Gentleman,
Are there any buses that go from SDQ airport directly to Sosua or Puerto Plata; or do I have to take a taxi to Caribe tours bus stop?
The bus does not go directly it makes 2 or 3 stops but is o ly 10 bucks and will take 5 hours but is a pleasant ride. Bring a jacket. The air condition is frigid. I do it all the time. Bring water and a snack take a nap and you are there.

Thinking about booking a last minute trip to the DR if the travel restrictions from the UK are relaxed from next week and Colombia is still on the red list.
I much prefer the big city to the beach but not into finding girls online, like doing it in person.
Been reading the forum and it seems like most of the clubs / bars like Mixer, Paris etc are filled with regular women, are there any clubs or bars that are filled with freelancers?
If not I will probably spend a few days in SD to see the city etc then head to Sosua.

You can find a bus that takes you to Sosua from there without having to enter the chaotic city. Check the schedule to find a ride that adheres to your flight arrival etc; the rate is not 430 pesos but 450 pesos ($8). This timetable states it takes 4 hours but it is easily 4. 30 based on my experience of last week.

There are freelancers in SD but the quality is questionable. In the Zona Colon there is a restaurant called Grand it is on google maps. It is open late and has a few working girls sitting almost all day. Mostly 5's & 6's but there price is low 1500 or 2000 pesos you are good to go. There are also girls strolling the Mallicon. Any cab will take you there and tell the driver what you want most have girls in there phones and will be glad to hook up. SD is cool but you need contacts and Spanish to truly enjoy it. I will be there this week but I have more chicas then I can see waiting for me. If you into casas or ho houses there are a few. I do not use them so I can not give a recommendation. You will love Sosua because the pussy chases you. The quality is good enough to make you satisfied. Everything there is close at hand and reasonably priced. Good luck and be safe.

I'm posting this here because most mongers and expats do the DR / Colombia circut. When asked about the DR vs. Colombia any DR expat will tell you Colombia wins hands down. Then when asked why are they in the DR they don't have a good answer.
Granted I haven't been to Meddy or Carty so take this with a grain of salt. Colombia blows the DR out of the water in all ways except for general ease of living and women. What I mean is you can
speak almost no Spanish like I did when I came to the DR and quickly figure it out. I was able to get what I needed as easily in the Dr as I was in English Speaking Kenya. Shit is different in Cali Colombia. You get the run around when finding out basic information and there doesn't seem to be any monger hangouts where you can meet fellow mongers and get schooled. This is similar to Africa where people don't really help Black Mongers.
Secondly the women, Here in Cali there seems to be more plastic here than in the DR and more indigenous women who generally lack curves but the surgery is more realistic here. In the Dr when they use surgery they ten to go overboard and it can look crazy especially when you see them at the mall with their children. But the women are far far far more user friendly in the DR than in Colombia. In the DR I never stepped foot in a Casa, There was no need. Once I found my footing I was picking up semis and "non pros" with ease. I fucked a fair amount of shop girls in Agora and Megacentro malls.
El Conde was like shooting fish in a barrel and the Malecon was an excellent hunting ground. I will say that Colombian Casa girls in smaller casas tend to be as or even more accomodating than a food court worker in Megacentro you can generally get multi nut sessions and CIP (if that's what you want) in an "independent" casa as you can in the DR. I think that Colombian hoes are more "regulated" I haven't seen "the look" in Chipichape Mall from a shopgirl but if a woman is willing to sell pussy I think that they're encouraged to rent out a space and take clients there as opposed to the more freewhelling DR where chicks make on the spot decisions to have sex for money. There isn't a Parque Independencia or even a Parque LLeras in Cali.
Then there's the middleman issue. In Cali it's almost impossible to get takeout (take in?) You either go to the Casa or pay waaaaay more to a cab driver wannabe pimp who will wait as you fuck. I never experienced that in the DR. If a girl "delivered" another girl I usually fucked the delivery girl too just to prove a point. I'm been here more than a month and I haven't had one girl offer up a friend.
My overall point is that by a month's time I was swimming in women in the DR here it's still somewhat touch and go. I'm not motivated to visit every casa to find those diamonds in the rough.
But I will say there's way more non mongering things to do in Cali than in Santo Domingo
The Expats have it right you should live in the DR and vacation in Colombia.

After finding my feet I still agree that women are still more user friendly in the DR, It's hard to find a woman that going to give you a bad lay. It seems like DR women willing to get into the game are trained up with excellent "bedside Manner". Then there's the fact that 90% of anything in the states you can get in the DR Technically that's true in Cali too but there's random things that you may miss from the states that I can't find in Cali. Cali is a large city with over a million people but it has a small town feel.
Same thing for the women I'm getting low mileage "Non Pro's" in Cali fairly well. Again it's no Santo Domingo but generally the bedside manner is the same. I do miss the Malecon and the beaches but they are a short flight away, However a 7 dollar bus trip beats a 40 dollar plane trip. That brings me to Cali's biggest selling point Price. I made it to the 2000 DOP Peso club after starting in the 4000 peso club but I'm in the 100 K COP club. As of this writing 100 K COP is about 1476 DOP so it's still cheaper overall. That being said I had a few accidental freebies by this point in the DR. What I mean iby accidental freebies is that I had a few Tinder overnights where the chica didn't ask for a dime so I didn't give them any but they didn't return calls after that Mr. Go-Go put me straight on that.
But speaking on Prices everything's cheaper here, again my apartment is currently 372 USD when I first rented it is was 437 USD till I cut out the Airbnb middleman. I had an apartment north of the river in SD that was 550 USD and the price never dropped in fact in increased for Christmas. You can go clear across town in rush hour and you won't pay more than 6 USD. I routinely paid 6 bucks to go from Piantini to the Colonial Zone.
Then there's the infrastructure one reason that you will pay more is because tourism affects the Dominican economy more so literally your Airbnb host would rather kick you out because the host knows that there's some noob willing to pay double the price you paid a month for for only two weeks. In Cali there's not zero Blackouts but no one has an inverter in their house because it's not needed. I drink bottled water but the water here is potable so you can brush your teeth with the water here. It's not nearly as hot here as people would have you believe, the heat myth is from people visiting from Medellin or Bogota. There's little humidity here because it's freqently overcast and it rains for a few minutes everyday (usually late nights and early mornings) . One final upside to Cali is because of the lack of demand there's no talk of cedula's and multimonth security deposits to rent in Cali, You make a deal and you pay the rent as you go no paperwork required.
One other con is the few monger expats here aren't tight knit there's no monger bars no El Conde where you can people watch and pick up a girl who tickles your fancy. Most people not only don't speak english but don't understand american accented spanish. Practice rolling your are's before you get here.
That being said as an retired expat Cali is hard to beat but Santo Domingo is hard not to love. It looks like I'll live in Cali and visit Santo Domingo, In fact I'm making a visa run soon.

the outdoor ribs near hotel Europa is pretty good (though I am annoyed that I ordered two times same items, essentially same weight, and the guy charged me 600 pesos when the girl the other day only asked for 300. Trip.Cali is not for the faint at heart. I was married to a Calea and lived in Cali for 3 years. Unlike Meddy, Cali has an extremely deadly and dangerous underbelly and is king of the hill for the amount of sicarios in Colombia and while there are several casas and love motels in Cali, a huge group of ballers trying to turn Cali into the new Sosua would be met with tragedy I can assure you. You might think ballers walking around Sosua posting up is fine, do that Shit in Cali and you are coming home in a body bag.
Cali is a slow roll and best suited for single mongers or with a wingman, but not groups.

So I touched down in Santo Domingo last night. Went to 3 places already:
GBP, A Casa that was recommended to me by someoneon the forum and Foxys.
Now the girls are not that bad. Not a huge fan of fucking a girl on a couch in the back of some shady looking brothel / bar but that could easily be overlooked if the girls w3 re 8+ at least. All 3 places were okay. But when I walk around during daytime almost all reasonably aged girls (20-24 for me personally, I'm in my early 30's) look like straight up 10's in comparison to the working girls I have seen so far.
Am I missing something? Going to the wrong places? I'm okay with paying 500-1000 pesos premium if that helps but so far I am kinda disappointed to be honest.
The women in general can be super beautiful but in terms of p2 p I have to say there is an enormous gap between what is out there and what can be conveniently accessed.

Am I missing something? You might be missing that it is all in how a Domimican chick fixes herself up. The chicks at the casas are going ready for work (fuck), not ready to stunt. Try out Casa Teresa, but really a big difference is hair and makeup when talking about how good some chick looks over another. I personally like to see chicks basic without all that shit on so I really know what I have on my hands. So I touched down in Santo Domingo last night. Went to 3 places already:

You might see small animals, beggars and bums on the smaller buses going local. I can go on the smaller bus from Santo Domingo to Boca chica for about 1.50 usd and it takes just 1-2 hours. The Uber for the same ride is about 11 usd and takes 40 minutes. Nice comfortable ride with music and a driver who isn't on a bus all day with people coughing. Now the big buses covering the island are comfortable and very nice.

6th trip to Santo Domingo. Stayed in the same Air be&be. Located across from Plaza Llama (supermarket) in Bella Vista. I like the place. It has concierge but also has a gate system that you can just let your regulars in. The roof top pool is also nice.

When I was picking up my car this visit a person in front of me had no idea what he was doing and the agency was taking advantage of him. I decided to step in and help so I could go about my business.
Accommodations – Stayed at an Airbnb in Gazcue. Nice two bed room with covered parking. Was a little bothered when I asked the host for an early check-in; the reply was its not allowed. Then when I arrived at the check-in time, the room was still being cleaned. Besides that, I'm a light sleeper and the morning traffic noise was disruptive.
Dining – Maraca, nice place as mentioned below. Food was decent, has a bar, quite a few people take fotos at the place as seen on social media. El Chef, nothing noteworthy. Adrian Tropical. Malecon, normal vibe, always stop here for food or a drink or just relax and listen to the ocean. Food Inc. – nice experience, it was on my to-do list for this trip. Villar Hermanos, I love this place and the place next door. I could probably eat here every day when I'm in the capital, which I usually do.
Social Activity – Stopped by the pool hall on Parque Eugenio María de Hosto for a few nights. They stay open late for drinks and was showing the baseball playoffs, nothing else special about this place. El Conde, didn't seem as busy during the afternoons as I have seen prior to COVID, though I was visiting during the week and not the weekend. I always pick up a few local cigars on El Conde. I did see a cigar shop on Ave Mella but didn't purchase anything. The casa de cambio on El Conde was convenient but not the best rate. Walked up Ave Duarte from Ave Mexico to Expreso 27. Mostly people watching and a little shopping. The La Duarte con Paris area is being remolded. Went to LOS Tres Ojos, nice experience / something to do; no need for a tour guide. I did see some activity on Ave Independencia at night.
COVID Test - $4,100 pesos. Received results in a few hours. Try to complete the eticket. Migracion. Gob. Do in advance. I contacted my health insurance company and they will reimburse me the $4,100.
Transportation – I mostly drove but did use Uber also. Yes, traffic during the day can be difficult. The day I was driving to El Chef I realized why I no longer stay above Expreso 27 when I visit, it just seems to me the traffic is worse.
I was traveling with family so not much else to share.

I'm a backpacker that travel and stay between 2 or 4 weeks on the island hopping from town to town every day or 2 exploring the island so I have no problem dealing with cheap basic hotels, or sleep a night or two in a cabana or even in a local family house, I can handle most of the local food and transportation, and I love to dance (salsa, meringue, bachata) and can communicate in Spanish. If you don't have problem with any of the above mentioned and you love to experience the authentic DR then yes its worth it. As for mongering I have visited tons of local nightclub and brothels all over the island that most foreigners don't visit often which means cheap pretty girls that has not been spoiled by gringos.

In my opinion you made a bad choice. When chicks find out you are staying there then they will want more money simply on the basis that you are staying in that area. It has a pedestrian mall called El Conde that is great for walking or just hanging out. It has several nice parks to hangout and people watch while sipping a beer. Park Colon, park Cervantes and park Enriquez are all good to post up during the day. The malecon is lively and the hotels are nice with the casinos and live music. Plus you don't need a car for any of this, it's all within a 15 minutes walk. The street tricks are full of games but sometimes you find a new gem on El conde but be careful. The area you are staying in is very nice. Blue mall is the upscale mall, mega central is the local mall but farther away. I like Agora and Sambil they are also not far from you.

Welcome, I live in Zona Colonial and I love it. It has a pedestrian mall called El Conde that is great for walking or just hanging out. It has several nice parks to hangout and people watch while sipping a beer. Park Colon, park Cervantes and park Enriquez are all good to post up during the day. The malecon is lively and the hotels are nice with the casinos and live music. Plus you don't need a car for any of this, it's all within a 15 minutes walk. Good luck.Depending on how long the Pandemic lasts and when Asia fully opens up (and Thailand may never really be the same) I predict that Zona Colonial will be all super high end condos and Hotels only. I do know a guy who's staying there and found a deal through a real estate agent but you can pay half the price in Gazcue or Buena Vista even Piantini is cheaaper than the Zone.
That being said being able to walk down to Paco's or the Cigar bar on the opposite end and snatch up a newbie making her el conde debut and whisking her back to your spot is life on easy mode. Gazcue is kinda it's own eco system you can go down to the malecon and do the same thing but it's not the same as El Conde.
To the average weekend warrior and especially a new guy I'd stay in an hotel or Airbnb as close to El Conde as possible and branch out to Gazcue, Buenavista, Piantini and El Million as you gain experience and develop your rotation. It's quite possible to find a chica on El Conde who will gladly hook you up with dozens of Chicas who live in Las Americas and San Chirstobal. In fact with experience you can breakfast at Paco's and catch the Day shift of Maid / hookers coming right off the bus from San Christobal.

But actually go into detail about why you prefer to live in PI over the DR? I posted why most guys would be happier in he DR vs. Colombia and why I would choose Colombia to live (with several visits to the DR).
Most people aren't as introspective and analytical as me but the short version of why most mongers if they had to pick one country to travel to the DR and Santo Domingo to be exact is "better" than Colombia is the friendliness of the people. The DR because it's a tourist destination is very accomodating, I'd say it's probably the most welcoming place on earth.
The Chicas can play it both ways you can run through hundreds of them on vacation or they can a be a maid / tour guide / hooker. In Cali I've had people rave about the place then leave a few days later because although you can get beautiful women here They' have one foot out the door as soon as you say 'm Coming". I have been off of the Island for 10 months and I still have one of my maids sending me coffee stickers each morning.
She used to make me a cup of coffee after I fucked her. In two months of hitting the DR without knowing a soul I was choking on the supply of pussy from one chica who must have put up a sign in Las Americas It took me 7 months to get the big butt delivery service going in Cali.

It is one block from a grocery store (on the Conde), a short walk to the Plaza de España (which has a large quantity of restaurants with outdoor dining), 2 blocks from the Plaza Colon and not too far from the various strip joints and brothels (that I never go to, but that is a matter of preference). The wifi works well and the rooms are pretty nice. Sometimes the Conde has some hot chicas (although half of the Conde chicas are skanks). But if you have an itch in morning or mid afternoon, a short walk to the Conde often lands you a decent BBBJ or more.
Most importantly, you can walk in with three girls and they don't blink as they simply photocopy the cedulas and let you go on your way. They can be very difficult if your girl does not have a cedula, or is clearly underage (I saw them kick out a kid who clearly had a fake ID), but that is the way I want my hotel to be. In recent years, they have opened up a bar, but it is tiny and overpriced. However, the bartender was a knockout! Breakfasts are pretty good; the cook does decent fried eggs (I like them over easy, which is hard to get in Latin America. "Huevos fritos ambos lados con yema blandita" Security is good at night and the rooms have working safes.

Interesting concept. You require customers to be vaccinated to enter a bank, grocery store or restaurant but you allow foreigners to enter your country without being vaccinated.That's the DR for you. Last year they had a pretty extensive curfew you had to be inside by 12 noon on the weekends no alcohol was sold after a certain time and on the weekdays there was a sun up to sundown curfew. All of the main legal strip clubs and casas where closed. People STILL came. They even closed some of the beaches but the dating apps still worked.
They banned everything except pussy. The people come for sex and stay for the nice beaches, like I said they understood the assignment. As long they they allowed people to come into the country they realized they would make money, They probably made a fortune because for a time ALL of the other popular pussy countries were closed.

A few couches, a bar, beer 200 pesos, and clean cabanas to take the chicas. Ask the gazcue bodega where to find the chicas next door. The place is waaaay in the back of the alley, nothing on the street.
There is also the chica de casa blue building close to Mystik. If one of the local, friendly, English-speaking car washing touts brings you in, ya going to pay.

The land of smile's is implementing their test-and-go again for BKK, and of course, there is the Sandbox program for the beach cities. But, something about your all's stories is pulling me to the DR. And it's shorter air travel time.
I should disclose, and feel these two facets about myself may be the nail in the coffin for not hitting the DR / Colo / PR: I have no grasp of the Spanish language, and I also don't drink (I'm a friend of Bill W.). I generally spend my time in SEA leisurely sightseeing, shopping, enjoying massage shops, GFE experiences, hitting gentlemen's clubs. And in some SEA cities hitting the casinos.

There are museums that I have been to but nothing on par with the USA. You don't have to get drink or go to bars to get laid in the DR. GFE via Dominican Cupid is likely. That's how I built my harem. Except for a couple of referrals but don't ask for my contacts. There are strip clubs, casas, massage places but I don't recommend them for GFE. To each his own. I heard GBP is OK but have never been there. I don't gamble so I don't know about casinos. Sometimes you just get lucky walking down Calle Conde in the Colonial Zone. There are regular girls just shopping or going to work and also some hookers. Also a lot of tourists including Venezolas which I have had some luck with. I been to DR 17 times in 7 years. Mostly Santo Domingo but also Juan Dolio beach (2 hours east from SD), Santiago (2 hours north from SD), Sosua (5 hours north from SD) and Cabarete (6 hours north from SD). Oh also Samana once (4 hours northeast of SD). Beaches are great there. Bus is cheap. I speak very little Spanish and it helps to learn. Hopefully you will get some input from other guys. Good luck.

Due to Covid, I am not sure if these places are even open or if there are additional places I should add to this short list. Needless to say, I don't want to stray to far afield from the colonial centro and don't want to stumble into rip off places either if there are some that should be avoided. Sorry about that. Yes. In my opinion you made a bad choice. When chicks find out you are staying there then they will want more money simply on the basis that you are staying in that area. Also, whenever you want to go somewhere you are going to have to deal with hella traffic. Maybe you had your place booked before you read that people from this site tend to stay closer to Zona Colonial or maybe you need to stay in Piantini for other reasons. Right now at midnight on Satudrday night google maps shows it is 16 minutes from Piantini to Zona Colonial. During the day it is subject to take from 40 minutes to 1 hour. Whenever I consider staying in that area I pinch myself and say fuck that. I always rent a car and have no desire to sit in that traffic whenever I want to go somewhere or head back to homebase.

You do not see locals in the ones in ZC which are located right next to each other on the malecon. Whenever I have been inside them they have been void of customers and seem to be just waiting for unsuspecting foreigners to wonder in and be charged 5000 pesos. No dancing or stripping or anything going on. Not sure of the fucking facilities. Nobody really reports fucking the chicks on premises. Most reports I have read the guy said he takes the chick to his hotel or airbnb for the hour.
GBP is the one that locals go to and costs 1500 pesos. It is not the Hilton. It is just a bar with chicks and they have rooms that you can take them in and fuck on pleather couches or whatever. If you look in Skokka I think there are tons more undercover casas that you can add on whatsapp and message. The ones you named actually have signs outside though.

Good location and had great security with a nearby cafe / bar. Oasis club is legit but a little more pricey than streetwalkers. Good luck.

Oasis, Foxys, CAsa Teresa and others are easily found by typing their names in Google maps or uber. 7 out of 10 drivers will be happy to direct you to the many pop-up or houses. The locations really don't change for the pop up house. The days and times they are open do. It all depends on traffic or if the police need to make a statement for the press.
Most of the places have a room or an agreement with a Cabana. Like you I don't take short term girls back to my AirBnB. Not that the owner does not allow it as it's me but because it's asking for trouble. The down and dirty way save GBD and others houses is to rent a room at one of the cabanas and log onto Chiviricas or Skokka. There are a few more sites but it gets redundant after two. Both skokka and Chiviricas link to whatsapp and if the girl won't do a quick video to confirm her pics she's most likely catfishing the hell out of you. Catfishing is funny here. Some won't remotely be the woman in the picture, some will be pics from her teenage years and the others will actually look better than the pics. Reporting back after my two weeks in early February and the DR. Flew into Santo Domingo and of course had to haggle with the Uber drivers. Any newcomers I suggest downloading the app inDriver. You can negotiate rates with the drivers and save yourself a lot of money. I stayed in Boca Chica the first 2 nights at the hotel Valentina. Nice rooms & Chica friendly. I suggest checking out Piano Bar on Duarte. I've pipelined ahead of time on DC, but soon found Tinder was a much better option. Actually, did not do any SWer's on my whole trip. Then I went with a fellow gringo I met on the plane to Juan Dolio and stayed in an airbnb. Him and I imported girls from nearby San Pedro and other girls we met while wandering through the small quiet town. Very laid-back and nice beaches. We stayed for three days and banged 2 to 3 girls a day for an average of 3000 pecos each. After getting my share of the beach and soaking up the sun I headed to the capital city and state at the Casa Conde for the rest of my trip. I spent most evening at Pacos cafe. Stayed at Santo Domingo several times in Feb with my fellow dude. Stayed at the Boutique Hotel Palacio, as usual. Still a good value, chica friendly and they keep a copy of the chica ID, which is safe. They have a private parking too, next to the hotel, which is very convenient in this area.
We mainly spent our days at the terrace of the El Conde Penalba hotel, in front of the Parque Colon. Best place to see people and chicas passing by. We found it better than Paco's. Sunday afternoon is very pleasant there, as it seems to be the weekly meeting of all musicians. Every Sunday at 6 pm, don't miss the free open-air concert at the Ruinas de San Francisco, in the zona colonial. Salsa, merengue, bachata. All dominicans go there, including groups of young chicas. Another SD trip in the books. Mostly rebuilt my team and met some new gems and a few duds.
Highlights were getting familiar with how to use the metro (tons and I mean tons of cute chicas on the metro) and the local taxis (what an experience). The metro is super safe. Using the Teleferico was pretty cool too. Worth doing.

The following is a trip report from my stay in Santo Domingo last week. Thanks to all of you that have posted info, it helped me with my trip and I am posting this in hopes of helping others.
Airport Arrival. Landed about 11:15 in Santo Domingo airport, was through customs in 10 minutes. Got outside the airport and ordered an Uber. After I ordered it, the driver texted me and asked me where I was going. I told him and he said that due to the high gas prices, they he was not willing to take me for the price in the app and wanted me to pay him $30. I said 'no acepto' and he cancelled the ride. This happened 3 more times. Finally the 5th driver assigned to me, picked me up and took me to my AirBnB. I think the Uber charge was about $15 - $20. So almost half of what the other drivers were trying to collect. All this said, it does amaze me how cheap Uber is here and I don't know how they make any money with high gas prices and low fares.
Stayed in an area of Santo Domingo called Piantini. Nice area with many restaurants, nearby super markets, however, depending on where your building is and what side of the building you're on, traffic noise could be a problem. I would recommend the neighborhood, but possibly finding a building off of a main street, or at least don't face the main streets here.
For a phone, I just used the Verizon Travel Pass for $10 per day. For longer trips, I would probably get a local SIM card.
Pre-Trip. I did use Bumble and Tinder before the trip to try to line up some dates or female tour guides. I did meet a nice woman on Bumble, we will call her Daya. She and I texted a bit for about 2 weeks before my trip. Professional Dominican woman with good job and college education. She helped me with the planning of where to stay and a few ideas of things to do.
Day 1 - I worked from the AirBnB all day then Daya came to my apartment that evening and we went to a nice, quaint Italian restaurant less than a block away. After dinner we went back to the Air BnB and had some wine on the balcony (traffic had died down by now and it was somewhat quiet out) and enjoyed the wine and moved inside and enjoyed each other in the bedroom.
Day 2 - Texted about 10 girls off of skokka and got about 3 responses. I do like 'hot' women so my prices are typically higher than what can be found if you have lower expectations. Prices ranged from $150 for 1 hour to $200 for 2 hours and up. Due to the limited responses and tight schedule, I just decided to hit up Spa Odisea.
Spa Odisea. Texted them. They sent me 2 photos of the girls working. There were 3 others that they wouldn't provide photos. They also sent me a description of their services. They had the nuru, a soapy shower and if I understood the 3rd option, was just a shower and time in a jacuzzi with a girl or two, but I think it said that it was non-sexual in nature. If you see the sign for Coplan Plaza, the building is right behind the wall with the sign.
Walked in and was taken to a room. Kimberly walked in and didn't really say a word. I'm not going to say she had attitude, but she definitely didn't have any enthusiasm. I opted for the nuru massage, 1 hour. We started off with a shower, where she put her back to me the whole time and showered herself first. She did let my hands wander as she was showering. Afterwards, she let me know that in our WhatsApp conversations, it was not her that I was talking to and that it was an agency. Many of the ads will tell you on the sites if they are independent or an agency. Her ad didn't say either, but it seemed like I was chatting with her, so was funny to find out otherwise. She told me that she could see me again for a discounted rate. Oh, I had paid her $6 M DP. If I contacted her or saw any of her friends it would be $5 M DP. That seemed like a win-win. She showed me some pics of her friends, but I didn't find any of them to be my type. I thought about repeating with her, but our chemistry wasn't that great to repeat. She did give me her direct number and said she'd send more pics of more friends later, but I never heard from her, nor did I reach out to her.
Later on in the day, I did some more research on Chiviricas and texted about 3 or 4 other girls of which 2 did respond. Ended up lining up a date for the morning of Day 4.
That afternoon, Dayah came over, and we went to Zona Colonial, did a quick tour of the cigar factory there, which was very interesting. We then went to a cafe called Cafe Barista, which the walls are from the ruins from the 1500's, so very cool atmosphere. We then took an Uber to the Malecon. I don't think we went to the part where everyone says to go, because we didn't see all the restaurants that you hear about. Instead we saw many casinos and hotels. Still was a nice walk as the sun was going down. From there we went back to Piantini and got some pizza at a nice Italian joint.
Day 4 - The date that was scheduled for 10 am on day 4, didn't return any of my messages until about 10:40 as I was scrambling for a plan be. She said she was going to shower and would be on her way. When she arrived, I was thoroughly impressed. Dressed to impress without being overly sexy. Some girls dress like they are 'working', others dress like they are going to the office to work. This girl was the latter, high heels, tight jeans and a beautiful bright yellow blouse, hair done nicely and the perfect amount of makeup. This woman was also a lawyer working in her mom's office. She is now here in DR 'working' to send money back to her parents. Crazy story.
Her purse was quite large and I asked if she was spending all weekend here or what and she started pulling out all sorts of toys, lubes, even stuff I had never seen before. Was quite funny. She had no rules and we had a wonderful time. I wish I had met her earlier on in my trip, I would probably have seen her another time or two. She had friends that she said she could introduce me to and also said they play together if I was ever interested in a threesome. Her fee was $4 k DP. I know I'm going to get flack for this, but after her amazing performance and hearing her story, I gave her $6 k DP.
In the afternoon Dayah came over, we hung out and one thing may have lead to another.
Day 5 - Time to go back to reality. I had scheduled an Uber the prior night since my flight was early. Of course, I get the notification that the Uber driver had sent me a message. I knew instantly what it was asking. Long story short, since I had an early flight and I figured other Uber drivers may be limited, I did negotiate with him a fare of $1,500 DP from Piantini to the airport. I probably could've gotten a little cheaper, but these are good, hard working people down here and he seemed to be a stand-up, honest guy, so I obliged.
I travel solo quite a bit for these kinds of adventures. It's the first time I had used Bumble to try to meet regular women here and the time I spent with Dayah was really great. I learned a lot more about about the culture here and went to other places that I probably wouldn't have gone to if I hadn't had her with me or her recommendations.
One lesson I learned, was to do more pre-trip work and have more girls on standby waiting for you. Doing the Tinder and searching the sites is more work than you think and it can be done a few days before your trip instead of scrambling a couple hours before you want a date.

Some may think this is too expensive, but I traveled since nearly 4 AM and just wanted to be in my hotel. I was on my way to the Crowne Plaza. I had some IHG reward points to burn, so the free executive suite was my primary motivator for choosing this locale. Nice place, nothing remarkable. I feel centrally located these days, primarily because I'm still blown away by how cheap Uber is to get around. I hadn't set a plan for this trip and figured as a first-timer, I'd just take things as they go. I did do some pre-planning with some DC about two weeks out.
Friday, I wasn't sure that I would head out, but I got a nap in and decided to check out a casa. I caught an Uber up to Casa Teresa, similar to my time in Southeast Asia with the lineup, but a weirder experience. I am used to a mamasan or Papasan allowing me to take my time, have introductions, take my time to have a drink or two, and relax – nope, "pick your lady, get a drink, go upstairs," is the mentality here. As I have read in the forum, the manager, or owner, is super pushy and continues to not shut up about getting a tip from you. I felt rushed and picked a spinner. Headed upstairs and had a very mechanical experience.
Saturday, I had set a meet-up with a cutie from DC; however, phones have some impressive photo-enhancing capabilities these days, gentlemen. She was very friendly; we went to lunch chatted via the translator app, but things didn't click, and I didn't feel like wasting more time with her, so I sent her on her way. Saturday after, I reached out to some of the massage joints listed on Skokka (they've got pictures of chocolate), grabbed an Uber, and found a small lineup of three chicas decent massage and BJ for 1500. I had the pleasure of running into that same masseuse in the early evening at the Jaragua Casino. Saturday night, I was feeling tired, so I just crashed early.
Sunday, I hit another massage joint out of Skokka, located I Este. I wasn't impressed with the lineup but took a light-skinned girl who was very kind and good at her job, 3000 total on that venture. Sunday evening met up with another DC chicha – one that is fluent in English. Few extra pounds but pleasant conversations throughout dinner returned to my hotel, and she went wild on m dick. Busted and sent her on her way with 2000 pesos, she seemed more than happy with that.
Monday morning, I decided to check out Odisea. My time in SEA has made me a fan of soapies and Nuru joints. I do love the lineup and just asking which girls want to work – the ones who nod and smile are the ones who give the best service. Don't let them tell you extras aren't on the table here. I had a great experience with an excellent Creole. Monday, I got the Turkish steam bath, scrub, bubbly bath, and Nuru for 4800. Tuesday (today), I popped in for just a Nuru from a dark-skinned Dominican, and she was beautiful. In both experiences, the girls slid and took control of the stick and rode. I felt they treated me well, nothing mechanical about the experience.
I had set up a session with a Columbian gal who looked better than her pictures early Monday evening. Everything was on the table with this one & even though I'm only 40; I felt like I was 19-21 again. I hadn't experienced a tight body like that in years. He said he's been coming to the DR for years. We discussed getting a cigar or meal. Maybe it'll happen, perhaps it won't. I took a girl from Oasis back to my hotel, which was a waste of time.
So far, I've learned I'm not a ca a guy. I get it; I get why people like them, but, for me, they're loud, they smell, the girls aren't that attractive in my book, and I feel my time is better spent going forward with Skokka, DC, and just meeting chicas randomly. DC is weird; I'm not sure if it's my lack of interest in the chase. But I feel like shortly after taking the conversation to WhatsApp, Dominican / Columbian / Venezuelan women want you to be in constant contact.
I don't think the language barrier should detour people from coming and checking out the DR. With today's technology, translator apps, and the open and welcoming culture of the Dominican people. It's been a very pleasurable and easy experience. The restaurants I've been to have been just fantastic, the service and quality of meals are outstanding thus far. All it takes is a little patience, compassion, and kindness to get by. I guess if you focus on not being an asshole demanding gringo, you'll be fine.
I was last in Santo Domingo last year in July when they had the Covid lockdown at 6 pm It was a good first trip and I got the lay of the land even though I didn't enjoy as much with the curfew. I stayed at Hotel Palacio for 6 days. I liked it there. The rooms were a little dated and not modern but it was still comfortable. The hotel staff was great and having girls come up to your room was easy with no issues. I thought about AirBNB but for some reason I do like the hotel stays. I will be staying at Hotel Palacio again next month for another 6 day trip this time with no curfew. Before I visited I did go on Dominican Cupid and Tinder to get a few feelers out there. Got alot of likes on Tinder but only one panned out. Now I'm 53 years old and not the spring chicken I used to be but still active. For me it wasn't about quantity but quality. I was with about 3 girls while I was there. Not every night, but that was good enough for me. I hooked with 2 from Dominican Cupid and 1 from Tinder. I can say that all 3 was good fun especially one dark skin one that gave me the best head of my life. LOL. Now I don't speak a lick of Spanish and used Google Translate. It really wasn't an issue and we communicated great like that, though I know I need to learn a little. Of course I got the hey my kid is sick can you send me some money because I kept their numbers on whatsapp. Now I did send some money (don't yell at me) probably around $50 dollars or so because she was nice and she promised me to give me an even better time when I come back she wants me to nut in her ass. LOL. Screw it man will see how it plays out. I really enjoyed Santo Domingo and can't wait to get back now that it is normal. I even with to the island of Sanoa for a day trip, it was awesome. I didn't venture too far out of the area, but will this time to check out more places to dine and maybe hit up a club or two to check the scenery. I plan to find one fine chica to spend some time with and maybe get some good GFE experience. Like I said for me now it is about Quality rather than Quantity. I'm glad the curfew is over so now I can venture out around Zona Colonial at night and people watch. I thought about Sousua but that is just too much for me from what I see in the videos and not my speed anymore. Too much happening it seems. I want to thank all of the posters on here, making my first trip to Santo Domingo was awesome. Next month Dominican Republic and hopefully in November a trip to the Philippines for some action.

One lesson I learned, was to do more pre-trip work and have more girls on standby waiting for you. Doing the Tinder and searching the sites is more work than you think and it can be done a few days before your trip instead of scrambling a couple hours before you want a date.This is an excellent lesson. The following is a trip report from my stay in Santo Domingo last week. Thanks to all of you that have posted info, it helped me with my trip and I am posting this in hopes of helping others.
Day 2 - Texted about 10 girls off of skokka and got about 3 responses. I do like 'hot' women so my prices are typically higher than what can be found if you have lower expectations. Prices ranged from $150 for 1 hour to $200 for 2 hours and up. Due to the limited responses and tight schedule, I just decided to hit up Spa Odisea. On the way out, they showed me the line up of the other girls, there were about 5 others, none of which did much for me. Maybe 5's and 6's, although the others did smile and a couple seemed friendly unlike Kimberly. I would probably not repeat. For 2,500 pesos, it's cheap by American standards, but cheap doesn't mean it's worth it.
Hotel Palacio quoted me $45 for transportation to the hotel from the Airport. I guess that was way too much and I should get an Uber. I'm not a nickel and dime man but who wants to get suckered. ?

All this said, it does amaze me how cheap Uber is here and I don't know how they make any money with high gas prices and low fares.You should get in one of those collectivo taxis. You would really wonder how they make any money.

The low cost ones in SD are dumps just to nasty for me These girls bang 5 or 6 guys on a good day. The more upscale are terrible customer service and high prices. The girls are putting on their cloths on as soon as you nut. One step above masturbation. Never the less some people love these places go figure. I was a big fan of DC back in the day. It took time but you can fine some gems and they do not treat you like a john.

GBP in my experience has 1 or 2 hot girls, and could be a good option for some reliable action during mid afternoon. I know the place is a dump but you can't beat that price. It's like fucking in a bathroom of a club bar or night club. I still don't understand why they can't make some improvements to the rooms.
I will be in SD on Sunday for 5 days and my plan is to go there every day just to get me a drink and see if there would a girl that could charge double or triple at places like foxys.
Was the 4800 at Odyssey for full service? Did you get to use the full time.

I have already sent messages to girls I like on Sokkha to negotiate the price with them I am sticking to not more than 2000 pesos for 1 hour. I told all of them after we agreed on the price that I had to go to Puerto Plata and I will contact them once I am back in town. For my 5 days trip I think I can pull one or 2 girls for sokkha.
