Hi all,

How is the area around Hilton Santo Domingo?

Aare the cases nearby, or will there be working girls nearby?

I'll be there on Sunday.

Any help.

ThanksLook at Boricua online's sdq google map and you can see on a map the places located near the Hilton. The closest place to the Hilton is Dollhouse, which is supposedly an upscale type of strip club, chicas can be taken out, supposedly prices start at $200. I have never been inside Dollhouse. It is on the malecon within two blocks of the hilton. Also on the malecon within two blocks of the Hilton, there is an intersection with an Isla Gas Station on the corner, around that Gas Station in the evenings, there are usually about 10 streetwalkers. The next closest place after that would be casa modelos about 5 minutes away. The casas in gazcue are a very short taxi ride away from the Hilton (less than a 10 minute taxi ride); Bar 305, Girl's House, Satin Club and the street walkers on Independencia near ave. Pasteur.

Depends at what time of the day you want to start mongering on Sunday. If you want afternoon action, Girl's House and bar 305 have some chicas available in the early afternoon. Baby Dolls usually opens early. I was told casa de modelos is open 24/7.

You should be aware that some taxi drivers will try and talk you into going to a particular place. Oftentimes those drivers will receive money from the casa for the clients they bring in. One problem may be that a taxi driver may want to take you to some place that is not close-by. On Sundays the traffic in Santo Domingo is not bad. Other days the traffic can be terrible and you really don't want to be sitting in traffic while the taxi driver takes you to some far away place. If you use a taxi from the hilton, you can ask the front desk to call a taxi for you or the worker at the front door of the hotel. Ask the taxi driver how much to casa de modelos or to Independencia and pasteur, should be no more than 150 pesos.

FYI, it is not unusual for motorcycle owners to go for a quick buck by positioning their motorcycles close enough behind vehicles - especially yipetas (SUVs) that the motorcycle is not visible from inside the vehicle. They will wait for the yipeta owner to back into the motorcycle and then demand a payment.

Heed Jaosusa's advice and always be aware of what is behind you before backing up. It could be a sleazy motocyclista or an unattended child! Always drive with extreme caution as if you were taking a road test - it will keep you out of accidents.Excellent advice. I was driving on Avenida Mexico during the daytime, near the zona colonial and I stopped for red traffic lights. I saw numerous guys on motorcycles totally ignore the red traffic lights and just zoom through the red light, some never slowed down.

With you and Jaososua holding SD down and me, CJ, SP, and CH running rampant in Sosua I think we got both end covered.

To be honest I'm not a casa dude, plus when they say 5mil and mean it, that kills it for me.

Actually I like SD as a city and with my improving spanish, it is a future option. The day we went to GBP, it was early in the evening, the one chica in GBP told you 5 mil because she would have exited GBP early and she had to factor in the amount of money, she could potentially make staying in GBP.

In most casas you can get a casa chica for 2,500. In the future if you see a chica you like at GBP, return around 10pm and you will get a better take out price.

Satin Club and Bar 305 are two newer clubs that have opened since you were in SDQ. Satin Club has a large dance platform with a stripper pole and satin club has a second smaller bar upstairs with a stripper pole. Bar 305 has a stripper pole near the sofas. There is a place called Showgirls in SDQ that has nude dancing.

At A-1 Divas the tall busty chica did a free strip show using the pole.

Next time you are in SDQ, I will give you a better tour. I know the city a little bit better now. On a future trip I will show you eagle sports bar, La Base Bar, Cats, Casa Azul, Casa Theresa, A-1 Divas, Bar 305, Satin, the penthouse, showgirls, Club MC, the chicas on the Malecon near the Isla Gas Station, coppa discoteca and Mint.

Of course if you want to see non-pro chicas, Acropolis Mall with Hooters and Docks bar. The bars on Avenida Roberto Pastoriza, Zambra and others. Monte Cristo cafe can be good. The bars on Avenida Venezuela, the newest of which is called Wao. Bottoms Bar at the Hotel Clarion might be a good spot to meet some non-pro chicas.

I am still learning SDQ, so hopefully when we meet again, I will know some other places.

You can have a lot of fun in SDQ.

after niko and i changed the flat tire on the chevy aveo, there was a bad noise coming from that tire. i drove the car to where i was staying and parked the car for the night. the next day i called alamo and i told them the front tire was making a bad metal on metal scraping noise. they told me to drive the car over to their office on independencia near maximo gomez, which i did. i was nervous driving with the noise coming from the wheel. i once owned a saab car and one time the brake caliper got stuck and over heated the brake fluid and i had no pressure on the brake lines, no fun when you press the brake pedal and the pedal goes down to the floor without stopping the car.

at that alamo office on independencia they told me they had no cars and that i should drive to the alamo office on avenida de los proceres. avenida lincoln north of avenida kennedy becomes avenida de los proceres. i thought that alamo office would give me a different car and i knew that the car i was returning, the gas tank would have to be on full. i passed one texaco gas station north of kennedy, but i was in the middle lane of traffic and could not get over to my right to get to that gas station. i continued driving and saw the alamo office but i wanted to gas up the car before returning it.

i turned on avenida argentina. i saw some very nice homes which front the national botanical garden. the national botanical garden was like a forest of greenery. i eventually found a gas station and then took the car to alamo on avenida de los proceres.

the guy at alamo said they had no other cars available and that i would have to wait, while they repaired the car. diamond mall was about three blocks from there, so i took a walk and hung out in diamond mall, while i waited for the car to be repaired. diamond mall is a medium sized mall. on the food court floor, i noticed stickers on floor saying this is a wifi hot spot. i wish i had brought my laptop so that i could have connected to the internet while i waited.

some places where i have stayed in sdq there has been no free wifi. i am curious as to whether some coffee shops/restaurants/malls in sdq offer free wifi. appears the food court at diamond mall offered free wifi. i am curious as to whether there are any other places in sdq where you can connect for free (or after buying coffee or some other drinks/food), thanks.

The thought that ten guys have been jumping on this girl hours before I arrived turns me off. Passions in Sosua has some fine ass girls that trick all day then go to classicos at night. If I hook up with her at Classicos not knowing that she works at passions thats cool. But its like the saying"what you don't know you don't think about"

I like good sex, not fast sex, not structured sex, aint no way I would eat pussy or kiss knowing she works in a casa. I guess I like a connection, something more personal, something less formal. To go to a casa pay 2000pesos to strap up and jump up and down on a chica for an hour is not me. I might as well stay home and jack off and save 2000p.

I guess sosua has spoiled me, its not structured, prices are cheap, and according to your and her personality a connection is possible. I understand they are tricks but I got no problem having tricks as friends. I've met tricks at Classicos, banged them that night and in the morning(good sex) then said"look, I'll give you 50usd per day plus food to hang with me for a couple days"we will go to Cabarette or play house in the room, no rush, no pressure, no bullshit and I know the sex is good thats why I commited. Try this in Santo Domingo.

I never hear you or bq ribs talk about regulars with all that stray pussy in SD plus you speak perfect spanish. The pics you sent me was one of the finest girls I've ever seen. My first reaction was to say"shes a keeper move her to the top and treat her special"My point is I never like to be dictated to, I run my own shit especially when it comes to sex and how I get it.

To each his own, but to go in a room strap up then leave after 100 stokes 2000pesos lighter is not me.

Pacos (Grands) has free WiFi along with the KFC across from Franks cambio. There is a KFC on Gomez near Bolivar and I was also in a KFC on Tirantes that had free WiFi. At the KFC you have to ask at the counter for the password but at Pacos you can log in without a password.

My favorite hotels, Jaguar, Venezia, and Carey House all have in room fast free WiFi.

Coppa discoteca chicas usually want $100 dollars and up. .

.

I was talking on msn with one of my Santo Domingo novias (I define novia as a repeat girl) and she wants to celebrate her 19th birthday on a disco. I told her "Go to Coppa" and she said "I like Coppa but that place is full of prostitutes, and clients too, I had a few proposals from foreign guys while there". It was funny to hear that, maybe Jaosousa was there that night.

My "novia" has a formal boyfriend, a 50yr old italian guy that recently bought her a complete room furniture set and sends her money with some frequency. She also makes money with a few novios like me when we stay in SDQ. I don't doubt that she have met some of her friends in Coppa.

Thanks, I will pay the place a visit. Take Ave Alma Mater to Avenida Pedro Urena and that will take me to Calle Cesar Nicholas Penson. The restaurant is located at 157A Calle Cesar Nicolás Penson.

Nice thing about the google map for Santo Domingo is that it gives the direction of travel of the roads, from the google map you can know which streets are one way streets and their direction of travel.

http://www.asadordeantonio.com/4.html

Excellent NY/Buenos Aires/Chicago style steakhouse grill with excellent ambience and wine list. It is popular with government functionaries, foreign professionals, and embassy staff.

The owner, Antonio, is from Spain and he maintains a sophisticated and comfortable environment. You and the other diners will not be comfortable if anyone engages in indiscreet behaviour such as sucking face with hoes or talking about commercial sex exploits. You can get a consistently high quality meal there and it is a 5-minute or less drive and a direct shot from GBP on the way to Gazcue or the Colonial Zone.

Please don't make me regret this recommendation and cause me to discontinue recommending. Enjoy.

When I was in Santo Domingo this past November, I hung out with her a few nights. She didn't ask me for money. I knew one of her friends from online and that chica was living in a very nice apartment near the Malecon, supposedly some foreign guy bought the apartment for that friend.

The chica I hung out with back in November, I have seen her in Coppa probably five times since then, she was sitting next to a different older guy each time.

In Coppa some chicas are obviously pros, but other chicas, I can't tell. I thought I was chatting with a non-pro one night at coppa, until she said to me something about 5,000 pesos. At that point I excused myself and went home.

Some sexy chicas show up at Coppa. Not the easiest place to mingle, it is not a big place, lighting is not dark, music is loud.

For me it is an easy place to visit, walking distance from where I usually stay, I stop in for one or two presidente cervezas and check out the scene and then exit. I have taken chicas there and I took Greek Niko there with his girlfriend and the girlfriend's friend, it was fun, dancing and drinking shots of tequila and vodka.

I agree. However, the pool of chicas in Sosua is somewhat limited. I have made over ten trips to Sosua. There were nights in Sosua when I went home alone, I could not find a chica that I liked. I am not that picky. In Santo Domingo, very difficult for me to go more than a day without being with a chica that I like. Santo Domingo has hard core pros, semi-pros and non-pros.

Someone asked a bank robber, why he robbed banks, he responded, that's where the money is. I visit casas because it is where the chicas are. Bar 305 has probably over 30 chicas. The number of clients that come through their doors is few compared to the number of chicas in the house. I don't see the casa chicas as being on a sexual treadmill, where they have a different penis inside of them every 2 hours. I don't see the clients waiting in line to get a poke at some particular chica. I would guess some casa chicas may go days or longer without getting a paid customer.

I have gone to casas, drank beers and not taken a chica out. In a casa you can sit and chat with the chica or have the chica dance for you, before you decide to take the chica out. It is a little bit more of a controlled environment, usually a casa chica will not try to rob you or cause some other drama. If you were to have a problem with a casa chica, you could go back to the owner of the casa and I would guess most owners would try to make things right. Each casa owner is different, but I doubt they would accept any chica who stole from a client. In Sosua, you never know for sure how a chica will be. If a Sosua chica steals from you, good luck trying to find her.

To me, Sosua only has pros. In Santo Domingo I can hang out in bars or discos with non-pro chicas and then when I want to see some pros, there are plenty of places in Santo Domingo where I can find pro chicas.

In Santo Domingo I have never been close to having a fist fight with another guy. In Sosua, I have come across foreign guys and dominican guys, that I could have very easily had fist fights with. I made over ten trips to Sosua, my wingman enjoys Sosua, I have no desire to return to Sosua.

Structure pussy in Sd is a ripoffGBP two chicas for 1,500 pesos, I doubt you will find a price like that in Sosua. Street chicas for 1,000 pesos in SDQ.

If you want Haitian chicas, Sosua wins. In Sosua on many nights, I would guess 50% of the chicas are Haitian, some of the Haitian chicas in Sosua are fat and not overly pretty. In Santo Domingo, you have light skin chicas, morenas, dark skin chicas, short chicas, tall chicas, thin chicas, big ass chicas and chicas with big tetas. The pool of available chicas is greater in Santo Domingo.

Big booty?

It was just squeezably soft and juicy in other words a Greeks Dee Lite.

GBP has a diverse selection of chicas, 1000 pesos for one chica or 1500 pesos for two chicas. Some chicas will dance and get naked near the bar area, so you can see what their body looks like sin ropas. Milka is a cute morena, thin, with hard nipples. The day I was there, a big chested (probably has a big booty as well), blonde haired, light skin chica was chatting with me. I believe her name is Ruby.

There were a few big booty chicas at GBP. Greek Niko chose one light skin, big booty chica.

Pacos Club near the airport has some thick legged chicas. Also casa azul had a few chicas with healthy rear ends.

There is one tall morena chica in bar 305, that has a very cute face and thick legs.

To each his own, but to go in a room strap up then leave after 100 stokes 2000pesos lighter is not me.2, 000 pesos is more than anybody needs to pay. For some it's not a lot of money. We can probably agree to disagree about this but I think "structured" is a very good way to describe Sosua. It is an open air version of what you call a casa. It's a little amusing to me to see a distinction made between eating pussy or kissing a girl who works in a casa in the capital and doing it to a girl who works the street, beach, and/or bars in Sosua. You might not see it but Sosua is just as structured as any casa. Enjoy Sosua and enjoy the capital. Have fun and don't sweat it. I think your odds of relating to a woman in a non commercial way are much better in Puerto Plata, Santo Domingo, or anywhere else in the country besides Sosua or maybe Boca Chica, but that's only my opinion for what it is worth.

Mr Gogo you have it all wrong. The problem with SD is guys don't want to take time to learn the ropes. The only casa I go to is GBP which caters primarily to locals so the price is right. A lot of these chicas work two or three days and don't get a trick in a casa. You just don't know.

Most guys I know that prefer SD are the ones who got tired of the same old Sosua thing. It took me 6 trips to Sosua and I got tired of the same day in and day out shit. Nothing changes in Sosua. Sosua is great if all you want to do is bang chicas. SD gives you a chance to bang chicas and still have a vaction seeing and doing other things. I don't try to convince anyone to switch over to SD until they start to get tired of Sosua.

Myself, I chuckle when I read the Sosua thread and guys talk about how they had this girl two nights ago and another poster says he just had her this morning. I just got back from a week in SD and I doubt if I saw 5 foreigners puta chasing.

As far as regular chicas, dude you can forget that. No decent Dominicana is going to even think about hooking up with someone who doesn't live in the country. Why would she? Jao's Spanish is decent and I have seen some of the non-pros he knows. BoricuaOnline is a native Spanish speaker and he knows some fine chicas. Both of these guys would never post those chicas pics on this board. My Spanish is one level below terrible. I can speak enough for someone to understand my thoughts but I don't understand a word of Spanish.

If you re-read Jao posts you will realize he very rarely deals with the casa chicas other than chit chat and have a beer. Casas are good for new guys to SD.

I was in Sosua a couple of months ago to have lunch. I couldn't wait to get out of that town. Just too many hard core putas propositioning you. I will admit my first few trips I was in love with Sosua, but the love wore off.

Just remember most of those chicas are coming from places like SD.

One more turn off for guys are your chances of meeting a wingman in SD are very slim. SD guys are usually guys who don't mind chasing chicas solo.

I was into Sosua before they changed the hotel name to New Garden. It is the same routine today as it was five years ago.

Sosua will always be the puta capital of rep dom, that will never change. Just don't go knocking SD and think you know what it is about until you spent some time,,,,,,,,,,,, and not just a few nights.

Just curious, how many trips have you made to Sosua compared to SD?

.........."we will go to Cabarette or play house in the room, no rush, no pressure, no bullshit and I know the sex is good thats why I commited. Try this in Santo Domingo...............
You are right you can't take a chica to Cabarette when in SD. We have other options. There are the winter baseball games, there is always a half dozen movie theaters to choose from, once a year the Carnaval is in town, the amusement park and circus makes a yearly visit, Plaza Espana has free concerts. The new plaza on the malecon has weekend entertainment. There are 3 or 4 "decent" night clubs with concerts every so often. If you really get bored you can take your chica shopping at one of the malls............. Try some of this is Sosua..............

Believe it or not but the chicas love Boca Chica. Not the tourist part of Boca Chica but the west end of town where on the weekend you won't see a gringo tourist in sight. There is also Playa Andres which 99.9% Dominicanos.

Both cities cater to a different group of guys. I think the SD guys are a more relaxed group not just looking to run wild in a foreign country.

BTW no brown socks, black sandals, cargo shorts, and Hawaiian shirts allowed in SD (not intended for you cause I know you don't dress like that).

Peace............

P.S. Don't expect to be around too many tourists when you out and about in SD...........

Remember to buy the chica Presidente Light, a hat, and some food at the game........ the noise makers are free

I was into Sosua before they changed the hotel name to New Garden. It is the same routine today as it was five years ago.Hotel Garden Keti or something like that, was the prior name of New Garden. I was in Sosua when High Caribe disco was open. As another monger posted about Sosua "Rinse, wash, repeat." Standing around in Classicos, night after night, waiting for a doable chica to appear, not for me anymore. Sosua has some attractive chicas, but you will see many more attractive chicas in Santo Domingo.

The more attractive chicas in Sosua, last time I was there wanted 2000 pesos or more for a few hours. Some of the chicas in GBP, for 1000 pesos, are more attractive than some of the Sosua chicas that were asking for 2000 or more pesos.

Comfort level plays a part, when a person knows the lay of the land, that person will feel more comfortable and be able to enjoy themselves more. Santo Domingo is a big city, it takes a while to learn it and get a comfort level where you can really enjoy what it has to offer.

Mr Gogo has fun in Sosua, that is what it is all about. Enjoy yourself whether you are in punta cana, la romana, puerto plata, sosua, bani, santiago, bonao, boca chica or santo domingo.

Bq Ribs, the less guys that come to SDQ, more chicas for you and me. I am sure the Sosua guys say the same about us, "let those two guys stay in SDQ, more chicas for us in Sosua". LOL.

Maybe I'm judging Santo Domingo by a bad expirience I had at the girls house in 06.

Back then I was staying at Mercure hotel doing the el conde thing. Nice hotel, small rooms, great breakfast buffet, and nice patio to score from. Met a guy from Chicago at Mercure and we decided to hit girls house casa. This was my second visit to the DR after Sosua had kicked my ass.

We walked to the park to the left of Mecure to hail a cab, and this Dominican hustler invited himself. At the GH we pay the cab and go in. The hustler wanted his cut but we ignored him which pissed him off but we didn't care.

Once in the Gh there were girls coming from everywhere to do a lineup. We picked a couple girls, but first we wanted some drinks to get familiar. We asked the pricing structure. It was 5mil tln, drinks were 500pesos each but if we took the girls it would be discounted. I instantly felt like a sucker but hadn't figured out how I was going to get out of this and save face.

Something funny happened next. The brother from Chicago said he had to step outside for a minute. I'm thinking he figured out his exit stragedy and beat me to the fuck move, and was going to stick me with the bill. I proceed to tell the manager that I just meet the brother and we werent together and I'm paying for me and the one girl only. Now everybody is looking at me like I'm a crazy MF. After 15 min my boy(the chicago brother)walks back in after finishing his cigarette. He says the next round is on him(boy do I feel stupid).

We agree to take the girls back to Mecure for 4mil each(its 11; 30pm). At the hotel the girl starts talking on her phone, then says we have to hurry because she have to go. We argue and she finally gives me a CBJ and 20 minutes of sex with her looking at her watch every 5 minutes. Finally I decide to cut my loses and tell her to get out. The trick even had the nerve to ask for a propina.

My next visit I met Elizabeth (previous pics) in front of Mecure at 11pm. Great time even repeated. Had the dark skinned girl that sells her papers on El conde (lousy lay). Then my third time in Sd I did the tri-city report.

Second visit hooked up with Jose, good dude showed me some nice girls. He used to live in Laurderdale but got deported. His boy mike talked to fast for me to trust, heard he is locked up.

I'm one of those guys that hears a song on the radio and buys the CD. Then I play that song back to back till one day I get tired of that song and listen to the rest of the CD. Same with American women, if they give me some good pussy I'm sitting outside their door like a lost puppy, then they stop fucking me. My point is I wear a good thing out til I'm forced to move on. So until Sosua gets tired of me Santo Domingo will have to wait. But when I'm' ready I got you and Jao there to give me the tour. Much appreciated.

I've also tried using the ATM's in spanish and they seem to work better..................
As crazy as this may sound there seems to be some truth to it. I went to the Progresso bank ATM at the 24 hr farmacia on Independencia. I selected other amount, entered 6,000 pesos and got a message "Unable to,,,,,,,blah, blah, blah". I signed back into my account and selected one of the predetermined amounts, 5,000 pesos. I got the same message, "Unable to,,,,,,blah, blah, blah". I signed back in but selected Spanish as the language. You don't have to be fluent in Spanish to make a simple withdrawl. I selected 5,000 pesos and instead of getting the message again the machine churns, grinds, and spits out 5,000 pesos.

Spanish worked English didn't..................

I agree with you on that. When I was doing Sosua I thought it was the greatest thing on earth. Some get tired of Sosua, move on and some love it so much they actually move there. Just don't go knocking my beloved Santo Domingo. BTW the 5k pesos you were quoted at GBP for afternoon TLN takeout is actually cheaper than what la Passions charges in Sosua. I would never ever pay that much. Without a doubt I know la Passions has nothing near the 2 chica full service 1500 pesos. The best thing at a casa is sample the chica on site and have her come to your hotel on off hours.

Once in the Gh there were girls coming from everywhere to do a lineup. We picked a couple girls, but first we wanted some drinks to get familiar. We asked the pricing structure. It was 5mil tln, drinks were 500pesos each but if we took the girls it would be discounted. I instantly felt like a sucker but hadn't figured out how I was going to get out of this and save face.Drink prices in some casas are crazy, I have in the past paid 400-500 for a chica's drink in some casas. In casa azul I bought the chicas presidente cervezas, price around 150 pesos for each beer. Some chicas will share their bottle of beer with other chicas. I bought chicas presidente beer in Bar 305 as well.

At 150 pesos for a small bottle of beer, the owner of a casa is making a profit. 400 pesos for a small glass of Baileys is just a rip off. My advice if you want to chat up a chica in a casa and if you want to buy her a drink get her a presidente beer (you are not obliged to buy drinks for any chicas in any casa, totally voluntary, you can go into a casa and chat with the chicas without buying them a drink). Some casa chicas will say they want Baileys or some other mixed drink, it is up you whether you want to spend 400-500 pesos for that.

Mr Gogo you are my friend and I promised to visit your business in Cabarete, so I will take the trip north and visit and do a tour around Sosua with you, I am sure I will have fun. I enjoy the Dominican Republic, there is always something fun to do, whatever town or city I may be in.

After RTFMin'g, it seems like the best place to stay is on Ave Independecia. It's right in the middle with Zona Colonial to the right and another SW street on the left. I was thinking about staying at a hotel in that area for 2 nights. My main requirement is Wifi, no bugs, hot water to shower, and girl friendly (without an extra fee).

It seems like my best options for the cheapest price are:

* Mystik Hotel
* Hotel Navarro
* Riazor Hotel
* Jaguar Apart Hotel

For each one, can you guys tell me if
1. Does it have wifi?
2. Are there any bugs?
3. Is it girl friendly (doesn't charge extra for girls to come in)
4. Does it have hot water?
5. How much does it cost per night?

Both the chicas I sampled provided their phone number at no urging on my part with a request to meet up for the whole day .

I just got back from 6 days in Sosua and had a blast. I arrived last Thursday and can't remember ever seeing more good looking chicas in Classicos on a weeknight. And there just weren't that many gringos so it was a buyer's market. I love the beach in Sosua. I was in the discos every night but Monday and never saw a lack of talent. Usually, I find Sosua to be hit and miss for talent on any given night.
Two weeks ago, I spent five days in La Capital and had a blast even though it was over the election weekend. And a couple weeks before that I spent 4 days in Sosua and then drove down to SDQ for my last 2 nights.
I've been to Sosua at least 30 times and almost as many times to La Capital. Like others, I tired of Sosua and, for a time, stopped going there. But recently, I've really enjoyed myself there. It's a small town and over time, I've come to know a lot of jivas who live there as well as a lot of chicas. Also, you tend to meet the same mongerers over and over again. So it's fun to socialize while looking for a new chica.
I'm constantly learning new things about SDQ. And besides the diversity, I like that there are constant opportunities to meet non-pros. Like Jao, I usually have a few girls that I've met online who I try to hook up with. But you can find girls in the malls, in restaurants, everywhere who will respond to you (or the chance to snag a "rich" gringo). And I love the fact that if things don't work out, you can hit a casa at the night's end (or find something on Independencia).
Both places have their draw. As does Santiago, La Romana, Samana and the list goes on.

The four are chica friendly with no extra guest fee, as far as I know. Mystik Hotel, I have walked by numerous times, sign outside says free wifi, $55 per night. Mystik is on Ave. Pasteur, between the Malecon and Independencia. Next door to Mystik is Girl's House and next door to Girl's House is Satin Club. 1/2 block from Mystik is Villar Hernanos restaurant/pastry shop/sandwich shop. Across the street from Villar Hernanos is Club 305.

Some guys don't like Mystik, because Avenida Pasteur is a busy street and there are usually groups of guys hanging out on Pasteur near Mystik Hotel. Those guys are generally harmless, some can be annoying sometimes, because some of them will approach a foreigner offering to show places where chicas are. But you can just say no gracias and keep walking and they will not bother you.

Hotel Navarro is probably the cheapest of the Hotels you mentioned. It is one block east of Avenida Pasteur, on Avenida Indpendencia. I have no idea what the rooms look like in Navarro. I don't know whether the rooms have safes or wifi. Always outside Hotel Navarro, at night there are street walkers. I walked into Hotel Navarro one afternoon and saw chicas lounging in their pajamas, some chicas who work at Foxys live at the Hotel Navarro. I was told the price at Navarro was something like 1500 pesos per night. Hotel Navarro is a two floor building.

Hotel Riazor from what I have been told is chica friendly with no extra guest fee. At the Hotel Riazor they may check to see a chica's cedula. Riazor is about a four story building, on Independencia, well lit up at night, directly behind the Renaissance Jaragua Hotel. I don't know if the rooms have wifi.

Jaguar hotel is on a side street about two blocks up from Independencia, two blocks up from Manolos restaurant and Hotel Riazor. Wifi in the rooms at Jaguar. I don't know if the rooms have safes, but my guess is they probably do.

Bq Ribs can give up to date prices at the Jaguar. If you don't mind walking up a quiet side street at night, Jaguar has gotten good reviews.

I haven't stayed at any of these hotels, I have friends who have stayed at each of these hotels.

I have stayed in the past at the hotel maison gatreux, which is around the corner from Intercontinental V Centenario (which is a big hotel on the malecon). Maison Gatreux is down the block from Hotel Navarro. Free wifi, digital safes in the rooms, good security and air conditioner in my room was cold. The rooms are not luxurious. I checked in with a gf and paid 1,980 pesos which is about $55 US.

Any questions, just ask.

Tough call........ Jaguar will fill your needs but for a newbie to SD that two block walk at night most guys don't feel comfortable with. Jaguar has in room wireless, hot water with great pressure, digital safe large enough for laptop, multiple chica friendly. I can speak about Jaguar as out of the hotels you mentioned that is the only one I have stayed at.

Riazor is in a much better location right on Independencia. Just walk out the door and just about anything you need is less than a two block walk. I do believe WiFi is only available in the lobby area. Someone who has stayed there will have to verify that.

Navarro and Mystik also serve as short stay hotels so that should give you a better feel for what they would be like.

For a two night stay I would favor Riazor.

When the drinks with crazy jacked up prices include kick backs to the girls, there are alot of guys who will come in to look and talk with the girls but not buy their services. This gives them some money for their time.

This may or may not be the case. When a friend of mine was running a similar operation the girls didn't get kickbacks, but the overpriced drinks certainly helped finance the finders fees paid to taxi drivers who brought in tourist customers.

Good deal for the girls if they are getting a cut of the drinks bill, but from a management point of view, I would think it would be difficult to administer fairly.

I've got friends that own stripclubs in the states and I am friends with the guy who owns bar 360 in the zona colonial.

Glen runs his bar like that, for some reason its always the baileys type drinks that are the mark up that he shares with the chicas. They basically keep a tally.

As for the bars in the states, I've seen some pretty silly stuff going on there, since prostitution is illegal alot of these girls give the impression they can be sweet talked and these guys pay hundreds of dollars for drinks and get no where.

There are these mexican bars that will sell the girls shots of tequila in different shot glasses with 2 or 3 pieces of lime inside and just a hint of tequila so the can drink all night without getting wasted.

I'd just rather give the girl a bit of a tip after talking with them while I decide, I'm not hanging out in these places for the bar action.

I have stayed in all hotels. I rate (according to my criteria) Riazor as the best, 2) Jaguar, 3) Mystik, 4) Navarro.

Riazor and Navarro have computers in the lobby for guest use, I have seen people using laptops at Riazor lobby. I do not know if they have wi-fi.

No bugs on any room I have stayed.

In terms of guest friendliness all are guest friendly, Navarro is the only hotel and sometimes Jaguar that do not request for a cedula . Navarro and Mystik also rents for short term (two hours etc.)

All have hot water and a/c.

All hotels are less than a 10 minute walk far from another.

In terms of size, Riazor is the biggest, followed by Jaguar/Mystik and Navarro.

Jaguar is the only one with laptop sized electronic safes.

Riazor and Navarro have mini bars for a price, Jaguar and Mystik do not. Jaguar has large sized fridges in some rooms and a small kitchen in most. Riazor has 24 hour room service for adjacent Manolos restaurant. Navarro has a large bar open thru 10 pm and a sandwich place in front that opens by night. Mystik has a 24-hr bar.

Jaguar has the most confortable beds followed by Riazor, Mystik and Navarro in that order. Navarro rooms are very basic and the smallest one, the room I rented for $40 do not have a closet. I paid $55 on Jaguar, $58 on Riazor and $60 for a room with balcony, Mistyk cost $55. Mystik has porno channels on tv.

Navarro owner also owns Foxys and maybe any of the new places in the area. His brother owns Mystik and Girls House. Riazor owner also owns Manolos restaurant. Jaguar owner has his own apartment and office on site, a very nice guy.

2. Are there any bugs? Many places in Dom Rep will have tiny, tiny ants. If you leave food out, many times those really small ants will find the food. Outside there are some mosquitoes, but usually in Santo Domingo, I don't recall the mosquitoes as being in any great numbers. Some hotels near beaches have a bigger concentration of mosquitoes. Bed bugs or other nasty biting insects, I have never encountered in Santo Domingo. In the hotels that I have stayed at in Santo Domingo, the maids came in everyday and put fresh sheets on the bed and gave new towels.

You can bring with you some benadryl spray on lotion, in case you get a bug bite. I usually bring with me mosquito spray, but I can't recall ever using it in Santo Domingo. If you go to a beach town, have the mosquito spray (insect repellent).

If I go into a casa and an attractive chica sits down next to me and she puts her hand over my pants and starts massaging my dick, I don't mind buying her a beer. Chicas who get up a do a nude dance in front of me, with a lap dance, I will give them a tip.

Brugal Cream they had at your friend's bar, 360. Brugal Cream is very similar to Baileys.

Being away from the center of Santo Domingo does have its advantages. Gran Paradise is located in a large two story house, basically with no other buildings around it. As such it is private. There is a Colmado 1/2 block away that delivered ice cold large presidentes cervezas when I visited.

I would like to rent a room at Gran Paradise and bring with me one or two semi-freaky chicas. This is where I think Gran Paradise can really differentiate itself from other places. When I visited Gran Paradise I met the security guy, a guy who is in the Policia Nacional. He stayed for about 30 minutes and then he exited. After that, is was only me, yani and the owner of gran paradise in the house. If on that day, I decided to rent a room and had brought with me one or two chicas, I would almost have that large house to myself with the chicas.

On the second floor there is a large terrace, I would ask first, but I don't think it would be a problem, if my chicas wanted to sun bathe nude on that terrace or go swimming in the pool nude. I don't think the owner of Gran Paradise would have a problem with that, if there were no other people in the house.

Play with my nude chicas on the terrace or in the pool, again I don't think it would be a problem.

I don't know any other hotel on the south coast where you could do those types of things, without someone potentially coming and telling you to stop.

Some guys know the apartment building where I sometimes stay in Santo Domingo and the pool and jacuzzi at that building. My last trip I was showing two non-pro chicas the pool at around 7pm and some older guy was fucking some chica hard in the jacuzzi. I walked right by the guy with the two chicas and the guy didn't stop for a second.

At Gran Paradise I think I could fun have If bring with me one or two chicas. I like to have sex outside, under the sun or under the stars at night, I think if I stayed at Gran Paradise, I could easily do that.

mr gogo you have it all wrong. the problem with sd is guys don't want to take time to learn the ropes. the only casa i go to is gbp which caters primarily to locals so the price is right. a lot of these chicas work two or three days and don't get a trick in a casa. you just don't know.

most guys i know that prefer sd are the ones who got tired of the same old sosua thing. it took me 6 trips to sosua and i got tired of the same day in and day out shit. nothing changes in sosua. sosua is great if all you want to do is bang chicas. sd gives you a chance to bang chicas and still have a vaction seeing and doing other things. i don't try to convince anyone to switch over to sd until they start to get tired of sosua.

myself, i chuckle when i read the sosua thread and guys talk about how they had this girl two nights ago and another poster says he just had her this morning. i just got back from a week in sd and i doubt if i saw 5 foreigners puta chasing.

as far as regular chicas, dude you can forget that. no decent dominicana is going to even think about hooking up with someone who doesn't live in the country. why would she? jao's spanish is decent and i have seen some of the non-pros he knows. boricuaonline is a native spanish speaker and he knows some fine chicas. both of these guys would never post those chicas pics on this board. my spanish is one level below terrible. i can speak enough for someone to understand my thoughts but i don't understand a word of spanish.

if you re-read jao posts you will realize he very rarely deals with the casa chicas other than chit chat and have a beer. casas are good for new guys to sd.

i was in sosua a couple of months ago to have lunch. i couldn't wait to get out of that town. just too many hard core putas propositioning you. i will admit my first few trips i was in love with sosua, but the love wore off.

just remember most of those chicas are coming from places like sd.

one more turn off for guys are your chances of meeting a wingman in sd are very slim. sd guys are usually guys who don't mind chasing chicas solo.

i was into sosua before they changed the hotel name to new garden. it is the same routine today as it was five years ago.

sosua will always be the puta capital of rep dom, that will never change. just don't go knocking sd and think you know what it is about until you spent some time, and not just a few nights.

just curious, how many trips have you made to sosua compared to sd?

you are right you can't take a chica to cabarette when in sd. we have other options. there are the winter baseball games, there is always a half dozen movie theaters to choose from, once a year the carnaval is in town, the amusement park and circus makes a yearly visit, plaza espana has free concerts. the new plaza on the malecon has weekend entertainment. there are 3 or 4 "decent" night clubs with concerts every so often. if you really get bored you can take your chica shopping at one of the malls. try some of this is sosua.

believe it or not but the chicas love boca chica. not the tourist part of boca chica but the west end of town where on the weekend you won't see a gringo tourist in sight. there is also playa andres which 99. 9% dominicanos.

both cities cater to a different group of guys. i think the sd guys are a more relaxed group not just looking to run wild in a foreign country.

btw no brown socks, black sandals, cargo shorts, and hawaiian shirts allowed in sd (not intended for you cause i know you don't dress like that).

peace.

p.s. don't expect to be around too many tourists when you out and about in sd.

remember to buy the chica presidente light, a hat, and some food at the game. the noise makers are freeyou are right in most cases the regular girls won't hook up with guys on vacation. but if you tell them you are here for business and they see you come and go frequently then they are just as easy to reel in as the "wolf pack "on the independencia.

i frequent the casinos and am a "vip" in all of them (not proud of that) but it gets boring here. i get hit on by everyone from the camareras to the viejas that i have known for the past 16 years. they know me trust me and think i am rich oh and i speak fluent spanish.

can't dance worth a shit though

one little 22 year old cutie got to me. she worked on me for six months before i said what the hell i will try her out.

half dominican and half filipina with a snapping toto. (holy hell) but have never enjoyed sex as much with anyone as i do with this little "loca"

she lied about everything including her name, not smart as i know her bosses so once we got through the "i am not a dumb ass and don't try and rip me off part", things have been pretty good, other then the temper and jealousy.

if i told you i was getting it for free i would be lying through my teeth.

i am sure over the past year she has cost me about $750, 000 pesos (usd $20, 000. 00)

the usual milk and [CodeWord131] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord131) but i go and buy that stuff oh yeah medical insurance for her and the 3 year old boy. cheaper then handing cash to her every time the kid sniffles.

sounds like a lot but a hell of a lot cheaper then a wife.

i used to get pissed when she would come up with the lamest excuses of how she forgot to charge her phone or she was in area with bad service (yeah right). she is too hot and gets hit on by everyone plus she works in a casino that we all know and love and there is more swinging dick there then you can shake a stick at. i caught her with her no working domincan boyfriend. the good looking ones all have one in the closet and few vistors as well. don't let them fool you 99. 99%

the reason i am revealing my story is that one can monger any way he chooses in sd. hookers locals moms grandmas they all love to screw.

you sure as the hell don't need to spend 20k, my advantage is i own my place here in the capital and don't have to pay for hotels airline tickets etc. so that money goes to the chica's.

i have been here since the la petit chateau era" know girls that started out there when they were 18 and still keep in touch with a few that were special.

everyone enjoy, be safe and don't fall in love!

Gran Paradise has reduced its prices, a full now costs 2000 pesos. Erotic massages run from 1000 pesos and private strip shows from 300 pesos. Presidentes from 100 pesos and a Jumbo cost 200, a good deal for this business category.

They now rent rooms for 1100 pesos per day or aprox. $30 . Check their website. I hope to visit in mid July.

Now, now, now. Don't talk about them refined young ladies on independencia. There are some cuties there, I see one that used to work at Lapsus near the Isla, she used to be hot and was one of my favorites but now she looks worn out and tough like leather "cuero"

Very sad, she had a Italian guy that promised her everything but then he dumped like trash. These girls won't fall for a line anymore so thats why tend to get a s much out of a foreigner as they can.

You got any secret spots you like to hang out at you want to share?

You guys have that covered, I didn't know half these places existed. I don't do the casa's anymore there are so many regular girls that are very lonely.

Looks like Jaosousa and Borricua have done there R&D and I am learning from them. And yourself, I like your attitude and methods.

Like my

'little loca" said this morning " there are "piles de mujerers" piles of women. We went to have breakfast at 5:00 AM at Adrian on the Malecon and it was like a fashion show with 3 women to every guy. I was getting slapped pinched and scolded for looking too hard. She realizes now that she is lucky,. Well at least today

I was just looking at an arrival around midnite thinking where the fuck am I going to go at that hour. $30 for a room for the night and maybe a chica sounds like just what the doctor ordered.I would call earlier in the day, or send them an email, telling them you want to check in late.

It is not a traditional hotel with a front desk. The owner of the House lives there and rents out rooms. The rooms are nice and clean. If you were to arrive at 1am, the owner might be sleeping, if he is not expecting a late arriving guest. For a late check in, I would suggest sending an email or calling before hand.

From the Grand Paradise business card:

For your flight that gets in at midnight, you could potentially stop at Pacos Club near the airport, choose a chica and take her to Grand Paradise.

If GranParadise doesn't work out and you just want a bed for the night you can go to La Fuente Cabanas. The cabanas are a five minute drive from SDQ. Leaving SDQ head towards BC. You will pass Parada Amarilla on the right and the new supermercado Ole on the left. Make the first U-turn and the cabanas are up this small street directly across the highway from Parada Amarilla. 2 minutes from Las Americas (SDQ) airport. The place has a swimming pool, a covered bar near the pool, dance platform with a stripper pole. I was there one Sunday night, 6-7 chicas, all doable. The owner speaks perfect English and is a pleasant guy. I don't know what hours they open and I didn't ask the prices.

If I get stuck at Las Americas Airport waiting for a flight with a long delay, I could take a motoconcho or a taxi from the airport to Pacos Club and spend an hour or say there, rather than waiting bored at the airport.

Post up driving directions if you don't mind.............Pacos is located on Las Americas highway below the elevated ramp that you take from the airport road to get on las americas highway to go towards Santo Domingo.

From the airport a motoconcho would go towards las americas highway and he would probably just drive under the elevated ramp, pacos club would be there on the north side of las americas, under the elevated ramp.

To get there driving your own car or taking a taxi from the airport, take the airport road toward las americas highway, you will see the elevated ramp to your left, don't take the ramp, instead go towards the right and make a right onto las americas in the direction of boca chica, get over to the left lane and make a U turn at the next opening in the cement barricade. After the U turn you will now be on las americas highway heading towards santo domingo, you will see the elevated ramp in front of you to the left, stay on las americas in the right lane, pacos is near some other bar and a colmado, just underneath the elevated ramp on las americas highway.

I posted some photos previously of the outside of pacos.

Oh NO, please don't compare these to the ones on San Isidro or 30 de Mayo, no neon lights and glamour here. LOL This is a very small local spot if you just wanted a place close to the airport to spend the night. The cabanas are very safe but not for the timid. The best room is around 1000 pesos. If you don't like driving at night this is the closest thing.

You would leave SDQ taking Las Americas heading towards Boca Chica and make the first U-Turn right after you see Ole Super Market. If you know where Parada Amarilla is the street is directly across the highway. There is a small dirt road and the cabanas are behind a sliding iron gate. Armed security guard all night.

Some casas will make up that money by charging the monger more.

Did you buy the local "guides" beers or food? How much time did they spend with you? I can just about guarantee that no matter how much money you may give them , they will probably complain that it is not enough.

With Boricua Online's SDQ google map, the need for a guide is usually not necessary.

Let us know more particulars and we can give you a better idea what you could pay them.

Most of those so called "guides" don't have jobs, so what ever money they get from you, they should be happy.

Most cabanas have different types of rooms, from basic rooms with bed, tv, bath to rooms with disco, pool or jacuzzi, love machine ect, just check for a room with the "magic chair".

Btw...I am going to be in Santo Domingo from July 15 to 19. It's my 19th trip to the city. I'll stay at Jaguar or Riazor. I noticed a huge $30 increase of taxes to Santo Domingo, half the cost of my fare is taxes.

I just booked my flight to SD and the anticipation is rising. Not the best flight times but i guess it will have to do. Here is my prelim itinerary:

Long Beach 7/15/10 9:22am arrives in SDQ 7/16/10 3:24am OUCH!! i know its a long flight (with 2 stops in TX and Fl) but that's all i could get will a free round trip fare.

I will be staying at the Hotel Riazor for 4 nights at a price of $58.00 per night. My only issue is, arriving this early in the morning i wont be able to check in till early to mid afternoon. Any suggestions on a short stay hotel close by? Or should i just book that Thursday i depart from Long B?

Friday, if im not to jet jagged i plan on hitting up a couple of sports bars in the area (Five Star International Sports Bar,La Base, Eagle bar in the Zona Oriental) and walk around a bit just to get a feel of SD. Later in the night i will start at the Jaragua Casino for some adult beverages and check out the trim roaming around and see if i cant pick up a chica or two. Also, i want to make a visit to Girls House and Sky House but i don't think i will pick up on chicas due to the cheaper prices on the streets n casinos.

Saturday, i definitely want to do some site seeing which i haven't gotten around to searching much on, but i hear (Botanical Gardens,Tres Ojos, Faro, Colonial Zone) are some good spots to start. If you guys have any other suggestions please feel free to enlighten me. Later in the night i will do the usual boozing in bars trying to find a date for the night, maybe La Prada Bar, Aurora and Tabu Bar to name a few. Again suggestions are welcome .

Sunday, a trip to Boca Chica (if the weather is nice) is on my list of "Things I Must Do". Quick question: Is boozes ok to bring to the beach or is that a no no? Then back to the SD nightlife, possibly Casa Teresa or Pasture 56.

Monday, just take it easy from the bender of a weekend and do some shopping and maybe more site seeing before i leave Tuesday 10:30am to come home.

Let me know what you guys think. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Doesn't look like you are renting a car. I have arrived into SDQ at around 5am a few times. You have to fill out some custom forms for the Dom Rep, they usually give them to you on airplane, have a pen with you. When you exit the airplane, you will walk down some stairs and then through a long hallway. You will get to the customs area, before you go through customs you will have to buy a $10 tourist card. After that you will get your passport stamped and then wait about 40 minutes for your luggage to arrive. There is a duty free shop near the baggage carousel where you can buy bottles of liquor and other duty free items.

After you have your luggage, you will walk past the rental car counters along a hallway, at 4:30am, I believe those counters will have no workers. If you are renting a car, there is an outside building that has workers for the rental car companies throughout the night.

You will eventually walk through some doors and you will see the exit for the outside of the airport, that area is the food court, with some metal barriers blocking part of the walkway for passengers getting ready to leave the airport. If you walk towards your right on the food court, you will see a bon ice cream shop, located adjacent to that shop are about 6 ATM machines. I usually always withdraw some pesos from a machine there, so that I have Dominican money from the get go. If you have a problem receiving money from the machines, start over and choose Spanish as your language, some machines keep your card until the transaction is finished, so try not to walk away while your card is still in the machine.

It will probably be close to 5am when you will be ready to leave the airport. There will probably be taxi guys there asking if you need a taxi. Confirm the price before you choose any taxi.

Without a car at 5am, with all your luggage, not sure where you can hang out. When I have arrived very early, (I always rent a car), sometimes I would head over to juan dolio and hang out there till 12pm, then head to santo domingo to my hotel. Other times, I drove to a casino, where a friend works, and then took her to a cabana at 6am, after she got off at work.

Your best bet might be to head over to a less expensive hotel in gazcue and rent a room. Hotel Navarro is 1500 pesos. Maison Gatreux about $45. If you pay 1500 pesos at the navarro, you could leave your luggage in the room and check out the street action, at 5am there may be a few street chicas still out. Bar 305 is 1/2 block from Navarro and you can enter bar 305 late.

Some of your info is dated. Sky house no longer exists, the owner of sky house opened Satin Club, which is in a house next door to where sky house used to be. I believe Tabu no longer exists.

Best deal in town is GBP. Bar 305 has the most chicas.

Jaragua Casino is expensive for drinks and the past 4 times I have been in there at night, no great chicas. The Jaragua is ok for a walk through, but I wouldn't drink there.

Eagle and La Base are fun, to see sexy waitresses. If you go there alone, you may be bored. Not sure on short trip, if it is really worth it to head over to those bars. If you want to see non-pro chicas, Acropolis Mall is good. Acropolis Mall has Hooters with sexy waitresses and other bars where non-pro chicas hang out. Plus there will be chicas who are justing visiting the mall to go shopping.

Baby Dolls and Foxys are near one another on the malecon, worth a stop in to see what chicas they have.

When you stay at Hotel Riazor you will be two blocks from Coppa Discoteca in the hotel melia, on the malecon. Coppa gets going late, but just about always there is some eye candy in coppa. Drinks in Coppa are cheaper than Jaragua Casino bar. Pros and Non-pros hang out in Coppa, as well as in the casino in the hotel melia at night.

Try not use the so called guides that will approach when you walk around SDQ. Never change money in the street in SDQ.

If you want to visit some place that is not close to hotel riazor, try to plan it so that you are not traveling during rush hour. Traffic in Santo Domingo during rush hour can be brutal.

There are numerous places near Riazor for chicas, the piano bar on Pasteur and a happy ending massage place on cervantes that is open during the day, as well as street chicas, bar 305, girl's house and satin club, coppa disco, hotel jaragua casino and la parada.

Any questions just ask.

Ouch! we paid almost the same, when I checked Jetblue page yesterday the 28.50 tax was not included, so it became effective today, at least from Puerto Rico.My last trip I got a jetblue ticket from New York to Santo Domingo for $49, one way. On that $49 ticket, the taxes and fees were $56 dollars. Usually the taxes and fees on a round-trip ticket are about $130 dollars. I knew a chica whose father was a colonel in the air force, that guy was driving around in a brand new Mitsubishi Montero. Part of the fees on airline tickets, goes to the Dominican Air Force.

From Dominican Today: "Dominican Republic is one of the region’s nations were an airfare to anywhere in the world cuts a deep hole in passengers’ pockets, as the tax slapped on a ticket’s real cost is as high as 52%. In the purchase of each ticket the flyer pays a tax for the Tourism Ministry, the Civil Aviation Institute, the Airport Security Corp, the Air Force, the Airports Department and the airports management company Aerodom. In addition to those fees collected by decree, each airfare also pays 16% ITBIS Tax and another levy for issuing the ticket."

And for all those fees paid, stuff still gets stolen from checked luggage at Dominican airports.

July is a good month to visit Santo Domingo, it is highly possible that Festival del merengue is celebrated the same date you travel, good chance to meet non pros in malecon area. I,ll be there from 15 to 19.

I never had problems checking in early in Santo Domingo if a room is available. If they do not early check in ,which I doubt, walk to hotel Navarro (see my map posted in this forum) and ask for a short term, 700 or 800 pesos.

You can drink on the streets,on the beach, on almost every place except monuments, churches.

Jaragua casino girls are pros but fun to negotiate with. Never pay upfront, have your room organized to have valuables protected before you take a chica to the room. Never drink somethink you left unattended for at least one second. Visit GBP. Visit Gran Paradise on your way to the beach, or visit Gran Paradise on your way from airport to the city will be a g0od start to your vacation to spend time before check in. Have fun.

Not to familiar with GBP, is this a Hotel/Bar?

If so. where in relevance to the Riazor is this place?

It is a bar with chicas, one hour specials: 1 chica 1000 pesos, 2 chicas 1500 pesos, it is $27 and $41 dollars respectively.

You have to hire a taxi or use your car from any hotel, not far from malecon area but as Jaosousa stated will be a pain to go in rush hour. Taxi should cost 150 pesos, always ask for price before even opening the taxi door.

You can be more productive Sunday by going to Acropolis Mall where eyecandy abounds. Non pro girls that are all approachable. Also on the ground level is a Hooters that have all friendly girls. About 6 blocks past Acropolis Mall on the opposite side of the street is a SuperMercado that is a target rich environment as well. I even found a bottle of Amarula in the liquor section WTF? My novia never had Amarula before and shes hooked on it (and on me as well)

There is also Monte Cristo which is a great club with plenty of non pro girls that are friendly and good to hang out with.

To me Boca Chica is a dump and better places exist to monger. Plus I like the paths less traveled for meeting chicas.

If so. where in relevance to the Riazor is this place? If you will be traveling with a laptop, it might be a good idea to save this link in your laptop (in an email or as a favorite/bookmark in a firefox, internet explorer or google chrome browser): http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&ie=UTF8&msid=106767774275556555984.00046d685b11334063b43&ll=18.467703,-69.898582&spn=0.009891,0.019248&z=16&mid=1246396605

Boricua Online has constructed this google map, with pin locations and descriptions of many points of interest for Santo Domingo, you can zoom in and out. You can look at the map before heading to SDQ, so that you have idea where the different venues are located.

I have given a detailed description of how to find GBP within the last five pages of this thread.

GBP is on the south side of Ave. 27 de Febrero, between Avenida Lincoln and Avenida Tiradentes. Take Avenida Lincoln to Avenida 27 de Febrero and make a right onto Avenida 27 de Febrero. GBP is in a building after Arismendy Motors, the building is called something Guidry, with round cutouts in the exterior wall, GBP is on the second floor, above the glass entrance door, there are neon lights saying "GBP", they open at 2pm and close around 10 or 11 pm.

Boricua Online offers good advice, some hotels allow early check in, if you have reservations at the hotel riazor, you can call them or send them an email asking them if you can check in early. Some hotels will allow you to drop off your luggage at the hotel and the hotel will put your luggage in a secure location, until the time that your room is ready. A small tip is usually always appreciated when workers bend the rules to accommodate a client.

If hotel riazor is unwilling to help you with early check in, again boricua online's advice is good, you can ask for a short term room at the hotel Navarro and pay about 800 pesos.

36 pesos to $1 US dollar. 800 pesos is about $22 US. 1000 pesos is $27 US. 2500 pesos is $69. Street chica prices are 1000 pesos and up. Casa chica prices are 2500 pesos and up.

Guys, thanks so much for the info you posted here. This is a huge help and with this being my first trip to DR I feel very comfortable about my surroundings. If anyone will be in Santo Domingo from July 15th-20th I will be more than happy to buy you a Cervesa in gratitude for the Intel.

Watnow78On a Friday or Saturday night, you may want to head over to Avenida Venezuela, on the other side of the river and just north of Las Americas. Avenida Venezuela has about 6 bars located within 4 blocks. Cool Bar, House Drink, La Barrica and Wao, among others. Probably not many tourists will be there.

From what I understand is that Taxi's get paid a fee for driving you to a Chica bar, which will inflate your fare higher than usual. I've read some where to have the taxi drop you off at an establishment close by then walk in. What's my best bet on keeping a reasonable taxi fare?

Watnow78From Hotel Riazor, you will not need to take a taxi to many casas. For GBP you will need to take a taxi, ask the taxi driver to take you to Arismendy Motors on Avenida 27 de Febrero, between Lincoln and Tiradentes. The building where GBP is located, is right across the street from Arismendy Motors (a car dealer). When you are ready to exit GBP ask one of the chicas or the bartender to call a taxi for you.

You can walk to zona colonial from Riazor and you can walk to Baby Dolls and Foxy's from the Riazor.

The other casas where you would need to take a taxi are casa azul and casa theresa, which are located near to one another. Cats and Pink Pony you would need to take a taxi. Some taxi drivers have a relationship with some casas and they will try to take you to those casas, when that happens it usually means the taxi driver is getting some money from the casa.

When you are at hotel riazor and you want to take a taxi to some place, ask the people at the front desk to call a taxi for you and then tell the taxi driver where you want to go, usually in such a situation that taxi driver will not expect a payment form the casa where he drops you off.

Anybody know of commuter airline that has decently priced flights to Puerto Plata from SDQ?No nonstop commercial flights btw the 2 cities. Only charters available like http://www.aircharterguide.com/Operator_Info/SERVICIOS_AEREOS_PROFESIONALES_S.A./904/SANTO_DOMINGO/979. Try Helidosa Helicopters http://touristic.helidosa.com/ if you want to absolutely fly. Otherwise you have the option of rent a car, bus ride, or rent a driver.

Taxi gets paid by casas, hotels or any other place that get business by being referred by them. I saw my driver receiving 100 pesos ($4 a few years ago) from hotel Conde de Penalba just for taking me there for a one day stay. You can being drop off to a nearby place but then the guys outside the place you plan to visit are going "to show you the place" and then they are going to receive the fee the taxi guy do not receive. You have to make clear to the house that you entered alone. Anyway, I am under the impression that they are going to charge you the "american rookie fee", lets see what happens.

What Boricua said plus with most of the casas outside of Gazcue, you don't want to be wandering around in the street at night. Just make it clkear to the ouse that you came in alone and didn't have any help.

Found It. Thanks! I won't be bringing a laptop with me but I have printed out various maps and locations of places I will be visiting (bars, clubs, places to eat, stores etc.) from the link above. I also have booked 5 nights at the Riazor just so I have a place to crash when I arrive 3:30am.Before you take your trip, you may want to go to the bank and get at least 50 one dollar bills. A small tip here there and you will usually get better service. Dominican paper money you will often receive will be 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000 pesos bills. Oftentimes I have no 50 peso bills, I will have some 100 pesos and higher bills. 100 pesos is $2. 77 US. A 100 peso tip oftentimes is too much. If you have 1 dollar bills with you, you can give a 1 or 2 dollar tip, depending on the situation. If you keep 20 or 30 one dollar bills in one pocket, you can easily reach into that pocket and feel for one or two bills, without having to take all your money out of your pocket and expose it.

You can tip the guy who brings your luggage to your hotel room, or people at the front desk if they call taxis for you, or chicas in casas who may dance for you and who may give you a quick lap dance. A small tip, one or two dollars is usually appreciated.

Some businesses in Dom Rep have trouble giving change for a 1, 000 bill. Some taxi drivers may not have change for a 1000 peso bill. I usually withdraw money from an ATM machine located inside a casino and then walk over to the cashier at the casino and ask her to change one or two 1000 pesos bills for 100 pesos bills.

Some restaurants will compute the bill in Pesos, U. S, Dollars and Euros, in those restaurants you have the choice to pay in those three currencies, any change you may receive will be in pesos.

I have few questions on filming and taking pictures of Chicas. Some of the pictures I've seen here look like they have been taking from the inside of the establishments. Is this allowed? I plan on bringing a digital camera and a handicam to film while I'm venturing out during the day and possibly at night. Is this safe to do?

Also, how do Chicas take it if I were to snap shots of them on the streets, in my hotel room, etc? Do they require extra pesos for this?

Hi guys,

I'm new here but have been active on the World Sex Guide forums for quite a while. I just discovered this place the other day when looking for info on the DR.

I'm not sure what the rules for crossposting is - so if it is taboo, please tell.

Here is a report I just wrote on last nights events:

Went to Bar 360 in the Zona Colonial (Arcobispo Meriño) last night - what a dive!

From the outside it looked like one of those places where you either find pussy or get stabbed but the fact that it was right next to an obvious pay-by-the-hour hotel gave me hope that it would be the former and not the latter.

Inside the tiny bar were two girls. It was around 9 pm on a Sunday so I reckon there is a chance that normally there is more girls around. One was a 5 the other a 6. I wasn't overly keen on either, so I started negotiating with half a mind set on walking away.

The bartender originally quoted my a prince of 3000 RD$ or 100 US. I laughed at this, not only becaus ethe exchange rate is actually 3600 RD$ but because I thought it was ludicrous. In the end we settled on 2000 RD$ for one hour. I know, I know, still too much but I wasn't in the mood to bargain hard.

I know enough spanish for small talk etc. as long as people speak slowly.

We went to the fuck-me hotel next door and unfortunately the hotel was pretty much the nicest thing about the experience. It was surprisingly clean - even the towels.

Once the girl was naked I mentally downgraded her from a 6 to a 5. And unfortunately she wasn't very enthusiastic either - but definitely in a hurry. After I shot my first load - and once I was ready to go another round (it has been a long time) she said "one hour, one time". And she wanted another 1000 for the second time.

Apparently, unlike in the CR and Thailand this is something you have to negotiate in DR. Well, you live and learn and I know when I've had enough, so after trying to argue the point for a while I decided to call it a day and left.

I just realized there is a Hooters's in Santo Domingo.

I have never seen it. Does anyone know where it is relative to the Colonial Zone or the Melacon?Hooters is in Plaza Acropolis, which is on Avenida Churchill, about 7 blocks north of Avenida 27 de Febrero. South of Avenida 27 de Febrero, Avenida Churchill is known as Ave Enrique Jimenez Moya. There is a large parking garage at the Acropolis Mall. There are also two bars that sit at the top of the steps that face Churchill. Those two bars get packed some nights.

Plaza Acropolis is pinned on Boricua Online's SDQ Google map.

From Zona Colonial you can take Avenida Bolivar or the Malecon, west to Ave Enrique Jimenez Moya (which some people call Churchill, south of Avenida 27 de Febrero) and make a right on Ave Enrique Jimenez Moya and go north, you will see plaza acrpolis on the right hand side of Churchill, about 7 blocks north of ave 27 de febrero.

Found It. Thanks! I won't be bringing a laptop with me but I have printed out various maps and locations of places I will be visiting (bars, clubs, places to eat, stores etc.) from the link above. I also have booked 5 nights at the Riazor just so I have a place to crash when I arrive 3:30am.
When you arrive at 3:30am there should still be a few SW on Avenida Independencia. You will probably find a few within a block of Riazor.

Here are a couple of links to help with your sightseeing.

Watnow78

Some places allow picture taking, some do not.

Negotiate everything before taking a chica to your room, including picture taking, spend your time knowing the chica.

It is on the ground floor in the Mall Acropolis on Churchill. About 150-200P taxi from Gazcue/Zona Colonial. Also a TGIF there.

did you meet the canadian guy who owns the place? i was in 360 one time with mr gogo and there were a few cute chicas. i have been in there two or three times after that and didn't see anything i liked.

i thought the hotel they use was above the bar 360. there is a nice looking hotel across the street. one male bartender in bar 360, i really don't like, obnoxious young dominican guy.

go to bar 305 or satin or girl's house. satin has one chica with big firm titties (in satin you can take a chica to the second floor to get to know her better). i saw another chica in girl's house during the afternoon, she had on a white tank t-shirt with no bra, titties looked good.

bar 305 has a big selection of chicas, late at night walk up to the gate and they will let you in. you will walk to the back yard where there is a bar and you can see where the chicas live. if you need to [CodeWord111] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord111), you will probably have to enter a chica's room to use the bathroom.

cats in naco can be fun. club mc, penthouse and pink pony can be fun.

hi guys,

i'm new here but have been active on the world sex guide forums for quite a while. i just discovered this place the other day when looking for info on the dr.

i'm not sure what the rules for crossposting is - so if it is taboo, please tell.

here is a report i just wrote on last nights events:

went to bar 360 in the zona colonial (arcobispo meriño) last night - what a dive!

from the outside it looked like one of those places where you either find pussy or get stabbed but the fact that it was right next to an obvious pay-by-the-hour hotel gave me hope that it would be the former and not the latter.

inside the tiny bar were two girls. it was around 9 pm on a sunday so i reckon there is a chance that normally there is more girls around. one was a 5 the other a 6. i wasn't overly keen on either, so i started negotiating with half a mind set on walking away.

the bartender originally quoted my a prince of 3000 rd$ or 100 us. i laughed at this, not only becaus ethe exchange rate is actually 3600 rd$ but because i thought it was ludicrous. in the end we settled on 2000 rd$ for one hour. i know, i know, still too much but i wasn't in the mood to bargain hard.

i know enough spanish for small talk etc. as long as people speak slowly.

we went to the fuck-me hotel next door and unfortunately the hotel was pretty much the nicest thing about the experience. it was surprisingly clean - even the towels.

once the girl was naked i mentally downgraded her from a 6 to a 5. and unfortunately she wasn't very enthusiastic either - but definitely in a hurry. after i shot my first load - and once i was ready to go another round (it has been a long time) she said "one hour, one time". and she wanted another 1000 for the second time.

apparently, unlike in the cr and thailand this is something you have to negotiate in dr. well, you live and learn and i know when i've had enough, so after trying to argue the point for a while i decided to call it a day and left.

I've had some problems finding casas that are open in the afternoon. Personally I think fucking some hot chick in an A/C room around 3 pm is the best way to escape the heat. But the casas I went to last Saturday (around the Jaruga hotel) were closed. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Welcome......... Nothing is taboo, all is good as long as you don't talk about anything illegal.

Bar 360 has not received any favorable reviews except from friends and family of the owner. LOL I went to Bar 360 several months ago just after it first opened and swore I would never return.

........The bartender originally quoted my a prince of 3000 RD$ or 100 US. I laughed at this,........
I don't blame you. I would have laughed in his face also. That is crazy. Bar 360 probably gets a few uneducated guys staying on El Conde who will pay 3000 pesos. Hopefully no one reading this board will be that foolish.

.......In the end we settled on 2000 RD$ for one hour. I know, I know, still too much but I wasn't in the mood to bargain hard....... I expect to negotiate with a chica but not go back and forth with the bar owner on the chica fee. Even though the owner dropped the price to 2k pesos it is still no bargain.

So far I have not found a better bargain casa than GBP. With their current special of 2 chicas for 1500 peosos you can't beat that. A taxi would be 300 pesos round trip. So for 1800 pesos, maybe a couple hundred pesos propina you can get a much better deal.

Back from SD, It was an overall good expirienced. I did a little bit of sightseing, not much though. I went to a few casas; three on pasteur and independencia. The girl house had consistently better loking girls, 2,500k for domenicans and 6k for the brazileras. 305 was also good. they have the most girls; Girls at this house were nicer and really friendly, price was 3,500. Also went to casa teresa and found a sexy big booty blonde. She was the only girl I wanted to see again. I went back to the casa but was not there that night. If anybody goes to casa teresa I apreciate if you could get her info. She is a tall, thick, big booty blonde you cannot miss her. for big booty lovers I recomend casa teresa, 305 has a couple big ass girls,at baby dolls a big booty dark skin puerto rican with a cute face. if anybody needs a reliable taxi driver I met a couple good ones. fell free to private message me.

Good post. There is also the piano bar on Pasteur less than one block up from Independencia. Chicas move around, so it can be difficult to find the same chica in the same casa. I saw chicas who used to work in casa teresa and sky house now working at 305. If I stop in casa teresa, I'll try to get the intel on the big booty blonde.

I saw one chica in 305 one night, I returned two other nights looking for that chica and I didn't find her.

Thanks!Pink Pony at #6 Avenida Nunez Caceres, from their business card says they are open 24/7, their card also says:"a partir de las 10:00am", you can give them a call or head over there early and see the inventory. If it is early in the day, I would call first, because it is about a 15 minute drive from Gazcue, their phone numbers: tel.: 809-476-9761, cell: 809-856-2717.

On one Saturday afternoon I hung out with Greek Niko and Thirdcoast. I met them at Bar 305 at around 1pm. The inside bar at 305 will be closed early, but we went to the back yard where there is a bar and there were some chicas available. From there we walked over to Girl's House, it was around 1:30pm on a Saturday. We walked into Girl's House and maybe one or two girls were lounging inside, but after two minutes, 4-5 more chicas came to area near the entrance. GBP opens around 2pm, but it might be closed on Sunday. Baby Dolls usually opens early. Casa Azul you could probably show up in the early afternoon and have the chicas woken up from their slumber (open the outside gate yourself and enter, usually a worker is around and the chicas will come out of their rooms to see a potential client). 305, girl's house, baby dolls, pink pony, the chicas live on site, so there are always chicas there.

We went into Satin Club that Saturday afternoon around 1:35pm and it was empty except for the attractive, Dominican woman owner of the place. She spoke English and gave us a tour, she was very nice (Satin is all new inside).

Pacos in Zona Colonial, on el conde, sometimes has pros hanging out early in the day.

When I have stopped in casas early, usually the chicas are just waking up and many will still have the hair net thing on their heads and they will be in pajamas or other clothes for lounging. Some chicas who work at Foxys live in the Hotel Navarro and sometimes they lounge around near the lobby of that hotel during the day, you might want to take a stroll into Hotel Navarro in the afternoon, drink a beer at the bar and possibly strike up a conversation with one of the chicas from Foxys and see if she is available.

There is a happy ending massage place on Calle Cervantes, one block up from Independencia, it is located next door to a super market called La Despensa, it is on the same side of the street as the super market and is the building just before the super market. From the outside it looks like a legitimate massage place, but they offer happy endings for a higher price, something like 1200 or 1300 pesos. They are open throughout the day. Calle Cervantes is one block west of Pasteur (PLD party Headquarters is on the corner of cervantes and Independencia).

Here ya go! I'm wondering if you can take these HOOTER girls with back to your hotel.

http://foursquare.com/venue/1409951If you look like Brad Pitt and have money like Bill Gates, your odds of taking a Hooters chica out are greatly improved, LOL. There are some rich, young, good looking dudes in Santo Domingo, so there is competition for the more attractive chicas. If a hooters chica is nice to you and you have some chemistry with a chica, ask her for cell number and email address (many chicas are hesitant about giving out their cell phone numbers in a public location, surrounded by other people, oftentimes such transfers of numbers has to be done on the down low), stay in contact with her and on a future trip, you could potentially take her out on a date. Each chica in the world is different, some waitresses may be more available than others, take it on a case by case basis. Be polite and respectful and anything is possible.

Thanks! When I was in Casa de Modelos, I was told by one of the workers that Casa de Modelos is open 24/7. Casa de Modelos is located somewhat close to the hilton hotel and the malecon center.

At night there will be numerous street walkers on Independencia. You could stop and talk with them and ask them if they are available in the afternoons. If they say yes, get their cell phone numbers. With that scenario, you may have to pay for their transportation, for them to come and visit you, the next day in the afternoon. There are also numerous street walkers who hang out at night on the malecon near the Isla gas station, past the hilton hotel, heading west on the malecon.

You can buy a new celular phone, with 100 pesos in minutes at a Claro shop for 500 pesos, less than $14 US dollars.

Other pros hang out in the Jaragua Casino, Melia Casino and Coppa disco. I have been approached a few times while I was standing in front of the V Centenario hotel.

Any casas you may visit in the nighttime, you could ask if they have any chicas available in the afternoons.

Thanks Jaosousa.

This is extremely helpful.Estas disponible (dis poo nee blay) manana en la tarde, como a las tres = Are you available tomorrow in the afternoon, around 3.

Keep in mind, when making an appointment with many Dominican chicas, time is relative. For most Dominican chicas, if I want to meet them at 3pm, I will usually tell them to be at place at 2pm. More than likely for a 2pm appointment with me, they will usually show up around 3:30pm or later. I try to choose a location where I can be comfortable while I wait. In front V Centenario Hotel can be good meeting spot near Gazcue, the lobby is open to the public and has a nice bar and nice coffee cafe place, where you can have a drink while you wait. V Centenario in Spanish is pronounced something like Keen tay Centenario.

For Zona Colonial, you can meet at Pacos or where I usually like is the Hard Rock Cafe. Depends upon the chica, depends how good your Spanish is in describing a location to meet, will determine a good meeting spot.

Traffic in Santo Domingo can be terrible, so it is understandable when chicas are late. Always have back up plans, other phone numbers of other chicas, some chicas may completely blow off an appointment, so it is good to have other chicas you can call, if some chica doesn't show up.

Two pics of GBP, a few of a new place opening soon in Santo Ectasy Night club, location not mentioned, they will provide massage, escort and stripper services.

This puertorican duo recorded this song in Santo Domingo , a mix of reggaeton, bachata and merengue I love to listen before every trip, there is a phrase that describes what we do in SDQ, "venimos a parisear y no a dormir" (we came to party and not to sleep). In fact, I remember this song every time I read a Jaosousa day report that begins early pm and ends late am,next day! lol.

Jao,
Modelos is actually real close to the bomba Isla off the Malecon. Walking from the Isla, go east on Independecia and make your first right. It is two blocks up on the NW corner. Surrounded by a high concrete wall. There are always people hanging on the street corner there. Driving you can go down the Malecon to Alma Mater go right one block to Independencia and then go left at the street after the strip mall. At night, you can park directly across the street from the Casa.

Went out again last night. This time I went to "Bar 305" on Av. Independencia first. I was slightly surprised that the taxi driver didn't know the place but in the end we made it there.

It was about 9 pm and the place was still pretty quiet. All in all only five or six girls but all of the pretty cute. At first a really tall girl approached me and to be honest she was so tall that I had some doubts about her being a girl at all.

Anyhow, I'm more into petite girls so I asked someone else to join me. She was 100% my type and very eager, but imagine my disapointment when I found out that there are no rooms on 305! I didn't want to take anyone back to my hotel so this was an issue. And since she didn't suggest any alternative I reluctantly had to leave.

My next stop was the "Girl House" just around the corner. What looks like a really small place from the from is really big once you are inside.

There were about 20 girls there. Something for each taste and I actually had some difficulties deciding.

In the end I chose Candy. And how could I not, having grown up with "Highlander" and the immortal dialogue "Hi. I'm Candy. " "Of course you are". Sadly she didn't know the movie but that was the smallest problem. She was 24, from the DR, petite and had a really nice skin. I would rate her a 7.

While the Girl House doesn't have any rooms on site, she suggested we go to the little hotel next door. For 20 USD I was happy to do that (why didn't the first girl suggest that? Duh!).

Once in the room, it was really disapointing. I have gotten more pleasure out of my hand! And even though we had agreed on two hours she was eager to leave after 45 min. "Tengo hambre! " Yeah, right and how is that my problem.

There was also no BBBJ, no kissing, no fingering. And she was being surly. So in the end we left after 75 minutes of not very much fun. I simply didn't want to spend any more time in her company.

And believe it or not. She actually asked me for a tip!

Anyhow. This was my second night mongering in SD and neither was a good experience. Maybe I should just stick to Asia and Eastern Europe.

Bella is synonym of bonita, linda, preciosa, hermosa, all used to describe a pretty woman. Bella is the real word, becha is a pronunciation influenced by italian culture. People from Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay tends to pronounce the same words with that italian accent, these countries have some italian heritage. I suppose italians boyfriends and tourists have influenced in some chicas. Becha can also be part of the street language.

Do not confuse bella with "bellaca" which means horny girl, lol.

Weird, with 305 only having 5 chicas. I would guess there are probably 30 chicas who live in that place. Across the street from 305 and to the left is the hotel navarro which rents out rooms for a short term.

Go to GBP, 1000 pesos for one chica or two chicas for 1500, I doubt you will be disappointed there. Rooms on site.

If you return to 305 check out the bar in the outside back part of the property, some chicas hang out there as well.

Go to GBP or Australia, there are good reports about Modelos (I have never been there), almost every place is better than Girls House.

The last time I went to Girls House I did the little interview I always do, no one was into kissing, bbbj or any other thing that is part of the gfe so I left the place. I talked to 5 girls, no one even suggested a girl that is into the gfe.
The guy should go back to Girl's House and complain and see what the manager does, if the manager of Girl's House makes no attempt to make things right, then there should a boycott of Girl's House.

This can't be how it is!

I'll be there in 20days and hope i have abit more excitment than you've had. I really don't want to be disapointed when I arrive, any tips you can suggest for a more full filling trip?

How about street girls? Have you experienced that?

Watnow78There are many pros in Santo Domingo and many casas in Santo Domingo. Boricua Online offers good advice, spend some time with a chica and discuss what she will or will not do, before you take her out.

If a chica promises 2 hours and exits after 45 minutes, I would go back to the casa and complain. If the owner or the manager of a particular casa makes no effort to make things right, then mongers should post that info and that particular casa will not be recommended on this board.

Money talks in Dom Rep, if a casa gets a bad rep and the owners start to lose money, I would guess the owners would make some effort to correct the situation.

I have never taken a chica out of Girl's house, I have probably been in Girl's House about 5 times. The chica I took from 305, I had no complaints with her, she certainly did not exit before two hours.

GBP has consistently gotten good reviews. The guys I know who had chicas at casa azul had no complaints. I had fun at Grand Paradise massage center.

Don't let some bad apples, spoil your vacation.

Most of the girls on Independecia work or have worked in the casas, you can get a short time for 1,500. Feel free to talk to the girls openly in the street and make your deals.

There was one girl, I always look for her, Angela long blond braided hair, very light skinned flacita from San Cristobal. This girls sucked everything including fingers and toes, she even tossed my salad. Needless to say I didn't want to kiss her but she was very good. Spent 3 hours with her gave her 500 tip and sent her on her way.

Ran into her outside the hotel Navaro. Every time I'm out late I look for her, but yet to have run into her.

Have had numerous experiences with the street girls, one hottie (don't recall the name) offered what she called the best BJ for 700 but it was only OK. She tried but would not go all the way down. I wound up fucking her and paid a total of 1500, one thing she kept doing which I liked was dipping my cock in the presidente then sucking it clean.

The last time I sucked a street girls tittie (I will not do this ever again) the girl was lactating, yukk. I spit it out, but HIV is transmitted very easily in breast milk. I've been tested since but am still nervous.

All in all, the street girls are pretty good, I don't go for the ones that are too made up I like the more natural looking girls. Less of a surpise when you get them back to the cabañas.

This trip I'm looking for the cabañas with the sex chairs, I wan't a little BDSM with one of these girls.

I agree about the chicas on avenida independencia. Like you say you got to chat with them for a bit first. Still no guarantee but your chances of having a good time are a lot better. Another good spot on independencia is the colmado across from Navarro. I grab a seat, get a Prez or some brugal and just wait for the chicas to come and go.

I've had good luck with the chicas in the street and never had to pay more than 1000P por un rato. I've had nights where none of them were doable and other nights there were some gems.

Also, while I have no first hand experience, I thought 305 had rooms in the back in the garden. A couple of times when I was sitting back there, I saw girls go into those doors on the east side with gringos. I just tool it for granted they were short time rooms.

A cousin travelled to Santo Domingo 3 years ago with his best friend. He went to Merengue Bar inside Jaragua casino to listen to the live merengue show and to watch the pretty girls that sing and dance there. The show ends and the girls were sitting in a corner of the casino, talking to each other. My cousin went to where the girls are and they had a little chat and exchanged numbers. Next day my cousin and his friend went to Boca Chica and spent the day in the beach. They returned to the Merengue Bar by night and on a break in the show the girls went to say hi to my cousin and friend. They asked my cousin what he do during the day and he said "we went to the beach". The girls said: "Why you did not call us, we were bored all day! So, before you ask: "Can I have one of these girls?" ,the answer is that depends of you.

She may be your thousand-peso love machine for that hour, but she still deserves respect as a fellow human being.

I love looking at sexy chicas' photos as much as any man, but I will not share a chica's photo anywhere on the Internet without having asked & gotten her assent.

And I feel a bit conflicted about that, today, for I got some "very interesting" underwater photos in Blackbeard's pool last weekend with my diving camera. Only problem is that I failed to get the chicas' permission to share them. I might be able to get away with it, because they keep their heads above water and therefore you can't see their faces; but I can't do so in any conscience.

(I will be sending a few of them down to Barba Negra, so maybe they'll show up in future newsletters!)

Hotel Europa? Where is that located and is it chica friendly.

Most guys seem to like Hotel Riazor especially for newbies to Santo Domingo. Riazor would be 5 or so blocks west of Duque de Wellington on Independencia.

Other hotels to consider are Jaguar, Venezia, Mercure, Palacio, Roma, Gautreaux, and there are more. Since this is not your first trip to SD what area would you prefer to stay in?

Good list.

I stayed one night at the Hodelpa Caribe Colonial, in the zona colonial. I don't know if it is chica friendly. Good location around the corner from the Hard Rock cafe. I probably would not stay at the Hodelpa Caribe Colonial again, $100 per night, small room, no view, Air Conditioning was not cold. There was an O.K. breakfast buffet included in that price.

Across the street from the Hodelpa Caribe Colonial is the hotel colonial, small hotel, the front desk is located on the second floor. Friendly guy at the front desk showed me one room, the room looked O.K., price was about $50 per night. Appears to me it is chica friendly.

I stopped in Hotel Roma about three months ago and was quoted $45 a night. The rooms are large and very nice. Only thing I did not like was walking two long flights of steps to get to the second floor and the hotel just felt weird to me. During the day the hotel is great for being right at El Conde but after dark you are isolated from everything. At night there is nothing within a few minutes walk.

For $RD1500 Hotel Venezia is in a much better location. I also believe Hotel Maison Gautreaux has rooms in this same price range.

I stayed in room 104 at the maison gatreux, I checked in with a chica, the price was 2000 pesos. If you check in alone the price will be less.

The mattress in room 104 was new and firm. The air conditioner made the room cold. Small room, not luxurious. Bit of a bug spray smell in the morning.

Location of Venezia is good, on Independencia a few blocks over from Pasteur.

Location of Maison gatreux is good, less than a half a block from the Malecon and the Intercontinental V Centenario Hotel.

Yea, that's the one. I was on one of those hotel comparison sites, and this was a reasonably priced hotel that seemed close to the action. Of course, ISG is where I go for all my real opinions and travel tips!I have not stayed at Hotel Europa in Zona Colonial. I don't know if it is chica friendly. Hotel Europa does show up on some of the bigger travel sites like expedia and Orbitz.

Orbitz has a coupon code that will take $200 US Dollars off a a 7 night or more air and hotel package.

A friend of mine asked me to look for a air/hotel package for the south coast of DR. Price of airfare was high in August, but airfares dropped in price by $100 or more flying into SDQ, in September and October.

When I searched for an air/hotel package about a week ago, I saw American Airlines had direct non-stop flights from New York, JFK to SDQ, for $303 round-trip, for September departures. I found an air/hotel package for my friend, flying into sdq (non-stop) from JFK, staying at the all inclusive Catalonia Gran Dominicus in Bayahibe, 7 nights, for $496 US per person (air, hotel and food). I had used the promotion code 200entertain on Orbitz and it took $200 off the total trip price.

Orbitz has Hotel Europa. I priced a 7 night stay at the Europa including airfare, leaving from JFK and got a price of $628 in October. If you were to purchase the airline tickets separately the ticket prices would be $391 for the dates I chose. Doing the package deal using the promo code ($628-$391=$237), the hotel europa would cost $237 for 7 nights or $33 per night (booking separately the hotel europa wants $80 per night).

I usually put different dates in the search box and see what dates have the lowest airfares. If you choose dates where the airfare is lower, the package price will be lower.

Orbitz offers air/hotel packages for several chica friendly hotels in Santo Domingo; Napolitano, BQ Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, Occidental El Embajador. I don't know if Europa is chica friendly.

For a guy traveling with a wingman the per person rates will be less.

For a guy who may want to stay in Santo Domingo for 7 or more nights, using the Orbitz promo code, might be a way to save some money.

If you will be traveling for less than 7 nights, there are various coupon/promo codes that can be used to save some money if you use Expedia, Orbitz or hotels.com.

Flights into the DR are hightest from mid June to Labor Day and around Christmas time. Right after Labor Day prices drop. September/October is hurricane season which is why I believe the prices drop.

You should send Hotel Europa an email regarding their guest policy. If they respond in a positve way just bring a copy of the email with you. Even with a copy the hotel can always change their mind at any moment.

I think Napolitano is guest friendly but with a fee. If you plan on bringing in multiple chicas the hotel fee may not justify the savings. I will also go so far as to say none of the hotels you mention will permit a happy hour. I always stick with the $50/60 a night multiple chica friendly hotels.

Boricua Online, I believe went to his room in the Napolitano with two chicas and his wingman. I never had problems bringing in chicas to the El Embajador. BQ Hotel, I have read is chica friendly.

I didn't do a happy hour at the El Embajador, so I can't say whether two chicas would be allowed into the room at the same time, but my guess if they look half way presentable, it shouldn't be a problem (best pool I have used in Santo Domingo is at the Embajador and street chicas can be found on Avenida Sarasota near the embajador and BQ hotel).

Some hotels will observe how the chicas act and dress. I brought two chicas up to my room at the Hodelpa Centro Plaza in Santiago, I didn't stop at the front desk. If chicas look hardcore, some hotels may break balls about allowing two or more hardcore looking chicas into the room. Usually during the day many hotels are more lax with their security, late at night they tighten things up.

BQ hotel and el embajador are a little far from the action. The rooms at the Napolitano have not gotten great reviews. But Napolitano does have a pool and it is within walking distance of Pasteur and Independencia.

Hotel Europa is in zona colonial, which is nice during the day and the early evening. Late at night it is lonely if you walk around in the zona colonial. But any hotel in zona colonial can call a taxi for a guest no matter what time it is and no traffic late at night.

Hotel Mercure I have read is chica friendly, but I have read there is a fee to bring in a chica. Mercure as of today, I checked Orbitz, is the cheapest hotel with an air/hotel package, around $605 (September), with the airline tickets costing $391, (605-391=214), $214 for the hotel for 7 nights, is about $30 per night at the Mercure, if you do the package deal from New York. $30 per night is not bad.

BQ Ribs offers great advice, contact the hotel and ask them about their guest policy and make a copy of whatever response you get.

Perhaps other members have stayed at the Mercure, BQ Hotel, Courtyard, Europa and can give us information regarding guest policy at those hotels.

I brought groups of chicas into the Palacio during the day (at least 6 chicas one day, some alone, and one group of three chicas) with no extra guest fee. Another member has told me that the Palacio now charges a guest a fee if you bring in a chica after 9pm. Room 117 at the Palacio is awful. All the other rooms I used there were good.

Venezia wanted to charge you a guest fee one time. Jaguar is multiple chica friendly. How was Carey House and Hotel Roma for multiple chicas visits? Hotel Navarro appears to be multiple chicas friendly.

I have brought chicas into Venezia morning, noon, and night. The desk will take their cedula and that is it.

I have no problem with bringing in 2 chicas at Jaguar, Carey House, or Venezia. I never stayed at Roma. I only looked at the rooms at Roma and asked the rate. I don't know exactly what it is but that place felt creepy to me.

Yes, and it was one of my best Santo Domingo nights ever, with 2 Casa Azul chicas and cousin K. Rooms were recently remodeled about a year ago so they were nice, they are smaller than a standard room in a major hotel but confortable. The only thing I did not like is that a/c was not as cold as lets say El Jaragua, I love to have my room the coldest possible.

Mercure $17 guest policy and the fact that they are away from were the action actually is has made me not to reserve there again.

BQ has some nice rooms with a jacuzzi terrace if you are into it. good for couples.

How are the rooms at the Navarro? Looks to me it is a two story building. Do the windows have heavy bars on the outside to block thieves? Do the rooms have a safe?

Getting a room on the second or third floor, you have to be aware that thieves may try to come through a window. Sliding balcony doors are another potential entry point for thieves.

On Orbitz Hotel Europa shows up twice in the search results with about a $200 dollar difference in price in the two listings, weird.

Nice thing about staying at the Jaguar or the Riazor is that you can walk the chicas back to your room, if you choose a street chica on Independencia or a chica from 305 or Satin. Staying at the Napolitano, it would be a long walk with a chica, it would be best to take a taxi. Napolitano is closer to Foxys and Baby Dolls. Napolitano has Mint disco which gets crowded some nights. There used to be a bar with chicas on the side street off the Malecon, where Napolitano is located, not sure if it is open now.

For a newbie to Santo Domingo, Riazor might be the best choice, easy to find, well lit up at night, near several pay for play venues.

I agree Riazor is probably the best hotel for a SD newbie. La Casana Dorada is also in a good location but I don't know what is going on at that hotel. There is a small amount of construction going on now. It would be nice if they would reopen the bar and get new management. A few years ago La Casana Dorada was nice but for some reason the hotel made a turn for the worse.

The hotel room will be about $69 per night.

For those dates leaving from Newark airport, with the $200 off promo applied, the package prices: Mercure: $627; Europa Hotel Boutique:$650; BQ Hotel:$856; Melia:$864; Embajador:$933.

The coupon code can help you get a good deal at an all inclusive hotel. The all inclusive hotels in Dom Rep are exempt from the 26% taxes, so their per night rate, which includes all you eat food and beverages are good deals, when you travel in the off season of September, October and other months.

Midweek departures on some airlines the rates are better.

My guess is that the airfares will come down for September and October. $391 is a little high. A few weeks ago American had $303 for September.

Jetblue has many flights to SDQ from New York, JFK and Jetblue usually always discounts some of those flights.

No safes in all the rooms and the metal bars outside the windows/balconies that are old, thin and easily broken, allowing thieves to easily enter a monger's room and steal everything. No cameras outside and no watchieman (security guard) outside patrolling near the street, at night.

Good location.

How much could it cost to install safes in all the rooms?

If a monger travels with anything of value, digital camera, laptop, ipod etc., that monger is taking a chance if he stays at la casona dorada, that his stuff will not be there, when he returns to his room.

If a monger travels only with clothes and nothing of great importance or value, then la casona dorada could be a good choice. Using the hotels lock box located in the office of the hotel is an option. I generally prefer to have my passport, money and credit cards close to me, locked in a safe in my room, where I can have access to them, whenever I want. Having a passport, credit cards or cash locked in a safe in the office of a hotel, could be a problem, maybe the manager on duty late at night doesn't have access to that safe. If numerous people have access to that safe, could be a problem if something goes missing, determening who may have absconded with items of value.

Be aware of the large rats that hang out under the parked cars in the small parking lot of la casona dorada. The restaurant on the second floor at that hotel, a little dirty. The section of the hotel to the left when you enter, has very narrow hallways.

If La Casona Dorada spent some money, it could be a good hotel. Replace the metal bars on the outside of the windows and balconies. Install safes in every room. Install outside lighting for all parts of the exterior of the hotel.

I would like to see La Casona Dorada Hotel do well. In a country with many thieves, a hotel has to do something to protect their guests from getting robbed. At the very least, having in room safes in every room is the minimum. Think about it, labor is cheap in DR, an in room safe maybe costs a few hundred dollars, if a medium sized hotel in a popular neighborhood in a big city can't afford a few hundred dollars, that is a major red flag.

So Casana Dorada will not have the bar anymore? I remember a short while back they were trying to have entertainment there but I don't think it went over well. I stayed there twice a few years ago and it was OK. Some of the rooms were so tiny you could lay in bed and touch all four walls. Maybe after the renovations they will get their shit back together cause I really like the location.

The colmado may be grossly overpriced as you put it but if you just buying Presidentes and Brugal it doesn't matter. I once asked a SDQ Dominicana about prices. She told me that being a Gringo, I would pay three times the normal price, when buying stuff in Colmados.

55 pesos for a large presidentes seems about right.

La Despensa is a supermarket one block up from Ave. Independencia and one block west from Ave. Pasteur. Nice thing about shopping in the Supermarket is that the prices are all visible, no mystery gringo tax as may happen in a colmado.

When I want to stock the frig and cabinets there are three places I will go. The first, and easiest, is La Cadena on Cervantes. One block up from Independencia where the purple PLD building is. It is a very small supermarket but pretty well stocked. This place is good to walk to.

Second spot you need to take a publico on Avenida Bolivar to Maximo Gomez. On Gomez is a medium sized Supermercado Nacional. This store is a decent size with a little better variety than La Cadena. Once finished shopping walk a couple of blocks to Avenida Independencia and take a publico back to your hotel.

Third place, but you need a car, is Supermercado Nacional on Avenida Lincoln at 27 de Febrero. This supermarket is huge and has everything you could ever need. They also have a very nice hot buffet food section where you can eat on premises. This by far is my favorite. Another good thing about this market is you can stop by GBP on the way back to your hotel. Provided you didn't buy any frozen goods.

When it is really hot and you buy an ice cream cone to eat outside, you have eat it fast, it will melt rapidly.

The first thing I do after check in is going to La Cadena. I buy some munchies and items that stock the minibar. A small 12 0z. Presidente can cost from 100 (Riazor) to near 200 pesos (Jaragua) on minibars, I usually buy a six pack and substitute minibar beer with Supermarket beer which cost approx 40 pesos per unit, a savings of 60 pesos. At check out there is no minibar charges. I also hide items hard to substitute as for example the liquor mini bottles, chicas love to drink them.

Red wine can get me whacked (especially at a good all inclusive hotel in DR, where it is all you can drink). Chilean reds are good and are available in DR, Casillero del diablo, Frontera.

The guy I was sharing the apartment with ordered booze from some liquor store in Gazcue. On the receipt among the items, one 1000ml bottle of Baileys for something like 750 pesos. I looked at the bottle he received and it was a 750ml bottle. I told him that I bought a 750ml bottle of Baileys at La Cadena Super Market (calle cervantes one block up from Independencia) for around 480 pesos.

When I went to the Super Mercado Nacional on Lincoln and ave 27 de Febrero, I parked my car on the street using one of the perpendicular parking spots they have there. Does that Super Market have underground parking and would the entrance for that parking garage be on Lincoln?

Thanks

The hotel is a magnet for street hookers and touts (both of which use the grossly overpriced colmado west of the hotel as a sort of green room or employee's lounge). I mention these things to inform rather than criticize. My advice about valuables is you should be aware that burglaries are not unusual. I would be surprised if a search of this forum's history didn't produce a hit for several at this and other hotels. So, you should keep your valuable with you or hide them very very well at all times. The downside to a what some describe as a "good location" is your comings and goings are obvious to the ne'er do wells who are drawn to places like Casaona Dorada the way flies are drawn to shit. You have been informed.

You just stated all the reasons why I stay at La Casona Dorada every trip for the last 3 years. I like hanging at that colmado where the beer is priced just about the same as everywhere else in that area. I like being in the middle of hookers and touts. I like being able to walk the street girls right across the street to my hotel and give them a clean dress to wear. I like when the shoe shine boys come running when they see me because they know they are going to get a new pair of sandals, a clean t-shirt and a baseball cap. I am good to the people that are drawn to the Casona Dorada because they are good to me.

As for the safety of the hotel, yes of course they should have safes. I have stayed there about 8 or 9 times now and have never had any type of problem. The rooms are always clean and I have never seen and bugs or rats. I do not bring anything of value with me because crime can happen anywhere in the DR.

And by the way, some of the street girls that use the colmado as a green room are some of the very best lays I have ever had in my life. I am just a fly and I can't wait to get back in the shit. "Long live girls that fuck for money".

Hey Joe, good to hear from you. I too really enjoy that colmado. I stop by during the day for a beer and at night for my brugal. The colmado is a really nice place to relax, drink, watch TV, and wait for chicas. Plus you never know who you will meet at the colmado.

Latinos look at the word puta differently. Every woman that had had sex is technically a puta. I does not really mean a bad thing. It depens on how the word is use. If a woman is not a virgin, sorry but she is a puta.

Puta is an insult. It would be like a guy calling a woman a ho. I would highly suggest that you not call a dominican chica a puta.

During sex some chicas like to use nasty words, perra is A safer word than puta.

Not being a virgin has nothing do with the word puta. A puta is a woman who has sex for money and that is the way it is used in DR.

WRONG!

PUTA: is a Derogatory word in all context when describing a woman. ...Period!

Tell you what, go to a Casa and call one of the ladies a Puta and watch the fireworks! Better yet, walk up to any Mujer and call her a Puta...

There is no need to be calling this girls putas. They are all human beings and its easy to talk when you're not in their shoes.

I respect chicks at a casa the same way that I would respect a girl in a suit and a nice job. This girls are all human beings and all have feelings.
I dont like to refer to this girls in a bad manner or talk to them like they are inferior to me because in reality we are all humans and we are all equal. About the only bad thing that I do is that I cheat on my girlfriends but thats something out of my control. I know its bad but I can't stop it jaja.

We chase them, we love them and we trust them.

I have more respect and trust for some of my so called "putas" the I do for my backstabbing, money grabbing ex-wives and most of my novia's including the current one. When she gets out of hand I call up one of my standby's who will treat me better screw me better and not call me evry name under the sun and embarrass me in public places.

So let's all agree that "puta's are the next best thing to mans best friend.

Damn!, I am a puta too!Thanks.

A male puta would not be called a puto?

Spanish language oftentimes confuses me as to when some words will end with the letter A, to denote something feminine and when when a word ends with the letter O, to denote masculine.

Amiga=female friend
Amigo=male friend.

I guess there are some words where the last letter is not changed, whether that word is describing a male of female.

But "puta" is to a woman if it should be correct. To say puta to a man is to weigh the feminin side of the word and give him the character of a "puta", like you call a man a ***** in english, even if it is gramatical wrong, to weigh the feminin side and give him the character of a ***** (female).

Hope you've understand, my explanation and that im not completely wrong, im not a native speaker in spanish, nor in english...hehe

As I stated earlier, the government policy relayed to the business community was that they were going to systematically crack down on SW's all over. Either running them into casas or away from the tourist starting from Malecon on George Washington to 27 de Febrero. They want more investments around the ports, surrounding infrastructure and cleanup of abandon buildings.

I call BS and Poor Business Decisions...To many social structural issues and misaligned business interest. Why they cant get the large investment dollars. The Rumor the executive order banning travel to Cuba being lifted is getting Red Hotter now {Release of 52 Political Prisoners. Primary demand of State Department }as well as being added to HR 4645(Travel Reform and Export Enhancement Act.) The Routing/navigation puts the northside of the island out of running. However, the President sees that southern port as mid point as big economic boon if it happens. Makes Weekend Cruises out of Ft Lauderdale/Miami more affordable for the cruise lines and customers . Would eliminate the long 2 day mexican slog. Especially with the oil on gulf beaches. Santo is leaning toward the slow path of Rio but is not gonna ever keep the TRUE PUTAS from the Tourist/Money. (YEAH I SAID IT! ) I see Sw's getting worse..

Got a deal brewing based on this and its picking up steam daily..

When the policia shows up it is always funny. You never know how the chicas will react. I have seen them run and hide like a nuclear bomb was descending and I have seen them not budge an inch. I have even seen the policia pull up on the corner and pass out a take out meal to the chicas. Also seen the policia pull up and let a chica or two enter the police vehicle for an air conditioned ride, probably to a parking lot or cabana. In all my visits I have never seen a chica get carted off to jail.

Back in the 90's there were a strip club/putero in Puerto Rico, The Lucky Seven where they had a guy that works as an entertainer on Saturdays. A lot of non Spanish speaking tourists visited the place so the entertainer always talk to them in English asking their names, where are they from etc. Then he offered the tourists to learn some Spanish phrases and make them repeat after him.

Something like this: " I am going to teach you a Spanish phrase, I am going to teach you how to say "I love blonde girls" in Spanish, repeat after me "quiero que un pato me coma el culo" (I want a gay man to eat my ass), it was hilarious listening to them repeating the phrase.

Joe I have mentioned before that the colmado across from La Casona Dorada is A-OK with me. Last night I stopped by and had a Presidente. I finished my beer and headed off to get me a sandwich from my favorite street vendor. Half way walking there I realized I left my smokes and cigarette lighter on the little plastic table. By now it is close to midnight and I know the colmado is closing up so I just chalk it off as lost items.

I went to the colmado tonight looking for one of my favorite, well not so favorite but still favorite new chicas. I jokingly said in my terrible Spainish where is my smokes and lighter I left here last night.......... Bingo, they hand me my pack of smokes and lighter.
