On my way down to my weekly adventure in happy valley! I have my usual SG "date" lined up and will then chill in HK. I renewed my VIP card on Monday. I made a special run to get it (usually a problem to get a renewal on weekends (chica at counter is off) Anybody there say HI. I will be in teal shirt / black jeans / grey hair / 50. I usually like Sundays but today could be a sausagefest with the Holiday. CuidateJust got back. Yes It was a sausagefest! Too many gringos for my taste. In the afternoon we had our Asian tour group come through. They took all the seats on the upper stage. I did not see one dollar on stage. The women were disgusted and clearly out of place. Dancer was playing it up with bare ass in their faces, and shaking chichis in their faces also!
There was a table of Mexican chicas (6 of them) parting. They were having a great time, and pretty much started a party of their own! Lots of chico, BGs and meseros playing with them! anyway, at about 3:30am i'm totally spawned out and shit faced. i go to my room, put in my ear plugs, and pass out. at 5:45am my room telephone starts ringing non-stop! i do the reach out, blind drunk and knock it on the floor thing, pick it up, and it is the front desk! dude wants 20 pesos for the telephone call they put through the night before. i'm like "are you fucking serious? its 5:45am and you want 20 pesos?" he tries to tell me his shift is ending and he needs to "close out my night."
i literally walk right down to the front desk, from the 6th floor, in my underwear; not just any underwear either. i'm a "speedo" guy. i figure they want to wake a client up over 20 pesos they can get a show. the guy at the desk says in spanish "sir, what are you doing?" i tell him straight up "you want your fucking 20 pesos here they are" and i threw about 50 pesos of change on his table and walked away. i checked out and haven't returned since. place is a joke. if i want some action i go straight to craigslist tijuana, look under "casual encounters" (relaciones esporadicas) and there is a smorgasbord of girls from 18-40, and any other fetish a person might have. i stay at hotel monaco normally and then grab a taxi to the zone to party. most of the girls on there are $50-$80 and most do natural oral and covered anal if that's your thing, all in the privavcy of your own room. but pouring money into that hotel ain't happening anymore.

I did get my room in the 6th floor (highest floor possible) , but the room prices changed! It went up by $5 (new policy) , so instead of $55, it's $60 on weekends and $50 on weekdays. I still got my 20% discount, but even though I reserved my room 2 months ago, didn't make a difference and honestly, reservations are not even necessary. They don't provide any confirmation # or guaranteed pricing. Learn something new everyday I guess.
One thing of note, I thought I would be able to pay by credit card, but everything must be in cash, so that threw off my budget a bit. The room was pretty upscale, granite everything with separate toilet and shower, but with a small size bed, full at best. I'm a 30 something Asian dude so it's cool with me, but after having a few girls in that room, a bigger bed would be better, just saying.
So I went downtairs to HK, not realizing how many fucking asians were packing the place. I'm like damn. I blend right in. Bunch of gringos of course, and the rest were other tourists and locals I suppose. I got a table and got a chica pronto. I can speak fluent Spanish, so whenever the girls talk to me, I pretty much surprise the shit of them and they dig it. But obviously, they would try to upsell me and after reading how all the asian bros have been paying high prices, I stuck to a $60 max. I was going to give a report on Adelitas, but more appropriate on that forum. And I did see those Chinese tour groups during the day the past 2 days, all middle age / senior looking grandpas / grandmas walking around the Zona and being in HK. Fucking awkward.

I was in Cascada on Sunday and returned for another stay on Monday. Both days I stayed on the 2nd floor (my request- I usually don't stay over) I use the room to chill and fuck. I stay every week so they pretty much they have a room ready. I also check in early. I request a 2nd floor room on my reservation. Both days I had 3 towels in my room and extra toilet paper! Good customer relations or just blind luck?I wonder if the mgt at Cascada reads these threads? I got to the hotel on Sunday and the desk guy calls me by name (as I approach the desk!) The "cum" guy asks me if I need anything etc." just call". The guy at the reception desk says the A / C is working "very good" (it was ).

I'm going to have to avoid peak hours. It was waay too packed with dudes. Mostly asian (haha). I could barely walk around and there seems to be less good ones available to grab. Went from plan A to H. Yes, that many steps down ward. Finally at near 5 am, I saw one that I liked (keep in mind I'm being sarcastic since I already had a girl in AB just an hour before) and negotiated to $70. Spirit air is the cheapest airline Period. You have to book a week or 2 in advance but they smoke southwest. Even with all the add on fees for luggage, its still much cheaper.

I live in the Bay Area and my first flight back in may was $208 round trip. I scheduled another trip on virgin America for Labor Day weekend and it was $155 round trip. I also scheduled another trip on southwest for October and the cost was $98 total round trip. SW had a 3 day sale $49 each way. I will be leaving on a Saturday Boths trips and returning on a Monday. Only 2 day trips. It does seem cheaper to fly out on a sat and return back on any weekday. But my first trip was a Fri-Sunday. Observations from my lsst 2 nights in Tijuana.

Waiters at hk are much more rude than ab. They bump into you, push you to pass, etc.

When I booked through virgin America they gave the option of renting a car at a great deal. I paid $40 for 2 days including taxes. I go through Hotwire or Priceline for hotels. I recommend Hotwire if you are not familiar with Priceline bidding rules.

Honestly I envy all who frequent this place. Even though I learned hard lessons it was really fun to be around. When I pay 50 fucking dollars for a 6 min non touching (me) grind, this is too awesome. I have few questions though.

First, everything GSR said is good advice.
You didn't mention if you were at all ambulatory. Can you get in and out of the chair unassisted? Are you ambulatory on crutches?
If the chica has to drag you out of the chair and into bed, and vice versa, undress and dress you, etc, it's a lot more work and she'll expect more money. If that's the case, maybe just some touchy-feely and a BJ? If you can get in and out relatively unassisted, make sure she knows it. Thanks!There have been guys in wheel chairs in the clubs so I don't think that will be a problem, though you may want to avoid weekends as it gets really packed and I am not sure if your brother will get to enjoy without being able to move around too much, besides, when it gets crowded, some of the people down there lose their manners and that may make the experience even less enjoyable.
However, HK and adelitas are pretty safe bets for wheel chair access, and chicago too.

I know of others that used that elevator to access the hotel, and the rest is pretty easy. HK and the hotel will work with you these issues; I foresee no problems.

I recall very vividly about the year 1999 or 2000 in Chicago Club, this was the time when I was in Tijuana weekly, I saw a guy in a wheel chair about monthly and his buddy was hanging with him drinking in CC with the lady's and helping him find a girl comfortable with being with a paraplegic man, I observed them both at the table and they would invite them over to meet and have a drink, I do not think he spoke any espanol, true not every woman was comfortable but he would always find a girl, I recall once I was finished with my CC girl and as I was headed down the stairs I ran into them at the bottom and so I actually helped his buddy carry and maneuver him up those long CC stairs, and the girl that night was right along side him walking up the stairway with us as we carried him in his wheel chair, she was very kind to him and great attitude, gave me pause for how wonderful and natural a good woman, albeit a working girl, can be.

So I have been reading through these forums- very informative and a great intro to something that wasn't on my radar a month ago! I am hoping to head down mid-August. I recall very vividly about the year 1999 or 2000 in Chicago Club, this was the time when I was in Tijuana weekly, I saw a guy in a wheel chair about monthly and his buddy was hanging with him drinking in CC with the lady's and helping him find a girl comfortable with being with a paraplegic man, I observed them both at the table and they would invite them over to meet and have a drink, I do not think he spoke any espanol, true not every woman was comfortable but he would always find a girl, I recall once I was finished with my CC girl and as I was headed down the stairs I ran into them at the bottom and so I actually helped his buddy carry and maneuver him up those long CC stairs, and the girl that night was right along side him walking up the stairway with us as we carried him in his wheel chair, she was very kind to him and great attitude...I appreciate the advice. Day girls start at 10:00 and continue on all day into the evening. (9am on Sundays?). Different girls come in at different hours. You need to talk with them on their leaving time. These change also but I don't know what the criteria is.

About a year ago I had a chat with the man at HK who arranges the schedules. I think his name tag said "Coordinator." He told me that starting times matched exactly what Guitarrefreak listed: new girls come every 2 hours starting at 10 am. I'm an earlybird so we never discussed when shifts end. Like GSRR, I have also seen girls come at other times.
From my personal observation it seems that the girls who work the earlier shifts are more likely to be younger and just sit around chatting with their girlfriends and dance. It is the later girls who are more interested in going arriba to make some real money. By early, I'm thinking 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. By late I'm thinking until about midnight. I have too little late night experience to comment on what happens after midnight.
Thankfully the booths are back downstairs, but they had the stools in the upstairs back section. (but it didn't seem to affect the cream show chicas).

I go over to Hong Kong and right away the waiters are on me like white on rice. It was just a big hustle right away. Of course they tried to put a some nasty tray of cheese right by me as well. A $90usd to go upstair 30minutes is excessive over charge. I don't think HK. Chica is any better than Adelita chica and I only pay $60usd as the norm. Very seldom Adelita chica will ask for $70usd, but never pay $90usd in either bars. All sevices are the same.

AB and CC, not so much, although it can happen.
When the girl leaves she gives the doorman her name. When she checks into the hotel she gives the receptionist her name. When she returns to the club, same. They know and keep track.
However, late at night, if their shift is ending, then no problem. Also, they do get some time for dinner if they wish, and can leave the club for a while. This may account for agreeing to meet on the corner. There are other ways around this rule that I'm sure they can use from time to time. But, in general, at least for newbies, the answer is no.
You must be pretty lucky because they keep a pretty good eye on their girls!Not to mention, the girls really don't want to walk around from hotel to hotel wearing a robe.

If you have VIP pass you get 20 % discount from regular price. If you make a reservation w / o VIP card you get $5 off. 6th floor is very quiet, but not remodeled. 2nd and 3rd floor is remodeled but very noisy. I recommend you get a room on 5th or 6th floor anyside of building. Also wifi is ok anywhere in hotel. Also you can get a single room. Its cheaper. Good luck

I haven't been to Tijuana for 2 or 3 months so I haven't personally experienced the most recent HK girl price hikes. So, if you hand a girl $20 you are handing her about 250 pesos. If you use pesos when negotiating with the girl, you will use a 10:1 exchange rate. So, if you pay 200 pesos you will actually be paying $16. Get it? Stick with the 10:1 rate. Don't overthink this.
Yes, girls at HK are asking between $60 and $120 per HALF HOUR session. That is crazy and why anybody would pay it is beyond me. If you must pay in that range, negotiate an hour session. $80, or so, for an hour is at least fairly reasonable.

Day shift ends around 8. Most girls go home to kids or family. Some will hang out in another place, often somewhere in the alley like Valentina or the like. Most of the bars have a "unescorted female" policy. Local girls aren't allowed in unless accompanied by a man.
Night shift ends around 4am. Not sure how much hanging out one can do after that hour.

I went to Rosarito many moons ago before the cartel wars, and I remember the strip clubs being more expensive then Tijuana. There were a lot of San Diego girls there back then and the prices were crazy high. When did this change that they are now cheap? Had the pleasure of visiting Tijuana last Saturday. Reached around 8 pm at the Border and walked through. Cab charges $5. Took a double room at Cascadas for $65 and $10 deposit for room key and $10 deposit for Locker key. Did not get my usual room but got an smaller double room. No problems. However the Air Conditioner was not working, no towels and not so fresh. The beds looked like the linen were not changed for the day but after a small complaint and 20 mins later everything was ok.
Took a quick shower and was down. Paid the $4 for the bear as entrance fee. But here is the part where I feel the management is getting cockier and getting away with it. I came out after 30 mins to take a quick look at the SW scene and informed the guy that I am stepping out. He said no problem. Walked around the full block in less than 15 mins as I tried to go back inside the same guy stopped me and wanted another $4. I protested and another Bouncer came along and then the manager and said that the rules are every time I go out I for more than a few minutes have to pay $4 to come back in. But who is monitoring how much time do I go out for. There is not stamp, no time card, nothing. Even after informing that I was a guest at Cascadas. It did not work. The only time it worked was when I took two HK girls up to the room and back with them but again at 3am as I came out again alone for a few minutes and tried to walk back in. BAM another $4. The girl at the front isn't management. She is just the customer service. She is only a handful of people there that speak great English. If she helps you out them you should have tipped her.
The meseros are like flys....but cmon guys its only a freaking dollar. If they try to rip you off then report them to the guy with the white shirt and tie. He is the management.
Is this the lady that often runs the customer service desk just inside the main entrance? I found her to be quite helpful and easy to deal with. These places have their rules and people at that level only enforce the existing rules that are set by the owners and upper management. Sometimes they bend those rules in our favor, such as the time she arranged the free VIP driver to take us to Ticuan rather than the normal trip the the border.
Like GSRR pointed out, you can spend $50 for a VIP card and never again worry about paying $4 at the door. That VIP card has several other perks that make it worth the money if you are going to visit HK more than about 5 times over the next 6-months.
I read lots of complaints about the waiters being too aggressive. These guys are just trying to make a living. Who has had an experience with waiters continuing to be pushy after they have been politely told "no"? Whenever I have said "no thank you", they have left me alone for a while, especially if I have a drink in my hand. They don't have individual waiters assigned to individual customers, so you can expect to have several waiters offer to get you a drink or a girl or some snacks or whatever. They have always been polite to me so I have no problem with their system.
After walking through the alley, I go into hk. As I'am walking in the door guys says I can't go in. I asked why not and he says because of your backpack. He said I needed to go to the other side to check in my backpack. I told him in the past, I have always carried my backpack. He said not anymore.
So I walk to the other side and the door guys pats me down and says I can't take my backpack in. So I give him my backpack, which he takes and I ask him for a ticket or receipt, like what most of the markets in Mexico do. He said you don't need it and your backpack will be safe. I thought they had cubicles to put stuff into, but he puts my backpack beneath the robes for the girls. Yes it is hidden, but still not very secure. Nothing of value in my backpack but still?
So I go inside with a not so great feeling about my backpack. So I get a seat and try to forget about it. While sitting there, two hands from behind cover my eyes. I turn around and it's Carolina from a while back. I'am amazed she still remembers me. I only went up with her once.
Anyways, since I just got there, I told her I wanted to relax and check things out before playing with her. She is alot of fun upstairs but because of my perverted mind, I'am always looking out for something better. Unfortunately, looking back, she would have been my best choice of the day. Buyers remorse again.
After a while I see a chica sitting by herself looking pretty decent. I go up to her, give her a couple of dollars to feel her up. Her name is Carla. Although she seem to be a fun girl, I didn't pull the trigger. I think it had something to do with worring about my backpack. (crazy I know).
So I told her maybe next time I would take her up, gave her a couple of more dollars and she was happy with that.
We say are good-byes and I go to where my backpack is. There is a couple in front of me. An asian guy ready to take his chica up. Anyways, the girl puts on the robe and is standing if front of the guy. So she turns around to say someting to the guy and she looks and sees me looking at her. She gives a quick smile and finish whatever she was saying to the guy.
This girl was by far the prettiest girl in hk IMHO. Beautiful face, couldn't really tell about the body because she had the robe on, but what I could tell, it looked pretty awesome.
So the door guy gives me my backpack and I ask what the name of the girl that just went upstairs. It sounded like Blanch. So if anyone of you guys know who this chica is, please let me know how her sessions are. And if the asian dude with her is on this board, you picked an awesome looking chick. Kudos to you!
Later on, I went back to hk, but again, couldn't bring in my backpack. I didn't want to leave my backpack so I never went back in. Reading some of the past reports, this place is truly love it (the girls and facilities) and hate it (there so called rules and regulations).
So I did the walk about, street, AB stayed HK.
After looking like a wall flower I finally sat and enjoyed the 1. 00 attention I got much more than the drink I bought Mimi.

Well I couldn't get down during the weekend, but was able to arrange time locally in SD on Monday and then get to the zona at night. Pretty slow for my expectations, everybody was saying "You should've been here yesterday", I know El Grito is the prime party night, just couldn't make it Sunday. I was hoping there'd be some residual partying, but it was just a slow Monday, nothing special. Watched MNF at AB, then spent most of my time at HK. Saw a few that I've been with before, and then ended up meeting a new girl I've never seen before, she turned out to be really cool and we had a great session.
The HK front entrance inside is boarded up for construction, where the desk used to be, they say they're putting in an elevator in that space. For some reason I thought they were required by law to have a seperate hotel entrance from the street, so maybe somebody on here with more knowledge can share the scoop.
I have a Cascadas question for the regulars. After much thought for my next trip, I have decided to stay at the Cascadas to avoid the 17 dollar fee everytime I take a girl up. It seems crazy to pay 55 a night at the Ticuan and then pay 3 dollars to cab to Hk, and then pay 17 everytime I take a girl up, deal with the cum boy and only one towel. To only pay 60 dollars for a girl each time w / o the hotel fee seems tempting as hell. I am just burning through money a sit was. That being said, will I be disappointed in this plan after 3 nights. I understand that the lower floors have all the noise and I want my sleep, so I am assuming you guys don't recommend I stay on the lower floors. The rooms on the higher floors I understand are old but quiet. If I am wrong on those things please correct me.
With that said, do you think I will be let down if I actually go through with this for someone that always stays at the Ticuan, since those rooms are so nice. I don't want old roach motel rooms and I don't want 24 hours of music blaring. I am a little worried. What are the regulars opinions and advice on staying at Cascadas vs Ticuan. I will get the VIP card when I get there, and then check in so I can save 20. That's 35 a night which seems really cheap. I just hope the rooms don't look anything like the 30 minute rooms.
Also, it says I get half off lap dances with the VIP card. Does that mean I get 50% off the 40. 00 for 30 minutes in the VIP room, or is it 50% off one lap dance and thats it. Does the club give the girls back what they lost, or are they SOL. I imagine they won't be happy to see a VIP card, if they have to give lap dances for 50% off. Can someone comment on this.

I've heard that there is no HEAT or AC in these rooms and windows open into the hallway. No outside view or air. Good Night sleep on top of a nightclub? Good luck with that. Get a decent room to sleep in somewhere else and use a short term motel. Bring your own towel or bed sheet if it grosses you out.

I wouldn't say you'd be disappointed. It is just different. I've stayed at both and much prefer Ticuan. Not just for the rooms but also:
- It is away from the zona which makes me feel a bit more comfortable as I feel I can take a breather from it for a bit. Also I hit some restaurants in the area easier and feel safe walking out for coffee at 9 AM.
- I can call escorts. If you don't do the escort scene then its no big deal but I do a lot (Actually prefer it) Most escorts will not go to Cascadas. But again, if you just want bar girls no prob.
- atmosphere. While the zona is the best, sometimes you just want to unwind and have a beer alone watching a game. Ticuans bar has always been my R&R spot after or before an escort.
- I can't fuck for 24 hours. So I consider comfort overall. I'd rather be at Ticuan during down time than at Cascadas.
Then again I can understand Cascadas is more convenient and less expensive. They both have pros and cons.

I agree with HorseTrader's reasons. I can stand Cascadas for a night just for the priced savings, but beyond that it's just better IMHO to stay with the Ticuan. The overall benefits of Ticuan location and amenities outweigh the small savings. Just my two cents.
