Sure these ladies have no education but survive living day to day. Had your arrogant ass had the misfortune to be born in the Dr it would be interested to see how you would do. I was fortunate as two of my best friends did not make it and one is serving 40 to life on a double murder charge and another friend was shot and paralyzed by the police on a fake robbery charge. I have passion for people, but I am from the streets and I have seen it go bad a lot of times. If you feel so sorry for those girls then help them do something better in life. While I am not saying that all these girls are brilliant, I don't think, from my expereince mongering, that the average working girl is less intelligent than the average person. In fact, when you realize how many of the above menteiond problems many of these women have you can have empathy toward them AND realize that they are totally not relationship material, and often not trustworthy.

I find it interesting reading some of these posts and decided to put in my few cents worth. As far as bringing a chica back home and marrying one, well, I would think there being 99% chance of this backfiring one way or the other. The nice thing I find about places like Dominican is that the country is still poor and generally the people in these places have a different mentality than in more fortunate places. Don't get me wrong, I am under no impression that a lot of them are great con artists and not innocent, but just saying that their circumstances give them a different outlook. It does not take long after arriving in North america or wherever that this different outlook goes out the window and the person becomes same as any other north american chica. Ie. Would not give most of the guys that go down to Sosua a second look. Lets face it. Why do most of us go down there. I am willing to bet that a large portion of Sosua visitors have trouble getting it back home one way or the other. Or just choose not to pursue a relationship whith a woman back home. When these women use men for money, it is doubtful whether that many have an attachment to one who can't provide any. As far as the drugs side goes, I think it is hard to estimate. Having worked with drug addicts in other countries my general impression is that polysubstance abuse is common and that people who are addicted to substances also tend to drink alcohol and smoke tobacco a lot. Just like in any other circumstance, there are many personal factors at play. Some probably do it to feed their kids and support their families and others do it to support bad habits. And there is probably as many other reasons as there are putas. I don't pretend to be an expert on the mob in the DR, but from what I see, at least in Sosua, the presence of undesirables like pimps and hardcore crack addicts does not seem as rampant as I have seen in many North American and European cities. I am sure all this is present there, especially in the larger cities, although to what extent I am not sure. I do however agree with OldKool when it comes to showing the girl you are with a nice day. Let's be serious here; if you guys are so appalled with what is going on then you should surrender your passports to the nearest customs agency and delete your ISG account. Until then, let's stop the pool-pit'in. We all know what we are in this for. The game gets used by both sides: men and women. Nobody is twisting anyone's arm; all are willing participants.
As others have mentioned, not all women in the DR have to trick to get by. Some will do it to eat; others strictly for the money and attention. I don't think one can put all the chicas in one basket. Just like in any other circumstance, there are many personal factors at play. Some probably do it to feed their kids and support their families and others do it to support bad habits. And there is probably as many other reasons as there are putas. I don't pretend to be an expert on the mob in the DR, but from what I see, at least in Sosua, the presence of undesirables like pimps and hardcore crack addicts does not seem as rampant as I have seen in many North American and European cities. I am sure all this is present there, especially in the larger cities, although to what extent I am not sure. I do however agree with OldKool when it comes to showing the girl you are with a nice day. I really don't think all these girls are doing this to feed their kids. The vast mayority do it because it is easy money. 500 dollars is round about 20000 pesos with this amount of money you can make a decent living here in the D. R. For salaries up to 28000 pesos there is no income tax in the D. R.

A few years after I first went to the DR I discovered Brazil and I haven't been back to the DR since. LOL. However I've been hearing a lot about Sosua lately so I've decided to try it out. A bottle of small presidente costs me 50 pesos, a grande 65 pesos, a jumbo (1 liter) 100 pesos, a bottel of water 10 pesos, a bottle of coke 15 pesos. You will get a decent meal for 150-200 pesos. You can rent out a decent apartment for 6k pesos+. There is no beaches in the city of San Christobal, but the beaches of najayo and palenque are a 20 minute drive away. There is p4p available in San Christobal behind the baseball arena, an area which is not considered to be safe. Once you live here, you will not have to deal with hookers.

This is my report from my recent trip to new garden it will not have photos but it will give my honest insight to the place. I've checked the liquor across from the bank on Pedro Clisante with no luck. I've even ask the Haitians in and around Sosua to no avail. I don't mind drinking Brugal or any other rum for that matter it's just that they give me a killer hangover, and fucks with performance the day after.

The op's question was specific to San Cristobal. Answer (s) seem to generalize the entire country. I've been to SC many times and a small town near it where my girlfriend was from. It has the same name as another city in the country but one is on the map and the other isn't. As per the original inquiry, assuming you are white, you will be the only white guy within 5 miles of where you contemplate living at. Just not many around. I never saw one in several trips there. Just out of curiosity, I wonder what the typical career span for a working girl in the DR is. Since you guys are on the rum topic, does anyone know where one can find Haitian rum (Barbancourt specifically) in Sosua. I've checked the liquor across from the bank on Pedro Clisante with no luck. I've even ask the Haitians in and around Sosua to no avail. Are there ATM available at Black Beards and New Garden. From what I have read I can exchange money at a place called Jennies supermarket that is supposed to be close to BB is this correct. Also from what I have read I can get Viagra at both BB and at Jennies supermarket. Is this also correct, if so what is the price per pill. Where can I exchange money and get Viagra when I am staying at the New Garden in Sosua. Also from what I have read the rate at BB is 1500 for short time 2 hrs and 3000 for TLN is this correct. Do not change money in the US. Bring $100 bills and ATM card. You can change cash at the BanReservas on the OUTDOORS concourse at the Puerto Plata airport. There is also an ATM there.
The taxi fare is reasonable. Airport taxis are also expensive in the US. To go to Sosua, depending on how much baggage you have, you can get a taxi or motoconcho into Puerto Plata to the Metro Bus station and that will take you cheaply from Puerto Plata to Sosua and drop you at the terminus that is only about 250 yards walk to New Garden.
You do not need a map of Sosua. It is just a small place of a few blocks. Belki's is right outside New Garden. Banco Popular has 2 ATMs and is about 1 minute walk from New Garden. Viagra and various similar drugs from about $1 per pill upwards depending on brand or lack of brand. All pharmacies have loads of them. Try the Crystal Pharmacy next to the Coca Cola Factory, across from Rum bonded warehouse, which you will pass on the main road on the way into Puerto Plata from the airport. (Tell the driver.) You can get Viagra at any of the pharmacies in Sosua, or at Latino Supermarket if you want the cheapest generic.

ChrisIf you are going to BB's 1st, DO NOT change money at airport as their rate is considerably lower than anywhere else. The taxi you set-up with BB's will take $45 US money. You can have him Stop at Jennies once you enter gates of Costambar. AND YES Jennies exchange rate is On-Par with the Banks rate. BB's also will change your money but of course their rate will take a few pesos off current rate, SO my advice is to have cab stop at Jennies to echange, Very good people, as I have exchanged many times.
The $45 rate from POP to BB's is reasonable considering it is alot further from POP to BB's than POP to Sosua.
The best place to change money in sosua by far is the local Western Union.

To go to Sosua, depending on how much baggage you have, you can get a taxi or motoconcho into Puerto Plata to the Metro Bus station and that will take you cheaply from Puerto Plata to Sosua and drop you at the terminus that is only about 250 yards walk to New Garden.Good post, Frannie, but I would only query this bit. Unless he knows for sure the departure time of a Metro bus he could find himself waiting a long time at the Metro depot. At some points in the day there is a two-hour gap between buses. He could go to Caribe Tours which is nearer to Blackbeards, but then he would finish in Los Charamicos.
I suggest the better course would be to take a moto or cab to the Parada de Sosua (alongside the Hospital) and take a publico (shared taxi) from there. For extra comfort, pay double fare and occupy the whole front seat for 90 pesos. I am returning to Sosua in two weeks "to get it out of my system". I am planning on seeing the same girl. But even then it blew me off as I thought women there are a lot more available than in my experience in the US and Europe. Are there ATM available at Black Beards and New Garden. From what I have read I can exchange money at a place called Jennies supermarket that is supposed to be close to BB is this correct. Also from what I have read I can get Viagra at both BB and at Jennies supermarket. Is this also correct, if so what is the price per pill. CheersIn stayed at the New Garden and D'Piero's. Both will take and honor reservations via email without a deposit. I'm not sure if they accept CCs. Email them and ask. Pesos are king in the DR. Most motels, restaurants, bars & shops do not accept CC or charge a high surcharge. Bring enough cash to cover your expenses. It is easy to convert US dollars to Pesos. Using ATMs are an alternative. They are all over Sosua but sometimes they can be difficult to use. My advices reserve a room via email in any of the monger motels without making a deposit and bring cash.
I wish I know this Web site before my first trip to sosua by reading most of the post and comments I realize I over paid on everything. Let's begin with my ride from Santiago to sosua that guy charge me $130 to bring me to sosua because I had and overnight flight. He brought me to a place in Puerto Plata to pick up a girl around 2:30 am thats the time we get to Puerto Plata after 1:30 hr driving I payed $140 for that girl but thank God she's very beautiful with a fat ass I thought she deserve it but when I found out the normal price for the street girls I wanted to cry because I could of get 3 girls for that price LOL.

By the way, I haven't taken a taxi from Santiago to Sosua in about 6 years, but the last time I did, the price was $40 each way.I think fuel prices and cost of living have gone up since then. The official rate for the airport taxi from Puerto Plata to Sosua is now $25 and that is only 5 miles.
Of course airport taxis are more expensive than off-the-books arrangements, but if someone is going to meet a passenger at Santiago airport, first they have to run the gauntlet of the licensed taxi drivers cartel, and then they have maybe 1/2 hour at the airport plus an hour and a half driving time, plus a return journey with an empty vehicle for another hour and a half, so that is a total of 3 1/2 hours of driver time, plus fuel for three hours of driving including crossing the mountain pass two times. Gasoline is $6 per gallon, so say 4 gallons, that would be $24 just for the fuel.
I think you might be able to get the fare for $70 to $80, but no guarantee. Even to take an airport taxi into Santiago to Caribe Tours would be $25, plus the bus fare of (?) $5, so that is $30 off the bat.
Of course a $100 taxi fare is more reasonable when shared with another person.
In a straight line, it is less than 25 miles from Santiago to Sosua, but much further by the main highway, and you have to go all the way through Santiago and then several miles out the other side towards La Vega to the airport, although some drivers might use the back road which is definitely shorter, but slow.
If it costs $200 more to fly to PP, it is better to do that as much easier all round and can be extremely inconvenient if your departure flight leaves from Santiago.
If it is $350 more, I would probably go via Santiago.

Just some quick ramblings I'd like to share with the board now that I am sober:
-There were only a handful of guys I could possibly identify as mongers on the airplane yesterday. Definitely not a plane full of them like in March when I usually come here. May might just turn out to be my new favorite month (to visit). But it's probably just that I've beaten the "Weekend Crew" down here by a day or two.
-Got a rate of 38.95 at Western Union yesterday. By far the best rate I've seen yet. Just for fun, on the way to baggage claim at POP I asked the Cambio guy how much they were offering and he replied "28.--". Stopped listening after I heard "28", LOL.
-Rained off and on thought yesterday evening and then like crazy last night. None of that stopped the party though (fucked up my jeans crossing the street between El Flow and Rumba Bar though. Was like crossing through a river stream). Ratio in Classico's last night was at least 5 to 1 (even before I left with a chica around 12:45). Lots of hot hot hot chicas present; just not enough leche, tiempo, (or pesos) to give to them all.
-Merengue Bar no longer seems like the evening spot to hang at anymore. Was there around 6ish and there were at least three policemen standing around in front. Chicas would not even walk past the place! But they (the chicas) were all huddled together in Rumba Bar (which I ended up making my way over to) , El Flow, the bar next door to Merengue Bar, and Grand Valero. Merengue Bar was back to its usual self around 8ish though.
-Terra Linda now stocks their mini refrigerator with "mini bar" stuff; cookies, soda, chips, rum, etc. Just more shit I have to try to keep the chicas from stealing. Still prefer the place because the atmosphere is more tranquil. Plus I like that they have large plants and palm trees all over the place (even the in restaurant) which makes the place seem a lot more low-key and hidden. They also have SKY. FM streaming 80's hits all day!
-Rocky's still has some good-ass ribs! Going to see if I can catch Big D on the beach later today. Also like that Rocky's is streaming "Soul" from the 60's now. Heard some of everybody yesterday while waiting on my food (Sam Cooke, Temptations, Jackson 5, The Supremes, etc.).
-New Garden still has the best damn breakfast in Sosua. Since I am not staying there I paid 210 pesos for the toast, eggs, bacon, hash browns, and orange juice. Still the same predictable crowd at NG though. I could hear these dudes yuck'in it up well before I got to the entrance. One of them yelled out "I'm training (fitness training?) to bang everything!"
-Out of the three chicas I was with last night my internet connect turned out to be the greediest. Broad got me for a glass of "vino tinto" while she was waiting for me to finish eating. Also wanted the most pesos despite not being the hottest of the three.
-Still trying to figure out where all the Haitianas have gone. Did not see many out last night (or maybe it was because I wasn't looking hard enough?). All three chicas last night where Dominicanas. It's rare for me not to have a Haitiana in the mix. Going to see if I can't do something about that today.
-Don't know if the chicas are still having Policia problems, but one of my chicas specifically requested that I escort her back to the Pedro Clisante (because of the Police). The other two chicas didn't seem too worried though.

Just some quick ramblings I'd like to share with the board now that I am sober:
-There were only a handful of guys I could possibly identify as mongers on the airplane yesterday. Definitely not a plane full of them like in March when I usually come here. May might just turn out to be my new favorite month...Good report, find out where all the haitians went.
In stayed at the New Garden and D'Piero's. Both will take and honor reservations via email without a deposit. I'm not sure if they accept CCs. Email them and ask. Pesos are king in the DR. Most motels, restaurants, bars & shops do not accept CC or charge a high surcharge. Bring enough cash to cover your expenses. It is easy to convert US dollars to Pesos. Using ATMs are an alternative. They are all over Sosua but sometimes they can be difficult to use. My advices reserve a room via email in any of the monger motels without making a deposit and bring cash.Thanks. I've spent whole years on the north coast, so I know the deal in-country. But for me it's much better to book online with a CC for the hotel portion whenever possible. It makes things easier for my financial situation. I've never booked a place in Sosua online however, and as far as I know, some of the old regular places I know (the Palace) are long gone. I will check out of some of the spots mentioned.

I'm going to the Dom. Rep. For the first time June 4th until the 12th spending 4 ½ days at Black Beards and 4 ½ days in Sosua at the New Garden. Will anyone else be there at that time and want to meet up and show me the ropes?
A few questions are dollars accepted there or will I have to exchange my money for Dominican Pesos, if so should I do it before I leave the USA if not where should I do it once I arrive. Are there ATM available at Black Beards and New Garden. From what I have read I can exchange money at a place called Jennies supermarket that is supposed to be close to BB is this correct. Also from what I have read I can get Viagra at both BB and at Jennies supermarket. Is this also correct, if so what is the price per pill. Where can I exchange money and get Viagra when I am staying at the New Garden in Sosua. Also from what I have read the rate at BB is 1500 for short time 2 hrs and 3000 for TLN is this correct. I have also read that girls at both NG and around Sosua can be had for the same price is this also correct. I know the prices per session at Passions are listed.
I'm staying at BB first and having them pick me up at the airport for the $45 fee, which I think is a little high. I suppose I can figure this out once I get there but how do I arrange transportation from BB to the NG in Sosua, is it possible to get it for less than $45 and how do I arrange transportation from New Garden back to the airport, again I can probably figure this out once I get there but I would like to do it for less than $45.
Finally where can I find a good map of Sosua that shows all of the main mongering spots like New Garden passions and any others, how do I find this place, I think its called Belkies for an early morning BJ.

ChrisThe following info is based on my Dec. 2011 trip.
DO NOT exchange money at airport. Taxis will accept dollars and you can deal with exchanging money late. Except for taxis pay in pesos. You will get a much better deal. The locals have a hard time converting money and those that can will give you a poor rate. There are many exchange places in Sosua. I use the one on Duarte between Pedro Clisante and Alejo Martinez. Clean secure and gives a good rate. Try not to change money on the weekend. Rate will be lower. In pinch the Sosua street exchange guys are ok for small transactions. Jennies is a short walk from BB or have the taxi drive stop on the way in. Jennies gives a great exchange rate. BB will exchange money at a couple pesos below going rate.
ATMs are available in Sosua. Avoid them if you can. They are difficult and expensive to use. When I needed extra pesos I went to a teller at Scottie bank with my ATM card, driver's license & passport. There are no ATMs or banks near BBs.
Viagra and related drugs can be purchased in most markets and all pharmacies. They are cheap especially the generic brands. I purchased mine from the pharmacy on Pedero Clisante just past Alejo Duarte. I know they can be purchase from BB's front desk for a premium and I bet Jennies or the pharmacy across the street carries them.
BB chica prices are fixed 1600 pesos ST. 3000 pesos TLN. Had no trouble getting Sosua chicas for 1000 ST & 2000 TLN. La Passions and CMP have fixed prices. Did not visit either in Dec. See their websites for prices.
Listed price for a taxi to / from POP airport to Sosua is $25us. My driver accepted $20. There are always taxi's parked out front of NG and on the corner of Pedro Clisante and Rosen. I negotiated a $40us fare for a ride from NG to BB. Posted fare was $45. Bet a ride can be gotten for less. A cab from BB to POP cost $45us. BB will call for the cab which will arrive within five minutes.
You don't need a map of Sosua. It's small & you will learn your way around quick enough. Ask a follow monger for directions if need be.
I'm headed back to the DR on June 12. Not sure if I will spend the entire week at BB or spend some time in Sosua.

D'Piero's does not discount their rooms but provides free airport transfers if you stay the better part of a week. I like to pay for the room up front. That way if things go very bad at least I have a place to sleep. If you are not sure about the motel pay as you go or at the end. The NG and D'Piero's are flexible.
I bring a few extra $100 bills but mostly $50s. Never had problems exchanging them but bills were in decent shape.

SSI was actually there around 4 or 5ish. I didn't make it in to Sosua until around 2:45. Unpacking, getting minutes for my phone, and hitting Playero Supermercado took at least an hour or so.

-(friday morning) woke up around 3am to use the bathroom. for some reason this time i turned on the lamp next to the bed (i usually don’t). saw my chica laying in her own vomit on the pillow case. gave her a slight nudge just to make sure she didn’t die on my ass. wet a towel from the bathroom (semi chunks in the sink and toilet; guess she was up blowing chunks earlier) and walked around to clean up the chunks on the pillow case. surprise! large pool of meaty vomit chunks on the floor near her side of the bed as well. later told me that she had been drinking since 5pm the following day (thursday evening) and had not eaten. wish she would have told me this before i gave her two double shots of goldschlager. despite all of this, she still demanded i grab a condom and that we go at it again before she left.
-if you have some time before your trip then i would highly suggest you get your ass to the gym. i’ve been lifting pretty consistently since february and i have never received this many compliments about my body while down here from chicas (“papi, tu cuerpo es muy bueno/bonito”). on all of my previous trips i really didn’t care what kind of shape i was in (it was usually out of shape). for the most part each chica i bring to my room ends up holding me hostage after sex (kissing, hugging, biting me on my legs and ass); i’m the one who has been having to initiate the “okay, it’s time for you to go mami.” most of you guy probably don’t care about how you look (since you are paying money anyway) but trust me when i tell you that it is definitely a game changer in the bedroom. it also helps too (with negotiations) if a chica is interested in sleeping with you to begin with (physical attraction).

-unbeweavable: be prepared to have (fake) hair all over your room. a lot of chicas put these fake weaves and extensions in their hair (most believe that having longer hair will make them appear more attractive) and that shit gets all over the place. may cause problems for some of you guys going back home to the mrs. you’ll be sitting around trying to figure out how the hell it got into your suitcase. i’m still trying to figure out how the hell it ended up in my drink shaker.

-classico’s: damn, do not know what the fuck happened to the talent since wednesday and thursday night (@gogo: i think your assumption about the direct correlation between the drop off of talent with the arrival of the weekend crew now has some validity) but i was definitely not impressed. sat at merengue bar and watched the line of chicas form in front of classico’s waiting to go upstairs once it opened. i surveyed the talent from at least 11ish-12:45. kept telling myself: “damn, it’s got to get better as time passes...right?” i waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. i convinced myself that although it is only 200 pesos i was not about to pay it just to go inside to see what i already knew what was inside: sub-par talent. i saluted the weekend crew as they headed up the stairs. “it’s all yours!”
ended up just hanging around the front of classico’s just to see what i could find for a quick romp. ended up finding a very pretty and toned chica with braces from santo domingo who was also just hanging around out front. very cool personality (i could tell since i am pretty much damn-near fluent in spanish now; it’s all i’ve been speaking since i got here) and made sure i was taken care of once we got back to the room. thought she would be a lazy-lay (a lot of the pretty ones are) but she aimed to please. told me “leche en me boca no problema” without me even asking about it; got two leches out of the deal; even after that kept asking me “are you good”? clear indication that if i wanted to leche again she was ready, but i was good with my two, lol.

Until that park was rehabed and that stairway added, you had to enter by a rough path past the waterfront resuarante into the casa marina grounds and down the stairs there. Though it was open to the public, locals rarely went and probably few tourists knew about it too, although their was a sign pointing to the path. I took a girl down there one night, well past 1AM, we damn near fell off the cliff walking that path in the dark. It was desserted then, accept for the night guard at the casa marina. The stairs was blocked off, but he let me take my girl down anyway. Now that it has real public access I suspect it will become more popular with the locals and tourists alike. Don't know how deserted it would be after 8:30, or what the security guard would be able to do if people come strolling down the stairs to take a moonlight walk on the beach.

It could be as simple as they will offer to keep people away while you do the deed or much worse as threaten to call the cops unless you pay them off. Personally I would never have sex on any beach on the planet at night due to one's vulnerability but if you are hell bent to do it I would want to know who is employing them, they could be employed by Waterfront Restaurant, if they tell you they work for the Las Terrazas Condos I would be very suspicious.

I would love to have sex on the beach with a beautiful Dominicana by the moonlight on a beach but one has to remember and not lose sight of the fact that you are not in freeking Disneyland once the sun goes down and any beach is one of the least safe areas to be. I have stayed at the Las Terrazas condos many times, it is the last buildings at the end of Dr. Rosen on the left. The last time I stayed there about six months ago my wingman was confronted on Dr. Rosen at night directly in front of the condos by a drunk (or high) Dominican waving a pistol and threatening to shoot all the foreigners. Needless to say I don't stay down there anymore, I stay at New Garden.

But then, again, another one of them (these are Municipal Security, so yeah, basically cops) went around and questioned everybody. I assume it is their presence that keeps locals away.
My guess is that gringos are OK in the area, locals get shooed away, but these guys probably expect a gringo not staying at one of the resorts to pay a few pesos to "get down" on the beach. I would like for information on New Garden and any differances between Boca Chica & Sosua. I do not want to go back to Boca Chica. There is too much shit going on with the girls setting up guys to pay more $$. Can you wear your jewlery out at night when hanging out to meet chicas?As others have stated no need for the jewlery. This one with beach umbrellas and emptiness, looks like a real beach. But obviously this is a private beach and that is why they have security. Compared to the public beach.

Saturday overall was a very good day talent-wise. On the way back from the beach I ran into a caramel-skinned chica from Santo Domingo with an ass like Cherokee (Black female pornstar) who I took back to the room. Almost did not make it inside the damn place because as I was standing in line there was this hot light-skinned chica with low, low, low cut shorts and a mid-drift shirt showing off her washboard flat and toned stomach. You could tell this chica hits the gym often. Shorts were so low that you could almost see her chocha. The area you did see you could tell she waxed or shaved the pubic hair way. She kept rubbing her breast up against my back while we were in line. At one point I turned around to look at her (to acknowledge that I felt what she was doing) and she looked away like she didn't know what was going on. Also, it seems that them (Classico's) now making chicas pay money to go into Classico's is playing to our advantage. Most of the chicas who know that they will not find anyone to take them will not waste the pesos on a ticket, and they will just hang around outside or in Merengue Bar. It's cheaper than many of the casas in Santo Domingo, and you can sometimes find some 10's there. But you may also find the same or similar girls in Sosua, so really you are paying for the convenience of having them right there in front of you versus going out in Sosua looking for a 10 and more often than not settling for a 7 or an 8. am not saying this is Buscemi's case, but you have to understand that there are guys that will fuck anything. I mean ANYTHING. If you remember Eddie Murphy's "Delirious", he had one such friend. When his friend came over to his house to visit, the fish (in the fish tank) stop moving! There are a lot of unattractive chicas patrolling Sosua all day and night who will happily take whatever someone pays them. I've been trying to be nice about the expectations talent-wise a guy traveling there might expect to encounter, but damn. For the most part it was pretty depressing.
You seriously have to do some digging just to find something of interest. El Flow, forget about it. Rumba Bar, forget about it (and you know it's bad when the dark-skinned bartender is the hottest chica in the entire damn place all day and night). Guys coming from other places such as Rio will be mostly upset. Classico's is the saving grace of the entire night scene. While sitting at Merengue Bar drinking I would see all of the really hot chicas pull up right to the front of Classico's on the back of Motochonchos and go straight up stairs. You do not see these chicas strolling the block during the day or night. Most of the bars during the evening and night are filled with chicas who'd be wasting their time trying to find someone in Classico's to take them. These girls would definitely be happy to take 2000 pesos for TLN because in the end something is better than nothing at all. In my case, I am not flying thousands of miles from home just to pay for "something", and will go with "nothing at all" until I find that diamond in the ruff (and that's exactly what I did; held on to my pesos rather than just paying for anything. Ended up coming back to the States with too may damn pesos in fact).
And then you have those "legendary" mongers born with a golden mouthpiece (able to talk any woman out of her pants anywhere, anytime, any solar system) who gets their 9 or 10-scale chicas for 1500 pesos toda la noche. But some of these chicas are plesantly surprised when they wake up the next morning and these legendary mongers declare "Bytch, you need to pay me. I'm muthafuckin beautiful!"Yep
Actually, one of the reasons I stopped going to Sosua was the abundance of Boca Chicaish Touts and multiple STD outbreaks. My trip with my boys in the villa with my man rotating and us picking ahead of time for a 100 a pop was to ensure we could ball and not have to wade through the skanks. Ugly and dumb biyches ruin the tase of my Patron.
I'm also sick of the criticality of the next man's choice of Holiday. You want to stay in a shack? I'm a rent a villa. You want to catch a bus? I'm going to rent a car. You want to fuck Shanaenae? I'm going to bang Rosa Acosta little sister.
To say, what you pay doesn't equate to the quality PUTA ya get is a lie. Its like saying the rules of supply and demand dont exist. I think Jarmondy paid that rate from Cristals Nightclub in POP, that is the going rate there. $100 st on site or 140 tln off site. It's cheaper than many of the casas in Santo Domingo, and you can sometimes find some 10's there. But you may also find the same or similar girls in Sosua, so really you are paying for the convenience of having them right there in front of you versus going out in Sosua looking for a 10 and more often than not settling for a 7 or an 8. Of course, everyone's taste is different, and you may not like the girls, or the vibe in Cristals. But it wasn't the girl who ripped him off, if anything, he ripped himself off by going to Cristals. Saturday overall was a very good day talent-wise. On the way back from the beach I ran into a caramel-skinned chica from Santo Domingo with an ass like Cherokee (Black female pornstar) who I took back to the room. Almost did not make it inside the damn place because as I was standing in line there was this hot light-skinned chica with low, low, low cut shorts and a mid-drift shirt showing off her washboard flat and toned stomach. You could tell this chica hits the gym often. Shorts were so low that you could almost see her chocha. The area you did see you could tell she waxed or shaved the pubic hair way. She kept rubbing her breast up against my back while we were in line. At one point I turned around to look at her (to acknowledge that I felt what she was doing) and she looked away like she didn't know what was going on. She clearly noticed that I was checking her out though. When I turned back around, she went right back to it (rubbing her breast against my back) and even had her body pressed up against my ass. No reason for anyone to be that close to one another in line at Classico's, LOL. Hell, I definitely was not "toe to heel" (ex-military guys know this term from boot camp) with the gentleman in front of me! Later saw her standing in front of the VIP area (next to the area near the bar at the top on the left as you enter inside Classico's). No doubt she probably got invited to join whoever was in there.
Also, it seems that them (Classico's) now making chicas pay money to go into Classico's is playing to our advantage. Most of the chicas who know that they will not find anyone to take them will not waste the pesos on a ticket, and they will just hang around outside or in Merengue Bar. All of the hot chicas who know they will have no problems in finding someone to take them will pay to go inside.

I spent quite a bit of time in Sosua. I often rolled with some other local Dominican friends, a early-30's Puerto Rican, none of us movie stars, but none repulsive either. Not only did we score a lot of 500 pesos TLN, we also scored a lot of freebees, even with well-known working girls. Hell, I became tight with a really well known girl who worked at a (then) well known place. Her picture / info made its rounds on this board many times. I use to hang out with her on the regular, sleep at her place, sleep with her, etc. And she cooked me dinner several dozen times. Never asked for a penny, and in fact wouldn't even take money for the motoconcho when she stayed at my place. What did it take? Not a gringo speaking spanish well. A latino who knows plenty of Dominican slang and pronounciation to boot, and even though I am a bit plump these days; I am in my mid 30's and still looking pretty damn good. LOL. I more often got 1500-2000 quotes. Some bitches were crazy and would go buck by asking for 3000-4000, but I quickly brought them down from those clouds. Maybe the fact that all these Sport fuckers have invaded your monger paradise, and grossly overpayed to the point that they have raised the prices. -If you have some time before your trip then I would HIGHLY suggest you get your ass to the gym. I've been lifting pretty consistently since February and I have never received this many compliments about my body while down here from chicas ('Papi, tu cuerpo es muy bueno / bonito'). On all of my previous trips I really didn't care what kind of shape I was in (it was usually out of shape). It absolutely matters. I spent quite a bit of time in Sosua. I often rolled with some other local Dominican friends, a early-30's Puerto Rican, none of us movie stars, but none repulsive either. I met people at classicos but they came the next day to my hotel and I paid following the guidelines here and what I thought was an appropriate amount and NEVER had an issue. Some women actually came back several times or wanted to come back but dissuaded by me. Sosua to that extent seems very different from what I read about Boca Chica.
Womanizing in Sosua is no big deal especially with US$ or Euros. I mean everyone gets lucky without even trying and yet I see more people getting excited about "how much" and "game or no game" which pardon my french but, kind of reminds me of the word "mental masturbation". A chick is not going to waste her time trying to create a GFE fantasy for you if she think all her tricks are going to be exposed.
