I think the country doesn't want to be known as a sex tourism destination.

Actually the chica herself had no problem appearing in the movie, but she wanted more money than was offered. At least it reads that way.Everyone already know know what it is, you have natives in the United States the broadcast what goes on, my Barber shop knows i'm going and they said what i'm going for thats neither here nor there!!!!

.......also keeps the punter from making front page after being mugged and/or stabbed trying to deal with "uncontrolled" putas.

I'm sure the DR's government understands that if Punters don't feel safe spending money in their country then we will simply find someplace else to go. Crimes against punters is bad PR for the country.

Absolutely, although I imagine that economics is only part of the reason. It seems to be an integral and, therefore, accepted part of the culture, in my opinion. Hell, I have no doubt that the foreign monger faction is but a fraction of the overall activity taking place on the island. Anyone who would have any doubt about it need look no further than the thousands of cabanas dotted around the country, cabanas that were built to serve the Dominican populace, not the foreign monger.

Prostitution in that country isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Prostitution in that country isn't going anywhere anytime soon.If you were to get out of So-sewer, the puta capital of the DR, you will find that the DR is a beautiful country NOT dependant upon prostitution. The gringo and his cash is a hard find other than in puta city. So don't think for one second the DR would collapse without the monger's cash. To you and other mongers don't ever think the entire country is like Sosua. Go to SD, Jarabacoa, Santiago, Juan Dolio, and see how much sex you can get with your cash. These chicas won't as much give a gringo the time of day. Matter of fact you can visit the campo or the barrios and you will find prostitution is not the main cash flow buisness of the DR.

Yes, the cabanas are used primarily for Dominicanos and their novias.

Thanks for the heads up Bq Ribs, for I would've been sorely pissed off traveling to other parts of the country and not be able to get sex with my cash. I can stay in America for that scenario.

So fellow mongers, heed Bq Ribs advice: If you want to get laid while you are in DR, stick to the "Puta Capital" Sosua and PP.

Otherwise you end up going home holding your dick, for as Bq Ribs says:

This entire website and it's concept is EXPLOITATION!

Life is hard in the DR. Do you really think that bonita chica you just paid to fuck you really wants to be with you. She's acting asshole so she can eat. And feed her family. In fact, she has to take drugs and get drunk just to do the deed.

Sorry, but I don't agree with your definition of punting as "Exploitation."

I see a business transaction between two agreeing parties: money for sex.

I can assure you that not every woman is engaged in prostitution. But the ones who are more than likely do so because in this business they can make more money than working as a waitress or cleaning hotel rooms.

It's the exact same concept with Porn Stars, Strippers, or Escorts here in the US. Sure, they can go work at McDonalds or even at the bank. But they know where to go and what to do if they're interested in making more money than "everyone else."

But remember, no one is forcing her to "have" to do it in order to survive. She is simply supplying a demand.

Business 101

I've dated a DR woman for the past 7 years.

More specifically, I rescued her from a life on the street that you vultures blog and praise about every fucking day.

Really? Well congratulations, you've found a woman who is only with you because you've got money. Welcome to the club!

P.S.: Who is the true EXPLOITER/HYPOCRITE amongst us?

I'm looking for some other perverts (not just mongers... but those that like orgies, swing clubs - yes the locals have them and gang bangs) that want to meet up and exploit the country...

I'm talking about TRUE EXPLOITATION... not just partaking of the working girls...

I'm talking about making some of the locals our novias and going back to their campo casa (country home) and fucking both their mother and sisters...

Or, searching the streets for those pregnant single mothers that need cash...
and gang banging her ass (literally) so she can buy some milk for her other turds....

Or, best yet, making one of the ugly putas our slave for a couple of days...
tee hee hee... I'm talking about some serious S&M Demented shit...

The point is if you need something more than the local money hunger puntas have to offer hit me up... DR is ripe for exploiting.

It is guys like you that give the hobby a bad name. Just because she engages in sex work doesn't mean you have to treat her like she is less than shit sir.

BTW, your original post is starting to look very suspect. I am beginning to believe you are a "wolf in sheep's clothing" and are actually an operative of Code Pink. I've only been on this board for a year but never have I come across someone so "excited" about the word "exploitation." I mean damn, you used the word at least 3 times...

BTW, your original post is starting to look very suspect. I am beginning to believe you are a "wolf in sheep's clothing" and are actually an operative of Code Pink. I've only been on this board for a year but never have I come across someone so "excited" about the word "exploitation." I mean damn, you used the word at least 3 times...I'm just going to head off this creep with the handle "Alias" which is some sort of jedi mind trick alias/handle that we can't see through. What he'll say next, I promise, is that we're all exploitators afraid of the word "exploitation."

Personally I feel exploited when I'm talking to a woman in a nightclub and it becomes apparent that she needs me to buy her a drink to continue the conversation. Or when I meet a pretty woman and I'd like to spend more time getting to know her and she insists (along with our oppressive society) that I have to pay (for a meal, or concert tickets, or a house and two cars) for her to keep me company.

And nothing on the face of the earth can be more exploitative than a strip club -- calculate your net worth before you enter one and recalculate when you leave. Has it ever gone up? I didn't ask to have these needs, they came in with puberty, but yet I am exploited for these natural needs.

What's funny is if an older woman does something to make herself feel young again like get plastic surgery -- you ever see the way it's treated if it doesn't work out. She's a victim of some company or surgeon. But if a man does something similar he's an exploiter.

If you get married and the wife stays home full-time while you are the breadwinner -- you exploited her. If she works and you stay home full-time while she is the breadwinner -- you're exploiting her. If you both work and earn the bread -- you're exploiting her (she has add'l burdens of motherhood and faces sexism at work).

If you go to a strip-club and spend a weeks worth of salary in a few hours -- you're exploiting her/them. If you have a penis and you woke up this morning and are still breathing, look around to see the nearest woman (even a blood relative) -- guess what, all together now -- you're exploiting her.

Please let's not feed this troll, my excuse is it's Thanksgiving; and everybody gets fed today.

Yes, the cabanas are used primarily for Dominicanos and their novias.

I'm not sure how it is that you misinterpreted my comments as meaning that prostitution is the only "industry" in the country, but you need to re-read my comments again and take them in the vein in which they were meant. Since the OP regarding the topic was mongering related, my comments were limited only to that. It had nothing to do with the country being dependent on it. My ultimate point was that prostitution in the DR exists outside of that which serves the foreigner, hence the comment about the many cabanas that exist in the country. True, to some degree they exist for the "dominicanos and their 'novias'", just make sure you don't tell the Dominicano's wife about it, and certainly don't confront him when he's leaving Illusions or Passions with his "novia" on the way to one of them cabanas. If your point was to give the impression that those cabanas are used solely for "legitimate" relationships, I don't buy it for a second. The average Dominican cannot afford the cost of a room to go fuck his "girlfriend". However, the more affluent Dominican can certainly afford to sneak off with his hooker, I mean, his "novia".

BTW, I have been outside of Sosua. In fact, I rarely go to Sosua and prefer to stop in only on occasion. I have been to all of the places you've listed , with the exception of Juan Dolio (haven't heard enough to make me want to go), and I've had pussy in every one of them. True, the campos and barrios are not prostitution dependent because there aren't enough mongers who will venture into them to make them so. However, read some of the TR's on other sites where mongers did take the gamble and went into these areas. They certainly didn't seem to have much of a problem engaging the local chicas, for a price, of course. HeHeHe

My tie to the DR goes well beyond mongering and I tend to associate mostly with Dominicans when I am there, which is about 6 months out of the year. Are you sure you're as in tune with the place as you seem to believe you are?

I live since 15 years in Sosua. And everything is sound and save.

Stop writing all this BS.compare to New York Sosua is a save placeI agree with you, I have been to New York. Harlem, Queens, Manhattan. Etc. You step into the wrong neighborhood at the wrong time and youd wish you gone to Sosua, hell Los Angeles aint no joke. The point is to be aware. And not naive, of your surroundings. Hey Bob. It seems like you are hell bent. On proving that Sosua is a dangerous place. Okay! We get the point! Its one thing, writing on how you need to be cautious. But it seems "the skyy is falling". When it come to you. I've been to Sosua, I am cautious of my surroundings as of any other place, either Domincan Republic or here in Portland, Or. Trouble is trouble no matter where you go. But I won't go as far as to say Sosua is safe and sound. That would be naive on my part.

I know this isn't the only blog for DR mongers online. It appears that chicas can be found without much hunt in nearly any city in the country. I wonder why Sousa is so special? If the foreign monger is afraid of this spot, then go to another. And if many leave, the chicas will follow. Perhaps a new little sea shore village strip with better security.

I'm in the mental health field and I understand all the reasond why these girls and boys give themselves. Where ever you are from in the world, the reasons are less than joyful indeed. We do take advantage of their situations and sadly, we come with our own sad situations to travel for sex without emotional attachment...just like the girls and boys.

But you know, it's always been this way for thousands of years and appearently albeit sad, agreeable exchange.

We all should stop going to the DR because we are just adding to the problem. Yes we are taking advantage of these innocent young women who would not be selling themselves if it were not for us horrible gringos from North America. Yes we must stop at once and these young women would turn themselves back into the great chaste women they are.

Se Vende....this is printed every where. Everything is for sale in the DR and I mean everything. If no more North Americans went there they would still be selling themselves. What is the most confusing day of the year in the DR?
Fathers Day ! That's because they have no clue as to who daddy is!

Alias talks about doing some "really sick shit".

Well nothing I ever came up with to do with a chica ever raised her eyebrows but some of the things they came up with did raise mine.
Just because of who these girls are does not mean you can treat them as non-humans. They are human beings and need to be treated as such. This does not mean because you pay them for some time in the sack that you took them to raise.

Oh and they hate you because you have money. It does not matter where you are from. You have money and they do not. Therefore, they hate you.
I have gone to Boca Chica more times than you guys have fingers and toes. When I went I was an oddity since the place was covered with Italians and Germans. They hated them because they were the most common tourist in the area. Americans were more of a rarity and the vast majority of them stayed at the all inclusive hotels. Therefore, they did not hate me. They loved me. Then bunches of Americans started going and they began to hate Americans.

Does the EXPLOITATION theory apply to the 100's of Caucasion women chasing down and "exploiting" the local Dominican men or is is just us men that are the bad guys?

For every looney here that bangs, hits, and "exploits" there are 100's that simply want to come here just to be with a Dominican woman that makes them remember what it feels like to be a man again, And most ALL of us are willing to treat them like ROYALTY in return. Finally, once we again feel like REAL MEN, we are more than willing to feed them, buy them clothes, feed their children and buy their children clothes. When we return, they jump for joy and are excited to see us again and again and again.

I'm a fairly good looking handsome man in my mid 40's with a successful business but the exchange for my time and money is exponentially more beneficial with the novia I found "exploiting" here in the D. R. After 13 years of being beaten up and down in a marriage ending in an ungodly divorce settlement, and an additional 14 years of honest effort to date impossible to please and demanding American women with bad attitudes, sexual hangups, financial demands, and even worse, poor care for their appearance and I'll take a Dominican woman EVERY TIME. All they have ever asked of me is to be treated nicely like a lady, and in return I feel like a KING.

It seemed to me the "bond of marriage" and U. S. Dating rituals were ultimately nothing less than a subtle but effective form of prostitutional extortion and exploitation of ME. Sex has become such a crime in the U. S. That now, just telling a woman how nice she looks, a strong glance, etc. Will get you a look as though you are some kind of pervert. I'll pass!

I'll agree, I see a fair share of "pigs" out there, but no chica has ever been forced to lay down with any of them, it is their choice, and their choice alone. The D. R. Also ensures there are no pimps, and the girls (AND MEN) practicing the trade are doing so at their own free will. Consentual sex and yes, even prostitution is NOT ILLEGAL in the D. R. Matter of fact, unlike their American counterparts, the Dominican women seem to actually enjoy the act of sex, and also take considerable pride in pleasing their man in a non-sexual ways.

The people of the Dominican Republic seem just fine with running their own country. The rest of us are guests and not forced to visit if we don't like it. Unless you are Dominicana, you should stick to manipulating the sexual mentality where you live and try to fix the multitude of your own problems you have in your country.

My kindest thanks for allowing me to express my opinion.

Bob, this section has goine from sex to crime to the needs of the monger and chica or chico. It appears that we all have a different view of each from our own experiences. There's truth in each posting whether someone wishes to exploit and cause harm or enjoy the feelings of having a ship in the night to share our time with. Thats why there are males and females and this thing we call respect. I did appreciate your post.

Arrived Thanksgiving Week. I am your lazy spoon fed monger, This is my first trip to sosua. There was a fantastic post on getting around sosua by pictures. It was very helpful. Stayed in the new wing at the new garden hotel. Great socializing with some fellow mongers.compared to BB's, there were so many places to explore and walk around day or night. My fun is mostly daytime, evening. Didn't do the nightclubs. Pulled in chica's from the hotel, massage parlors, street. Did mostly ST. I never do LT. In my hunting it was a little difficult to find some good quality chicas. I think puerto plata city girls is a step above. At BB's the girls are ready to move on after you pop off, In sosua the girls give you their full time even after the leeche is gone. I had a good time. , Great places to eat, Hung out at the famous Lapassions a couple of times. My one big mistake I made: There were times when I was approached by a chica for some love, but I was not ready for that moment, Should have taken down their phone #'s. Sosua beach is a longer stretch than I thought. Did a day trip to Santiago with my wingman Lionel (your man on the ground). Hooked me up with a non-pro chica for the evening. Back in the cold NYC. I have my memories and smiling on the inside. Thanks to all who post on the forums. You keep me going!

My one big mistake I made: There were times when I was approached by a chica for some love, but I was not ready for that moment, Should have taken down their phone #'s.Get a cheap Dominican Cell Phone!

I FINALLY purchased a cell phone here in Sosua, completed my first week of two today and it makes a HUGE difference. I got it right across the street from SeaBreeze Hotel on Alex Martinez. "Gino", the owner at SeaBreeze walked me across the street, told them what I wanted and they fixed me up. It's a Clairo, cost me 550 pesos (about $15 US) and included activation and 100 peso card. I mostly have been texting on it and still on the first 100 peso card after 5 days.

The best part of it if you use it for mongering is that you just hand it to the chicas and have them dial their number and save their name. Some will just grab it and do it without asking. A couple daytime walks will generate more numbers to call than you can handle.

Unfortunately, mine is just a "long leash" used by my novia.

YOU NEED TO WRITE A BOOK, some idiot did on hobbyist going to Brazil called "blame it on Rio". Maybe if someone express what men needed instead of millions of women being influenced by "Oprah and Sex in the city", maybe relationships would be better.

That is something that you need to negotiate in advance. In general they prefer the threesome (happy hour) where they don't have sex with each other. To make the lesbian threesome thing work out, the hard part is that first you have to find at least one girl who is really into sex with other girls, because you don't want to end up with them just putting on a half-hearted, perfunctory performance that lasts two minutes and then they say it is over. No harm in asking around for a chica who is into chicas.

It IS possible to get a good lesbian threesome going, but not very easy for a newbie to get it right.

My recommendation would be to find one girl who would be into it, then let her find the other. Good luck.

the dominican republic is the 2nd poorest country in the western hemisphere. no it's not. in fact, if you understand what gdp is. if not don't worry about it because i don't need to lecture about economic to an idiot. there are at least 10 countries that have lower gdp than dr in central, south america and caribbean (this does not include few african countries that also fall under western hemisphere) jamaica, costa rica, nicaragua, honduras, guatemala, paraguay, suriname, uruguay, el salvador, panama, haiti, suriname, belize. etc and list goes on!

these women don't engage in the sex trade to supplement their incomes.

they have no other form of income. most are illiterate and come from extremely dysfunctional homes. not true. i thought you dated these girls and got intimate with them. and your knowledge of these girls are lacking. many girls i've dated are beautiful and smart and very literate. in fact, i meet few semi-pro who only does p2p transaction time to time to supplement normal income for special occasions. working girls are normal girls who just need little help. if you can't see that and think that they are shit. you sir are a horrible person.

i've studied business to psychology and it sounds to me as that you are very disturbed and angry. at many things. i suggest you visit a shrink. : p

the country simply doesn't have the infrastructure.

you know this and you're taking advantage of it.

you are exploiting them!

this is why they hate you! does that you include yourself? because it sure sounds like you are partaking that exploitation as you are mentioning. 1. they wouldn't be with your ugly ass if you didn't have money.

2. you are also one of many who dates girl in poverty strucken nation such as dr. do you honestly think when you pay for a girls' tuition, that is not another form of prostitution? from what i see, you are lesser men than those who engage in p2p transaction b/c at least they don't give a girl hope that this men could marry her. ask yourself an honest question. when you pay for that girls tuition and give intimate stuff. do you honestly plan on marrying her? to me. playing with a girls mind. intimacy is not something we should do. that itself is true exploitation what we need to stop!

these girls deserve chance to have nice loving hubby and family and not to be played by jerks like yourself sir!

i know women in the street who have college degrees yet can't get a job. again, no infrastructure. i know many peep in usa who has college degrees! and can't get a job. people need to stop blame things on why they can't. why this. why that. and reflect on themselves and they will see the answer. if answer found. fix them.

if you read my post correctly you would've noticed that my approach is not the same as yours. it's not a business transaction. i'm not targeting the working girls. but the locals who honestly would never sleep with your nasty ass unless absolutely necessary. targeting is a very strong word which seem like you are the one targeting girls to exploit. and i am not defending pro seeker because i m nasty ugly ass. in fact i get many girls free. many pro girls offer to go home with me free! after 1 or 2 session with me. about 75% of girls have orgasm with me and they all ask me when they will see me again (these girls hardly ever have orgasm while working- how i know this? because i talk to them. if you are pro enough you know when a girl is having an orgasm, milk. juice. etc had few squirters-very rare and many who gave me milk down there).

i look for novias. girlfriends. meaning i'm not paying them.

i focus on fore play (something i got the feeling you know nothing about since you reduce sex to a business transaction).

in my case, exploitation is sensual and seductive. like a sex game. they know it's just play up front and that i respect them. (again fore play).

as i said, people like their sex dirty. the same kind of play occurs in the us. world wide. (e. g. couples swapping, sex tapes, orgies, public sex, etc)

but since you reduce sex to a business transaction. you don't understand this. and you're missing out on the best part of sex.

intimacybusiness trasaction just simply means something given for something taken. pleasure given and taken is also considered business transaction. i am sure everyone of the forum member will agree that you also engaged in this "business transaction" you detest about!

one simple question. is your girl getting money from you in any sort of form? this include tuition. if yes. go to next question.

is she engaged in any form of sexual behavior? this includes touching teta. boobs. butt. bunda. ass. etc. kissing. sex. the whole nine yard. no need more example. if yes. then go to next question.

do you still think you are not engaging in sex for money transaction?

if yes. read the next sentence

welcome to the club. we call ourselves hypocrites.

I arrived Wed 26th stayed at Seabreeze. Good hotel for the money (40usd). Decided to check out the Wednesday strippers (5usd) at club x. Stayed solo and after 15 Cuba libres stagered home at 2am. My Puerto plata chic maria was due her period at end of month, so I had 2 day window to fuck her. Maria came up thurday night we had turkey at Maui Maui, then Latina club, classicos and club x in that order. Fucked Maria that night but had to keep checking the condom for her period (damn). Told Maria I was going to Santigo Friday to get rid of her. Friday went to playa Sosua had lobster for lunch (850p). Picked up beach girl carmen for afternoon delight (1000p)took to seabreeze. Friday night started latinos, the two sisters were waitressing. Its funny to watch them shoot rolled up napkins at unsuspecting customers. Had one three trips ago and she was a fire cracker. I wanted something new but mostly same recycled chics from past trips. Then I saw Marias sister who I had met the night before. I figured the best way to keep her from snitching was to fuck her (only in Sosua). She stayed the night and was hot, plus good morning sex. Saturday get back to seabrezze at 4pm and Maria is there outside talking to a dominican dude (oh shit)he jumps on his motoconcho and leaves. The dominican dude saw her in puero plata and told her I was still in sosua fucking other chics (she says). She cursed me out, cried, begged all in three minuters. I get in my car and head to Cabarrete where I met yira waitressing at osheas. First thing she says is she is no punta. She gets off and we go to casino in cabarette. I got hot and won a little money playing poker, I gave her a little for being my good luck charm. She asks if I have hotel, I say yeah in sosua but its a problem there. She grabs my hand leads me to hotel san souci in cabarette pays for the room and attacks me sexually. The next morning she is off work, so we go to seabreeze to change my clothes. As we leave seabreeze the dominican snitch pulls up on his motoconcho using my sosua name (.). I tell yira wait in car and I tell him to never come near me again. Hes talking all this amigo shit, but me and yira leave for cabarette. Stayed with yira that day.

Overall good trip.

Thanks for the info and keep the reports coming. I wondered if the economy had effected mongers going down. I am thinking about a trip over the Super Bowl. It depends on the job situation.

I'll be in Sousa in April 09 and plan to make day trips to Puerto Plata and a extended 3 to 4 days to Santo Domingo

Researched the bus transport and either Caribe tours or MetroSt is what I'll go with, with Metro being my first choice to due less stops

My questions:

1) Passport requirements traveling by bus to SD. Carry my oringinal or will copies be sufficent?

2) When in Sousa are you required to carry your Passport while out?

3) If anyone has taken a bus to SD where is the last stop the bus makes?

I know the pick up point in Sousa is the Texaco station for the Metro.

Is this also the drop off point for trips coming to Sousa?

Thanks for the help

I was checking out a flight into SDQ that arrives at 3:10AM. Other than the arrival time it's pretty good, on price and connections. I was wondering if having gotten my entry card and luggage and passed customs by 4:30 AM, should I assume I can just get a taxi into the Carribe station in SD - where I'd arrive at about 5:30, just right to get a ticket and get on the 6AM bus to Sosua?

What's the taxi fair SDQ into town and would you forsee any issues with doing this at 4:30 in the morning? Is the Carribe station open 24hrs?

No it's not. In fact, if you understand what GDP is. If not don't worry about it because I don't need to lecture about economic to an idiot. There are at least 10 countries that have lower GDP than DR in Central, south America and Caribbean (this does not include few African countries that also fall under WESTERN Hemisphere) Jamaica, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Paraguay, Suriname, Uruguay, El Salvador, Panama, Haiti, Suriname, Belize. Etc and list goes on!
For the curious, here’s the 2007 data from the World Bank:
Per Capital GDP (nominal)
#52. Uruguay ($6,956)
#59. Panama ($5,908)
#63. Costa Rica ($5,653)
#68. Suriname ($4,893)
#72. Belize ($4,191)
#75. Jamaica ($4,012)
#80. Dominican Republic ($3,762)
#81. Colombia ($3,729)
#88. Ecuador ($3,312)
#91. El Salvador ($2,950)
#98. Guatemala ($2,505)
#107. Paraguay ($1,961)
#110. Honduras ($1,732)
#116. Guyana ($1,413)
#124. Nicaragua ($1,013)
#144. Haiti ($638)

I believe the taxi fare is 25-30 dollars. Santo Domingo has rush hour traffic, so you may hit a little traffic, but I doubt much before 6am.

NowrathI usually rent a car, so I usually carry my passport with me for that. Once out of the airport I have never been asked to show my passport, except when checking into a hotel. I have not taken the bus in Dom. Rep., I have dropped off various chicas at the bus and I have never seen the driver ask them for identification. I believe the metro drops off at the same point in sosua, at the texaco station. You don't need your passport while out in Sosua. I have a friend who took both the metro and caribe tours from santo domingo to sosua, so if you need additional info pm me.

Yeah I think I went there twice. Is it a place where the girls are all hangimg outside. And a pond or sometype of water is down the hill. About 5 of us pulled up on the scooters and got the 'gringo price" girls said something like 50 us for a bunch of hags. We left and they acted like we had some balls for just stopping by. Not gringo friendly.

Anyone been to or know of this place? Frankie down by the beach was trying to convince me to go, says its a local *****house halfway between sosua and puerto plata.I don't know that one. There used to be a bar before cabarete coming from sosua, on the left hand side of the road. (maybe it is still there) It had a cement arch that you drove under and then parking on the left. It had what looked like a stage and a bar closer to where you parked with cement bench type seating. In the back they had small bungalows where the girls lived. I went to this place twice probably 4 years ago. You could fuck the girls in their rooms. I had one girl show me her room. No doorknob on the door, just a padlock. One large mattress in a square room. Two girls shared the room. I saw a package of antibiotics laying about so that turned me off. This bar had one of the nastiest bathrooms I have seen. It was a concrete trough urinal with a pipe in the middle for the drain. No toilet, no running water. They had a couple of cute girls there. When I was there I saw mostly local dudes hanging out there. My friend who is dominican took one of the girls out to cabarete one day. Seems the girls were almost like slaves. They were only allowed to leave the premises for a few hours everyday.

Well, Classico's at least. Classico's Disco is to Sousua what Help Disco is to Rio de Janeiro. I was there with two other guys both Friday and Saturday. You might have seen us staked out on the upper deck on the right hand side soon after you walk in.

I don't know if that is the VIP section or not, but we sure turned it in to one. Had a gang of chicas with us both nights. I had this little blanca spinner on Saturday (if you saw her with me, she had the red pants on, long hair, and halter top), but babe didn't have her I.D. on her, could not find her amiga who was holding it for her, so I could not take her back with us to BB's. :(

I ended up having to leave her there and rotate her out for another chica. My heart is still broken since...

Look for my reports in the POP section about my 4 day stay at BB's in a few days. Just got back to sex prison, so I need a few days to decompress, and let reality kick in that I am no longer in DR...

P.S. MIA International is one big huge cluster-fuck on the return to the USA. Can't be avoided though...

NowrathI have done Caribe Tours Sosua <> Santo Domingo several times and there is no problem. Metro I have done only once, and I wouldn't do it again. Okay it has less stops, but it isn't faster. The End station in Santo Domingo is really out of the center and you well get into traffic jam on the way to center. So at the end you need more time. I like Caribe Tours, as it has a stop in Santiago, where you can go out for a cigarette and eat some food. Caribe leaves more often from and to Sosua. A passport you didn't need, but I would advice, make a copy of your passport and keep it always with you. I do this in all the country's where I travel or work. I never had any problem with Caribe Tours and doing my next trip in January.

But as you get out of the Airport around 4 or even earlier, I would advice you to take a drink or so and not leaving to early from the airport. But I can't say how the traffic is at this time and how fast you are at caribe Tours, but I can ask my friend, if you like.

Maybe its more for locals and gringos would not be welcome. Curious nevertheless. FITSI have been to Rio Verde twice. It's nothing to write home about. We pulled a table and chairs away from the bar to get away from the deafening music. The girls that I saw were maybe a 5s, however my friends said they gave a good blow job. No one gave us any problems, but we went with a guy who visited on prior occassions.

I remember it being right before a green bridge on the highway (coming from the direction of Sosua heading to POP). You would miss it if you blinked.

I heard about the place in Cabarete. It was located right before the Esso? gas station in Cabarete. I have heard that it closed down, however I had a guy tell me that one is still open at the location. A chica friend of mine told me that many chicas can be found there. Can anyone confirm this or I guess I can check it out on my next visit.

I was there this past October. If you leave PP heading to Sosua you come to a small bridge crossing the river. I believe the area is called Cangrejo. Just as you pass the bridge there is an entrance on your left side and a place called Cafe Verde which sits back off of the road. I didn't see anything that suited my tastes, but some might like it.

-SP-I have friends that have traveled through Miami International Airport (MIA), they hate it. Really long walks between terminals, with security every five minutes asking for passport and boarding pass. From New York, I usually try to connect through San Juan, if I can't get a direct flight. San Juan is a pleasant little airport. The last time I was in Santo Domingo Airport my flight was delayed over 5 hours because of a storm in New York. The restaurant inside near the terminals ran out of most items on the menu. Santo Domingo Airport had free wifi inside and a room for smokers.

No silly, she could not find her cousin who was holding her I.D. We circled the club twice looking for them, but I just assumed they left without her after I pluck her from their group. She had asked about 3 different groups of girls, but they all said they hadn't seen her cousin. She then went downstairs to go look.

They finally showed up, but I had already took another girl. They (plus red pants) were all looking at me, but I pretended to not have noticed her (but I could sense her stare burning a hole in the side of my forehead). As we were leaving she was downstairs waiting for me, but what was I going to do at that point? The girl I had switched out for her had all ready given me the middle finger because I ditched her for red pants initially. I got the chance to smooth things out with her, so I would've looked like a total jerk ditching her again now that red pants had gotten her ID.

I bet she'll learn to keep the damn thing in her next time...

Yes, and to add insult to injury the effing computer system went down for about 40 minutes. I can understand all of the buffers to keep people who aren't supposed to be here out, but at least make it pleasant for those of us who do belong here.

I literally had to go through the first check point, go down stairs, grab my luggage, go through another check point and explain to the agent why I was in DR (vacation), told to follow the "yellow dots", give my bag to a guy so that they can put the damn thing back on the airplane again, empty out all of my carry-on shit, plus my pockets, belt, etc., through the metal detector, and then once more through a line that makes you show your boarding pass.

And to top it all off, the friggin pizza place was all out of pepperoni...for the rest of the night!

And then my flight gets delayed 45 minutes...looking forward to doing it all again in March. Yay :(

Guys,

Thanks for all the info concerning Metro and Caribe At the Texaco station is where you board both buses correct?

And since I read people line up to board and there is a limited amount of seats. Say I want the 8:00 am bus to Santo Domingo, what get there at 7:30, buy my ticket and wait in line for that bus?

Also I have a friend that is coming in from Santiago de los caballeros by bus.

My apartment is about 4 blocks from the Texaco station

One poster says the caribe stops in Charmiacos with a taxi to Sousa.

I was thinking she could take whatever bus stops at the Texaco and meet her there. Any other info would be great

Thanks in advance

NowrathHola Nowrath

Metro Stops a leaves from the Texaco Sation and Caribe Tours from Cheramicos on the main road, there is also the office to get your ticket. From and to cheramicos you can take a motoconcho or a Taxi. If you be there about a half hour before there will be no problem getting a ticket and you seat. As they only selling as much seats as they have for the hole trip. I never had any problem getting a seat. Caribe leaves from Sosua mostly at 20 past a hour.

Nowrath

You board the metro bus at the Texaco gas station in sosua also called (la bomba), and you board the caribe tour bus in Los Charamicos, but you can easily get there by moto. The metro and caribe tours buses are big they have like 50 seats or something like that. I would show up 15 minutes prior to the depature of the bus.
If your friend from santiago wants to meet you at the gas station in Sosua she can either take the metro bus directly to Sosua or she can use the caribe tours bus to charamicos and then take a moto to the Texaco gas station in the center of Sosua.

Just got back from Sosua and like to say the reports were great in aiding me. Let just say the first night I did not even make it inside Classico's, being a veteran monger; you would think I would know better. This place was better than expected and seen alot of guys that were on my plane hanging out. First night I did a spinner around 5"10 and I can not for the life of me remember names this trip set back 1500 pesos (45US).

Beginning of Day 2 I decided to do 2 chicks at a 1000 peso(33US) apiece that say they are sisters. They could not take dick very well.
Early in the afternoon went to La Passions and they suggested I come back there were only Four girls there and really none to my liking. They informed me that the majority of girls come around 4 p.m.

Returned to La Passions later and it had several doable girls but I did not take anyone. Left and went to Merengue bar and then Classico's. Classico's very nice set up and women. Dance with several and then choose one to take back and do which set me back 1200 pesos (35US).

Day 3: Hit the beach and eat. Take a ride out to Blackbeards on Peurta Plata and really did not like the lack of party atmosphere for it being a saturday at 8 p.m. Left and went to Cristal's but found the girls to be too pricey at roughly 150.00 american dollars when I am paying roughly only 33 and 45 US dollars. Head back to Sosua immediately. Went to Latino's for drinks and then to Classico's. Left for a quick short term at 1000 pesos (33US) and came back out to view Club X. Really did not vibe this spot to many local guys.

Day 4: Did four chicks two at 1000 pesos, two 1500 pesos both stayed all night.

Day 5: Too spent to do the two that was with me until leaving for my plane. Overall I like the place and will return soon due to price and time.

"best way to keep her from snitching is to f*ck her". Hehe.

Same thing happened to me with the dr moto guys. They are not your friends! They despise the fact you're screwing their women. Guards too. It took me awhile to figure out how the girls knew my every move. And its because of those snitches. I'm goin to la vega and Sosua for Carnival in Feb.

Just catch a cab, they are all safe $20, Just when you leave onto the main road make sure they turn left and youll be ok!... better yet split it somehow by meeting somebody at the baggage claim or on the plane going to Sosua... La Union(POP) is about 5 miles to Sosua.

I have not been to the DR since 2005 and want to know the cost of street girls or girls from bars. I never go to Black Beards or any like clubs as I like to find girls on my own and stay independent and flexible. Plus I believe they tend to be less expensive and less road weary.

I usually have a girl come to my hotel room in the afternoon or evening for a couple of hours but never spend the night. Just get down to business and maybe develop a recurring relationship. I would usually be in Sosua, Barahona or a little town called Sanchez. Starting cold I usually want a BBBJ and do not fuck her until we go to the clinic together and get a test for AIDs and STDs. Previously I would pay between $15 to $20 U. S. For between 1 to 2 hours, and it worked out pretty well with alternating girls during the week which left us both with a lot of freedom and flexibility.

I always told the girls that I like to come twice and that we had a 2 hour window for the set price. I often came twice within the hour but sometimes longer and in between the sex she would give me a massage or we would doze or watch tv.

Have the prices, or expectations changed much in the last few years? Any updated information would be helpful. Thanks.

RI take it you don't like condoms. Please understand that when you and a chica go get tested that usually means monogomy. No chica is going to get tested without a commitment. BBBJ are cool if thats all you want, but I will tell you a secret for fucking. I've learned not to struggle with condoms, give it to the girl they can put it on with their mouth, hands, etc. Its like putting on make up with them, it comes naturally. This isn't 2005 you have to adapt your game, open your mind to the possibilities and let it come to you. LOL

There are some good places with reasonable 1BR rates that can get you side by side. Don-Antonios ($30 each 1BR + $5 AC) and SeaBreeze ($40 w/AC if you reserve) Hotel Orchidee ($35 each).

Since you don't say why you want the 2BR's its still difficult to tell what you really want. Do you have a wingman that you want to be available for some kinky shit, or what. Do tell!

The only thing keeping me from booking my March trip is trying to find out the difference between New Garden and Plaza Europa.

-Which is the closest to the action?

-Which is less noisy than the other?

-Is it true women come to hang around New Garden's hotel?

I am reading the boards. I am actually all the way in 2006 (page 180) working my way back up to present day. In 2006 Europa seemed like the place to be at. I take it New Garden came a year or two afterwards?

To keep from clogging up the boards you can PM me the info if you'd like. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

NG-

Friendly staff
Good location
Chicas around the pool in the afternoon
Not so quiet (never stayed in the new wing)
Nice crowd of mongers
Pool/Pool bar
* Does not come through 100% with reservations Ie. You are told one thing then get another when you arrive...same with europa!

Europa-

Staff(minus the dominicans) not as friendly but somewhat pleasant.
Quiet rooms if you get the ones in back otherwise you risk motoconcho noise or music from nearby beer bars.
Chicas hanging out in front on a swinging couch
Guests not as friendly as NG
Better price than NG
Pool/ Pool bar

Both are close to the action. March is a busy season so get on it as soon as you can.

IMHO I enjoyed the europa better than NG but I missed the crowd at the NG.

I would recommend you specify exactly what you are looking for when you make your reservation. Also mention you will leave if it isn't what you asked for.

You did a very accurate comparison.

Just wanted to add. For daytime action in bars the Europa has the 4 Roses next door and is also closer to Passions. The night action (discos) though is closer to the NG. Granted you can take motor concha at night to Europa.

Also, the last time I was at Europa they did not have the restauarant open so I dont know if that has changed. The NG has decent food on premise.

Cant go wrong with either place. Enjoy!

New Garden's new wing is very quiet. The old wing is very nosiy. And in the dozens of times I've stayed there, there has always been chicas around the pool during the day and a better crop come by in the late afternoon and early evening and hang around the bar or in the rocking chairs nearby. Quality varies but there are some semi-regulars and always new faces.

You can buy an instant over-the-counter HIV test at the pharmacy next to the Texaco gas station. Can't remember the price. Maybe 500 pesos. You just prick you finger (no, don't finger your prick) and put a drop of blood onto a reagent strip and wait about a minute. It comes with instructions. Quite a good idea if you want to have a chica for more than a single encounter. Of course, it won't tell you if she has syphilis, but then that is easily treatable.

Rover2 regardless if Mr. Gogo has confuse you with another monger. You stated yourself that you have been going to Sosua for about 5 years now and don't go there to bareback anyone. Hey I applaud you on that, but lets remember one thing, this is a SPORT we all enjoy. Some people like football or baseball, but this sport can, as we all know kill you. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to beat on you, but I don't really believe a chica in DR is going to let you test her for HIV before you go to work on her unless she's your personal and you intended to marry her to take her back to the USA. Lets remember that these girls on average are sleeping with 3 to 6 mongers per week or more.

I also have been going to exotic destinations over the last 6 years and have went bareback twice..........yea I know I broke the rules and yes I was paranoid for a few months. After that encounter I stated that I would never go back to doing this high risk sport, but after 4 months I went back for more using a condom of course.

1. Don't kiss her.
2. Don't get a bareback BJ.
3. Always use a condom.
4. I'm sorry but # 1 & 2 are very hard for me to live up to.

This is a sport has risks and benefits, those 3 minute test don't prove a thing especially if it's a new infection.

Very interessing.

Would it be possible to have the name of the test and wich pharmacetical is producing this test would google it to know information about the accurancy of this test.I don't know, but I believe they are identical in appearance to this one:

http://www.idiagnosticsco.com/blood-test-kit.html

The company also says:

"Coming soon...test for HIV, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C in the same simple format that has made our HIV tests so popular. Like our HIV tests, results are obtained visually in about 10 minutes. Though we are currently still in development for this product, we expect it to sell for around $30."

Of course there will always be those who will say that there is no guarantee that such tests are accurate, properly stored, not expired etc., etc. but then that is always the case.

The risk of HIV tranmission by vaginal sex from woman to man is relatively slight, and I would imagine the risk from a woman who had tested negative on one of these tests would be even less, but no sex is completely risk free and possible adverse reactions include fatherhood, sudden cardiac death, and psychological impairments including sex addiction and pussyphobia. Skull fractures may occur when head crushed between thighs.

4. I'm sorry but # 1 & 2 are very hard for me to live up to.There have been multiple studies regarding the risks of BBBJ and the contraction of HIV. In summary there has never been a documented case of HIV transmission in this manner. Other nasty STD transmissions, yes, but most all are curable.

Read about the topic here, educate yourselves, and decide for yourself using the facts. Some will even poo-poo the results and it is each individuals prerogative to do so.

If you do find the competing website where this information comes you will see other valuable hobby-ing Health information that most here would also like to know about. Hint: the site is called “Redb…”.

II/ A CLINICAL Study On Oral Sex And Transmission Of Diseases
http://www.aidsmap.com/news/newsdisplay2.asp?newsId=1483

The last paragraph states, "In total almost 19,000 instances of unprotected oral sex were estimated to have occurred involving the 135 couples over the ten years of the study, but not a single case of HIV transmission was detected. The study authors conclude that: “this seems to point to a very low probability of HIV transmission related to this practice.”

EDITOR'S SUGGESTION: This is interesting, but you might consider re-posting it under the Safe Sex topic in the Special Interests section of the Forum where it will benefit the Forum Members who are specifically looking for this type of information. Thanks!

BBBJ is widely accepted and the girls use it as a bargaining chip to charge more money. The German health organizations have no problems with it as long as the current scientific data indicates it is not health threatening otherwise.

And by the way… Where this hobby is legal, try visiting an FKK in Germany. BBBJ is widely accepted and the girls use it as a bargaining chip to charge more money. The German health organizations have no problems with it as long as the current scientific data indicates it is not health threatening otherwise.

The test will only present a snapshot prior to any incubation period for the virus. Always wear a condom. Also, all std's aren't treatable with meds rersulting 100% lifetime cure.I agree, I have had a few chicas that wanted me to slide it in without condom. I have been tempted a few times. STD'S and AIDS is one concern, the other is getting some chica pregnant. I have read posts here, that stated a Dominican woman with a child with a foreign guy, can go to the Dominican government, and request that the father of the child not be allowed to leave the country until he has met financial obligations with the mother of the child.

I have known guys who worry about leaving a a used condom in the trash can filled with sperm, for fear a crazy chica might try to impregnate herself, with the sperm from the used condom.

I usually have some Purell sanitizer or antibacterial Wet Ones in the bathroom, that I use when I am a little paranoid to clean myself afterward. Listerine, I also bring for the chicas with the bad breath.

Some chicas take the birth control pill, which I believe they can buy over the counter without a prescription. Not sure how easy or affordable abortions are in the Dominican Republic.

Hi all,

I'm headed for POP and Sosua next week to scuba dive and get out of the cold for a few days. And while I'm not going specifically to pay for booty, I'm open to sampling what the town has to offer.

Here's my issue, though. And I know I'm leaving myself open to flaming, but I've never been in such a "high-volume" environment, and I definitely have no experience with the hustle and slick negotiation with this kind of chicks.

So I'm not asking for a complete education here, you veterans have no time for that. But how about a word or two of advice for me, huh? Where's the best place to go for a novice? Where should I certainly *NOT* go? I'd really rather not get robbed or my throat slit.

Appreciate all responses. I'll be there Saturday. Thanks a lot!

Blackbeard's Resort in Puerto Plata. It's the best place to get "spoon-fed" punting. You don't have to worry about getting ripped-off because they have a set pricing structure.

Costambar (where Blackbeard's is located) is in a gated community, so there is no worries about being mugged and such.

I had a blast while there, but I am upgrading to Sosua for my next trip in order to compare the two side by side.

PM me if you have any questions.

So far I have not seen anything stating were they or the women are located.

What if you are in POP and the girl you are looking at is in Santo Domingo? You have no way of knowing which of these girls are available in your area.

Did I miss that info? Has anyone else found anything stating where this company, and/or the women are located on the island?

...But how about a word or two of advice for me, huh?

1) If you don’t speak the language, make sure the girl understands you pay after the service is rendered. Stand your ground always as there are lots of fish in the seas.
2) Make sure the girl understands beforehand if you insist on any bearback oral service.
3) Make sure before any price negotiations the girl understands you will be visiting for a long time. The light in her head will click on that there might be more dates after this initial one so she may you over you extra good, but never insinuate this to her.
4) By a phone for $25 at the large Playero market off the main hwy so that you can contact the girls you liked at a different time. You will need your passport to get registered for the phone. Get a fluent Spanish speaker to help you with this if you must. The phones can be switched back over to English language via the menu.
5) Day or night always know everybody that is around you for your own safety.
6) Never carry more money or documents with you that you don’t have to have while on the street or away from the hotel. Keep those locked up in your rooms hotel lockbox safe.
7) *Ask other gringo mongers while at the bar which girls to avoid or to go after.
8) Smiles go a long way and show then show respect with your eyes. Go out of your way to be non-confrontational if things start to feel sour.
9) There is lot of debate where to change your money. I still stand my ground that the local bank teller machines give the most competitive rates. They function in English. The guys changing money on the streets may pull a fast one on the real green tourists.
10) Bring your own condoms and sexual supplies.
11) Bring small gifts for the special girls.
12) Never get in a cab until after the driver gives you a price. Ask the hotel what the taxi price should be first. Write the number on a piece of paper with the location. I like to undercut the hotel recommended price by 10% then overpay by 10% to cover the tip.
13) Never take a taxi that is in front of any tourist area. Walk away to quieter busy areas.
14) Don’t walk around looking like you have money or valuables on you.

Appreciate all responses. I'll be there Saturday. Thanks a lot!Sosua is small and generally safe. Classicos has chicas starting around 10 p.m., club x is across the street from Classicos, and after Classicos closes there is After One disco about two blocks from Classicos. After you walk around a bit and drink a few beers in different places you will basically know the scene. There are some pleasant, honest working girls there. As other members have stated stay away from the pushy tigresas.

Not sure what hotel you will be using and whether your hotel is chica friendly. If your hotel is not chica friendly, then there are places you can use, like calypso hotel. I have been out drinking in sosua until 6 a.m. and never had any bad problems. Beware of pickpockets. I usually don't get chummy with the motoconcho drivers, there used to be chubby motoconcho driver who used to yell and stop everytime he saw me, trying to sell drugs.

Passions Massage is ok, assortment of chicas, you can sit there and drink beers and watch the girls, or do a massage with one of the girls. Snorkeling around the Sosua Bay Hotel and Victorian House is not bad. There are a few places on Sosua Beach where snorkeling is good. Even experienced mongered sometimes choose a bad chica, but generally most of the chicas there are O.K. If you know a little spanish that is helpful. If your spanish is non-existent, then try to confirm the price with the chica before you exit with her. Have her write it down on a piece of paper. You can usually find someone to help with translation. Most of the time I pay the chica afterward, some chicas demand payment up front, that to me is usually a bad sign.

The chicas will ask for from 2000 to 3000 pesos (which is like 60 to 90 dollars). Just anout everything in the Dominican Republic is negotiable.

Before they opened After One, I used to head over to the disco in the Playa Chiquita Casino, when Classicos closed for the night. I guess the late night (after curfew time) places in Sosua are Club X and the disco in Playa Chiquita Casino.

Sosua's regular bar closing times have been changed to 3AM weekdays and 4AM weekends so the semi-monopoly of After One (and it'd reason to exist) was lost.

IMHO, it does not matter where you go. Learn some Spanish, relax, take your time, and develop some rapport with the girl. As with anything, proceed only if you feel comfortable. If you get bad vibes, let it go.

I have travelled to several countries alone and utilize this. It has saved me.

Practically no asians, although a very few number of girls have some asian features. Big girls, tall girls, skinny girls. The tourist chicas sometimes hang out at Classicos and the other bars, so occasionally you will see blonde hair, blue eyes girls and other white girls. The working girls are predominantly latin, although I did meet one white working girl from England a few year ago in Sosua. Most of the girls are medium to dark skinned. If you want to see pictures from bars and clubs in the Dominican Republic, there are other sites that have photos for free, Bonche.com, Bufeo.com. Ilovesosua.com has various free photos that will give you a flavor of the chicas in Sosua.

Don't know about Rick`s Bar i am only aware of Rock`s bar which is in the same street as the new garden hotel. Rocky only offeres every basic rooms which will cost you round about 25 dollars per night.

The don andres is owned by dutch people and is right behind the AI place called Casa Marina Reef. Everything is in walking distance and out of the 3 places i think it is the best choice.

Keep in mind there are other places such as the new garden hotel, hotel europa or casa valeria which are right in the center of sosua and round about in the same price range.

That's a clever marketing strategy; talk shit about the competition!Haha. I think that it is silly to believe that one ethnicity performing the same sexual services in the same city, will have a different infection rate than another.

It kind of reminds me of my old 'girlfriend' way back in the day in Sosua. We broke up and I was with another girl. She got word to me via her friend to 'stay away from that girl...she has HIV'. This worried me so I asked the girl, who just happened to have a recent HIV test (negative).

The only difference I see between the Dominicans and the Hatians is the level of poverty, and hence hygiene is generally lower with the Hatians. that and the haitian girls tend to be better educated and speak multiple languages.

I have walked past Hotel Don Andres a few times. Seems like a nice place with a pool. Other members have stated that it is chica friendly. Hotel Don Andres is about 3-4 blocks from Classicos. I would suggest that your email various places and ask them about availability. Coco Hotel I imagine is in the direction of Playa Chiquita Casino, maybe near to Hotel Voramar. If you choose one of these hotels, going in the direction of Playa Chiquita Casino, you would be closer to Passions massage. From those hotels into the center of Sosua is a bit of a walk. I haven't used a motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) in Sosua in a while, but I guess the cost of a motoconcho ride from there (Voramar Hotel), to classicos should be no more than 50 pesos (about 1. 25 U. S. Dollar or less)

Around that corner is a cool little cigar bar, and two more, one on each side of the street. As far back as 2 years, these have all been open. Jody at Jolly Roger sold to some new owners that are doing a nice job, and Jody took the Hideaway that seems to stay busy.

You have Shark Bar, SeaCrets and 4 Roses, and the bars next to and across the street from 4 Roses, then further down theres LaPassions, and a bit further is a new one called Cuba Libre. These are all on Pedro Clisante, it doesn't consider the multitude of other options on Alejo Martinez, and a few smattered in on the streets connecting the two.

You also have Orchidee open now, along with SeaBreeze, and add in Paraiso, Don Andres, Don-Antonio, New Garden, Rocky's, Europa, Valeria and I think you see where I'm going.

I have stayed in Santo Domingo and Santiago extensively, driving my own vehicle to those cities from my home outside of Sosua. Then out to Samana several times and I have noooooooooooo idea of how many times out into el campo for days and days. I have fished outside of three ports there, speared fish and shellfish, pulled water out of village wells and have fucked the same girls in CR as I have in DR. Dominicanas in CR and DR have taken me to their villages in DR several times without hesitation. I have been the only white guy for miles around many many times. The food and hospitality has always been terrific. I have never had a problem in any place I have been in that country as I speak excellent Spanish and have taken the time and effort to learn the culture and treat people with respect. That is the culture one would never learn in Sosua.

So punk, tell me something I don't know about DR. There are however, other places in the world.

I have never had a problem in any place I have been in that country as I speak excellent Spanish and have taken the time and effort to learn the culture and treat people with respect.
Again, so what's with the "can't stand them" anger? Sounds like a man who has been burnt by a few Dominican firecrackers.

So punk, tell me something I don't know about DR.
Punk? Its amazing how technology allows small men with big words to hide behind the veil of the Internet.

Tranquilo, hermano. The comments were not a personal attack, but rather a blanket generalization.

Coco Hotel is a good bit away, but they have a nice trail from the back of the hotel to essentially a private beach. Very nice, rooms are basic, but staff is very nice.

Check with Obie at Don-Antonio, right on top of the action, decent rooms, good price and nice pool. Funny how so few mention it, but I've stayed there twice, and always have a great stay.I never noticed the Hotel Don Antonio while I was in Sosua. Appears that it is located om the main street (that goes to Cabarete and the airport) and across from the Texaco station. From their website, double rooms with refrigerator for 25 U.S. dollars. Appears it is about one block from Classicos. You stayed there twice, was there a lot of noise from the main street in the rooms?

Appears they have rooms with small kitchens. Curious as to what they charge for air conditioning and then the 16% tax has to be added.

Someone put a video of this hotel on youtube. There are numerous videos of Sosua on youtube.

There is "street meat" right outside the door, chicken, pork, hot dogs, everything at great prices and I die for the grilled chicken. I get a whole chicken for 250 pesos, 1/2 for me, and the other half feeds about 4 chicas.

I'd take the $25 room, +5 for A/C, and tax. It runs about $40.

However that being said, after a night out of drinking, a good chicken is worth its weight in gold.

I have been to Sosua once and most likely would like to visit again sometime next year. I have posted before and got several good feedback.

This time I want to be more prepared and educated.

Last time I visited I found several attractive girls working as waitresses or working in some shop in Sosua. I was not sure whether they are available or not.

Also one girl who was working in a bar accepted several drinks from me but nothing beyond that even when I tried.

I would like some experienced person to reply and tell whether it is safe to approach any girl who work in or around the main street (Pedro Cisante or something) or we must make sure before approaching.

I stayed there and got to stay in a double room and a single with a kitchenette. The double is just a room with 2 beds in it.

The bathroom is bigger in the double and there is more room in the double, the single kitchenette room I stayed in had a bigger bed but there wasnt as much room to walk around, and bathroom was smaller. It seemed smaller.

Not sure if that helps. I paid 34 a night and that included AC which is 5 dollars extra. If you email them through the site they'll give you a rate that includes taxes. I don't think I paid taxes now that I look back at the emails. Its a good place and you won't be paying more than 40 bucks a night.

Basically, yes--the wages paid in restaurants, shops, etc. around Sosua are pitifully low and no girl can survive on this alone without obtaining additional funds from men.

However, you should treat them as individuals and not as prostitutes. Actually the same applies to out-and-out hookers. You will do better treating them more as a date than as a paid screw.

So just make some small talk with them, tell them they are very attractive, and ask if they would like to meet with you after work, and see where it goes. Or ask for their phone number.

The decision is, of course, up to them, and they may go with one man who they like and not with another.Sometimes it takes a bit of flirting over a period of days to build a relationship. Usually not. Sometimes you will encounter a girl who is not available, perhaps because she is working in a family business and living at home, but usually not.

Yes, the original price quoted was 500 pesos! We should all realize that gringo prices (especially caucasion gringo prices) are higher. Unless it is totally out of line, I just pay.

If the price just seems totally out of line, or it's cigars, which I like to smoke endlessly down there, I will tell them dominicana precis, no gringo precis. A box of Cohibas started at 2000 pesos, and ended up I got them for 750. There were 20 nice cigars in that box.

In addition, I took my regular "novia" back to the carros, and on the way she wanted a hot dog and a couple of burgers for her children (for heaven's sakes, it was probably her chico, but I don't care), and I paid 80 pesos for each, she gasped and insisted I argue. I just explained that I gladly pay extra as a gringo because it's the Dominican way. She laughed as I told her it is much like the cash I give her too!

Bottom line is, I think it's OK to pay more, they rely on it, but just don't be throwing money around. There has to be a meeting place in the middle that works for both sides.

Yes, I made the mistake of wanting a university student who was working in the family restaurant in Puerto Plata. She even agree to meet me for a date, but did not show. It hit me later that no girl in her right mind, including one that truly needs book money, would go with a visitor out of the family restaurant. I kidded with her latter about being difficult, so as not to appear to be the angry visitor. I lived and learned. I should have used the strategy that I employed to bed my neighbor's daughter one day--I got her off the block, pronto.

Other friends of mine have hooked up with other bartenders in Sosua. I would guess that at least a few of the bartenders are available for pay for play. The chicas who work in the stores and other places, I don't know. Useful if you have a cell phone with you, chat up whatever chica you like and ask her for cell number and see where it goes from there.

Do girls in the area normaly use msn, ICQ or ?I have chatted with a bunch of Dominican chicas using msn messenger. Some Dominican chicas have internet in their homes with cams. Others connect while at work and others use cyber cafes. I have never used the chat rooms (amigos.com is a site with chat rooms). I ask the chicas for their hotmail address to use with msn messenger. There are several free sites where you can contact chicas to get their hotmail address, such as badoo.com, hi5.com or sexyono.com. There are other sites that you have to pay a subscription, such as the international version of match.com and dominicancupid.com.

Well, I'm back from my week in Sosua and here is my report. *ahem*

First of all, Sosua is the funnest fuckin' place on Earth. I'll just toss that out there. Guys, leave the wives at home and get there.

Was gonna stay at Rocky's, decided against it. That turned out to be a good idea, since Rocky's is in a high-traffic, high-noise area, and I understand the rooms are not tip-top. But on the other hand, the food there is great and cheap. Cheapest pizza in town and very good. Eat there, stay somewhere else. I stayed at Coco Hotel. It's a couple of minutes away from the noise and crowds, and it's weak on amenities, but if you're going to Sosua for matching towels and little designer soaps, then you are in the wrong destination. Get to the airport, they're waiting for you. Coco is clean enough, there's a pool, nice staff, a bar with ice on the beer bottles, a path leading to an awesome private beach, and the doors lock. Boom. Done.

Passions. Holy shit. Brown and black girls, all shapes, sizes and attitudes. It's a bar with a stripper pole and a pool. A menu on the bar lists all services, from Thai massage to full service, all on the premises, all with the girl of your choice. If you reject the advances of a couple of chicks, and just sit back and watch the room, they'll leave you alone. I got completely hypnotized by a 21-year-old Latin centerfold with D-cups, and she took me back for a very slow, very firm, very oily full-body rub and deep BJ that ended with her big round cans all messy. No rush, very girlfriendy, hands all over the place, warm kisses. She washed me up head-to-toe in a shower down the hall, and sent me on my way. Almost two hours. 1000 pesos. I tipped her half that. She was VERY grateful.

The bars after 10 or 11 PM are an assault on the senses. Just walking the sidewalk is a midway experience that's alone worth the trip to the DR. Girls outnumber guys 10 to 1 easily, and they're all smiley and grabby and come-hither. Not in an overly-aggressive way (mostly) but in a goodtime fun way. The Dominican chicks are very pretty, with dark eyes and smooth dark skin. The Haitian girls seem a bit more desperate, and crank up the slutty factor a notch or two. The spectrum. From short skirts, low-cut sparkly nightclub dresses, to jeans and t-shirts. Careful, there's some ladyboys, but they're fairly obvious. Hilarious.

I didn't partake of any bargirls, but I did learn that the going rate was 2000-3000 pesos maximum for an all-nighter, and that is with a top-calibre, model-quality chick. But then again, I had a very experienced wingman, and a newbie on his own might have to shell out more.

At no time did I feel vulnerable or unsafe. Private security is abundant and visible, and the general atmosphere is festive and fun. I would get a buzz from a few beers and dance at Latinos (plenty of chicks would dance with me, often several at once, great fun and awesome music and no pressure. And I'm a shitty dancer, I just enjoyed getting out there and having a good time in the lights and music). Just sitting with a beer and watching the ass parade is fun, too.

The beach is nice, the food is great, the beer is plentiful, the rooms are cheap, hot-ass girls surround you three-deep whenever you go out at night, and try as I might. I didn't see a single snow plow, not a single city bus, not a single Starbucks, and not ONE bitchy. Nagging woman. Not one.

OK, that's my stream-of-consciousness report, and I know I omitted many things, but fuck it. I have too many fond memories to do them justice here.

When can I go back?

I was wondering if someone could post detailed instructions on how to activate your prepaid phone in DR with Claro. I am mostly speaking to those who bring their prepaid phones with them to DR, not the ones who purchase them while there.

If this has been posted before then please direct me to the original post or PM. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

-SavePros321-Very easy. Verizon here is like Claro there, and AT&T here is like Orange there. Most Orange and Att (AT&T) phones use sim cards. Most verizon and claro cards do not have sim cards. I know one girl who had an At&T motorola razor with a sim card from here and she activated it to use with Claro. Claro and Orange are the two bigger cell phone companies in DR.

I have activated older (from Verizon here) Lg, Motorola (v60) and newer Samsung (sch-u340) phones in DR. In Sosua I used a small cell phone shop that is across the street from the Seabreeze hotel, it is next door to a cyber cafe/call center (maybe three stores over from the baseball field). Very nice chubby girl works there, sometimes with a guy. I gave her two LG phones from Verizon, which she activated. You should bring your passport along with you when you activate them. The girl activated the phones and wrote the new number on a piece of tape which she stuck to the back of the phone. The new number will also show up on the screen of the phone when you choose Phone Info from the menu. Then I bought a Claro card. Credit card size, paper card wrapped in plastic. They come in 250, 500 pesos denominations. Maybe other denominations. Some places can also sell you minutes using some kind of printout that is on piece of paper and looks like a receipt from a grocery store or lottery ticket printout.

After your phone has been activated, buy a claro card (I never used Orange, probably similar procedure for Orange) (many places sell the Claro cards, bodegas, some pharmacies) open the plastic wrapper and remove the card, on the back of the card is a scratch off part (like the instant lottery scratch offs here) under the scratch off part will be a line of maybe 8 or 10 numbers. You add minutes by dialing (for Claro) something like 1133 and press send, you will hear a recording in spanish, I forget if there is a beep or you just enter the number from the back of the Claro card during the message, it is foolproof, easy and I didn't understand the message. Just type in the number from the back of the Claro card you purchased and that's it, some other message will come on, in spanish, saying you have so and so many minutes.

When your minutes are about to run out from the card you purchased, you will hear a message when you dial a number that says you have so many minutes or seconds for that call. Time to buy a new Claro card and add minutes.

I bought several verizon samsung camera phones (sch-u340, prepaid for verizon) at walmart, 30 dollars and they work fine in Dom Rep. I bought two LG Aloha cell phones on Amazon, real cheap and two places in the Dom Rep where unable to program that phone. Supposedly each cell phone has some kind of code and to reprogram it to work in the Dom Rep, the people there need to know the code. They did not know the code for the LG Aloha, so I would stay away from the LG aloha phone for the Dom Rep. I would imagine most popular phones from here, they have the codes for.

I paid about 20 dollars to activate a samsung camera phone in santo domingo at the carrefour department store. The place in Sosua I don't remember paying for activation, but I was with a friend so maybe he paid. Usual activation charge is about 20 dollars.

Many Dominican chicas want the latest greatest cell phone. It is like a fashion statement to them. I really could care less what my cell looks like. But for Dom Rep, you may not want to use a 600 dollar cell phone. On my last trip a friend of mine went to the 24 hour bar named Caperinha, in Sosua at around 4 am and he had one of the Samsung phones (he stayed there alone, I was busy with some chica) and he got drunk and the next day came staggering into the hotel at 11 am, with no phone. I called the number of the cell that morning and some chica answered, she said she got the phone as a gift and that she was in Santo Domingo. Lying sack of sh_t, she or one of friends pilfered it from my friend. 30 dollar phone, no biggy. So for Dom Rep I use inexpensive cells. The older Lg's I have still work, but they were kind of big and bulky, one with a cracked screen, the motorola v60 the battery would die super fast, so I replaced them with the samsungs. Easy too if a group of friends traveling together use the same model phone, so that you don't have to bring many wall or car chargers. I am unmarried, so I get the task of storing the cell phones my married friends use in Dom Rep and the task of transporting them in my luggage, no problem. Any questions let me know.

A couple of us will be in Sosua for a week starting Jan 22nd. At Rocky's for a few days then moving down the street to Don Andres. If anyone wants to hook up for a beer just send me a PM. Besides the mongering our daily activities will include: La Pasion, daily drinking at Herman's on the beach and nightly hunting at the discos.

Hi there guys.

Someone here, who can give a report about how it is to stay in Sosua during christmas time and New Year?

MB

I arrived in Sosua on the 1st of January and the nightlife was the worst I'd seen it in the 30+ times I've been in Sosua. Few chicas and no talent. Even more so than x-mas, the chicas spend New year's Day with the family. Tried to stop and eat in Maimon and never saw such a zoo. Same for the reaturants in Puerto Plata. Every restaurant filled with families. The night of the 2nd was much better as chicas showed up looking for money as they had spent it all over the holiday.

Dude, you went above and beyond the call of duty! Thank you!

I am going to move this to the "Reports of Distinction" thread because you've pretty much settled the "cell phone process" confusion once and for all.

I am even going to print this up to take with me on my next trip. Thanks once again!

Thanks once again!Thanks.

What I meant to say is that most Claro and Verizon phones do not have sim cards (however, I have been told that phones with sim cards can be programmed to work with Claro). Additionally, the phones I used had caller i.d., text messaging and voicemail, this appears to be basic on all cell phones in dom rep.

I never checked my voicemail while using a cell phone activated in the Dominican Republic. I don't know what my password is. I am not sure if a default password is assigned to the cell phone when it is activated.

Maybe someone else knows how the initial setup of voicemail works on a newly activated cell phone in dom rep?

The initial or default password to listen your voice mails, might be the last four digits of the phone number. You may want to ask the girl when she activates your phone, how to access voicemail. If the default password for voicemail is the last four digits of the cell phone number, this could be troublesome, a jealous type chica being able to access your voicemails from another cell phone.

I am fairly certain that Claro and Orange cards are not interchangeable. That if you activate a cell for use on Claro that you have to use Claro cards (same for Orange). People in Dom Rep have their opinions about claro and orange, some say you get more time with orange, others say that claro has better reception, I don't know.

I believe incoming calls are free, so you may experience a chica who calls you and tells you to call her back, so that she can conserve her minutes and make you use your minutes. I have had chicas call me and ask me to buy them a card and tell them the code, so that they can replenish their minutes.

I stayed at the Barcello Capella in Juan Dolio and close by this hotel was a small restaurant that had attached to it a small grocery store. While in the store I ask the girl that I needed minutes for my cell phone, she asked me how much in pesos I wanted to spend, I said to her "cinco cien", I was trying to say 500. 500 in spanish is "quinientos". The cashier girl printed out 5, (100) peso receipts with codes to use to add minutes to my cell phone. I had a Claro phone and this is another method whereby you can add minutes to the phone.

With Claro I don't know.

Has anybody noticed that New Garden has updated their website since adding the second wing to the hotel?

Who has stayed their recently? I noticed that there is reference to a Bikini contest… with photos! I start to think that NG is trying to steal a page from the Black Beards customer appreciation manual.

The website says in June there was a contest and implies it may be an ongoing thing. Can anybody validate that they have seen one?

I was just there for 4 days and have been there monthly since June and can report no further bikini contests. That contest was actually put on by members of another board with the cooperation of Wilfred and Lorenzo. They have been full up for weeks and really don't need the extra curriculars to increase popularity.

... and really don't need the extra curriculars to increase popularity.

It is not used to increase popularity...

Black Beards uses it to make more money.

They charge the girls to be in the contest so that the girls can market themselves, then make more money on bar drinks, and the guys are more happy to enjoy the entertainment to study the personality of the girls before deciding who their next victim is going to be.

Everybody wins… except for the girls that never get picked…

I though it was mandatory for all the girls to participate in the bikini contest at BB's? Why would they charge the women money to participate in a mandatory event?

From my understanding the contest is mandatory for the chicas, but the girls have to pay to be excused from the contest (some chicas are embarassed to parade around like this, believe it or not). The mamma-sons used to get the dinero for those that pay to get out of participating in the bikini contest. The BBs management made its money from the entrance fee from the outsiders coming in, and from of course the drinks bought.

Things have changed a bit recently and I for one would not be surprised if BBs management is making some money off the girls there too. No matter how you look at it, the contest costs the chicas money as they get dolled up for the contest, but on the other hand the contest is a great method for advertising their services.

The last time I was at BB's the girls had to put up the prize monies. The management didnt supply anythig to the girls in the form of financial aid in the contests.

The girls used to be charged a monthly fee, paid to Charo, for the privilage or right to work there.

I havent been there in a year now and would be interested in their operations and what has changed. Also seems the girls have been changed. I dont recogniize many faces in the news letter, must have had a large turn over.

No offense to anyone, but of all the many times I've been to PP, I was taken to a bikini contest at BB's (my first time in all those years) over the summer by someone who lives here and I wasn't that thrilled about it. The chicas seemed more bored than I was.

The bikini contests have been going on for at least 5 years now, so it is getting a bit old. However, clearly it is a moneymaker for BB. As a "contest" the problem is that it is always the same chicas who win, with others having no chance and just being there to make up the numbers. Dare I say it, the whole thing is a bit sordid, but then you can't always expect the world of paid sex to be about art and culture. Sometimes it is just about money and sex.

I mean it is fun to be a judge with the extra grinding. I'm sorry but is it me or did Black Beards really change? I've been a fan of Black Beards since they first opened. I think it is a great place to have a fun, relax, and indulge in your fantasies. Unfortunately, due to changes by management and the females attitudes, the place has changed a lot. The bikini contest used to be a huge party that somestimes included a jacuzzi party, and everyone drinking and living a fantasy. Now, BB girls want to be paid to go into the jacuzzi, some don't perform bbbj, and it seems more like a business than a fantasy vacation. What happened? I felt Black Beards was the affordable alternative to vikings adult resort.

If I have to come out of my own pocket to make the girls a little more enthusiastic to perform during the bikini contest, than management needs to have a long talk with the girls. Management makes a lot of money from drinks and when I am there, many of the visitors are buying drinks for everyone. The Bikini Contest is a big draw for them, and I feel that they don't want anyone to mess around with that.

Interesting comment. I flew into STI back in June (08) and had no problems. I was in and out of the airport in 10 mins max. The people were nice and friendly and I had some small talk with some of the airport workers. I always had the impression it was POP airport that one had to worry about, but after going through POP last month, I can say despite what others have reported, I had no problems and was waved through quickly.

my first visit to sosua was about 6 years ago. before sosua, i had been in punta cana and boca chica. 6 years ago i visited sosua in december and i flew out of newark airport on american airlines. the winds were gusting at newark, so the plane was delayed an hour. i had a connecting flight on american eagle in san juan for puerto plata. the connecting flight to puerto plata was scheduled to leave san juan at 1p. m. the flight out of newark landed in san juan at 12:50 pm. american airlines did not hold the 40 seat turbo prop, that was going to puerto plata, as such any passengers on my flight going to puerto plata missed the flight. to me american airlines should have delayed the 40 seat turbo prop maybe 30 minutes, so people from my flight could get on that flight and get to puerto plata. american airlines had no other flights going to puerto plata that day. the woman from american airlines, i spoke with at the gate said i would have to spend the night in san juan (at my own expense, american airlines offered nothing as far as a hotel or any help) and take the flight to puerto plata the next day at 1pm. i went to other airlines in the airport at san juan and asked if they had flights to puerto plata that day, they all said no.

i then went to an american airlines ticket agent to ask for advice and the woman informed me that i had been booked onto the 3:30pm flight (unknown to me before that) to santo domingo, at which point i had to run to the gate to catch this flight. this plane landed in santo domingo around 5pm, there were at least 20 people who were on the newark flight who were supposed to go to puerto plata. at the airport in santo domingo we were informed that our luggage was still in san juan. i decided to rent a car and drive to puerto plata. i believe american airlines offered transportation to the other passengers for the trip to puerto plata.

i left santo domingo airport at around 5:30pm, with no luggage, heading for sosua. i had never driven before in dominican republic and my spanish was not great. i drove into the city of santo domingo and got lost for what seemed like 2 hours, before finally finding the highway that goes to santiago. i asked numerous people for directions, but i understood very little what they were saying, the people were all very nice.

the highway was dark, with the one toll booth at the beginning. i got lost in santiago as well. eventually i got on the twisty, turny road that goes through the mountain from santiago to puerto plata. very little traffic, one metro bus flew by me, he must have been going at least 100mph. i hit one large pothole at 65mph and almost lost control of the car.

eventually i got into puerto plata. some musical group had decided to give a free concert at some gas station, so the traffic stopped for an hour. eventually i got on the road that goes to sosua, drove past the brugal factory and playa dorado complex. 6 years ago this road was beat up. within the last few years they repaved it, it is much better now. i was driving a mitsubishi compact car from avis. that car took a beating, the potholes that i hit at speed, i am surprised that the tires never blew out.

i had two friends who were waiting for me at the sosua bay hotel. the first time, i drove past sosua, not knowing where sosua was and stopped at the gas station that is going in the direction of cabarete. it was now past 11 pm and i had been driving for over 6 hours, i had left my house at 5am that day. eventually i found the sosua bay hotel and checked in, with no luggage. my friends had already acclimated themselves to sosua and had done some chicas.

in those days high caribe disco was open, big disco with an outdoor area, the building is still there (closed now), near to the car wash, about 5 minutes by car from classicos. they had a cock fight show in the high caribe disco, one night. there was another disco above alf's internet cafe, on the second floor, on the other side of the street from the classicos and down the block. it had a small little square dance floor and they would show videos on the wall above the bar. plutos bar was on the corner, they had paintings of the disney character on their walls.

i had no luggage and i called american airlines the next day. they said i could pick up my luggage at the puerto plata airport after 2pm. around 3pm, i drove over to the airport and entered into where you pick up luggage, near the baggage carousel. they have a metal cage there where they store luggage that is waiting to get picked up. my luggage was not there. i went back to my hotel, where i discovered that my luggage had been delivered to the hotel.

sosua bay hotel in those days was a good hotel, we were friendly with the people at the front desk and when we returned we always got an ocean view room, a few times they put us into the victorian house, we would always give them propinas or small gifts. the food was good, made to order omelettes, shakes in the morning, pick and choose meats and fish that the chef would cook in front of you. specialty nights, seafood night with all you can eat oysters and lobster. the price for a package deal (airfare, food and hotel) was inexpensive, 5 nts for about 500 dollars from new york. i rented a room at rocky's and had a place to screw chicas.

going back to new york our flight was delayed, there was a snow storm in new york and the plane was about 4 hours late. we eventually got on the plane and the stewardesses seemed a little drunk. they were giggly and laughing. the captain made an announcement that we would be delayed another hour, because a headlight on the plane struck a chicken while landing and we would have to wait while they changed the headlight. i think the pilot may have been drinking too, i think he was trying to be funny by saying the plane hit a chicken. maybe a bird, but i doubt it was a chicken. at the puerto plata airport you can sometimes see the guy they send out to shoot the birds near the runway. i saw him one time with a rifle driving an all terrain vehicle, getting off the atv to shoot numerous birds.

it was a bumpy flight, in the middle of the flight the plane dropped what seemed at least 1 thousand feet and veered to the right, i could hear the engines being revved hard. then when we were coming into land, we were close to touching down, when the pilot pulled out of the landing and went back in the air and we flew around for another hour. when we landed we were told that they did not have people there to put the ramp to the door of the plane and that we would have to wait another hour, this was at jfk airport.

one bit of advice, if you are connecting to puerto plata through san juan, try to get into san juan as early as you can, because i believe american airlines only has one connecting flight to puerto plata per day and if you miss that flight, you will be stuck either staying overnight in san juan or going to santo domingo and then a long ride to puerto plata.

I went last year in Jan. I had a good time. Not a great time. Sosua is more my taste. I like La Passions for a good BBBJ and the Classicos at night. The beach is a nice distraction too.

i had two friends who were waiting for me at the sosua bay hotel. the first time, i drove past sosua, not knowing where sosua was and stopped at the gas station that is going in the direction of cabarete. it was now past 11 pm and i had been driving for over 6 hours, i had left my house at 5am that day. eventually i found the sosua bay hotel and checked in, with no luggage. my friends had already acclimated themselves to sosua and had done some chicas.

in those days high caribe disco was open, big disco with an outdoor area, the building is still there (closed now), near to the car wash, about 5 minutes by car from classicos. they had a cock fight show in the high caribe disco, one night. there was another disco above alf's internet cafe, on the second floor, on the other side of the street from the classicos and down the block. it had a small little square dance floor and they would show videos on the wall above the bar. plutos bar was on the corner, they had paintings of the disney character on their walls.

i had no luggage and i called american airlines the next day. they said i could pick up my luggage at the puerto plata airport after 2pm. around 3pm, i drove over to the airport and entered into where you pick up luggage, near the baggage carousel. they have a metal cage there where they store luggage that is waiting to get picked up. my luggage was not there. i went back to my hotel, where i discovered that my luggage had been delivered to the hotel.

sosua bay hotel in those days was a good hotel, we were friendly with the people at the front desk and when we returned we always got an ocean view room, a few times they put us into the victorian house, we would always give them propinas or small gifts. the food was good, made to order omelettes, shakes in the morning, pick and choose meats and fish that the chef would cook in front of you. specialty nights, seafood night with all you can eat oysters and lobster. the price for a package deal (airfare, food and hotel) was inexpensive, 5 nts for about 500 dollars from new york. i rented a room at rocky's and had a place to screw chicas.

going back to new york our flight was delayed, there was a snow storm in new york and the plane was about 4 hours late. we eventually got on the plane and the stewardesses seemed a little drunk. they were giggly and laughing. the captain made an announcement that we would be delayed another hour, because a headlight on the plane struck a chicken while landing and we would have to wait while they changed the headlight. i think the pilot may have been drinking too, i think he was trying to be funny by saying the plane hit a chicken. maybe a bird, but i doubt it was a chicken. at the puerto plata airport you can sometimes see the guy they send out to shoot the birds near the runway. i saw him one time with a rifle driving an all terrain vehicle, getting off the atv to shoot numerous birds.

it was a bumpy flight, in the middle of the flight the plane dropped what seemed at least 1 thousand feet and veered to the right, i could hear the engines being revved hard. then when we were coming into land, we were close to touching down, when the pilot pulled out of the landing and went back in the air and we flew around for another hour. when we landed we were told that they did not have people there to put the ramp to the door of the plane and that we would have to wait another hour, this was at jfk airport.

one bit of advice, if you are connecting to puerto plata through san juan, try to get into san juan as early as you can, because i believe american airlines only has one connecting flight to puerto plata per day and if you miss that flight, you will be stuck either staying overnight in san juan or going to santo domingo and then a long ride to puerto plata.

How long are you there?

I will arrive at the NG Friday for some days.

It's bad enough that the spoon-fed mongering of BB dominates the PP section without taking over the Sosua section also. BB is 40 minutes away from Sosua, on the other side of PP.

Do anyone know where to find som exciting daytime activity. Last time I saw a lot of "old girls" hanging around in the bars, but no really pretty. Where to go?Go to the Beach and sit outside and drink at one of the 100 or so bars there. You'll meet all sorts of people, locals, ex-pats, and chicas. Its one of the unspoken gems of the Sosua experience.

You can also hit up on one of the MANY massage places. Hell, the last trip, I was walking Alejo Martinez down to the Voramar and circling back on Pedro Clisante for my morning exercise walks, and there was a girl sitting in a lawn chair on the connecting street at the far end near Voramar selling massages. All you have to do is just walk around, it's EVERYWHERE.

You can also try the bar right between Europa and 4 Roses. There are always girls there working the "day shift". Later around 3PM, LaPassions gets the early shift in and you have some choices there.

This plane landed in Santo Domingo around 5pm, there were at least 20 people who were on the Newark flight who were supposed to go to Puerto Plata. .[/blue][/size]
I would never fly AA again even if they gave me a free ticket. THEY STRANDED ME in London for 23 hours because of THEIR delayed flight, which made me miss my connected flight from London to Dubai.

I thought I was bad when they had me stranded in Puerto Rico for six hours cause they could not find a pilot who knew how to fly the air bus. They did give me a food certificate of which I was able to get a hot dog and a bottle of water plus some cash out of my pocket. First and last time with AA for me.

Guys,

A quick question on new gardens. I am planning a long term stay in sosua and it is essential that I have reliable internet access. They say at new garden they have wi fi. Does anyone have any experiance on the in room wi-fi there? It would help a lot. I have been burned at hotels in the past on this can't take chances this time. Rather trust you guys who will be unbiased.

Thanks!Skeif,

Yes the wi fi signal is very good at the NG. The router is in the office on the other side of the pool area.

Well, I'm back now for five days but still not healthy. Fucking cold temperatures here in Europe, brrrr.

I stayed at the New Garden Hotel and I have to say: I'm disappointed of the hotel. There were two small beds in my room, why not a large one like in Hotel Europa? If I had 2 girls, there would be definitely no sleep. And the breakfast was terrible, whoa. I tried it two times but went to Rockys every morning. The crew there was anyway a lot more nicer. I felt kinda unwanted between all the Italians, LOL.

I was disappointed of New Years Eve, too. There was not a lot going on at all the bars. Just the same action as everyday, okay, a few more people. But I had the feeling nobody really cared about it. But I guess it's the Dominicans who just don't celebrate it as we Europeans & Americans? I was in Cabarete, too, for a few hours, but didn't like it there at all. Too many tourists.

And I really thought there was a lot more action going on at the beach! ? ! I was there everyday (AWESOME weather), but never hooked up with any chica. Either there were not beautiful or they just wanted to bring me to a massage salon. Perhaps I had wrong expectations. Anway, the clear water made me smile again. And at least I could relax 4-5 hours per day there from all the girls.

I was there 10 days and I have to say it was too much Sosua. Everyday the same music at the discos. After a week I couldn't go to Classico anymore, I knew almost every chica there. Boring.

La Passion was great. Very good service, no trouble with the girls. But just a few nice chicas. It's a pity.

I saw guys riding motorbikes on the streets. Anyone know how much you have to pay for those? Though I'm really curious about all this insurance shit.

No the chicas always look better at night, with their makeup and finery. Same chicas look like crap in the day time.

Of course they offer "massage" in the daytime. It is illegal to proposition you for sex on the beach or on the street. "Massage" is just a euphemism for sex.

I think 10 days is way too much in Sosua. 3/4 nights is about right.

The key is to branch out, Cabarette is a good start but Puerto plata is a better exploring area. People knock Europa but I like it best in Sosua. It has big beds, plenty of action nearby and good security. The people there are watch dogs but thats who I want guarding my shit when I'm gone. If you find a chick you feel comfortable with tell her you want to see something besides Sosua. But don't be cheap with her b/c you need her to do right by you. Go to nice restaurants, put a few dollars in her pocket and buy her a couple cheap gifts. She is your tour guide. Do a day trip with her to puerto plata, then go to Sosua for the night scene. I rented a motorbike last year from up the street from NG. Its on the left before you go down the hill to casa cayena. It was 20 dollars a day, no insurance, helment was option. (I think there is new helment mandatory law).

You bring up some very vaild points. I often crave dominican women. However when I start planning a trip I remember the endless hours of just wandering around trying to find something to do.
I wish there were more budget options in santo domingo or at least easier access to other towns. If you don't have a car or are willing to spend on a driver you are more or less stuck in sosua. When caberete was a decent pfp destination it made it worth my time. These days I get bored after a few sessions. I don't like to drink all day.

I love the women though. Dark dominican women really do it for me.

I think your feelings are pretty typical, especially if you go to Sosua quite often. I was there for two weeks from Dec 27-Jan 10 and only stopped in Sosua once. Same old, same old. Next time try PP where, if you want a chica, you have to do some hunting, which keeps things interesting.

Off to Pattaya now for a month to break things up a bit.

I won't make it there until Friday, Jan. 23rd. Why didn't you come for the weekend?

I'm a newbie, but based upon my research more chicas come down then. Should still be a good time, but I plan on being very picky!

I'm going to meet up with some of the ISG members that Saturday at Rocky's. Two more weeks to go. Have to find a way to calm my azz down. LOL!Don't be too picky always horny! To be picky there means you have to catch the early worm. And that doesn't mean she's gonna be a good time. Remember: the hot ones don't have to work as hard. In and Out of the rack! Have a blast and go with an open mind as for what you'll take home.

I've only been to Sosua once, so take my info with a grain of salt, but I agree anything past 4 or 5 days is too much. There is only so much you can in the small town. As for the NG, were you staying in the old or new wing? because I stayed in the new wing and the beds were great. The breakfast does leave a lot to be desired(I got the fruit plate everytime) but it is "free".

I'm just back from 2 weeks in Sosua and it was too much of the same thing day after day, night after night. I had my wingman for the first week but after that I was on my own for the most part. The beach is fun but can get old too, same old faces.

Finally on my last full day there I bumped into my taxi driver from last trip and set up a road trip with him through the mountains via Cabarete, Moca and Santiago and finally back to home base in Sosua. The scenery was unbelievable and a couple chicas in tow cracking open the Presidente's kept things interesting too. Should have done this sooner to break up the day time monotony of Sosua especially on a longer trip. It was an expensive day but all in all was lots of fun.

Despite this all, still planning a March return.

At this point, I'll be happy with just some nice weather. We are currently below zero in Chicago...

I am not that old...early 30's, but I have experienced an assortment of chicas, so my "goal" is probably a little different from others. I am not going to screw a bunch of different chicas. I am looking for a certain quality. I don't do ugly chics in the states (for free) and I am surely not traveling that far to pay for trash!

I'm perfectly ok with coming up empty or snatching up tourists. I'm not going for the perfect ten. I prefer a nice 7 that shows me respect and treats me well. I know how to treat a woman and I won't treat them like a piece of meat. If not Sosua, maybe sdq will take care of me. For the sake of a good nut, there is always La Passions. I hope the two I am laying for are still there next week!

I think a big problem is my limited Spanish. So when I was in September in POP I had some problems hunting/finding those chicas. And no "tourists" at all in the city, it wasn't very comfortable for me when I was hitting the streets of POP on my own with only some very basic Spanish skills.

What I like about Sosua is that you can find always another guy to hang out/do something with because there are so many bored single guys in the day time when the weather's not that "good". Hehe. I should do more excursions the next time, like on my last trip when we were driving ATVs in the outskirts of POP. After that had a good fuck. That's the way it should be.

Even though I won't be getting back to Sosua anytime within the next six months, I find my mind slipping back there very often. Pardon my rambling, but I'm feeling nostalgic and while you veterans will likely only nod your heads, maybe a newbie will catch a tip. Memories:

Lou's Shark Bar. That crazy motherfucker shouts at every splittail that walks the sidewalk past the place. Sit at Lou's for a couple hours, watch some football, talk some shit, smoke a cigar. It's the only bar I've ever patronized where the proprietor locks the customers in. (Iron bars across the front of the place. Keeps out the urchins and skanks.

La Passion. Ohhhhh. What a place. Beer at the bar, oil and skin and happy ending in the back. Plenty of tall/short/flat/busty/thin/chubby chicas all OVER the fuckin' place. Their "uniform" changes day to day. Next time I'm there, I'll jump in the pool. Fuck it. I still can't get one La Passions girl out of my head. Sparkly eyes, bright smile, outstanding attitude, and hands of a goddess. I titty-fucked that broad and she laughed. Booyah.

Dancing with abandon at Latinas. I forgot that I can't dance worth a shit, but with a buzz on and that loud music and lights and three-chicks deep all around me? I'm the best dancer in the world. Excellent atmosphere and everyone is Having A Great Time.

Sitting at the bar outside Latinos, watching the parade of ass walk by, the girls brush my shoulders lightly with their fingernails as they sashay past, all competing for my attention. I get googly-eyed for one thick little' darlin' with big circular cutouts on the sides of her tight beaded short dress. She has round cheeks and dimples and perfect white teeth and tells me her name is. Yolanda? We drink a beer and I stroke the exposed sides of her torso where she's ticklish. Her skin is brown and smooth. We kiss a few times and she looks deep into my eyes and asks to spend the night with me. I passed, but have kicked myself every day since then. I'm gonna find her next time.

Food at Rocky's. Never had breakfast, but the pizza and burgers are outstanding. Also, the German Schlemmer Stube has fish and currywurst and pomme frites and schnitzels that were all terrific. Had breakfast at Brittania Pub twice. Waffles and good coffee.

Never went to Club X. Never went upstairs to Classicos. Loved riding the motocochos here and there. Loved the long drive to Rio San Juan and back. Rained every day for a few minutes. Lady at the hotel grilled up two lobsters that I bought off a guy selling them out of a truck. Kite surfers in Cabarete are some crazy bastards, but you can watch them for hours and never get bored.

You guys who live in Sosua or go there often? I'm envious as fuck.

See you all again ASAP.

The other one Ehunter is telling about is "Herkules" / "Dancing Queen". This one is near High Carribean on the way to Playa Chiquita. Its managed by a German Boss from Hotel Orchidee. This one as well is open after one. ...more for Couples to have a stress free and relaxing evening and of course for Gringas doing the manhunter business. The Playa Chiquita is just to fare and there you have to buy 200 or so Peso for entrance and only Gringos.

Gentlemen,

Could anyone explain transportation options from a place like Breezes hotel to Sosua during late evenings/nights and the associated cost?

Taxis?

Motoconchos?

Public transportation/public buses?

(I don't want to rent a car or anything else on this trip.)

How long does it take to get from Breezes to Sosua?

Thanks in advance

Thanks in advanceIf I remember correctly I can remember seeing a Breezes between between Sosua and Cabarete. The hotel that I believe is Breezes is about ten minutes from Sosua. Long ride on a motoconcho. Public transportation late at night? Maybe the guaguas or publicos in the daytime, vans packed with people or taxis with more than one passenger. I can remember the taxi fare from Sosua to Cabarete being about 20 dollars, but I haven't checked the prices in a while. I would guess that you could probably get a private taxi, one way fare would be around 10-15 dollars. A motoconcho maybe for 5 dollars, most things in Dom Rep are negotiable, so you might be able to ask around in Sosua for a return trip to Breezes at a decent price. From Breezes, I don't know if they have taxi's just waiting there. From Breezes you might have to walk to the main road and wait for a passing motoconcho or hail a taxi or a publico (or have the hotel call a taxi for you). Late at night the options decrease. There is a taxi stand near the new casino in Sosua or you can negotiate with a motoconcho driver for the trip back to Breezes.

If I remember correctly Breezes is located between Sosua and Cabarete but closer to Cabarete so I would think about 10 minutes to Sosua.
While motoconchos are plentiful in Sosua, I don't think they are on the main highway that runs between Sosua and Cabarete. If you befriend a motoconcho guy in Sosua I'm sure he would be for hire for a round trip deal. These guys are up nearly all night anyways buzzing up and down the streets of Sosua. As far as cost you would have to negotiate something with him, maybe someone else can come up with a figure as I have not used the motoconchos much while in Sosua.
Another option would be a taxi from Sosua come and pick you up and drop you off. This would be more costly, taxi from Sosua to the airport is $20 U.S. one way. Again, I'm sure you could negotiate something with them. I have phone numbers of a couple reliable taxis, both guys speak pretty good English. If you need them just send me a PM.
Public transportation is the cheapest by far, I know you can get from Sosua to POP for 1 dollar or for 6 dollars you can rent the whole car but not sure if they run from Cabarete to Sosua and back. Maybe someone else would know.
I think your options are limited because of the time you want to travel.

From Breezes to Sosua before 8 PM i would take the public taxi "guagua" that will cost you less than 40 pesos.
After 8 pm taxi will cost you 10 to 15$ us . Same thing from Sosua to Breezes.

Sometimes it's better to pay a litte xtra and save some haslte !

Well just got back from Santo Domingo for six days I hit all the house and the streets lately I can say the sky house has the hottest girls for 2500 pesos.

When you bargin they ask 3000 but they are 7 and 8 rating girls and very friendly

Girls house got them down to 2000 pesos do not lets anyone take you to these houses they get a 200 to 500 peso commision so they jack the price to you, girls here are hardcore rush and out session.

Casa Theresa: What a joke extremely rush and get out for three thousanf peso but there were a few 10's that we took but was the worst session ever.

Extremely mean and rush and I'm in my late 20's.

Street action behind the casinos Jaraugua Casino for a 1000 pesos to 700 pesos I had alot of them.

Hotel: I reccommed Casa Dorada a block away from action and very nice no chica fees or dead center of it all if you don't mind trash hangin out in front of your hotel go to mystik right between girls house and sky house and all the street girls plus you have another four to five houses around u.

Don't be scared even at night I ran that shxthole the guys on the streets just want a cut tell them to go away I know where I am.

Havent been there since Sept 07El Neptuno has two bedroom condominiums with two bathrooms, washing machine, safe, internet, air conditioners in all rooms, full kitchen, balcony, close to the action, but at night you can't go crazy with the noise. Or rent two, one-bedroom condos at tradewinds, or rent two rooms in one of the many hotels. Some other places around Sosua have two or more bedrooms, condominiums and villas. Going past playa chiquita casino, if you take the road to the end, there is more coastline with some really nice villas on the water, some for rental, private security and other amenities.

Ask them which of the following emails are correct then suggest they properly update their website to reflect that:

1) HOME area of their webpage (the next to the last paragraph) says to contact Wilfred at info@hotelnewgarden.net. (that email address does not exist)

2) Then the “contact us” area of the website gives: info.newgarden@gmail.com

3) Then another guy below says to try hotel.garden@codetel.net.doI recently exchanged emails with Wilfried. The gmail address appears to be the current address. What I noticed is that I would write/respond to the gmail address and Wilfried's responses would come from the codetel address so they are "linked" in some fashion. I suggest sticking with the gmail address but guess you could use the codetel.

Read with great interest of your report of El Neptuno, did you type correctly "can't" go crazy with the noise at night?

Is this a quiet complex to stay in?

Hope so that's what I was looking for.

Thanks for any info.

Highly recommend the New Garden penthouse. There are only the two rooms on the fourth floor with two large patio areas, a long shared balcony and a great view of Sosua and all the way to the sea. One room is a regular and the other is huge with a jacuzzi. See pix. Just call Wilfred and see if its available. Tell him Koki sent you.

NowrathI stayed at El Neptuno twice, nice building, nice apartments, chica friendly, I made some noise late at night, one time, loud music and the watchieman came up and asked me to the lower the music. No problem, no complaints from neighbors.

I stayed at the Palms condos twice, not recommended, one time I had some chicas in the condo at Palms, we were chatting, music was not loud. The next day I found a note on the kitchen table, basically saying that unless I kept very quiet at night, I would have to vacate the apartment. Last time I stayed at the Plams I was told I could not bring guests to the pool. Unless I was desperate, I would never rent at the Palms again.

I had no problems at the El Neptuno, brought chicas to the pool, saw other mongers renting there. But it is a quiet complex, with people who live there, who are not partying, some older people. It is not a church, but you just cannot blast the music late at night. Nice rooms, nice bathrooms, walking distance to all. A little pricey, but if you split the cost with another guy could be around 50 US Dollars per night. The rates change depending on the season. Ramona is the administrator there, nice dominican lady. You pay for the electric you use at El Neptuno (cheap, less than 10 dollars per day, unless you blast all three air conditioners 24/7). I previously posted some photos I took at El Neptuno, any questions let me know. I can tell you who I rented from, American guy, very nice.

NowrathTo be more clear, the last time I stayed at El Neptuno I paid about 100 dollars per night, which I split with a friend, 50 US for each guy per night. I rented in slow season there one time and paid about 75 dollars per night, which I split with a wingman. There are a few apartments for rent there. The guy I rented from lives in Pennsylvania. El Neptuno has a person on site who handles the paperwork.

For the peps who's considering staying on the Coco Hotel for their stay, do yourself a favor and only consider it as a last resort. I had to reserve a room there after I screwed up my reservation at NewGardens and there were no other alternatives.

Negatives: The room was a dump and they are all in similar conditions. Hot water was non existence. Even on the hottest days, I wouldn't dare consider jumping in the pool. The AC unit in the room was not properly insulated so bugs and mosquitoes was able to infiltrate the the room. The room I had was close to the street so it could get very loud at night. I was actually kinda embarress brining the chicas back to my room. The distance from actions are further than I would like, the added hassle and expense of paying a motohoncho back and forth really suks.

Positives: The staff was very helpful and accommodating. On most days there are one or two decent looking chicas sitting at the bar waiting to be picked up. The private beach that they advertised is very nice, and is a good place to go if you want to do something with a chica outside. The security at night is decent.

This hotel is for someone who is on a really slim budget and likes the distance from the hotspot.

From my observation, this hotel is used by the locals for a quickie.

What about the robberies and burglaries there recently, stories which are readily available on the web via google search? Who is really posting this advertisement?I googled el neptuno and burglary (and robbery) and found no relevant stories on the first page of the google results. If you have more information, please share. No secret about el neptuno, I am certain that many thousands of people have rented at El Neptuno. Advertisement? If I like a place and can recommend it, is that an advertisement? I have no financial interest in any place in the Dom Rep. I will be in Santo Domingo in 7 days so if you want to see who is posting this "advertisement", I'll invite you for a beer so you can see in person who is posting this "advertisement".

Location of El Neptuno: from Classicos walk towards the new casino, past the corner bar, past the small grocery store, past the pharmacy, past the Juan Perdomo real estate office, then the street where the Casino begins, there will be a restuarant to your right (with outdoor seating, I forgot the name) there will be a restaurant across the street to the left (I believe PJ's or something), the road that takes you to playa sosua will be to the left with a bar on the corner (used to be Voodo lounge many years ago). There should be a taxi stand on the opposite corner, at this road make a right and walk straight, after a block you will reach an intersection, keep going straight, the road will descend and bend to the left, after three hundred feet on the left will be El Neptuno, three story condominium building, with I believe three entrances. If you continue to walk straight on this road, you will come to Piergorgio hotel, where the road ends. If you make the left on the westernmost corner of the el neptuno property, Victorian House, Sosua Bay Hotel and the new Casino will be about a block up the road.

If you need additonal information let me know.

I have previously posted photos that I took at el neptuno. Sorry if you think I am making an advertisement. I found the condominium at el neptuno to be very nice, a little pricey, so I don't always stay there, I am a little cheap, so I have used the tradewinds which are half the price, buy only one bedroom.

I was responding to a post where a member was asking about two bedroom places. The chicas I took to el neptuno liked the apartment. I would like to see the stories about burglaries and robberies you mention in your post.

NowrathGreat price, I think you will like it there. In the pool, I met an older American couple who live there, they were telling me their stories about sailing their boat through the Caribbean. There is a big supermarket on the main road of Sosua about 4-5 blocks from el neptuno. On the roof of el neptuno, I believe they have clotheslines where you can dry your laundry.

I was thinking about staying at the New Garden Hotel with my girl. Before you say "Don't bring sand to the beach, my girl loves girls like I do (Instant 3some) don't be jealous. We have already been to Blackbeards twice, with great results. We just wanted to try Sosua. Is New Garden a good move for a couple looking for chicas. Is it true that chicas hang around at the pool? How close is New Garden to La Passions? Are the chicas more expensive at La Passions than the ones that could be hanging around New Garden? How far is the beach from New Garden or La Passions? Basically what would be our best move at Sosua for about two days in July before we go to BB's.

Team hornyNew Garden a good move for a couple? No Se pero they do have chicas hanging around. The beach is a 7min walk away, la passions is a 50 peso motoconcho ride away. BB has chicas that have to be accountable as far as performance and cleanliness and price. La Passions is also simular but a little more expensive. Dealing with Sosua street puntas, use patience see what you feel comfortable with. New Garden has alot of Italian guys hanging out but they will respect you and your lady. We need more ladys like your wife in the world, then maybe some of us would consider marrige. I would be sitting at Latinos getting my drink on chilling with my wife. When she picks a cute chica that she wants. Once back at the hotel I would pour myself another drink sit down cross my legs and watch my wife warm her up for us. Sorry guys my mind drifted.

The darker girl in my more recent posts sleeping in el neptuno, I met at Playa Chiquito disco. I had done a chica from Classicos earlier in that night. The earlier girl I posted her photos before. With the Classicos girl whose pics I posted before I finished with CIM. The night was kind of early when I finished with her and I headed over to the Playa Chiquito disco alone, just for a beer and to relax. The darker girl in the bed in the el neptuno photos, shimmied over to where I was standing and starting dancing in front of me. Slowly moving her backside closer to my crotch, eventually her ass grinding my crotch. She is no great beauty, but she had a sweet personality and no money was discussed. She woke Mr. Johnson up with her grinding and of course we went back to the condo at for sex and she slept to the next day. I gave her money when we parted, money was never discussed.

I promise no more posts about El Neptuno. I will hopefully have some new photos and stories from Santo Domingo shortly.

The two streets run parallel, and no shrubbery at the entrance. Metal gate and high walls painted bright yellow. You're mistaken, I'm afraid.

The reviewer of Coco was correct: rooms are spartan and hot water is a crap shoot. But he's also right that the staff is cooler than fuck and the security is rock solid. And both of those things are of incalculable value in Sosua.

Embarrassed to take chicks there? I'm sure they're not embarrassed. Mellow out, enjoy the sun, have a beer and some female companionship. Coco is OK.

Everything is within walking distance.

Basically all you have to do is walk about and smile at any attractive woman you see who takes your fancy.

Now, most girls are not overtly willing to do lesbian sex, as there is a great stigma against that, so you probably don't wish to bring that up at the start. And with you already having a g/f, the girls will be looking mainly at single men. So when both of you see a girl you like, you BOTH need to smile, chat with her, invite her for a drink and/or a meal and win her confidence before inviting her back to the room for the threesome. In the end the bottom line will be that she needs money, so she will probably come along as long as her friends don't think she is doing the lesbian thing.

But with a bit of luck, you will end up getting the girl-on-girl virginity of some beautiful girls. Good luck! And let us know how it works out for you.

Just go to la passion. Peter the owner always has some bisexual girls in his team. Just ask peter which of his girls are into girls and that`s it. If i recall right after 9pm the salida (bar fee is 1000) and 2500 pesos for the girl( toda la noche) or all night long. With la passion girls you can avoid all the drama and bullshit which street girls may/can give you.
