Once I used it to rent a jacuzzi suite and another time I rented a regular room. All of those Monday or Tuesday rentals resulted in my getting the 80% discount. Back then I rented $110 master suites for $22.

I learned (mostly from other monger's experiences) how to do it right. I made online reservations and never mentioned that I possessed a HK VIP card. I brought with me the online reservation code I was sent as part of the reservation process and gave it to the hotel clerk when I was checking in. Only at the point where the clerk honored the reservation, and asked for the $110, did I whip out the HK VIP card, and paid the discounted fee.

This worked like a charm, except for the first time I tried to use it. The mistake I made during that first attempt, was that I presented both my confirmation # and my HK VIP card together when I first approached the hotel desk wanting to check in. Amazingly the clerk could not find any record of my reservation in that instance, despite my presentation of a hard copy of my confirmation number. I was offered only a regular room. That first experience was ultimately resolved by them "checking" and discovering that Rizo de Oro had one available Master Suite, which I used for two days. I think that MS room at Rizo de Oro was room #56 and located right at the bottom of the first downward staircase in the North Wing annex after you walk the internal short stairway that goes up and over blood alley. That north annex has a doorway at the far end that accesses Pepe's parking lot. That particular Master Suite was not the one containing the large oval Jacuzzi that is often shown of their promotional materials. Instead it has a large rectangular Jacuzzi and the second Queen-size bed in an alcove separated from the main part of the large hotel room.

Other mongers have experienced the same thing (I. E. No master suites, despite having online reservations, when the hotel clerk realizes you have the HK VIP card) so keep that card hidden up until the point where the Cascades hotel clerk has his hand out, and is ready to collect your fee).

And your experience with having to pay the girl first sounds about par for the course. Unless you know the girls they probably will not just go up to party without being compensated. You can try and negotiate with them, but they are there to make money.

Good thing is there is no door knocking so you can stay as long as you want. 90% of the girls do not watch the clock that closely. Easy to get 15-30 minutes extra, for no charge, but anymore they will get mad.

Then I'm going to try to give you some additional information that could be useful to mongers trying to accomplish your stated goals. Drama free gave you a good reply (see directly below) in saying that the chicas are there primarily to make money. Your questions seem to imply that you and your mongering buddy want to party with these working girls up in a master suite without their "meters" being on charging you for all the time you spend with them. Spending time with prostitutes, while they are not charging you for their time, is possible, but most working girls will want no part of this type of arrangement. Came out to visit some friends in San Diego which I occasionally do. I never really wanted to go to Tijuana in previous visits and even when I lived on the west coast. My friend convinced me that I had to try it at least once, so off we went.

I arrived at 9 pm and my friend told me to meet him down there. So, I took a Lyft to the border from the airport for $17.33. They have a promotion that you get half off a few rides this week and I used the pool version hoping no one else would be picked up.

After walking down the hill, I called an Uber and he picked me up and took me to Hotel Ibis. The Uber ride was $38.68 pesos and it is about 5 minutes from the border. My friend was already there we went to our rooms and got ready to go out. The hotel cost $50 a night and it's brand new.

We took another Uber for 38.68 pesos to the strip. We want to Chicago Club, Adelitas and Hong Kong.

There seem to be about 40 or more girls in there. I didn't see any stunners but definitely doable. There were double the amount of girls than guys. I didn't asked prices and we went to Adelitas.

Coming back you are supposed to have your passport but as long as you are a you. S citizen they will let you back into the USA If you get a dick agent he may give you shit and send you to secondary which may cost you a little extra time. But pretty rare. Just bring your ID and if you have a birth certificate that might help. But in most cases no problem coming back.

I never have problems. The same if I come back, 15 minutes from Zona to the US (around midnight) The last trolley from San Ysidro is 1258 AM next after 430 AM. If you do not have a sentri card waiting time for the car to come back to the US is crazy, sometimes 2-3 hours.

Thanks guys for the intel. Yes risky driving in Tijuana but some of us have our reasons. Funny story I parked a couple weeks ago in malquerida parking structure. Had to go back to car to get my luggage. Cop was patrolling parking structure came up to me and was questioning me. I too drive a late model car anything but flashy. Immediately North of the Zona where there is HK, there is a drug infested neighborhood. If you don't look like you live in this neighborhood, Mexican LEO will stop you because they have reasons to believe that you are a drug buyer. The problem is that this is the easiest way to get to and depart the Zona. I have personally seen multiple busts in this area on my way to or from HK. And I mean a full blown bust with 7-8 soldiers with their foot on a couple of guys' necks while they are spread-eagled on the ground.

So the Tall Man, after an absence of about a year or more in Tijuana (I now live in Medellin Colombia), spent this past Sunday afternoon and the most of the night in Tijuana. We just do not realize how good it is. The next time that you go inside of Hong Kong Bar, do yourself a favor. Look around. Are the tables filled with Mexican Nationals spending their pesos? Or are their tables filled with United States citizens spending US dollars?

I have been able to read up on what to expect for taking a girl upstairs and my Spanish is decent as I like to travel to Spanish speaking countries multiple times a year. The $5-10 that normally goes to macho waiter buttholes now go to the little 100 year-old lady selling candy on the sidewalk. Honest work equals honest pay.

Otherwise, you give them your ID with $50 cash. . . And they issue you another VIP card. KaChing! To make your argument better, you might want to use your cellphone next time to photograph your VIP card with its number, in case it is lost. Then you can give them the card number to look up.
