Mystik is located next door to Girl House. There always seems to be a lot of foot traffic and auto traffic until late at night.
If you want a quiet peaceful chica friendly hotel Jaguar Hotel/Studio is the place to stay. Rafael the owner speaks English and the staff is wonderful. I just returned from the DR staying at Jaguar.

You can't go wrong with that decision. Costa Rica and Rio are by far much better places than Santo Domingo. For first time visitors to the DR I always suggest Sosua. Santo Domingo is a very nice city if you know your way around town and are there for more than just chasing chicas.

With all due respect, since I have never been to CR, I nevertheless disagree. And I have been to Rio dozens of times. And while I love the place, SD is terrific.
All of the DR is great for guys like me (> 50 years old) who want to meet 20 somethings non pros (or semi pros) and have great sex. I paid 250 pesos for a small presidente in the Jaragua Casino, with a tip, it was like 8 dollars. I went to one disco and a few bars. To buy a bottle of vodka at the discoteca L.E.D. was over one hundred dollars. I live in New York and the nightlife prices in Santo Domingo are on par with some places in New York City. I didn't see too many people ordering bottles of rum. Mostly Grey Goose or Belvedere Vodka and some Scotch. But like any city there are always less expensive places to get a drink. A nicer, more popular bar or club can get away with charging more. I bought a large bottle of presidente in a colmado for 70 pesos, three times less than what the Jaragua charges for a small beer. Sometimes you have to pay for the location and the ambiance. I don't drink rum, but it is cheap in the Dominican Republic. The better clubs, discos and bars in Santo Domingo will charge more. There are less expensive bars in Santo Domingo but they may not be as glamorous or populated with the higher end Dominicans.

There is a bakery netx to Discovery hotel on Independencia Ave near the El Conde entrance that sells jumbo (32 oz.) Presidentes for $2. Colmadones (small grocery stores) around the city near the touristic area sells at similar prices.
Makumba disco have Presidente happy hours, 5 large ones for 200 pesos (near $6) once or twice a week. This disco is supposed to be unexpensive so I think $90 for a bottle of liquor is too much.
La Parada, an open terrace near el Jaragua is a nice place to hang at night, large beers 95 pesos always very cold. Some pretty girls as waitress, I think some of them also works at La Parada massage house which is next to the bar.
There are vendors at the sea side of el malecon who sells unexpensive drinks too.
Pacos and D'Luis Parrillada have moderate prices.
Jaragua, Mercure, Hard Rock Cafe drinks are expensive.

But your interpretation of what happened was all wrong. The $90 was extortion by the bar, clear and simple. When I complained, they sent over a guy who was clearly willing to smash my face in. My hustling cab driver had nothing to do with it, and I am certain he did not get a kickback. Not that he was above this, but the bar had no reason to share with him. I must say that I did not imagine this would strike anyone as hard to do. Let's not get the two hotels confused. There is the Jaragua Hotel/Casino and there is the Jaguar Apart/Hotel (hotel in question). Jaguar Apart/Hotel is a two block walk North of Independencia. At night I would always walk in the middle of the street since the street is very dark and quiet at night.

Jaragua Hotel/Casino is NOT chica friendly. Sometimes you can get away with sneaking a chica in but for the most part they do not allow guests. I have stayed at Jaragua twice but I checked in with a chica and she was the only one to come and go.
You can search the Santo Domingo forum for a listing of Casas in SD. I usually hang around Pacos Restaurant during the daytime or the street girls on Avenida Independencia late at night.
If you are new to SD I think Girls House on Avenida Pasteur would be your best bet. I don't like the casa scene so maybe other posters will provide more information.
Another option is to find a reliable taxi driver. For a small fee they will deliver you anything. The hotel staff (males) are good sources for finding chicas, again, for a small fee.
If you have been to Sosua do NOT expect Santo Domingo to be anything like Sosua.
I will be making my first trip to SD next week.

Thank you.Boca Chica is about 25 minutes away by car. If you are driving you will have to pay a toll going towards Boca Chica. The tolls work as follows. Some are exact change with a basket, the other ones you drive up to toll booth and they have a worker there in a booth, they usually will not accept very large bills and by large, 1000 peso bill is large (which is like 30 dollars), you give the worker your paper money and she gives you change in coins and then you drive about ten feet and you throw the correct amount in coins in a basket. The worker does not collect the toll, she only gives you change in coins for paper money. This toll going towards Boca Chica is about 30 pesos, about a dollar. Going back to Santo Domingo you don't pay.
Going East, Boca Chica is probably the closest mongering destination to Santo Domingo. The next town after Boca Chica is Juan Dolio, I saw no putas in Juan Dolio. The next city after Juan Dolio is San Pedro de Marcoris, I did not see anything special in San Pedro de Marcoris.
Going west from Santo Domingo is Bani and other towns, which I never experienced. Going north is in the direction of Santiago, La Vega, Bonao, Moca and others. Do not seem to be prime mongering spots.
Depends if you want daytime action or nighttime action, or both, plenty of info in the posts here about Santo Domingo and Boca Chica.

I'll be in SD next month, and after going back through a lot of posts over the last 2 years, it looks like Hotel Palacio might be a good choice. (Pro posters like Forest and Smokers Rule spoke well of it anyway.) Just wanted to know if anyone has stayed there recently, and if you could comment on the quality and chica-friendliness -- these still hold true?

This is a good recommendation. You might also want to go out to Boca Chica, which is the beach town for Santo Domingo, where there are all kinds of mongering possibilities.

The best strategy depends a lot on your Spanish skills. If you don't speak any Spanish, stick to the casas where there is usually a girl who speaks English. Jaragua may have English speaking chicas as well.
If you do speak Spanish, I have a rigorous work out schedule that works for me! I suggest that you begin each day by looking for a regular girl to invite for dinner. Go shopping, and ask a store girl. Or, buy a coffee on the conde and ask a waitress.
After you have handed out your invitation, go looking for a street girl on Conde or the Parque Colón/ Columbus Park for a little afternoon sex. This can often be a challenge, but if you amble around for an hour, you are likely to find someone interested in you.
After an afternoon sojourn, it will be time to hook up with the lucky chica you invited to dinner during the morning hours. On the first date, she is likely to turn you down when you invite her back to your hotel. Head off for one of the casas mentioned above if that happens. Go short time with a bona fide "9" or "10" from Sky House/Girl House/Casa de Modelos/etc (NEVER long time with these girls- they never stay the night even if you pay for long time). Then, take a nap to replenish the spirit and the juices. Head off to Jaragua about 1 am or so.
There are all sorts of possibilities at the Jaragua, ranging from the not-so-pretty girls playing the slots to the very pretty girls who are gambling alone (they are ALL available in my experience) and, apparently, even the girls who work there. I have never managed to successfully hook up with one of the casino girls, in part because I don't try (having read here that they get out of work at 4 am). I think best exchanges rates on El Conde are Pollo Rey and Frank el Azuano. I prefer Frank because of faster service. Exchange on frank today is 35 pesos per dollar. Check DR1 webpage for exchange rates on specific locations.
I am going to be in Santo Domingo tomorrow and my taxi guy is going to pick me at the airport with a chica in his "jeepeta".

Don't know the name of the place but there's an exchange directly across from KFC on El Conde. Go inside the small walk-in mall and they buzz you into the cambio. I've always found the best exchange rates there.

You guys have been a big help (and the same goes for a lot of other people on this site). The 3 times I've been to the DR have been limited to Puerto Plata (mainly BBs), so this will be my first time there 'flying solo'. But with all the intel I've been able to collect from the 'old hands', it sounds like my problem will not be finding action there.- but rather if I can handle it all!

The thing that is weird to me with this hotel is that they definitely price to their market, but they are never full. The prices have creeped up over the years. I have tried to talk to management to negotiate a lower price for unfilled rooms (or even just a free upgrade), and nothing doing. Honestly, the location is not spectacular. If the hotels on the Malecon were cooler about bringing chicks in the Palacio would go under.

I totally agree. Look...people who come to the DR and stay at nice hotels are not all Americans. People who are not Americans are used to guys buying girls' time. If I were a hotel manager, I would allow girls at no fee, but I would require them to be signed in. I would also maintain strict rules. But it's dumb that we can't go to SDQ, stay in a nice hotel, and bang chicks in it (discreetly, of course).

I just came back from a short trip to Santo Domingo. I hired the services of Luiz which phone number was posted on this page. He promised to pick me up to the airport whith a non pro chica for which I agreed to pay him $40 for airport transfer to the city. He called me the night before of my travel to introduce me to the girl, supposedly a sweet 19 year old non pro neighbor. She was so sweet, shy and nice by phone. I arrived Friday night and he was waiting me with two girls: a pretty white blonde and a nicely big chested brunnette. He told me that they were into 3somes so I agreed. Shortly after we left we began to chat and I noticed that the girl's voice was not the same of the chica I talked over the phone the night before. They even looks more like casa girls.
Luiz took me to Hotel Jaguar where I rented a nice room for $60 per night (I think is the same room mentioned in this forum for $55). Luiz requested $40 additional dollars and I asked why, he told me that the girls were from San
Cristobal and it is like half an hour from Santo Domingo. I get mad. I told him that he told me before that the girls where neighbors in the capital and "suddenly" they live in San Cristobal. He had plans for me for all night but after this experience I cancelled all plans with him. He left because apparently he is very popular with tourists, he received lots of calls while driving so he was picking up other people.
I went up with the girls and thay sat over me and when I was licking their tits they asked for the money upfront. I told the girls that I always pay after service is finished but they insisted. This is a typical attitude of a pro. So I make a few questions: the answers: no kissing, no bbbj no daty. The girls wanted $150 each and I politely said goodbye to both. They left but I was pissed off. Very pissed off.
I decided to walk to el Jaragua which is a 2 minute walk from Jaguar. There were girls a few cuties but did not try anyone. Took a taxi to Pacos, I was hungry and I ate a nice meal. The only girl on Pacos was the waitress so I walked to Mercure and found my friend Victor, my taxi guy from previous travels. Pay the $100.00 change fee and go to Sosua first. Just because the airfare is cheaper to SDQ alot of first timers go there and are lost......i will be in Sosua during your dates, and will show you around! You got the first Presidente though!!

I chatted with him for about ten minutes and when I said bye, he asked me for money for food. I would have used him the next night when I wanted to see the casas, but he wasn't around. I met another taxi driver while I was walking over to the Jaragua Casino and I told him I would use him, if I didn't find anything in the casino. I visited the casino and didn't find anyone I wanted so walked back over to where the taxi driver was on the malecon. I believe the guy who is Luiz had showed up and he remembered me from the night before, but I got into the car with the other driver. The Luiz guy started to yell at the other driver that he had taken his client. The guy Luiz may be good at hustling up chicas, but appears that he likes to hustle the mongers as well.
The taxi driver I chose was an older guy, he took me to three different casas that were open after the curfew. We drove past some streetwalkers and he advised me they were transvestites. He never asked for a beer or a drink. He waited patiently off to the side while I visited the casas. He said he was retired from the police or the military. We never discussed how much I had to pay him. Since he was a nice old guy, and I had a buzz, I gave him 20 dollars, I spent at least two hours visiting the three casas.
I stayed at a small hotel in Santo Domingo, near the Malecon. One night while I was leaving this hotel, I joked with the security guard that I was going out to find chicas. The security guard told me to wait and he went and spoke to the guy who was at the front desk. After about two minutes a tall thick legged chica walked out into the lobby and sat on a sofa. The other place on Pasteur which is before the place with the neon sign, coming from the direction of the malecon going towards Independencia, seemed more low key. I went in with the guy from the hotel and he knew various chicas, whom he introduced to me. There were some big titty, big booty chicas in that place. We got there about 20 minutes before curfew, there were no other dudes there. At least ten girls and the quality was better than what I saw at the other place. I believe they open in the early afternoon.
I got the phone number of one chica who worked in Foxy's, she was real careful and secretive about giving me her phone number. The house wants their fee and I am sure that they don't want chicas trying to cut out the house fee. I first read about this hotel on DR1, it is in the oriental zone and near a lot of neighborhoods. I was going to visit it on my last travel in October but did not have enough time to visit. Will visit on my next travel.

Just made it back from another successful trip to Santo Domingo. I met Jose Sanchez and apparently there are a couple of Jose's that are tour guides. Just to clear the air this guy is ok the manager at hotel mystik even recommends him rates are about average $30 US dollars to the airport and $20 US dollars for a ride to the bus that will take you to santiago. Just got back from three days in SDQ; Stayed at both Mercure and Jaragua with great rates at both. I again rented a car and again stopped by local policia twice! I told the second guy that they all ready got me the first time. I don't get it what is the deal? can't you drive in a rental car at night on the Malecon without being harassed by local police? they claim they are looking for guns and dope, but I claim they are looking for $$$$$. I don't think I will rent a car anymore in Santo Domingo, I must either stick out like a sore thumb or the rental car has special rental plates that police know. Just beware.
Action was had at Girls House with a total sweet spinner who was a 9 with face and body but only a 6 in performance (just goes to show). Also, this time minimal action at casino and more action at El Conde strip with freelancers. Overall, I am probably going to start going to Sosua instead of Santo Domingo, It can be great here and chicas are plentiful but too much work and too many issues to overcome here lately (maybe its the economy here being choked).

I had a chica visit me, who lived in Zona Oriental, she generally paid between 200 to 300 pesos to get to the malecon in front of V Centannario. Some taxi drivers in front of the V Centannario refused to accept 200 pesos to drive her home to the zona oriental.
I have not stayed there, I have read it it is chica friendly. Under 60 dollars per night. Has a pool, which is a plus for me. The location is good, on Independencia, one block from Pasteur, a few blocks from the Jaragua Casino. The Bodega in the photos, I used when I stayed at Maison Gatreux, which is a half block away. I was in Santo Domingo in July with a rental car. I drove on the malecon at night, I saw the police driving around. I have never been stopped in the dom. rep. What type of vehicle were you driving? Where did you rent from? I don't know if the police there have computers in their vehicles, to run plate numbers. Maybe they profile certain types of vehicles.

Dollhouse is at el malecon a few seconds west of Hilton. Full nude foreign girls, mostly from Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil and Canada. Foxy,s has local girls, they also perform full service. Lapsus also have a strip show after midnight. Showgirls is on Kennedy Avenue in front of Centro Olimpico, not in the touristic zone. Another place is Gim Bar, do not know where it is, but is a strip club.

On the down side, they almost didn't let me in because I was wearing shorts - I pleaded with them that I was on vacation so they relented. Also, the dance and drink prices are Miami class. If I recall, they had a $10 cover. I can't imagine what it would cost to get a girl out of there, unless you arranged to get on her off day. It was my first and last time in there. Also, more Dominican guy's go in there than do American, just from what I saw. I'd recommend Lapsos.

I eventually got them to reimburse my credit card. But after that I would never rent from Avis. I have had no problems renting from Alamo. I had a rental car from Alamo for 9 days in July. Tiny little car, brand new, it had the temporary plate (a piece of paper attached to the back window). I have never been stopped by the police. Generally speaking I haven't seen many police in the Dominican Republic. I have seen police driving on the malecon late at night, but generally while driving in the Dominican Republic, I have not seen many police.

What a great trip. Stayed at the Hotel La Casona Dorada, very nice hotel $49 including tax, breakfast and internet included, 100% chica friendly, I had a girl everynight, sometimes 2 at a time. It's in a good location and I would stay there again.
I meet a great tour guide, everyday he would meet us at whatever time we wanted and stayed with us until, sometimes after 5am. He is 100% trust worthy, many times we gave him $300. $400 to change and he would get us 3500 for $100 thats a great exchange rate. He was our guide, our interpreter, and our friend, all for about $20 each, 2 people was $35 and well worth every penny. He never complained and never tried to get more money from us. He was so good to us that I was even better to him then I had to be, just because I liked him so much. I would highly recommend him if you are interested in a trust worthy guide. His name is Santos and I will give you his number, just ask.
The girls are absolutly beautiful. I got most of my girls from the clubs like The Mansion and The Girls House, but you can get them from anywhere the bars, the restaurants, the mall, or the streets. What a great trip. Stayed at the Hotel La Casona Dorada, very nice hotel $49 including tax, breakfast and internet included, 100% chica friendly, I had a girl everynight, sometimes 2 at a time. It's in a good location and I would stay there again.
I meet a great tour guide, everyday he would meet us at whatever time we wanted and stayed with us until, sometimes after 5am. He is 100% trust worthy, many times we gave him $300. $400 to change and he would get us 3500 for $100 thats a great exchange rate. He was our guide, our interpreter, and our friend, all for about $20 each, 2 people was $35 and well worth every penny. He never complained and never tried to get more money from us. He was so good to us that I was even better to him then I had to be, just because I liked him so much. I would highly recommend him if you are interested in a trust worthy guide. I take that walk often just for the exercise as I stay at the Riazor. I DO agree with you however that El Conde itself is not a place I go to at night. I never understood why people stay at the Mercure because at night, El Conde itself is sketchy. Newbies should stick around the Jaragua and enjoy the benefits of the Girl's/Gin House or Lapsus, the casino girls, or even the girls working the street around there. Even just hanging at Manolo's and enjoying a cup of cafe con leche can bring results :)

I have been through Zona Colonial a few times on foot and several times by car. Many streets in Zona Colonial are real narrow with the cut deep cut outs on the sides for when it rains. I like a bar in Zona Colonial called Bar Atarazana, quiet place on most nights, on the weekends they have a second floor that they open up for more dancing. I have seen some attractive chicas in that place. I usually get a little lost while driving in the Zona Colonial. Eventually, I will learn it. I have walked from the V Centannario to Calle Las Damas and then back along the Conde, during the day. I sweated my ass off. At night I wouldn't suggest walking it. One block past Pastuer on Independencia going towards el Conde, Independencia is really quiet at night there. Not many people walking there late at night. Where the round-a-bout is, at the beginning of el conde, there are usually taxis, guaguas at night. I saw a few working girls standing around in the streets at this location. In other parts of Zona Colonial I did not see many working girls. On the weekend nights Zona Colonial can get filled up. Lots of cars, parking becomes more difficult. Outdoor cafes where you can sit, drink a beer, make eye contact with chicas at other tables. I got the cell number of one waitress in a bar in Zona Colonial, I brought other chicas to this bar and the waitress was discreet.

Showed with no reservation and got a room on the 6th floor. Very first room next to elevator (noisy) and with no view (a/c equipment was outside window). Nice room with cable TV and hardwire computer internet access.
Casino was rather small but busy all night. Went down to check out disco about 11:30 pm on a Tuesday night. (Second disco on 4th? floor only open Thursday to Sunday) Its entrance was around the corner to the right of the front of hotel. No cover (at least for hotel guests) and it was empty. Security told me to come back after 1:00 am. Returned at 2:00 a.m and it was starting to rock. About 60-80 people and another 10-15 entered on my way out. There were at least a half a dozen real bonitas but lots of the chicas were with guys (both gringo and Dominicans). Got checked out by most of the chicas but didn't see many obvious working girls. Only spent about ten minutes because my novia was waiting for me in the room.
Plan on going back solo when I arrive on X-mas night. Will report again.

Bx LocoTwo blocks from the jaragua hotel and casino you will find avenida pasteur. Take the back exit from the Jaragua and make a right on Independencia and walk in the direction of Zona Colonial. Walk in the same direction as the automobile traffic. After about two blocks you will see a restaurant something like Vlla hernanos, busy place, that is Avenida Pasteur, make a right and on the left side of the street, you will see a sign that says girl's house (or sky house) and about 30 feet from this place is another place sky house. I was told that sky house opens in the early afternoon. Good assortment of chicas in those two places. Hotel adjacent to both places that you can use. Or ask a taxi driver on the malecon, that you want some early morning action and see what they suggest. The casas I believe are open 24/7, casa modelos, casa teresa and casa azul. Most taxi drivers will know where they are. From what I remember, Casa Azul has rooms where the girls live, so that place should always have chicas on premises.

I think they looked at her cedula but they had asked for mine when i checked in as well. I'm sorry I didn't think to address the issue in more detail at the time. I don't see how they could distinguish between my situation and some chica you picked up in a disco.
If in doubt, go to another hotel (Jaguar, Palacio, Discovery, Raizor) and just use the Aurora for late night entertainment.
Someone asked me previously about cabs to the Aurora since its so far from Gazcue/Zona Colonial. I had a car but asked a cabbie at the back entrance to the Jaragua how much to the Aurora. It was around midnight and he started at 300P.

While I haven't been to DR for a few years, the main reason why I stopped going there was, in part, because of the non-functioning infrastructure. The electricity was very unreliable a few years ago, sometimes on for only 4 hours in a day. Under Lionel Fernandez, things may changed but I am sure not by very much.
And you are asking for a T1 connection????? I would suggest you try a richer country, maybe Colombia or Brazil. DR is very third world and you will find that out when you try to live there.

and you are asking for a t1 connection????? i would suggest you try a richer country, maybe colombia or brazil. dr is very third world and you will find that out when you try to live there.the electricity has gotten better. i used to always carry a very small flashlight, about the size of a quarter. also handy in the clubs for seeing your money. in the dark clubs it can be hard to see what size bill you are giving the waiter. i can remember being on calle duarte in boca chica when the lights would go out. most bathrooms in apartments or houses i have visited have a large pail or plastic trash container filled with water, i guess occasionally they lose running water, not sure if that is because of the lack of electricity, at times. appears the electric is better now. they must have high speed connections there, that is what the atm machines use to dispense cash, as well as for credit cards in some places.

I agree with Jasousa, my first vist there was about 3 years ago, pretty girls but Remington was the place to visit at that time so I chose a girl from Remington instead of la Parada. On my last travel (oct 2008) I visited Foxys, Babydoll, Girls House, Sky House and casa Modelos. In terms of price Girls House was 2500, Sky and modelos 3000, Babydoll 3500 and Foxys between 3500 to 4000. In terms of beauty Babydoll was #1 at that time, the other places have some cuties , Girls house have more girls to choose. I think every place in SD is worth a visit, it is fun to see the lineup of girls and almost always there is a cutie on each group of girls. La Parada was 2500 but I think it is now 3k.
I've been there twice in the last 3 months and saw nothing I liked. Very aggressive chicas. However, a friend who lives there tells me at times it has some nice chicas. I'm guessing there is turnover.

I decided to stop doing the TS toll free because 60% of my calls were complaints from guys telling me that they started the booking process with Paul but their e-mails have not been answered. Some of them were very worried as they have sent him a deposit.
I addressed this issue with Paul a few months ago. I explained to him that here in the USA when a deposit is taken, TS becomes legally bound to the client. But when you are located across the ocean and the only US contact is the 866 number, then it falls on who ever is on the other side if that 866 number. AND THAT'S ME!!!! Not anymore!!!!
Also... I don't have enough faith in a TS vacation to sell it anymore. In the past I had a lot of faith in the product, but since the move to the DR, the business and it's practices have spiraled down. I admit there was a lot of change in a short time but once settled in Juan Dolio, Paul seemed disinterested in my concerns. He told me he would improve but he didn't. He even admitted to me his laziness and that he needed to get off his arse. It never happened. In fact, I unplugged the 866 phone line on 13 November, it took until the last week of November for anyone to even notice and then a week after that before Paul states he will resolve the issue. The only effort Paul made to resolve the issue is to e-mail me and call me once about a week ago. I wouldn't call that an effort to resolve the issue.
I cannot take responsibility for a poorly run organization anymore.
Fellas, in the past few years, adult vacation resorts have flooded the DR. While I still believe that TS is a fun place to go, there are other places that are the same and in a lot of ways better. If you are wondering where these places are, just Google adult vacations in the DR and many of them will pop up.
I sincerely wish TS success and I have to add regret for leaving the organization. I have traveled to many resorts such as this one and believed at one time we were the best, but not anymore.

How about bus rides?My friend took a bus from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana, I think it was 3 hours. There was a nasty accident on this route about about two months ago. A bus went around a disabled vehicle and hit head on with another vehicle, coming in the opposite direction. People in the news said the aftermath was pretty gruesome, body parts strewn about the accident location. A bunch of Italian tourists were killed. I would imagine one way bus fare would be less then 10 dollars. I can ask my friend for more info if you want.
Thanks for giving me the name of that place. Reading these posts always brings back memories. La Parada was the first chica bar I visited in Santo Domingo. My first time in Santo Domingo, I stayed in the Jaragua Hotel and Casino, I can remember walking out the back of the Jaragua in search of chicas. Some local was standing on the sidewalk and offered to show me and my friend a chica bar. This was at least three years ago. For La Parada you make a left on Independencia (from the rear the Jaragua), walk in the opposite direction of vehicle traffic, and then make a left on the next cross street. La Parada is on this street on the right hand side of the road. It has a driveway with parking on the right side of the building.
It is a nice bar, I would imagine that it was not originally built to be a chica bar. It was open inside, I can remember lots of wood. Lighting was good, not dark. Three years ago, I can remember walking in, and then siting on a sofa to the right and about 7 girls lined up in front of me and my friend. My friend who is Dominican started talking with one good looking light skin chica. She said to him "Tengo un secreto, soy lesbiana". Another cute young chica, who had a loose fitting see through pijama, said something to my friend that was like an insult. Later she followed him into the bathroom and she got her knees apologizing to him.
I drove to La Parada this past July and I saw about three tall dark skinned chicas, who were not overly attractive. I had one beer and exited.

I think you have to take a taxi or a bus to higuey then a 2 hour ride to santo domingo, 250 pesos, just over 7 dollars each way.

He stayed in Santo Domingo for two days and then went to a Barcelo Hotel in Punta Cana for 5 days. He told me he used a company called Bavaro Express, to get to Punta Cana. You can contact Bavaro Express at 809 552-1678 in Bavaro for which stop would be most convenient to you or 809 682-9670 in Santo Domingo. He says the price for one way was between 350 and 400 pesos (about 12 dollars). He got the bus in Santo Domingo near Avenida Maximo Gomez. He said the trip took about 4 1/2 hours. Large bus, no bathroom and supposedly they run every two hours. The bus stops at many hotels in Punta Cana. On his return trip he got the Bus in Bavaro Town. The bus also stops in Punta Cana town. I have been to Bavaro once, many years ago. I was uncertain if Punta Cana and Bavaro had towns. I can remember a small little town near the the Barcelo Bavaro Palace, that I saw when I went out mongering one night. Maybe Bavaro town is closest to the airport, I am not sure. My friend told me Bavaro town is closer to Santo Domingo. Call Bavaro Express and ask if they stop at or near the airport.
I also know a girl who works in Punta Cana at a hotel and who also has a place in Santo Domingo. I will try to ask her as well.

Chica friendly. My last trip I stayed at the Maison Gatruex, 42 dollars per night, but no pool. Maison Gatreux is on the same street as La Casona Dorada Hotel, but on the other side of Independencia. A guy on dr1 posted some good photos of La Casona Dorada Hotel. Appears the La Casona Dorada Hotel is adjacent to the offices of the Dominican Communist Party, in the photos in dr1, you can see some of their posters they have hanging on their wallls, which are a little anti-american.

I agree with Jaososa, Casona Dorada is the best choice in the area, then Riazor with is just like 3 minutes walking away from Casona Dorada. Jaguar is nice but a little far away from action. Jaguar do not check guest id's on entrance so you can bring any guest you want, which is both an advantage and a disadvantage.

It is safe, clean, girls friendly, have internet. Including wire less. And its a 10 minutes walk to Jaguar. They have a few girls club next to it and its worth less tahn 50 dollars.
I spent two days in SD before going to Haiti and Santos came and met me at the airport and took me to Hotel La Danae.....paid $30 a night. The rooms are small with ac and cable tv and most importantly girl friendly and and just want I needed for the little time that I was spending in the Capital.
I just wanted to say thank you again to Joe Roma for putting me in touch with Santos he was a great help.
What a great trip. Stayed at the Hotel La Casona Dorada, very nice hotel $49 including tax, breakfast and internet included, 100% chica friendly, I had a girl everynight, sometimes 2 at a time. It's in a good location and I would stay there again.
I meet a great tour guide, everyday he would meet us at whatever time we wanted and stayed with us until, sometimes after 5am. He is 100% trust worthy, many times we gave him $300. $400 to change and he would get us 3500 for $100 thats a great exchange rate. He was our guide, our interpreter, and our friend, all for about $20 each, 2 people was $35 and well worth every penny. He never complained and never tried to get more money from us. He was so good to us that I was even better to him then I had to be, just because I liked him so much. I would highly recommend him if you are interested in a trust worthy guide. His name is Santos and I will give you his number, just ask.
The girls are absolutly beautiful. I got most of my girls from the clubs like The Mansion and The Girls House, but you can get them from anywhere the bars, the restaurants, the mall, or the streets. I would get them all night and since they work at the clubs they would stay until agreed upon and were out to keep me happy at all times.
For a few nights we hung out with a guy that I meet on this site. He was cool and just added to the fun. Thank you J. At the dance club in one of the casinos we meet Padro Martines (pitcher for the Mets). He was very nice and we got some good pictures. I can't wait to go back.

Some of this information gets confusing.From the Mercure to the Jaragua Casino is about a 15 minute walk, (depends on how fast you walk) I would imagine the taxi would be 200 pesos or less (6 dollars or less). Generally the larger hotels are not chica friendly. I never stayed at the V Centannario, but if you give the hotel the name of the chica at check in you will be able to bring her to your room. One member wrote that he gave the name of a chica at check in and that when he brought different chicas to the hotel, he would tell them to say their name was the same as the name that he gave at check in and he was able to bring different chicas to his room. The Jaragua Hotel and Casino is real strict about it, they have guys posted at the entrance of the garden wing, with a paper that has the names of the guests. About 4 years ago on my first trip to Santo Domingo, I stayed at the Jaragua in the main building. When I checked in, I gave the names of three different chicas who I knew would be visiting me, and I was able to bring them up to my room, no problem. I can remember reading one post where a guy wrote that the V Centannario wanted something like 16 dollars to allow in a chica. I have never stayed at the V Centannario, so I don't know for sure. There are Cabanas on the malecon, that are about a 15 minute (depending on traffic, maybe less) ride from the V Centannario, they cost about 20 dollars, that you can use for sex, if you can't get a chica into whatever hotel you choose.
The V Centannario is about two long blocks from the Jaragua Casino.
I have a friend who stayed at the Emabajador Hotel in August, which is where they supposedly filmed parts of the movie Scarface. My friend said it was chica friendly. He brought one chica up to his room in the afternoon. I asked my friend to ask someone at the hotel, if the hotel was chica friendly. He told me that a person at the hotel said it was no problem to bring a chica up to the room. That if the guest wanted they could have the front desk take the I. D. Card (cedula) of the chica.
I drank beers and ate food one night at the lobby bar of the Embajador. Prices were reasonable. The lobby bar is right past the front desk, up one or two steps, very well lit. Sits in the middle of the lobby with tables and chairs. The casino is to the left. I did not see many working girls, but it was around 8 p. M. , when I was there. I was waiting for a gf chica, who later gave me a BJ in my car in the parking lot. I saw a lot of Asians at the Embajador. I saw a few guys go into the elevators with chicas. I do not know from personal experience whether the Embajador is chica friendly or not. The Embajador is probably a ten minute taxi ride from the Jaragua Hotel.

The Naval Base is on Avenida Espana. Just about all taxis pass the base going to and from SDQ airport.

DystyCasa Azul I believe has rooms on premises, it is in Santo Domingo. The hotel adjacent to girl's house and sky house, on avenida Pasteur between independencia and the malecon, can be used if you pull a chica out of those two places. I was told sky house opens at 12pm. Numerous massages houses in boca chica usually open 24 hours. (If you go to Boca Chica, just talk to a motoconcho driver and ask him to show you where the massage houses are, you can follow him in your car, give the motoconcho driver 100 pesos or less) Find a friendly taxi driver on the malecon and ask him about daytime action. Most taxi drivers know where the action is. I use a car in Santo Domingo but sometimes I have used a taxi because sometimes it is easier. The three casas I visited in Santo Domingo look like normal houses, so it was easier for me to pay the taxi driver to take me there, then search on my own in my car for those casas. Casa Azul, Casa Modelos and Casa teresa were the three I saw, good assortment of chicas and I would imagine, they would have chicas there early in the day.

It has always been a problem for me that there are so few opportunities for sex in Santo Domingo during the day unless you have a girlfriend. Once you get a girlfriend, you can always screw her during the day as much as you want, because at night, a lot of the young girls go to their parents home where they live.
There is a massage place between the airport and the capitol I have been to, off of the highway, but I cannot remember the name (my cab driver could take you there). Its between Boca Chica and the capitol. Girls are a little on the heavier side, but there is usually a cute one avaiable. They were cheaper than the Santo DOmingo places, and they are not really there for massage. This place, apparently , is open all the time.
As far as I can tell, all of the massage places in the city were closed a few years ago by the police. It is also possible to pick up a chica in the Plaza Colon during the day and take her to a cabana, although your choices are a bit limited there too. Picking up a nice girl in the Plaza Colon usually takes me an hour or more of searching and trying.
Another suggestion is to sneak out of your house at night, go to the casino at the Jaragua and meet some girls. Get their phone numbers for daytime action. Similarly, you can meet some girls at one of the hooker bars and get phone numbers for daytime action. You might even want to rent a cheap hotel room near the zona colonial to bring the girls during the day. I can't imagine the cabanas are much cheaper and you can leave some of your things there (toiletries, bottle of Blue Label, etc).
Finally, there are always cab drivers who have the numbers of girls they can find you. Send me a PM and I can send you my driver's phone number if you want, and he can help you find some daytime action. He has, in the past, always had a cousin or two in the wings. They were all pretty good in bed, but they were not real beauties.

I can only mongering at daytime from 1 PM To 7 PM but I Cann't take the chicas home because of the baby sitter. Yes, just go to Parque Enriquillo on Avenida Durate to catch the guagua. Be sure to take the express.

I believe Gimnasio Bar Privado opens at 2 pm and closes at medianoche. I don't have a phone number and have no idea whether a taxi could find it as I usually have a rental car. Best thing would be to ask to be taken to Arismendy Motors which is a large car dealership next door. Again, GBP is on the second floor of the Plaza Guridy. Suerte.

You are correct. Its called Pacos. I have been there several times, generally on the way into Santo Domingo from the airport to my hotel (Palacio) in the Zona Colonial. I have actually never hired any of the girls, but after flying 3-6 hours to get to SD, all I was generally interested in was a quick BBBJ, which always proved to require some negotiation. After about a minute of negotiating, I realized I was uninterested and simply finished my beer.

After gas station and before hotel principe make left, then first right and look for chicas sitting on right hand side. Parada can be hit or miss. It is similar to Girls House but to me the chicas have better attitudes but lack the numbers of Girls House. I have been where there were several doable and when maybe 1 or 2 were OK. It all depends and things can change VERY quickly.
I think Parada is definitely worth a stop and have pulled more chicas from there than from Girls House. That is easy to do as I NEVER took one out of Girls House. . . .well since it became Girls House at least. back when it was Cisne it was much better. The chicas were not as hot. . . . but not as hard core either.

Well just got back from santo domingo for six days I hit all the house and the streets lately I can say the sky house has the hottest girls for 2500 pesos.
When you bargin they ask 3000 but they are 7 and 8 rating girls and very friendly
Girls house got them down to 2000 pesos do not lets anyone take you to these houses they get a 200 to 500 peso commision so they jack the price to you, girls here are hardcore rush and out session.
Casa Theresa: What a joke extremely rush and get out for three thousanf peso but there were a few 10's that we took but was the worst session ever.
Extremely mean and rush and I'm in my late 20's.
Street action behind the casinos jaraugua casino for a 1000 pesos to 700 pesos I had alot of them.
Hotel: I reccommed Casa Dorada a block away from action and very nice no chica fees or dead center of it all if you don't mind trash hangin out in front of your hotel go to mystik right between girls house and sky house and all the street girls plus you have another four to five houses around u.
Don't be scared even at night I ran that shxthole the guys on the streets just want a cut tell them to go away I know where I am.

Hey fellows, just wanted to drop a quick line to say that I just got back in tonight (1-15-09) from Santo Domingo. Had a great time, eventhough, I had a run-in with two those motorconcho wanta-be cops! I handled things, but this chica from GBP, whom I'd just picked up, had my back man. I mean BIG-TIME!!!! She was trying her damnest to keep them off of me for some pesos. I backed them off, and they didn't get nothing! But she was there for me buddy. I went by the Malecon Center looking for the Shangri-La Spa. After wondering around for what seemed like hours in a Mall still under construction, I found it. Very outstanding service. So good that I went back 3 x's during my 7 day trip! LOL The girls were the bomb, and I wanted move against one of them, but chose to keep it Professional. Didn't want to compromise her job. You say anything about her, but the owner is to die for also. Very nice lady and fine as hell! On my second trip this past Saturday I met some Americans from New York in there. Yeah it's little pricey 2100 RDs, but we all can afford it. Heck guys it's $80 to $90 bones for that type of massage here in the States. We need to keep putting the word out about this spot, cause they really do a great and professional job. Oh yeah, I went by PP Cafe talked with the owner Jose George,(claimed to be a american citizen) he tried to put the bite on me for 5000 RDs with a girl that has been vouched for in one of numerous threads on the board. This is Ejecutivo which I posted about recently. Marginal is basically spanish for service road. It is located on the service road to Avenida Las Americas before san vincente if coming from airport or boca on right hand side. Big yellowish or orangish houses often with mercedes or similar luxury car in Drive.
If you get off of las americas at san vincenter and head north make first right on a short street named rosa blanca. here is where it gets tricky as I am not sure if the marginal is one way. Forgetting that minor issue, lol, make a right on the marginal and follow it around as it curves left and you will now be on the service road to las americas heading east. Casa is almost near the end on left hand side.

you could alternatively turn north on jardines del este then make first left on marginal sur house will be near the beginning of marginal sur.
I have not been in months and the last visit most of the chicas were just "OK" with one or two doable in my eyes, but that can change in a matter of days so worth a stop in for a beer. I'll see if I have time this week or next to stop in and get more detailed directions and maybe a foto so it is easier to

Sorry for the detail. I'm still having (return from DR trip withdrawal anxiety)! LOL The Shangri-la Spa spot is located inside of the Malecon Center Plaza directly beside of the newly built Hilton Santo Domingo (Avenida George Washington). Look up a thread by Cheeno for more information on it. It's very professionally ran. Unfortunately no happy-ending as most of us here on the board are use to. However, they do an EXCELLENT JOB with the pampering atmosphere in full effect! The 2 girls out of 4 that I gave my massages were very good and precise in their craft! LOL Heck made me not care about anything else. As Cheeno said, It was well worth the $60 bucks I spent. PP Cafe is located on the eastbound lane side of the Refurbished Napolitano Hotel. You may access from Avenida George Washington (Malecon) also. Look for the bright orange neon light (PP Bar and Cafe) outside of the building. Do not know what it stands for. Also GBP is located beside Arismendy Motors on the eastbound side of Avenida 27 Febrero. As noted in a earlier thread, it's the biege colored building that looks like an office building. Inside over 10 girls to chose from (7's to 9's) all very nice in form and attitude. I believe it opens at 2p and closes at 10p weeks nights. Stay open longer to 12a on Thurs to Sat. RD 1700 in house, RD 2500 for 2 hours outside. However, the chica I chose stayed with me longer, because we were temporarily delayed by the crooked Policia on the way to the hotel. I went to GBP Friday at 3:00 pm, was one of my best experiences and I think I will be back to the end of the month. Upon entering the bar they welcome me with a free lapdance, it was damn hot. GBP means gimnasio bar privado, it is based directly at the 27th febrery you come from plaza banderas, pass the crossing churchill at the left hand the plza central and later at the is right hand a plaza lama, next crossing street is the lincoln, right hand is supermercado national and the cuesta shops, after 500 meter you see right hand the car dealer arrismendy an after the next small street is the building of plaza gruidy. It looks like an office building, but on the second floor is the gbp, their is a small sign above the door, and a mirrored glas door, you have to ring. I think the building has the number 238. Their a small parking space in front, but you can park in the next street. The next bigger street is then the tiradente, but here are more description in the thread. Read
The GBP opened at 2 pm I visit it yesterday, their are always 10 girls in the gimnasio. If you enter the flat, their is left hand a small bar, you can drink a beer or a coke here and look the girls. Beer or coke 150 DOP, girls drink 350.
On week days the close at 10, pm, at the weekend at 12. Pm. Sunday closed. Today is holiday, but the are open.
I choose perla end 20th, tall domincan, nice boobs, and she do a great job, I report after my returning more. You pay for inhouse 1500 for one girl including everything, a add a tip of 300 for some fotos, and for 2 girls you pay 2500. The rooms are not very comfortable, the showers and don't use. Casa Australia, literally a casa. The woman runs it out of her living room or mostly across the street under a tree. You get cheap beer from colmado and she has a handful of chicas. Be warned the last report I saw hinted at the girls being very young. I have known the owner for years and will stop by and see. Be VERY careful and if in doubt demand ID. No ID. Walk. No RUN away. Take gomez up till you see cemetery on right. First right after cemetery make right. After gas station on left and at the corner of Hotel Principe make a left, Make right at first corner. 3 or 4th house on left is it. If you see some chicas sitting across the street you are in the right place. Again be careful and I will try and get the low down.I found the general area of both of these places on a map. I will mark them on a map, because all attachments here are small and when you zoom in, the clarity gets lost, you might to use the map in the link to see more clearly the street names.
From the the description given, MC is located: While on avenida 27 de febrero, going west, after Ave. DR. FDO. DELFILLO is the street Mendoza De Gorniellle (spelling might not be correct), make a right on Mendoza, go up 2 blocks, make another right (you will be heading back towards Delfillo, MC is located somewhere on this block. Appears the neighborhood is called Los Millones.
Casa Austrailia appears to be in a neighborhood called La Caridad (close to the neighborhood Villas Agricolas), the Cemeterio Nacional is clearly visible on the map. From the description given from Maximo Gomez you make a right onto Ave. Pedro Livio Cedeno (where the cemetary ends).
I will check out these places next week and send a report.

GBP is on east bound lane just before you get to tiradentes. If you are in malecon area just head up Lincoln and make right on 27 de febrero. When you see Arsimendy motors on right stop in front of the next plaza on right. Go up stairs on right side of building to second floor. Small neon sign above door says GBP.

just follow 27 west past Churchill and you will see dr defillo. there is a traffic light at that corner. One block past defillo is Carmen Mendoza.

Does anyone know of a colonial style hotel thats chica friendly?I'll be staying at Hotel Palacio next week, I have been informed that it is very chica friendly. There are several colonial style hotels in Zona Colonial. Hotel Atarazana, Coco Boutique Hotel, Dona Elvira, Hotel Palacio. Yes my friend, try the Hotel Conde de Penalba. It has an out door restaurant. It's right at the end of the El Conde shopping area inside of the Colonial Zone. Also, it is located one block down from Hotel Mercure, which though it's not Colonial in appearance, it is chica friendly. Hard Rock Cafe is not far from it. The cost for Penalba is $60 a day with wall safe for a single bed. And $70 for double beds. They do have the internet in the upstairs lobby area near the reception desk as well. I always stay there when in town and they treat me and my friends like gold there. I highly recommend this place!

Agreed. I stay here once for one day, rooms are beautiful with colonial architecture and decor, confortable queen bed on the room that is on second floor in the corner over the bar, a/c was the best. Guest friendly , great location.
