If you live in Cali, Nevada, or AZ where you can drive to border and avoid $500 flight isn't The cost of going to Medellin going to easily be 2 or 3 times more expensive. But if you have the time and money for MDE I think it is the hands down winner.

When I was parking two plus years ago, it was eight dollars for overnight, out by 8 AM. Pull up to the drive through window and tell them you want to pay for parking. This is also one of the better places to change dollars for pesos.

Just in case do not leave anything of value in the car. After visiting the Zona Norte visit this famous place "Tacos El Gordo" open everyday until 2 AM but on Fridays and Saturdays open until 4 AM. The location next to the "H Street" trolley station in Chula Vista.

Why did I carry both, well my logic was I wanted to carry a ID while partying in Cancun and left my passport book in the hotel safe. Per the quotes I posted, you can enter if you are traveling within those regions as listed on your passport card and only by land and sea ports. To add more, I've recently returned from Colombia and used my sentry card at the kiosk. I still had my passport book with me as well. I entered and no problems. In fact, I just gave the CBP the print out and walked right past him with a "Welcome Back" from him. As of right now, the difference is that Global Entry and Sentry requires the holder to go through screening and cost to apply. The mobile app does not have a fee and no screening. When I flew into both MIA and FLL, I did not need to have my bags screened. I just simply handed CBP the print out and walked right into domestic terminals to connect my domestic travel. Did you have to go through luggage screening? Both were completely different paths, I could see all those not part of the Sentry / Global still picking up their bags and going through the screening. Both times recently, CBP said welcome back and no other questions asked. Only thing, was walk by the dog as I entered the domestic terminals and did not have to go to TSA again. Since it is still a new program, I assume most do not know about it and when masses pick up on this new program I can see it becoming a wait as well in the future.

I try not to use them because the fee was pretty high (it has been a while so I don't remember what it was) and on my bank statement it said, the withdraw was from Zona Norte. Now I plan better and I either use banks or normally I exchange for pesos before crossing border. My only concern is I am crossing the border often times with close to $1,500 in cash and pesos. Never been a problem but makes me a little nervous sometimes.
And make sure you tell your bank. I have made that embarrassing mistake before.

The ATM in HK's and Cascada's lobbies all dispense pesos; terminal cost about 90 pesos, plus whatever your bank charges for overseas transactions.
If you search this thread under "ATM" there are lots of infos already posted.
The 2 Scotia ATMs next to Adelita on Coahuila dispense either pesos or dollars; terminal fee is only 9 pesos, plus overseas transaction fee which is zero for Bank America's clients. That area is near La Zona's bars, well lighted, frequented by people day and night, and the armed security guards at Adelita door are only 10 feet away, making those ATMs safe. I have not had any problems there for over 18 years.

I live in a cold dry place. I was walking around in short sleeve shirt and didn't think anything of it. I am just now starting to experience 50 degree weather. With that preface I would say a heater would not be necessary but then again I saw women wearing parkas. The SG's might like it but I have never been cold in Cascades or HK. I don't think the temp ever dropped below 50 but the fog did make it feel cooler. Where I live 50 is tank top and cut off jeans weather.

The Spring break season in Mexico, which spans early to end of March, was over.
Unlike years past, HK did not have a Spring break party this year, probably because it did not draw the anticipated big crowd.
HK Friday night last week had its normal 80 slutty girls, but I did not find some of the hottest girls to my taste. Chicago, however, has brought in 40 to 50 new girls as of last week. Is it worth being in?They have a bunch of mini rooms (I think they also call them skyboxes) located throughout the club there are a handful upstairs in "Miami" as well as few on the second floor near either staircase. Each Room has a couch and a table and some of them have poles too. I don't remember exactly how much they cost (buying half a dozen drinks for your girl got you half an hour if I remember correctly. But don't quote me on that). You can do whatever you want in the room, including if you want fuck (the price you pay for the room is in addition to not instead of whatever you pay your girl). Overall I think it's not a very good deal for the most part, but I like it for the simple fact that I love to look down and watch the girls dancing on stage or the bar while I'm upstairs fucking.

They do not require ID, and it is completely cash only. Bring a copy of your email reservation (easier for the guy working the desk to enter your fake name). Note that if you get and use a VIP card, the name must match. I've heard of people saying they want ID for VIP card, but that has not been my experience.

Vin.If you are getting a Penthouse on a Monday, I highly suggest you get a VIP card. That $50 will save you well over $100 off the room, as you get a 50% discount Sun-Tues. I've never had Cascadas screw me on price, though they have tried to stick me in the old rooms. I've never had an issue getting them to change it to one of the newer rooms. I don't think they have an old penthouse though.

How about expanding your horizons? Tijuana has free sports watching in Caliente Sportsbook. Places like don't and Buster charge $30 to watch boxing and UFC; Caliente Sportsbook is free. Tijuana has cheap dental cleanings, not to mention good restaurants like Senor Pampas, Tijuana Tillys or Hotel Caesar with its famous Caesar salads and dinners. So if you go, do something more. Walk around Avenida Revolucion and try out new restaurants and chill out with a drink in Caliente Sports book. Then when the border agents ask you, just tell them you like to go to Caliente and watch sports and make $20 bets to cover lunch. Mostly, these border agents are bored out of their skull and would love to talk sports for a minute and get betting tips, so sometimes I'll bring a Caliente betting sheet during football season and let them "inspect" what I am bringing over and tell them who I'm betting on. There is more to Tijuana than Hong Kong club. Google Border Bullfights and check that off your bucket list. I especially recommend "Pablo Hernandez the Mendoza" if you can get tickets to watch him. In my opinion, he is the most entertaining bullfighter that I have ever seen with his trained horses.

You can just tell them the truth. US citizens aren't subject to US law while abroad, except for very few cases like child sex tourism, bribing foreign officials, etc. There aren't any laws related to drug use or ADULT prostitution. You are subject to the laws in Mexico in that regard.
Going to a strip club in Mexico isn't a crime. If they ask you what you did there they are being a wise ass / unprofessional. Every agent knows what's up with the Zona. If you're afraid or embarrassed to tell another adult that you went to a legal adult entertainment establishment, then you need to grow a pair! Don't get into the habit of lying to a federal officer, which is a felony.
If they ask where you went and you are honest. Male border agents will often smirk while trying to maintain their poker face, females will often quickly judge you. Who gives a fuck? Most of the time I'm not asked where I went in Tijuana. But when I am asked, I always smile and tell the CBP agent the same thing, that I went "To spend time with the chicas".
Over the years a few of CPB agents have kidded around with me, asking how the zona, or HK was that evening? Or was the service good?
Twice, as I recall, the agent was female. Both times they just frowned and quickly let me enter the USA.
Twice I've been sent to secondary, one was random (where my laptop's files were searched) and the second time was because I was legally bringing back table grapes.
I don't think my answers have been detrimental, but then again, they never let me view my "permanent record", so I can't be certain.

But I advise you not to mention anything that you had sex or chica name, how much you paid, room number, etc. Keep this information to yourself. Currently, for a US citizen, sex with an adult legal prostitute abroad (eg. Tijuana, Colombia, Germany, etc.) is not illegal. Remember also that prostitution is also legal in the USA in several counties in Nevada. If you are a US citizen, you do not do anything illegal, you can cross borders whenever you want. Ironically, Hong Kong is the safest answer to give to an agent. The second you mention Hong Kong they let you through and won't see you as anything suspicious. I'm pretty they know why most of us are crossing the border.

I'm sorry if this has been addressed previously, but regarding the local police. If you are stopped on the street and searched / harassed / whatever, it seems like the suggested thing to do is to hold your cash / phone / passport in your hand rather than leave them in your pockets to find. Why is that? It's seems that they could take it from your hands as easily as they.

More than once I've marshalled my cash in my hands only to be asked to hand it over to the Tijuana cop. In those instances (maybe three or four times) I have refused and was only willing to fan my money or shuffle each bill so I could demonstrate that I was not hiding something else in my hand full of cash. The cops were satisfied with that and didn't purse anything further.
One time I was about to enter the Leyva when I was stopped. I had little cash on me (just some small bills in my front pocket and a twenty in the back pocket of my jeans) and allowed the policia to go through my pockets. Guess what? The twenty disappeared!. No druggas were found and at the conclusion of the stop the officer asked if everything was OK. I said no, my twenty dollar bill in missing and it was in my back pocket. The cop hemmed and hawed and eventually went back through my pockets and stuffed my twenty back into my rear pocket and asked me to check again.
I "found" my twenty and he said I must have been mistaken as he left me to seek out other prey.

But concerning Thailand, they sometimes check if a person has a lot of entrances and exits over an extended period of time. This "red flag" is because far too many people flout their laws and stay extended periods of time on a regular tourist visa by exiting and reentering the country every time their tourist visa expires. Upon reentry these cretins get another 30 - 90 days. Then, after the 90 days is up, they go on another visa run, and repeat. This results in a ton of entry and exit stamps in their passports, at least 4 per year. Some have done this for years and the Thais are tired of it. This has absolutely nothing to do with the ladies.
If you intend to enter / exit Mexico frequently, and don't drive your car, simply get a 6-month FMM the next time you cross. Then you can come and go as you please. There is no law in the USA concerning how many times you can exit and leave. Go easy on the paranoia, and stop listening to people who don't travel.
Let me refer you to my earlier post stating that prostitution in Mexico is REGULATED. This means there are laws, and the large clubs must follow them or bad things tend to happen. One of those is that the girls must be 18. So, I don't know where you got the idea that this is a "problem. " If you're that worried, stick with the main bars, and make sure every girl with whom you interact looks at least 25.

There have been guys going to Thailand and Cambodia for child prostitution, so CPB will scrutinize guys who go there often.
I have been going to Tijuana and other parts of Mexico for over 20 years. I applied and got Global Entry privilege quickly. CBP usually waves me through border quickly. They are not targeting or suspecting me. If asked. I would just say visiting friends. All is OK.
So relax. If CBP wrongly harasses or prosecutes you, you can always sue them for big money.

I came down for my latest attempt to embrace the Tijuana scene, a Thursday through Sunday stopover before a train trip to the Midwest that was hastily thought up to provide cover for the Tijuana stopover. Flew into SAN and did the Bus 992 - Trolley thing to the border. Found out that the bus schedules are not actually what their website shows but they run every fifteen minutes or so so that is not big deal unless you way over-plan things. Got pesos next to McD's, took 906 bus to PedWest / Chapparal (I assume the new southbound crossing is also named Chaparral) and had a wonderful, line-free crossing. Thursday, about 2 PM. Must remember that. Walked to Cascadas: got to love that new crossing. No taxi hassles, and you can stop at Piri on the way if you need any pharmaceuticals.
Got the VIP card (no ID required in my case) which was already worth it just for the three day stay in the double room. Have until August to further amortize the purchase. As others have said, the Cascadas is always a crap shoot. I won this time. It was one of the new or remodeled rooms, much larger than the previous ones I've stayed in and immaculate except for two light switches that did nothing, one at each side of the beds. I suspect they are for not-installed lights hanging over the bedside tables. Plenty of hot water at all times so, since I'm sure the boiler didn't get upgraded, I must apologize to the other guests who are probably still probing their pubes with tweezers, trying to find their shriveled privates. I, on the other hand, was close to a scalded face: Yes, hot water, but no cold water at the sink. I certainly would not have crawled under the sink to adjust the feed taps since that certainly would not have been my job, so let's say that I ended up with hot and cold water through mysterious means.
There was a locked mini-fridge with refreshing beverages taunting from behind the glass and an equally locked safe. I went to the desk: One only had to ask for the safe key and for some guy to come unlock the fridge (Caution: Redbull = $5 US). The room deposit already covered them. The safe, though, was humorously small. It could swallow my mid-sized tablet, but it has to go in diagonally to clear the door frame. On the dresser was a small music system, perhaps designed as a PC sound system but also sporting SD card and USB inputs. I tested it with an SD card and it was adequate, if not concert quality.
A couple of caveats. One is probably short term: The front elevator was out of service. I was on the fifth floor. I sweat when I look at pictures of warm places. Second, there was a price to pay for the luxury. I believe my whole neighborhood was double rooms and I was unique in having sole occupancy. I think some of those rooms had four guys in them. Not only did this make for a noisy environment but my particular neighbors sounded like teenagers coming south for their first non-related human sexual experience. It seemed that at least two rooms had at least one problem child each, maybe wanting to save himself for a wife, his mom, his sister or whatever or just ashamed about the fact that his dick had disappeared after taking a shower. There were many exhortations about, "Man up and ask her!" or "You're not coming back in this room without a chick to fuck!
These discussions continued in the hall at a volume suggesting that they were being conducted with other adolescents at the far end of the corridor or across the street or back home in California. But enough about their lack of sex. On to mine! I looked briefly in HK when I arrived but the afternoon crew was unimpressive and I was sorely in need of sleep so I opted to return later. That evening was better, but not really great, and pretty crowded, as well. I got a good birds-eye view of the shaving cream extravaganza, staring right down on some nice lezzie tongue action. One of the girls looked passable although God only knows what shaving cream could conceal. On the other hand one might come out a bit ahead financially depending on what one found left behind up in there after the show: Dollar bills, rings, watches, maybe prosthetic hands providing a sex-and-hand-job experience. I've noticed this before with most, maybe all of my Tijuana conquests. So different from my usual Thai and Philippines frolics. I suppose the idea is that they did shower after the last session or before coming to work or the day before or whatever but God only knows what activities those privates have been involved in since. Not the end of the world: it just takes DATY off the menu and that is far from a favorite of mine, anyway.
Other major difference: Everything was covered, even the warm up HJ. No, I did not ask up front: I always know it is a crap shoot and just roll the dice. I did find a new favorite condom for this trip, though, the in my case rather deceptively named "Big Boy". So on went a Big Boy and after some oral preliminaries up went the cowgirl. But with my custom molded ear plugs it was just like a quiet western playing in the background, or at least it was until Budweiser showed up. I thought it was them trying to muscle in on the fine Mexican beers and had a Clydesdale team down as a promo but quickly realized it was probably just some chica with a car tire in her bowels.

I hit La Perla for lunch. Nothing remarkable but decent as usual. I got offered the Spanish menu. Very odd. Usually in touristy areas the people can spot a gringo from a mile away. And no, I'm not Hispanic: Scottish / Swedish / whatever else. Halfway through some guy came by and threatened me with an accordion. I declined but some fool across from me really wanted the full Mexican experience. But to look on the brighter side I must admit it could have been worse: as the band strummed away a guy walked by outside the window with a sousaphone. Lunch the next day WAS worse: a brass band.
That night, Friday, HK was of course even busier. I stopped in and opted to patrol the streets instead. After a walk around the block I chose to go back in instead: Presumably all the street talent was busy at the moment. There were some better looking prospects that night but it was oppressively (by my rather neurotic standards) crowded. I got spotted by Marjorie. I try not to repeat since the whole idea to me is the variety, but if I get caught I can be swayed easily since the otherwise I feel like I'm saying that I tried her out and she was found wanting. In this case it was just a great way to get the hell out of that sardine can.
That night the Cascadas din had reduced for some reason but I had already decided I would just try for a late Saturday afternoon romp, then head back across the border before things got dark and scary. It wasn't like I would be getting a farewell shag on Sunday as I needed to catch a train fairly early so I opted for earlier sex, more sleep. Saturday dawned and I was still so beat that I only made a half-hearted search in the afternoon and, predictably, found nothing of real interest. Not the end of the world: I had a good time, more sex than I'd had in the last four months (sad, ain't it?) and besides, in three weeks I leave for a month in Thailand and the Philippines. I'm going to keep coming back until I get this Tijuana thing right.

I have heard ear plugs are a good idea in Cascadas, but I didn't realize it would get loud enough to still wake you up even with ear plugs. Perhaps over the ear headphones in addition to ear plugs would work? Throw in some white noise or the Sleep with Me Podcast for good measure? There is something to be said about dulling the senses in a strange room in a sketchy neighborhood though.

This is great writing by a bro with good literary talent: factual, detailed, yet light-hearted, funny and entertaining to read. La Zona in Tijuana is indeed an open stage for lots of human comedies, as well as tragedies, by men and women pursuing their own life missions.
I think being in Tijuana more often, able to communicate with the girls at some levels, knowing a little about their backgrounds and personal lives, would bring out warmer feelings, hotter passion and better satisfaction with their companies.
While people have different immunity to various food-borne bacteria, the repeat food poisoning in Tijuana is a serious issue. Where were the most likely places that caused the illness? For 20 years I ate at La Perla many times, also other restaurants and food carts in La Zona just about every weekend, but only had a runny stomach once, likely caused by the exposed guacamole sauce at the HK's taco stand. We need to avoid sources that can ruin our fun, sexy vacations.

If one is a very still sleeper some good noise cancelling cans like the Bose products might work wonders, especially over earplugs, especially with white noise. I've often considered a white noise generator for my other travels, just never grabbed one largely because it is just something else to pack. For this specific application I suppose one could load some on a SD or thumb drive and use the thingy in the room, but I fear those things will disappear or get broken pretty quickly. Bluetooth cans like the Bose QuietComfort 35 could do the trick. If you toss and turn in your sleep, though, the solution would definitely be a military helicopter pilot helmet. A bear to fit in the carry-on but you could just wear it for that special treatment by the TSA, CBP, Mexican Army, etc.

I agree about the more visits, the more comfort with the scene and chicas. I can think back on when I started going to BKK and how much of a fish out of water I was then. Now it feels like a second home, and this is even after I learned that my name means vagina there! Yep, lost a lot of my manhood that day. It may be a trifle more difficult to adapt as oddly it could be argued that Tijuana, adjacent to the US border, is more foreign to mongers than Bangkok: There are wonderful parts of Tijuana but the Zona is not one, so at least lazy sloths like me spend the whole time in a dirty, scam infested world. In Bangkok the two districts I go to, Cowboy and Nana, are in a moderately upscale business and tourist area with all the luxuries sloths could want. There are food and shopping chains that I don't even have at home. Full disclosure: My home area is not in New York or LA. This also means that the hotels are light years ahead of the Cascadas though the other edge of that sword is the increased Walk of Shame issue.
But I can't see why I can't get equally at ease in Tijuana unless I find out my name means taint in Spanish. Being a cheap bastard I know I have to get down there again, hopefully several times, before August to cash in on the VIP, though I also know due to the same cheapness that card ties me to the Cascadas. And besides: location, location, location! Laziness is a terrible curse.
Proof of the awesomeness of Tijuana? A week later and with a digestive system barely settled I'm already missing it as I write this.
The repeat food poisoning does have me a little worried. I've traveled a lot and the Tijuana two were half of my poisoning events. On both visits I ate at La Perla and Azul but so do many board members and I would assume there would be pages of posts about it if others were similarly afflicted, so I can't really point fingers there. The only real suspect I have is that insidious evil that travel sites warn of: The ice. Looking back on it I had ice in every beverage (when I travel I'm a Coke addict) and drank those at multiple locations. Still, it really could be anything. I'm writing it off to bad luck but will not be getting the ice anymore and will pack some drugs to at least lessen the effects should it recur.

I should have mentioned that I'm a light sleeper from a very quiet area so the noise is very much YMMV, but certainly there. If one is a very still sleeper some good noise cancelling cans like the Bose products might work wonders, especially over earplugs, especially with white noise. I've often considered a white noise generator for my other travels, just never grabbed one largely because it is just something else to pack. For this specific application I suppose one could load some on a SD or thumb drive and use the thingy in the room, but I fear those things will disappear or get broken pretty quickly. Bluetooth cans like the Bose QuietComfort 35 could do the trick. If you toss and turn in your sleep, though, the solution would definitely be a military helicopter pilot helmet. A bear to fit in the carry-on but you could just wear it for that special treatment by the TSA, CBP, Mexican Army, etc.
But again, I wouldn't plunge too deeply just on my report. Bring something cheap but hopefully effective to try out first. If you return tired and not from the good stuff, like a 35 hour threesome with nymphomaniac twins, or the bad stuff like the food poisoning, pull out the wallet and upgrade.

But I can't see why I can't get equally at ease in Tijuana unless I find out my name means taint in Spanish. Being a cheap bastard I know I have to get down there again, hopefully several times, before August to cash in on the VIP, though I also know due to the same cheapness that card ties me to the Cascadas. And besides: location, location, location! Laziness is a terrible curse.

The repeat food poisoning does have me a little worried. I've traveled a lot and the Tijuana two were half of my poisoning events. On both visits I ate at La Perla and Azul but so do many board members and I would assume there would be pages of posts about it if others were similarly afflicted, so I can't really point fingers there. The only real suspect I have is that insidious evil that travel sites warn of: The ice. Looking back on it I had ice in every beverage (when I travel I'm a Coke addict) and drank those at multiple locations. Still, it really could be anything. I'm writing it off to bad luck but will not be getting the ice anymore and will pack some drugs to at least lessen the effects should it recur.We all change over time and I am no different. As I can recall back between 1998 through about 2003 I would spend minimum 3 or 4 days camped out in the Leyva hotel (the Chicgo Club was the bomb then) and as soon as I would leave and head back to LOS Angeles I could not wait to return, those days and feelings have all but evaporated as I now still enjoy to spend a night in Cascadas but I find myself, as soon as I awake in the morning, wanting to just get the hell out of dodge, mind you this is despite the fact that I planned for 2 or even 3 nights.
Is it age? Has the Zone norte lost it's appeal for me? Is it that I have other spots of interest in other countries that I indulge myself in? Maybe a little of each is the reason, nonetheless I still love Latina pussy more than ever!

TTM: I fear that aging is a partial culprit. It may be sort of the "can't teach a dog new tricks" thing. I've found myself very set in my ways lately, but I'm sure the Lure of the Chica can change me a bit. All the tourists and military went to the clip joints on Revo. It was not unusual to be the only gringo in a ZN bar. Twenty years of internet intel empowered even guys who otherwise would never have dreamed of going to Tijuana to not only go, but thrive and then tell their buddies about it. If many of those info sources close, and with the US press constantly screaming about how dangerous Mexico is, it's only reasonable to assume fewer newbies will risk going.

I've been reading the great reports about Tijuana and wanted to discuss my trip on Saturday afternoon.
I haven't been to Tijuana in almost four years, so decided to go with a friend on a whim. We arrived at San Ysidro area around 3 pm.
At the Camino De La Plaza freeway exit and Camino De La Plaza road intersection, I noticed that the option to go straight ahead on the road is no longer there due to building construction. I didn't want to go right on Camino and park way down by the outlet malls, so I made a left over the I-5 bridge and made a right at East San Ysidro blvd. I know some like to park by the Jack in the Box, but we decided to park at the LAZ lot (to your right after you make a right on East San Ysidro). My friend paid for the parking, $25 for 12 hours.
The pedestrian walkway into Tijuana is the same as before, except that after you go through the rotating gates, instead of going right, you go left into the entrance processing area. There's two lanes, one for Mexican nationals and the other for foreigners. At the booth the agent looked at my passport and asked what my business was in Tijuana. I just mumbled something about going to see a friend, she gave me back my passport, and I was on my way. I was afraid I'd have to fill out some documentation but thankfully I didn't. When I last went to Tijuana I simply walked into Tijuana without having to deal with any agents, so this was just a minor change.
And they switched things up with the walkways after entering Tijuana. The walkway into Tijuana leads to a street where there's a small taxi 'stand' where you get in line for a taxi. Before, you had to walk over a a pedestrian bridge to get to the yellow taxi area. We got in a taxi and asked him how much and it was $5, a price which hasn't changed since I started going to Tijuana five years ago. The ride wasn't too long and I suppose you could walk there but we'd rather just take the taxi and was at the club by around 3:30 pm. No cover charge at that time.
The club had what I thought was an optimal crowd level at that time. Enough customers to keep it busy and not dead, but not so much you can barely walk around the club. There were plenty of cute girls from 6-10 and I spent most of my time sitting by the stage towards the back while my friend spent most of his time just wandering around the club. The highlight was the shaving cream show by two sexy chicas who must've spent almost 40 minutes on stage. I couldn't help myself and kept tipping them a couple of dollars every time they'd stop in front of me; there's no strip clubs around my neck of the woods where you can you stick your fingers in all their holes for a couple of bucks. All in all, I had a great time for the short amount of time I spent there. Sorry I don't have a lot of juicy stories on what happened inside in Hong Kong, but thought it might be of interest to those who haven't been in Tijuana for a long time like myself.

Yes, obviously, as long as you have a room for the night you don't have to pay any additional fees to take a girl to your room. You simply walk her up to your room.

I am seriously hooked on HK and Adelitas bar. I started going last week during my vacation. Now I try to get half day off work to go there whenever I can. I am very lucky that my drive to the border isn't too long.

For me, it's ride to club ($5), 1st drink free drink ($5), ride to border ($5). It takes me 4 trips to make it worth it. I take many half day trips there, so it's worth it already. Sometimes I use the 1/2 off lap dance when I feel like it, so that's another bonus.

If you are not taking Cascada's 80% room discount on Mon and Tues, the VIP card is probably not worth buying.
There are coupons in HK's web site that get you free drinks and free lap dances. The limousine driver and valet parking guys never ask for VIP card, but HK's management could change that.

Went there in Thursday night. What I have noticed and experienced at HK is that weekdays are the best. Ideal supply and less demand. By Mexico's laws, the bars are not allowed to involve in prostitution. The girls are employed to sell fichas in the bar. The sex is allegedly independent of the bar, between the girls and their clients. Supposedly the bars take no kickbacks from the girls for sex, but who knows what really happens?
The robe guys at HK's doors write down names and times the girls leave and return with johns. When they exceed the half hour, they send meseros to knock on the room to remind the girls to return to the bar. Interesting to know HK girls have to pay fine for extended sessions. $100 for 3 hours or 6 sessions equates to about $15 or 300 pesos fine for each half hour extension.
HK has a very complex system of incentives and penalties for its workers. Every worker gets a share of profits or punishment from the system.
The girls' earn commission for the fichas on a sliding scale. The more they sell the higher commission rates they would get. They have competition for who sells the most fichas every month with announcements and awards posted on the third floor. The little girl America said she was one of the hottest ficha sellers a few years back, making up to 60% commission on fichas. Meseros are always aggressively pushing fichas, so they presumably get a percentage on top of the tips from the johns.
Strippers have to fork over about 20% of the propinas they collect on stage, never fails. The money presumably goes to the bar's owner for what / whoever, perhaps split out to the doormen, security staff and valet parking guys.
Bar girls and street girls get 20% kick back from the room fee for taking johns there, either 20-peso cash to the street girls, or in the book for bar girls. Cascada's reception guys always ask the girls for their names and enter them into their records.
Bar tenders work on salaries. They service meseros but meseros never tip them and neither should the bros if they buy directly from the bar. If you tip bar tenders, they would throw the money into the cash register and look at the tippers like they are retarded. Bar tenders handle lots of cash. They are close confidantes of the owner. If they ever steal from the till, guess what would happen to them.
So far the bars' machinery seem to be working smoothly. Have not heard of complaints or labor problems. From clients' perspectives, prices in Tijuana bars for drinks, fichas and sex with the chicas have gone up significantly relative to local costs of living.

My experiences with bar and street girls in Mexico have been very good. The girls are mostly nice, sweet, gentle, not angry, nasty and ugly like most working girls in the US. Tijuana girls have treated me with warmth, fun, friendliness and gentleness, such that I also feel responsible and protective towards them.
Argentinian girls are also very sweet and gentle, not to mention sexy and good-looking.

I was surprised to learn that street girls are also required to have health cards. Any girl working in the Zona is supposed to have one. Some may not, but the regulars and ones near Cascadas most likely do. So there is almost no difference in risk between most SG and BG. You'd be surprised what some of the BGs are willing to do in bed.
Street girls deal in volume. They'll see 5-6 guys per day almost guaranteed because their rates are much cheaper. BG make most of their money on the weekend. Weekdays can be very slow.
BG income seems a lot more unpredictable than SG income. Thoughts?

Sometimes ill see girls with a guy for hours at his table. How is this profitable for the girl if they only get a small percentage of the fichas.
They're trading the opportunity to make more money by going arriba with other customers for the small cut of each ficha. Doesn't make sense unless these guys are slipping them big tips.
Do girls do this for loyal customers or guys they know will pay them well (which makes up for their lost opportunities sitting with him for so long)? The girls are constantly thinking about money while they are on the clock.
Sometimes I get jealous that some of you guys seem to get company all night for so cheap. Heh. Or maybe it isn't as cheap as it appears if it requires the investments mentioned above.

In my experience, 25-30 minutes is a typical first session time with a Hong Kong girl. I wasn't aware that 30 minutes was a maximum. The cum boys sometimes knock as soon as about 15 minutes, but that is not a time limit.
I've had many sessions that last longer than 30 minutes without the girl seeming concerned about fines, perhaps because I buy the VIP card.
