Ok so I'm going to try out CMP in a few days. Is it like Passions where the girls all come in at 4pm? What's the best time to come through?

That is when all the girls seem to be there. Just hang out with an adult beverage on the big couches and watch how the place works. Been there many times; no issues whatsoever.

In the DR you will almost always see men with guns running around the streets and at good hotels and resorts.

Don't let this trip you out like it did me. I thought every man with a gun was 5-0 but I was so wrong. The men with the gun's are for the most part your friend and will protect you from many different situations. I always try to give them something and be nice to them for they don't make much money either and most of them are hungry just like everybody else in the DR.

It is a good thing for each person who goes to the DR to make themselves aware of which men are the police and which who are not.

Many of the police look as raunchy as the ordinary Dominican. Many don't wear uniforms.

The next day we left late heading to Sosua. I realize my mistake and heading to Sosua from SDQ. Coming from the airport headed toward SD, after you pass through the toll; if you miss your first immediate right getting on marginal las Americas from the highway; you can still get on it by staying in your far left lane and take the immediate exit of the left. Go under the bridge but be careful you can very easily get on the wrong side of the road and make that left on marginal las americas go of a quarter of a mile and make a right on autopista juan pablo follow that road heading towards the north Coast. The road only gets a little tricky in Nagua which is also you're halfway point. Be careful when driving to North Coast during night. The water makes the area very foggy and the roads are small at times. It normally takes me about an 1:15 to 1:45 hours to get from Nagua to Sosua, however with the thick fog at night it took about 2 hours and 15 minutes. At times I couldn't tell if I was on the road. Dangerous!

We arrived in Sosua about 930. Saturday night. Checked into casa Angela 2. Took my old room on the bottom floor. Got the other 3 guys settled in the top floor. I must admit the top floor has better rooms. The owner asked if we will be needing his driver. Maybe if we were at his other hotel we would. As I said before, His other hotel for Angela one is further away from the strip much nicer and discreet. It runs about $55 a night. Casa Angela one is totally worth it if you were in school more than 3 days with a group of 4 or better. The rooms at Casa Angela to are near the strip and basic. No one room is the same. If you go there check what's available and pick what suits your needs. My room offer to 2 beds on the bottom floor safe and quick access. My homeboy Street room has a Big balcony and kichette. G room came with his own refrigerator. Justice (whom replaced Fresh) room was nice and newer items and his own flat streen TV. Both the Casas have wifi living room for entertainment.

Hit the strip about 12 o'clock. I made the guys promised me they won't pick until after 4. This was cool for Justice street and almost upset it T. However this is Justice and Street first time in Sosua and they roll love to flirt. Sosua did not disappoint anyone. Spanish and Haitian women of all sizes and flavors. 2000 pesos was the average price given. Street felt like King of Sosua. The many young chicas making it known to him that they were very interested in doing business. T was getting upset with me because of my no picking until after 4 o'clock rule. We have been knowing each other since high school and he has a history of a quick bad decisions. He came to me and said even the chicas were complaining to them why are they listening to me."Is he your daddy". I reminded him they were hoes and just give me this one night. I also reminded him I couldn't stop him if he wanted to take a chica back to the room. About 5 o'clock, we've all made our decision. I had already pre-committed to 4 chicas prior to me coming. (they were seeking novia status) Justice had his normal slender asian Dominican goddess. Street decided that he was going to go two chicas at the same time. I told him to make them tongue kiss in front of us before he talked to them. Then I stepped in and got them off that 5000 pesos crap to 3000 pesos for both. The chica did not appreciate me coming into their negotiating and she was rushing me to leave the room. I told her if she didn't like it she can get the fuck on. I got the money and I was playing them when they finish. Street doesn't have money. I look in her eyes and say to Street you are going to have problems with that one.

6.05 in the morning. I'll get a knocked at my door it's Street. Apparently the girl is complaining that she did her job however Street saying don't pay her. Street was saying to her no leche. During the performance Street asked one of the girls to wait on the balcony which finished up with her friend. She who initiated the deal to bring her friend in got upset because he dismissed her after she did some good punta licking and dealt solely with the other friend, who wasn't even supposed to be there had she not brought her in. She complained he ready leche with my friend we are done give me my money. Street was like I hadn't leche with you. Come and finished the job and get paid. They were deadlock and now streaming. (boy they needed a contract). She refuse to continue and he refused to pay her. She broke a glass on the floor and picked up a vase and threaten to throw it against the floor yelling "DO You want problems! Her friend also joined in saying Street already leche and if he didn't pay it all they were calling the police. T's chica came down joined in on their side. Apparently she was upset because he didn't live up to his long lasting expectations. T ass didn't even come down. She even offered to finish the job. Even that didn't sit well with Miss You Want Problems. It was really getting out of hand. All of a sudden the owner came out of his room. He look at the glass on the floor and ask what happened. He was very calm and his composure didn't change. After listening to the whole ordeal, this guy took the shoes on his feet, gave them to me and ask me to return to my room. I gave him 3000 pesos. He then motion to Street to return to his room. Something about his demeanor let me know that the situation was going to be handled. I went back to sleep for 10 minutes until my chica woke me up to some good ass head. (trying hard for novia status) Come to find out; the owner told the girls this. One of you are going up there to finish the job, come down and get this money. Mlss Problems protested- no he doesn't want me he likes my friend. He called Street down and asked who does he want to finish with. Street pointed at Miss You Want Problems. I wish I was a fly on the wall for that one. They received the money and street gave her friend who offered to finish the job a 500 pesos tip. That was his way of saying "I'm gangster it ain't about the money!"

Having a 3some with girls you do not know is almost always a waste. It seems like a good idea at the time. IF you find a girl who says she is into girls let her set things up but make sure you have relationship with the chica.

Does anyone know a safe area / neighborhood where one can park their vehicle without worrying about it being towed away, alternate side of the street, or other parking offenses? I tend to fly out of JFK airport, and have been using long term parking facilities for my vehicle. A 2 week trip away, the parking cost can be over $200. If I found a safe, legal parking spot in a neighborhood. I could save that money to use for something else.Kinda risky but you could Park off Guy R Brewer and take the Q3 to the airport. Free parking. Of if you want you could pay me a few dollars and I'll let you park the car at my spot and I'll drop youu to the airport.

Most girls I have dealt with would not smoke anything. Weed is viewed by them as a hard drug or more like cocaine. Most of my Haitian girls enjoyed weed but their culture is very different. I was surprised by this but it has been confirmed over long period of time. When you find a DR girl who smokes look out. Real good chance she is very hard core.I met a cool Dominican girl in the bar on the corner, the one run by Thomas. Whats the name of it, anyone? Anyways, she told me that her cousin sold it and would get me some and pay her if I liked it. So it is obtainable. Damn, now that I'm home, I wish I'd have fucked that one to, jajajaj

At that hour you guys are just picking up sloppy seconds (and thirds). They've already been bounced around 3 or 4 times by 4am. The other flip side to this is that the ones still milling around at 4am are the ones nobody wants!

Most guys like myself hit the scene early and if I spot a very nice one, I'm locking her down all night.

I applaud you for wanting to show some newbies the ropes, but man, your homies are going to get yall asses locked up, lol! You should have started these dudes out with the training wheels on: at either Blackbeards or Field of Dreams.

This is why I do not roll in large groups or with guys that haven't been around the (Sosua) block a few times. The best wingman you can have is someone who has time in the game and doesn't need their hand held the entire trip.

Sure you can hit After 1, but you might just call it a night if you already been hanging out all night, especially if it was a long travel day. You are right about that the chica been bounce around a that time! We were already late to the scene at 12. I wanted them to get drunk, flirt, and enjoy the grown and sexy scene the first night. Tomorrow its all day jab, stick, and move. Had we got were earlier we were suppose to get an afternoon treat, but we did a lot of last minute fucking and running around. No early turn in on the first night in Sosua. I let them sleep on me the whole ride there. WE all had sex before we left BC that afternoon. T laid back on the couch in the VIP section s if he was sleeping or mad. I knew I wouldn't stop him if he really wanted to go. After he got his nut that night, he didn't come down stairs and walk he chica out or see why we were arguing. I said he was tired! Oh yeah we agreed on a No cuffing, hanging out with or locking yourself down with one chica all night oath in Sosua- unless your are taking her ass straight to the room. No breakfast in the morning, taking to lunch, buying excessive drinks, or hanging out with our group! If your want to play Novia invite her to the Capital on Wednesday or Thursday away from the Sosua scene and cuff into your hands fall off. I know this sound crazy but we are going through trial and errors.

Some time ago I mentioned here a girl I met in Sosua who claimed she had just turned 19 in July who claimed to be still a virgin and said that she wanted $2000 US dollars for her virginity. I was somewhat dubious about this, (though other girls confirmed the apparent truth of this tale) and had not seen her since, but just today I ran into her in the street and she hailed me and told me that she had some good news to share with me. I asked her if she had got the $2000 dollars for her virginity, and she said no, but the good news was that she was no longer a "senorita" (virgin) and that she was open for business. She was still small, she said, and I would be only her second invitee.

I agreed to meet her a bit later and she showed up on a motoconcho. I said to her that before went to a room I needed to see some kind of ID to prove her age, even though she had turned 19 in July, because she is kind of young looking, though plausibly 19. After a bit of ho-ing and hum-ing she produced a school enrolment paper that showed that she was born in November 1995, which means that she is not quite barely legal. I told her I might get back with her later in the month. She said that she had been to a number of hotels and cabanas which she named with several guys and had not had any problem. I said that was not quite the point as far as I was concerned, and that I would maybe give her a call in a few weeks (I have her number.) In any case at this point the newness of her virginity no longer seemed like an attraction and since she has birthdays at least twice a year, her general level of veracity is questionable, and she will probably be past her sell date in a month from now. I also got the impression that her motoconcho guy was her pimp as he seemed a bit overinvolved.

Moral of the story: 1) Trust but verify. 2) Read the fine print.

Sitting around and watching her friends. She probably soon figured out the math. 40*50 = $2,000. And she was able to name many of the hotels and cabanas. Of course, that is if she was indeed a virgin when CP first met her?

One question: How in the world can we visitors tell if a cedula is a fake one, or someone else's, but the picture looks just like the chica! Even the guys at US airports and passport guys sometimes have a very, very diffcult time with the photos vs. The live person in front of them, with direct spot light shining on the passport photo! Seriously, this is diffcult to figure out! And, of course they too have been known to get taken by forged or fake passports.

Here is what might help, as cedula contains exact date of birth, place of birth, place of current residency, profession, year of issue. Ask her first those details, then see the cedula (I do suggest carrying a magnifying glass if necessary) and make the calculation of her real age (crucial for all cases) Example, if she was born in 1995 but the issue date of the cedula is 2008 it is obviously a fake or was lost by someone long time ago. Scratched photo. Same same, it does not belong to her. Most likely details of her story and name on the cedula won't match, meaning a real cedula belonging to someone else. No mobile phone number is also a hint in many cases. This being said it does not apply to Haitian I'd's, only passports may be trusted.

What is the approximate cost of a cell phone for just phone calls and texting? Something with a full screen and a pop up virtual keyboard. I do not need the internet on the phone!

Just the basic stuff! And the best place to buy it, with a good variety of phone selection options?

Thanks a bunch!

Asking a name won't help. 98/100 Dominicanas go by a nickname that has nothing to do with their real name. My girlfriend, for instance, goes by Yajaira and there is not anything close to that in her real name.

Besides all the banging of the chicas to be done in Sosua, what about kayak rentals. Last time I was in Sosua about 4 years ago I don't recall seeing anyone renting them along the beach. Also, any recommendations of good places to snorkel from the beach versus from a boat would be helpful.

Any information would be appreciated as I need something to do in the daytime during downtime between the chicas!

Thanks

ThanksThere are a few rental places as soon as you enter the beach area, but I did not notice any kayaks. But then again, I wasn't looking for kayaks; I get distracted easily.

If you walk down the beach to Herman's Siempre Sol, there is a small reef about 100 yards out; some snorkel there. And you can rent the gear.

It's like a desert down under the water. They have tried to start artificial reefs, but the sealife isn't taking to it. I can send you some pictures from diving if you would like and you can judge for yourself.

I don't think it is worth it to pay for snorkeling in Sosua Bay.Went snorkelling in August. The fish life was pretty sparse and unremarkable, and this was with very good visibility. The scuba divers did see a large moray eel though.

Sunday 29 Sosua.

Nothing new to report that hasn't already been discussed. It was pretty much dead in the afternoon. After we ate lunch; we realize at the beach they were having some sort of cook off. People from all over we're selling dinners with their family recipes. There were a large range of good of Dominican food. There were a lot of nice looking chicas there, however it been family orientated you couldn't get much action. In my opinion the beach area in Sosua is lame. Very little to no head turners. Believe it or not but she BC is a lot more live on Sundays with more action. It didn't help matters none that it rained its ass off. It calmed down by the evening and the chicas started coming out. We did go to CMP to kill time. I seen the sexy Eve walking around looking like a tall dark Goddess. She was playing the bunny role and doing a good job. I can deal with the weave but not the fake breast! Everyone got an evening treat no problems. We were jabbing and weaving all night Sunday. You can see the construction they were doing on both clubs, trying to close the area off. Even once the walls are built, you can tell that the mongering will continue. The chica in the pink shorts is a winner. 22yrs no kids and a squirter.

If the picture looks like the chica it is probably a fake, because I have never been able to recognize a chica from her (genuine) cedula picture.I agree most chica's don't look like there I'd picture.

Headed to Sosua in the next 10 days! A couple of questions for a newbie please!

1. How big is the Casa Cayena safe? Can it hold a laptop and other stuff?

2. At Casa Cayena and at BB, if I pay at check-in for the full stay in USD cash, will I still have to pay any tax?

3. For a newbie, what would guys recommend as the best places and best approach to find new chicas that are GFE, as opposed to the hard core pros? How much should I pay?

4. Safety issues at Casa Cayena with chicas: what should I watch out for? Do the Casa Cayena people make a copy of their cedulas and keep it, and will the security check the docs?

Any other tips or suggestions would also be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I will post a detailed report after my trip!

Over and over I see guys posting on ISG asking if their laptop will fit into a safe. I have been around the world and have never seen a hotel safe big enough to fit a laptop into it. Even the Senty I have in my house will not fit my laptop, a netbook yes. But fear not. There is not a rash of people going into hotel rooms and stealing laptops. Where ever I go I always leave mine out on the desk and plugged in so that my downloads can complete. I may lock the desktop, but have never found a reason to hide or put my computer under lock and key.

Sorry for the question then. And thanks! I have had one big theft in Rome at the Intercontinental no less! With familY! Stole a whole bunch of stuff from about 15 rooms, per the hotel! Believe it not (it took about 4 months) , but their insurance company actually paid up, a few grand for my stuff alone!

And, in Helsinki, many years ago, during the iron curtain days, at the Sheraton, my briefcase was stolen. They took the US passport and threw my briefcase in the lake. The cops found the briefcase, sans the passport, and sent it to me in the USA, many weeks later. Took me about 3 days to get a new passport at the US Embasssy in Finland.

I have spent about 50% of my business days, traveling for work, for about 20 years, so I have seen a lot, even at the best of hotels, and in first world countries. Other than Japan, Sing, Switz, and Germany (maybe) , very few places in the world are 99% trouble-free. It's all in the stats! My thinking was that in the DR, a very large % just cannot afford a laptop, so I thought it might be an issue. Thanks for making me feel better! BTW, I spent a few months in Brazil and Peru earlier this year, and the places were quite free.

Except in Fortaleza, a chica in the disco, was DFKing me and taking swigs of the her drink and shooting it into my mouth, on the disco floor! I think she drugged me and got away with about $200, in my apt, when I came to! First time for me! Never knew that trick!

And in Curitiba, once, around midnight, I got stopped by teens at night at night, near the Bourbon Hotel. They put their hands in my pockets and got about R$ 150, were freaking happy, and ran the hell way! Leaving my heart pounding! As I said, its in the stats! I have been to Brazil maybe 35 times, over the decades, between work (mostly) , and pleasure!

I also have a Samsung chrome book that is smaller than my macbook that I now travel with that fits everywhere. Don't know if its a good idea to have so much trust to leave a big laptop sitting out. I got clipped by a chica in 2009 for my Galaxy phone while she was giving me a blowjob on the beach at Boca chica and it was hell changing all my accounts. From facebook to ISG, the passwords had to be reset. Plus most laptops can't be traced unless you have some kind of security devices on them. My advise would be to hide your laptop between the mattresses and have a lock password.

Damn Haven, you must have a target painted on you. I used to live in Rio and would stay a lot over my girlfriend's house in City of God and have never had anything happen to me. I think the only thing I have ever had stolen in my travels was my first time in Cali, Colombia. Somebody with a key (it had a deadbolt and a lock on the doorknob) went into my aparthotel room and stole my SD cards (back when thy were $75 / pop) and a hat. They went into my wingman's and stole his jacket. We did call the police and I never went back to stay at that stinking place again.

Headed to Sosua in the next 10 days! A couple of questions for a newbie please!I've only stayed there twice, but I will stay there in all future trips.

1. How big is the Casa Cayena safe? Can it hold a laptop and other stuff?

Other stuff, but not a 17" laptop. I kept mine on the desk the last two trips; no issues.

2. At Casa Cayena and at BB, if I pay at check-in for the full stay in USD cash, will I still have to pay any tax?

Pay cash at the ISG group rate when you arrive at CC. Never been to BB, never had the desire to go there.

3. For a newbie, what would guys recommend as the best places and best approach to find new chicas that are GFE, as opposed to the hard core pros? How much should I pay?

Sosua is a mix and match of hard core and new girls getting their feet wet. What to pay? I never ask and pay what I thought the service was worth. Others will chime in on this topic for sure.

4. Safety issues at Casa Cayena with chicas: what should I watch out for? Do the Casa Cayena people make a copy of their cedulas and keep it, and will the security check the docs?

CC will keep their IDs while the girl is at the hotel, night security guard will do the same. I don't think they make copies of the I'd.

What to watch out for? If her attitude changes in the room, send her packing!

You will offend one of our new posters with that sort of careless talk.Well, at that time, in the 80's, there were many Russian mobs operating there looking for western passports. At least, that's what the cops in Helsinki told me at the police station. Finland, as you may know, in those days, was quite different via a vis the Russian connection, compared to Sweden, Norway or even Iceland. Yes, I have visited and done business in all of those countries and most of the European countries many times. And have been to all major European cities lots and lost of times. I'm an internationalist, very attuned to politics and business and cultural issues in all these courtries. Have logged mote than 5 million frequent flyer miles. Worked in both airline industry and then mostly in consumer financial services. Managed a large global business with a very sizeable marketing budget which necessitated detailed analysis of the demographic, psychographic and other related data. May not seem it, but I have seen how things have changed since the 80's, as I am sure you have too!

These safes are generally black in color whereas the smaller ones are tan in color. I always drop back by my room at abnormal time if I am staying someplace for more than just a few days.

My laptop is my livelihood so I never just leave it out unattended. But that aside, I think it high time I get my tail to DR.

I placed an ad on Craigslist in the DR in Spanish along with my photo that reads "Looking for a friend / guide that is thin in Sosua for a week" and received an E-Mail from a 26 year old lady. I then spoke with her on the phone and she told me she lived in Santo Domingo. I had a hard time understanding her Spanish and we exchanged E-mails. She told me she couldn't really travel to Sosua but knows four girls that live in the Puerto Plata area that would stay with me for $ 5,000 DR Pesos for a 24 hour period. She sent the photos of the girls that looked to be in their twenties to me and they where all attractive, not black but caramel color skin, and thin like I asked for. She also reconfirmed the pricing for these chicas. Wondering if any one has experience with something like this, and does $ 5,000 DR Pesos seem reasonable. I told her that I would have to try the girls out to see if their was any chemistry of course and am tempted to try one or two of these girls out.

I don't think 5,000 pesos for 24 hours is really so much for 24 hours when the TLN rate on the street is 3,000 Pesos. Of course everything would have to be off the charts to wife up with one chica. What if you guys get along and you pay her, then you find out the sex is bad. Not only is that 5000 pesos wasted, but now you got to feed her and she will be hungry, or you throw in the towel- cut your time and losts. Have you told the chica what all you want to do with her. It sounds like you are paying for her time and not sex. However, you may get a winner! I think if you go to Sosua you will meet the girl you want that will give a better deal! And let me guess who told you the TLN rate on the street was: a chica you were trying to pick up off the street for TLN.About every report on this board over the past three months has been saying that the majority of the finer nicer looking chicas will go for 3,000 TLN even though they may ask for more initially. I haven't been to Sosua in a few years but am aware that the fat, ugly, and some of the Haitains will go for less. I'm not going to fret over 1,000 pesos or $ 25 over a chica for a day, however I won't pay over the market rate either. That's why I solicited other members input as to what they thought and your response was I was being gouged and might of relied on a chica from the street for my information. If I lived in the DR I wouldn't even bother with the girls on the streets, however when you travel 3,000 miles and only have a week, you don't have the luxury of a lot of time so I want to have as many options lined up in advance as possible. I think several other members on this board would concur with me.

This is ridiculous. The North Coast is awash with chicas. Come down, meet them in person, spend at least a few hours with one before committing to a longer stretch. If you are a typical newbie:

1 out of 10 will be disaster, will give as little service as possible and will want money in advance, maybe some sort of con-woman or, at worst, thief. Unpleasant experience. Get rid as cheaply as you can and put it down to experience. The more trips you make the better you will learn to spot these bad apples but you cannot spot them "online".

4 out of 10 will be routine fucks. Nothing memorable and you will be done with her after you have busted a nut. Get rid for 1000 to 1500 pesos.

4 out of 10 will be enjoyable sex and company. You might go on to spend a day or a night with her, but you will be ready to try someone new after that. You might want to see her again so take her number. 3000 peso plus meals.

1 out of 10 will the sort who make newbies fall in love with them. Excellent at her job and well worth the 5000 a day you will spend in cash, gifts and meals.

Note that the chance of your meeting this sort of chica is 1 in 10 at best. 1 in a 100 for anyone you meet on Cupid, Badoo, etc, and 1 in a 1000 for anyone you meet through Craigslist.

You cannot beat meeting in person and making a gradual assessment. Could still go wrong but it improves your chances a lot.

Ahhh. This is like coming home! LOL! Breezed into Pop, remembered to bring a ten dollar bill and got my tourist card from the machine. Didn't waitin that line, but spent 30 min waiting on luggage. Damn! Taxi waiting. Off to the Depiero. 50 bucks for a one bedroom with brkfast and transport to and from airport. Hate to give that one up, but got to give back.

Early afternoon sausage fest a Rumbas! More dudes than chicas. The word is out about Sosua. Lots of familiar faces. Hardcore pros IMO. Not really impressed by the talent.

Hooked up with Gogo. Drinks all around town. Ended up in Merengue. Had a ball drinking and dancing with a gorgeous dominicana. Gogo gave her the toe test. Beautiful pedicure. LOL. Hilarious! Didn't want to F around. Told her 3 mil todo la noche, chuparme sin condom, sexo con condom. Ok papi. Offto the room, gorgeous body, ok blowjob, decent sex, a bit disappointed. These chicas simply don't have a sense of customer service. She pulled the my sister is calling me hussle. Ok. I gave her two mil. She didn't argue. Bye be&h! LOL.

Back to the strip with the intention of just drinking. Lots of hot chicas, many hardcore pros IMO, I'm here a lot so I know a lot of the chicas. Some new faces. D Latins was packed Of course, merengue had a nice crowd, classicos had a big party with prizes, nice crowd. Back and forth. Wasnt horny, but in Dlatins a cute Haitiana walked up and grabbed my dick. Expert hands, had a hard on in no time! LOL. As she went in my shorts I stopped her. Off to the room. Crazy blow job, awesome sex. I'm 240, she was slamming on my dick so hard I thought shed break my pelvis! LOL. Rolled her over and returned the favor! LOL. She took it in all positions, no complaints. Stayed all night. Gave her 2250 pesos. On the beach now chillin with Gogo. BrotherP reporting!

If she is C. P. 's 1 in 10 keeper there's no problem extending the date. If she's one of the middle so-so chica's you probably are ready to get rid of her after busting a nut. If she's the 1 in 10 bad seed chica's you don't want to have promised TLN wages because she may hold you at knifepoint until you cough them up.

I was waiking out of Family Dollar yesterday when cute 22 year4 old spoke to me nd started getting fresh. I could not beleiveit. Was this a Sosua flash back or real life. I gave her my number as a potential client. She calls and flirts. Her name is Diamond go figure and yes she is an exotic dancer but looks as innocent as a school girl. Long story short I am in my room waiting for her as I type. Blind squirel fine a nut.

For her price could have had 3 DR girls but what the fuck. It has beeen a long time since I had plowed 22 year old pussy. I got to say she gave a 5 star performance. 5ft tall and a perfect thick body. Just the way I like them. Had all gone well I would be in the DR with some DR non pro GFE but all and all this was a very good shot in the where ever. The youbg lady hd great bed side manner. She was a great actor who knew why she was in the room. She was a bit paranoid about bein videoed or taped without her knowledge. The young lady was a solid 8. The body was flawless. She was real pro.

Another good day in Sosua! I ran into Eva at D latins. She said CMP was raided and closed two days ago. Spent some time with a cute non pro I met on facebook. Cool chica, nice girl. Made me realize I like bad girls! Bought her lunch and paid the concho. Hung out at the german bar drinking beer and chica watching. Now that el toro is closed its a good place to sit and watch the girls go by. Of course el toro was better. Hooked up with a dominicana from a few trips ago. Good performer, she didn't disappoint. Agreed on 1500, but I gave her 2000 cause as usual she was good. Went to rumbas and ran into an ex passiond girl I've had twice. She loss weight, mayve 10 pounds, fu#and smoking! LOL. But I had nothing left! Got her number. Ran came down like a monsoon. One of my expat buddies walked up and said well since I can't go home lets get drunk. No prob! Lots of hot girls. A few hrs later ran into another dominicana from the past. I see her every trip but don't always take her. Cool chica. She said papi I want to be with you. Buy me beer and give me un mil. What! Discount coochi for me?! Enjoyed her company and the sex was good. She stayed all night, woke me at 8 cause she had ro go to work. But she was nice enough to see to my morning wood. LOL. Got to luv her. Gave her 2200.

Tomjackin! Seen little D last night. Fu#and smoking hot! Loss that baby weight! Brother P out!

I'm coming down Dec 4th. I hear there are alot of changes like Passions and CMP CLOSED DOWN and see videos from Cubadave that all the clubs are putting up Glass Windows so the tourists can't see in. Must be hot as hell in those bars with no A / C. Any updates on that sort of stuff?I guess the government is moving forward with preparing Sousa for the cruise ship crowd.

Yea, that was my thoughts as well. I just can't imagine enclosing places like D'Latins, Rumbas and Merange and not having A / C. The temps in summer have to exceed 115 degrees in those hot boxes. The busses from the Cruise Ships should go directly to Cabarete as it is more condusive to that scene and tourists and leave Sosua to whoring.

Already Over! Good thing I'll be back for thanksgiving! Spent the last day bouncing around town drinking beer and talking. Lots of fellow mongers and expats. Had a decent afternoon sessions with a really pretty dominicana. Hung out with Gogo and BQ Ribs later. BQ was giving GoGo a hard time! LOL. Funny as hell! Had a blast. Got the Haitian girl again. Told her 2000 todo la noche. She said Ok. Another star performance with an encore presentation in the morning. Got to luv it. Gave her 2500. Having breakfast at new cafe. Pretty girls walking by and waving, blowing kisses! Love live Sosua! Brother P reporting!

I can finally add a report. This place is everything yall said it was, fine ass woman everywhere, already I can't wait to go back. I went to Sosua Oct 24th-27th and stayed at Rocky Suites

Was really nervous about taking this trip solo as my friend backed out at the last minute, and I never been outside the country before. But I am so glad I decided to pull the trigger and go by myself. I ended up meeting with 2 guys from another board who travel down there often, and they showed me a great time. I am 27 years old but I have a young face, can almost pass for a senior in high school, and all the chicas were calling me Bambino LOL. I ended up with 7 chicas my stay with one of them being repeats. And I see why you have to be careful bringing these chicas to your room, in one instance I had chica I had the night before just randomly show up to my door the next day, I was like WTF, I told her I had to leave and that I might see her later (never saw her again for the rest of my trip). I never told the chicas when I was leaving and got a few of their facebooks, they weren't too happy when I told them I left to go back home. I would have to say out of the 7 only 2 I would consider bad sessions, and I couldn't get any pics without clothes, even when I said no face in picture they still wouldn't budge. The most I paid for ST was 2500 (I know that's a lot but I am still learning the ropes) but I did manage to get a TLN for 1500. But in all it was a great trip and I am already hoping to go back sometime in April or may.

The only downfall of the trip was going through DR Customs on the way back in Santiago. I was nearly questioned for 15 mins as to why I was travelling by myself. In another country where the guy could barely understand my English, I am glad my limited Spanish helped me. Never been so nervous in my life.

Another thing I noticed. For the people on here saying that white guys don't like black or black skinned girls, that's all I seen them with. Many of the white guys either had a hatian or very dark skinned Dominican. Maybe I just happened to be there when this was more prevalent, I don't know, but just thought I should point this out.

(1) If you are American and first time out of the country, you may have a very different definition of what constitutes "dark skinned". For example, I wouldn't call any of the three you pictured as "dark-skinned", nor would most locals in Sosua. Would you? They appear to be two "india oscuras" and one "india clara". Not "morena" or "prieta". But these terms are relative. If the girls on the left and center came from a lighter-skinned family they might well be called "morena" in comparison to their siblings. Similarly if they came from the Cibao, which has a higher percentage of "Spanish" bloodlines.

(2) Two-thirds of the mongers in Sosua are not from the US, and if there is any truth in that assertion, it would not apply to them. Germans, French, Italians, and French Canadians, among others, are known to very often prefer haitianas.

(3) The sizable minority of American mongers who prefer lighter-skinned girls wouldn't go to Sosua because they know their choice would be reduced there. They go to Colombia, Costa Rica, or SE Asia (among other destinations).

This way there is no misunderstanding (mal-intiendemento) in the room. Of course the time of departure and what you expect would have to be agreed to as well. If you don't speak Spanish you should forget just getting a TLN cost as previously posted.

Had a nice 6 night stay here last week.

PROS. Free Airport Pickup, Rick is a cool and helpful guy, nice space in the room, away from the strip, laundry service.

CONS. Constantly paying moto fare to get to and from the strip, on the ground floor the only view you have is of the glass bottled wall, Wonky showers in some of the older rooms.

I had a good stay and the girls all liked my place but next time I'm going to try for a closer hotel like Don Antonio's.

TIP: If you're planning on staying there I'd suggest an upstairs room.

Also NEVER pay over 2000 for ST, I don't care how nice her ass is! Glad you had a great time though.Yea I know, paying over 2000 for ST is definitely a no no, its one thing to soak in everything you learn here from the board, but its another to actually apply it in action LOL, I guess I was just too happy to finally be there and everything went through one ear and out the other. Sniffing it, looking at it with a microscope, hell they damn near licked it once LOL.That happened to me when I entered POP in August. I just got a new US passport with extra pages inside. The new passport is quite different. The main difference is that the picture and information is no longer on the first page when it opens, it's now on the second page.

The agent had to go in one of the offices to ask for assistance.

I call bullshit on your girl in the middle. I smashed that back in February, and took pictures as a condition of taking her to the room. The mole on her nose is distracting, but I'm a sucker for a nice rack.

I've been back 2 times since February and she's begged for me to take her again each time. Since idle begging didn't work, she saw I had Whatsapp on my phone back in September, and has been randomly sending me nekkid pics to get my attention. I don't engage her, because the request for $$ will come next!

Long story short. Make your demand before you take her. It's your best position of leverage. All of the chicks know (through the chica network) that I'm cheap, and I'm going to take "fotos disnuda" or they can't come to the room.

Just type in the number 1500 on your phone. And say "solo 1500 pesos. Why propina si estoy alegro."

Usually just typing it on your phone will do the trick, even if she doesn't know English. The girls will not over-perform necessarily if you pay more than the standard rate. Some girls will be attracted to the guy and fuck your brains out. Others will just want to make it quick and get out. It's a roll of the dice with any girl, no matter what you pay.

It's just as easy to say if you stick firm to a low price, then she'll think you're cheap and underperform just to get a little bit of cash and bounce. But best of luck, we are all in this hobby to get the best experience (well, most of us anyways). If some reach that goal by paying more, fantastic. If others get it by just having the girl really like them (and even on the rare occasion without paying anything) then excellent! The end game is the same for most of us.

Head on over to Europe where it costs $100 an hour and sometimes more if you want a GFE.

Always a good idea to negotiate, but if you really want to bang the girl and she's sticking to her price and you're able to afford it. Go for it. If it's a bad experience, oh well. If it's a good experience, you won't be thinking "geez, I just shot my load and am satisfied but man. I wish I would have paid $10 less."

Most of these girls will get picked out quick by just standing there, or by walking around since all mongerers walking around Sosua are eyeing just a about every girl that passes by. The ones that look good know it.

I got amazing women for 2000 and less, real talk. What is "amazing"? It's a relative term that could mean anything. A "7" in your mind could be a "5" in my eyes. And how do we know what you really paid? I could go find bikini pics of Kim Kardashian, crop the face out, post it here and claim "I only paid 500 pesos for this chica!"

A guy just returning from Sosua can come on here and post a photo of a well-known "amazing" Dominicana (who not too many people fuck with because they know she wants 4000 ST) and claim he got her for 1000 TLN. Most guys will be scratching their heads like "how did he pull that off?" But the other half of us will most likely call bullshit.

Just like Puntz79 said, most of the hot chicas know they are hot and get picked out quick. Just because you are offerning 1500 doesn't mean she has to accept it or waste her time trying to haggle with you the same way you do not have to waste your time trying to get her below 2500 pesos.

Could this same chica be had for 1500 pesos? Sure, quite possibly. If you are one of those guys who do not mind waiting until 4am for her after she's been bounced around by 3 to 4 other guys by then, then of course she probably would go for 1500 TLN. What chica wouldn't jump at chance for a hot shower, nice bed, A/C, and breakfast in the morning after a full night of turning multiple tricks until 4am? Just don't be complaining if her performance is less than stellar by then, LOL! And what is TLN at 4am when half the night is already gone?

Just like Puntz79 said, most of the hot chicas know they are hot and get picked out quick. Just because you are offerning 1500 doesn't mean she has to accept it or waste her time trying to haggle with you the same way you do not have to waste your time trying to get her below 2500 pesos.

Could this same chica be had for 1500 pesos? Sure, quite possibly. If you are one of those guys who do not mind waiting until 4am for her after she's been bounced around by 3 to 4 other guys by then, then of course she probably would go for 1500 TLN. What chica wouldn't jump at chance for a hot shower, nice bed, A / C, and breakfast in the morning after a full night of turning multiple tricks until 4am? Just don't be complaining if her performance is less than stellar by then, LOL! And what is TLN at 4am when half the night is already gone?Well (#1) no matter what time of day she's probably already been with someone in the last 3 hours and (#2) I've picked up girls at 12am for $2500. $3000 TLN. I generally don't stay out too late.

A woman is only as hot as how many men are sweating her, it's hard to feel like a "10" when you've been sitting by yourself all night.

Paying more is no guarantee of quality, unfortunately that's the type of thinking that will turn a buyer's market like Sosua into a seller's market

Paying more is no guarantee of quality, unfortunately that's the type of thinking that will turn a buyer's market like Sosua into a seller's marketWe've seen it happen in other markets. From the reports I'm reading, it seems like Sosua continues to trend in that direction. Unfortunately, some Americans use their economy as a reference point when traveling to third world countries, instead of the local economy and customs.

Paying more is no guarantee of quality, unfortunately that's the type of thinking that will turn a buyer's market like Sosua into a seller's marketI agree with you completely. No one is arguing that more money equates to better service. What I am saying is let's "keep it one-hunned" up in here.

If Pinky (the pornstar, back in her early career) was strutting down the streets of Sosua, you cannot tell me that guys would not be tripping over each other and cock-blocking just to get to her first.

Not because they feel she gives great service; it is because most folks would agree that Pinky is very visually attractive. A broad like that can set her own prices, and if you don't want to pay them then you miss out on that ride.

I wouldn't mind paying to hit that if she wanted 2500 pesos. And I would definitely love to add those trophy photos to my collection and brag about it to my boys back home on (relationship) lock, LOL.

On the flip side, not everybody would agree that Pinky is attractive. They may be more into a Jada Fire or a Misty Stone.

FYI: "Buyers Market", "Sellers. Market"; not every chica in Sosua is doable. There are fuglies that will always be mixed into the scene taking up space. You will always be competing with other mongers for the same small pool of attractive chicas available. Supply and Demand. Which is why I always say if you want the odds to be in your favor and avoid a "Sausage Fest", then don't travel to the DR during US Federal holidays.

You will always be competing with other mongers for the same small pool of attractive chicas available.Trust me, there's plenty of ass to go around and the "one-hunned" truth is they're really competing for US!

Remember these women are essentially losers who only have one thing of value, and it's only really valuable in relation to who wants it. If Pinky grew up in the backwoods of Utah somewhere she couldn't give it away if she tried. The main problem is thirsty guys are over validating these chicas to the point where they have the arrogance to ask for 4000ps a night in a country where the average monthly salary is far less. And then they go fuck some bum Dominican dude raw for free! Personally I avoid the grumpy faced, high maintenance chica wolves in the catsuits because the sex NEVER justifies the cost. They want more and they'll do less.

EDIT: In short there should be a cap on what we pay because these girl will push and push until 5000 ST becomes standard.

EDIT: In short there should be a cap on what we pay because these girl will push and push until 5000 ST becomes standard.Again, will never happen because of Supply and Demand. The only way this would ever play out is if all of the chicas in Sosua got together and formed a Union.

A chica barely getting 1 or 2 customers a night (because she is not as attractive as some of the other chicas) is NOT going to be asking for 5000 pesos. She may try to see if you are noobish enough to fall for it; she may even try to pull the ole switcharoo with you once you get her into the room (agreeing to 1500 on the street, then jacking the price up to 5000 in your hotel room; see Mr. Gogo's Boca Chica trip report he just posted in his forum) , but it will not take her long to realize that she cannot ask for the same prices that a more attractive chica getting 3 or more clients a day can.

And don't forget about the Haitians. As long as they are around the pricing structure will never be what you are predicting. Those Haitian chicas are desperate and do not want any trouble from the police. They will take almost anything you offer them, which is why the Dominicanas hate them (they blame them for "fucking up the prices" (low) the same way we blame the "make it rain" crowd for "fucking up the prices" (high)).

Why do I say Dominican Republic is volent?

1. The police extorted 1-3 of my friends per week in Sosua. This is nuts.

2. The British Guardian newspaper site says the Dominican Republic is: "The world's most dangerous country for drivers."

3. I hear of one armed robbery per week, with guns, like some inner city Detroit, Michigan, gang violence. It is just like you see in the films.

4. The people in the Dominican Republic are copying the gang culture and music of the USA. Their pants are down, and the music is dominating. This is not Caribbean paradise. Sosua has one of the best beaches on the planet, yet sadly, more expats are killed, arrested or extorted there than any other place I know of on planet earth.

5. Dominican Republic is the black America that everyone fears, the worst of the worst, something from a cliche ghetto movie. That is the DR.

This bundle of violence Is too heavy; Enough is enough!

But What about Africa? What Is the problem with Africa? Why are people afraid of Africa?

The problem with Africa is simple: It is full of black people, and Americans are afraid of large groups of black people. The mere idea of a group of black people in one spot brings out 500 years of racial fears.

We must look at what Africa is, not what America is.

Yes, we Americans are politically correct in our words about black African culture. But the actions of Americans are obvious: They want nothing to do with a black African. And the black Americans are even worse. They actually get angry when I ask them to come to Africa.

All this is good for me. It will take another 20-30 years before they realize that African black culture is 90 percent different than the made-for-TV, HBO films of ghettoes. The cliche stereotype wins out in the minds of most American tourists, and I am rewarded for seeing that people are people. Color is irrelevant, but culture is not, though. We need to be afraid of cultures, not colors of skins.

There are many violent cultures. Some are black, but if you want true violence, then find a white culture. 50 million people were killed by white Nazi Germans in WWII. To accomplish true Holocaust-level violence, you need whites. And we still whitewash Germany, as if they did not do it.

What is Africa?

Each small village in Africa has existed for thousands of years. It is like small town Indiana: Everyone knows everyone, and nobody can get away with anything; they will catch you in seconds. Violence and theft are not tolerated.

CNN and the media can portray Africans in the worst possible ways, but refuse to truly say that the Germans killed 50 million while Africa is just a wimp. The facts are the facts: Africans make small wars; it takes the whites to drop atomic weapons.

Then, because 99 percent of travel writers need to speak English and are too lazy to get a visa, they travel to the 1 in 53 African countries that are dangerous. The go to South Africa. Nelson Mandela and his terrorist lifestyle, following the apartheid created by Europeans, makes this country one the last on my list countries to visit. Its violence level is about the same as the Dominican Republic's.

AIDs is 20 plus percent there, and carjackings are normal. But then again, South Africa is full of white people. Go figure!

Stop being slow; be savvy. Africa has 53 countries and 2,000 plus languages. South Africa and Nairobi, Kenya, are not typical African countries; they are whitebread Africa.

But if you are honest, you will know that you are afraid of any large group of blacks in the USA, and rightly so. A large group of blacks in the USA is dangerous.

There is a reason I return to Africa. I love small town Indiana, and I love small town Africa. The people are a different color than me, but it has the small town life I need.

The best thing that has changed about travel in the last 10 years is that we no longer need to stop in the big, violent cities on the planet. We can actually visit the people of the country and bypass the violence of big cities. Just say no.

As an Indiana farm boy, I do not want New York culture to be my culture. And we should not allow your cliche view of Detroit inner city gang war movies to be superimposed onto Africa. It is just subconscious fears. Time to open your mind and come to Africa, before it changes.

This place is how South America was 15 years ago, a traveler's paradise.

Now that the bars-clubs put up the windows, How does it affect your mongering compared to before? Not at all. I am virtually retired from active mongering, but I can speak for my active friends in the area. None of them take or look for chicas in those environments. If they ever go in it is to socialize with visiting monger friends. If the environment is less pleasant they may be reluctant to do even that. It must be six or seven years since I last took a chica from one of the places affected.

When D'Latins became the premier club, I was confounded and didn't understand how people would prefer it over the great Classico's, but I was wrong. Believe me, Amando has a method to his madness.

Do you guys have any strategies for getting chicas to take nude pics / video? The only strategy I have ever had with pros is to take out my camera and start snapping. Sometimes with non-pros I might tease them about making a movie then keep my camera close. Or while I'm hitting say something like,"Girl this pussy is so good that I got to take a picture of it." Then always show them the pictures after and email them as well. I always travel with a small extendable tripod from Walmart, although I'm not too much into that type of thing anymore. Cost about $15.

Question for my curiosity.

Do you guys have any strategies for getting chicas to take nude pics / video?I mentioned it a few posts back. Negotiate it up front.

I'll have a chica approach me after I've given her the eye, and I tell her that she will have to do "fotos disnuda". If she disagrees, see ya later. If she agrees just to get me to take her, and has no intention of taking pictures. Then the next step covers that.

I take the pics before the deed and after. If she flakes before. That's the best time to find out. Get rid of her then. If she flakes on some pictures, was was she going to do in the sack?

And yes, they ALWAYS want to see the pictures after you take them. If you don't take pictures of their face, they'll get really open and friendly with the camera. If you have their face in the shot, they'll freak, and want to stop taking pictures, or they won't let you get the GOOD shots, because they don't want you to put it on the "intah-net" or "fayboo".

I'm not saying you need to resort to these type of negotiations:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtnCkE5RpK0.

But making it known up front is usually all it takes.

Side note. I've had to negotiate like this (in the video) when in Tijuana with the chicas in the alley behind HK and AB. It can be an adventure, but most times, I'm not up for it.

I don't know how I forgot to add this in my trip report from a few days back but a chica did try to attempt to pick pocket me.

So I am standing outside Rumbas just scoping out the talent when an older about mid 30s unattractive chica comes up to me saying lets freaky freaky. I politely say no gracias mami. Then the girl starts trying to grab me. I grab her arms to try and prevent her from touching me. She then proceeds to start pulling out her titties. I say no mami muchos personas aqui, what are you doing? LOL So I just walk across the street in hopes that she would leave me alone. Like 3 minutes later the chica shows up again this time way more aggressive, so I just put both hands in my pocket and kept saying no gracias mami. Luckliy there was a Police Officer around and he told her to leave me alone. The Officer then says to me in good English, she's no good, she's a thief. I said gracias papi and kept it moving. Now there is a 3 day period for the judge to allow CMP to reopen. If this happens maybe some of the nonsense will stop. As far as Passions they are still closed and he has tried on several occasions to reopen but has been denied. In the third world there are laws and there are enforcement of the laws, now we must wait to see if the law is enforced."

I'm glad I booked early! The depiero has rooms for under 50, apts 50ish. Includes brkfast and transpo to and from airport. Also condos dominicano is under 50, I perfer the de piero. I'm sure you can find something in your price range. Thanks for the suggestions, I will check them out, in my last trip I stayed couple nights at Chessa, its a little far from the action but I like that the guard takes the I'd from the girl I'm bringing, and give it back to her when I take her out to the gate.

Was in Sosua 2 weeks ago. Met the cutest girl. Back in the room she grabs my cell phone and says for $2, 000 DR ($47 USD) more she will take a video of "us". I know negotiate. But I said sure. She did everything I asked on video. I didn't even know my iPhone took video.

I actually found that on his facebook, he posted it yesterday:Cubadave is certainly not the sharpest knife in the drawer!

Do you think whatever administration, or whoever is greasing the wheels and "fucking"with CMP, Passions, D'Latin Drink and Rumba's windows does not know about Cubadave's 1000 youtube videos and Fayboo page?

Put two and two together, this douchebag is going to be extorted at some point, just my opinion.

He is giving his opinion and having fun I can not be mad at him. I am a different kind of monger but there are plenty of guys who love going to the casas for action. For those guys he is the man. The clubs should be paying him for all the love4 he gives them. He has nothing to worry about.

Thanks for clearing that up. Its crazy how some people can try to make a negative comment but yet don't have full knowledge of the culture. It's not a cultural thing, I stand for what I said. There's no need to use ghetto slang just to "fit in", when we talk, we're letting out who we are. If you want to use it, it's your problem. As a Latino who speaks Spanish, I was just trying to help.

Hi folk,

I am planning some vacation in The Dominican Republic around Christmas time until mid January.

I have previously seen photos of girls equipped with numbers performing at a pool. I guess the guest could chose from them and bang them afterwards.

Can anyone here enlighten me in how this concept works, where does it take place and what does it cost you? Do you have to stay a the place where they arrange it in order to chose a girl etc.

Any information would be hihgly appreciated!

Thnsk guys.

Is that $2000DR plus the price you negotiated on?Yes, so $4, 500 DR ($105) for multiple hours of sex- I don't want her to stay all night- and all the video I have room for on my phone.

Those photos are from Blackbeards. I believe they have a weekly contest.

The numbers are so that you know which one to vote for. The chicas get the prizes. All of the girls are available.

Thnsk guys.[/QUOTE]There's a bikini contest every other Sat. At Blackbeards. Most of the ladies in the contest work at Blackbeards but there are some who are just there to be in the contest. After the show its up to you to snatch up your favorite chica and find out, and its obvious you will have to have a room there to take care of business. Most of the crowd clears out quickly after the contest, but the chicas will use Sat. As a nite to check out early so you have to negotiate before it gets too late on that night.

Those photos are from Blackbeards. I believe they have a weekly contest.Weekly? I thought it was monthly, but could be wrong.

Those photos are from Blackbeards. Not necessarily. Blackbeards is the oldest established contest (still going) and most regular but other places do the same, either as one-offs or from time to time. Field of Dreams is an obvious example.

The numbers are so that you know which one to vote for.Let me guess, Guthrie. You are a rocket scientist, right?

Can anyone here enlighten me in how this concept works, where does it take place and what does it cost you? Do you have to stay a the place where they arrange it in order to chose a girl etc.I assume you are kidding about not knowing how it works. We have covered where. Chicas at Blackbeards and Field of Dreams cost around 1600 pesos short-time and around 3000 the night. Anywhere else might be different.

No, you do not have to be a resident to view the contest at Blackbeards or Field of Dreams. Last time I was at Blackbeards they applied an entry fee (I think it was 200 pesos) to day visitors in a patchy and haphazard sort of way. They did not try it on with me. You don't need to be a resident to rent a chica but you will need to pay extra either to take her off premises (called a "salida") or for short-time use of a room, assuming one is available. Around 800 pesos?

Why anyone would want to pay to watch at Blackbeards, then pay the girl, then pay a salida on top, I cannot imagine. Not a very cost-effective way of mongering.

This trip on a mission. Found an apt last trip and moving in today. This trip 1st time I ever had this much luggage. But every bag I had was packed to the brim. Back home while texting a couple of chicas I know, I tell them I might need their help getting my place together. Like cleaning or cooking. I talked to the owner prior to coming down, and he said he could have it cleaned for 500 pesos. Done deal, do it! Maybe I don't need them chicas. Plus, what would they expect if I hired them? 500 pesos sounds a lot better than a chica expecting to be paid 1500 pesos or more. Especially if were fucking too.

As expected my ride / rental was a no show at the airport. I had to call and have them come pick me up. And as expected, the driver didn't come in the vehicle I requested. We get to Sosua and my buddy J agreed to help me with my stuff. So he met me on the corner of Pedro Clisante & Dr Rosen. As soon as we turn onto PC, I spotted a cute chica talking to another chica. I took her to Dulce Secreto last trip. She was surprised and happy to see me. She had the look,"Finally a customer". We agree to hook up later.

I get into my spot, and it looks like it's been cleaned. However nobody ever came to me asking for any money for cleaning services. In fact they left a broom and mop in the apt, which I claimed as my starter set. While J is helping me at my place, I get a call from the cutie I bumped into earlier. I guess she couldn't wait. I gave her directions and she arrives by moto. As soon as she gets inside she starts helping me make up the bed. Kinda fitting since I intend to have her in it at some point. After a while I dropped J off, and her and I went out to get some food and brought it back.

This was my juice for the night. We had a pretty intense session. For one I needed get that nuisance nut out of the way, and two we both were more comfortable in my new spot as opposed to being on the clock in a cabana. We would see each other for 2 more nights, a break for one night and then one more night. After that it was time to move on. Chica never cooked. Don't think she can anyway. But she cleaned the spot every day she was there.

Later in the week I was dropping J off at Condos Margarita. I spot the 40 ish woman (Nancy) I had last trip sitting at the bar across the street talking to the bargirl. I was trying to avoid her this trip, but figured it might be impossible. We talk. Now mind you, this woman has a smoking body. Especially her ass. Small titties, but they are perky and stare at you through her shirts. At this point I'm busted. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to get some of that juicy ass. I was to meet up with her later outside of New Garden, and then drive to my spot. But as expected, the chica didn't really know what or where the hell New garden was. And since she was late at least 20 minutes, I was going to leave.

Thats part of my lateness policy I'm sticking to. If a chica isn't on time, I'll give them what I think is reasonable time before I bounce. There was one little problem though. I have another DR phone that I use for backup. She only had that number. So she was calling it, but I couldn't answer it because I had left it in my spot. Whatever, I really didn't want to take her to my spot in the 1st place. Because I knew she would be a pain in the ass afterwards. Especially after seeing my new spot. J was waiting with me, and so I drove him back to his spot.

Guess who shows up on a moto at Condos Margarita? You guessed it. Nancy. I had a feeling she was going to track me down. That seems to be a skill with some of these women. Especially when money is involved. She probably had the moto drive her all over the place looking for me. I take her to my spot. Her head game was pretty good last trip, especially since she doesn't mind CIM with no bolting for the bano. So when she started there I didn't think much off it. But after a while I notice she is working this thing entirely too long. It's time to feel the box, or at least taste it.

Boom she drops a bomb. She claims I can't go down on her because she is finishing her period. This doesn't surprise me with this chick. She does shit and then acts like she is clueless of whats going on. For instance. Last trip she showed up at my hotel door without calling or getting an invite from me to come. Trouble is, I didn't check her on that. Figured it was a one time thing. Wrong. Chick did it again but this time at my new spot. Each occasion I either had no company, or my buddy J was with me. So no harm done. But I can't let her think she can come whenever she feels like it. This time, I put her in check about her coming without calling an especially an invite.

Anyway, she claims she is on her period. This chick tried to pull a number on me. The main thing she was focused on is getting a payday. She wasnt going to let her being on her period stop that from happening. However, I stopped everything. Got her dressed and told her she needed to go. However, she got what she wanted for that moment, because I paid her the agreed 1200 pesos, and walked her out to a moto.

2 days later is when she decided to stop by uninvited. She figured if she wasnt on her period, I would want to fuck her and thus she would have a another pay day from me. But when she showed up, I made it clear she can't come to my spot unless I call her to come. Of course she puts on the "I'm sorry" act. This chick has got a little game in her arsenal of deceit. When she realizes there aint no p4p at this point, she turns and asks for money to buy a sandwich. That could easily be 500 pesos. Because it's unlikely someone would hand her only 150 pesos for her to eat. To that I refused. I'm thinking. I paid you 1200 pesos last time. Buy your own damn sandwich. I think its a game with someof these chichas just to see what they can get out of a guy. And if you agree to buy them something especially after they fucked up, that would be reinforcing a wrong message to them. I decided not to reward her for fucking up. Okay no $ for sandwich. So then the chick asks me for $ for a moto?

I looked at her like she was crazy. You came to my spot on your own dime without an invite and you expect me to pay your transpo to leave? I walked her out to the street, and apparently the moto she came on was still waiting for her at the gate. WTF? She had it all planned on how she was going to get a pay day, or some compensation from me, one way or another. As much as I would have liked to fuck her again. I decided she had fucked herself out of another payday. At least for this trip.

My San Pedro girl showed up on the 12th. So far it's been good. She cooks good, keeps the place clean and the in house juice is great. Only thing is, she is crazy about watching TV. Her novellas, peliculas and assorted spanish programming has her glued for hours. I went out one night to meet up with a chica I have known for a while, but we never hooked up. I always wanted to fuck this chica. She has a nice juicy round ass, and delicious kissable lips.

We meet up at Rockys and since I can't take her to my spot, I was about to take her to a cabana. She tells me her spot is just around the corner. Right next to the Liguor store on PC, there is a small walk path that leads to some rooms. We go to hers. Once inside. It's not long we get right down to business. DFK, DATY, massages. I'm terrible with condoms, I tend to lose the feeling too quickly. So I need someone who can revive junior and give him an incentive to continue. After some decent sex, I can't really feel her anymore. At least the kissing is keeping me going somewhat. She eventually removes the condom, cleans me off, and finishes me off with BBBJCIM. But she bolted to spit. Oh well, it was still good. In the end, this chica saved me a little money by going to her spot. Because I didn't have to drive to or use a cabana.

Afterwards went back to my spot, and had another session with my PT wife.

I never understood Black beards policy of picture taking. You can take as many pictures as you want of the bikini contest, but they won't allow you to video tape. Makes no sense to me.
It did make perfect sense once. Maybe obsolescent now.

It originated in earlier days of mongering here. In those days most mongers knew everyone else, either in person or online, and would post chica pictures or exchange them online as a matter of course.

Even the biggest cyber-dunce like myself knows how to conceal the identity of other mongers so not to blow their cover, and I have passed many hours over the years with Photoshop doing just that. But I would not know where to start doing that with video. I imagine it takes a lot of skill or specialized software?

The new breed of monger arriving in mass are as inconsiderate in that as they are in other matters of social behaviour. (Hence the backlash against mongers in Sosua). Most of them are not members of the puta-boards and don't post pictures. If they do, they could not care less (or as Americans illogically say "could care less") about protecting the identity of other gringos who have the misfortune to be in their vicinity.

Introduction:

I have recently returned from spending time in the north coast of the Dominican Republic. I spent 3 days in Cabarete and 4 days in Sosua. Since Sosua has been covered at nauseam I wanted to view Sosua in contrast with Cabarete comparing the similarities and the differences. Some of the information contained in this synopsis is well known to veteran mongers but new information to others, my objective is to be as informative as possible to all who are interested. Below I have listed my thoughts:

Novice Mongers:

• Bring your own condoms and lube those products are generally inferior in the Dominican Republic.

• Carry any electronics in your carry on in order to avoid damage.

• Be sure to have the address of your lodging you will need it for your immigration paperwork.

• You will need $10. 00 for your tourist card at immigration.

• Carry a color photocopy of your passport once you hit the ground and keep your original secured.

• Call your credit card companies and advise them when and where you will be traveling so your cards do not get declined in case you have to use them on the ground. It is advisable to only use your credit card at ATM's everything else you should use cash.

• Only carry as much money as you think you need. You might want to carry different amounts in different places such as socks, shoes or back pockets in the unfortunate event you are robbed or shook down by La Policia.

• The water is not fit to drink therefore only drink bottled water.

Airfare:

I have noticed different airfares for DR travelers using different airlines. Sometimes airfares are cheaper flying into Santo Domingo & Santiago as opposed to Puerto Plata. Since I am building miles on American Airlines I checked AA routes to all 3 major DR cities and there is no appreciable difference between airfares, therefore it cost approximately the same flying into POP as it would STI or SDQ. YMMV depending on your airline of choice.

Pre-Trip Preparation:

Many of us have become sick during our travels and I am no different. On my last trip I became sick and it almost ruined my vacation. There are conflicting reports but it is reported by some that re-circulated air through the cabin of the aircraft can be the culprit because when a person sneezes that air is re-circulated again. Others report touching tray tables or any other item on the aircraft that may be infected by some ones germs may be the culprit. Regardless as to the reason I decided to build up my immune system by taking Emergen-C and Echinacea & Golden Seal daily a week before my travel. My hope was a strengthened immune system would be able to ward off some of the typical infections that have the potential to spoil my vacation.

Cabarete:

Cabarete is a beach town in the north coast about 20 minutes west of Puerto Plata that is famous for tourism, and For our new members who are unaware the primary difference between Cabarete and Sosua is Cabarete does not have an international reputation for prostitution. PFP exist but is not as obvious as in Sosua. Cabarete is in many ways the reverse of Sosua, with older Euro and Aussie women chasing running young Dominican men, who are called "Sankie Pankies."

Sosua:

Sosua is also a beach town in the north coast about 10 minutes west of Cabarete that is also famous for tourism. The Sosua beach is different from the Cabarete beach because it is a popular destination for snorkeling and scuba diving. Sosua is also a vacation destination for local Dominicans who want to use the beach on the weekends. Sosua's most notable reputation is for being the primary PFP destination in the Dominican Republic.

Hotels:

Kite Beach Inn #5 Cabarete (Calle Principal)

The Kite Beach Inn is just outside Cabarete, it sits on Kite Beach were you can see the kite and wind surfers from the rear of the hotel as well as the balcony which faces the beach. If you use the hotel transportation will be required because it is 5 minutes by moto to Cabarete and 15 minutes by car to Sosua. Walking to Cabarete is doable but not advisable because the road is very narrow and very dark at night. The room reminds me of the basic New Garden rooms just a little more modern. I had good hot water in the shower but I had some WI-FI connectivity problems that were resolved and the air conditioner was not very cold. My room had a balcony that faced the beach which was very convenient for a cool evening if you wanted to chill outside. There was security at night and the front door was closed but not locked at night. There was no safe however the staff was very attentive and helpful, I paid $50. 00 per night.

Mary Rose Apartments Drive Sosua (Alejo Martinez)

Mary Rose is about 5 minutes from El Centro Sosua by car or moto and 15 minutes walking. It is an apart-hotel with a living room, kitchen and bedroom. The grounds were clean and the vibe was laid back especially in the evening when some of the residents gathered around the bar in front of the pool. The hot water was slow and the air conditioner did not cool very well. There was security at night and the front gate had to be open with a key that you received separate from the door key. There was a rooster that let you know when it was sun up and the owner had dogs that made their presence known. If you do not like dogs this would not be your best hotel option as they were very vocal. There was an electronic safe in the bedroom and the staff was very attentive and helpful, I paid $75. 00 per night.

Supermercados:

• Playero. Calle Principle Sosua: Has more selection than Janet's in Cabarete but the prices are about the same.

• Janet's. Calle Principle Cabarete: Not a very extensive selection, if you need some serious shopping you might need to go to La Sirena in Puerto Plata.

Both stores have cell phone stores I was able to get my SIM card and internet, phone and text data for a week for just under 800DP. In the past have misplaced my SIM cards I will definitely keep this one and keep it charged.

• Little New York- Little New York is a convenient store (colmado) just to the left of Mary Rose in Sosua. The selection is small it is no Puerto Plata La Sirena but it will do in a pinch.

Dinero:

• Wells Fargo US: 37-1.

• POP Airport :36-1.

• Casa de Cambio. Sosua: 42-1 *Pedro Clisante across from Rumba's. After my 3rd time changing $100. 00 bills he gave me 4100DP instead of the 4200DP he was supposed to. I called him on it he gave me my 100DP and I moved my business for the rest of the trip to the below listed casa de cambio. In addition he is known to change the rate late at night when the other casa de cambios are closed.

• Casa de Cambio. Sosua 42-1 *Calle DR Rosen across from Rockies.

• Wally Cambio- Cabarete: 42-1 *Calle Principle Cabarete in the center of town.

• Pesos Dollars.

500 $11. 80.

1, 000 $23. 60.

1, 500 $35. 40.

2, 000 $47. 00.

2, 500 $59. 00.

3, 000 $70. 80.

3, 500 $82. 60.

4, 000 $94. 40.

Transportation:

I talked with my taxista for information on transportation cost for those of us who do not want to rent cars. These numbers are ball park and like everything can be negotiated YMMV.

Taxi:

• POP Airport. Sosua $25. 00.

• POP Airport. Cabarete $35. 00.

• POP Airport. Puerto Plata City $35. 00.

• POP Airport. Costumbar (Blackbeards) $45. 00.

• POP Airport. Santiago $100. 00.

• POP Airport- Santo Domingo $200. 00.

• Cabarete. Puerto Plata City $45. 00.

• Cabarete. Sosua $15. 00.

Gua Gua (mini bus run during the day but not at night) Carro Publico (public taxis that run 24/7these are beat up Toyotas & Hondas that may or may not have brakes and the fuel gauges are almost always on empty.)

• Cabarete. Sosua 50DP during the day.

• Sosua. Cabarete Carro Publico after dark if there are no passengers it is totally negotiable. I have paid as little as 200DP and as much as 300DP. You can negotiate with the drivers to take you to many North Coast destinations YMMV depending on your negotiation and Spanish skills.

Motos:

Motoconchos is an in-expensive way to travel but it can be very scary as some of the drivers drive recklessly. Some are drug runners who work with the police so you can play at your own risk. Others are chulos for the chicas. Some are just Dominicanos just hustling to make some pesos.

• Around Cabarete & Sosua 1 way 35. 50DP.

• Cabarete. Sosua. I had a moto driver quote me 150DP while I was waiting for a carro publico. IMHO Cabarete. Sosua is entirely too long to be on a moto (10-15 minutes) Motos are scary enough on short trips but on long trips I definitely recommend 4 wheels over 2 wheels. Moto drivers will hard sell you because they are trying to eat, choose at your own risk.

For those who do not know riding in gua guas and carro publicos can be an adventure. First you experience la cultura de los Dominicanos first hand. Second it is an in-expensive way to travel. Imagine riding in a vehicle equipped for 5 that has 6 people in it and you are the 7th, you are in for a ride. Some drive so fast that the vehicles feel like they are going to tip over. One time the only way I could fit in one was to stick my head out the window because it was so crowded. I remember smelling the fresh country air complete with the scent of cow manure. As a person who has driven luxury and sports cars at home and doesn't use public transportation traveling with them is a humbling experience that I will never forget as long as I live.

Casas de Citas:

• Passions- Pedro Clisante, Sosua: Passions is still closed.

• CMP- Pedro Clisante, Sosua: Caribbean Man's Parades is still closed.

• Elvis- Calle Vello, Cabarete: behind Janet's Supermercado.

I visited Elvis about 2 years ago when I was in Cabarete. The casa is an open air bar with a flatscreen tv over the bar. There are rooms in a house that is next door. There were a half dozen chicas all between 7-8. I remember being told the tarifa was about 1500DP for ST on premises. On my last trip one of their chicas quoted $200. 00 and subsequently went down to $150. 00. Needless to say they won't be seeing any of my money.

Cabarete Night Life:

The beach at Cabarete is absolutely beautiful at night, there is a light breeze and you can hear the waves crashing in the background. You can see a few stars and the pitch black sky. The beach is lit up with Christmas Tree lights and multi-colored lanterns. There are several bars, restaurants and clubs on the beach some have tables and chairs in front and others have couches and lounge chairs. The most notable venues are as follows:

• Ojo Club. Is an open air bar with a large dance floor. I enjoyed this venue more than the others because they consistently played salsa, merengue and bachatta but later on in the night they drifted over to Hip Hop. I don't understand why people travel thousands of miles to the Dominican Republic to eat hamburgers and french fries and listen to Hip Hop music but to each his own.

• Havana Club- Is an open air bar also but much smaller than the Ojo Club with a very small dance floor. The music was a mix between Hip Hop and Reggae with a decent crowd.

• Chino Bar- Is an open air bar and resturant with chairs and couches on the beach, it had a very laid back feel with quite a few couples lunging and talking.

• Eze Bar- Is an open air bar with mostley extranjeros sitting sround talking.

• Lazy Dog. Is an open air bar also but most of the people were sitting outside and the bar was relatively empty.

• Jose Oshay's. Is an outdoor bar also but it had a sports bar feel with tv's outside.

• The was a mix between live music and DJ's playing at the different venues with a variety of music from salsa to rock. The draw back with the clubs at the beach was there was no central meeting place like Sosua's D'Latins. It was a pain walking back and forth in the sand trying to get a good feel so I just settled for the Ojo Club and Havana Club.

• D Pepe Disco Bar-The D Pepe Disco Bar is on Calle Principal located upstairs across the street from Jose O'Shay restaurant and bar. There is 1 bar and 4 pool tables and a dance floor with a stripper pole. The music was bachata and the half dozen chicas that were there were 6 or less a mix between Hatianas and Dominicanas. There was a tin roof and concrete floors, it felt like I was in the middle of the barrio with no trimmings, authentic Dominicano.

My impression was Cabarete night life was a better place for couples with its ambiance than for hunting for chicas.

Sosua Night Life:

The below listed information is for people who are unfamiliar with Sosua. Pedro Clisante has a block where some of the major action occurs in Sosua at night below I have listed the major venues:

• D Latin's. The current primary night tourist bar for Sosua. It gets so crowded around 1 am that you cannot move with ease. If the venue had to meet US fire code standards it would be shut down as a fire hazard during busy time. If there was ever a fire or large disturbance and you were in the wrong location of the club you would be stuck. I recommend staying close to the doors. It was formally and open air bar with a very small dance floor. Now D' Latins has tinted glass all around and 3 front doors that serve as entrances and exits. There are ceiling fans and large fans near the 3 doors that help to circulate the outside air in. As long as you stay in the path of the fans you can stay comfortable. The music is a mix between American and local.

• Rumba's. The primary afternoon and early evening tourist bar for Sosua. Sometimes it gets so crowded that there is very little space for movement. The venue has a open air sports bar feel with multiple flat screen TV's. The is a small dance floor next to the DJ booth. The frames for the glass is up but at the time of this report they have no glass. The music is a mix between American and local.

• El Flow. The primary local bar on Pedro Clisante. There is a bar backroom and tables. The venue has been closed in and has transparent glass on the outside. The music is local a mix between bachata, merengue and salsa.

• Merengue. Classicos. Merengue is the downstairs open air bar next to Classicos which is totally enclosed upstairs on the second floor. Classicos was closed at the time of this report. Merengue has a circular bar with chairs that surround it and chairs and tables along the outer perimeter of the bar. Since there is no music it is an excellent place to conduct interviews because you don't have to contend with excessive noise.

• Bar Central. Is Haitian Headquarters and chocolate city, it is the bar that most Hatianas hang at. The bar is has a open front and is not really a place where people listen to music and dance but it more like a meeting place. At the time of this report there was no glass and just a frame.

• Winners Circle- Is a sports bar that is totally enclosed with transparent glass on the outside. The bar is a place to drink meet and listen to music but it is not very large it also can serve as a good place to interview or chill with a chica or your friends.

• The Spot- Is a sports bar type venue that is totally enclosed with transparent glass on the outside. The bar is a place to drink meet and listen to music but it is not very large it also can serve as a good place to interview or chill with a chica or your friends if the music is not too loud.

• El Toro- Was a famous bar on the strip that is now closed.

For night owls in Sosua:

Night owls have 3 major venues they can attend after 3am. You are likely to see some of the same people you have seen on the strip.

• After One- Should be called After 3 because it doesn't open until 3 am. It is located in the same building as the Sosua Bay Casino. There is a 100 peso cover by some of the same security that you see in D Latin's. The music is a mix of techno, local and American. The venue has 2 bars. 2 dance floors and 2 balconies.

• Carpirina- Is an outdoor venue with a bar and tables and chairs on the lawn outside. It is on a side street off Aliejo Martinez.

• Copacabana (Chelo). Is an outdoor venue with a bar and tables and chairs on the lawn outside. It is on a side street off Aliejo Martinez after you pass Carpirina.

La Comida Cabarete:

The Kite Beach Inn currently does not have a restaurant so I ate most of my meals on the restaurants on Cabarete beach. I enjoyed eating on the beach because the weather was decent with a nice breeze and the sound of waves crashing behind me was like music to my ears. The 2 problems I had were the dogs that expected you to feed them and the touts selling their trinkets who I had mixed emotions towards, part of me was annoyed and part of me felt compassion because that is the only way they eat. I realize how fortunate I am.

• Desayuno. Extream Hotel restaurant I had the "Boston Breakfast" with eggs, home fries, turkey bacon, sausage and 1 pancake. The presentation was outstanding on the plate and it was equally delicious especially the pancake but it wasn't enough, it was 300DP.

• Almuerzo- Kahuna restaurant I had a "Cesar Salad Wrap" and side salad. The wrap was very tasty with flakey soft bread and the chicken was tender with just the right amount of Cesar Salad dressing it was quite tangy, it was 400DP.

• Cena- Jose O'Shay's restaurant I had I think they called it "Pollo Maja". Chicken covered with tomatoes, rice and mixed vegetables. It looked better than it tasted it was 700DP.

La Comida Sosua:

Sosua has beach restaurants like Cabarete but I did not partake. The restaurants in town are far more diverse than in Cabarete there is everything from expensive Italian to "comida tipico." The restaurants are too many to count, there is also street food for those who want to eat inexpensively. Below I have listed some of my dining experiences in Sosua:

• Desayuno. Rocky's restaurant I had #50 eggs, bacon, ham and a pancake with a banana. The pancake with a banana was a different flavor that reminded me of when my aunt used to take old bananas and mix them in her pancake batter for some delicious pancakes. I believe the cost was 225DP.

• Almuerzo- Chez Mon Real restaurant I had the smoked salmon salad which reminded me of ceviche, because the salmon was not hot the way I normally eat it. The smoked flavor illuminated the fish taste and it was absolutely delicious. It was 300DP.

• Cena- The Victorian House Cajun Restaurant I had the Mai Mai with brown rice. The Mai Mai was thick and juicy the rice was spicy with just enough kick to make you want to wash it down with your favorite beverage. It was 750DP.

Other eating options:

• Baily's. My trips to Sosua would not be complete without eating crepes de helado especially on a hot day they are very refreshing. I paid 350DP.

• Hot Resturante en Merengue. Merengue only used o have pizzas back in the day but now they have a restaurant with snack items, burgers, wings etc. I had the Quesadas which were great the chicken was tender and spicy. I paid 250DP.

• Copacabana (Chelo). I had Sopa de pollo con arroz. It tasted like sancocho without the corn different meats and yucca. It hit the spot at 5 in the morning. It was 100DP.

Cabanas:

Cabanas are short time love motels that are used as a sex get away. You drive a car into the "garage" and they close a curtain behind the car. Then you enter the room. Any food and drink etc, are delivered via a box in the wall and tunnels between rooms so they put stuff in the box, ring a bell and leave, and then you open the door on your side of the box and get your stuff.

Cabana Costa Mar outside Cabarete:

Cabana Costa Mar on Calle Principal right after you pass Janet's Supermarcado leaving Cabarete. I unwittingly got the Jacuzzi room for 1000DP for 4 hours. I was looking for the basic room but as fate would have it I thoroughly enjoyed the room and my company. The room had piped in music but I had no idea how to change the station. The room has a sitting area to your left when you walk in and big king size bed and 30 inch flat screen television hanging on the wall. My only complaint was the cable wasn't getting a signal but then again I was not there to watch television. The Jacuzzi was great the jets felt good and the room had a great aesthetic feel to it.

Dulce Secreto Sosua near Playa Chikita:

Dulce Secreto is a cabana style apart hotel that is within walking distance of Hotel Voramar. It is a 20 minute walk from el centro Sosua and a 5 minute moto ride. Inside the complex there are several garage doors, you go inside the garage close the door and walk upstairs to your room. The rooms are very nice with condoms, candy, soap and towels on the bed. There is a flat screen TV for your viewing pleasure. There is a turn style inside the room where money is exchanged and you never have to see the staff. The tarifa is 590DP for 4 hours of time.

I wanted to go during my most recent Sosua visit but it just didn't work out. My intention was to use the cabana for my ST's with women that I didn't know especially if I didn't get a vibe that I could trust them.

Chicas:

Both Cabarete and Sosua have freelance PFP action. The primary problem with freelancers is there is no one for them to be accountable to like those who work in the casas are accountable to their mamasans. This lack of accountability subjects the monger to the whims of the chica. (I. E. A chica could work during her menstruation and not tell you until you get to the hotel. Under those circumstances you have to determine the best way to handle the situation for you.)

One of my favorite sayings is "quien tienes mas poder un hombre con dinero o una mujer con sexo?" (Who has more power a man with money or a woman with sex?) Mongers who travel to Sosua are sometimes paying ridiculous prices because they have no idea how much power they have. Consumers have a role to play in retail prices in the same way mongers have a say in the Sosua sex market. I suspect the problem in part has been the popularity of Sosua as a sex tourism destination which in turn has brought many travelers who are unaware of the Sosua market and pay whatever the chica ask.

Sosua Tier System:

Apparently there is a tier system for the chicas in Sousa, yes there are levels to this thing just like. Chicas rate themselves according to how they perceive themselves and any other factors they consider important such as experience etc. For example:

• Chica #A perceives herself to be a 9 because she has long natural hair and she is from Santiago she might want 3000DP for ST and 5000DP for TLN.

• Chica #B is a Sosua veteran and she perceives herself o be a 8 she might want 2500DP for ST and 4000DP for TLN.

• Chica #C is just in transit and not a part of the system and she may expect 1500DP for ST and 2500DP for TLN.

The above listed are simply examples. The problem with the tier system is that it is totally subjective and submission to it gives the chicas more power than I believe they deserve. It is always wisdom on our part to pay what WE believe the chica is valued at and not what she believes she is valued at unless it meets our criteria. I do believe with experience you can look at a Sosua chica and reasonably guess what she expects and negotiate accordingly.

Tarifas: Reasonable tarifas for the Sousa sex market should be as follows:

• Short Time ST. 1000-2000DP.

• All night TLN 1500-3000DP (As a rule you should avoid committing to TLN with a chica you just met because you may not have sufficient chemistry to stay the night.)

What you pay will depend on a myriad of factors to include:

• Chemistry and your ability to speak Spanish.

• How attractive you are to the chica you choose (chicas have preferences also sometimes they quote outrageous tarifas because they don't want to be bothered.)

• Day of the week and time of day (The weekend at Rumba is prime time whereas The beginning of the week at After 1 should get you lower tarifa)

• What's going on in the chicas life is she hungry or is she holding out for the big payday.

Observations:

• I saw some chicas with the new Samsung Galaxy Note and I was like "WTF you doing with that damn phone?"

• Dominicanas love their hair and don't be messin with it while you're having sex.

• Some of the oldies who have been on the strip for a while are getting quite thick. Life must be good.

• Early in the week there were a lot of 5's out but toward the end of the week I saw some beautiful women.

• The gay and transgendered population is increasing in Sosua, the world is really changing. I saw I guy with what was apparently a transvestite. Why a man wants to be with a man that looks like a woman is beyond me.

• Apparently checking I'd's is good thing. At D' Latin's. I saw a cute little Bonita that looked to be 21 walk in the door and after security checked her I'd he sent her packing. It is hard to tell the ages of these girls sometimes.

• While in D Latin's I saw this real old looking chica I guess you can call her a mujer talking to 2 younger looking chicas. They were listening intensely and following her around like she was their Master Jedi. Apparently there is an apprenticeship for putaism.

• Why do chicas think we want to spend money on them when they have a stink attitude and a funk face?

• I noticed how many of the chicas interact with other Dominicanos especially the motoconchos as well as La Policia. In those instances I suspect the possibility of collusion.

• I like it when a chica looks at me and says "wha happon?" with that thick Dominican accent.

Conclusion:

Both Cabarete and Sosua are like sisters who are similar but different. They are both small beach towns that are primarily known for tourism. Cabarete has more of a tourist feel because of its international reputation for windsurfing and kite boarding which brings a more diverse group of tourist from as far away as Australia. The weather on Cabarete beach is more comfortable because of the breeze but the touts selling their trinkets can be quite annoying. Sosua beach has touts also but they are primarily situated at the entrance to the beach and after you get through the gauntlet of "my fren" you can generally enjoy yourself in peace.

For the mongering standpoint there is very little comparison between the 2 locations. Cabarete has PFP but it is less visible and the caliber of the chicas is not to the level of Sosua. Sometimes chicas will prefer to do their PFP in Cabarete because the competition is less fierce and in general there is a different demographic of tourist in Cabarete as opposed to Sosua. There are fewer fish in the Cabarete pond than the Sosua pond but IMHO fishing in the Cabarete pond is a worth-while if only for the experience to be able to say "been there done that!" In addition, Cabarete is a good diversion to Sosua because it does not have much of the negative scrutiny that Sosua has. Finally the best purpose for Cabarete for the single male traveler is a place to take a date, if she is not impressed with Cabarete beach at night you might need another woman.

Because I swear I have never observed it. I believe someone we both know had a little p4p in Cabarete at is hotel. As I recall he kinda got hustled. Some chica he met near his hotel quoted him something like 200 pesos for services. Then after the deed is done and it's time for her to go, she claims she meant 2000 pesos, not 200 pesos. He ended up paying her the 2000. We talked about it. And we both agreed. Any chica offering a ridiculously low price for services, that offer is too good to be true.

Carro Publico (public taxis that run 24/7these are beat up Toyotas & Hondas that may or may not have brakes and the fuel gauges are almost always on empty.)Very good report.

Just as a point of interest, many of the taxis run on propane which is kept in a tank in the trunk and has a different fuel gauge, usually underneath the steering column. This may be why you have seen fuel gauges on empty.

I just got back from a week in Sosua. Thanks to CubaDave for all the intel: I brought many power

Bars which helped me through the hungry times.

I stayed at Rockys for $27 / night which is about as cheap as I would get. The rooms were basic, and AC was an extra $10.

Per day. Will spend more next time. Book early!

In the 6 nights, I slept with 3 girls, and one of them two nights.

When I got there on Sunday, I went to Rumba's early. The NFL game was loud, and there were many guys there at 5pm.

I met a girl that looked nice, and I needed to release the load I saved up for 3 days. I was unfamiliar with the.

Scene, but said what the F. We went back, and she became all business. She gave a decent BBBJ, but then for sex, she.

Only wanted mish, and I had to beg her to get on top. NO Doggy allowed. What a jip. So I became somewhat guarded after that.

I saw her out a few times during the week, and wanted to warn the guys she was with, but didn't want drama. She looked ute and petite, and did well for herself, but was all business. But a good BBBJ was worth the 1500p.

A few nights later, I talked to an old timer monger and he said I needed to find an average looking girl that seemed nice.

So I did, and she was good. Again, a great BBBJ, but kind of average body. She was fun though. I saw her the next night,

And she pursued me, so I took her back and did almost the same routine. She allowed CIM, with spit, which was nice.

My last night in Sosua, I said I needed to find one of the real hotties I saw out. They often rolled into Rumbas 3-deep,

With huge attitudes, not catching your glance, and wanting you to pursue them! Imagine that, having to pursue a girl in

Sosua! LOL! I was sitting at El Flow, watching the action at Rumba's, and a gringo was yelling at a local girl because she.

Made a RFM (request for money). He probably banged her, then she asked for additional money. He stormed out, and I talked to

Her, and she seemed nice.

I came up with a plan to tell if a girl is cut throat: ask her to go to another place and see how her attitude changes.

So I asked this girl if she wanted a coffee, and she said ok. So I took her down the street to a German joint, and she.

Was fine. So I felt ok with her, and took her home. She was thicker than I normally like, but it has its benefits. She.

Could take a pounding! I F'd her hard, and long. She took all 6 inches, without any problem, and the harder I f'd her,

The more she loved it! She was a lot more fun than the petite chicks! And again, she did a great BBBJ without having to.

Be asked!

All in all, it is a low-stress, and accessible city in our backyard (4 hours from NY). IMO, there are better cities (Manila.

For example) for girls, but Sosua is close, and easy! I will def. Go back if I can.

Here are some observations I made during my week in Sosua for others to learn from:

-girls complain of there being 'mafia' in Rumbas which are pimps that oversee the girls.

-there are few scams (theft, or short changing you etc.). One scam I did see: a local guy or a girl will come up to you at a bar, and.

Say 'you don't remember me from your hotel? I clean your room! Buy me a beer? ' Walk away.

-there seems to be alot of NYPD (ie cops from NY) in sosua. Don't know why.

-there is a huge 'no shame' element to the locals. For example, I brought a bag of halloween candy for the kids, and when.

I gave a kid a piece, some parents chased me down the street saying 'I have 2 more babies at home'. Lame!

-my sample size was only 3, but I think DR girls are skilled at BJ's compared to girls from other countries. Nice!

-there are some scary teenage boys that beg aggressively, and hang out in front of bars hasseling gringos.

-girls never talked about rate for all night, just an hour. I would be scared to have them there all night due to drama/

Theft etc.

-many families and gringo girls are there, but stay in all inclusive places usually.

-most mongers are either older white guys, or young hip hopper black guys. There is definately a hip-hop feel to the main.

Bars: Rumbas and D-latins. Many girls have the right look for them: big asses etc.

-the weekends are alot rowdier: more people, louder, more drama.

-the generic viagra etc from the pharmacy were fine, and worked! Shop around as prices often vary.

-the town is very walkable, and it is not far to go to the beach etc.

-I saw a few gringo girls who looked like they were dating the local guys. Some of them were pretty enough to where I

Would have dated them. But what is good for the goose is.

-the beach is good, and there is some coral to snorkel. There are many vendors, asking you to buy.

-the beach has a long row of shops / restaurants. There are girls up there to meet etc. There are none down near the chairs

And water. Sit at a table near the shops and make eyes at girls and you can meet them there during the day.

-POP airport is quick and easy, and is 15 minutes from sosua.

-guys talk about 'call girls' who have regulars, and don't need to go to the bars. I saw them riding around on motoconchos.

And they seemed pretty. I came to suspect the girls in the bars either arent attactive enough, or don't have businesss skills.

Good enough to have repeat business, or just have the look the hip-hopper tourists like but arent to be there long enough.

To provide repeat business.

-It seems hard to meet local, non-pro girls for sex. There was a Cute waitress that I liked, but didn't want to embarrass.

Me / her by asking her out. She has to know it is for sex as I am to be there for only a few nights.

-seems like many old timer mongers sit in bars / restaurants across from Rumbas / D'Latins as those bars are too loud / rowdy.

-the locals like to shake hands, so bring hand sanitizer to stay healthy.

-Casa Valeria (next to new garden hotel) has a good $5/200p breakfast.

-the cooking oil used throughout the town seems very unhealthy. If you have high cholesterol, don't eat the French

Fries etc.

-the begging / salesmen is extreme. Be ready to say 'no' 50x's per day on average.

-the time there is a lot funnier if you go out and look to make friends etc with other mongers / bar owners / local girls etc and.

See where that takes you. The bar girls are a sure thing, and it is not fun to pursue them. Befriend the local non-pro.

Girls and see where that gets you. Might get you laid with a non-pro that is to seem much more like a 'conquest gone-right'.

There is a fair amount of conspicuous consumption in Sosua. As far as the gay thing, what people do is their own business. That being said, Sosua has become more of a bottom feeder monger destination for SIMPS, manginas, captain save-a-hoes, muscle heads walking around in wife beaters who speak no Spanish and know nothing about the culture, CD zombies from Costa Rica, etc. so I expect to increasingly see more unappealing stuff whenever I go there. LOL

I remember mentioning something similar about the phone situation a year ago. There is a fair amount of conspicuous consumption in SosuaThe chica I was with a month a go asked me about my Note 3 phone and said she had to have one. Really? You live in a tiny room (not even an apartment) why do you need the latest phone? Better to save the money so you can get the hell out of DR someday. Dominicans tend to think for the "now" and not the future. A smart chica would hoe it up from 18-21, avoid the pregnancy trap, save at least 30% of everything she made and hook a good American simp to move her to the states. A pricey phone won't help your situation when you're stuck in the third world.

Also there are waaay too many dudes now over paying and simping from abroad. These girls shouldn't have 2013 phones. LOL

• I saw some chicas with the new Samsung Galaxy Note and I was like "WTF you doing with that damn phone?"Could be a copy, which goes for a fraction of the price, and not the original Note. The only way you are able to tell the difference between a lot of them here in Asia is to check the internals. What costs all of the money on those type of electronics is the processor. Copies are made with shitty processors which brings the price down a hell of a lot. Not to mention the fakies don't have the advertising costs rolled into the price like the real companies have. You can get a tablet here for $50. It won't be a real Galaxy Tab, but how many lay users would even know the difference with the case saying Galaxy Tab and all? It's the same with those off name motorbikes that they have in the DR.

The chica I was with a month a go asked me about my Note 3 phone and said she had to have one. Really? You live in a tiny room (not even an apartment) why do you need the latest phone? Better to save the money so you can get the hell out of DR someday. Dominicans tend to think for the "now" and not the future. Also there are waaay too many dudes now over paying and simping from abroad. These girls shouldn't have 2013 phones. LOLWhenever women from less fortunate countries mention wanting these high tech gadgets I ask them if they have a business to run and how much money they are going to be able to make by using that particular device. I also ask them what they plan on doing with it that they can't do with the device they already have. Save money though MB? And 30% at that? These hookers are not living off the fat of the land. They do not have a guaranteed income to be able to do something like that. Just because you go down and give them $50, well you have to understand that they are getting those $50 few and far in between and not just when they feel like having it. As you have read on here many times, DR is a buyers' market. There are too few pesos to go around to far too many hookers.

I have been trying to learn Spanish to build my communicate when I return to the DR. I understand in different Spanish countries the dialect and ways of pronouncing words change.

Which is more appropriate in conversational DR Spanish? Do you speak English= Sabes Ingles or habla usted Ingles. I am here= Yo estoy aqui or Estoy aqui. The Prospanish on youtube I have been learn from never uses the word Yo. Is that diferente to Dominican Spanish. Is the word decir "to say" pronounced dether or decir. I just want to talk the normal conversational DR Spanish.

It is really true they are poor. It does not matter to me if they have other boyfriends. It is impossible to track them unless you live with them 24-7.

The term " I lost my phone " is not really true. They are not stupid enough to loose an expensive phone. Usually given to her friend or most likely pawned or sold.

The cheapest phone I have ever bought in the DR was a small palm-sized Acatel for about 700-800 pesos at the Orange store. Could have been less than that, but I don't remember. All I needed was something that could receive and place calls.

You guys brining them Blackberries and iPhones are just spoiling them. Has nothing to do with her being too poor to afford a phone. The only thing true about that statement is that she cannot afford the iPhone or Blackberry that her amigas got from their gringo bobos, lmao!

It's the same way when dealing with your kids when they "need" new shoes. Do they want the cheap "but one, get one free" pair from Payless? Or the Air Jordan's?

Do you guys have any strategies for getting chicas to take nude pics / video?

German FKK normally charge 50 euros (2900 pesos) for half an hour session, and sometimes they have half price specials.

No GFE though, but biggest FKKs have great ethnic variety.

+1.

This is correct. He asked if it was decir or dethir. Which is the Spanish pronunciation with the lisp. Hence I said its decir because he isn't in Spain. You don't have to stick on the yo or the tu or the Ud. Because you have already conjugated the verb. You can do it, but its not necessary.

I have brought two friends brand new iPhones while in DR as Christmas presents. Both working girls who I have great understandings and funny as hell relationships with. In purchasing them, it was in knowing that not only was I providing telephone but broadband access for them. Both have data and voice plans they pay monthly. Well we pay it. One tricks out of both pants legs with it and the other Facebooks any and everything.

Point is. As in most low income situations, the phone is simply not a phone its a laptop proxy as well. A cell phone maybe at times more important than the minor inconvenience of no electricity for day or two.

He asked if it was decir or dethir. Which is the Spanish pronunciation with the lisp. Hence I said its decir because he isn't in Spain. You don't have to stick on the yo or the tu or the Ud. Because you have already conjugated the verb. You can do it, but its not necessary. When David says Spanish, he doesn't mean the language, he means the location. If you are ever in Spain you will hear Barcelona pronounced as Barthelona, the same as GrownMan is asking about pronouncing decir as dethir. One reason why if you are studying the language to choose your lessons in Latin American Spanish and not Spain Spanish. The same holds true for Portuguese from Portugal or Brazil or English from England or America. There are many differences among each set.

Verb conjugation is a whole other animal. I think most monger guys trying to "home learn" these different languages do not understand this because many times I will hear guys using the first person singular present indicative form of the verb for anything and not just for the first person singular present indicative. This will make them sound as such: I am, You am, He/She/It am, We am, You (plural) am. You can see how ridiculous this is by the English example. Well it is the same ridiculous when guys are trying to speak Spanish without proper conjugation of the verb. This is by far what gives students of foreign languages the most trouble. (One easy thing about learning Thai is that verbs don't have to be conjugated.)

When people are trying to learn a language I suggest buying a used first year high school or college textbook from Amazon, buying a big dictionary, buying a copy of 501 verbs along with any audio lessons they can get their hands on.

One easy thing about learning Thai is that verbs don't have to be conjugated.Same for Haitian Kreyòl. Also no gender, singular / plural, no irregularities or exceptions, only one way to pronounce each letter, and many other simplifications.

The downside is that the language is too basic to translate Shakespeare's sonnet with any subtlety, but that is not a common aim of mongers.

I hate these phones anyway, these girls are pasted to these phones. If I'm with a girl and she is always on the phone, I ask to see her phone and shut it off. When I get complaints, I tell them I'm paying for your time, leave the phone off or leave.

in all due respect to cubadave he was making himself obvious. one needs to keep low key about these things. i am sure he was quite helpful to many mongers, and his efforts are appreciated but with a facebook page, videos on youtube, and what not, he will eventually be getting the wrong type of attention (by the look of things, the wrong attention has already finally found him). the newspaper article only makes him more of a target. something tells me that this might not be the end of it for him. frankly, i am quite surprised that it took so long.

as for peter he will be fighting this for years. he is a non dominican, with some money, so this will work to his disadvantage. peter was sticking out like a sore thumb (glass floors, an elevator, lights all about, swimming pool, a menu of services [i had to laugh at this one. i just loved it]). everytime i went to passions i was wondering how peter got all this money and manpower to build up the place (did a great job). it is kinda hard for the authorities to look the other way when it came to passions. like cubadave. we all like these sore thumbs but the government thinks otherwise. with peter, by the look of things, it is not a simple open, close, open situation. i hope it works for the best.

the pimping stuff is tricky. what does that say about blackbeards, or even field of dreams. even if both hotels claim the chicas do not work for them still the fact that the chicas are allowed to ply their trade there, and management will act on behalf of the monger in dealing with misunderstandings, does make it look like pimping.

hey, if i want a chica who likes anal or can deepthroat i just ask the blackbeards staff and they will whip out the book, have a picture of the chica, what she does in bed, and her contact number (i just love it). i go to hand it to blackbeards. many places come and go but blackbeards has so far avoided any major complications.
all this reminds me of the guy who appeared on a talk show host and admitted that when he married it was with an **** girl (it was part of his religious beliefs). he added, at the very end, that if anyone had a problem with it they could come and get him. well, the state authorities came and got him. if i recall correctly he received at least five years in prison (he would have gotten more but his bride testified on his behalf and said that she was not traumatized by him or by the early marriage.!)

guys, with all the attention john gotti was getting, at the very end even the teflon don got velcroed! the moral of the story is not to get velcroed. we cannot do much for how people run their businesses but as mongers we can use discretion and keep a low profile.

How much a cruise tourist will spends a night vs how much a monger spends a night in Sosua, and how many nights a cruse tourist stays in Sosua vs how many nights a monger stays in Sosua?

The point is, although the cruse tourist spend less, but the money will go to the government, while a monger spend much more and the money will go to the people of Sosua and not the Government.

The result is, better conditions for mongering with different rule of engagements, just like Cuba.

They never had a video game, a camera, a computer, a movie player, an iPod, and the phone does all of these things. A lot of them didn't even have a tv growing up. On the practical side being an advanced western union chica used to mean hanging out in a hot Internet cafe. Now a phone lets you have email, a Facebook presence, and get on Dominican Cupid or any of the dating sites. A smart phone pretty much is the difference between a a barefoot campo chica and a a western union diva. Even without minutes a smartphone can be used at wifi hotspots.

In all my trips out of the country (even from DR) , this was the first time they actually went through my luggage. It's nice to see the TSA has better things to do instead of catching terrorists.

Stuff was falling out of my bags, the TSA guy asked me to sign a paper saying all my money had been returned to me. I replied, I have no idea if all my money is still here. He said, then count it. Meanwhile flt officials and other TSA agents are screaming at me to get on the plane.

They saw gifts in the bag for a girl I know. Screamed "where did you meet? Do you give her money? What's her number, e mail? That day was pure hell.

Now you can have your hard drive in the cloud, upload all your pictures & video to the net then delete them from the hard drive.

Its harder for the gov to get access to your storage space on a server somewhere in Russia or Burkina Faso than to check your laptop.Great point. It is the way to go. Sync up your stuff and do not worry about TSA.

Since you did not break any laws, were you obligated to answer the questions? What were your responses? Were you just as aggressive or did you play it calm and cool?

For the lawyers on the board. Can you just tell them "I haven't committed any crimes and I do not wish to answer any of your questions. It is not against the law to have condoms or VS underwear in my luggage! Unless, I am under arrest, I would like to end this interview and proceed to my plane."

I have never been thru a secondary screening process like this. I would imagine that initially I would be very scared, but once I remembered that I didn't break any American laws, it would be a struggle to keep my temper under control. I would probably start getting just as aggressive as the TSA agents were getting with me.

Cops hate when you do that too, it only makes them want to mess with you more. Getting aggressive is also a no no.

I'd say the best bet is to stay calm and answer each question simply and avoid showing any attitude or frustration. I got held up in Canada a few years back and when I asked the agent if he had permission within the law to go through my personal emails he snapped at me "I'M DOING IT AREN'T IT?"

TSA guys are assholes, just don't give them anything to work with and get through it as quickly as possible. Asking about the reason for your detention is pointless since right or wrong they're already doing it.

My understanding is that it is OK if the clients are paying the girl directly, but the situation at Passion's was that the money was paid direct to the house, deductions made for whatever the girl owed the house, perhaps for board and lodging, uniforms, laundry, and then the house paid out to the girl weekly, and that the girls could be fined if they refused to go out with a customer. I would imagine that this model is not allowed for prostitution and comes under the heading of pandering. Fining someone for not going with a customer looks a lot like coerced prostitution, and I suspect this model of prostitution runs into problems with DR laws re pandering and pimping. The menu of prices makes it look like the prices for sex are set by the house, rather than negotiated individually by the girls, and this might also be an issue.

in all due respect to cubadave he was making himself obvious. one needs to keep low key about these things. i am sure he was quite helpful to many mongers, and his efforts are appreciated but with a facebook page, videos on youtube, and what not, he will eventually be getting the wrong type of attention (by the look of things, the wrong attention has already finally found him). the newspaper article only makes him more of a target. something tells me that this might not be the end of it for him. frankly, i am quite surprised that it took so long.

as for peter he will be fighting this for years. he is a non dominican, with some money, so this will work to his disadvantage. peter was sticking out like a sore thumb (glass floors, an elevator, lights all about, swimming pool, a menu of services [i had to laugh at this one. i just loved it]). everytime i went to passions i was wondering how peter got all this money and manpower to build up the place (did a great job). it is kinda hard for the authorities to look the other way when it came to passions. like cubadave. we all like these sore thumbs but the government thinks otherwise. with peter, by the look of things, it is not a simple open, close, open situation. i hope it works for the best.

all this reminds me of the guy who appeared on a talk show host and admitted that when he married it was with an **** girl (it was part of his religious beliefs). he added, at the very end, that if anyone had a problem with it they could come and get him. well, the state authorities came and got him. if i recall correctly he received at least five years in prison (he would have gotten more but his bride testified on his behalf and said that she was not traumatized by him or by the early marriage!)

guys, with all the attention john gotti was getting, at the very end even the teflon don got velcroed! the moral of the story is not to get velcroed. we cannot do much for how people run their businesses but as mongers we can use discretion and keep a low profile.very good point and example. my boys want us to open a brothel in boca chica! i tell them we will be fools. the business will have the life expectancy of a snowman in miami. i best to be low key outside the country. i know those casas were paying officials but that still didn't stop the gauntlet! not being a dominican is a recipe for disaster for us. with cuba daves reputation and facebook following he will get a good lawyer pro bono."the more money we get. we more money we're taking from other people"

I'm assuming that this happened because the TSA discovered things that were in your carry on luggage versus your checked luggage? No, (if you read my post, I stated it happened past the boarding gate- where they bug you about the amount of money you are bringing ). I am 62 yrs old (look closer to 82) and am extremely low key. When, I stopped responding to questions (because I only have one functioning vocal cord. The one aggressive young prick said " if You don't care to talk, I don't care if you miss your flight. I had my bank withdrawal slip indicating how much and what denominations. The money was separated accordingly. He threw it all over the table. That was only a pretext (this was purely harassment. They commented about the number of times that I had been to the DR. Based on stamps in my passport.) they wanted to know why I went there, who I talked to or what I did and with whom and the phone numbers of those individuals I associated with and e mail addresses)

It's nice to see the TSA has better things to do instead of catching terrorists. It is not TSA's duty to catch terrorists. It is TSA's duty to search luggage and people. They don't ask questions. If you have something that you shouldn't then they take it from you. There is no asking, "What are you doing with this?" They have to call law enforcement for anything further than, "You are not allowed to bring xyz sir." Why the hell they decided to give TSA agents a badge is beyond me. They are not law enforcement officers and can not carry weapons. Does anybody remember airline security before 2001? Well these are the same people, but with different uniforms. There are no special qualifications other than a high school diploma and passing a background check.

TSA uses a risk-based strategy and works closely with transportation, law enforcement and intelligence communities to set the standard for excellence in transportation security." http://www.tsa.gov/about-tsa

Two months ago, when returning from DR. I was sent back for a search when I was in customs at Miami Airport. In all my trips out of the country (even from DR) , this was the first time they actually went through my luggage. The guy was cool but he looked through every photo on my camera and said one of the things they were looking for was child porn. Mabey this would explain the rash of harassment. When he saw all the photos of me and Eva naked, he just smiled and said " yea, she's got to be over 18"This is a more plausible story. After a quick search, "a cool guy" realizing there was no drugs and no child porn allowed Ready Ru to go on his way with all his belongings.

Being questioned for going to a country to have sex with girls? This is what our tax dollars are being wasted on? Man some people (TSA) must be incredibly bored these days.

No one knows the real reason why anyone is going anywhere. Doesn't matter if it's DR, France, England, Turkey, India, Thailand, Australia etc. It's ridiculous if people are being profiled because they like to visit a certain country. The DR has beaches, is fairly cheap to travel to and enjoy a weekend vacation on, there's a lot to do. It's a developing country and some companies have business over there. A single man that travels to Puerto Plata or Santo Domingo could be traveling just for business a couple times a month. There is nothing wrong with this.

Sometimes I don't know if these stories are believable, I guess it serves for a good read at least. Safe mongering everyone.

Comming into miami one time last year from dr a cutoms dog came up to me and my friend and statered sniffing. The agent askerd if we were smoking weed on the trip, we said yeah and ge pointed us to get our bags checked. When we got there the agent already knew why we where getting checked and he asked if we were smoking weed. We both said yeah and another agent went to check my friends bags. I had two big luggages and a backpack. I opned my first luggae and the agent looked at it and said alright see you later. My friend who is right next to me getting checked gets fucked. He comes out of customs 20 min later and told me they went through all his shit, his shoes, everything and gave him the third degree. Pretty funny to me cause we weree standing about two feet apart getting checked right before I got let go LOL

Customs has the authority to treat you like a criminal. If it makes you feel any better, champ, I've had a problem or two with the Miami Airport. Several years ago, while transferring to a connecting flight to DR, I was waiting for my luggage to be searched and moved to the wrong table (I do not know how it is now but back then Miami needed to work on having clearly displayed signs). Well, some supervisor approached me and he was probably the nastiest airport employee I've ever encountered. The guy was so busy focusing on being nasty that at the very end he didn't bother to check my luggage. It is fortunate that I did not argue with him since my friend copied on DVD a sex tape of a well known Spanish news reporter, which I had in the luggage. I also had cigar rings and two boxes, indicating Cohiba on them. (I did not have the cigars since my friend took them to PR. When I got home I just mailed the rings and boxes to him so he could put the pieces together. Since Cohibas are illegal in the States my friend needed a way to beat the system).

After this, when I later submitted my luggage to be placed on the conveyor belt, workers were giving me wrong instructions, and some even refused to talk to me when I tried to get their attention to pull my luggage the belt so I could remove the shoulder strap (if I didn't do this the package handlers would have taken the strap off and discarded it [these straps sometimes tie up and jam the conveyor belt]).

When I finally returned from my trip and did some research, at the time in question Miami Airport was the worst airport in this country, based on customer complaints.

I didn't want to say anything on is because things change. I worked law enforcement for 7 years. Security for the state. I even was offered a job as a TSA supervisor back in 2003. I understand Customs and TSA jobs. I have never seen or heard (besides to day) of TSA checking for anytime besides metals, liquids, passport, ticket and sharp objects. I ever seen them working anywhere beyond boarding the airport gates entry. They don't have arresting powers or the power to question you about were you are going! Customs is a different story! I have missed my plane twice because of them. Hell no the plane doesn't wait on you! Not 5 minutes let along 40+. They will not charge you extra if you miss your flight and you tell them (AA. Delta. Etc) you were held by customs. I am not saying bullshit, but its like telling me you met Eve at CMP's and she gave you pussy on the house.

My personal take for me on this discussion is that I believe there is a lot of sensitivity on drugs coming in through the DR. Not to long ago coming back into new york when we got off the plane all of us were lined up and had around 10 customs agents stand there as they had a dog walk back and forth before we even got processed through customs. That is the first time I ever had that happen to me and tells me customs must be seeing a lot of drugs coming through the DR. Actually, if you read all the reports the DR is becoming a huge drug shipment point for cocaine. Again, I always like to observe everything and if you look at uptown new york (Washington Heights) brand new nightclubs are opening up everywhere and real estate development is exploding uptown. Again some of this is due to improving conditions in the real estate market in new york, but a lot has to do with a lot of drug money being laundered through nightclubs and other businesses. The area is booming uptown new york and you always have to ask why that is because other areas are not as hot as that area.

Customs has the authority to treat you like a criminal.Everyone on here should be very clear that Customs agents have a tremendous amount of power and can do just about anything they think is necessary to guard our country from whatever Congress decides we need to be guarded against. They can take everything you have apart, and they don't have to put it back together for you. They can break your stuff, and they don't have to pay for it. You never want to [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) off a customs agent. The appropriate response to any of their questions and comments is to remain calm and be polite. You can't win any fight with them!

BTW, if you aren't smuggling, why even sweat the load? Take it easy on these people because they have a shitty, thankless job, and everyone they meet either fears them, hates them, or both. What kind of life is that? So if you show a little courtesy, they might even reciprocate.

I have been held up a couple of times over the years, and don't appreciate the probing questions any more than anyone else. But it is not that hard to figure out what the agents are trying to do. They want to get a reaction because even if they aren't experts in reading emotional responses, there are always special agents either in the vicinity or watching remotely to see if you exhibit telltale behaviors. Every day that goes by refines the capabilities of these police agencies. As we sheep pass through the lines, they are looking for the goats. Don't act like a goat, and you will probably get through with less trouble.

One of the basic security techniques is always going to be a random shot against some person coming in. If you travel a lot, your chances of getting to be the randomly selected victim goes up. So even though it is natural to think that you are being picked on, that isn't necessarily true. If you get lucky, you are going to get the third degree no matter how innocent you are. If it happens every time you enter the country, then you probably need to take some kind of action, like hiring a lawyer and finding out why you are on the sh_tlist.

As pointed out by others, TSA is a whole 'nother ballgame. You can get yourself all worked up about how screwed up the whole process is, but at the end of the day, you have to give the whole mess to Congress. Why take out your frustrations on the poor saps on the front line? My experience with TSA has been 100% friendly, and I travel a lot. I guess that's because I always treat them like fellow human beings with a crummy job they have to do to pay the bills. Anyone who has ever worked retail knows exactly how 99% of the people are really quite nice, but that 1% of arrogant, mean-spirited, as_holes can really set you down the wrong attitude road. And of course, the next person, innocent and naïve, often is the one who gets the reaction, even if you are trying to get back into the positive zone. But if that next person is uptight, pushy, condescending, etc, etc, then it starts to accumulate, and anyone will eventually just lose it, or start to dish it out. So instead of upping the ante, ratchet it back down by showing some consideration. You might be pleasantly surprised and feel all warm and fuzzy instead of getting all bent out of shape.

My personal take for me on this discussion is that I believe there is a lot of sensitivity on drugs.

The DR isn't becoming a drug spot? It has always been a drug spot. It is so easy for ships to dock on that island. If drugs are being transported by sea it goes to DR, then PR, then Florida. When I used to go to PR, ages ago, it was a hassle just getting through security, because of the drug issue. (PR eventually had a bigger problem-fake birth certificates. Because of this they had to revamp the authenticity of certificates [40% of all false USA passports were based on fake birth certificates from Puerto Rico]). If you were Dominican all you had to do is make it to Puerto Rico (paying someone to illegally dock on the island, or to illegally take the ferry from DR to PR [not all Puerto Ricans who visit the DR come by plane. Some take the ferry back and forth, directly from Puerto Rico.)

What people would do is get a fake birth certificate, follow this up with other fake I'd, get a passport (if need be) , and enter the country. If you were a drug dealer from the DR this is the route to go. After 2010 this is much harder to do. Also, anyone who knows anything about PR can see that drugs are rampant on the island.

I recall the last time I was in Santo Domingo, years ago. Me and a chica crossed the bridge to Calle Valenzuela. This was a Tuesday night and the entire strip was empty, except for the club "Side. ' It was packed. When I looked at the prices of some of the items (anything from snatching a chica, to the cost of drinks) I mentioned to my chica that things were so expensive that only a drug dealer could afford these prices. She responded "what do you think these guys are?" We were surrounded by Dominican Drug posses, from Washington Heights!

When I was in Boca Chica a group of guys from Philly were being shown some of the casas by a Dominican guy. This guy spoke what I would call megaslang English (the slang you hear in the streets, Multiply it by 100). This guy was trying to over hustle. I even mentioned to the group that this guy had alot of game. He had too much game (it was actually quite comical). He was a Dominican who made it to the States, lived in Washington Heights, and was deported (most probably for drugs). When I used to hear of Dominican drug gangs getting arrested, they would usually have a couple of illegals, who would get deported, only to show up in the States several months later (get themselves arrested again, with the cops saying "hey, didn't we go through this before with you?).

This reminds me of my cousin, who was incarcerated at Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan (for, out of all things, climbing the crown of the Statue of Liberty!). Well, my cousin is PR and the correction officers hooked up his group with a Russian gang, expecting both groups to fight. Even though they barely understood each other the groups got along just fine. What little my cousin could comprehend he said that the Russians admitted to being innocent of any crimes. I added that they were in there for drugs. He was surprised, since this was the charges against them and wondered how I knew. An interesting population entering the DR are the Russians. You will even see an occasional devushka around (some of their casas charge a fortune.) The Russians who live and travel there, regularly, do so for three reasons:drugs, money laundering, and prostitution. Sometimes you might confuse them for regular tourists but their not. Also, they usually do not hang around the tourist areas.

I was talking to a buddy of mine. He was gambling at the casino in Sosua. About 4:00 AM in the morning (the place was closing up) a drunk Russian starts knocking on the doors. The casino recognized him as a regular, and let the guy in. The Russian spent a fortune (I would tell you the sum but I do not believe it, even though it came from a reliable source). I guess this is why the owner let him in, knowing the house would make a fortune. The Russian lived on the island. I can only imagine what he did to earn this money.

The most intense drug bust I've ever heard was in Washington Heights, many years ago. The NYPD was staking out the area of 156th St, and St Nicholas. After over a year and a half they descended on the place. They closed off the streets, had helicopters and police cars swarm the area, jammed all radio signals, and the first thing they took out was the apartment that served as a communication center for the drug dealers in the neighborhood. Arrested alot of people that night.

What used to happen in the Heights was that many restaurants and bodegas would have difficulty getting the money for all the licenses needed to open up their places (food licenses, liquor licenses, meet Fire Department regulations, etc) so a gun or drug dealer was willing to lend the money on the condition of using some of the business space to store weapons, or drugs. (the tricky part was that after a while it became difficult getting these guys out.

One restaurant ponied up the money by having a numbers guy in the bag room, paying rent. The guy was there for years. The neighborhood loved him. Caused no trouble whatsoever. After a while these Dominican places became more creative. They would have hidden slot machines, in a back room. They would sell penicillin, viagra, and shots of mamajuana (eventhough they do not have the liquor license to do so. Just thinking about it, I do not know if it is even legal to sell home made mamajuana?).

One time I was looking for an apartment in the Heights. One guy showed me a place and practically all the sheet rock was removed. There were only slats and studs. The guy was evasive about what happened. I asked my buddy about it and he explained that the police must have come to the place, looking for drugs, and tore the walls down. Putting this and other pieces together the only thing the apartment was lacking was the chalk outline of a dead body.

I eventually lived in Washington Heights for man years and drugs were a common part of the landscape. If you did not bother the drug dealer they would not bother you. When I first moved in, about two months later, a drug gang approached my landlord to inquire about me. He explained that I worked for the government but that I minded my own business. I was not going to bother them. They left me alone. The drug dealers were actually quite courteous whenever I passed by.

The Heights has some decent people but also alot of drugs.

Everyone on here should be very clear that Customs agents have a tremendous amount of power and can do just about anything they think is necessary to guard our country from whatever Congress decides we need to be guarded against.

If it happens every time you enter the country, then you probably need to take some kind of action...El Lobo Solo, good info, but. I am on a plane with 175 people on it and they pull out 3 African-American, they did not know my name, I was just exiting the plane. I am not a drug smuggler, I am a BMW (Black Man Working). If you are going to pull me out, pull everyone out and check them. The problem with this country is racism starts with the government and trickles down to all law enforcement agencies. We can move on, I have been going to D. R. 4 times a year for the last 12 years, and I have a blast with all the women, so not even Customs agents can spoil my joy.

Thanks for your input.

Pretty funny to me cause we weree standing about two feet apart getting checked right before I got let go LOLThey could have made you miss your plane if they wanted to
