Drove down last Saturday, departed OC 2 PM with 3 noobs. We talked all kinds of topics; noobs were having fun, expressing themselves freely, nobody was judging or blaming. There has been traffic slow down every weekend between Camp Pendleton through Carlsbad, 47 min delay this time. Got to Tijuana about 4, parked the car in Libra. Noob bought a box of 10 Maxifort 100 MG pills for 160 pesos or about 80 cents a pill. Pharmsa nearby had signs for 320 peso for the same box, twice as much, so it was a good deal. Maxifort is known to work well, mild with few side effect.
Gave 2-4-1 drink coupons to the noobs, told them to follow me through HK's back door to the front desk to get vouchers. Noobs walked in, saw the hot lesbian show going on the South stage, lingered and got lost. I made it to the front desk but lost sight of all 3 noobs. Got my voucher then walked around looking but could not find them. Took a stool near the main stage to watch the strip show, waiting for them to show. Eventually we found an empty table near the stage. I called in security and asked him to call in a floor manager. He ordered them to rearrange so we had a table with 2 couches near the stage all night. In California and the USA, there was a situation where prostitution was legal until around 1914 (San Francisco, New Orleans was like Tijuana) and without any state referendum prostitution became illegal mainly due to pressure from feminists. I'll tell you that on my last trip, I hit up HK during the day. For me, that was odd. LOL. Now, 99% of the time I go to HK, I'm staying at Ticuan or Pueblo Amigo. But I usually arrive at 9 or 10 PM. I'm usually in the club (or piso 7 during COVID) until 3 AM or so. I always leave in a taxi. Granted, it's not to the border. But my taxi has been stopped twice. Once, I think the police took $5 from me. To be honest, and it's a bit embarrassing, but I was just that drunk. I left HK knowing I had $5 in my shirt pocket for the taxi. When I got to the hotel, that $5 was gone. So either the cop swiped the $5 bill (most likely) or I dropped it somewhere (and that is possible). He did take $20 from the taxi driver as a mordida. The taxi driver earned it though. He was flying up the road about 3 AM and didn't even tap the brakes at an intersection.
Personally, I have no reservation at being in the zona at any time in the middle of the night. If I was heading back to the border in the early morning hours, I'd take the zona shuttle. I highly doubt the police would mess with that for fear of biting the cartel hand that owns the zona.
But to me, HK is very different late at night. There are pros and cons to night and day. It's definitely more of a party vibe the later you go. But with that, comes the crowd. You'll also see a lot more crazy stuff out in the open late at night. But days seem to be a little more chill, if you want some one on one time with a girl. Also, just my opinion, meseros were slightly less pushy during the day.

I don't know the exact scientific of it but basically it's some bad shit that can build up in your lungs and can kill you. So I immediately quit all smoking. Although I eventually went back to smoking "flower" I haven't touched wax since then. So there's a chance I had covid, there's a chance I had "popcorn lung", or it very possibly could've been both at the same time. Maybe the covid amplified my already damaged lung and made me realize I needed to stop smoking cheap wax, so maybe covid was a blessing in disguise.

Monday night got to to HK around 11 pm. The last exit before Mexico on the 805 was closed, luckily they have the you turn lane back to the USA.
I was skeptical about a Monday night but there was plenty of talent to choose from. I slept with two beautiful girls but my experiences were average. I tried to book the 9th floor 2-3 weeks out and they are booked. Not sure who has reserved the room so far in advance, maybe someone booked the whole floor for Mon-Tues for the whole month.

There is a latin brand of legit Xanax called Tafil that comes in blister packs with 1 MG tablets purple in color I believe. If bought in a legit farmacia should be as safe as Xanax can be. You can still overdose and die even on Xanax if take too much, mix with other drugs and/or alcohol. I recognize the brand Tafil because I brought some back undeclared from Juarez in 2015 and also bought some in Costa Rica.
I also saw Tafil for sale in numerous farmacias in Progreso last year when I legally brought back to Texas Zolpidem without an Rx. Yes without an Rx! I made several posts on Nuevo Laredo thread about how you can legally bring back most controlled control drugs without an Rx:

This was per USCBP web-site last year. Things may have changed. Search around and you should find the link. I printed copy of the page with this info. on it and carried with me. When I declared to U.S. customs agent he said "Is that it?". I replied Yes just these 50 dosage units of Zolpidem.
Now about this Zolpidem I only took it twice and didn't make me sick but I didn't really feel it was the real thing. Felt more like a Benadryl or melatonin. A clerk in another store told me the brand I bought not the real thing and to try the other but I haven't yet been able to get back down to south Texas.
Also I noticed during my Tj trips the legit farmacias didn't sell Zolpidem or Xanax. Most fun stuff I could find in TJ was Carisoprodol muscle relaxer and it mixed with an NSAID. I think each MEX border state has different rules for what they can sell.

I went to the DR, about 100 feet west of baja hotel which is across street of side of Ceasers hotel restaurant. The dr visit for my prescription which was antibiotic was like 3 dollars. You can't miss the office, and right next to it, is a respected pharmacy that locals told me to use. Pharmacy Roma. The antibiotics looked very professional. Viagra generic didn't need prescription also looked very good. You can look at google maps street view shows doctor price as 60 pesos. 3 bucks.

The exchange rate was pretty amazing too even with the bank's 30 peso usage fee. I just looked at my account and the total withdrawn was 303 bucks and some change.
