HK management seems to let the chicas have discretion in controlling their access and time with the clients. Almost anything goes in HK. It's up to the chicas to let it happen or to object. HK management is very shrewd in recognizing the chicas are the main money-making assets for the club, therefore granting them lots of liberties which make the club fun and lively.
The meseros will try to shame the johns into buying fichas for the chicas, but the chicas can always shoo them away. More likely the chicas are the ones shaming the johns into buying them fichas after fichas for their companies.
One of my young wingman was in love with this little HK girl, America, buying her fichas every time he was in the club. She would play him to the hill, laughing then crying, pretending she was up set that he even wanted to fuck her tiny body etc. While manipulating him to buy tequila shots after shots, which she was knocking down every 5 to 7 minutes.IMO, the whole minimum drinks is a sob story some of the girls feed to a sucker monger to get them to loosen their wallets with fichas drinks. So, while employed, they qualify for the Mexican Social Security. So, IIRC, they can get government health care, and I suppose a pension of some sort if they worked there long enough. It's a nominal salary, nobody could really live on it. You have to generate fichas and arribas to survive.
Took a trip to HK and stayed overnight at Hotel Cascada as I was in SD for work. Took the trolley from downtown SD ($2.50) to the border, real easy. Got some food and exchanged for Pesos and crossed the border. The yellow taxi was going for $10 right at the crossing so I passed for a white cab at the street. Asked for $8 for Friday night, sheesh. Got there and checked in by 8 pm Friday night. Been to HK half a dozen times, and I have to say that this time was most disappointing from a talent perspective. I know Friday nights are tough with a lot of aggressive chicas, but there just weren't the dozens of DDG girls I have seen in the past. My room had no hot water so took a cold shower. The club wasn't too busy at 8 pm, there was a cream show, and probably 50 girls there. I hung out for 2 hours before having fun with one chica. Went upstairs with Annelle (SP?) and had fun. Not allowed? Yes its allowed as I've had many chicas I know sit next to me at a table while we wait for my mesero to come. That is one advantage of having a mesero you always go to, especially at night. The other meseros know that you will only use your mesero and they will usually leave you alone. Sometimes the time just goes by too long so I end up feeling bad for the chica who is waiting without a drink and just use another mesero. Some of the chicas who are friends with my go to mesero will insist on waiting for him. Or other times I'll occupy a whole booth near the stage by myself and chicas I know will just walk up and sit next to me in the booth. I tell her no to a ficha but she will stay and converse while she's rubbing my crotch or giving me a lap dance trying to entice me for arriba. This doesn't happen all the time but its not uncommon. I was in and out of HK between 8 to midnight. You are right HK was not too busy last Friday night and the talents were lower than usual.
I would consider Marilyn AKA Lydia, Drop Dead Gorgeous like a movie star, with her tall, slinky body, perfect skin, long legs, nice, natural perky boobs and a very pretty face. She was hanging out near Pista Norte all night and nobody bought her a ficha or took her upstairs. What a shame.

These Mexican cops have big balls to confront and arrest 2 guys armed with assault rifles. US cops would just call in SWAT teams, kill them quickly with massive fire power and declare a victory.

The meseros, chicas, even the bathroom attendants, all have to pay big money to work their jobs in HK, and are driven hard to dig money out of Gringos. The staffs all work 12 to 14 hour shift, except Chicas, who have it much easier, showing up to work at all odd hours, drifting in and out of the club, goofing off, smoking meth in their rooms.
The bar tenders, who handle large amount of cash, are close confidantes of the boss, and work on straight wages, so don't tip them. Your tips would go straight into the cash register and they would look at you like a stupid retard. That's why you never see the meseros tip the bar tenders. God forbids, if those bar tenders even cheat the boss out of $, they would be brutally tortured then slowly hacked to death.
HK is a brutal modern-day slave pit. Hehe.

At the end AL found out Johnny Depp was actually an undercover FBI agent collecting evidence to implicate his mob bosses. His bosses called him in for a meeting on Christmas eve. He knew he fucked up big time trusting and letting Johnny Depp infiltrate, and he was gonna get whacked. Anyway these 2 shooting guys looked pretty old in the pic. They probably bought the weapons for the cartel, and just happened to drive by Coahuila, not necessarily trying to shoot some guys in the bar block. The turista cop saw something suspicious, flagged them down, got shot to death. They had a gun fight with Policia Federale, so they are pros, not amateurs. This is the first time I knew of a shooting incident involving assault rifle in La Zona. I hope it will not escalate with heavier weapons so we can have a reasonably good time in La Zona with the chicas.

And to unincentivize this further, the exchange rate was like high 16's to low 17's per US $. Per two cambios I talked with, the banks or something haven't shipped them pesos since last week, so there is a severe shortage on the US side.
Solution. Cross the border and exchange in Tijuana at around 18.3:1. Glad I waited.

Today's official exchange rate on the world market is exactly 19.29 pesos per $1 US. I know the casa de cambio is not too far behind that. That rate sucks compared to what is really given.

It is a terrible rate. It was 18.75 ish when I was there in mid-Sept and the real rate is like 19.3:1 as stated by others. They said it would go back to normal rates once they got their pesos restocked which I infer to mean that they purposely created such a terrible "compra" rate + limit on the amt you can exchange to ration the scarce pesos they have left. Just didn't realize casas de cambio would do that.

Hotel Cascades is above Hong Kong Bar and Las Chevalas Bar and charges $18 for a short-term room with a bar girl. You are supposed to get 30 minutes, but mongers sometimes report getting more time or less time. If you take a street girl up, you pay much less, but only are supposed to get 15 minutes.
The other big puta bar in Tijuana is Adelitas Bar. The Coahuila Hotel is located directly above Adelitas. Hotel Coahuila charges $13 for a short term room with bar girls from Adelitas.

Looks like you have difficulties traveling with your luggage:
1. A few UBER, LYFT or even local taxis would take you directly from San Diego International Airport to HK in Tijuana for the right price, which may be high, depending on the time of the day / night and the predicted time spent in line crossing back to the US. You may want to call the HK 800 number and talk to Miriam or Perla, the customer service girls, for suggestions. They send the HK limousine to pick up VIPs at the PEMEX gas station just South of the border.
2. As you are dropped off in front of HK, you can have the HK's taxi guy, or the parking attendant, hanging out at the curb, take care of your luggage, even bringing it to your room for a $1 or $2 propina. Walk straight into HK's front door, telling the security guys you want to buy a VIP card, give $50 or 800 pesos (about $42) to the customer service girl, sitting right behind the front door, for the VIP card. She will go to the bar and exchange the money into a card then fill out your personal info into her computer. Declare your name as John doe, Antonio Banderas, Brad Pitts or Denzel Washington, whatever suits your fancy. Just so the HK chicas can easily remember you, or you can always use your real name so your wife and the Homeland Security folks can be impressed by your international travel.
Tell HK's manager or security people what you want to do with your luggage. They will call the hotel's porter to take care of it for a small propina. It's amazing how these people remember all those who tip, or don't tip, them even 2 years down the road. Hehe.
3. There are 2 elevators, front and back of hotel Cascada, but only from 2nd floor where the reception counters are. However you would have to climb a steep stair case to the 2nd floor to get to the elevator. It is probably not worth the extra expense. Probably best to Uber to San Ysidro point of entry, exchange some dollars to pesos, walk across and no problem finding a cab to take you to HK.
2. I would get the VIP card first. No problem with the suitcase its not like you have to drag it through the club. HK has 2 entrances, just make sure you enter off the street side and not the alley side. You will find the customer service desk in the entryway. You will not even be entering the club.
3. While you will have to climb a flight of stairs to enter the hotel. There are elevators to get to the 6th floor.
4. Yes you will have to walk a short distance outside to get from the club to the hotel.

Potentially they can arrange for a guy to drive to San Diego International to pick you up and bring you directly to HK for a negotiated fee. The guy would likely have US visa and a SENTRI card that allow him to cross into the US quickly. Anything can be arranged in Tijuana.
Driving from the US into Tijuana is very fast. I routinely do it in about 10 minutes from the border, to parking at Pepe, then hitting HK, even on the busiest Friday nights, usually after 8 PM. Mexico's Immigration and Customs does not check drivers' passports or sell visas like with pedestrians. You would be in a smooth flow of cars and trucks crossing over in 8 to 10 lanes of traffic. They usually stop and check only vans or trucks carrying heavy loads, very rarely will they ever check cars, unless they see something suspicious, like drivers and riders trying to hide their faces with hats etc.

Their original elevator runs from the second floor (next to the reception desk serving Cascades' south alley entrance) all the way up to the top sixth floor.
During the last couple of years Cascades expanded by adding more rooms, including two large penthouse suites. During their recent expansion they added a second elevator. This new elevator goes up to the top floor and provides service to the two penthouse suites. It appears that this elevator goes all the way down to the ground floor. I've seen elevator doors next to the ground floor Customer Service desk. This will be your first stop since the Customer Service desk is the only place where you can buy the HK VIP card.
Someone once told me that the new elevator was built specifically to service the penthouse suites. But I spent a lot of time last winter waiting at the CS desk getting my free beer ticket and parking reimbursement ticket and I never saw anyone getting on or getting off that new elevator on the ground floor. So I don't know for a fact that anyone actually uses the new elevator to get directly from Cascades into HK near their CS desk in the club.
I sense from your questions that you may be seeking an ultra discreet way to visit and enjoy the women in HK Bar. The management of either Cascades or HK may be able to help you. Try contacting them.

Cascada's 2 elevators do go down to the ground floor. Due to their heavy weights, elevator frames all have to be embedded into the ground.
The front one goes down to HK's front door, next to the CS desk, which is never used probably due to legal restrictions. I agree as a general rule but I dated one chica who was apparently popular or the managers were fond of her because she could work as much or little as she wished on any day she wished. All she did was show up even after taking several days off MIA. But in general they do discipline the average chica.

All of them must work for a minimum of five days a week; six days a week if they are staying at Cascadas for a severely discounted rate of $15 a day. They can choose which days they want off. Sundays through Thursdays they are required to work 8 hour shifts. Fridays and Saturdays they are required to work 9 hour shifts. They get one 30 minute lunch break during each shift.
Chicas can be punished by being fined in $9 fichas (paying for their own), given undesirable shifts (daytime and / or weekday), being moved to Tropical Bar or Chavelas for a week, and sometimes being suspended for a week. For example, one girl told me she didn't work for a week and was fined 9 fichas ($90). Several have told me that if they stay with a client upstairs for more than an hour they can get punished.
Also, I saw some old posts complaining about girls and meseros pushing fichas so hard. The reason they do this is because HK gives the girls a quota of 200 fichas per week.
Sunday night will be fine but Monday night will be hit or miss mostly miss. A lot of girls take Monday off.

I will be getting there in a few weeks around 11:30 pm on Sunday night and have to leave by 9 am on Tuesday morning. I have read through every post from the last two years and have been excited because of how beautiful the girls sound. Chicas do not pay to work at HK. They do however sometimes get fined for breaking HK rules.
All of them must work for a minimum of five days a week; six days a week if they are staying at Cascadas for a severely discounted rate of $15 a day. They can choose which days they want off. Sundays through Thursdays they are required to work 8 hour shifts. Fridays and Saturdays they are required to work 9 hour shifts. They get one 30 minute lunch break during each shift.
Chicas can be punished by being fined in $9 fichas (paying for their own), given undesirable shifts (daytime and / or weekday), being moved to Tropical Bar or Chavelas for a week, and sometimes being suspended for a week. For example, one girl told me she didn't work for a week and was fined 9 fichas ($90). Several have told me that if they stay with a client upstairs for more than an hour they can get punished.
Also, I saw some old posts complaining about girls and meseros pushing fichas so hard. Conversely, there are brothels on other Caribbean islands where you can go in the afternoon and still have a great time; which underscores the fact that every place is different.
So what about the HongKong and Adelita? If I arrive in the late afternoon or early evening, will the selection be limited?

Still, the line-up numbers will increase continuously as it gets later as you would expect. On a Saturday for example, during late afternoon, you will see at least 30 girls walking around. During early evening, this number will gradually increase.
Don't forget to exit the back of Hong Kong and walk up and down that street. Plenty of girls standing outside hoping to meet a nice guy like you. And, these girls are nowhere near as greedy as most of the girls inside HK. And, some of them are just as pretty also -- at least lately in my opinion. The white and brown Taxi Libre are usually cheaper and easier to deal with. Locals only pay 30 to 50 pesos for the ride from the border to Coahuila. So hold out 50 pesos or $3 to the drivers and tell them Coahuila. You will find one who will take that fare.

There is supposed to be a lane on the right that is just for the Global Entry / Sentri folks. Sometimes people from the general line will spill over into that Sentri line as they are queuing up for their general line (that is, their line just widens until it is taking up the whole space across both lanes).
You have to just make your way past all those people. Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me, etc. There is also a line of people coming out of the building entering Mexico. You can also walk the opposite way in this stream of people like a salmon swimming upstream and then cut over to the Sentri lane closer to the front of the line.
Do not wait in the general line if you have the Global Entry or Sentri card. If you are standing in a line that lasts longer than 10 minutes, you are in the WRONG line and need to cut up ahead.

Hopped back across the border Sunday mid-afternoon. HK seemed a bit slower than I expected for a weekend afternoon. I've been in there on a random Tuesday at the same time and seen it just as busy. Anyway, left again without any sessions. One of the strangest things I've ever seen though was a tour bus full of Asian tourists just hanging out a HK. Men and women. Very strange.
Question to the group: I usually park and cross at Otay Mesa as the lack of wait and crowds is worth the $20 in taxi fares. However on Sunday I crossed at San Ysidro. I'm a Global Entry card holder and use that to cross in the sentri lanes. Do I just walk to the front of the line on the bridge? I stood in the Ready lane for over an hour just to get to the door only to then be pointed to the sentri lane that had no one in line.
I'll be heading to the zona probably this coming weekend and next if anyone wants to join.You cross in to Tijuana through the alley. The Taxi's are $5 to HK. Make sure you say "Hong Kong $5 USD" which includes the tip. That is more money then they would make with pesos and tip.
Return to the US, you can Actually walk to Ped West from the clubs but navigation does not work well. Taxi's ask for $5 to either the old line or the new one but the new one will be closer to parking. I've only had one asshat try to charge me $25 because it was rush hour. Tell him to pull over and get another cab.
Exiting old side: Bypass the line and go to the gate. Show your card to the Mex cops. Take the far right line which is Sentri.
Exiting ped west: Once you cross the bridge and circle stairs and enter take the far right lane which is Sentri. Most likely it won't be staffed, so wait for a CBP officer to waive you over instead of the next person in the regular lines.

There is supposed to be a lane on the right that is just for the Global Entry / Sentri folks. Sometimes people from the general line will spill over into that Sentri line as they are queuing up for their general line (that is, their line just widens until it is taking up the whole space across both lanes).
You have to just make your way past all those people. Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me, etc. There is also a line of people coming out of the building entering Mexico. You can also walk the opposite way in this stream of people like a salmon swimming upstream and then cut over to the Sentri lane closer to the front of the line.
Do not wait in the general line if you have the Global Entry or Sentri card. I observed several people just walk down the middle of the two lanes of the bridge, talk to guard #1 and be motioned in. I was tempted to do this, but I didn't want to give up my place in line.
When crossing at San Ysidro I walk to and from the zona as I only cross at Ysidro during the daytime. I'm more spooked about the US side and finding my car than the MX side. For nighttime I'll continue to use Otay.
Can you cross into MX from pedwest? Or is it only from the east side of I-5?

BOOKING / PREP ADVICE.
Book flight to get to San Diego then get to border.
Register for a room online before trip, on hotel website. No credit card needed.
Pesos generally a better deal than paying in dollars. And cheaper exchange south of the border than north.
TRAVEL / TRANSPORT.
Trolley from San Diego to border is $2. 50 or take the I-5 South to San Ysidro, CA (Uber or make other arrangement).
Walk across the US / Mexico border and take a taxi ride or use VIP border pickup and drop off service If you have VIP card).
Getting through border (south bound) should be easy & quick). Taxis should be around $5 / 100 pesos seal price before you get in cab. Number of sketchy cabs. Any ways to increase chances of getting a reasonable cab / avoid real problems?
CHECKING IN TO CASCADAS.
Hotel Cascadas / Hong Kong bar are same building, but different entrances.
Get VIP card at Hong Kong Customer Service as soon as you arrive and before you check in at Hotel Cascadas ($50, last 4 months - http://www.hktijuana.com/vip-services.php).
Don't show VIP card at hotel check-in until they say they have your room ready (better if name on booking and card are not identical. Stops then cross checking and blocking your booking / bumping you down to a lower room!
VIP card gets discounts off the posts hotel rack rates (posted at check-in) which may not be same as online rates. If you turn up late, will likely get bumped from master to Jacuzzi room. If they can figure out you have a VIP card in advance, they may bump you. Hotel doesn't make much money if they have to discount your room rate. If hotel is busy you may get bumped down to next room quality.
IN HK BAR.
In bar: Late in week / Weekends are busiest days, Monday lightest day for girls (many take Monday off). Girl supply increases from 4 pm onwards on most days. Friday's and Saturday's packed after 9 pm.

Tijuana.
A buddy has been bugging me to accompany him to Tijuana for a couple of years. This past weekend I finally got a chance to take him up on his offer.
I decided to combine two trips in one by driving down and looking up an LA family friend along the way. This worked out OK. Leaving at 9 AM, I took US 101 south from SF Bay and I-405 through LA. On a Saturday, there was not a lot of traffic.
From reading ISG, I knew I could bring a passport card, a bottle of wine for entertaining, and US $ to spend (though Mexican pesos can result in a cheaper price). I had about US $600 in cash on me for all out of pocket trip expenses. I went online to reserve one night single bed room at the Tijuana hotel, Hotel Cascadas, recommended by my buddy. It did not cost any money and a message indicated that I would somehow be contacted after making the reservation (this did not occur, but whatever). (Note: regrettably, I missed printing out the coupons prior to my arrival.).
I stopped at the an upscale hotel in San Diego to get some border crossing information from the concierge. This worked out OK. I was told to drive to the parking lot on the street of the last I-5 freeway exit, at 4570 Camino de la Plaza, San Ysidro. I parked the car there at 9 PM, with an estimate of $40 for 2 days of parking. (Note: I was told by my buddy that the airport shuttle to the trolley was $5 and the trolley was $2. 50.
I packed one bottle of wine with me. With one last check to make sure I had my passport card, I walked to the border and entered the Mexican immigration check area. The check itself beyond the card was perfunctory if not token.
Once through the check, I walked to the taxi area where a taxi driver grabbed me. He asked for $10 to drive me to Hotel Cascadas (above the HongKong Bar), on Calle Coahuila in Zona Norte. This is the most convenient monger hotel to stay at and sample the girls at the HongKong Bar, the best bar in Tijuana. I arrived with no problems and left the driver with a $1 tip. I had forgotten to exchange money at the Mexican side of the border (possibly an optimal place to do so). Also I was later informed that $10 for the taxi ride.
At Tijuana I settled into the Cascadas Hotel in an interior room (bad) on the top floor (good). All the better rooms (eg, double beds, jacuzzis) had already been reserved. The hotel itself had free WiFi. It was Oct. 30, the night before Halloween, and many party-goers were arriving. I dropped my buddy's name at the concierge and got a room discount. My buddy is a frequent flyer, LOL.
I went down to the bar as my buddy and I had planned to meet up there. One must exit the hotel to the street and enter the bar as by code there is no interior connection-- whatever. A bouncer pats punters at the entrance for weapons.
The bar and hotel operate together. Bar is downstairs, hotel upstairs. The bar has girls. Punters buy girls $9 drinks which are typically special small bottles of Tecate beer. The main area seemed to me to be only about two blocks square, becoming more sketchy and dark after that. However, in the main area it seemed relatively safe, or at least no less unsafe than other densely populated urban areas in Mexico. People were strolling around in costume and it was well lit with a lot of auto traffic on the roads. Around the periphery there were a couple of defunct bars, so the local economy had seen better days, but that seemed to me no different than other places in other countries, including the USA. There were a few SWs. Most seemed to be positioned at the entrances to fleabag hotels. Once over the border, I returned to my car at the parking lot, paid the $39 fee, and celebrated the trip success with a latte at the McD's in a nearby mall.

Tijuana has been on my bucket list for years but this trip was my first chance to check it out. The differential factor was my buddy who already knew Tropical Girl 1. I went in Adelita Tuesday night. Did not find anyone attractive. The dark light in Adelita can hide lots of wrinkled skin and flabby body parts. They all tend to be close to the same exchange rate (vs. The generally poorer cambio rates you will find when obtaining pesos at cambios inside Tijuana). Just look at their signs and go to the best rate you see at that moment, or the cambio with little or no line, if time is more important than a few pesos. Pesos are worth about a nickle each these days.

I use an ATM card. If I withdraw small amounts (e. G. 2,000 pesos), I get a rate that's competitive with the money changers, even after all the fees. The pills are usually 100 MG. If you've never taken it before, do NOT start at 100 MG. At the most start at 50 MG, although it's best to start at 25 MG, but that requires half of a 50 MG pill or 1/4 of a 100 MG, and quartering them is a bit difficult. Taking too much often makes you miserable, hot flashes, heart palpitations, lots of annoying stuff. Start low and increase over time.

That Mon / Tue special would work well with Musas for a happy couple sick days. Is that a weekly special on Cascada's website or is that by email? 300 usd should over 2 days (2 escorts, 2 taxis, 6 meals).

Out of the $9 ficha, the girls make a lot more than $ each.

"Fichas" or ficha drinks get their name from the paper tokens given to the chica when she gets you to buy her an overpriced drink in bar. She collects those paper tokens during her workday in the bar and turns them in at the end of her shift to the bar in exchange for pesos. These tokens are only given to chicas by the meseros when costly ficha drinks are purchased for her.
