Long list of mongering places you and your friends have not been to if you have the nerve to write these 2 things.This is all opinions guys. You can agree or disagree. Like I said I have never been to columbia. And I disclosed it. Why don't you answer the guy. I have been to sosua, santo domingo, rio, Bangkok, pattaya, jarkata, johannesburg just to name a few. Etc. If you know an easy place with the same quality and quantify of girls selling pussy let me know and I will add it my next destination. Espcially if its closer to the beach and safe like sosua.

Most locations you have to go where the actions is. In Sosua you are always in the middle all the time. Almost every women every where you go is in play. I most admitt that things have changed significantly in Sosua. There is neither the numbers or the quality of 3 or 4 years ago. Sosua is being strangled but is a very tough *****. Many guys like me have friends restarants, beaches and yes women to make the place a favorite. We go hoping to find some of the magic of the pass. It is getting increasingly more difficult to find. The new weekend warriors have limited time and unlimited money, and feel 100 usd to 200 usd is the going rate in Sosua. They have many tells and are easy for the girls to figure out. The DR for a variety of reasons has been letting go of its own specialties, and so you see Rap music replacing their own Bachata, Salsa and Merengue, (or adopting hamburgers and fried food, with significant impact on their girth and health) as they try to cater to their customers. A bigger country with a strong inner root would not change so quickly, as the DR has.

For those who complain about chica prices here, look at the costs and the effort you put in, to get to these places at the other side of the world. Now for me, that's expensive, and stressful. Not quality time.
Here you can get a decent chica friendly hotel room with kitchen, in the middle of the action for $45 dollars.
Air fare, $450, Room for a week, $300.
Going rates for a decent chica, $40 to $60. And good restaurants and 3 beaches all within a 10 minute walk.
For a Toronto visitor you can breakfast in Toronto, and lunch on the beach by 1 pm, no stress.
Hard to beat. Especially if you are not into Thailand or Philippine women, like me.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Any OG monger that use to know how old Sosua operate should come to Sosua for NOSTALGIC purpose only. Its a great feeling to go and see your favorite chicken spot and or local beach bar that's still operating after all these years. Was with Oakie again yesterday and he has the perfect setup. He doesn't have to go to avhnee and pay ridiculous gringo prices. Hell I didn't either. As someone that now lives in Sosua until I can get back to Pattaya with no restrictions Sosua is far from a top Mongering destination. What MR E said about agreeing to one price and then making a scene back at the hotel to get more money happens more than it should and is a reason I don't even bother with these chicas they are low class. A Little story I went to Kings / Rumbas and the quality was so bad when dudes tell me they pulled a dime I'm like from where because I think the chicas walking around are just ugly. Sosua has it's good points walkable safe good food around and a beach it use to be cheap for girls not so much. I'm thinking of going to Medellin in two week just so I can get some mongering done.

But I have traveled to about 50 countries around the world. Mostly Europe and Asia (I used to live in Singapore and so know Asia / Aus-NZ well). I never experienced what I just described before, in that spontaneous a manner. Of course one of the biggest challenge is the language. I have been told that Brazil / Colombia (and perhaps Cuba as you described) are also spontaneous but I do not have any personal experience, never having been there.

I can't count how many times I've had situations similar to his in the DR.If you are experiencing it, that means you are doing a whole bunch of things right, starting from choosing the right kind of women plus treating them right, so they too feel comfortable being themselves in your presence. I got a couple of takeaways from it.
You can avoid the main area of complaints, using the "referral" system.
1. I only fuck friends of friends who I know and trust.
2. I would never have a strange street chica in my room, at home, in Sosua, or anywhere else. That's asking for trouble, right there. No matter how hot she looks.
Once, 6 years ago, I had a few beers, got a little buzz on and grabbed one off the street, and took her back to my place, Terra Linda. 1. I made sure that the hotel I booked was guest friendly but you're right I should have split it into different ones in case it doesn't work out in my favor. First mistake.
2. I asked around and messaged certain youtubers and IG folks what the current rates are and that's what they gave me. Mistake number 2 as they are likely getting a commission from those girls. Good thing is I didn't agree to any meetings with the girls just simply asked. I didn't get into details with them for what the $100 would cover and I now see that it won't workout for me in the end thanks to you, Mr Enternational and Coolie High. $20 sunglasses seems like a waste of money. Especially when the DR has cheap knock off glasses for under five dollars. Make sure your cheap knock off glasses have UV protection. Otherwise they will provide sun shade only, yet open your pupils and let in all the UV that will harm your eyes.
Some sunglasses have a tag on the lenses that say "UV Protection" however even these tags can be counterfeited. I ask my optician to check them under his microscope and tell me if they are safe to wear.

Spent few days in SD and Sue. I flew into SD on Spirit using air miles great deal. I paid 35 for the big front seat. I do this. So I can be first in the immigration line. In lesss then 10 minutes I was walkng out of the airport. Spent 2 days with a chica I have known for a few years. Stayed in an awesome airbnb $52 a night. After enjoying great sex with my girl I rolled out to the Sue Caribe tours. Hit the ground in the Sue last Friday girls everywhere. No perceptiple night life but between Kings amd Baileys you can find girls to go. Had 3 new girls who were keepers. My return flight was out of SD on Sunday. Normally I go back to SD the day before I leave. However there is 5 am Sunday morning bus that takes 3 and a half hour ride. I was eating breakfast at Grands by 9 am. It's usually slow here in low season, but there has been an uptick in visitors from the USA, as travel restrictions are lifted, and more flights are coming in to PP.
It is anticipated that more visitors will start to arrive in numbers between now and Christmas, when Canadian and Europe airlines start flying again into Puerto Plata. There's a pent up demand for travel.
In what I call midtown, the once seedy area between Europa and Ahnvee, apartments and condo rentals are filling up and prices are rising. Sales are picking up too.
Owners and entrepreneurs are betting on a pent up demand for travel, particularly from Europe and Canada. They are renovating old properties, and derelict bars are reopening, notably, Captains Table and Rancho Tipico which is drawing a good crowd in the evenings. The old CMP is now a new apartment hotel. Bars in the area include the aforementioned, plus Cheers, Plan be, Jabila, with live bands and and DJs so there's a good mix of music and dancing. (Note to CoolieHigh, one of your harem is new manager at Rancho Tipico).
The chicas around the bars here are more discreet, they come in pairs and buy their own drinks.
All part of the Grand Plan to relocate the chica action from downtown Pedro.
Downtown, we still have King's, Meringue, Mamajuana, Bar Central and the smaller bars, and the street action is still mainly around the Dr Rosen corner, up to New Garden, all the way to Alicia Bar and Fraggle Rock.
But the plan to make Sosua "family friendly" is failing miserably. Downtown is building it's 4th large Chinese dollar emporium within a two block area. That's not the kind of attraction families are looking for, and there'll be no rich cruise ship widows coming to pick up cheap ashtrays and flip flops.
Mayor Willy has done a decent job with tree planting, cleaning up garbage, repairing sidewalks and covering up eyesores.
But families today are looking for all-inclusive properties on the beach, where they and their kids have all the amenities. Punta Cana and Puerto Plata provide that in spades.
The only AI hotel here is Casa Marina, but it's mostly adults, not kids.
Sosua is not dying, just changing with the times.
Spirit nickles and dimes with the best of them. They charge for both carry on and checked bags. I have seen people show up with carry on bag told it will cost 90 dollars to take that bag on the flight. They go nuts and Spirit sticks to its policy, However once you learn how to manage your travel this will not be an issue. The good, Spirit has excellent departure and arrival times. They get me from DC area to SD by 1 pm. Departure from SD is around 2 pm which works well for me. The cost of the Spirit flights 150 less then most airlines. I have a spirit credit card so my miles add up. You can get a round trip sometimes for 10,000 miles. So far this year my miles have gotten me 3 free trips. I do not need to be wined and dined on a plane. I can buy own snacks and 2 hours sitting on a plane is not a problem. And closing I make Spirit my B@tch because I know how to use its perks of which there are plenty. I once flew to ATL for 50 dollars round trip.

As you and I talked about recently Tempo, JetBlue is the best but their prices to the Dominican Republic have gone from 220 usd rt, to 600 usd rt. Free baggage carry-ons plus one checked if you have the True Blue credit card.

This was many years ago.American airlines has been pretty bad lately. I flew american airlines 4 times this year and for all 4 flights I had long delays. My flight to puerto plata got changed to santiago now.
I wish delta was flying to puerto plata, I rarely get issues with delta.
I'm in AA platinum card holder. I also have the Citibank card. I usually roll with them because I get priority boarding (for me and my friends) plus one free bag. Last vacation they completely dropped the ball. I miss my connecting flight due to the pilot stating they were waiting on a part for the plane. I get into Miami and they said I had a eight hour wait and the only thing they could do was give me a food voucher.
I wasn't by myself apparently about 80 other people missed their flights. We were all in a long line waiting to get rescheduled. When I finally got to the attendant after waiting in the line for two hours, they wanted to fly me to Las Vegas or something like that. That was going to be another 10 hour delay. I argue with them and told them I'm not sleeping at the airport and I should have a room. I told the flight attendant the pilot came over the intercom and apologize for them not having a part for the plane it had nothing to do with the weather. She then gave me a voucher for a hotel room in Miami. Mind you my flight was just 4 1/2 hours away but I didn't care I wanted to sleep even if it was for two hours.
They put me in a $250 room a night. They gave me a meal voucher however the only thing open was subway (It was about 12:30 AM). When I looked at the line in the airport it was probably 85 people deep. They are going to run out of food because there are about 60 people behind me waiting to get their voucher.
I had to book me a flight the next morning from Miami to the DR. Get to the DR and American Airlines doesn't have my bags and will not have it until the next day. Two people I travel with both left on separate times with American Airlines and both experience cancellations and delays.
Given the choice I will still take American Airlines over Spirit.
I have made 6 flights on Spirit 2 on American this year. For me the bottom line is price and convenience. I get both from Spirit. I live in DC area my arrival time to the DR Santo Domingo is 1 to 3 pm which is excellent for me. Departure times are early afternoon which is also very good for me. I do not need free peanuts or water. I have the Spirit credit card which gets me some decent perks. Once you learn how to fly Spirit you will have few problems. No cancel flights so far. I will be flying them tommorrow.

American Airlines has quietly re-certified the 737 8 max and released it to the fleet. JetBlue has phased out the Brazilian 190 aircraft (my favorite) and went with new airbus jets.
BTW Spirit just cancelled all flights to Tampa and cancelled more at FLL. To each his own but I wouldn't fly Spirit even if it was free.
Spirit is experiencing an operational meltdown. It doesn't happen all the time or even often. I can't say I fly a lot on Spirit, but I have my fair share. I've never had any issues.
Meltdowns aside, OldCool is right that you need to know how to fly Spirit. Never ever fly in a regular seat! Yes, pay extra for a BFS (big front seat) or an exit raw. You won't even know you're flying the most hated airline in the USA If you take this approach.
Nowadays, always buy travel insurance that covers everything: emergencies, delays, cancellations, whatever, or check if you already have one with one of your credit cards. We're talking like $50-70. Seriously, shit will keep happening until air travel gets back to normal.
Start checking for IRROPs before leaving home. If you see systemic delays, you might want to reschedule. Better be disappointed at home than airport.
With legacy airlines, see if you can get to lounge if you're already at the airport. In lounge use a concierge to rebook your flight and avoid dealing with long lines and the madness of the terminal. You can also have some snacks and drinks while other people are killing each other in a line to the help desk. Even if you have to pay for access it may be worth it, and your insurance can reimburse.
Get all you're entitled to (like food and hotel vouchers from an airline and reimbursement from insurance too). IRROPs can be profitable sometimes.
I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone goes to Bailey's -It is absolutely the worst service on the entire island.Aside from comfortable seating, clean banyo, no skanks, one of the best wood oven, baked to order pizzas in town, and no hustle to get you out of there as fast as they can, I agree. I remember a "direct" flight to TO from Miami. It stopped in NY. But La Guardia was shutting down because of snow. So they unloaded us. I joined hundreds of pissed off travelers lined up for information, of which there was none.
Then a rumor started that there were some flights leaving Kennedy, so we all raced for taxis. Got to Kennedy and found a flight to TO via Philly. Whew!
They boarded us, and the plane lined up for de-icing. An hour later we taxied back to the gate. No go.
So we unloaded again. Back in the frantic terminal they were trying to give us a hotel voucher but all the hotels they used were full. So they brought in a bus, gave us a toilet kit, and shipped some of us off to a small hotel in Queens. They had a bar, so we were just happy to get a drink and a room. Met some interesting people that night.
Next day finally got a flight to TO via Buffalo. Tried to explain to the wife why what she thought was a short business meeting in Montreal took so long. She didn't buy it, bess her. At some point later she saw my passport.
Anyway I'm leaving Sosua for TO for a month or so, but no flights out of PP, so I'm taking a leisurely drive to Punta Cana, staying overnight at the airport Sheraton for an early morning AC direct flight to TO. Be there for lunch.
Stress free, and as they say, god willin. No more milk runs thru the States. But if you must use connections, best to travel light, no checked bags.

I spent a total of 8 days in Sosua not counting the days of arrival and departure. After spending many outings at the German Fkks and Zona Norte Tijuana, I decided to give Sosua a shot! Coolie High was right that I would be OVERWHELMED as soon as I arrived. Boy was he right!
Background info: Early 30's Dark Mexican American Male from LOS Angeles who speaks fluent Spanish. I thought I could blend in as a Dominican and boy was I wrong LOL.
I flew American Airlines from LA to Miami to Puerto Plata. The trip started off on a scary note. Everything was smooth until we attempted to land in Puerto Plata. The windows immediately got covered with condensation which caused the pilot to abort the landing at the last minute. That decision caused the airplane to shift violently to the right which caused many of the passengers to cry in fear. Many fellow passengers could be seen reciting their prayers at that moment. Once back in the air, the pilot informed us that we would be flying in circles in order to wait for the rain to calm down. This went on for an hour to which the pilot decided to land in Santo Domingo instead. Once in Santo Domingo we waited another hour until the rain had finally cleared in Puerto Plate and back in the air we went. We finally arrived 3 hours later than the original landing time but we were just glad to be safe and alive LOL. During the waiting in Santo Domingo many fellow passengers were losing it and starting verbal altercations with one another about their masks. All I can say is the plane was fully booked and we were literally ass to face like at a nightclub so I can sympathize with those that were upset over others removing their masks.
Once we finally landed in Puerto Plata I waited about 20 minutes for my driver who had gone to eat after waiting for me throughout the delay which is understandable. Here is where Coolie High was right about me being overwhelmed. As soon as we entered Sosua there were literally tens if not hundreds of girls walking or sitting down throughout the streets. Most of these girls were easily 8's and 9's in my opinion. I couldn't believe the beauty of the women that I was seeing. Once in my hotel I decided to call it a night and sleep off the jet lag from the delays. My hotel ended up being only a 10 minute walk away from Pedro Clisante and the Beach which worked out very well in my favor.
Day 1 Monday I quickly learned about the brutal Carribean heat and humidity. My plan was to simply walk to Super Pola which was about 10 minutes away on foot in order to exchange some money. After that my plan was to see Bailees and the beach. After exchanging money and checking out the beach and bailees, a total of about 40 minutes had passed and I was already drenched in sweat and about 5 shades darker than when I arrived LOL. I decided to order a pizza and relax the rest of the day. During my walk on the beach this nice Haitian guy working for Diversity Bar asked me to sit down and have a drink with him. I told him I would eventually and did that on day 2.
Day 2 Tuesday I simply wanted to avoid the heat so I went to the beach and sat down with the nice Haitian guy and simply chatted for hours. He explained that business is very slow and doesn't pick up until at least Thursday which explained the lack of women walking around in the beach. There were still plenty of women but nothing like what I saw on YouTube. Once the sun finally came down I decided to hit up Pedro Clisante to observe the talent. As I walked I noticed that many of the women didn't pay much attention to me which I found interesting. It took me about an hour later to realize that I was still wearing my mask LOL. Once I removed my mask the women began to call me "Chino" or "Peruano". Throughout my stay I didn't see any Asian looking males or darker latino males like myself so I went along with it and would smile when they called me Chino. As I was walking on Clisante this Domincan man walking with two girls immediate strikes up a conversation with me. His name was Joey and apparently he is well known by everyone in the area. He explained that the girls with him were 1500 for short time. In my head I thought that was a little low but like Coolie High said my fluent Spanish likely helped in this case. I actually didn't end up getting any quotes higher than 2500 for ST which ended up working for me with my budget. After about a 30 minute discussion with Joey, he informs that he is going to show me the houses where there are working girls. He took me to 3 different houses. Two were on Pedro Clisante and once was on Ayuntamiento. This was at around 9 pm in a foreign country so I was a little bit hesitant about getting robbed. In each house we would knock and beautiful looking girls would welcome us. I liked that I observed and informed the girls that I would be returning. After seeing the houses Joey asked for a small tip to compensate him for his time in showing me around. I thought that was fair and gave him 200 pesos for showing me around the block. I went to buy an ice cream at Helados Bon and called it a night without seeing a girl.
Day 3 and 4 Wednesday and Thursday were almost identical with me sitting with the Haitian guy in Sosua beach waiting for the sun to come down and then going to Pedro Clisante to scope out the talent. I exchanged numbers with a girl that was eyeing me from a bar and agreed to meet up with her for 2500 later. I was still a bit tired and sore from my travels so I didn't end up seeing this girl but simply walked around and continued to exchange numbers. On day 4 Wednesday, I saw a girl that in my opinion was the best looking of all that were there. I sent Coolie High a picture LOL. She was Chantal from Santo Domingo and was only 20 years old. We exchanged numbers and I agreed to text her later. After she walked away I saw Joey again and we talked again for about an hour while walking around. He kept trying to convince me to go to Puerto Plata with him in a carrito public where he said he had girls for 500 but I didn't feel comfortable with that and politely refused. As we were walking he introduced me to a girl named Rosemany. She looked pretty good and he recommended her so I decided to take her as my first girl in Sosua. As my hotel was only a 10 minute walk from Pedro Clisante she agreed to walk with me. This is where the red flags immediately started. She wanted 4000 for ST and 8000 for LT. I laughed and told her there was no way she would be getting 8000 from me. She agreed to 3000 for ST with a tip if she was worth it. She wasn't. In the room she wanted me to shower while she stayed in the room. I refused and had her shower with me even though my room was chica proofed I didn't want to risk it. As soon as we got down to business she immediately asked how long I would last because she had another customer waiting. At this point I had enough of her and told her I would finish when appropriate. After that she didn't complain but she wasn't exactly giving great service. After finishing I sent her on her away and returned to my room. I noticed she had left behind her earring and put it to the side. I immediately got a text from her about 5 minutes later asking me to return it to her at the spot on Clisante where we had met. I told her it was too late and that I would give it to her the following night. She said it was urgent and asked if I could pay for her motoconcho so she could come and get it herself. I told her that after the way she treated me she was lucky I didn't throw it away and refused to pay for her ride. She came on her own and texted me that she was downstairs. Once downstairs, I returned her earring and deleted her number. The security guy did a great job refusing to let her in without me when she arrived and also refusing to call me when she asked him to do so. I texted Joey that his girl was a disaster and he apologized saying some of them are like that with certain guys. Lesson learned.
Day 5 Thursday was very similar with hanging out the beach which was followed by walking around Clisante. I hung out at the corner of Kings bar and noticed many people constantly staring at me. One was a motoconcho named Abel who explained that everyone knows one another and simply said that they were wondering who I was and where I came from. I talked with Abel for about 30 minutes and saw Chantal from the previous day. I quickly informed Abel that she was the one I was waiting for and quickly went to talk to her. She agreed to 2500 with a tip depending on how she was. I was worried because like I said in my eyes she was the prettiest of all the girls I had seen. I had issues with this in the past in Zona Norte and FKKS where the pretty ones were usually clock watchers and gave shitty service. Chantal is about 5'7 and lighter skin with tattoos on her chest and right arm. I said fuck it "if she sucks at least she is beautiful LOL" She walked with me to the hotel and EVERYONE was staring. We passed a group of Motoconchos who said "That woman has a great body" and "great job Chino that girl is beautiful". Even the security guy at my hotel who wasn't there to check her identification told me the next morning that he saw me come in with a beautiful girl through the security cameras LOL. Chantal was GREAT! She did not rush and was very chatty and pleasant. I caught feelings LOL and was extremely happy with her. I tipped her an extra 500 because she was great and pretty much let me do whatever I wanted.
Day 6 Friday I planned to find a different girl and ran into Tony T at the corner of Clisante where the taxis are. He introduced me to a fine looking woman with curly hair who was about 5"8 darker skin with an extremely fit body. I liked what I saw and agreed to talk to her later. A nice shorter woman who looked in her mid to late 30's introduced herself and asked if I was interested. I told her maybe later and she quickly went on her way. At that moment Chantal was walking with her friend and immediately recognized me and smiled. She quickly came up to me and she knew I was sold again LOL. Once again we took the walk to my hotel with everyone starting at us the entire time =).
At this point I was very satisfied with Chantal and decided to see her each of my remaining days in Sosua. So days 7, 8, and 9 went the same way. I would walk around and eat at Bologna, Schnitzel Paradise, Margot, and Cafe Cubano and would end the night with Chantal again LOL. On those nights I would text her and she would come to my hotel on her own. Fuck it. I was very happy with her service and did not want to see anyone else!
Day 10 finally came and I am planning to return to Sosua again maybe in December! I know I only ended up seeing 2 girls but I was very happy with spending my time observing the beauties and ending the night with Chantal. I look forward to going again soon!

Great way to get the best service from those types at least it has been for me is this:
When they approach and are talking to you, let her know how extremely beautiful she is. Of course, she won't care she hears that every 5 minutes. However, let he know of your exact prior findings. "Every time I meet a 10 they end up being a 2 or 3 in bed, or their personality, or both. Why would it be any different with you?" (you being the girl).
Almost always they will take it as a challenge and be very playful and I have ended up disarming them and end up having one who looks like a 9 but acts like a 6 7 or 8 and that you can live with!
For the record I don't think I have ever had a true 10. But. There is always another mission!!

Great Report! Glad I could help with your first trip to Sosua. We don't get a alot of fresh new perspective on the sosua board as much any more so your report is a breath of fresh air. Once you got over that overwhelming feeling I knew you be cool and settle into doing your thing and get yourself a nice fresh hunny dip that wasnt hardcore and demanding ridiculous prices.

The best reward you can give a chica is repeat service. That's Mr. E 101 class. Introduction to Chicas. I don't mind telling a chica if you're good I will give you a tip, but if you're really good I will repeat. Her good attitude made her eat for 4 days. That's way better than a 1000 peso tip.
I consider myself a Sosua vet. However, when I am there I mostly do my repeats and have a little time or interest to scout for new talent. After several leche Papi Leches, you realize how valuable Quality means to you over quantity. I wonder how you would have fared had you went to Boca chica. Good job Chino.

It was my worse travel day out of many trips. American Airlines called me at 5 am to tell me my 9 am flight had been cancelled. Fuck that, if I can get from Tampa to Miami I can make the POP flight at noon. Caught a prop in Tampa where I was looking right over the pilots shoulder but we made it safely, Sosua here I come.
MIA to POP was on time but when we got to POP we couldn't land because of weather. For over an hour we just circled. I'm thinking we would divert to STI or SDQ but the captain came on the speaker and said Houston wanted us to return to Miami. Fuck man just give me a parachute and let me jump, Sosua is right there. We would have to wait in Miami for two days for the next POP seat. Fuck, just send me home to Tampa. Got all the way to Sosua and was sent home, what a bummer.

My bad man I thought I told you about the initial flight. Luckily my return flight was super smooth. Sat next to a little kid so had plenty of room and on my main flight the other two people missed their flight so I had the whole aisle to myself.

Go on Amazon and buy an unlocked phone for less than 200 usd. I've gone in and out of the Dominican Republic 3 times in the last three months and you need that e ticket immigration form and the bar code. American wouldn't even let me do anything until I filled out the form. Some airlines ask for a return ticket and some don't best to be prepared. Just go to the American airline site and book a return ticket but use the 24 hour hold. They will send you an email with your confirmation number to show if someone asks. The 24 hour hold will expire automatically and you won't be charged but you have the ticket.

Immigration form, customs form, and covid form. Or like you said, you can do it at home and print out the scan code. Maybe your hotel will have a computer that you can use to print out before going home.

As for the girls, I've been reading reports that say it's "like shooting fish in a barrel", so I'll treat it like food: when I'm hungry, I'll eat, when I want a girl, I'll get one off the beach. Short time, catch and release, no strings. That's how I do it in Santa Fe, Bogota. (Yes, I can speak passable Spanish). I usually travel once a year, and wanted to try someplace new. Cash is tight, and I can't afford Costa Rica or Panama prices, but with daytime prices here in the 1,500-2,000 peso range, I can swing that. I'll tell you what brother, I'm looking forward to those dark chocolate bunnies. I'll write a report when I return.

On Expedia a lot of the flights have free 24 hour cancellation. Same thing Mr Gogo said, just purchase a ticket to anywhere then copy the itinerary. Go back and cancel and you won't even be charged. I always use a different airline than I'm flying on for my onward proof, that way the check-in person doesn't have access to that system to determine whether or not it's valid.

She took me back to her place which worked for me, but it was basically a dorm room big enough for a bed and a non functional shower. Just a bucket to bathe with. She had a wonderful slim body. CBJ and cowgirl and I didn't last. Decided it was time for me to get back rather than go for a seconds round. I gave her her money and then she got weird and insisted we had a agreed to 3500 for ST. I speak Spanish, it was 1500. She kept calmly arguing over it while on her phone. I heard there is another after hours spot called Diamond, but I didn't go to check it out. Before COVID, there was many girls, especially when rumba, merrengue, and classico were all opened. It was like being in a candy shop with girls everywhere, trying to talk to you, grind on you, or just straight harass you. It was magic. I didn't feel the same magic, but however, my trip was still fun. There isn't much action around kings (old rumba), and the old pizza place is now a Chinese store. The bars at the intersection are pretty much empty during the day. Before covid there was easily 500 girls in sosua on weekends (my estimate, I may be wrong), now I am thinking maybe 100 on weekends. And the girls are spread out and walk less. Also, most girls are new girls, new faces. Even some of the hardcore chicas I have seen throughout the years were nowhere to be seen.
I was there for two weekends, and both clubs at the casino in town and the one in playa Chiquita were open. Play Chiquita closed at 2 am, I didn't even notice that there was a curfew. I believe the issue is we still don't have a tonne of tourists in sosua, and I can't see why a tonne of girls would make the trip to sosua if it is harder to make money. There are ceiling fans but no AC so if it is a hot day it can get pretty sweaty- Also. On that topic if you do go to Secretos -there is AC but it gets turned off when the room is not in use. You rent the room for 4 hours- it has been many years since I would have been able to make use of the place for a full four hours. Well maybe a nap after. Anyway - what I do is go pay for the room- get the key- turn on the AC and then go get the girl.

You can't come to Sosua with the same thinking like its going to be the same way as it was a few years back. You got to adjust, especially now more then ever since we're still in a pandemic. So no need to panic, theres still plenty of ladies to be had and once you move down there its going to be even crazier for you. But for now try finding girls earlier during the day so you won't have to hunt as much during the night. NETWORK is and will always be the key in DR. Its all about who you know and who you blow LOL. I know you are NOT doing the blowing so I suggest you start networking with expats down there, chicas that you get in good with will bring her girlfriends next time, hit the local expat clubs (here's a hint find the local clubs where they have karoke night) and not the tourist gringo money trap clubs. And since you're thinking about moving down there next year you should seriously start venturing outside of sosua and head to Puerta Plata. All seriousness even with it not having alot of ladies walking around the beach and the clubs being really slow it shouldn't stop your mojo down there. And I was down there when there was NO nightlife as everything closed at 8 pm and they stop selling alcohol at 3 pm. But again the key is all about who you know. So start networking and if you're not fleunt in spanish get your spanish game up. Knowing spanish is also a HUGE major game changer.

I only need my laptop and good headphones. For videos I used a picture background. I didn't bring my laptop to the beach. At the beach I just used my phone to read emails and chats. But if you have an unexpected call and you are at the beach, you should be able to be back to your hotel in 5 to 10 min.

I was there about a month ago and the clubs were packed on weekends and decent during the week. The casino at playa chiquita and in town were both opened, and both closed at 2 am. I didn't even feel the curfew frankly. And the police doesn't even bother tourists. One time I got back at 4 am. The police stopped my driver and when he saw I was a tourist they just let us go.
I personally didn't see any girls being stopped. I wonder if that's the reason why girls hang out at Bailes now.

In the last six months I've been to Cartagena, Bogota, Medellin, Cali, Sosua, and Boca chica. None of those places are 10 times better than the other. IMHO Cartagena is on the rise as the new or alternate Sosua. I thought I was in Classico Saturday night at club delirium. That's not including club space which is for the less hip-hop club scene.
Due to their harassment by the police; The Chicas are limited on how they can move around in Sosua. In Cartagena Colombia prostitution is excepted as a part of the culture. There are more independent chicas available in Cartagena than currently accessible in Sosua.

You are definitely a sosua die heart and that's cool. I just think that people should understand that every place in the world is being affected by covid19. Anybody who just want to monger should do it because delaying trips is also what killing the prices. People just need to go somewhere DR, Brazil, Columbia, Thailand etc.
I am definitely considering Cartagena for one of my next trips. The only reason I went with sosua on my last trip is I got tired of looking for girl friendly airbnbs or hotels. Since the number of days I can monger every year are limited, I just go with convience and ease. Sosua was great since I didn't burn any of my time off.

The Dominicans are on their home field, so they can just give bad service or rip you off and go home to their family. It is the same thing in Colombia with the Venezuelan refugees. We used the bus system and guaguas to get there. First to Santiago, then la Vega, and finally Jarabacoa. Doing it this way takes about half a day, or you could rent a car and do it in about two hours. Either way you'll want to spend the night in town and venture out in the morning. We stayed at Hotel Jaraba, low price, close to restaurants and grocery stores, and a short walk from the guaguas station.

I had a great first trip, going all over the island, into some remote areas, and into Sosua three times during my stay. I never had any problems, was welcomed into people's homes, and had many unique experiences in the countryside. In Sosua, whenever I wanted a girl, there was never a shortage, day or night. In the last six months I've been to Cartagena, Bogota, Medellin, Cali, Sosua, and Boca chica. None of those places are 10 times better than the other. IMHO Cartagena is on the rise as the new or alternate Sosua. I thought I was in Classico Saturday night at club delirium. That's not including club space which is for the less hip-hop club scene.
Due to their harassment by the police; The Chicas are limited on how they can move around in Sosua. In Cartagena Colombia prostitution is excepted as a part of the culture. There are more independent chicas available in Cartagena than currently accessible in Sosua.

Hangler here. I'll be in Sosua next week looking for some relaxation and some fun on the side. I've been reading some of the reports (thanks to everyone who contributed) and with any luck, I'll be adding some of my own.
This will be my first time in the DR. Unfortunately I don't speak Spanish, but I'm hoping Google translate will help. However, what I'm really looking for is for some partners in crime who would like to meet up for a drink, dinner, whatever (I'm traveling solo, post divorce. Long story which I'll be happy to share).
Are there any members here who'll be there or already there and wouldn't mind showing me some do's and don'ts? Much appreciated in advance!

I saw two midgets working, one was very ugly and I won't say the other one was cute, but I'm not a midget connosier, but bizarre seeing two midgets working, as just seeing one is a rare event.
Lots of guys out and lots of weird antics with the cops on the Strip. Cestur would come down the Strip in a truck, and when some of the girls would see the truck coming they would run up the street and hide. A group of them went inside the Taxi stand on the corner, the cops kinda set up a checkpoint near there for awhile, and they would randomly grab Chicas and put them in the back of their truck. And these poor girls were hosed, on their phones in tears. Totally bizarre, random, and what a violation of human rights. I haven't been here that long but have heard about how random things have been as to how they determine who to grab.
Maybe somebody here with more time on the ground can explain this, yet this thread seems pretty dead.
Went to Playero this morning and nobody is allowed in unless they have proof of being vaccinated and an ID.
I made a photocopy of my Passport with the vaccination card and no problem getting in with a copy. And according to the cashier, business was way down this first day of the new law.
I don't know what the requirements are for restaurants and hotels, but if my Chicas are required to show proof of vaccination to get in a Hotel, I'm going to leave the Country.

Last Thursday, I was in Sosua and a girl came to visit me. She was actually introduced by someone I know, who brought her. They came from a campo about 45 minutes away and given the traffic, they showed up just about midday. I had asked both for lunch but the one who did the intro, was not feeling well and left after about 20 minutes. The new girl, did not leave until 4 PM and also left the kitchen spic and span after lunch. It just so happened that I had three sessions within that time period, with her, something that has not happened to me in a long time and especially because, I did not think my body could repeat an act like that three times, within the span of a couple of hours, given also our lunch and other breaks. All I have, by the way of explanation, was that the girl was very quickly turned on and was very vocal which in turn worked well on me. Looking back, I think, the very fact that the woman was as much into it, and it was very palpable that she was truly enjoying it, I presume helped me do what I did, despite age and BTW, no pills. I felt pretty good about it. Indeed felt like crowing about it, that day itself but did not have the time while there to do this bit of writing.

One bar was a sublease and the owner wanted the property back. Another owner doubled the lease. Dominicans want the property back as tourism is increasing and people are getting vaccinated. Also there is a rumor that a big hotel is planned for the beach which I doubt, but who really knows. This all is strange before the busy Halloween weekend. Classico's is not open yet but it's coming some say.

How do the two compare IYHO?Hands down Colombia does not even come close to the DR when it cones to the beaches and there are some good restaraunts around, but when it comes to the Chicas, it's like night and day for me personally, but I;ve had a few that were great in the DR, but I think the consistency of the women in Colombia is much better than the Dominicans as you noted, and know that some of the Haitians can be very good, but I don't have much experience with them.
I would not recommend Colombia to anyone who does not have some Spanish speaking skills. Also, Medellin which is my home base, does not cater to foreigners like the DR does, hence there are a lot of very hardened chicas working Sosua.
I roll different than you do as I don't do the discos or nightclubs, so understand why you consider it the new Sosua.
But in reality, Cartagena is probably the worst mongering venue in Colombia.

Santa Marta is a better option and a lot cheaper, but not as user friendly as Cartagena. The difference being that in Cartagena the clients of the girls are foreigners, where as in other parts of the Country the clients are primarily locals.
But like I said, your right about Cartagena being the closest thing to Sosua and it; s unfortunate and I am forming my opinion now how much Sosua has gone downhill. It's very sad!
I just returned from Cartagena and its is not a nice place to vacation IMHO. The beaches are dirty and cocaine is everywhere however it beats Sosua as far as Chica selection.

Even the ATM 400 peso fee make me go back to Colombia sonner then planed. But not possible to compare Africans (DR) to European origins (Colombia).
