Went to HK last night (Saturday) for the first time. Overall it was pretty great experience and a good night.

Dang, I wish I had that problem. 30 minutes goes by and I'm not even close most of the time. It's a definite drawback for me, at least as far as the hobby.
As to your question, I am no expert. But I would say this is another difference between a bar girl and an escort. With bar girls and SGs for that matter, I do wonder if you can negotiate that. I believe an idea behind the VIP Card is so when you get a room, the hotel can pull the Card if you get too drunk and trash the room or take towels. So at some point, you are likely to be asked for real ID if other guests cause costs or leave their room in a mess. The hotel wants to know who you are if you cause costs. These HK / Cascadas guys are scammers. You need to stop giving them business, IMHO. Please challenge them on their bad business practices at least. Nothing will sober them up better than competition can. The way this is headed girls will charge $120 and soon $150. Remember we started with $50 just 2 years ago. Last Wednesday was my first time ever visiting the Hong Kong Club and my first time visiting Tijuana in 15 years. I went Tijuana between 1999-2002, all about 7 times. I do not remember there being two lines, but it's possible that I went through the Mexican line.) After some walking I got to the taxi area. I notice a parked limo that is reserved for Hong Kong VIP. I cross the street, hop into a taxi, ask the driver how much to Hong Kong and he says we will discuss it later. (From reading the threads here, I know the rate is basically the same as when I used to visit 5 $ + tip.) On the way to Hong Kong we chat it up since my Spanish is quite good. He says Hong Kong has been renovated while Adelitas is still the same. There is a website that shows current wait times, rarely is there any wait at PedWest) Outside I notice a shuttle bus parked that goes to trolley / east crossing. For 1 dollar and leaving in 3 minutes! Yes! (Later I learn that this is route 907, runs about every 20 minutes.) The east-crossing is where the Fox Express is located at, which I need to take to go back to OC. Convenient. A few minutes later, back in front of McDonalds. Changed money and was back home three hours later.
I am impressed at how easy the whole thing was. Every step of the way was comfortable and convenient, and I never felt threatened. The people were lively and friendly. Certainly Tijuana is a dangerous city, but for me it's more risky not going. Basically, it's worth what risk there is. If you stick to what you went for, and stick to the main areas, you will likely be OK. It certainly helps that I'm Mexican-American, and have good knowledge of Spanish language and Mexican culture in general. Next time I will try some of the other bars. I don't have quite the same budget as I did years ago when I was pulling Adelitas, so I'm trying to stretch those dollars now-a-days. I've heard of collective taxis at the border, and for me the HK will be more a staging area. It's going to be street girls and second tier bars for me, LOL. (though eventually would like to pull from HK) I've just gotten back into mongering this year after a 15 year break. Went to Colombia several months ago and going back soon. Hi guys,
I've been hitting up Tijuana and especially HK now for the last year and was looking to get a few opinions on this. It seems more often than not the girls provide a rather unenthusiastic performance upstairs.
