Pure I have not been to, Coppa was free to enter. Dollhouse and Foxy's are the only two venues that I know of that charge a fee to enter. (foxys maybe 100 pesos, dollhouse I never went into).Pure, they changed the name from Coppa and now place is darker than before, was the only change I saw last July. Dollhouse charges for first visit, next visits are free with a card they give you. Minimum of 2 drinks consumption required. I Prefer Dollhouse than Foxys for strip girl watching purposes.

I love to see girls strip naked, I almost daily imagine some of the ladies that work with me getting naked in the office.

This Texaco next to the airport is always my first stop for my first Presidente. I also buy water, candies etc to have in my room. Next is Pollos victorina for some pechurinas (chicken tenders).Boricua online. Good to see you enjoying the spring after your winter lull in posting. Have a question for you: what does the D. R have that a Puertoriqueno cannot get in Puerto Rico without the inconvenience of travel? I do not know anything about the P. R but other than being an afflilate of the US, I would imagine there is a lot of cultural similarities between the DR and PR as well as in sexual mores? Thanks in advance for the insight.

Boricua online. Good to see you enjoying the spring after your winter lull in posting. Have a question for you: what does the D. R but other than being an afflilate of the US, I would imagine there is a lot of cultural similarities between the DR and PR as well as in sexual mores? Thanks in advance for the insight.I am Puerto Rican. From New York City And I personally know a lot about the differences. I have not been to Dominican Republic but I will be there in a couple of weeks. I don't know anything that Dominican Republic can offer that Puerto Ricans can't get. I would say there are some difference I know based off of cultural fact.

These include:

A. Puerto Ricans and Dominicans have always been neighbors; even their countries are neighboring islands. Unfortunately, many of them can't seem to get along. There are a few reasons why they don't get along, but the most obvious reason is ignorance. People feel the need, at times, to compare themselves to others and compete. In this case we have two very proud Caribbean Latinos who 'rep' hard!

B. The most prevalent argument I always come across amongst Puerto Ricans and Dominicans is: 'Who has the better culture? ' These arguments breed hate and ignorance and create stereotypes. We've all heard, 'Dominican women are hoes; Dominican men are cheaters, ' and 'Puerto Rican women love welfare; Puerto Rican men are drug addicts, ' all are stereotypes that continue to circulate the Dominican and Puerto Rican communities.

See. I believe that this issue of hate towards each other begins at home. We know that a child's brain is like a sponge and that they pick up much of what they know from their parents. Many parents, I think, neglect to teach their children to accept everyone no matter what color they are, country they're from or what level of education they have, as long as there is mutual respect. I have heard parents having negative conversations about Puerto Ricans / Dominicans over the phone or in person with another person while in front of their child (I must say that both Dominicans and Puerto Ricans are guilty of 'Bochinche, ' I find this to be ABSOLUTELY WRONG because of the fact that they are unconsciously teaching their children to dislike a certain type of people.

The. Just to be fair and honest, Dominican and Puerto Rican culture is extremely similar. Both islands share similar dishes like mofongo, tostones, empanadillas, pasteles, bacalaitos, lechon, and sancocho. We are also genetically similar consisting of African, Taíno and Spaniard (Caucasian) roots, which explains why our food is so similar. The dialect of Spanish used in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic is also similar, where it is very common to drop the 'S' in some words or to pronounce 'R' as 'L' in other words (Carne = Calne / Puerta = Puelta / Miercoles = Miercole). We also share GREAT music that keeps the parties going all night: Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, Plena, Palo, Bomba.

E. I know that both Dominicans and Puerto Ricans have beautiful cultures that are both similar and different. I hope that in the future the next generation will not be raised believing the stereotypes that we've all heard so many times. It is up to our generation to teach our children acceptance, love, and understanding in order to bring these two communities and other Hispanics closer, here in the states and all over the world.

F. Food is different as there is no tortilla's in Puerto Rican Food, and the national food is Arroz con Gandules / Mofongo.

I did not know anything about the DR until I went there (actually there was a very nice girl from DR at my Grad school but never ventured to speak about the place) and about PR, I only knew of Westside Story. Speak of stereotypes. Now I will wait to hear from Boricua online who is PR based (vs you who is NYC based) to see what draws him to the D. R.

Thanks!Don't quite get it. You are Puerto Rican, and presumably fluent in the lingo and culture, so why would you need a casa? Even an idiot like me have never seen the insides of a casa in the DR; I would have presumed the whole island is ripe for plucking for you.

I question are these statements Road vs PR from eyes of a NYer? In my experience dealing with domininicans and puerto ricans IN their native country is the opposite. Meeting and socializing with them in there native country they love everyone, except Haitians but this isn't a skin color debate. They do have there own class systems but both people have been the most friendly people I have met.

Before I started going to this islands I got the same impressions of the tension between NYC dominicans and Puerto ricans.

Don't quite get it. You are Puerto Rican, and presumably fluent in the lingo and culture, so why would you need a casa? Even an idiot like me have never seen the insides of a casa in the DR; I would have presumed the whole island is ripe for plucking for you.Coppa is a disco, now called Pure, in the soon to be Sheraton Hotel. Some discos/clubs charge a cover charge. Praia years ago was 500 pesos http://portal.bufeo.com/search/galleries/3014/. If a guy invites a female who is with her friend, can get pricey paying for three people.

Sometimes I like cooking a meal in the kitchen and sometimes I like fast food.

Walk into a casa, be surrounded by 20 woman trying to get your attention. Choose one, buy her a $5US bottle of beer, she might start massaging your dick over your pants right there at the bar, or grinding up on you, or whipping out the titties in you face.

I got a few girls that are ready for me whenever I call them, and I can find other is around town but I still go to the casa's de cita all the time and Not to pick up "takeout". Sometimes I'm bored daytime or late at time and I won't want to put in work with a new girl, I can go in a casa de cita and I can see 30-100 naked girls. Flirt, touch, talk, find out whats going on around town, have a beer, and if I like them I can pay.$50-$75 for some fun.

I rarely do takeout because I go latenight and I have learned that spending your money on a tired working girl isn't the best use of my money but is a option. Also from I can see they are safe, and close to my hotel or apt.

Sometimes you don't want to but in work and look around for the next one.

Boricua online. Good to see you enjoying the spring after your winter lull in posting. Have a question for you: what does the D. R have that a Puertoriqueno cannot get in Puerto Rico without the inconvenience of travel? I do not know anything about the P. R but other than being an afflilate of the US, I would imagine there is a lot of cultural similarities between the DR and PR as well as in sexual mores? Thanks in advance for the insight.Excellent question. Before 1998 Puerto Rico was the place to go in the Caribbean for monger business. Next to actual Sheraton Convention Center in San Juan was a strip of adult oriented places that were very hardcore for example:

Doral: It was a strip club / brothel. Interaction with strippers was extremely hardcore: you were allowed to touch the dancer, insert fingers anywhere, sometimes they put it on your mouth.

Hawaiian Hut: Cute strippers, hot shows and interaction with customers.

Lucky Seven: My favorite strip club / brothel. Similar to Doral interaction with girls but with prettier girls. Naranjito, a girl whose show always ended her smoking a cigarette using her pussy was the most famous one. El Chino, a guy, was a host on weekends and he was always making jokes with tourists and locals.

Street girls nearby: Lot of hot ones, good service, cost from $20.

Black Angus: Ranked by Penthouse Magazine as the best brothel of the world. Girls from every continent of the world, sex and room between $40 to $60.

By 1998 the conservative extreme right Puerto rican government closed and torn down all these places except Lucky Seven which now exist in another location with other name. That year I did my first travel to Santo Domingo. It was just a vacation trip. I stayed at the Jaragua, which was guest friendly and full of working girls by that time. That year I discovered Santo Domingo and since that year I have had sexual interaction with over a hundred dominicanas.

Actually there are major differences between monger business in Puerto Rico compared to Dominican Republic:

1) While good service is the norm in the Dominican Republic, in Puerto Rico it is the exception according to post and reviews of other people. This one is the main reason.

2) Price has gone up here in Puerto Rico so good service and cost compensates the investment in airfare and other related travel expenses.

Actually there are other differences:

3) I have a sense of 'freedom' in the Dominican Republic. For example, I can drink on the streets while in Puerto Rico it is restricted in certain areas.

4) I am just a 40 minute plane ride from Santo Domingo but can disconnect from routine.

5) I can get puertorican like food almost everywhere.

6) I know the game here so if I need a girl I can get her in minutes by picking her on the street, a casa, calling one of my regulars or using pages like Badoo with the app that shows nearby online girls.

Due to economic crisis in Puerto Rico things are changing, I sense Puerto Rico will be a better monger destination in the not so distant future.

Last month I spent a night in San Juan with Jaosousa who was on vacation here with a relative. We went to a nice bar at luxury Hotel Vandervilt. The barmaid was a nice woman who kept us entertained and her drinks were excellent. At a moment Jaosousa mentioned to her that he visited a putero, Frenchies. At a moment during the conversation she mentioned about a girl at the lobby that she 'infer' was looking for customers, that the girl has been at the hotel before and that she is going to ask the girl for a commission to get her customers. I was 99% sure that what she really intend to tell us is that she can get that girl for us. A recent article mentioned about a prostitution red between tourist zone hotel and restaurant employees referring customers to girls. The report mentioned tourists paying up to $5, 000. 00 for a session with a girl. I am tempted to visit a couple of places here in Puerto Rico so if I do I will report.

I am not much into drinking but yes, I can understand what you are driving at. One reason why I like the DR is that it is different from my Asia or EU experiences. In most those places, it is always a pro that you are dealing with (at least I did) during my short business trips. In the DR, I am not so good like you as to pick one from the street when I feel like but I have been lucky, in addition to the online chicas. This "strange" openness has wowed me that so far, I have not stepped inside a casa barring one trip to sosua, which is a big open air casa. LOL. Can one get lucky walking the streets in the PR as well?

By the way, last I knew, Houston, TX used to be a great place for strip clubs. Compared to the freaking and frigid MA I am from. LOL.

Half a dozen chicas to choose from, a full body massage including handjob was 1000 pesos. I chose a chica I found very attractive a well-built latino chica and she led me into a back room. Slip On Me Massage would be a taxi ride (200 pesos or less) away (open from 10 to 10). One ISG member describes the building as looking like a Chicago Housing Project. The elevator may or may not work, http://www.sliponme.com/. Prices here: http://www.sliponme.com/index.php/forum/los-precios/2-los-precios. Happy endings available. You can ask the chicas on the 9th floor club premium lounge to call a taxi for you. Some of the taxi guys who wait outside the hotel may not be the cheapest. The workers on the 9th floor will probably call apolo taxi company. If going to GBP, you can say you are going to Arysmendy Motors (mercedes benz car dealer), GBP is next door (between lincoln and tiradentes on the southside of Avenida 27 de Febrero). Some taxi guys best not to invite them up. Each taxi has like a plastic placard that they flash near the windshield with the company name, so you know it is the taxi, that was called for you.

Next to the barcelo santo domingo hotel is the metro, take line 1 one stop to centro olimpico and change for line 2 (direction of los alcarizos). Pink Pony is a 1/4 block from Ave. Kennedy on Ave. Nunez Caceres (Metro line 2 stops at that intersection, easy walk to pink pony). Pink Pony has rooms on site with prices starting at 1000 pesos. In the past they had Japanese women in addition to Dominicanas.

There might be a massage place on El Conde in Zona Colonial.

GBP is an easy taxi ride from there (1000 for one, 1500 for two, rooms on site, bring your own condoms).

There's lots of info here and there on hotels but it doesn't seem to be concentrated in any one place which makes it difficult to make a decision.

I did make a reservation at Barcelo. I'll be visiting starting 4/20 for 1 week. I was very happy with what I read about the place and have unquestioning faith in the person who recommended it, hence my reservation for 1 week. Now, I'm having second thoughts about the area and would like to entertain other options.

I stayed at the Palacio last year and loved it. Now I want a change of scenery.

Here's my situation. I'm 61 and am not a professional mongerer nor am I a wannabe professional mongerer, haha. But I do like sex.). The reason for the trip is probably not unlike most others. To combine relaxation and hook up with girls, in that order. If I found 1 girl for my entire stay, I would be very content. My Spanish is limited but I usually get by. I picked the DR because it is close (to NY) and relatively inexpensive. I picked SD for no other reason than I have been to Sosua and POP and wasn't crazy about either place. However, that was around 15 years ago. Anyway, my mind is made up about SD, at least my flight reservation is to SDQ.

I like nice hotels and don't mind spending the money, up to about $150 or so a night. I'd even go higher for the right place. I'd prefer not to rent a car. I want to have opportunities for sightseeing and picking up wimmin within walking distance or short taxi ride. I don't like going to casas or discos. I'd rather spend the evening just wandering around on my own checking out the sights than go to one of those places. As for restaurants, I like to eat local fare. I can get a good steak or hamburger in New York.

Many thanks!

Electricity in Santo Domingo where I stayed, I never experienced a power outage lasting more than a minute in Santo Domingo in an apartment, hotel or saw power out near those locations.

I had no problem reaching the payment page for the Tourist Card, less than ten minutes ago.

There is a Massage Parlor Called "Centro Capilar, Estetica & Spa R&R" was at no 2 Calle Cervantes just down from the Supermarket.

Half a dozen chicas to choose from, a full body massage including handjob was 1000 pesos. I chose a chica I found very attractive a well-built latino chica and she led me into a back room. Proper massage table and shower. Got naked on the table and the massage was excellent, I mean really good, she was a strong chica and professional.Princzz. 2 days ago you wrote:

I visited one home near Calle Manoguayabo, where the power was out in the neighborhood, in the early evening (years ago). I also saw a power outage in a neighborhood near villa agricolas years ago, the one time I visited there in the early evening (can be useful to have a small one LED pocket flashlight, at least so that you can see the toilet bowl in a house with no lights).

In San Pedro de Macoris about an hour from santo domingo, the neighborhood where an amiga lives, the power is out everyday, usually for at least 8 hours (no running water the times I visited). A plastic barrel can get installed on the roof of a home and some piping from there to parts of the house, to provide some running water.

Gazcue (near the big hotels on the malecon) I have seen the power go out for around 10 seconds, maybe twice. In Zona Colonial I never saw the power go out.

Many thanks!Hotel Shakey apartments, most if not all with a view of the Sea. Located adjacent to the Intercontinental Hotel. Hotel Shakey rooms have kitchens, so you could prepare your own meals. Opened November 2012 (I watched it go up from the condo building across the street). Some photos I took in May 2012, before it opened. http://www.hotelshakey.com/. I don't know anyone who has stayed there yet. There are numerous chica friendly hotels in the area.

Booking.com has 66 properties for santo domingo.

Flipkey, AirBnB and Homeaway have other rentals.

For me, I like the Barcelo Santo Domingo. I have entered with multiple women at the same time (no extra fee). Good size pool, jacuzzis, newly restored hotel (new carpeting, new furniture, new elevators etc). Manager who speaks English who walks around the hotel and asks guests if they need anything. Club Premium access gives free wine, beer, soda, juice, snacks, early check-in and late check out. The hotel's location is not in a major tourist area, but with easy access to two metro lines makes getting around easy. National Theater, US Consulate, Marriott Courtyard Hotel, at least two large Universities on the same street as the Barcelo. Always Policia Nacional and AMET on Maximo Gomez near the hotel. Caribe Tours bus station a few blocks away, US Embassy also close, less than 10 blocks.

As you travel west of Santo Domingo the power situation worsens dramatically as it is mostly el campo and they are lucky to have power 6 to 8 hours a day so be prepared as best you can. Some homes have inversors which charge car size batteries (those batteries kick in when the main power goes out). Lead poisoning is a problem, some batteries might be made from lead and might emit some fumes (best if the batteries are not kept inside the house). As people on the east coast of the United States recently learned with the extreme weather (hurricanes and storms), a backup gasoline, propane/natural gas or diesel generator is a necessity when there is no main power.

When I drove through Bani which is west of Santo Domingo, the traffic lights were out during that afternoon (caused no problems for me, still an easy drive).

Plenty of sun for solar, wind for turbines, waves for other turbines, sugar cane for ethanol. Some people might like the quietness.

I was curious what kinds of gifts mongers have been bringing Santo Domingo chicas. For most of us, I believe the idea is to spend as little as possible back home in the USA, Canada or Europe, while getting maximum bang for the buck. The amateur and semi-pro girls seem to love gifts, normally each time you meet them. A few things I've gotten lately:

- Low end watches and jewelry from Amazon. Recently, the Geneva Platinum CZ was under $6.

- Any Aeropostale clothes when on sale (always lots of sale items on the company website for under $10)

- Any women's / girl's Old Navy clothes (also lots under $10 when on sale)

Recently, I was hanging with a brother in the DR that had a duplex apartment. He invited a girl over and went upstairs to the bedroom. When he came downstairs, he told her he had some stuff he wanted her to model for him. First he gave her about 20 metal bracelets in all different colors to try on. This babe was top notch, spoke English well and the whole 9. She tried on about 3 brand new outfits, tops, pants and all. And looked great in all. Next thing I know, he went in a closet and pulled out a duffle bang full of women's shoes and had her model those too with the outfits. When I saw them out later that night, she had on one of the outfits. The next day, he told me he smashed and she left the entire outfit in his house as though she thought it was just for her to wear that night.

The ladies love Perfume and it is very expensive in the DR. I buy name brand perfume at Ross for about $14. Now I only give them to ladies I know and like. If I meet a SW who performs very well she can rate a gift. It is a rare a Sosua chica can get one. It is nice togive a lady you like a gift that makes them happy.

I like to buy slim, busty girls some nice brassieres and bikinis from Nordstrom's Rack or one of the lingerie stores here in the USA Sometimes the top heavy girls have trouble finding their size so I bring a variety of lacy, sexy 34, 36, 38 and 40 C, D and DD cups. I love it when they try them on and pose for the camera. Nice prelude to lovemaking!

The 9th floor club premium lounge has about 6 computers with flat screens (with internet) that guests can use for free (see attached photo).

Kone supposedly means device in Finnish. The elevators are new and seem to be made by Kone a company from Finland. To get to the 9th floor you have to swipe your room key card in front of the little box above the buttons in the elevator (see attached photo).

When you first get to the hotel there are workers at the entrance who will help you with your luggage, they will swipe their card, to get you to the ninth floor, so you can check in for club premium (photo of the ninth floor check-in/check-out desk is attached). Cigar store in the lobby and a separate cigar lounge near the main lobby bar. An Asian Restaurant and an International restaurant (near the front desk) in the lobby. Burger with fries was good in the International restaurant, price was reasonable. ATM machine near the elevators on the first floor.

From wiki: "The guavaberry or rumberry is a fruit tree which grows in the Caribbean. Guavaberry is used to make jams and drinks. Guavaberry liqueur, which is made from rum, is a common Christmas drink on many of the islands, particularly in Sint Maarten and the Virgin Islands. The colonists from Denmark and Holland found it could flavor rum by infusion similar to infused schnapps. In the Dominican Republic it is associated with the eastern town of San Pedro de Macoris which has a large population of Eastern Caribbean descent. Guavaberry is also used for medicinal purposes."

Juan Luis Guerra (uncle of Ms. Universe Amelia Vega) song "Guavaberry" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HysWmGw7Og about drinking Guavaberry on the Malecon in San Pedro de Macoris.

Also Bikinis to have that you can lend out (a few pair), for the beach, pool or jacuzzi (at the end of the trip can give away to a favorite or keep for a future trip). A pair of shorts to wear over the bikini or sun type dress (can be purchased in the sale section of aeropsotale for around $10US).

Bikinis (with a skirt type thing for the bottom) and flip flops can be purchased, inexpensive, at Jumbo or California Dept. Store (El Conde, Zona Colonial, free rooftop parking on calle duarte for that store, show your receipt or get the parking paper stamped at the cash register).

Does anyone have a driver (taxi or other) they'd care to share for the ride from SDQ to my hotel and more? I'm arriving tomorrow (Saturday) at 6pm. Assuming the plane lands on time, I should be ready by 7pm after I'm done shopping.

Thanks

From Moon Travel: "Santo Domingo is the result of many failed attempts at settlement. (Columbus) Finally, with the help of his governor, he founded Santo Domingo de Guzmán (the city's official name), an 11-block area on the western bank of the Río Ozama. And it began to thrive. At the same time, the brutalization of the Taíno natives raged on with forced labor.

Santo Domingo began to weaken, and pirates were catching wind of its vulnerability. In 1586, Sir Francis Drake, the English buccaneer, came to town and seized it for a month until he finally got the Spanish to pay him a ransom to get it back.

He wasn't the last to try to take Santo Domingo, either. William Penn of England tried, and former slave François Dominique Toussaint L'Ouverture of Haiti succeeded until February 27, 1844, when Juan Pablo Duarte finally won independence for the Dominican Republic after a series of rapid-succession occupations by the French (1802 and 1804), the British (1803 and 1809), the Spanish (1809), and finally the Haitians in 1822—all of which happened in the Ciudad Colonial." http://www.moon.com/destinations/dominican-republic/santo-domingo/history

Looks like a nice place with at least one room in a tree house, Rancho Platón; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jRIUJQM410 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-CgNyC4ZhU. Maybe I'll check it out next week, http://www.ranchoplaton.com/.

There are hotels directly on the beach in Barahona Province.

For Santo Domingo, I have not decided which hotel I will use. Hotel Alcaldeza is one of my favorite small hotels (friendly owner who speaks English, family from Santiago), secure parking, friendly workers, rate about $50US. One block from the malecon, near the Intercontinental Hotel.

Maybe one weekend night at the Hotel Plaza Naco (weekend rates are cheaper for some Santo Domingo hotels), http://www.hotelplazanaco.com/. Rooms are large at this hotel, newly renovated. Free admission to the Club Athletic gym a few blocks away (I have only seen that gym from the outside) included in the room rate. Or maybe the BQ Hotel on Ave. Sarasota in the Bella Vista neighborhood, rooftop pool, rates under $100, http://www.bqhoteles.com/en/bq-santo-domingo-hotel.html. I have not yet stayed at either the Hotel Plaza Naco or the BQ Hotel (El Embajador is a nice hotel, chica friendly, near the BQ Hotel).

Barcelo Santo Domingo Hotel is always good for early check-in on early morning arrivals into SDQ.

So last week I made reservation for my D. R. Trip for early May. I purchased the flight + hotel package through Orbitz. Plane tickets were very reasonable, and the hotel even more so. I reserved 4 nights at Barceló Capella in Juan Dolio, which I stayed before (and easier to "disguise" the true mongering purpose of my trip: Hey, I'm just taking an all-inclusive beach vacation!)

With the $70 off package discount, per night rate for the hotel comes out to barely over $50, for an all-inclusive! The only regret is, I cannot book single passenger flight ticket and simultaneously book the hotel room for double occupancy. So I may have to pay more locally to add-on if I were to bring a female in. I do have cupid chicas lined up, but given their fickle nature (to show up or not show up) , this may actually be better.

Hotel Plaza Naco gives free entrance to the Body Shop Athletic Club, which looks like a nice gym with a pool, machines, classes, heavy bag for boxing etc (I have not used that gym yet); http://www.clubbodyshop.com/app/new/bsnaco.aspx.

Hi everyone! I'm going to be in Santo Domingo for a few days in May. Primarily there to dive the wrecks off the south coast of the island, but will certainly want to sample some monger delights! I've been reading through this thread (up to page 55 so far) and there is a ton of useful information! There are a few things I'm having trouble with though.

I speak next to no Spanish. Sounds like that's going to hinder me a bit, but I was wondering if its going to be a near show stopper at some of the casas, with girls in the casinos, or even with some of the streetwalkers. I have no interest in trying to pull non-pros or semi-pros. I'm not there long enough and quite frankly, don't want to put in the effort (and I don't speak Spanish). I realize I'll wind up paying more at casas and the like, but for the convenience I don't really mind. I've managed to navigate the scene in China (Shanghai, Xi'an, Beijing, etc) and Play Del Carmen / Cozumel without any real difficulty. Not sure how that compares and could use some insight.

Is it worth it to take a trip out to Boca Chica for an afternoon / evening? Can't get a sense of if its really worth the effort. If I decide to scrap diving for a day would probably go up to Sosua, so Boca Chica would really be an evening trip (and back to Santo Domingo in the same night if possible)

Hotels. I've narrowed my list down to the following:

Jaguar Apartment Studios. Love the proximity to a few casinos and seems I'd be in a good place relative to monger destinations.

Hotel Palacio. Close proximity to El Conde.

Hotel la Morada. Cheap, close proximity to Pasteur.

Anyone have any other suggestions with regards to where to stay?

Again, this forum has been very helpful so thank you all for that! Any advice you guys could throw my way would be greatly appreciated!

I'm going to be in Santo Domingo for a few days in May.Weekends will be more crowded at playa boca chica, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYsKCj0FQTU. Weekdays will be much quieter. Shallow water because of a reef off the beach, there are some mangroves with some sea-life. Boathouse restaurant gets good reviews on this site (a sign for that place is in the video). Cuanto? How much? Best to ask the price, food on the beach and taxis, as well as other things. Lots of motoconchos in boca chica. You can ask one to show you the casa de citas or use other terms (donde estan las chicas or casa de chicas).100 pesos should be OK if he takes you to various places. Once you learn where they are, you can walk back to the beach.

ISG member Chris Long, I believe said that Hotel Morada informed him, that they were not multiple chica friendly for free. He also used the services of a guy named Flavio who seemed to provide him good service (I don't have any experience with Flavio). I have never stayed at La Morada. Jaguar many guys have stayed at. I have visited there, but never stayed there. Palacio is German owned with a small pool, good location in zona colonial. Palacio generally will be about double the price of La Morada and Jaguar. Palacio is a larger hotel than Jaguar and La Morada. Palacio is in a restored Colonial building with old brickwork and courtyards with plants, two elevators.

Hotel Riazor for about $60 is directly behind the Marriott Jaragua (busy street in the daytime, with a 24 hour restaurant next door). Jaguar is two blocks north of that restaurant on a side street.

Hotel Napolitano on the Malecon has a pool and is supposedly guest friendly, with rates under $100US.

When staying at a small hotel, you might want to write the telephone number and the street address of the hotel on a piece of paper before a trip (in case you get a taxi driver who doesn't know the hotel).

Restaurant Sully gets good reviews, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDOAgQxQOPE, their webpage; http://www.restaurantsully.com/. (seems like it could be within walking distance of two Metro stops, Espaillat or Billini).

Vesuvio on El Malecon is convenient, secure parking, friendly staff, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIi4z74Jz38.

Supposedly D'Luis Parrilada is open 24/7, on the malecon.

Hooters in Acropolis Center, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlnS9L9rgJQ. Docks lounge bar in Acropolis had attractive non-pros the one time I visited years ago.

Argentine Steakhouse not far from the US Embassy (recommended by ISG member Knowledge): Restaurante Asador de Antonio www.asadordeantonio.com.

This happened 30 minutes ago. It was so unbelievable I just have to share it with you guys.

So I was chatting with this cupid chica, FOR THE FIRST TIME. FIFTEEN MINUTES into the conversation, she wanted me to send her money so she can buy bikini / lingerie for when we meet. I was thinking, you got to be shitting me. Do I have the word "moron" written on my forehead? So I decided to have some fun with her and see how far I could go.

Me: "hmmm. Ok. I'll wire US$100 (amount she requested) into your bank account now. Give me your account number, your name, and your bank's name."

Chica: "xx-xxx-xxxx, Name Name, Banco XYZ"

Me: (what the fuck!)"oh yeah, date of birth and I. D. Card number?"

Chica: "0-0-1993, xxx-xx-xxxxx."

Me: "ay caramba! The bank system shuts down after 12 midnight. I'll have to do it tomorrow."

Chica: "gracias amor"

But I guess there is nothing in the account to pilfer, and her identity isn't worth a damn.

I've been in Santo Domingo since Saturday. It's my second time in a little over a year. I'm having a super time relaxing, the primary purpose of my trip. I'm once again staying at the Palacio, a hotel I've come to love. I have the biggest room which has a great big balcony which is the same size as many hotel rooms. However, while I've mostly had lots of fun and relaxation, the trip has had its ups and downs. The one and only drawback (for me) is that the wi-fi is not that good in the rooms.

First off and relevant to the forum, I've confined my mongering to picking up women who work at the many beauty parlors on the pedestrian mall who are looking to freelance. They're far from pros and less expensive, I. E. 1000 pesos for massage and whatever else. The lack of professionalism, I. E, naivete, appeals to me lots more than casas or bars. Actually, I met up with a fellow ISG person (I don't know if he wants to be named) who showed me Jaragua and all the sites / casas around it. Great guy. But the area totally turned me off. I thought I was in Las Vegas. Anyway, back to the beauty parlor women. I'm surprised no one's mentioned them. They range up to about 8.

I had little success with the "dating" sites, cupido, tagged and badoo. I did make several appointments but the girls seemed to chicken out at the last minute. But it's fun partaking in these sites and kind of a cultural learning experience. However, the cost (in time and money) and benefit really did not add up.

As for the not so good, I stayed in 2 hotels before Palacio and disliked both of them. Barcelo was actually a gorgeous hotel with great amenities. However, I not only found it a bit hoity toity for me, but without a car, one is totally dependent on taxis as there is nothing in the area. I also left a plastic bag of toiletries there and it was an incredible hassle to get it back. The bureaucracy I had to go through was akin to the military.

Next night was spent in Hotel Santo Domingo. It was virtually empty and I loved the peacefulness. It's a great place to relax and the staff is super-friendly, unlike the put-offish staff at Barcelo. HOWEVER, the hotel is sorely in need of major renovations throughout. It's also not the greatest area with seemingly not much to do within walking distance.

AS for taxis, I don't how you guys do it, but it was rare for me to get a taxi for 200 pesos. They all want $10 in front of a hotel. Outside hotels, they seem to have turista rates of about 300 pesos (some start out asking for more). It could be my lack of fluent Spanish, but I don't think so and I rarely got a 200 peso rate. I finally befriended a cab driver who works outside the Palacio, and I now get dominicana rates. He actually took me to Boca Chica for $40 and the ride back was gratis!

Beware of Cuban cigars! I bought a box of Cohiba Habanos for my boss for $225. I knew nothing about cigars, but now I'm a little more savvy. I bought them at the tobacco store near the Mercure Hotel on the pedestrian mall, but my guess is the problem is widespread. And that is, they're phony. My idiot boss decided she didn't want them after I bought them and I went to return them. At first, the owner said no and then he agreed to do so for a 1000 peso penalty. I said screw that, figuring I could sell them and get my money back in the USA. In searching for prices on the internet, I stumbled across a cigar forum. There's a dang forum for everything! In turn, I was led to a site to check the serial number and found they were bogus. I went back to the store. I didn't plan on bringing up the phony cigar bit, but decided to bite the bullet and pay the 1000 peso penalty. After all, the cigars are basically worthless. But he changed his mind and said no!

I'm a little torn what to do. I could dispute the charge, but then again, it's not exactly legal buying Cuban cigars. Then again, they weren't Cuban, haha. Also, the tourist police or whatever you call them, are a few blocks away and I can file a complaint. However, I lean against doing that since I don't want to waste precious vacation time and I have to think they are well aware of the problem. What do you think?

Anyway, just 2 more days and then back to reality. I'm thinking Santiago today or tomorrow.

I've been in Santo Domingo since Saturday. It's my second time in a little over a year. I'm having a super time relaxing, the primary purpose of my trip. I'm once again staying at the Palacio, a hotel I've come to love. I have the biggest room...Great HONEST trip report. That ISG member also said you were a good guy.

He actually took me to Boca Chica for $40 and the ride back was gratis!Get the number for either Taxi Lino or Appollo Taxi, they are radio dispatched and we just asked the dispatcher how much the fare was before they sent the car. Usually between 150 and 180 pesos for anywhere within the city. Using the taxis outside the hotels can cost double.

I posted before have a worker in a hotel call a taxi, usually apolo, rates from 140 pesos and up. This information has been posted numerous times before. Two new Metro lines, that make taking some taxis unnecessary. I have walked around Santo Domingo all hours of the day and night, never had a problem. Two large Universities, National Theater, US Consulate, Courtyard by Marriot Hotel and Metro stops near the Barcelo Santo Domingo (also Caribe Tours bus station a few blocks away). Did you see hustlers near the Barcelo Santo Domingo, you say it was isolated, Mr Gogo seems to say there are hustlers and scammers everywhere.

With the Metro no need to take taxis to many locations. It was posted by me before have a worker on the 9th floor call a taxi. If you choose to not make use of the information posted on this site, that is your choice.

I know about Apolo (it's been talked about enough here) and have used them, probably not as much as I should. The problem (my probem) is sometimes the wait can be 20 minutes and I don't want to wait. In any event, that problem is solved when I'm taking a taxi from the Palacio. Now all the drivers give me good rates and I have a few cards for them to pick me up from wherever I am, although that puts me in the same position as with Apolo, waiting for a taxi. Sometimes it doesn't matter, sometimes it does.

As for hopping on a metro, nothing beats walking a half a block to the supermarket to indulge my needs and wants. Or a couple of blocks to the "beauty parlor" to look pretty and feel good.) Etc, etc. And personally, and I emphasize PERSONALLY, there's no way I'm getting on a metro in a 3rd world country, particularly where I don't speak the language well. I doubt I'm alone on this, but it's irrelevant.

Even though I've been to the DR a number of times, most of the trips were long ago so I consider myself a newbie. I defer to those more experienced and I appreciate learning from all of you. And as a result, my stay this time has been that much more enjoyable. I pick and choose what info to use. I don't feel compelled to follow every bit of advice. But sometimes, jeez.)

Anyway, thanks to everyone for making this forum what it is. I certainly don't mean for this to be controversial and I hope it's received in the spirit it's given.

Judging by the questions asked on this forum it would seem most people do not use the search function or look back more than one page. So it does no harm to repeat useful information such as this.My first trip to Santo Domingo, I rented a car with Avis at the Santo Domingo airport, over 8 years ago. No google maps, no youtube videos, no one sent me maps, nor photos. I checked into the Marriott Jaragua, went swimming in the pool. That night went out the rear entrance, some "hustler" was there and he showed me and a wingman La Parada (nice "old" house with a vaulted wood ceiling), a few blocks away. I would never have found the place on my own. Me and the wingman only guys in the place. At least 10 attractive women. It was a goof. I had fun. I drove to Sebana Perdida, north of zona oriental, santo domingo este, visited a house there. Also a home not far from parque mirador sur, I had a great time. First time staying in santo domingo, driving a car and not knowing much Spanish.

Exiting some small bar on the Malecon at 8am and walking back to the Renaissance Jaragua Hotel. Walking on Avenida Lincoln after 11pm, from Cafe Trio (freezing cold strong A/C) to Hotel Hispaniola (over a ten minute walk), because I did not want to pay what the taxi wanted to charge (I had paid less going there, not an outrageous amount, I decided to walk. Rental car was back at the hotel).

Debbies Dominican is a travel site with reviews of hotels and other things, seems to be owned and operated by an African American woman from Canada. From her site:"The Barahona Province with its capital Santa Cruz de Barahona is one of these special Dominican destinations I often recommend to my friends who like to experience parts of the Dominican Republic that are not yet discovered by mass tourism. The region's pristine coastline, national parks, lakes and abundance of (endemic) flora and fauna make it an ideal location for almost any type of vacationing.

The incredible raw beauty of the undeveloped beaches, like the totally isolated beach of Bahia de Las Aguilas, the Barahona- Enriquillo coastal highway that has been described as one of the most scenic and spectacular coastal roads in the Caribbean and the proximity to 5 spectacular national parks and various mountain forests, make this region one of the best kept secrets of the Caribbean.

Only a few (private, domestic, chartered) flights arrive at Barahona International Airport María Montéz (BRX). I always fly to Santo Domingo's International Airport Las Americas (SDQ) where I rent a car since reaching Barahona by car is easy (West bound on the Sanchez Highway) and does not require a 4x4 driven vehicle." http://www.debbiesdominicantravel.com/destination/dominican_republic/342_barahona.html#destination_info

I'll probably be making that trip in a few days, unless I decide to hit some cabanas in santo domingo este or oeste, bonao and santiago, (before checking into a hotel, sport fucking lite).

I'll probably cross into Haiti at the border town Pedernales and inquire about boats to get closer to Jacmel, Haiti.

Anyway, just 2 more days and then back to reality. I'm thinking Santiago today or tomorrow.Nice report. Enjoyed reading and learned some.

Is pedestrian mall a name of a mall? Do you go inside and ask the women as to who might be willing to come to your place to give you a massage? How did the gig work?

I work with online sites and as your correctly said, it is an interesting cultural exercise but I have been able to make it work even though I have had no shows and some times people have cold feet at the last moment. Now I can whittle down my list to some solid new.s and some question mark new-s plus the old ones. The fun however is in getting lucky when you least expect it.

Re fake cuban (not into cigar but learned some here too and I am sure the cops are on the take). No advice whatsoever. Perhaps you should give it to your boss anyway saying honestly they could not be returned.

So I decided to have some fun with her and see how far I could go.It has happened to me a few times and it is always fun to play her game. Some girls are straight asking money because some guys send money. Pretty girls have at least a thousand foreign contacts, with just 1% of them sending money they will profit a couple thousand dollars.

Every newbie please read his report.Of course according to you the Travel Channel, Anthony Bourdain and the African American woman Debbie (from Debbies Dominican) are like the lunatic Jim Jones who had his followers drink poisoned kool aid and die. Travel Channel, Anthony Bourdain and the African American woman Debbie encourage people to visit different areas of the DR. I do the same and you say I am like Jim Jones. Anthony Bourdain and another personality on the travel channel have described a part of the DR as being perfect (I have not used the word perfect to describe the DR, as you imply).

If a person has a financial interest near Sosua or near Costambar I can understand why that person may encourage people to visit those locations.

I have no financial interests in the DR. I don't care where anyone mongers.

Hotel Palacio is on a side street in zona colonial, I believe you have posted before, take a side street in zona colonial at night and your ass is grass (your words). Seems to me numerous mongers on this site have stayed at the Hotel Palacio and entered that side street at night and absolutely nothing happened to them.

they will not pull over cars with broken headlights, or motorcycles with no lights, or guys driving old cars in the wrong direction on certain roads, or old cars that go through red lights. the policia nacional are not looking for criminals, they are looking for rich people to shake down. the gua gua drivers drive dented and scratched up vehicles because those drivers don't care about the rules of the road, the policia nacional never pull those drivers over.

the policia nacional will pull over guys like me. 50 year old white professionals who have money and are spending money in the dominican republic. somehow in their pea brains they believe that pissing off guys like me will somehow benefit their country.

i have been driving here in the states for over 25 years, i have been stopped twice by police in 25 years of driving here (one time for a broken brake light lamp, which was dismissed when i showed a receipt for a new lamp and one time 22 years ago for a speeding ticket).

compare that to the dominican republic, on my most recent trips in dom rep, i have spent about 20 days in santo domingo. in those 20 days in santo domingo i have been stopped by the policia nacional at least 10 times. i was breaking no laws. every single stop was an attempt by the policia nacional to extract money from me.

my time is valuable and i don't go on vacation to be stopped on some busy dark street and be treated like a piece of shit, by some illiterate 20 year old policia nacional officer who is breaking my balls looking for a donation.

i can tolerate the grime, the filth, the dirt of santo domingo. i can tolerate the chicas who say they will be at some location at a specified time and show up two hours late. i can tolerate the fact that santo domingo is not teeming with beautiful chicas (there are cute chicas there but there are also a lot of dogs). i can tolerate paying 26% in taxes for restaurants and hotels (prices that sometimes compare to new york city). i can tolerate the air pollution, the horrible traffic, the bad roads and the bad drivers.

i cannot tolerate an arm of the dominican government (policia nacional) being given free reign to hunt down tourists like me for the sole purpose of trying to extract money from me.

i have encouraged other mongers to go to santo domingo. i have tried to be helpful. i will no longer recommend santo domingo. if a guy cannot rent a car and drive around santo domingo without being constantly harassed by rude, disrespectful, ignorant, threatening policia nacional, there is no point in going to santo domingo. there is nothing super special about santo domingo that outweighs the miserable conduct of the policia nacional. as i told some of the policia nacional who pulled me over, maybe they will be happy when no tourists visit santo domingo and therefore less money for the dominican government and the dominican people.you don't say?

I think I'll totally relax today, as opposed to mostly relaxing, haha.

Actually, I've gotten more than enough exercise and visited a bunch of sites, but that's not what we're here to talk about.

First off, I had my first ever meet-up with a girl from online, cupido I think. She was absolutely fantastic and I finally have 1 lousy phone number in my book.). She said it was her first time doing such a thing. Who knows? But she gave a real girlfriend experience. 18 years old (I thought she was older until I asked after the, uh, ceremonies) , big beautiful tits and a face like an angel. I considered it a bargain for 1500 pesos.

Just before that, same site, I asked a total knockout. 9 or 10, her price. I asked about a massage and more, my exact words. She asked me what I would pay. I said 1000 leaving room for negotiation. She asked if it was dollars or pesos. When I told her pesos, she asked if I was loco. I couldn't help but laugh. She wanted 15, 000 pesos! I asked her the same question and told her I could get 5 girls or more for that price. Her response was that she was beautiful. Ya know, and I thought about this later, in the US, she could probably get what she wanted. But this ain't the US. She wouldn't come down 1 peso.

Cuban cigars. I am the stoopidest of stoopid noobies and probably deserved to get ripped off. I knew nothing about cigars before I came down. The thought never crossed my mind that counterfeiting cubans is widespread, which it is. Anyway, there is a happy ending. The turista police are located on the pedestrian mall. I told my story in my broken spanish. 2 officers agreed to go to the store with me and try to resolve the matter. It was obvious they were there just to make everyone happy, not to bust the owner's chops for selling counterfeits. Which was ok by me. As a result, I got my money back.

I don't know the official name of the pedestrian mall or if it even has one. It seems that's what people call it though.

As for the mechanics of arranging to meet a beauty parlor girl. These are generally legitimate salons. They do everything a salon does plus many give massages in the back. I had a massage inside 2 of the places and the menu is somewhat limited (though you can get a happy ending) and the space was very cramped. Plus only a thin curtain separated the room from the "regular" customers. However, the girls act as touts at some of the salons and that's how I came about making deals. A quick exchange of phone numbers. I don't recall this to be the case the last time I visited. But it seems to be prevalent now. Not all girls will freelance but it can't hurt to ask.

In the 2 times I stayed at the Palacio, I never noticed any streetwalkers on the pedestrian mall above a 3, and they were few. I never once saw one at Paco's and I go there regularly. It's one of the only decent places to eat on the walk itself with reasonable prices.

The walk from the walkway to the Palacio is a short distance away from the walkway on a sidestreet (Duarte). It feels as safe as most any place late at night. The night guard at the Palacio is visible almost as soon as U-turn onto Duarte. I've yet to see any mischief on the street late at night.

Anthony Bourdain is my hero and acquaintance. [he wrote the introduction to my book. ] But he travels with lots of people.

From the Gay Santo Domingo google map: "Hispaniola Spanish Language School, This school has been around for many years and offers great personalized service. I have personally taken classes here. More expensive than other schools, but worth it."

http://www.hispaniola.org/

Appears the location is in Zona Colonial. No wonder guys say you are weird.

I'm thinking Santiago today or tomorrow.Nice tip about the beauty parlour women. If you could pick them up, your Spanish must not be that bad!

Online chicas chickening out. Haha I have some already chickened out on me. And I haven't even left for my trip yet! (in two weeks time). I guess it is a numbers game. It really is not easy. Like I said before, props to the vets here who are doing it well.

You wouldn't have been able to bring the "Cuban" cigars back into the US anyways. US Customs seized mine when I was coming back from the Bahamas years ago. I'm not a cigar aficionado, but aren't Dominican cigars well regarded? A casual cigar smoker would have thanked you for bringing back a nice box of Dominicans.

induban might be the company that sells santo domingo cafe (coffee). there is a building on maximo gomez that is a coffee building (packaging, distribution etc), maybe it is industrias banilejas, sas (induban), ave maximo gómez 118, (clasificado: café/torrefacciones), (809) 565-3121. people from bani are called banilejos or banilejas. people from santo domingo are called capitalenos. people from la vega, veganos. santago, santigueras.

sometimes i think about smoking a cigar in the dr. from a webpage that sells santo domingo coffee, an article (advertisement) i found to be interesting regarding cigars (http://cafe-santo-domingo.com/content/6-viviana-cigars-a-great-dominican-cigar-): "viviana cigars, a dominican cigar. the cigar, before luxury item, has been democratized. we offer high quality puros. 100% tobacco with no additives or chemicals added, at the right price. hand made under the direction of viviana, a former employee of the famous house arturo fuente, she gives you her tips to choose a cigar that suits you and how to smoke it. smoke rises in the air, cigar well in hand and in mouth the connoisseur knows a moment of pleasure, as when he drinks a fine wine. since its fame in the 18th century, the cigar is attached to special moments. unlike the cigarette which is often a mechanical action and addictive of its owner, the "puro" lets himself enjoy. like tea in asia, it is surrounded by a ceremony. first of all, the choice: sizes are different, length and diameter checked by a rigorous examination quality from the workshops of viviana cigars. the names are evocative and have their own story: churchill, londsale, tor****, robusto, toro. the flavors are also varied: woody, spicy, leather, vegetable, earthy, floral.

how to choose your cigar?

a quality cigar has three parts, the filler, which is the heart, a mixture of tobacco, the binder or "hood" that covers the first, and finally the cape, which surrounds the first two. from the latter depends the combustion and the ash provided. it should be smooth and strongly sheathe the cigar. the color must be almost uniform, otherwise it could be poorly rolled. the quality cigars have a mix of tobacco from different countries (cuba, dominican republic, nicaragua, connecticut, indonesia, ecuador, brazil) which provide them with different flavors and robustness. a well made cigar should be consumed slowly and the ash must be firm. for the first cigar, viviana recommends the longer ones; for experienced smokers, our range of large cigars will provide you rich flavors you are used to.

how to smoke your cigar?

having made your choice, use the guillotine cigar cutter to cut the head. cigar in hand, you turn it on with a match. when the glow is beautiful, gently blow on it to bring the coals. it's time to draw the first puffs. it is not necessary to inhale the smoke as do the cigarette smokers, instead it is recommended to make it turn in his palate to enjoy all the flavors. bigger is the cigar, the more slowly it will burn, and more flavors it will offer. like a fine wine, the cigar works throughout its life. it is possible to keep it more than 10 years in a humidifier usually in a humidity close to 70%.

the quality of our cigars is guaranteed by viviana.

the dominican republic is distinguished for years for its quality products. the best companies are based in santiago de los caballeros, in the center of the country. viviana, a native of this city, made her first class in the prestigious arturo fuente house. successively passed to all positions of the house, she became an expert in the art of blending tobacco and ride them together. in 1999, she decided to create her own brand "viviana cigars". her ring represents the national flower of the country, a hibiscus, and is decidedly feminine. in a male dominated world, she brings her sensitivity. working hard and surrounding herself with women just as talented as she is, her cigars are of equal quality to those of her master, arturo fuente, and are appreciated by worldwide customers"

No wonder guys say you are weird. You seem to imply that I say Santo Domingo is perfect. You re-posted a post I wrote three years ago, after being stopped by "police" in santo domingo for nothing. I was pissed. But I let it go and did not let it consume me with venom and hatred. If they stop me now, I don't take it personal and try to not let it bother me.

In the last three years there have been many improvements to Santo Domingo. If you read all my posts, I visit San Pedro de Macoris every trip. I travel to and in and around Santo Domingo. There are all types, shapes, sizes and colors of women in Santo Domingo. Many people have fun there, lots of fucking going on there.

I will be in Santo Domingo in two days, if I meet doggy women (I am a doggy guy) I will enjoy their company (everyone has something good to offer).

On the map, Five Star International Sports Bar, (809) 688-1908, Ave. Independencia #626, Malecon, Santo Domingo. Has a sort of high wall around the parking area that faces the malecon, not a large rectangular sign that faces the malecon. I never went inside. there is a massage parlor called "centro capilar, estetica & spa r&r" was at no 2 calle cervantes just down from the supermarket.

half a dozen chicas to choose from, a full body massage including handjob was 1000 pesos. i chose a chica i found very attractive a well-built latino chica and she led me into a back room. proper massage table and shower. got naked on the table and the massage was excellent, i mean really good, she was a strong chica and professional.this place is just a brothel masquerading as a massage place and the chicas there are clearly hookers and not qualified massage therapists of any kind. if you got a good strong massage you were just very lucky, because most of the time it would just be an erotic massage without any kind of anatomical knowledge of muscle groups or massage techniques.

it is ok for what it is, and if you are passing through sd and want a shower, a body rub, and a quickie with a condom, then it is fine and reasonably priced for what it is-but it isn't a massage place in any meaningful sense and if you have a bad back or stiff legs after your flight, you might be better off going somewhere else.

He thanked me for posting that other map and he learned something from it (no matter who made it).You don't have the slightest clue dude. There is a "Back channel network" where friends exchange info, pics, and advise that many veterans who have gotten tired of the fake dudes on ISG post. You and several posters on this forum would never be a part of this network because people have already seen through your phoniness. Also none of these guys have ever recommended a bowling alley to me.

And since you choose to slander BQ Ribs name, let me set the record straight. He tried to give the blue print for SD many years ago, but guys didn't understand it. While guys were geeting their money taken at girls house, he was telling guys to go to a baseball game. When you were playing big brother on Pasteur he was pulling normal chics from la sierra. When you were running to GPD with a newbie he was fucking the regular girl from the colmado. When you were renting a car from Alamo, he was fucking the girl that works at Alamo.

Stay in your lane where your bs flies with newbies. But for someone who has been to SD as many times as you have, you have yet to graduate from kindergarten.

The map has interesting info (with the locations pinned on the map):

"Alinka Arte Contemporaneo, Art gallery which features Dominican, Cuban and Haitian artists, among others. Calle Santiago esq. Pasteur. Plaza Jardines de Gazcue, Local 118. Santo Domingo. 809 686 3163".

"Casa Cuesta, If you are looking for nice things for the home, this is one of the larger stores that has a great selection. There is also a bookstore in the same building, which I believe is one of the largest in Santo Domingo. http://casacuesta.com/tienda/main.asp"

"Dr. Gabriel Socias, A dental clinic with a really talented and professional dentist, Dr. Gabriel Socias. He specializes in dental surgery and speaks perfect English. http://www.clinicasocias.com/"

"M. Y. Gourmet, Great Chinese restaurant with fresh food and extremely reasonable prices. Avenida Benito Gonzalez #70, Barrio Chino, Santo Domingo. 809. 682. 2861"

"Mei Gui Sushi Bar & Restaurante Asiatico, One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. Not only do they serve Chinese food, but sushi, tempura and other Asian delights. Fresh ingredients and reasonable prices make this place a great find. Highly recommended."

"Tennis Courts, As part of the Centro Olimpico Park, there are some nice tennis courts that are free to use. You can also use the courts (for a fee) at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel & Casino. Also Club Naco."

Good info an this map (sexual orientation of the the guy who made it, doesn't matter to me).

That's true Frannie. But what do you recommend. Slip on Me? They do no fucking there and no penetration. At least you get some pussy at Centro and I like to be inside the pussy and laying between the legs and tits. But that is just me. What do you recommend Frannie? I am willing to try other spots as well!I think it is best to separate out whether you want a massage or sex, otherwise you will end up with the worst of both worlds, not decent massage and lousy sex. Here are a few addresses for legitimate massage.

http://infopaginas.do/business/DR/santo-domingo/massage/31-71-32620.html

It is fairly easy to find sex in Santo Domingo, either from streetwalkers, classified ads, or by going to one of the several clubs that any taxi driver will take you to. Since you are looking for "high-end" places, the slight additional cost should not be a problem.

Ultimately whether the sex is any good will depend a lot on the quality of the interaction with the chica and your success at forming a rapport with her so that she wants to give you enjoyable sex. This is completely independent of the location where you find the chica and regardless of whether it is cheap or expensive. Try not to think of it in terms of locating a business, but in terms of places where you have an opportunity to meet attractive and willing young women.

Also, Jao there is place right across from the barcelo. It is called rumba bar and grill it is 1000 international plaza. It is in a little strip mall. It was under renovation when I left. How it works is you sit and have drinks with girls no take out. You have to get the number and meet later you tip her for having drinks with you. I met a hot chick in there that I hooked up with her later. If you walk out barcelo you take a right cross highway and take right and walk up about 500 yards and you will see it in a strip mall you guys might want to check it out but again no take out on the spot you have to get the girls number, but some hot chicks were in there the last time I went. Not sure what it will be like after renovation.

My feet and ankles get swollen on those long plane rides and I will need a true massage.

Thanks in advance.Massage won't help much with this problem. Edema of the feet and ankles is often caused by a failure of blood return to the heart.

You might want to get checked out by a cardiologist for any circulatory problems. Even if you don't think this is a real problem now, it could be an early indicator of a developing serious disease process, or a heart or liver problem that might respond to medication. The fact that you experience this each time you fly a long distance is a red light.

You could try wearing elastic pressure stockings for the flight.

If your feet are swollen and you get a massage, it will probably just hurt like hell and not do much good, and could make the condition worse.

You might also want to discuss with your doctor if it is safe for you to take drugs like Viagra and similar, if you are considering that.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_massage_is_contraindicated_during_pitting_edemaI agree with Frannie on this you need to get that checked out. I spoke to my neighbor in my building last night. He said his calf felt bad like a cramp and was swollen. He kept on trying to massage it out, but when he finally went to the doctor he had a blood clot in his calf that was moving to his heart which could have caused a severe stroke. We all know a stroke can end yor mongering career fast.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_massage_is_contraindicated_during_pitting_edemaI agree with you Frannie, I did go to the doctor but I am very fine. No cardiac or circulatory problems. I know a lot of people here get Viagra to fuck the girls, but I am too young (Under 40) and my doctor's visit on 4-5-13 she stated I have a low pulse rate due to my exercising 2 hours o cardio a day. I weight 198 and I am 6'5. My waist is 35. So, I recently had a check up and I am fine.

My feet may swell on long flights (9 hours) plus due to positioning and no movement. But it is a common occurance. Why, well in the article it states that: ""About 85 percent of air travel thrombosis victims are athletic" which I am!

http://www.active.com/travel/articles/Travel_and_lower_leg_swelling

Anyway, I would like to know other places for "erotic" massage. I know about Slip on me, but I want to know more around the hotel I will be staying at: Jaraqua. I also hear that the Coppa bar is great for dancing at the Hotel Magna 365. Finally, I would like to know where the most beautiful girls can be found with long natural hair and that are slim AND if there are any bars where I can find Gringos to joke around with that are middle age like me!

Thanks in Advance.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_massage_is_contraindicated_during_pitting_edemaThanks again Frannie. I have another link about athletes and heart rate. This is the reason I believe I may sometimes have swollen feet!

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/heart-rate/AN01906

Again, even though I am middle age I have low cholesterol as of my 4-5-13 physical 110, low blood sugar 4. 9 mg / dl, and low heart rate. I have NO problem getting my dick hard to fuck and it is "brick hard"

Frannie, have you found it safe to walk around at night in Santo Domingo? What about walking the Malecon at night? Is that safe as well. Where is a good nightclub to find the most beautiful women and a restaurant to find beautiful as well!

Thank you!

After reading this forum I've decided to book either BQ or the Marriott for my first voyage to the south of DR. I've mainly stuck to the north for years but time for a change and direct flights on jet blue beat spending half a day in airports. Can someone post the current TLN and short time chica rates for the capital? I'm planning on relaxing most of the trip and pulling chicas from the hotel bar or local spots close by.

The girls never tell the truth, so I was wondering if any of the members on here would know. How much of the 3500 pesos salida fee do the girls get in the casas?

I remember I asked this girl who worked at Sky High how much she got when I payed 3500 to take her out and she replied "3500Pesos". Which was an obvious bold face lie because obviously the house has to get their share of the money!

I would imagine that the share is different for girls who live on their own versus girls who live in the casas. I would assume that the girls who have their own aparments get a much larger percentage than the girls who stay in the casa and the casa has to provide food and shelter for them!

I am flying first class for more movement on the long flight like I did to Rio (9 1/2 hours) out of Charlotte. Being athletic, and just having a physical 4-5-13, I am in very good shape and I am under 40 with low cholesterol. I don't have a blood flow problem.

The only issue I will have is where to get a good erotic massage and how not to get mugged in Santo Domingo even though I am staying in the Jaraqua!

Thanks Alex Deuce!

How much were the girls asking for?I did not ask. My offer to her was a little game. I said I do not like to pay for play. I like you and want romance. I want to go to the beach with you and take you out. So, took her to barcelo Juan Dolio for a couple of days and gave her 2000 pesos in the end. She did not ask but she was off Sunday and took Monday off from work so I gave her money for the day off. Again, this set up is you have to talk to the girl and establish a relationship. You cannot just go in ask for her number and tell her meet me later you have to put some work in. Also, do not just sit down when you walk in look around and pick the girl you want to meet or some random chick will scoop you up. You have to be aggressive when you walk in. I made that mistake the first time I walked in and ended up talking to a fat girl because I did not know better.

What does it matter? What difference does it make?Knowledge, instead of answering the question with a question, it would have been much more beneficial if you had actually contributed an answer. This is the reason why we have a board, so we can ask questions and try to gain more info for our trips. With a name like knowledge you should understand that with the more knowledge you have, the better your vacations will be.

To answer your question, the reason why I asked about their cut is to help myself and others when it comes time to negociate with casa girls. If we know that a girl who lives in the casa only gets 1500pesos of the 3k salida fee, then that helps guys know that they don't need to offer her 3K for her to come to their hotel room. He can offer her 2K knowing that is 500 pesos more than she would have made if he had pulled her from the casa.

I would imagine that the share is different for girls who live on their own versus girls who live in the casas. I would assume that the girls who have their own apartments get a much larger percentage than the girls who stay in the casa and the casa has to provide food and shelter for them! You are right, and the girls who live in the casas may already have received advances on earnings for food or other necessities that they have to repay, so actually they could end up keeping none of the money that you hand over to the house. Some years ago an expatriate American was running a house of ill repute in Puerto Plata and I was able to gain a lot of direct insight into how the business ran, and that was the way it worked, so I imagine it would be the same in Santo Domingo. Of course you had a situation too, in which some of the girls would be incredibly popular and would be taken out at least once on every day that they were available, and others would be very rarely called upon. However, even if some girls were a losing proposition for the house, it may still have been economically viable to keep them on the roster for those occasions when larger groups of customers came in, or just so as to give the impression to customers of plenty of choice.

LOL!Yes, they will do what ever it takes to ensure you cum; however, FS is wildly dependent on the attendent. No doubt about it, and I have had many massages. However foot and ankle swelling means that fluid (plasma) is leaking out from the circulatory system into the tissues and massage is not an effective treatment. What you need to do is to elevate the affected limbs, possibly by wedging up the foot of your bed if it persists.

I have had considerable problems with swollen feet, and believe me I know, massage will not help.

Usually when I enter those places just to look I have been the only one there. It makes me wonder how they stay open. From my observation of there being no customers they should be jumping at every peso they can get.

Isn't 305 about the same price as the other two? So from your reasoning the quality will be the same among the three. So why not go to the other two as well?Where is a nice "INEXPENSIVE" hotel near the Jaraqua where you can rent a room to take a Chica? The Jaragua I will be staying in doesn't allow guests, however, that is okay because the saying goes "You don't shit where you eat."

Any recommendation on an inexpensive hotel, to rent a room to fuck the tender pussy of the Chica?

There is an extreme difference in quality and customer service. I take your post as being facetious at best. My comments were directed to minimum to take of casas and SW's.

All these casa do have attractive girls but they charge like you are in your native land. When you are through there is no GFE. The idea is to get nice looking girls a a good price.

Mine depends on my mood and wants for the day and think haggling with a chic over a few bucks is assinine. I go into no p4p looking for GFE. I have one of them, You pay a puta to leave not lay and cuddle. Attractive is subject to taste.

To: Mr. GO GO. Yes I am Puerto Rican and by you mentioning that you must be prejudiced. You and your crew should know that I know what "Flaquita" is, but not what you purport "Flacita." So your excoriation is spurious. Yes I am a proud Puerto Rican, and just because you are, doesn't mean you know everything about the history of a culture. However, I do know what "Flaquita" is! Who know what the hell you are talking about in "Flacita."I do not know Gogo but I do not think he is 'prejudiced". He was also not excoriating . If anything his was purported to be facetious (spurious means false or fake). It is in fact curious that a Puerto Rican would NOT know a common word like flaca even though mangled in its spelling, so he was merely nonplussed. Apparently he suspects it is a front but I would leave him to his speculation.

What I find hilarious is your writing that tells me a) you cannot or would not RTFF and / or b) your psychological age is that of a teenager. Many in good faith have taken the time to answer your inane questions even though Frannie had long back pointed out the discrepancy.

Stop it Jao! Most latino guys know what a "Cabana" is.In Puerto Rico cabana (cabaña) is either a beach or a country house usually near a river. We call moteles what you know as a cabana. The first time I saw the use of the word cabana for the short rental rooms was here in this forum.

A person with domain of the Spanish language should easily understand that flacita is flaquita with a typo. I also understand that Puerto Ricans raised in the United States do not know a lot of regional words. The correct formal word to describe a slim girl is delgada, flaca is an informal synonym.

About streetgirls, I have seen the most 'wacala' (ewww!) girls on the street but also nice ones, 'que van a toas' (horny woman that please you on every sexual request you have).1000 pesos is ok for short term with a streetgirl. Most streetgirls lack of social skills, you are going to look funny if you take one for dinner lets say, to Vesubio. Most casa girls have social skills and can dress to impress while going with you to a restaurant but you can easily distinguish between a pretty nicely dressed casa chica and a rich pretty lady most times. Anyway, sex skills are the most important of the abilities the woman have and you can find it in a streetgirl or a rich or educated woman.

Girls I have met on internet have provided me the most pleasant experiences in Santo Domingo. Last summer I spent hours and hours of non stop sex with a affluent woman, she proved right Tego Calderon reggaeton lyrics 'las mas finas son las mas putas'.

Casa puta, street puta, church puta, colmadon puta, campo puta, find the puta that fits most your tastes and everything is going to be alright.

All my internet babes have rocked my world. Going to a disco thinking you are going to find a ready willing talent is a joke. Most of us are creatures of habit and do as little as possible to attain our girls. I have the time and talent to cultivate girls that I like. No casas for me but I sport fuck in Sosua sometimes. However nothing beats having sweet Cupid chica in my bed in the morning with a wet ready pussy. If I only wanted a nut I could jerk off. Casas are one step up from that. To each his own. This site is to educate guys own how to get their grove on. Our requirements are all different. I want guys to know what is possible. Personaly I am having an awesome time and do not mine sharing methodology.

You can find free pussy and gold if you look long enough. If she is not a puta she is not giving pussy on your first date. She will make you wait. If you are selling a bunch of lies and she is stupid maybe. Who has time for that kind of crap shoot. Much cleaner to pay for what you want or deal honestly with a chica. I would rather pay then BS these girls. These girl are paid terrible wages. I love treating them to a good time and kicking them some cash to boot, Heck I can afford it.

If you are selling a bunch of lies and she is stupid maybe. We must be going to different Dominican Republics then. I deal with way more non-putas than putas and I can only remember 4 times that I did not fuck a non-puta on the first date, and one of those times I was new in DR and did not speak a lick of Spanish. I don't go expecting it, but it happens. They are human beings. I don't lie to them. I don't give them taxi money or none of that bs. My newest girl is in Higuey. She just graduated with a degree in tourism and she has a job. I told her prior to us dealing with each other that I was not getting married and I did not want a girlfriend. That shit always goes in one ear and out the other though. She is still begging asking why I don't want her to be my girlfriend because she already considers me her boyfriend. When I go there I stay in her house and SHE buys the food and cooks. (Tempoecorto, I guess the cold water wasn't that bad, but the week after next I'm looking into putting some heated water in that shower anyway.) I just hit her up and asked if she has any Ron Barcelo in the house. She said,"No but I can buy it for you." She said she will buy Barcelo Imperial (no idea what that is because I have never drank Barcelo rum in my life, but my boy said Barcelo was some good shit and $20 from duty free) and we can drink it together.

I will say though, as usual, if you aren't doing the shit at home then don't go to a foreign land expecting to do it. The other day in my city (Atlanta) I met a chick from Trinidad. I told her that she would have to take me out. She said she would but it would have to be McDonald's or something. I said I didn't give a shit where it was as long as she was paying. I like Big Macs too. She told me it would have to be another time because she just paid bills and didn't have money. (What is up with these broke ass batches? I'm asking for credit reports from now on.)

I ended up taking her to a new wing spot that just opened down from her house. She got 6pc wings and a drink ($16 because it was a 16 wing with fries and 2 drink combo for us both). Then I took her to a bar and we had one drink ($7 each. I even bought some girl in the club a drink who was in town from Kansas City and said it was her birthday-so I'm not always a Cheap Charlie.) Then I told her that we were going to my house because I had a special drink I wanted to experiment with. We got there and I blended Limoncello with brown cane sugar and ice and before I knew it we were fucking like rabbits. She was a stone cold freak. I drove her home at 4am. Why should shit operate any differently in the Dominican Republic?

Based on what you say you display a pimp mentality. I find pimps dispicable. Average girl in the DR with a job makes less then 50 bucks a week for a 6 day week. I have non pro chicas who I spoil as I would do in the US if I could afford it. I am old school from the time when men were gentlemen (forgotten concept). Real men take care of their women and their children cause we are men. Paying for a cab for a chica who making me happy is a good thing. Being kind and generous to someone who takes care of your needs is not a weakness it is something you should do.

I am just keeping the illusion real.

You have.I'm a long way from pimping now. In 89 and 90 yes, but 2013 why bother. I have money now and do not need money from a woman. What I decribed is nothing like pimping. I described women wanting to "take care" of me the same way you feel you want to take care of them. I don't need to give gifts, taxi money, or cash to have a woman like me and want to be with me. If that is a description of pimping to you then so be it. Besides, why would you have a gripe with the person on the receiving end? It would make more sense to have your beef with the giver. If the giver didn't want to give then the receiver damn sure wouldn't be able to receive.

The main point is that you said if a chick fucks you on the first date then she is a prostitute. And all I was saying is that couldn't be farther from the truth, because normal women fuck on the first date the same as normal men do. I'm not much into illusions because they are not real at all.

The main ones who holler they are against pimping are the first ones who will be up in a casa where all the women are being pimped.

In any case, I kind of side with Oldkool: knowing how much they make, I would never be able to go any other way. Why should shit operate any differently in the Dominican Republic?Enternational! Those are the truest words I have heard! As I stated you don't have to pay for pussy, if you are attractive, fit, smart, personable, tall, without a pot gut, pasty or a bigoted moderator with a complete waste of band with. As you stated Mr. Enternational, Santo Domingo women are not ALL working girls! They are even 50% working girls, or 40% working girls. They are regular people living an honest and decent life that want families and love. If you hang out with the working girls you get the working girls. If you lay with the dogs you get fleas.

If you are attractive, you will draw women to give you FREE pussy in Dominican Republic, just like anywhere! All women will fuck sometime in their lives and it is not about paying or waiting. I always fuck on the first date in my entire lifetime! Santo Domingo is no different. If a Chica finds you are attractive, her pussy will get wet and she will want to fuck. Also, since women want a relationship, they will want to lock you down, and do it by giving up pussy.

Improve your look, get fit and have some style and you will get some pussy for free! As Enternations stated, I have women buy stuff for me all the time, however, I can't be bought and I do turn down a lot of gifts because I know the intention and the strings attached. I just want to fuck. No relationship. And if the girl is Cookoo for coco puffs over you, it won't make a difference, she will still try and she will still stick around even if you are honest. Most of all she will still give you that pussy if you are attractive!

But again, I FULLY agree with Entertainer, about the Santo Domingo / D. R. Girls and getting pussy."If you can't get pussy in your home country, don't expect it in Santo Domingo!"

(I would assume this forum (ISG) is about Fucking Pussy and where to find pussy. NOT paying for it!

Entertainment. EXCELLENT response and comment!

I love treating them to a good time and kicking them some cash to boot, Heck I can afford it.Are you kidding? 20-something non-pro girls in the US are fucking guys on one-night stands all the time. Unfortunately, it's generally with guys in their 20s (ah the memories!). And the girls in Santo Domingo are doing the same thing. Girls like sex too (again generally with someone closer to their age).

The rest of your post pretty much agrees with mine. On a short vacation to the DR, it's much simper ("cleaner") just to pay upfront. IMO, it's a beautiful thing to be able to fuck a hot-looking girlfor an hour or two, then have her leave so you can get a good night's sleep. I can't think of a better way to spend $50 or so, and that money means an awful lot to her.

Enternational!

The guys here almost all are in the 40 plus range. So having 20 year girls lusting after us is a pipe dream. What is real is that they will love what is in your pocket and do all kinds of nice things to it. This just fine with. Money in pockets trumps all the other BS.

Ones not acting like Mongers speaking passable spanish are readily accepted by both family and friends. You won't get many teenagers as you would in a casa but you will get lots of ladies in their mid 20's looking for a Novios.

The issues arise when you have post menopausal males chasing non-pro ladies 30 years their junior. Hold up, I got a buddy in Santiago that's 66 with a 24 year old GF and 2 year old.

I guess the only one in this thread full of BS is the limited person that leads with his wallet. You treat a woman the way she deserves to be be treated. You pay to get what you either can't or don't want to invest the time or emotion to get.

It has been some ten years since I was last in Santo Domingo. I am certain that much has changed but one thing that I have never none to change any where in the world is mans, or for the sake of this forum, womans, desire for money. Yes pussy but even greater is money I think. When I was last in the DR I was the guest of some very well off gentlemen. One night after dinner we, the party of about eight men, were presented with some 10. 12 young beautiful DR ladies to whom we could take home to our hotel. My choice was quick and simple and of we went. After multiple rounds I assumed she would be leaving, in stead she asked to stay the night to which I agreed. The next day I telephoned my friend who said to let her stay by the pool etc. And have her again that after night and evening. So I did. At the end of the night again I assumed she would leave but she wanted to stay. I told her sorry and sent her on her way but before she left she asked could she see me in the nighttime to which I agreed. That third night she calls from the lobby of my hotel to where I had to go and retrieve her through the security. To my surprise she had a friend with her. For the next 10. 12 I had any way possible with both of these cuties until I was exhausted. Understand at this point I was about 37 and these chic as were 19 and 20 at the oldest. In the morning I sent them both away and I was DONE however I did joke with the original chic that she should bring all her friends with her next time we meet. She and I laughed and off they went. Some two, maybe three days later I get a all from Hotel security telling me,"Sir, your party is in the lobby." I went down stairs and to my shock and surprise there was my original chic with four girlfriends, yes five in total. Well I do not need to go into the story but needles to say we had a lot of fun for about 12 hours. At the end of my trip my friend who was hosting me asked if I had enjoyed the girl, I told him everything that had happened and we had a great laugh. I then asked my friend what did I owe him her, who ever for the four nights? He asked, did you feed her, YES, did she use your room your bathroom your tower, YES, did she sit by the pool and order anything, YES. OK, give her $100. One hundred dollars? NO, Not possible. He said yes. I gave her $200 and she smiled like crazy and kissed my face all over.

What my friend explained to me was that these girls live four to six in a studio apartment with no air condition, and maybe eat one good meal a day. The fact that she had food, a pool, a big comfortable bed, quite to sleep, a bathtub, and got fucked, was a dream for her and for you also.

Anyway that was my experience but I am certain much has changed or hasn't changed?

There is no such thing as "Free pussy" you pay for it one way or another. Most of the time the pay 4 play pussy is the cheapest option.

I've heard that when you pay a pro for sex, you're not paying for the sex, your paying her to leave.

Things have not changed that much. The girls still have tough lives and will fuck you until you can not walk. Friends and family everything is on the table if they can hang with you and enjoy the good life for a while. I will say you really got lucky. I have had several ladies I know offer to bring friends to breakup things. They knew I was out to get vacation pussy and was not wifing up. In their view this helped keep them in the game. Pulling upper class chicas 20 years younger then me or impoverished girls buying drinks LOL and the Easter bunny are things I do not seek. It is a lot easier to get what you want when you are up front. I have converted ST SWs to dating friends. When I go to the DR sex is one of my priorites but enjoying female companionship is also on the menu. The idea is to have a good time and not hurt or abuse anyone.

Making a return to SD in two weeks and need a quick refresher:

1. Current charge for a taxi from the airport to George Waghington / Malecon? Last I was down, I believe it was $30 or $35.

2. Any input on more-less a safe local spot for a Gringo to hang out, watch some American baseball. No, not looking for Champions, been there, done that. I recall there was a place down the street from the casinos and strip clubs on Independencia, may have used to have been a strip club, where security will pat you down. Reason being, they have a booking operation inside the bar. Just want someplace where I can watch a game and check out some local non-pros or semi-pros at the same time. I was thinking Hooters might be an option?

There is no such thing as "Free pussy" you pay for it one way or another. This is one of the perennial themes here. The other one is (or was?) SD vs. Sosua.

I agree with that thought entirely. No free nothing.universally but given that you live in the DR, I presume you have better insight into the DR psyche.

I think two different groups are talking about two different things: the first group is into girl-friends and are not unwilling to spend time and emotional energy. They think they get it free. The second group. For whatever reason, dearth of time, language, argue in favor of money. I am in a limbo here. Sex without an emotional connection is just plain boring. On the other hand, I am not into girl friends so money works for me. Goes without saying, treating the women with respect, always helps.

Frankly, I would rather pay then spend countless hours sitting on bar stool listen to some girls BS when I could be fucking.I've had all sorts of girls in my years. One free girl comes to mind. I'm in my early 20's living in Brooklyn, NY. I used to work in TV and had free tickets to the knicks. I took a friends cousin, she was real cute and willing to put out.

We go out, great seats, comp'ed food, waiter service, etc. Get back to her place, get to fucking and it's great. She lived near my train stop, had to switch to a bus to get to my house from the train. I stopped by every night from work, she was in college so she was home every night studying. Got my rocks off every day with her, we never went anywhere, ordered in Chinese or pizza once in a while. I just wanted to get my rocks off. After a few weeks of this she wanted to sit around and talk instead of screwing. I obliged. Then she wanted to play cards, then backgammon. She was horrible at backgammon and I am very good. One night I stop by and she insists on playing until she wins. I figure she'll give in after a while. An hour goes by and she doesn't win, I decide to throw the game and she figures it out, now she's pissed. I wasted hours, no pussy, I had to go take care of myself.

Moral of the story, when paying for it: It is almost guaranteed lay and if not you have rights to complain. With "free pussy" it comes a time when they are not in the mood, or they get pissed with you or they get tired and just want to sleep. They get complacent. When a straight transaction, there is no tired, there is no I'm not in the mood. If so, boot them and get the next one.

I agree that non-pro pussy is the best, but it certainly ain't free.

There is not such a thing as free pussy but there is a difference. 90% of the girls that I have fuck in DR have been regular women. I don't hand them money after with have sex but shitttt, I pay for their food, drinks and some occasional gifts just like you would do it here in USA. On my last trip I had a chick that I met in Facebook. She picked me up at the airport, I brought her 2 different Georgio Armani perfumes. She stayed by my side 5 days straight with me and in those 5 days I only gave her 1,000 so she could go to the salon and get her hair done. So, if you can't get "free pussy" in DR you are doing something wrong!

I won't visit places that are hung up and has ridiculous laws for fucking or just in general like the middle east. Even the UK you can fuck easier and with less stigma than the US and in the UK prostitution is legal! I visited Paris and they show XXX movies on regular TV for FREE! They love fucking over there! I agree with what Entertainment stated."If you can't get free pussy in your own country (or words to that effect) , don't expect it anywhere else." Why, because women still want to fuck and if you are very handsome, young, fit, well-dressed, stylish and have all your hair with a nice tan, women will drip at the pussy. You sound like a 20 year old with no life experience. I would rarely accept gifts or women paying for my meal while I was dating in US and definitely not from the economicaly challenged women in the DR. I have known men all my life who thought having a women pay their way made them big men. (Huge Joke) Part of being a man in my book is being able to take care of your self and your women and children. You are new to this site. The average guy here is probably close to 50. We are not here to find long term girlfriends but most are open to all options. Sure as a young single guy I did not need the DR for 20 year old pussy. 30 years later bring on the DR. So ask your self if you have all this game WTF you in the DR. It is so frowned on for 50 plus guys to date and fuck 20 year old pussy all most no one does it. Atleast not in public.

Some of the recent discussions have made consider what is the best chica for me. Sport fucking in Sosua is a wild card. You can bang 8 or 9 girls in a very short time. However based on all my experiences I think my best chica was an ex pro. Mildre is in her early 30s. She fucks like the ever ready bunny. If you are willing she was ready. She is the girl who you take for granit and regret it. She understood that I might want to sport fuck and would offer to find another girl. She gave awesome GFE and would do anything in bed you could think of. Non pros want the promise of a relationship. Mildre wanted to spend time with me and a few gifts. In truth the true wild card is variety. Us boys want new fresh young pussy when you are 60 years old. All this is possible in the DR.

Guys be careful not sure how this will work?

Santo Domingo- Any man who goes to brothels in the capital and Santiago for sexual services will be arrested, booked and charged with solicitation, Justice minister Francisco Dominguez warned Wednesday, adding that the measure will begin in five specific points.

"And men who go to obtain that type of service, for example, we're going to arrest them, those citizens will be charged with pandering, and if they make bail, give them what they want, but they'll be booked with a criminal record and will have to pay bond, and so that will occur at several points," the official said.

Brothels.

Dominguez said the first brothels to be staked out are those on the Malecon (Washington Av.) , on the Sarasota, Duarte and Ortega why Gasset, and in Santiago Calle del Sol.

"He who takes advantage of a woman's poverty, in a position of vulnerability, that's clearly stated as an act of pandering," the official said in an interview by the Corripio Media Group, accompanied by Police chief Jose A. Polanco, Interior and Police minister Jose Ramon Fadul.

"And men who go to obtain that type of service, for example, we're going to arrest them, those citizens will be charged with pandering, and if they make bail, give them what they want, but they'll be booked with a criminal record and will have to pay bond, and so that will occur at several points," the official said.

This is kind a late and interesting to see if it plays out. If so, it will be a set of staggering raids and and political will.

8. Soliciting prostitutes outlawed in Dominican Republic.

Attorney General Francisco Dominguez Brito has announced that soliciting the services of a prostitute in the Dominican Republic is now against the law. The authorities have been tolerant towards prostitution in the past. Dominguez Brito announced that men caught soliciting the services of a prostitute would be arrested and files on them would be recorded in the judiciary.

Dominguez Brito said that the government would intervene in prostitution centers that are located on George Washington (Malecon) , Sarasota, Duarte, and Ortega why Gasset avenues in Santo Domingo and Calle Del Sol in Santiago."Whoever takes advantage of the poverty of a woman in a situation of vulnerability, the law establishes clearly and rates this as pimping," said Dominguez.

He made the statement during the Corripio Communications Group Weekly Luncheon event, which was also attended by Major General Jose Armando Polanco Gomez, Minister of Interior and Police Jose Ramon Fadul and deputy minister of Interior and Police Washington Gonzalez.

Dominguez Brito said they would not be penalizing sex workers, as reported in El Dia. The attorney general said that his office would be sending people to patrol the areas,"so that people know they are there." Dominguez Brito clarified only the clients would be arrested and sent to justice, not the prostitutes.

I find pimps dispicable. So according to the Attorney General, the top law man in the DR, Old Kool is in actuality a pimp in the eyes of the Dominican government, and therefore finds himself despicable. How do you like them apples? I can't wait to see how this plays out. Looks like you boys had better start looking for some of that free pussy that doesn't exist. LOL

Brothels and bachata dancing are as dominican as apple pie. The life blood of casas are the locals. Dominican have used casas for generations. I doubt this has any teeth but we will see. I do not use casas so this will have very little affect on me. THE PART THAT BLOWS MY MINE is brothels are illegal but they are not shutting them down. They plan to stake out the brothels for customers. Mr E pandering and Pimping are 2 different things.

It is funny that they are focusing on the tourist areas in the Malecon / Gazcue. They must want to clean that area up for the anglos, especially since they stated that will be first. Now, those who must pay for pussy monger will go to jail according to the Attorney General! Mongers beware! Prostitution is now illegal as of May 9, 2013 in All of the Dominican Republic!

It seems to me that what they are saying is that pimping is illegal, and that therefore brothels are illegal since there are owners getting a cut of what the girls bring in, paying taxi drivers to bring them in, etc. In an attempt to reduce the numbers of brothels, they are threatening to arrest the customers and charge them with participating in pimping, since if the number of customers (Johns) dries up, the brothels will go out of business (they hope).

On the other hand, if the girls are self employed, or doing sex for tips without part of the money going to others, then it is perfectly legal to pay for sex.

The laws in the DR are somewhat similar to the laws in Britain, where prostitution is legal, but brothels are not legal, nor is street walking, but prostitution via, for example, the Internet is OK where the woman is the principal and there is no one else involved. I understand that there are many massage parlor places in Britain that act as de facto brothels, and they may be in a legal gray area, and subject to closure, which seems more similar to what we are seeing in the DR.

If prostitution per se is now really wholly illegal, then expect to see a complete collapse of the cabana industry and the hotel industry in places like Sosua. I don't think it is going to happen.

They are embarrassed and want to be seen as doing something. Could be real change coming and used to go after some people that were being protected (casa owners) or simply loud talk. When he did something similar in 2005, it was raids every weekend and paddywagons full of SW's. That slowly recedes in a few weeks.

Santo Domingo (eldia. Com. Do).* Justice minister Francisco Dominguez's warning Thursday that johns (men) who seek sex partners in brothels and streets will be caught and booked has roiled the workers who hawk that service at the notorious downtown area of Centro de Los Heroes.

"There are customers who've called us to tell us that they won't come. Most of them tell us that it's better in some other place. This has been slow here today, not one customer has been here, and all those who pass say the same thing,"said Carla Matos. 23, who like other sexual workers rebukes the measure citing the children they raise as the result of their work.

Se said she had to become a prostitute to be able to raise her children.

For Jennifer Paniagua and Cynthia Garrido, the move could actually increase crime, since many of them would have to look to the underworld because of lack of opportunities and jobs.

"What we'll have to do in a couple of days will be to go out and rob and kill people, because imagine, we can't do nothing else. I will not let my children starve," Paniagua said.

Well, now that paying for pussy is out of question, I ought to lose weight, get fit, have plastic surgery, invent a time machine to roll back my age. Then I should be able to truly get some free pussies. But then the women will be buying me drinks and cooking me meals so they can get to my cock. Will that make them "female johns / janes"? I wouldn't want to get any of my free pussies arrested.

If prostitution per se is now really wholly illegal, then expect to see a complete collapse of the cabana industry and the hotel industry in places like Sosua. I don't think it is going to happen.Prosecutor announces shutdown of all brothels.

All the prostitution centers, including those where women dance in the nude, will be shutdown by the authorities, Prosecutor General Francisco Domínguez Brito announced today.

The official said that those shutdowns include not just the massage centers but all those where there is prostitution.

"The Public Prosecutor's Office has instructions at the national level, not only the National District Office, but also the Vice and Illicit Traffic Department. Different offices of the Public Prosecutor have carried out similar raids and we are supporting the work of the entire Public Prosecutor, ' said the official in a press conference.

Domínguez Brito said the raids resulted not just from the case of the minors but everything related to prostitution.

He said that there are many people in the country who take advantage of women's poverty to take them to those centers and to abuse them, and as a consequence Dominican Republic is seen as a nation where sexual favors are offered.

The Prosecutor General said that it is not possible for the country to continue being sold abroad as a sexual destination, reason why all centers of that nature will be closed.

"Absolutely all, without distinction. Boca Chica has been a priority for the Public Prosecutor. Today Boca Chica is not the same as it was four or five months ago and still there are difficulties, but we are going to follow-up," he said.

Last Thursday the National District Public Prosecutor's Office closed several massage parlors in the capital.

According to the National District's Public Prosecutor Office, in the centers shutdown were found drugs, synthetic penises,"erotic chairs" and handcuffs for sadomasochism.

For his part, National District Public Prosecutor Jose Manuel Hernandez Peguero said that in the "Center of Aesthetics Omi," located in Leonor de Ovando street, in Gazcue, were found some 1.5 pounds marijuana, with Jose Manuel Lopez being arrested in that raid.

He added that 102 women and 28 men were arrested, with 12 massage parlors shutdown in Gazcue and in the University Zone.

In those businesses, according to the officials, there was prostitution and drugs and numerous minors were used in unlawful practices. They said that last Thursday night. 102 women arrested and later released without posting bond. 28 men were questioned and others would be indicted.

Among the massage parlors shut down are the Reyna Cubana, Cisnes Relax Club, Elegante Center and Estefany Club. Also business without signs in Santiago, Leonor de Ovando, Danae, Cervantes, Deligne Brothers, Socorro Sanchez, Independencia and Doctor Delgado streets, all in the Gazcue sector.

If you have been visiting the DR for some years, you have seen this dance before. A new Mayor, a new Deputy of tourism, or just a new Deputy all flex when they take over. Usually in the DR that means its time to re-negotiate with the incoming regime. But their could be pressure from other countries, lets not forget that the DR President just had a meeting with Obama in CR. Also A Cuban casa owner that also lives in Miami partime said that their is a group of non-Dominicans that have been buying in Gascue, that don't want the casas there. Gascue is becoming the premier retirement spot for gringos. The malecon has new parks and family oriented venues. The casas have alot of power and I don't see them going anywhere soon.

Remember when Sosua went through its transition. There was supposed to be a kite tournament on Sosua beach, new vendors, sheets on clubs and a tourist friendly enviornment. This was two years ago and nada ahora. Then they were going to close the street and then the next week tables werent allowed. Parking enforcement, motochoncho enforcement and chica roundups came and went. That was "New Money" having to re-negotiate. The Dominicans are masters at telling you what you want to hear and showing initial action to get the "New Money". Then when the "New Money" gets fed up with the bs and balks, the next "New Money" comes into play.

But it makes you wonder with the timing. Two weeks before the Memorial day weekend? Kill tourism before an important Holiday? Maybe it was designed to make the family groups feel the DR was taking p4p serious. I'm selfish because I'm planning on living on the malecon in two years and I don't mess with casas girls. So this really means nothing to me.
