Our two former critics of the "shithouse" where one wouldn't be "dragged to", and the other, the "man in the arena" of the big traffic jam, have recently discovered the finer points of the "puta pueblo".

Its like a broken record that continures to skip to the same beat year after year and its f#ing annoying. Bottomline, Subcmdr is correct, Sosua is what you make it. With sosua you have to adjust to the carribean madness, NOT get frustrated when things go sideways, stay cool but firm when it comes to your money and keep searching because you can still find some really nice hidden gems.

Did weekend trip and enjoyed my time. This might have been my swan song so I did mostly old favorites. On Friday night Rumbas had the largest crowd I have ever seen in all the years have been going. Over 100 guys way more girls. The numbers were strong but quality not great. When you have couple of 100 women to chose from you can fine something you like. I have several friends who are living in Sosua It was fun just hanging out. I have been going to Sosua for over 10 years and have had only 4 attempted scammers. I am grateful for having experience Sosua hay day.. I got sex with some gorgeous women. Sosua is not perfect but for what you get it is a great bang for the buck. Sosua has changed much over the years but still provides a great environment for our sport. The nay sayers puzzles me. The vast majority of girls are some what vulnerable to me. They are trying hard to make buck. I have had a great run but father time is whispering in my ear. Sosua will always be one of my favorite places.
Last day in Sosua was a dud. Had another trash experience early in the morning as a young chica came by the spot. Won't go blow by blow, but could tell she had no experience pleading a man and was just there for the money. Damage - DOP 4 K. I know, I'm an idiot. Told her what I wanted and she half heartedly did that shit. Tried to end the session early multiple times given here terrible attitude, but wouldn't leave. It was Mother's day, so my gem from Day 3 went back to Santo Domingo. We both regretted not spending more time with each other as it was a really good match.

That said, it's more of a show then the performance you will get in bed. If I were to do DR again (that is a huge if. Can get the broader selection of Chicas in Madrid for better prices, service and no bullshit). I would do the following:
1. Come here to research the pricing and service (and set a budget).
2. Pre-wire / cupid using Facebook. Good for vetting the girl, testing her limits and making my offer. I prefer GFE / PSE sex and am happy to sacrifice variety for excellent performance.
3. Look for Girl next door / civilian types and ditch the chicas. Chica mindset is horrible. Those ladies walk the streets / beaches all day and are flat out tired by the time they get chosen. Then if they are crediting (many of them are, they rush the service to get the money and hit the strip again for the next client. I don't want the chicas, I want the Girl next door who is curious about the foreign stranger and could use a nice escape to a luxury villa and some money on the side. She's likely not jaded by the whole chica experience and I would have had the time to vet her at my leisure prior to landing.
4. Get a small gift (cheap smart phone, lingerie, perfume, etc.) as a sign of good will.
5. (Optional). Screen for STD's and birth control. I prefer going bareback which is a non starter with a chica.
What I listed above isn't for everyone, but I enjoy quality service from highly motivated GND women and I believe that is the way to get it. Sosua isn't dead to me, but it's on life support. I don't want another date with a chica. Just great times with a pretty GND girl who actually enjoys sex.
Appreciate the advice from the seniors on this board and hope that you appreciate the fact that I implemented the feedback in real time and reported on the results. ISG is an incredible resource for us mongers and I want to keep the information fresh and useful for thr community.
One more thing do not come here on DR'S mother's day if your are in search of chicas. You will get a skeleton crew of Haitians, Venezuelans and other foreigners. Not necessarily bad, but the variety won't be as great.

I have not been to this forum in a while and so today it was entertaining reading, after a small hiatus, the various exchanges.
I thought I would put my thoughts for what they are worth.
1. I love Sosua. There. I said it. Someone here mentioned the four reasons and I would reiterate it. It is a) for proximity (a direct 4 hour flight for me even though the frigging Jetblue milks that privilege to the hilt), b) for the variety of food. I love hamburgers but once every two months would be fine, even three or four. Sosua offers a smorgasbord of other kind of cuisine that is not fried potato or barbecued meat, c) for the women. Starting with my arrival a long time back, I never picked (well. Almost never) from the street (a Brit friend did the intro in the beginning) for the reasons cited by many and I find women (well the girl next door is a good and ambitious goal but one can get there, with time) that are pleasant, who I can even cook a meal for, drink with and dance when the mood takes over; 4) The Beach. I tried Santiago (I could not breathe in SD) but nope, the water and the breeze does wonders for me.
2. In my previous life, I have been to plenty of places across the globe for corporate travel all the way to AUS / NZ and even Tahiti. I had to resort to speaking to the women in English in Asia which is not exactly their tongue (Bar Aus / NZ) and the language makes a HUGE difference. It is a delight when I am in front of the Fountain of Trevi, to speak to my fellow countrymen, when I rarely say "Hello" at my place to a stranger. A language is a huge game changer and I can say this based on my personal experiences. I loved Indonesia (which most would not know where to find on the map) probably the most but even there the language was a barrier. In a country, where I can speak the language, and this would be true for the whole of South America, bar Brazil, I can absolutely find a different experience, essentially because of the language but also perhaps for another reason:
3. The age thing is looked at differently in South / Central America (and of course the money an older fellow brings makes a difference too). I cannot speak for Asia despite having lived in Singapore, as I only consorted with paid creatures, available at the usual places.
For me, the language, cultural awareness and other intangibles and especially time, made it such that I can ask for recommendations and often times, it happens without it being a zero sum game for any of the women. Indeed I have even referred some of them to my friends here on the forum and they were always pleased (bar one time, several years back).
Of course, those that are not pleased with Sosua, are going to go to where they feel like but for me, Sosua is wonderful. I keep thinking about going to the "other great places" that people on this forum keep mumbling about. Hey, I guess the grass is always greener somewhere. I remember there was an English lad perhaps not even thirty then, who was the Manager at Casa Valeria which I used to frequent. He used to come knock on my door saying, "There's a young lady, waiting outside for you". Sosua is that user friendly. Simple question about pricing in Madrid: how do you get it better?My experience in Sosua this past weekend taught me that time is irrelevant and that you need to negotiate specific acts and outcomes. Regardless of whether it's one hour or two, as soon as you nut, the chica is putting her clothes back on. For TDL you will likely get a second one in the morning.
In Madrid you pay 50 EUR for 30 minutes which translates to one nut with all the acronyms I want: BBJ, DATY, DFK, etc. Depending on the girl, alot of that stuff is standard. None of this CBJ bullshit. 80 Eur gets you an hour and two nuts.

Most of the threads are similar, some love, some hate. But always back and forth, makes you wonder why so much fighting. We know some of the girls come on here too, it's a free site. That being said, I've travelled many places, some remote, some near and far. DR is 2-3 hours flight; and to some it up, prices, girls, both looks and attitudes are comparative to the US, not in a good way. Beaches when clean, island vibe, and ice cold beer are plenty. But for the monger, this place is the shits. I can be bias because these aren't the typical girls I like. Mostly fat, and ugly. There are some gems but far and few, and prices go from 2500 pesos to 200 USD. That's right $200 usd bc why the fuck not. Gringo prices or not, I am sick of the banter that is required. The more haggling the quality of time drops. So I would give my average prices of 2500, they take it or leave it. No $200 to $100 usd BS. This is definitely a third world country and I refuse to pay america prices. That definitely the biggest sore spot of the DR. Combined with everyone else trying to scam and swindle you, the trust factor just cannot be obtained, and manifests through the whole experience.
I went to sosua in June, prob not the best month, but it was hot, and going outside between 10 to 5 pm is not suggested. Things close at 1. 1:30 am; just like america so the window of fun is very short. I could really only stand going out after 8 pm.
First girl I met on Sunday night at Classico or disco 59. Saw her after a ladyboy kept trying to lick my neck. Cutest girl I saw all night and was with a friend. Waved her over and exchanged pleasantries, offered both girls a Presidente. I started to chat with her, talking about glasses, babies, whatever crap I can muster. She wasn't too rejecting of the flirting so took my chance to see how much long time was with her. She hits me with 200 usd, and I was shocked and laughed. I am thinking 5 mil, she only wanted 5 mil for short time. Immediately that ended discussions even with a 2500 counter. She wanted at least 100 usd, like she lives in the US. Going to the Sosua and judging the entire Dominican Republic by what you see there is like going to Las Vegas and judging the entire United States of America by what you see on Las Vegas Blvd. The Dominican Republic is not a third world country. Only the misinformed use that term. The Dominican Republic is a middle income nation. Learn some Spanish. Bring your A personality game. Actually visit regular parts of the Dominican Republic and the impressions formed by those experiences may be different than the ones formed by a brief visit to Sosua.
Full disclosure: I did not initially like Sousa either. But now it is my go to vacation spot.

I want to plan a trip to Sosua this summer. It will be just me, and it will be my first time in DR. I like to go big or go home. That and I'm fluent in Spanish.
I'll be reading through the forums, but if anyone wants to DM any advice I'll read that, too. I need to figure out where to stay, when to go, cheap flights, etc. And obviously anything and everything about the chicas.

Sosua has so many visitors from the United States of America making videos about the quality and price of the pussy they find in Sosua that the Minster of Tourism is on a crusade to rid Sosua of street prostitution. So you have heard what they say about Sosua and you’re still making the trip brave man.All experiences vary. Just because one has a bad hair day so to speak does not ruin plan for all others. Although I have not gone there since Covid I had very good time before. I do rent a car which gives me various opportunities to travel and get girls sometimes just by the side of the road pick up. Even in bars many girls seem mercenary there are some nice ones to be had. Cost wise it has gone up all over the world. Idea is to have a very good time within reasonable cost. Supply of girls who earn money by prostitution has gone down quite a bit all over the world because of improved education and economy. I remember on weekends In Sosua there were literally hundreds of girls coming some from as far as Sanyo Domingo, La Vega to make money. That supply has gone way down according to reports.
Bottom line is do not be put off by others experience. Try by diving in. If nothing else you have a tropical vacation.

Rico was a great contributor to the game and I really liked his style about how he did things in life. Seemed like a great guy. He posted often about Sosua and always spoke the truth. It's a shame this guy was the epitome of health just a year ago and it looked like his heart went bad and he passed very recently.

He was a guy I checked in with every time I went to Sosua. He would tell me the new spots and I would always see him in the rotation. Starting out front of Mamaguanas (where Brooklyn at), then Romanitas and finishing at the late spot after hours. Talked to him recently and he was heading to the States for a procedure. He never complained. He was an asset to the travel community and a friend to everybody. RIP brother and thanks for all the good memories.

On the third day of the trip I met a beautiful Haitian girl on Pedro. We negotiate for ST, and during our chat, my buddy interrupts us. He's Haitian as well, and was half in the bag at this point. He invites us both back to his restaurant on the beach for a drink. He knows I'm a sucker for Brugal rum. I shrug my shoulders and look at her. She's up for a drink, so we walked to the deserted beach (it was around 11:00 pm at this point). My buddy said he knew this girl back in Haiti, and that she was a good girl, just up here in need of money. She was twenty-four, no kids, and had been in Sosua about six months.
During our drinking my buddy says he had to go back to Haiti to update his visa (something all legal Haitians must do each month to stay in the DR). But, he was two days late and didn't have the 2,500 pesos to pay the late fee. If he's caught, he gets deported. I was half in the bag at this point as well, and told him I'the pay for his visa if he took me into Haiti with him. I probably wouldn't have said that sober, but I'the never been there before. On top of that, I ask the girl if she wants to go (haven't even banged her yet). She said yes, and we planned to leave in the morning.
The Haiti side trip has its own crazy story, but this is about the girl. She ends up staying the night (the sex was great) with me. In the morning the three of us travel all day via two shared taxis and a bus to reach the border, cross on foot, then by motos to our destination. I've been in this game for years. It made me an animal. There's rules to this shit. I wrote me a manual. A step-by-step booklet for you to get your two balls drained while many pesos remain.

Plan a trip to Puerta Plata. And get off the strip into the regular part of Sosua for a different change of pace. My advice is that pussy is pussy. Stay focused on the deal and not the girl. Keep an abundance mindset. There is a pussy out there at the price point you want to pay if you hold frame and let the negotiation get accomplished with your upper head.
Here is the two-day side trip I took to Haiti. As I mentioned in my last report this was an idea born out of a night drinking rum with my Haitian buddy on the beach. He needed to renew his visa. I was going to help him pay the late fee and in return he'the take me into Haiti. My girl (who at the time I had just met) was coming with us. As a side note, I wouldn't attempt this without the company of an inside man. Because my buddy was Haitian, he could speak both French and Creole (neither of which I know), he knew the route, the ins and outs at the border, and how to safely navigate once inside the country. Southern Haiti is basically a war zone right now controlled by gangs with automatic weapons. This violence has not yet reached the north, which was where we crossed.
First, we had to get to the border. I had the idea of renting a car. So, we met the next morning at one of the rental places in Sosua. Unfortunately, there was a catch: they needed me to leave my passport there. Obviously, I needed that to get into Haiti, and I couldn't tell the guy I was taking one of his rental cars there, or it would be a definite no. I offered any other compensation, but this guy was firm on the passport, so there would be no rental car.
My buddy said we could take public transport. It would take all day, but we'the get there. The journey would consist of two shared taxis and a bus. In the second taxi, about half an hour into the ride, I heard a faint thumping sound, and the car began to vibrate. Soon after, the car dropped sharply, and sparks showered against the driver's side of the car. The car swerved into oncoming traffic, which forced other vehicles to swerve out of the way, and then shot back over to our side of the road before stopping next to a ditch. After putting my heart back in my chest, I got out of the car to see what the hell happened. The front driver's side tire had flown off and was sitting in the ditch behind us about 200 feet back. I included a picture.
Between not being able to get a rental car and this tire incident, I wondered if the travel gods were trying to tell me something about traveling to Haiti. The driver of the taxi called back to his station to send another vehicle to get us. In total, this mishap set us back an hour. We continued to the bus station, catching the bus to the border, which was thankfully uneventful.
It was just getting dark when we arrived at the Ouanaminthe-Dajaband border crossing. This was pure chaos. There was a form to fill out (bring your own pen and use the wall for a desk), along with official and "unofficial" fees thanks to the color of my skin (they would hold my passport behind steel bars until I paid this unofficial fee). There were two immigration offices to go through, one on each side of the border. Actually crossing the bridge over the Massacre River (that's really its name) I had to show my passport at least half a dozen times. There was also a group of guys that stood in our way. My buddy looked down, not even daring to look them in the eye. He said, "You need to give them a little money. " When your inside man is scared, it's best to take his advice. I gave the lead guy 200 pesos, which I guess was enough to appease him, since they nodded and walked away.
Going across the bridge into Haiti was in stark contrast to the DR side: people in tattered clothes, garbage scattered around, and just a general rundown appearance in the condition of everything. But it was the people I kept my eyes on. They stared at me (since I stuck out like a sore thumb) with dead eyes and followed us. Have you ever had one of those moments where you think, "What the fuck did I just do?" This was one of those times.
As the people crowded around us in a 360-degree circle, everyone was speaking at once in Creole. My buddy and my girl hung onto each one of my arms and were yelling back at the people as we pushed through them. We caught two motorbikes and drove out of there into the center of town. Thankfully, once we got into town the attitudes of people seemed to ease. Yes, I was still stared at constantly, but it wasn't with those dead eyes. Some people just started following me around out of curiosity. By now it was completely dark and there weren't many lights on in the street. The first order of business was to change some money into Haitian Gourdes and find a place to stay for the night.

Changing money on the street was the only option at this point. Here in the border town Dominican pesos were accepted, but I needed Haitian gourdes for going further into the country. I also received a crash course in the Haitian dollar. Haitians will tell you prices of things in "dollars". At first, I thought they meant US dollars, but no, they meant Haitian dollars. Here's the catch: they don't exist, it's a mythical currency. My buddy said that one "dollar" is equal to five gourdes. So, whenever I was told the price of something, I had to multiply it by five, and pay that amount in gourdes. Confused yet?
I secured a room for my girl and I at the Constellation Hotel, based on my buddy's recommendation. He said it was the most secure in town with a steel gate at roadside and a 24/7 guard armed with a shotgun. The price for a basic room was the equivalent of 50 bucks. I was finding prices here were similar or a little higher than in the DR. My buddy was staying with a friend for the night. We had looked at three rooms with AC units, but none of them worked. Finally, we settled on a room with a fan that did work.
For dinner we went to a little eatery across the way (my growing entourage following). It was a good dinner consisting of chicken, rice (with some kind of sauce), beans, and fried plantains. They also have this great rum called Barbancourt that comes in flask-sized bottles. The only unnerving part of the meal was the six Haitians that had accumulated around our table who were watching me eat. They just sat there staring at me. About halfway through the meal I just couldn't finish it. I felt like some privileged asshole eating a nice meal, while these people were obviously hungry, but couldn't afford one. I offered the last couple pieces of chicken and half my rice to them. The food disappeared in a matter of seconds.
That night the three of us went out to a "dance club". I use that term loosely. My girl was wearing a little dress she had picked out from a street vendor that cost me around 5 bucks, well worth it to see how much she liked it, and how good she looked in it. Dodging the mud puddles in the light drizzle we arrived at a little dilapidated building off the main road. There were a couple speakers playing the typical fare for the area, no door to the establishment, a bar the size of a shower stall (with three stools), three plastic tables, six plastic chairs (three of which were broken), and a large mud puddle in the entranceway. There were about ten people hanging around, some sitting. The three of us sat down at one of the tables with drinks. There was one light on in the front of the place and a little disco light in the back that shot out multiple-colored lights on the 8'x8' dance floor. There was nobody dancing, so I took my girl by the hand, and we had the whole back of the place to ourselves. My buddy took pics of us with my phone (all of which were blurry since he was already drunk from the rum at dinner). You know, even in that shitty little dive, the two of us got lost in the music, dancing with smiles from ear to ear.
Leaving my buddy, my girl and I made it back to the hotel in the rain. I turned on the fan, since it felt about a hundred degrees in that hot box of a room. All that dirty dancing had riled both of us up. The clothes came off, and we attacked each other like a couple of super magnets. Then, about ten minutes into it, the power cut off. No electricity. I'm in pitch blackness, I've got her in doggy balls deep, and looked up into the darkness as the fan made its last rotations. You've got to be kidding me. I shrugged and kept going, sweating my ass off, while I worked on hers. Afterward, we felt our way to the shower. All we had was cold water, but I was okay with that. We just rinsed off, and then climbed back into bed. I lay on my back sweating profusely. She curled up next to me, put her arm around me and her head on my chest (that's how she likes to fall asleep). Body heat was the last thing I needed, but I just smiled and shook my head. Hey, I was in a new country sleeping next to a naked Haitian goddess. Eventually, exhaustion got the best of me.

By the way, Caribe Express from Sosua would take you to Santiago without a sweat. I. e. , in air conditioned comfort for a piddly 190 pesos or so but perhaps you already know it.

I just read how Haitians are being run out of the the Dr like they have the plague. Last year 75,000 were deported. It is becoming a national past time. Haitians are blamed for every ill in the DR. I once read in a DR paper that 80% of working girls in Sosua were Hatians.
Gangs are running the country with no regard for any authority. They have better weapons than the police. Haiti may be the most fucked up place in the world. Iron my hat is off for you. I bring a small bottle of Ben's bug spray with 30% deet when I go to the tropics. That usually works for me, though I still had some bites in Haiti, like they were laughing at my bug spray.

Fuck those mosquitos.I agree but unfortuantely you can't wear that jacket and pants when you're butt ass naked, full of sweat, smashin a hunny dip froggy style with the moon being your only light at night. That's when they get your ass.
The next morning my buddy met us at the hotel for breakfast. You give the hotel your meal ticket, and they bring out your breakfast. My buddy informed me the food would be whatever they had on hand. After an hour had passed, our food was brought out. It was a plate of cold spaghetti covered in ketchup (I'm guessing they used the ketchup in place of tomato sauce). My buddy said, "You better eat it all, no telling when the next meal is coming. " So, I ate it all.
We had about 5 hours to do a little sightseeing, since we wanted to be back at the border by 3 p to start the long journey back. My buddy said he'the show me the ruins of an old French fort on the shores of the bay. We hopped on 2 moto taxis and took off north toward Fort Liberte Bay. There were only two available at the time. So, my buddy got on the back of one, while my girl and I got on the other. These motos were not set up to carry three people, so my seat was the narrow steel rack on the back of the bike that consisted of three steel bars. There were no pegs to rest my feet, so I had to just hold them up. I put one arm around my girl's waist and the other hand gripped the small corner of the rack behind me for a little stability. The driver took off, dodging potholes, other vehicles, people, and random animals that wandered into the street. At one point, a goat wandered in front of us and the driver had to swerve sharply. I nearly lost my balance and had to clamp down on the bike with my legs. I still have the scab on the inside of my leg from being burned on the bike's exhaust.
Thankfully, that was the only incident, and I never fell off. We stopped at a monument on the way in remembrance of the revolution for freedom. Once we reached the bay (which took about an hour and a half) we got to explore the ruins of Fort Dauphin. There was nobody around, we had the whole place to ourselves. The fort overlooks the bay, and I had a great time climbing through the ruins. Afterward, we checked out a nearby beach where I estimated about 200 kids were playing in the water in respite from the brutal heat.
There were about a dozen guys sitting around this gazebo-like structure. I asked my buddy to ask them if they had any water, since we were out. There was one guy out of the group who stood up, looked at my girl and then back at me, asking if she was with me (in English). I said yes, and a smile creased his face. I guess that bought me acceptance with this group, and the guy made room for all of us to sit. We spoke for about twenty minutes about the situation in Haiti. The guy had a case of water with him that everyone was sharing. He gave us all a bottle apiece, and actually paid for the extra time of having the motos wait for us. They were a great crew and wished us well when we left.
We reached the border a little after 3 p, did the crossing with all the little bullshit fees, and reversed the transportation process to get back to Sosua by 10 p. My girl and I cleaned up in the shower and got into bed. The AC felt great. I closed my eyes looking forward to a good night's sleep, but my girl had other ideas. Sometimes I think she wants it more than I do. I was glad to have made the side trip to Haiti, even if it was only for a couple days. It was worth it just to experience a little of the island's other side. As for my girl, we're still talking on a daily basis. I make trips to Sosua once every three or four months, so I'll be seeing her in early fall. She's a cool girl, never asks me for anything, but I'll help her out a little when I come down. We just have good times. Who knows where it'll lead, but I'll ride this road and see where it takes me.

In 4 days I was already bored out of my mind and seriously considered making it to Haiti for 2-3 days, but then a Haitian waiter in the buffet begged me to reconsider so I did. Rico was a great contributor to the game and I really liked his style about how he did things in life. Seemed like a great guy. He posted often about Sosua and always spoke the truth. It's a shame this guy was the epitome of health just a year ago and it looked like his heart went bad and he passed very recently.
I hope all people posting on this forum are about helping other brothers in the game, that's what Rico really seemed to be about. This game is like the devil and too much of it can really take a toll on your health. All the booze, women, drugs, cialis, etc. Can take its toll very quickly, always remember to play the game safe and moderate and be in it for the long haul.Rico was a friend of mine and we lived across the hall from one another. The "game" had nothing to do with it. He had a hereditary heart condition, his father had the same problem. Originally he was going to have heart surgery here in the DR to correct it but they wanted something like $25 Kusd so he went back to the states, he was a veteran so he didn't have to pay. He was too weak at the time so they wanted him to get stronger first, then they were talking heart transplant but same problem, he wasn't strong enough to survive the surgery so it wasn't performed. RIP hermano.

Thanks a lot.Ian is a great host this was one of the few spots open in Sosua during covid the rooms looked ok and it was cheap didn't stay there myself but drank there plenty of times.

I am not sure I could do 2 weeks in Sosua. Only so many bullets in the gun. I would need to change my approach. I bang 2 or 3 a day. After 5 days I am wore out. Enjoy your trip I always do. Sosua is a great vacation but sadly the talent is not what it once was. 9's and 10's are hard to fine. You really do not need them to have a good time but they add to the ambiance. Finding new places to eat and young pussy never gets old.

Yes, 15 days are a lots kkkk but It is my first time, that it is an I+the, with calm, I will not be fucking all day, I need know the area, restaurants, beachs, bars, girls. No stress, also pass time reading in the pool or on the beach, or as I speak spanish, spend an afternoon with some beers talking with locals. Relax time.
The girls are important so that the holidays are top, but if one night I do not see any that I like, I return alone, I have no problem, to go with a girl that I don't like much or don't have good vibes, I prefer save the money.

This is the old Romanovs for those that don't recognize the name-nice pool it doesn't look bad but I have not seen a room with AC so you will want to confirm that for sure if you are going this time of year- this is a pretty basic hotel but if you're not fussy it might be ok -I always liked the Seabreeze better but they have wrecked the bar there IMO.

Thanks a lot.My best friend used to stay there for 6 months a year, he died there last January of a massive heart attack. Anyway, you couldn't pay me to stay there. No A / see, tiny dorm fridge, etc. And during high season one night a week (not sure which night) they would have ear splitting karaoke until 1:00 am in the morning. Then he had those a-holes with Harleys across the street that would fire up those noisy pieces of shit at all hours of the night. Good things are a nice pool and Starlink internet.

I have pulled a ton of girls out of Blue Ice but haven't stepped foot in the place in a few years. One of by best sessions ever was at Apartahotel Dulce Secreto with Vennie working in Sousa.

The ones closer to Alisha Beach seem to have younger more attractive girls but that is just my option. I have no idea on pricing. I don't counter for ST with FS. My standing bid is 2000 DOP with a 500 DOP bonus. Now I do not recommend that you stick with my pricing. I'm the type that just does not give a fuck and I have plenty of time. Standard ST with FS that most girls will take will be 3000 DOP. But it does not hurt to start low.

Daytime action near the main street and walking the beach. Motos are cheap and girls plentiful. Some girls are hard-core pros. Some Haitians have better service IMO.

For massage places I have none to recommend but there are many along Dr. Rosen all the way down to the Alisha Beach hotel. You are going to be tired from traveling so get a cabana near the airport and chill out. Most are better then your average hotel and you can get food. Santiago has some of the nicest women in the DR. The average SW are 8's. I am not sure what Uber charge to go to Sosua but 80 to 100 is what your looking at if you are lucky. After coming over into POP airport yesterday at 3 p, picked an uber outside the airport toll gate for a lot less ($7 vs $20 inside airport Taxi) and got into my Booking.com hotel near to the strip. Noticed room was dam hot, and no AC. Glad only booked one night for a trail. Got an additional stand fan and managed to take rest and headed over to classico around 8 p. Found a sleek Dominican young 20's. Stacie. Talked over google translator. She asked 3 K. I asked her to get the protection, else it was deal breaker for me. She asked her friends around and in no time secured one. We walked over the 6 blocks talking thru translator all the way. My cheap hotel had a guy waiting to check her ID and took a pic of it. First timer heading to Sosua in late February for 5 days. I want to give a big thanks to this thread, lots of helpful info here. I'll make a report when I'm done there. I kinda want to go over my plan, but feel free to let me know if anything sticks out as dumb. I'll be staying at the Sosua Inn hotel because doing this thing in a ritzy room has always been a dream of mine. Captain Bailee's restaurant is right next to it so options oughta be easy. I already know about how to price simpler stuff, but what would be reasonable for having a girl spend the night / day? Is it hard to get two girls to agree to work it at the same time?
My main concern right now is cab / uber fare. I've got a $500 flight if I land in Santiago airport, but there's a 1 hour and a half drive to the Sosua Inn Hotel. I could go for an $800 flight that lands much closer in the puerto playa airport. In both cases I'd be arriving at like 2 am But I don't mind snoozing in the airport for a few hours until morning. You can get a cab at airport and go to a cabana for few hours of sleep for 20 bucks. Catch the bus in morning and be in Sosua by 11 am. Caribe Tours is 6 dollars to Sosua. Flights to SD are more frequent and cheaper. I got a flight to SD for under $300 round trip. I spend the night having fun. Then catch early bus to Sosua. SD has great Uber service. Officially weed is extremely illegal. Yes you can be in serious shit if you get caught but it is more likely to be a shakedown and you better pay whatever bribe they want. Simple possession can put you in jail if they do press things along. It was a pretty common scam to have someone share a joint with you. They would run away when the cops mysteriously show up. You would be forced to pay the cop. You need to get weed through a gringo who will help at least the first time. This will not be hard it is pretty common there. You just do need to know someone- also. It will not likely be very good. You should also try to be discrete. Everyone knows what goes on but they don't want to see gringos flaunting the law (this is the cause of a lot of problems generally) - the chicas will get you weed but you will definitely pay too much. First 2 nights.
The first night, Wednesday, I went to Rumba, a place with people having dinner and so much light seemed strange to me, I expected a place to have drinks, but it is true that the girls are constantly passing by. I'm just back from five days, and I would have to say that the quantity of thin, young women that I like has increased over recent years. The buses run almost every half an hour. The buses leaving on the half hour are express buses to Sosua and cost 10 dollars for a 4 to 5 hour trip. The buses are comfortable. A cab willl charge between 150 to 200 dollars and take at least 3 an half hours. If you have deep pockets and are in a rush do the taxi. A local would never use a cab. Like taking a cab from New York to Washington. You would need to catch a cab to Caribe tours $30. I just hop on the bus and take a nap.

Last year I realized that Caribe drops you off in Charamicos while Metro bus drops in off in Sosua at Texaco station.

Been to Bangkok, about 30+ times on business (3-4 days visit) and so my perspective there, is very different from what a long term stay person like yourself might encounter. And that's safe? No issues being in a car that long going throug roads and getting jacked?
For money, are their ATMs regularly available and fair? Used to going to ATMs and taking local currency as needed. Not carrying large amounts or keeping it in the room.
Lastly, any good food spots that are a must try!?
Flying into STI is good. But I doubt 3600 is the Uber rate, not to mention Ubers might not be allowed in the airport itself. Taxis at airports are regulated and those may be the only ones available. It might cost $120. That's what I paid from POP to STI last month. Very safe. No one is going to jack you. Also, flights ouit of POP arent as reliable anymore. STI is a much better airport with many more options. People are getting stuck in POP big time. Only one major strip in town. Can't miss it. ATMs only give about 6000 pesos a day I believe--screw ATMs anyway. If you must, use the Banco Popular ATMs or even better use the tellers inside. Bank is across the street from Baileys Diner and change what you need. Bring your Passport to the bank too. Great rate. Beach is another 10 minute walk from the bank. Many new restaurants now and they are DELISH! This only means they are serious about cleaning up the spot for more family vacationers. I saw plenty kids and families and young couples a month ago. Eat at Margots across the street from Que Lo Que cafe by the baseball field. Get the ceviche or the shrimp linguine alfredo. OMGG! A little pricey but you're there for 3 days meng!. Live a little. Just don't bring street meat there. If your the occasional cheapo like me, theres a Pica Pollo (fried food and Chinese very cheap) on the main big road across the street from the big Playero Supermarket there. Or just simply ask the girls, they know who delivers fast spanish food. Sosua is so small. You'll be able to do all this in an hour!! Happy slinging!!
Not sure how much Uber cost close to 100 I would think. There are buses that cost 5 dollars that run all day. If saving money is important catch the bus I do. The only issue is the arrival times are terrible often very late night. Depending on what time flight arrives will determine your best options for travel.

Some of my favorite restaurants in Sosua. Pirates Bay, Margots, Germany Restaurant, and Stevens for pastries.
I also recommend the restaurant inside the Hotel El Rancho about 200 feet from the New Garden.

Also selection of active users is quite limited. More efficient option to go out at night collect a bunch of numbers and make an educated choice on the spot.
In the past there were just more and better. Never the less the scene is fine. Not as many 9 and 10 as in the past but plenty of attractive women The only thing you need in Sosua is cash money. My problem in Sosua is that there more women there then I can bang. I always leave wishing I could have hit a few more. 1000's of guys go to Sosua every year and return because they had a great time. The problem is you don't want to travel to the capital to meet them, they don't want to travel to the North Coast at all or without a substantial offer on the table, and you don't want to explicitly communicate your offer in writing. Anyway, it can be fun to browse. Practically to source companionship from the capital while in SOS is a loosing proposition. So, I know what I see is not everything is there, but still prefer to get what I see.

Almost everything of visual quality profiles are in the capital. You can virtually settle yourself in Santiago DLC to cover all the country. The problem is you don't want to travel to the capital to meet them, they don't want to travel to the North Coast at all or without a substantial offer on the table, and you don't want to explicitly communicate your offer in writing. Anyway, it can be fun to browse. Practically to source companionship from the capital while in SOS is a loosing proposition. So, I know what I see is not everything is there, but still prefer to get what I see.

I land in Santo Domingo next Friday at 430 pm. I hope I can get to a bus that leaves Santo Domingo that evening and heads up to Puerto Plata or Sosua. It seems there is a 7 pm bus. I don't know how long the airport takes there.

I've decided against flying to a different airport. Yeah can deal with a bus and all that. But not relaxing to me on a vacation. And the Ubers in the end will save maybe 100 $. But take up about 4 hours of a 3 night vacation. So into POP it is.

Please note the ATM fees will be extreme, so plan accordingly. There are several banking institutions that offer reimbursement for ATM fees. If you travel abroad on a regular basis, I strongly advise you to pursue such. I use Chas. Schwab and have it down to a science. I have traveled extensively and never, ever depart for a foreign destination without 3 methods to obtain local currency: 1) Order in advance and bring with, 2) Bring USDs and convert and 3) Use my Chas. Schwab to pull from any available Bank.
I will be in the POP area from 6-13 Oct, let me know if you want to meet up.

I have been watching Sousa videos for years and this is the place that got me interested in our hobby in the USA and now trying for the first time internationally. Can somebody tell me if this is a good idea. Is there any short term hotel or room I can use so I can have some fun while I'm here. I'm really hoping I can pull this off bc I'm going to Cuba in a few weeks then next year Europe's and hopefully the big daddy Thailand. So sadly the dr is no longer high on my list. You check the goody / ies and then invite. A sane person should invite for a drink or water, that gets you an opportunity to size up the other (I wonder what they did in the pre google translate days though, but digressing). BM.Well. You can hit Sosua in the afternoon and you might luck out with a gem but the action usually warms up as the day and night go on- anyway. It is doable. Hotel Central on the strip will give you a room short term for 500 pesos. You should be able to find a girl. Be aware that the trip can take longer than an hour. The bridge in Cangrejo is out and the detour can get pretty bad traffic jams sometimes. If you are just looking to get laid stay in Puerto Plata and go to Blackbeards. If you have to see Sosua then you should be able to get the job done- you might spend an hour getting some advice in a bar before you pull one.

I would agree with the other respondent that given the shortage of time, POP is better. However, for me, I only have one direct flight to POP per week. Do not know where you are flying in from, but for me, STI (also a direct) is always an early morning arrival. Like 3 AM and while I use a driver, do not want to be driven at night. However, it is very safe, physical safety wise. There is another app called InDriver, which is worth trying rather than Uber. If you must reach via STI, it is worthwhile sleeping at a short term hotel and start early morning. The drive time is between 2-3 hours and there are two ways to do it. Mountain road, shorter and a highway, much longer.
No idea about ATM. But others might chime in. I carry cash. Perfectly safe.
Sosua is a town where there are a lot of resident Europeans and hence there are a lot of European food, authentic Italian, German are pretty popular not to speak of ubiquitous hamburgers, as well as Dominican food. For being a seaside town, the seafood options are not particularly good.
