The cost of flying is minimum 4 times higher and flight time is also minimum 4 times longer as compared to DR. I have a regular job and limited vacation time. The sad part is that some of the visitors to Sosua never got the chance to visit Sosua pre 2009. I met my GF years ago in a different Sosua. You could never use the word "innocent" to ever descibe Sosua, but SW aside, there was a naivety of attitude, and a fun sense that anything is possible, and a lot more emphasis on relationships and getting to know the other person.

The ambience of Sosua is much more pleasant than SD. Sosua has a relaxed vacation atmosphere, good value for money hotels within mere minutes walk from a great beach. Also there is easy access to other tourist activities besides seabathing. The chicas are at arms length in Sosua whereas in SD you will more than likely require a taxi to get to them. In Sosua it is very easy to hook up with fellow Americans and trade stories. Having mongered throughout the world in places such as India and Trinidad, Santo Domingo is a piece of cake for me but for the average American it would not be enjoyable. Hot and polluted with maddening traffic and very noisy. SD motorists love blaring their car horns. One has to be very careful walking the streets as the drivers have no concern for pedrestrians. People say.For a normal tourist monger big cities like Rio, Medellin, Bogota, Santo Domingo are more dangerous than a little town like Sosua.
In big cities you are dependent of untrustworthy taxi drivers and have to know very good which places in the city are a "no go zone" for you, in some places you go better during the day only.

Sosua is next stop about 30 minutes more. Buses are good and there is a bus every hour between 6 AM and 7 PM. I stay in Santo Domingo one night before my flight back just in case if there is a problem with bus and I don't want to take a chance.

I think they use it to park the buses as there is no room in Los Charamicos. Maybe they have service facilities there.
It might make sense to make it into a public stop but only of they provided a free or cheap shuttle from the airport and El Batey that met departures and arrivals. And that might start all sorts of contractual wars with Metro and the transport unions.
I have mentioned this many times in my posts in this forum: the last time I was in Sosua back in May 2012 I was hanging around Merengue Bar (which is downstair from Classicos) and I noticed that all the very hot chicas did not walk the strip to get to Classicos: they took a motochoncho right up to the entrance. You did not see any of these chicas trolling around Sosua during the day. As my man GrownMan says: these "hotties" were looking for the big payout. Not these 1000,1500, 2000 quick tricks here and there. I really couldn't understand him well and I'm assuming that the signage was not something initiated by the owner. For the past three years I've made 6 -8 trips per year to Sosua. I certainly don't claim to be an expert. However, I've noticed many of them get harden quick! Some of the chicas I had good times with in the past I wouldn't take now. I guess in part it's because most guys there are sport f*rs. But I suspect peer pressure plays a part. The girls pass ALOT of info about guys, especially regular guys. I suspect some of the chicas advise others on what is and isn't acceptable. A few chica s I know are as fun and GFE as they always were. But I consider them the exception to the rule. Mi dos centavos.
I have always had a somewhat crazy pre-trip routine, but it has always worked for me. First, let me say that some of you guys are nasty. Wearing the same shorts for a 5 day vacation or not giving a fuck about shaving and showering for a few days LOL. Do a minimum of 30 minutes cardio pre trip for a few days, it seems to strengthen my groin area. Also do basics if you don't like weights like push-ups and pull-ups. When I'm on vacation the last thing I need is to get sick so I usually eat at places that have a positive history. If it's some place new I usually look for cleanliness. The following are my observations regarding the difference between Sosua prior to 2008 and present:
(1) In the past it was much easier to pick up chicas during the day on the streets. Back then I used to make week long trips to Sosua and some trips I would not enter a club for my entire trip. All my chicas were chosen from the buffet on the streets and I used to have a wide choice and be very picky.
(2) In my trip in May this year and my recently concluded trip I saw not one hot Haitian. Back in the day they were a major part of the menu on the streets.
(3) Prior to 2008 "leche papi" was not in their vocabulary, at least I never heard it. The major problem for me back then were the star fishes but they never tried to short time me.
(4) Back then in Classicos there were non pro non Dominicanas who were available. I never had any but I know they were available.
I had several good sessions this trip and one bad. Overall a good trip.

Question about Casa Valeria. I have always stayed at Terra Linda as I like the pool and proximity. The big downside is the fact that you can not have 2 guests in the room at one time.

I guess I was assuming all along that GFEs were off the table, so the fast that it once existed or might still be possible with lots of looking around is at least a positive sign. Thailand and especially Bangkok have gotten much harder in recent years. OR you could get a taxi to an economical cabana (there are several near to the airport), then arrange with your taxi driver to pick you up later and take you to the bus station. I would do this, because you really don't particularly want to arrive in Sosua too early in the morning anyway, so you might as well get some rest.
OR you could get a taxi to take you from the airport right to Sosua, but again the problem is that you arrive way too early and spend more money.
You can get money from the Banco Popular ATM on the outside of the airport concourse to your right as you exit.
To go back, I would get the last bus out of Sosua to Santiago (cheap) and then stay at a cabana for a few hours, and get your taxi to pick you up to go to the airport at around 2:15 am You could also find a taxi to take you from Sosua that you will prenegotiate in advance. Either way it looks like you will end up paying for a hotel in Sosua for an extra day.
Question about Casa Valeria. I have always stayed at Terra Linda as I like the pool and proximity. The big downside is the fact that you can not have 2 guests in the room at one time.
Not a big happy hour fan, I think it just get's too complicated but occasionally there is a time and place and I would like the option. A girl I will be seeing down there said she liked Casa Valeria better than Terra Linda and I should stay there.
In any event, does anyone know if Casa Valeria allows multiple guests at one time? I have walked by the hotel countless times but can only see the restaurant from the street. It got really good reports on Trip Advisor. Any other info. Good or bad on this Hotel would be appreciated.

Airport to Sosua is about $80 so you still save including your return taxi trip. I landed in STI many times and it is always that gawd awful hour and at times, the flight is also delayed so sticking around until morning at the airport is a good idea. Once the light is out, grab a cab to the bus station and then the bus to Sosua to save money ($30 or so, all told) or a cab direct -whatever pleases you.

I booked a room there today for $60 a night via Hotels.com which was $20 a night less than the Hotel quoted me directly when I called them. Bummer about the one guest at a time. Suppose if there is a will there is a way and of course there is always Dulce Secreto if needed. Anyway, was getting a little tired of Terra Linda, maybe next time I will try Casa Cayena.

Jose the maintenance man will gladly make sure all the shutters are shut if open in your room. I like taking a siesta in the late afternoon, but it was impossible due to the cleaning staff chattering outside plus the noise from the washing machine.
Also, the bathroom didn't have a window, just an open hole behind the toilet out to where the cleaners were hanging up laundry. Several times when I was taking a leak in my bathroom, all of a sudden I was staring at a cleaner a few feet away. Not pleasant.
Apart from that, it's a decent hotel with very friendly staff and a good free breakfast.

Anyone want to wade into this discussion?In more than ten years around the Sosua scene, I have always had at least one relationship going on that had "normal" sex, that is sex without a condom, on an ongoing basis, and occasionally I deviated with casual partners. I have never caught anything.
The most serious risk is of HIV, however that is rarely transmitted from female to male by vaginal intercourse and you can buy over-the-counter testing kits if you want.
Also incurable is herpes, which is the condition people are often thinking about when they ask if you have any diseases.
There are also a number of blood and or semen transmitted conditions such as gonorrhea, syphilis, urethritis, genital warts, hepatitis be, hepatitis see, pregnancy that one want to avoid. It is also possible to catch colds or flu from close bodily contact, not to mention parasites like scabies, pubic lice, etc. In the DR you are also somewhat at risk from mosquito born infections like chikungunga fever and dengue, as well as water born infections like giardiasis which is very common.
HOWEVER, if you want to be as safe as possible, using condoms will greatly reduce the risk of catching anything from a puta and I would not discourage anyone who wants to use condoms from doing so, including chicas. If they insist on using a condom, they are making a responsible decision and this should be respected.
If you don't like condoms for sex, and I don't, then bareback oral sex or hand jobs may offer a safer alternative under certain circumstances.
If you really have to have bareback sex, it is definitely best to have an ongoing relationship with a woman who is not having bareback sex with anyone else, and who is taking the pill. Of course this will cost you more money one way or another in the long run than the casual 1000 peso pick up on the street.

In a hot country like that, even without getting to the beach, I need two showers a day. Morning and night and so I was surprised that Gogo has to remind guys about hygiene to attract women. I personally do not shave my body hair (except face of course) and I like women that way as well and I have never been rebuffed by any woman anywhere. On the contrary, women whether in Germany, at home or anywhere else have told me that I smell good as they snuggle more but then I always thought it was a no-brainer. The fact that Gogo has to remind about it in a forum, is what was scary.

First time here and maybe I have missed the golden age, but for what I am living this is frwggin paradis (live in CR, been to Thai, Rio and Medellin) but, every night, day, afternoon! You name it! Loads of pss& everywhere, and place is alive and kicking. Staying at Europa and not a little bit uncomfortable with staying here. Love this place (altought be aware that they do not let me get into the room with her I'd a nice Haitian puss. , I suspect, maybe wrong? , because tensions beetw. Dom-Hai migration sht. Who cares,! , I won't let that fck my vacation. For what I suspect some news about Sosua might have let visitors away, wich have might caused prices down, as girls-foreigners rate is so down, fisrt offer is 1500,and you can easily lower it. Clisante strip is alive and full of fresh pss. And food seafood prices are fantastic. I have eaten at elpatiofamiliarsosua and I recommend for laid back cheap great quality food. The beach is slow since not so many gringos as I have been told (those are appreciations from locals, as I told before I am new here, but for me as I read from more experienced posts, A Silla, brugal with pinneaple and ice for 400-500 (am I paying too much?) In the afternoon is great. Other info: I xchange at 44 today at westUn. So rate is good I feel my dollars last.

There's another very small claustrophobic room at the front which you should also avoid, which is seldom used except as an overflow when they are busy.

Camaro in Sosua Synopsis November 2014.
Gentleman I have just completed my most recent excursion throughout the Dominican Republic. This trip will include separate synopsis reports on Mao & La Romana. Although I made 2 day trips to Santiago I have nothing new to report there.
The aforementioned reports will include anecdotes and my observations of the conditions and activities on the ground of each of the locations. This trip includes 5 days in Sosua, 2 days in Mao, 2 days in La Romana and closes with 3 days in Sosua.
Below I have listed my notes for your review.
Ex Pat Mode.
Since I am retired and planning to live in the north coast, possibly Sosua I went into this trip with a different mentality about everything I would have to spend money on including toto. Everything looks different if you are an ex-pat as opposed to being a vacationer or week end warrior. For example if I am going to pay for toto in Sosua it will cost me wholesale not retail. Going forward I intend to spend what I would spend on a weeks' vacation in a month thereby cutting my cost significantly.
I plan to accomplish my goals by building relationships that are mutually beneficial, for example when things are slow for a favorita I will be glad to assist at far less than her retail vacationer price. Once I hit the ground full time I will have leverage that I intend on using going forward.
Hotel Europa.
I know this sounds crazy with Hotel Europa's reputation but I was considering it at a potential place to live in retirement because they advertise apartments for sale and for rent. The rooms are more like large studio apartments with a kitchenette, sitting area and king size bed. My understanding is that the rooms are different and I am looking for something more on the line of a one bedroom apartment sorta like Mary Rose or Sosua Suites.
My problem began with the German lady at the reception desk who kept giving me the run around about the rooms there size configurations and set up. She kept insisting all the rooms were the same when I know for a fact that is not true. The clean up staff does not come until late in the afternoon interrupting my siesta time. There is street noise and construction noise. My room and the other room I stayed in had a old worn out appearance. I feel like I am in the ghetto and this is not a place I would feel comfortable living.
On the bright side with the exception of the from desk staff the others are very friendly and cordial.
Garden Condos.
Garden Condos was a recommendation of Balcoach who knows the manager. I was able to get $35.00 per night for a 1 bed room apartment. Unfortunately they wanted $800.00 per month for long term stays which disqualified Garden Condos as a place to stay in retirement.
Garden Condos are set on beautiful grounds with a pool and handsome landscaping. During my stay there was no cleaning because the cleaning lady only comes 1 day a week. There was air conditioning only in the bedroom, the cable worked well with American channels. I was unable to check the WI FI due to my computer not working.
The condos were nice but IMHO not worth $800.00 per month.
Pedro Clisante update November 13,2014.
There have been a few changes on Pedro Clisante since my last trip, below I have listed my observations:
City Lights:
City Lights was dead as a door knob may last few trips and was officially closed with gates up and the whole 9 yards. This trip I found it to be lively and with great potential. It is set up as an open air bar similar to the'Latins with chairs and tables and a Big Screen TV showing the latest sports. There is a back room with a bar chairs and tables along with a dance floor and stripper pole.
Each time I went there was a very light crowd however it has the potential to bring a liltle something different to the other end of Pedro Clisante.
Bermuda Bar.
Bermuda Bar no longer has their window openings blocked just like Bar Central but seems to keep a small crowd despite being such a small venue.
Rumbas:
Rumbas is still the late afternoon early evening gathering spot but the talent pool during the week leaves much to be desired. The talent level depends on the day of the week, for example on Mondays it sucks but on Fridays it rocks.
The Premium Disco Bar:
The Premium Disco Bar had chairs on the sidewalk and there was very little of a crowd than my last trip and less security.
The Spot:
The Spot is closed the doors are locked and the Flat screen TV's that were on the walls have been taken down. Everything is boarded up.
The Winners Circle:
I saw a little crowd there each time I walked by but mostly people standing out front.
Bar Central.
Bar Central considered to be the Hatian Embassy because there are so many Hatians. Bar Central has taken a turn for the better as I witnesses much more traffic as well as the closed windows are now open giving the establishment an open air feel.
Merengue:
Merengue is my favorite spot in the late evening because of the friendly staff and light snack they serve wings sandwiches etc. The kitchen is closed on Mondays. I also like being able to watch the chica parade up to Classicos through the glass partitions. I enjoy the staff as they always treat me like family.
Classicos.
Classicos remains the crown of Sosua monger night life. I enjoy the night club atmosphere and air-conditioning. Sosua's best comes out but just like Rumbas the talent level varies based on the day of the week. They open at 11 pm and it is on and poppin by 1 am.
Mamajuana Cafe:
The Mamajuana Cafe is closed on Sundays and is still a chill spot but it has very little traffic during the week. This is another spot that is having difficulty surviving.
Rumba's Restaurant.
During this trip I spent a lot of time on the outside tables of Rumba's Restaurant. The view reminded me of when I would eat at the Latin's restaurant and watch the chica parade go to and from the rest room. At Rumba's Restaurant the chicas do their stroll up and down Pedro Clisante from Rumbas to Classicos which can be a very enjoyable site while you have dinner or a light beverage.
Going forward for the rest of my stay in Sosua I would spend my evenings sitting outside eating ribs (the ribs were very tasty with the meat falling off the bone) or chicken sipping on Fanta Orange watching the chica parade up and down Pedro Clisante.
It never ceases to amaze me how some woman have a "pick me look" and others have "I hate what I do look" why would I pay 1500 plus pesos to be with a woman who can't even smile?
Bar Central & Hotel.
As many times as I have been to Sosua I have never patronized Bar Central or its hotel. Bar Centro is known as "the Haitian Embassy" because it is the gathering place for many of Sosua'a Hatian PFP chicas. When I went in I also saw that there were a few Dominicans there also.
In the rear of the bar there is an attendant that will take your money and lead you upstairs where there are about 6 rooms. The room I used reminded me of the cheap casa rooms in Medellin with the exception of the small TV that was in my room.
The hotel is going to be of great interest for me going forward especially if I choose to live in the Sosua area. I believe it will be a good testing pad in the event I meet someone on the strip who I do not wish to bring to my apartment. The 400 pesos is a small investment to test a PFP chica I do not know.
Ex Pat Pricing & Pricing in general.
I spent a lot of time this trip talking to favoritas about ex-pat pricing laying the ground work for my move. Prices in Sosua continue to fluctuate between 1000-2500ST and 2000-4000 TLN.
I am generally attracted to the 2000ST and 3000 TLN crowd but these women are often times less likely to compromise their prices. Some would quote me prices that differed between 500-1000 pesos off their norm and some would laugh smile and not answer the question. I suspect the best prices will be had over a period of time me being on the ground and waiting them out.
In addition I am looking for a long term friends with benefits type situation with a favorite where I have unlimited access for a monthly stipend, let's call it a sexual retainer. We will see how that develops.
I had an interesting experience.
I usually sit close to the bathroom while I am at Rumbas because it is one of the best ways to view the night's talent. I have become casually acquainted with the restroom attendant. For those of you who do not know her she is a short fat Dominican lady who reminds you of a hotel maid. Occasionally when she gives me toilet paper I will give her a 50 peso tip.
On this trip I was sitting next to her and she asked me "cuando va regresar aqui?" I said "en 3 semanas estoy buscando por un apartamento" Do you know what she asked me to bring her?. Guess? WHAT what she asked me to bring her a Samsung Glaxy cell phone. Yup I AINT lying. Ahm lyke WTF? So I explained how if aduana catches you with the phone you have to pay taxes blah blah blah and she replies saying guys are bring phones down for the chicas and left and right and it shouldn't be a problem.
This goes to show you how corrupted Sosua is becoming when the bathroom attendant is asking for a cell phone "Houston we have a problem!
Closing trip thoughts.
Sosua continues to be alive and well as far as an in-expensive PFP destination, however GFE is hard to come by especially on your first encounter with a chica. GFE can be had in Sosua however it is the exception to the rule.
There are plenty of scammers present which is the risk of doing business in Sosua. All you can do is interview and flirt with the chicas before you take them to judge their temperature. There is no fool proof method to avoid this seeing Sosua chicas are like chameleons which can change colors based on their environment and what suits them.
City Lights is back open and shows great promise, especially if you want to get away from the crowds on the west end of Pedro Clisante.
Conclusion.
Personally I do not care to be in Sosua during the weekends because of the hard core chicas and the weekend warrior element that has a great potential for contention, however the weekends are when Sosua comes alive. Women come from all over the island to get paid and you can see a good cross section of what Dominican women look like if you are interested in dealing with the crowds.
I will be back in Sosua in a couple of weeks and if I observe any changes I will keep you posted.

The old Passions will be called Amazones and open on December 4th. Rancho tipico just past Passions is real nice and away from all the craziness. They had about 15 girls in gold and black shirts that were all good looking and friendly.

Speaking of the DR, I caught something here in the good ol' US trying backpage, 3-4 years ago so no screening is good enough or no place safe enough, but to each his own. Everyone has their own personal trajectory and will develop intellectually or emotionally at their own pace as they pass through the various stages of life. Travel to the DR and the various relationships and experiences I have had there now comprise a significant percentage of my adult life and personal memories, perhaps eclipsing other memories from the past that I would rather not remember, or at least not dwell on, and I am happy to leave it there. However I do still believe that people who have never traveled to the DR will find it a rewarding experience and lead them to question some of the conventions of life wherever they currently live.

For example I rented an absolutely beautiful apartment in a beautiful complex in the DR for over a year and those apartments are for sale for a very reasonable price by US standards and something similar might cost millions in a high rent area in the US.
However I would not buy the one I rented, because it caught the full force of the sun in the early mornings and became unbearably hot in the summer. If I had rented the apartment in the winter, I might have agreed to buy it, then regretted that later.
If anyone is looking for a lease rental around Sosua I would suggest looking in the Caribe Campo area on the other side of the highway from the strip where the clubs and bars are, where there are a number of buildings where apartments are available that are quite spacious and rents are negotiable as reliable tenants (ones who will pay the rent and not wreck the place) are hard to find.
I would walk around and talk to people in the desired area and get phone numbers, or look at ads posted in lobbies. I would avoid real estate agents or other touts or "friends" who will surely be getting kickbacks from the landlord for an introduction.
It is a bit of a renter's market, so check out more than one place before making a decision.
You need to take into account the total cost of renting, for example is cable and wi-fi included, does the place have a backup generator or battery inversor for power cuts, is there a washing machine or laundry, does the place come furnished, are there sheets and towels, cost of cooking gas (in my luxury apartment central cooking gas was included in the rent, but usually you have to refill a tank), is there a pool, does the bedroom get early morning sun, is there a balcony or outside patio, does the place have air-conditioning (electric for a / c can run expensive), what are the arrangements for trash disposal, etc.

Just wondering how Sosua is for New Years Eve? Last year I was at Blackbeards. They had a New Years Eve Party. It was good until midnight. Once the clock struck midnight (actually 12:01) the chicas evacuated the place and it was a ghost town. There were parties on the beach but I was only interested in a party in my room.
I have been to Costa Rica for New Years Eve and that was a drag. The Del Rey was a sausage fest with one or two fat chicas walking around.
That is why I ask about Sosua. Been many time but never for New Years Eve. Hoping the party continues into the morning. Is Classicos open for New Years Eve? If it is the same as CR and BB's then I may venture to GLobe in Switzerland.

December is a big gift giving season in the DR, but since the DR is not a very consumer orientated society due to most of the population having little disposable income, it is also a time when merchants make most of their money rather than slashing prices. At this time of the year you will see stores like La Sirena stocking up with things like children's bicycles and Christmas lights, but most of them go quickly at full price and they are not trying to get rid of unsold stock after Christmas.
Black Friday in the US is obviously an attempt by the large chain store merchants to whip up some consumer excitement and get them spending money on 'bargains', but it is also a time to dump poor selling merchandise or obsolescent in "special offers" to raise cash for new stock, just like July and August is a great time to get good deals on the old year model cars as the new year model cars come into stock.

Pyscho or not, does a dude really need to or be inclined to offer a casual acquaintance chica info of his schedule? More often than not, she is not a friend, nor somebody that has proven to be one. Many of us where we come from are reinforced with the belief that we should give people the benefit of the doubt in terms of their character, until proven otherwise. To a certain extent that philosophy can be a detriment. IMO and especially in an assbackwards country where too often people are manipulating and scheming for survival, I think it is better to start people off with zero credibility from the jump. And regard most of what they portray as an act in order to gain something or to make a certain impression so you will let your guard down, thus making it much easier to find a way to manipulate you.
This isn't always a conscious decision or move. Enough people lie, scheme and manipulate instinctively. We as mongers have to know this and always be prepared for the worse. It is much better to assess character over a period of time, and not be impressed by little things they do. Like sexing you, or paying for a beer, or acting like they arent interested in your money. Besides years ago forums like this, guys have always discussed not telling chicas,touts,beggars etc too much information, including when they are coming, where they are staying and what day and time they were leaving. By keeping them out of the know / loop, a monger can possibly reduce some risk in a chica, or some other unsavory character with parasitical intentions from monitoring or tracking him.
Remember the dude at Tradewinds that got robbed? What happened to him could have happened to anyone. But I wouldn't be surprised that he got entirely too comfortable with that chica. But may fail see the danger in doing that, especially with a casual acquaintance. With that dude I could have asked him something more personal and he would have told me. Ask him to show me his place, get his phone number, where he hangs out etc. And then set his ass up to get ripped off or worse. I would be completely surprised if he hasnt already shared details and information with chicas that they didn't need to know, trying to impress them. Or not having anything meaningful to talk about except himself.
So I would say to any monger out there. When people approach and start asking questions, or one feels inclined to offer info they don't need in an effort to be friendly or break the ice. Deflect their inquiries if you do not need them to know your information. Notice, I said you don't need them to know. They may want to know, because they can use that info, if inclined. Anything a guy can do to get the job done can work. Ignore the request for info altogether, lie and give inaccurate details, offer feedback but omit details. Or just never be sure of anything, time, dates, ones whereabouts in the moment or in the near future etc. But simply be aware of the inclination or habit of talking to just be talking, and not realizing they do not need to know that information. To throw off a nosy chica from trying to get an exact date out of a dude. A dude can say he bought a one way ticket and have no clue when he's going back. The more personal info divulged, the more one can risk being manipulated or have a problem. Imagine you not divulging your schedule or being with anyone else?

Flying in on the Spirit Airlines flight from Lauderdale to Santiago at 2:30 AM and have a recommended driver picking me up at the airport. The only thing good about going Super Bowl weekend is that every puta.
In the Dominican Republic. (Santiago, Santo Domingo, etc.) will be coming to Sosua on Superbowl weekend, So expect some stunnas and very attractive females on Super Bowl weekend. Just Expect to pay anywhere from $100 US-$150 US and its going to be short time.

Ex : She was good before. I had no problems before. She sucked me good, the sex was good. etc Not good reasons for being straight up. And the main reason why, a dudes schedule or any personal information still may not be necessary for them to know.
Moreover, typically when a chica is available and spending her time, she is in it for the money primarily. And perhaps some other comforts and bennies. Of course we want to believe she has feelings for us as well. And many of them put on an academy award winning performance to convince a dude that they really like that dude. But the primary motivation for being with a dude is for personal gain. Therefore, when a guy wants to be straight up and tells a chica he is going to be with other chicas, he is in essence telling her he is sharing her money with other women. That may not sit too well. Especially once it sinks in to what it represents to her pocketbook, and selfworth as a provider. And that is why she may have had a delayed reaction, since you kinda assumed she already knew you were going to be involved with other women.
On the other hand, the average p4 p chica has her own standards. It is not in her interest to be straight up with a dude. Most of them justify their double standard logic. Therefore a dude should consider it is not in his interest to be straight up with someone who may not be reciprocating likewise. Especially one that feels justified in not being straight up with you or thinking they should have more exclusive entitlements to your wallet/benefits.
There is a bad element in Sosua that can ruin your vacation. Many guys are fresh off the farm. THese guys can be taken for a very bad ride. This forum attempts to prepare guys with useful info. A little security goes a long way. I tend to be very open it is a part of my charm being open with some peole will used to hurt you. Little caution is a good thing.

Superbowl weekend is the absolute worst time to go. All the Weekend Warriors come to Sosua and expect the Hotel Prices and the Chica Prices to sky rocket. 5000-7000 Pesos. The only thing good about going Super Bowl weekend is that every puta.
In the Dominican Republic. (Santiago, Santo Domingo, etc.) will be coming to Sosua on Superbowl weekend, So expect some stunnas and very attractive females on Super Bowl weekend. Just Expect to pay anywhere from $100 US-$150 US and its going to be short time.
Only. The chicas are going to be in a hurry to run back to the strip (Rumbas, Classicos). I like going to Sousa in December because the weather is nice (Spring). Also anywhere from May-October (Low Season) is good also.What about the week AFTER Super Bowl Sunday. The weekdays / nights?
Are the costs still jacked up or do the gringos leave town en masse on Monday and all of the prices drop quickly?

I am confident that I can pick up a chica during Superbowl if I just quote her 2000 DOP short term (which is, give or take, about $45 at the present rate on Xe Currency) and even this is high! During Superbowl prices even for the hotels go up and the quantity and quality of chicas during Superbowl rarely matches any other time of the year. I even had talks with hotel owners about this and they tell me it is one of their busiest times of the year, with chicas coming from all around because Sosua gets packed during this time.

You are correct in that prices do go up during Superbowl but not to the amount that you are quoting (well, I do not pay that amount anyway). During the low season prices do go down. I am like you, though, in that I like to go during May or October. Ticket, hotel, and chica prices are lower.
With Superbowl it seems crowded but I will have to admit I've had great times with chicas and just hanging out with some of my buddies. I was just talking to Big D, this past October, about the Superbowl buffet he had at Hotel Calibri, several years ago. A large group of guys drinking, women in their arms, watching football, yelling and rooting for their team yet there was not a single argument (except for a chica disrespecting a waiter).
Sometimes just watching a group of guys figuring out where they are going to watch the Superbowl becomes comical.

I was in DR this past October and the number and quality of women was not as high as during the Superbowl...My whole point is that, when you travel to Sosua around SuperBowl weekend, It is not a buyer market, negotiation is pretty hard especially if your looking to pull a stunna. And if your looking for GFE, forget it, your going to get a rush nut because on that weekend the chicas, are looking to make as much money as they possibly can because they are so much guys coming to sosua on that weekend, I prefer low season when these girls are hungry and I can tell them 1500 or even 1000 pesos and they would gladly take it, because around, slow season everything is slow and there are not to many guys in town.
But everybody has there preferences. The Plus Side of SuperBowl Weekend is that you will see the baddest Dominican girls from all over the country, because its a good chance on Super Bowl weekend they are going to make money because they are so many guys.
