Thanks for the report. How much are the fees at Playa Dorado? Green fee, cart fee, caddy fee, club rental?Greens fee was about 100. Caddy fee 20. Caddy tip, 20 per person. I don't know what rental clubs cost, I brought my own. But I saw them in the pro shop and they looked pretty beat up and old.

For a first time monger, would the Sosua veterans suggest Tijuana or Sosua? I like the thicker ladies and it seems like Sosua has my type more so than Tijuana, but Tijuana is much cheaper for me. Is Sosua better for beginners? Vice-versa?I travel to Sosua and Tijuana. I get out to Tijuana more often because it is more cost effective and of course it's closer. Sosua is a good treat when you have the time and money.

Tijuana is great when I am spending time in San Diego. I haven't been around the town in Tijuana, only back and forth to the zone. I haven't seen any black women there. Most of the attractive girls are thin. The larger ones usually aren't large in a good sort of way. Sosua is a good place to hang. A nice beach, a good variety of food, and you can walk around to all the bars, clubs, restaurants, girls, etc. The street girls in Tijuana are usually that great with service, but is cheap. While if you are in Sosua long enough, you will encounter some BS, overall the service is usually much better. If you like thick and / or black, Sosua is the place to go. But depending on where you live, it may be more expensive to get there.

So from my gathering, it seems like Tijuana might not be the best place for me if I like the bigger, darker women. I think I am going to save up more so I can explore the land of the dark and thick honeys. With that being said, is the DR really as shady and full of scammers as it seems? All the reports I've seen here and from TMB to Sosua have pretty much been detailing how chicas have stolen shit from unassuming bros and how even Uber drivers scam bros. I've been to sosua in 2017 and I loved it. It's rather small, it has a beautiful beach and vibrant night life, all within walking distance. Prices for chicas were around 2500 DOP ( 40€) for short time ( 1-2 hours) and 5000 DOP for long time (overnight).
Even during the week, you could always find some action, at the beach, in the street, near the restaurants and especially at night in the clubs.
Although there were many hard core putas there were some lovely girls as well with whom I really clicked to have a couple of days together and get an authentic girl friend experience.
I especially loved the weather and the beach with all the shops, restaurants and ability to take a daily swim.
Now my question to you guys:
Is there any place similar to sosua in the (south american) world?
* great weather.
* beach to swim.
* everything in walking distance.
* vibrant night life.
* lots of chicas, even during the week.
I have been looking at Colombia (santa marta), Cuba (guanabo), Belize (san pedro) and maybe Ecuador (atacames) but I would love your input on what city in the world comes even close to sosua for a beach vacation with latinas!

1) If you are an alcoholic, all bets are off. Not only do you lose control but you make yourself an obvious target. You can drink in your own country for similar prices. You cannot fuck young, attractive girls in your own country for similar prices. Remember your prime objective!
2) Lock all your shit away before you go out. Only take with you what you need for meals and drinks. You will pay the chica AFTER the deed once she is out of your room.
3) Dress down similar to the locals. Do not wear bling. Keep bigger bills separate from small bills so you do not have to go to that pocket just to pay for drinks or motos. Do not take bank cards out when hunting. Draw your cash first on a separate outing.
4) Do not accept help from local men who want to be your "fren" or guide or offer to find you chicas. Avoid street folk who can speak English. The traditional wisdom is that they learned it in US prisons. While I think that fear is a bit exaggerated, it probably does mean they live off tourists and will know all the dirty tricks. Many years since I mongered in Sosua, but when I did I avoided working girls who spoke decent English like the plague.
5) If you know your dates, try and hook up with some experienced member(s) here to show you the ropes, at least for your first day or two. Never tell locals your leaving dates. And depending on how far you are willing to walk in extremely hot weather I would not consider Cartagena a place where everything was within easy walking distance depending on where you are staying.

You'll find some at the beach during daytime but before 4 pm there is generally not much going on.
I was there last year and it's almost 50/50 Latina / Haitian. There are a LOT of Haitians in Sosua. And yes, City Lights is their spot. In my opinion, it's also one of the best clubs in Sosua because the girls actually seem to be enjoying their time there, dancing with each other for fun almost all evening.
I have had my best experiences in RD with Haitian girls. They are more service oriented, better in the sack and more open to GFE. They are also, ime, more honest and less likely to scam you, simply because they cannot afford to. They are poorer and get no support from the Police because Haitians are often illegal or at least looked down upon by Dominicans.
In contrast, the Dominican chicks, especially the blancas, are often super boring in bed and are all about making quick money. They are less freaky and often have no desire to please the customer at all.
You can use Tinder, Tagged, Badoo and Facebook. The girls are all over those platforms. Most of the girls on those platforms are chapiadoras or at least open to having a sugar daddy but you can't treat them like putas on there. You have to honestly chat and be friendly with them and do the whole dating thing, where you meet them at least once in a public place, unless you come recommended. These girls generally won't come to Sosua, because they don't want to be seen in that "working girl town". And quite frankly, when you are in Sosua, you don't need these platforms because there are more than enough girls in the streets and clubs all day every day. Use these platforms when you want to find a sweet girl for 1 week of honest GFE and be prepared to spend some time.
The Haitians are usually very slender though. So if you're into "big booty bitches, big big booty bitches" you might be disappointed.

Last time I was there, someone described City Lights as Haitian central. There were some very attractive Haitians at the bar underneath classicos when I was there, I had good service from one, usually not my first choice but on the next trip I will be in the mood.
Hitting Blackbeards is a good plan, usually quite a few attractive chicas, not usually many Haitian types. You can sign up for a newsletter or send them an email and the will send you some photos.

This may apply in any country, but I will apply it to the DR. A tourist or foreigner has an invisible target on his back just for not being a local. You can find yourself hoodwinked or bamboozled if you are not aware of the customs and behaviors of the locals when they deal with foreigners. For instance, as you move about Sosua, going to restaurants, bars, or any business establishment etc, you must do some diligence in making sure you protect yourself at all times. Make sure you are getting what you asked for and paid for. Often enough you can find yourself being charged for items that you never asked for.
You order a meal but don't tell them specifics. What you leave out or fail to focus on may lead a local using that to take advantage. Example, I'm with another couple at a dominican restaurant, and we ordered fish meals that had the price on the menu for a pound of fish. But we never told them specifically that we wanted one pound. We assumed we were only going to get one pound. They bring out the meals, and every plate was a pound and a half. Which added 300 pesos to every plate. With all the other food that came with it, all we needed was one pound.
Now some may say that's not scamming, but it shows how clever locals can be in finding ways of taking advantage of your ignorance or lack of attention to detail. So what I'm saying is, it's always a good idea to verify with whoever is tending to you on what they understood, and what you are paying for. Like don't get in a taxi / moto or gua gua without 1st finding out what the charge is. You don't ask, gives a slick driver the incentive to overcharge you. All because you failed to get the price straight 1st.
Make sure the person who receives your money acknowledges the denomination you gave them, and be sure to secure the correct change as soon as possible. Giving incorrect change is very common, especially towards foreigners. Avoid long running bar tabs, that can lead to problems when it's time to pay. Be careful with chicas who may be posted up nearby flirting with you, and then later you find out the chica got drinks or food on your bill. The servers see you interacting with chicas nearby, may use that to assume you are paying for food and drink just because the chica told them you were paying for it. In some cases, servers are doing that to help the chicas. Other times it's just the server being tricked into working against you.
I have to reemphasize what CP said about locking your stuff up before you go out. Not only lock it up, but try not to take it out until after she's gone. I have heard too many stories and have had this happen to me, where I took something out of hiding BEFORE the company was gone. Putting it at risk of getting stolen. The bottom line, like boxing, in Sosua you have to protect yourself, your interests and your personal effects AT ALL TIMES. And don't think that you leaving something in the next room is you supervising your stuff while you are in bed sleeping with a chica. She can get up at night, find your shit, or hide it somewhere, maybe get someone to come get it, and crawl back in the bed and act like nothing happened. It happened to me, and others. With no proof, your only recourse is to chock it up to a lesson re-learned the hard way. Dont get comfortable even with chicas you had in the past. To enough locals, any loss you suffer at their hands ( or someone elses ) is not a hardship. You are rich.
On the strip, but it can happen almost anywhere around town (including a massage parlor) , is having to deal with pickpockets / thieves. Thats why CP said something about only taking out what you need. Which really means what you are willing to lose. Some of these PP / thieves are quick and have help out in the street. Major rule when walking out in the street, avoid strangers trying to touch or embrace you. Often enough that could be someone trying to distract your attention while they lift or their accomplice lifts something.
I am in no way saying a person can't get through a day or night without things (and many other things) like this happening. It's just that these are a few potential realities to be on the lookout for. Other than that, a good time can be had in Sosua. Just look at those things as the cost of caution one may have to endure while they also enjoy what Sosua has to offer.

Thanks to all the guys who chimed in with their advice. I really appreciate it. I am going to be honest and say that all the scams that I have to navigate (based on trip reports and guides) is really bumming me out. In terms of transportation, do you guys use Uber or taxis? I have read that Uber fares are much cheaper, but there are a lot of scams you have to deal with Uber in the DR. I have heard that the taxi mob will take Uber fares and cancel them to waste your time. I have also read that some Uber drivers will pick you up and then "accidentally" cancel your fare in the middle of the ride and either double dip via setting up another fare or requesting that you pay in cash. This sounds shitty and seems like maybe paying the much higher taxi rates may be worthwhile just to avoid the headaches associated with Uber scammers. Can anyone share their experiences and / or tips on how to get a reasonable fare while traveling in Sosua, POP, Costambar, the DR in general?
I've been here for two days. It's very slow. The beach today was few in between. I've been coming here for a while and I thought this place would be packed with guys like me supporting single mothers. To my surprise it's actually down season. I went to Big Mama's and she says it's always slow during this time and won't pick up until after Christmas.
Meanwhile I went up to Classico and the place was nowhere near as packed as I have seen in the past. I was able to get a VIP booth at the very last minute but honestly there was room to move around and check out the club. The chicas were present it was just lack of tourists. I have to agree with whom ever said it was a buyers market. You definitely can negotiate for a lower then the normal.

You definitely can negotiate for a lower then the normal.Yes, it's slow in December but it can be one of the best months because the rainy season is usually over, the weather is great and the girls are scrambling to make money for Christmas, so you can get some of the best prices outside of the "low low" season during April to August. But the beach and water during the summer months are great, totally tranquil and perfect for swimming.
In January with more tourists and especially February with the super bowl, it's less of a buyers market.
Do yourself a favor and check out the beach bar scene in cabarete. Thursday through Saturday it should be popping, even now.

It has beautiful beaches, enough clubs, restaurants, casinos and other locations to keep you interested and enough chicas year round to keep you busy every day. Everything is within walking distance and prices are very decent ( 50 $ ST, 100 $ LT). Many of the girls are a bit hard core I. E. Street wise putas that cycle through tourists and don't care that much about customer service but that's to be expected.
My question is, do you guys know of any similar place on earth?
Where you have a small city with a beautiful swimming beach, lined with restaurants, that is basically an open air brothel with access to girls 24/7?

The majority of women you will find in the DR are in various shades of brown. This runs from shades of Halle Berry light to Lupita Nyongo dark. From cafe au lait to dark chocolate. Its actually hard to find "white" chicas. I also recommend starting at BB to get an introduction. No bait and switch, no scams, no drama queens. Depending on your Spanish, they can assist you in finding what you're looking for, and if there are complaints, you can take it to the management. In Sosua, its 'Buyer Beware. ' Once you have some exposure, take it to Sosua to compare.
I have seen one posting referring to BB in a demeaning tone, calling it a "resort brothel" (like that sounds bad? (Resort brothel? Eewwww, yuck! Sounds like a dream come true to me.
I often compare it to fishing. Sosua is like fishing for your own dinner. Some guys prefer to "catch their own. " They enjoy trolling the water. The downside is that you can have very mixed results, depending on if you know how to fish the local waters, and other factors beyond your control.
For me, I lacked the time and patience. BB is like a seafood restaurant where you pick out what you want, and enjoy it.
Each to his own taste, but I prefer to spend most of my time enjoying the fare, versus finding them.

I've been to Sosua and fell in love with it.
It has beautiful beaches, enough clubs, restaurants, casinos and other locations to keep you interested and enough chicas year round to keep you busy every day. Everything is within walking distance and prices are very decent ( 50 $ ST, 100 $ LT). Many of the girls are a bit hard core I. E. Street wise putas that cycle through tourists and don't care that much about customer service but that's to be expected.
My question is, do you guys know of any similar place on earth?

Sosua is close cheap and complete. By the way I get great customer service the vast mjority of the time. The scammers are not hard to spot and they are not numerous. Sosua totally satifies me. At my age.

The chicas rank from beginner to hard core regulars that have been on the street for 10 years or more. They don't get a lot of business, except for newbies, who don't know the difference.
These HC chicas have no problem engaging in a little larceny, petty theft etc. To make up the shortfall. As OldKool says, they are easily spotted and avoided, by anybody who has travelled. Like the chicas, mongers vary in attitude, taste, habits and behaviour, and I shake my head at some of the monger behavior here, which puts a target squarely on their backs.
Pooter's great list (below) of no nos is often ignored completely. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink! LOL.
The only thing I would add to the aforementioned list, is watch out for potholes, loose rebar and cables sticking out walls and poles on the sidewalks, and and those crazy drivers when crossing the street. as you move about Sosua, going to restaurants, bars, or any business establishment etc, you must do some diligence in making sure you protect yourself at all times. Make sure you are getting what you asked for and paid for. Often enough you can find yourself being charged for items that you never asked for.
You order a meal but don't tell them specifics. What you leave out or fail to focus on may lead a local using that to take advantage. Example, I'm with another couple at a dominican restaurant, and we ordered fish meals that had the price on the menu for a pound of fish. But we never told them specifically that we wanted one pound. We assumed we were only going to get one pound. They bring out the meals, and every plate was a pound and a half. Which added 300 pesos to every plate. With all the other food that came with it, all we needed was one pound.
Now some may say that's not scamming, but it shows how clever locals can be in finding ways of taking advantage of your ignorance or lack of attention to detail. So what I'm saying is, it's always a good idea to verify with whoever is tending to you on what they understood, and what you are paying for. Like don't get in a taxi / moto or gua gua without 1st finding out what the charge is. You don't ask, gives a slick driver the incentive to overcharge you. All because you failed to get the price straight 1st.As for your situation. I would recommend that instead of asking for "un masaje completo", tell the chica you want chupa chupa or leche con su manos o leche en su boca etc. Let the Spanish experts lend a hand here. The point is, if you want a HJ or want a BJ you have to ask for that in a way that they understand, and find out how much it costs. Performance, customer service, mood, vibe, trustworthiness etc is still in the hands of the people we deal with. We pay for sex and companionship, but we have no control of the quality or performance of services that's offered. Just something we have to deal with.
A quick unrelated story on what happened yesterday at a store in Sosua. I bought an extension cord from one of the local stores months ago. I assumed it worked when I bought it but never used it. Until 2 days ago. So I knew ID have a problem bringing it back and seeking a resolution. So instead, I went to the same store, bought an identical cord. The last one on the shelf. Took it home to test it. It was good. Took the defective cord and my receipt back to the store.
I figured it was going to be a simple issue, but the lady there didn't want to give me a refund. She wanted to offer me store credit. Or wait for another cord to come from one of their sister stores. I didn't want store credit or to wait for a replacement. As far as she was concerned, she knew I just bought the cord less than an hour ago. So just give me the money back. I'm a regular customer. But the main focus is not about the cost or loss, it's just how one must get by dealing with locals sometimes. In the DR, you have to accept that principles arent their priority in your regard , especially depending on where they sit or stand on the issue. Sometimes the fox has to outfox the fox. Or beat them at their own game.

My regular watering hole is the bar inside the grounds of Las Palmeras Hotel and I have seen the scenario play out a hundred times and every time the gringo stands his ground the chica calls the policia and the policia tells the gringo if the chica entered the room she is to get paid, period. Just recently I watched a dumbass stand his ground with the police and they hauled his culo off to jail and it ended up costing him 700 dollars to get out. It sucks but if you think that you are not going to let the chica win in Sosua you are wrong, I'm sure that at least one guy on this forum in particular will argue that he never gives in to the chicas blah blah blah but the fact is what I have personally witnessed a gazillion times and that chances are if the chica crossed the threshold you are going to pay her something if she wants to put up a fight, cheaper to negotiate a settlement with her than the police.

You never see so many problems in other monger locations.IMO it's not important to know how often does this really happen, the key is it happens often ENOUGH, and the potential is always there. Thats why mongers really should be careful in their dealings. I learned this coming to Sosua enough years, and having lived here enough years.
All a guy has to do is spend time talking to mongers and hear their stories and examples. About guys getting hemmed up by the police over a conflict with a chica that could have been resolved by cutting ones losses. Guys standing their ground with a chica being wrong, and end up paying much more than if they would have just settled it before the police got involved.
And that's only for simple disputes. It can get much worse if a chica starts lying on you. Like claim you never paid her. Claim you assaulted her. She can injure herself and tell the cops that you are responsible for it. Once that happens, aint nobody focused on the mongers concerns. Everything now is focused on what she reports you did or didn't do. We have to take into consideration the potential agenda the police may have in taking their turn in milking a cash cow themselves.

All of those things can be dealt with to reduce ones risk.
1) don't pay chicas upfront.
2) If some guy has a Patreon page, you arent obligated to send money.
3) don't do weed / drugs or get caught with weed / drugs. Reduce and / or eliminate contact with people who can potentially get you into trouble.
4) Know the potential risks of other goings on where you monger.
5) Accept the fact that there will always be others who choose to do things their way. And accept that we can't change the world and people we live with. But one can adapt. And we can sit on the sidelines shaking our heads at what we see.
All that happens anywhere is representative of individuals who happen to be in a certain place. That doesn't mean, that is the totality of that place. Why do I say this? SHIT HAPPENS. A common problem with a lot of mongers I see, stems from the fact that the game in Sosua is totally freelance, and not organized and regimented as in Amsterdam, FKK, or BB, or even the escort services back home. When I had my accident with my car where a boy on a moto hit my car. My DR car insurance company paid off the boy and his mother 10000 pesos so that there would be no further action against the insurance company. I thought it was fucked up at 1st. But I learned the wisdom in it later. If the mother decided to take it further, a court case could be long and drawn out, and cost the insurance company much more than a 10000 peso pay out. I had to pay my own deductible to get my car fixed even though the boy was at fault and hit me.
So now we have a fucked up chica in our midst. And a man with an ego that can't get past how wrong she is and how she don't deserve to get paid for doing nothing. Takes a chance but unfortunately for him he hooked up with a chica that has an officer ready to come johnny on the spot to "resolve" the issue. In the end the guy is out $700 US instead of the 2000 pesos the chica was screaming about and making a scene.
If a guy isn't lucky enough to have a security guard or someone there that can make that chica back down and move on, then he may be fucked. It's up to him to test the waters. The bottom line, nobody has to assume there is ONLY one way a situation can and will be resolved. Everything depends on the situation in the moment. I had an incident awhile back with two chicas. I had dealt with one two nights in a row so the third night I leaving out of the club with her and her girlfriend is kinda standing off to the side. Once the police were involved, it could've been much worse. Recently, a colleague of mine had to pay over $500 to avoid more severe consequences. After sex, a chica asked for money over and above the agreed amount. When he wouldn't pay her the higher amount, she contacted her English-speaking "uncle" and the tourist police. The chica claimed that her cedula was fake and that she wasn't of age. My colleague spent a stressful night in the tourist police jail until he was able to come to an agreement on a payment to the mafiosa via the "uncle". His alternative was to be sent before a Puerto Plata judge and take his chances with Dominican justice.
Obviously, this was an extortion scam. While this gambit is common is the Philippines, it's almost unheard of in Sosua--until recently.

To be honest, I trust that the issue of chicas running these extortion scams to be a real issue that even competent mongers have run into. With that being said, I also believe that some reports have to be taken with a grain of salt and thoroughly vetted. In Sosua its all negotiable, but even at 2500 pesos, you'd only be paying $50. If an extra $10 for sex is a problem, maybe you can't afford it. Your biggest expenses will be air fare and accommodations, depending on the length of your stay.
Another forum member once opined that if you have to pinch pennies on your vacation, its better to save up enough so that its not a matter of concern.

It's my day to buy drinks for the group. When the bill came I notice it was 230 pesos more. I called the waitress over, pointed it out, and she apologized and made the correction. He thought it was funny. I told him if the Dominicans don't see me respecting my money they would not respect me. When in DR You must do as the Dominicans.
Later when I saw him he told me that Chica stayed all night, left at 2:00 pm and gave him three sessions with BBBJ all for the 2500 pesos. He said she was better than all four Chicas he had thus far. She offered to stay with him for the rest of his duration for 6000 pesos. He couldn't believe the deal he was offered.

It is just a case of YMMV as to why different people are paying different. As always I will negotiate (yep, $10 is a big deal to me; takes like $25 to fill up the rental car plus when I think about places like GBP where pussy is $20, why would I pay an extra $10) whereas others just take the first price they are given. Still others tell the girl right off what they are willing to pay. So there are no actual "normal" prices.

What we don't have here is enough reports from individuals that this happened to, that resolved the issue without incident. Those men may not be on ISG. Those of us who are on ISG, may not be privy to those situations or stories that turned out okay. And not just about chicas asking for money upfront. But many issues. So once again. Do we use the glass half empty or half full approach when deciding on the overall nature of the game in Sosua and trying to pigeonhole Sosua based on select negative reports and warnings only?

Sosua. Second trip in 8 months.
New Year's Day was quiet when we arrived hungover from Santiago. A lot of places were closed. Minimal girls. Got more tinder hits from POP vs Sosua. Clubs were pretty quiet this night.

2. Where would you recommend staying? I am thinking Europa, New Garden, or finding a place of AirBnB because that is the cheapest option by far.
3. Is mongering in Sosua doable if you don't speak a word of Spanish?1. For the extra one or two hundred dollars depending on where in the United States. If money is problem take the bus. But remember. If you go the to Santo Domingo you probably will spend the night in the hotel by yourself. Why not just stay another night in Sosua. Plus you have the two hour bus ride Plus saving the hassle of going from bus station to hotel in Sosua and Santo Domingo. Hotels have safes in room. First thing to do when getting in room. Lock up wallet and phone.
2. Hotel are up to you with price and quality. But you want a hotel close to the action. So do not know where AirbnB will be. While the hotels are close to the action.
3. You do not need to know any Spanish. 95% of the girls speak enough English to get what you want. If the girl does not speak English, just move on to another girl. All you restaurant employees and most hotel workers speak English. If they don't speak English the next person will.

The noise level varies based on where your room is located. Avoid rooms on the left side of the hotel and get one in the back on one of the upper floors. Rooms on the right side towards the back should be OK too.
At least with me, Diego would always let me change rooms if I had any issues with the one I was staying in. Not sure if he owns that hotel anymore though.

Once the police were involved, it could've been much worse. Recently, a colleague of mine had to pay over $500 to avoid more severe consequences. After sex, a chica asked for money over and above the agreed amount. When he wouldn't pay her the higher amount, she contacted her English-speaking "uncle" and the tourist police. The chica claimed that her cedula was fake and that she wasn't of age.

But if you think she is under 18. She probably is. Let her go. A national ID card was just passes by their Congress. It will take a few years to issue.

It can be done. Especially if you're in shape and speak some Spanish. But many Chicas in Merengue and classico will want 2500 or more. I just came home from a 2 wk trip. The exchange rate took a big dip down to 47.14 (year's low) that month last year then went right back up.

Landed in POP at around 11:30 PM and everything went without a hassle. Didn't have to pay any fees, so not sure what the $10 tourism fee that some spoke about here and elsewhere is about. Driver brought me to Hotel Europa and along the way, I'm going to be honest, I was a bit taken aback by how rundown the the neighborhoods we passed were. Driver dropped me off and asked for $30 and I gave him $40 based on the advice from a TMBTS member suggesting that I have him in my pocket so that he'the pull through with some chicas if I needed or needed a trusted driver anywhere. At this point, it's actually raining pretty heavily in Sosua. Check in and brother with a shotgun brings me to my room. A bit of a wake up moment but I am a sheltered individual, and not used for these type of environments. Fair play to the shotgun guy in that he was actually a chill guy and pulled through.

Don't let the "brother with a shotgun" thing scare you. You will see that all down through Central and South America and the Caribbean.

What is your Spanish like, SosuaPlaya? If you have nil or virtually nil it is harder to check out chicas. You may rely on those with English and they are likely to have been longer on the game and thus more hardened.

Apologies for going quiet.
I am back in the States and I have to admit that I was very disappointed in my time in Sosua. I believe a large amount of my issues were probably a result of this being my first ever mongering trip, but it has left me questioning if I want to continue this. I just did not enjoy myself and I take the whole trip to be a large waste of money and valuable vacation time. The chica talent in Sosua was incredible and I cannot fault the quality of chicas. If the current state of talent is only a shell of the talent available in previous years, then I truly regret not having seen Sosua in previous years. That being said, I saw 8 chicas during my short time in Sosua and I can not say I enjoyed the service of any of them. If the current state of talent is only a shell of the talent available in previous years, then I truly regret not having seen Sosua in previous years. That being said, I saw 8 chicas during my short time in Sosua and I can not say I enjoyed the service of any of them. My experience has been full of uninspired and largely mechanical service from all the chicas I sampled. Some of them did try to put more effort into pleasing me, but I was very disappointed my script wasn't followed at all and that the sex was still subpar. It got to the point where I didn't even feel the desire to have a chica on the last couple days of my vacation.

A good start, anyway, but the main problems you mention were the lack of satisfactory service from the chicas you took, the food, and the hassle from the local hustlers.
The food in Sosua is varied, and ranges from cheap local street food, burgers, pizza, to a couple of high end Steak, Seafood and Lobster houses. German, Italian, Jamaican, American barbeque, and fresh caught fish. See the posts from our resident gourmet, Tempecorto.
I have been coming here for 10 years and have not yet managed the time to sample all the food on offer.
I can't say anything about the service you got from the chicas, as we all have different needs, but it sounds like you perhaps you should have heeded the advice of vets here who suggested you may be a good candidate for a starter program at Blackbeards.
As for the local hustlers:
You say you have led a sheltered life, and it is clear from your posts you were tentative and apprehensive (may I say nervous?) about your trip, with many questions posted here about every aspect of your travel.
These are the hallmarks of a rank newbie, and local hustlers can spot one a mile away.
So you had a bullseye on your back, from the beginning. I do my daily walk thru town to the beach almost every day, and can honestly say I hardly notice them, or they me.
With a stay at Blackbeards, or a wingman your experience may have been different.
But hey, at least you got all your questions answered by your visit and can move on.

I have visited Thailand often and I really enjoy it there. Though I have never been to Thailand for mongering. I am a little taken aback by those two sentences of yours. I have been to Thailand on Business at least on 30 occasions and mongering (whatever you mean by that) there, was a natural corollary as eating, or sleeping. I am therefore perplexed that you have visited it often but will need to make a special trip for "mongering". I must say, I am scratching my head, for what else does one do there at the end of a work day?
I would say this, I enjoy (DR) Sosua a lot more than Thailand (Indonesia was my favorite). One of the reasons is that in Sosua, I deal only with the seller of service. In Thailand, there is always, a mamasan lurking in the background and goons when required, not that that should bother one. I cannot also say that I do not like Thai women but there too, I have had my share of "mechanical sex"- indeed that is a given anywhere. But other than the food, I do not miss Thailand. Try Sosua again, perhaps starting at the club mentioned by others, also because you like the type of physique as you stated.

Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your time in Sosua. Don't make the mistake of judging the mongering lifestyle based solely on your experience in Sosua. I have mongered (and continue to monger) all around the world (read my many trip reports) and can honestly say that the "mongering script" is different wherever you go. Still, I have a lot of great and fun memories of banging girls that I could never get in my home country, so I have no plans of abandoning the pay-for-play lifestyle anytime soon.
The only final piece of advice that I will give you is that you mentioned in your first Sosua trip report that you don't speak Spanish. Consider taking a basic Spanish course at your local community college or through an online school. Knowing some basic Spanish will open up all of Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, El Salvador, etc) to you for mongering activities, and some of my best mongering memories were made south of the Rio Grande River and south of the Panama Canal.

I too have experienced the Sue over a year ago, spent as I recall 11 days in the Sue, I probably won't return as I have other places (ie Colombia) where I spend my money and time.

The Tall Man.I think the big difference is there were a lot of spots where you could chill that brought chicas to Sosua that didn't want to be out on the street or in the hot ass sun or didn't make it to Clasicos. There were several nice strip clubs in Sosua where you could smash on site or just chill and have some drinks, get your grope on, or just kick it and set something up for after hours. This was in addition to Rumbas and later on DLatin. In addition to the beach and Clasicos / Merengue, it was always good to have many more options. Many of those restaurants like Bourbon Street were also formerly bars with chicas available.

I had a permanent heart, and groin, ache for those Venezuela, Panama, Columbia, young beauties I saw on TV, likewise the girl groups, from Ronnie Spector through Destiny's Child, knowing I could never be in their world, at least unless I got very rich, and would die without fucking my dream girl! Local Strip club, never did it for me (until much later, after Sosua).
Fast forward, enter Sosua. Now after two passibly attractive, but dedicated and domesticated long term GFs, I am now hanging with some as good or better than anything I saw on TV. I look around me, and with a nod, I can fuck them. THERE IS A GOD! They are not as dependable, or as domesticated as my current chica, and would be high maintenance as a regular GF, (guys ogling, coming over for introductions, not showing up on time, etc) but we all get along and have a little bonding shared through a couple of years of family experiences and partying together.

If that is true, then the cost has risen.
