David. I hear ya man. Alfredo is my go to masero. Hes never done me wrong and hes a cool dude. Truly appreciative of tips and everything. Not pushy, yet always nearby if you need another drink etc. I trust him and like 2 other guys there but I don't even know their names. An older 40s-early50s bald guy. He always cool and gives me fist bumps whenever I see him. I only had him get me drinks one time but he remembers me all the time and is super cool. Another guy that is cool is a dude who looks like Rob Schneider during the day. He wears glasses. Nice dude always offering to get you something or light your cig or whatever. Enough talk about dudes though. Ha!
I'm going to my Sentri interview on Thursday down at Otay. I'm super excited to get it. Its $122 bucks for 5 years. I look at it this way. Even if you use it once a month for the 5 years that is only like $2 bucks a month. You tell me. Is it worth it to pay $2 bucks to bypass the always long line, walk your ass right up to the front and get through within 5-10 minutes of you being dropped off at the line by a taxi? HELL YES! Time is money and if you can save 1-2 hours potentially every time you cross, its well worth the investment and thats why I am getting it. I always go during the day during the week so the Sentri will always be open and fast. I'll let you guys know how the interview went.I rocked my Sentri pass for the first time last week and it is a bargin at twice the price in my book!! Hope all goes well with the interview. Was at the Halloween party in Hong Kong and I paid $70 to do a witch. I forgot her name but she had blonde curly hair, about 5'4, 32 see cup and a very warm pussy.
I actually went into H/k twice that day. When I first got there, I just walked right in. I was expecting it to be wall to wall people but it wasn't that bad.

Went down to get my Sentri card today and it was a disaster at first but then turned out fine. If you go, DO NOT USE GPS. I have a Garmin and it said right here and guess where I ended up? Mexico! I was pissed. I wasnt paying too much attention and swear I saw a sign that said U-turn to USA but where I got on the street I was passed it and before you know it, no turning back. I pulled a U-turn about a mile down the road and waited in line. It wasnt even that long but it still took an hour to get across. I had an appt at 11am. Didn't get back across the border until like 11:45. The agent at the line laughed when I told him I got lost. He told me exactly where to go though to park and everything to get to the Sentri office. Nice dude.
I got to the office and was bummed and thought I would have to reschedule or be denied because I missed my appt. I was greeted by a nice lady and she said no worries they would call me in a few minutes. They call you up and verify all your paperwork, take your picture and then your fingerprints. Then you sit down and wait until a CBP officer calls your name for the interview. The guy I had was super chill. He asked me a few odd questions at first like what was the name of the last school you attended. I got stumped for a minute because it had been so long ago. After that though he asked and verified my info. Asked me what I do in Mexico. Told him get tacos and go to the strip club. He said, pure leisure trips eh? I said yep. Then he asked if I had been arrested or detained before. Told him yes one time. Detained for a drunk in public. Last thing he asked if I had ever used illegal drugs. Told him I smoked weed in high school. He didn't bat an eye and didn't ask any follow up questions. If you are straight up honest with them I think they appreciate it. The whole interview was literally 5-10 minutes. I paid my fee and he said I should expect the card in 6-10 days. The ladies that work there at the office and the actual officer. Didn't get his name. They were all really nice. Red haired guy with a mustache maybe mid 40s or 50s. Super helpful and it was a quick and painless process.
Can't wait to get my card and start making my pilgrimages back down to Hong Kong to enjoy some beautiful ladies.
Had a nice visit to HK on Thursday evening, AB seemed a bit on the quiet side, but HK had a lot more people. I had my eye on three hotties I hadn't seen before, and just couldn't decide, each had their own special attraction.

Be prepared to deal with some harsh treatment at the SENTRI line in rare instances, a rookie CPB. The bus overflow uses the SENTRI line. Display your card by holding high indicating your are SENTRI to avoid waiting. It should be 5 minute crossing at best or 30 minutes after the bus load. Packages are scanned for SENTRI holder also in most cases. A lock down could cause couple hours delay and be prepared for it.

I was sitting at the stage in the back when this girl sat next to me. She was apart of the shaving cream show last Thursday. She remembered me sitting at the stage tipping and touching her. I brought her to a table where she ordered her drink and a plate of food. $19 total. Damn. She was next to go on stage so I moved to the stage to watch her dance. During her dance I was tipping her. And also counting my money so to make sure I have enough to go upstairs with her later. I barely had enough. After her dance she came over. Sat on me and worked on her food. She was sitting on me so my pants where tight and it was hard to get my wallet in. I might have dropped it. Not sure. I barely had enough to pay to go upstairs with her and catch a cab home so I decided to go out and pick from the alley but she interpreted my hand signals as if I were asking her to go upstairs. Whatever. I went with it.
We both stood up and I reached for my wallet to attempt to count one more time to make sure I had enough to pay her. Thats when I noticed my wallet was missing. I searched for it for 30 minutes and told the chick in the front, who told the DJ to announce it. There was no sign of my wallet where I was sitting at all.
I don't think she took it. She had no where to hide it unless she stuffed it up her ass or vagina. Her purse was in front of her the whole time. Whether or not I dropped it. Somebody behind me picked it up in those few minutes between me paying for her drink and us standing up. Either that or the guy sweeping the floor swept it up and dumped it. Which is pretty impossible my wallet is average size and average weight. Anybody would have noticed it was a wallet and not have dumped it. Anyway. Somebody has it. That's for sure.
Luckily I had $10 in my pocket from the change from when I had bought drinks earlier in the night. I could afford the taxi home. Had I not have had that $10 I would have been fucked up the ass with a paper condom.
I walked over the parking lot behind Jack in the Box where I parked my car. My ticket was in my wallet which was stolen. So I went up to the guy and told what happened. He couldn't speak English well and told me that I had to give him some possession of mine that was valuable. He told me I owed $30 for a lost ticket because it's $15 for a lost ticket per day. I left at 9pm Sunday, got back to the parking lot at 12:10 or so. $30. FML. Dude was not sympathetic at all. So I gave him my GPS as collateral.
I now have $5 left in my pocket. On the way home my gas light turns on. Without my GPS I was scrambling around trying to find a gas station. Luckily I found one. Bought $5 worth of gas and got home. I have $0 on me.
I just finished calling all my credit cards and banks to put a stop on my cards. It appears that nobody has attempted to take money or buy anything with my cards yet. Pheewww.
So, in total I probably lost under a hundred in cash. $70 to 80. A Dave and Busters card with about $25 in it. My driver's license. Etc. So not a huge loss. I didn't get to spend some alone time with any girls. So, I guess I was pretty lucky because I had a $10 bill from the change I got from buying beer earlier otherwise I'd be stuck in Tijuana right now. If that were the case I'd be totally helpless.
I think it's not cool to buy girls drinks and a plate of food that might have attracted too much attention from somebody who might have been there to steal. Counting $ is not cool either. Also, I'm not letting any girls sit on me anymore. It's not comfortable, my dick gets crushed and I'm going to wear my usual tighter jeans so nobody has any chance of reaching in. From now on I'm not going to pussy foot around and buy girls drinks and food I'mma just get her to go upstairs quick.
Have to have cash in different pockets when you're going down there guys. Again without that $10 I would have been fucked up the ass. Helpless, stuck in Tijuana. I might have had to ask guys for money or even the chicks I've banged and over tipped to borrow $5 for the cab ride. I would never walk to the border alone at night.

You can walk to the border. It's not far, done it many times, during the day and at night. Not the greatest solution, but it's doable.
Always keep a $20 bill IN YOUR CAR. Just in case shit happens.
Always keep money in separate, FRONT, pockets. Just in case...
Carrying a wallet is just asking to be pick-pocketed...

What would you guys have done?I found a nice looking belt that has a small zippered compartment on the inside. I always have $100 or so concealed inside when "out of the country."
Had I not have had that $10 I would have been fucked up the ass with a paper condom.
If so, I would think that wax paper would offer the best protection.
Who did you get back across the border, was your passport in separate location?
Personally, when I travel across any border, my wallet does not get the pleasure to accompany me. I only use my front pockets in TJ, one pocket for dollar bills, and the other for pesos. Any reserve and passport card is in a travel pouch and I will only access the pouch if needed, and with no one around. I also carry a couple of credit cards, for the ATM's in HK, just in case I have one of those "Here we go!" evenings like I did Friday night.
The parking ticket I leave in the car, and as Phordphan mentioned, a small hidden reserved for the "shit happens" incidents.
As far as what happen to your wallet, as much as I like many of the servers and ladies, there are even more that I would not trust as far as I could throw. From your story, it appears it could have been a lot worse. As far as not letting the girls sit next to you anymore, that would be a shame because they feel and taste so damn good!
I had my passport and condoms in my front left pocket. Mints, wallet and keys in my front right pocket. I usually keep a 100 bucks in my sock when I go to Tijuana. However, this time I kept only $35 there and I had removed it to put it in my wallet in order to gather the $60 it would take to bang this chick.
I'mma check out the travel pouch. Where do you keep it? Definitely have a separate stash of ones and a stash of ten's and a hidden stash in the pouch or somewhere else. It beats fumbling around for change and counting cash in the club. I'm not ready for pesos yet. Too much mental math. I'm probably going to go back soon to make up for last night. Maybe take Celias and bang like 7 SG's.
I would walk back before I would borrow $5. It's not far.
I don't carry my wallet. Just cash in a couple places. No need to bring credit cards.
If you're concerned about placing money, you can wear a money belt. No way someone going to pickpocket you that way. Just keep some money in your pocket so you don't have to reach into your belt in front of everyone to pay for a drink.

The wallet that I use has a belt loop and is put under my pants. It is very easy to get out when I want some dinero. It is black and matches the belt that I use so there is not outward appearance.
I also have a money clip watch, that way I don't have to wear a watch on my wrist, and my money is kept fairly straight.
You can find either on e-Bay or on-line.

If your still unsure, its not unheard of to duct tape folded cash around your calf and remove it in a locked stall.
Any kind of wristwatch gets attention, even from people asking for the time.
They may ask and as you glance down, someone grabs your neck.
Many of us are most vulnerable when drinking and/or focusing on the hottie grabbing our junk.
Believe its a good idea to take your pants everywhere you go in the room including the bathroom to prevent temptation. Be wary of girls that offer you to go wash first.

This picture is an example of a good travel pouch, and this one is on eBay starting at 99 cents. You really don't want to wear a fanny pack, too bulky, and it makes you look like a silly tourist in search of Magic Mountain.
The belt mentioned would also be a good option, but it might not be large enough for a passport. Also, a baggy un-tucked shirt helps and makes it hard to see the travel pouch

When I undress I don't take my belt off my pants. They really don't even see wallet because it is still inside my pants, and the strap that connects it to the wallet is in between the first and second belt loops. Yes, I would imagine if she saw the wallet that she would figure the money is in it.
As others have said, you would need to "drop my drawers" to get it, and there is no outward appearance of something under my pants.
Would you rather have one feel offended, or still have your money? Do whatever you think will protect you and your money.

It would be nice if secured lockers were available to store critical documents and money. Has anyone found a place in TJ where one store other than the safe in the hotel room.

I was surprised by the number of individuals in an overflow situation at HK. First time I have seen so many individuals in a smoke filled building with hardly room to move. I am sure they were over the fire rated building capacity. Blocking the half the entrance in the front and back with entrance drink sales further degrated the fire safety standards at HK.

One of the best products I own is a 6 pocket football girdle from UNDER ARMOUR. Basically they are "dri-fit" boxer briefs with 6 pockets. One huge crotch pocket 2 on the high 2 on the hips and one on your tail bone.
The only way someone can get your things is to go inside your boxer shorts. Pockets are inside next to your skin. $30 I think.

They were putting up balloons and shit like that. A ton of chicks were there. Of course my favorite Angie was there. Looking awesome as always. And she dances on stage to Welcome To The Jungle by Guns and Roses. My favorite dancer and favorite song all in one. Can't beat it. Didn't get any dances today. Just had a few bottles of water and chilled tipping a couple of the chicks. I did find out that on Fridays and Saturdays waters/sodas are $4 bucks instead of $3. I usually go on Thursdays. Anyways. There was a new girl there that I don't remember seeing before. Elizabeth. Huge real tits that were super soft. I could squeeze them all day. Nice ass too. I did not know this and he cracked a joke saying something to the effect of, guess they didn't tell you how to use it huh? I laughed. He asked if I was bringing anything back and that was it. Total time from getting out of the taxi, across the border and to my car. Less than 5 minutes. You simply cannot beat that. It will pay for itself if you use it a few times a year. You figure, time is money. And $122 bucks for a 5 year pass. You would be silly not to get one. That Sentri pass truly is monger gold. Boy am I glad that I got one. Many more quick trips to Mexico are in store.
Never had to Self-Swipe the card yet of all my visits. Comply to some crazy CPB test is the best one can do even if being sent to Secondary inspection for having hands in the pocket. CBP staff is full of surprises from my experience to the say the least.
Swipe machine is a government property to be used by the CPB staff unless it is indicates to swipe like in the "Global Entry." One is trained in Global Entry to do demo swipe as part of the interview. Have they changed the Sentri system to self-swipe?
Do the best and enjoy the quick happy exit.

I was never a fan of Hong Kong bar in the past but this last Sunday changed all that for me. I went to TJ Sunday with a buddy, we ending up spending most of our time in there... The place was full of hotties.

The $3. 00 beer cost way less than that and the girl drinks are even more profitable even when they pay out her commission. Most clubs forbid their girls from working outside the clubs (loosely enforced, only if a stupid customer tells them will they find out). Some girls will go arriba a lot and make good money doing that so having to pay out for missing fichas makes economic sense to them. Others will try and do both. Superstars get $$$ with both.

Meeting customers outside of working hours isn't really a significant loss of revenue for the clubs, as the Tijuana business model is a bit different than that of other countries. The guys usually aren't there for extended periods. They go down for an evening, have some fun, go home. They don't have time to arrange trysts before or after shifts.
Also, most of the girls don't work outside of business hours. Many do, but I think the majority do not. There are a million reasons, like taking care of kids, taking care of a boyfriend / husband, sleeping, they don't like to hang with gringos outside of work, whatever.
If it ever becomes a problem, you can bet the clubs will find a way to minimize any outside activity.
As far as your girl goes, were you with her when she arrived? If not, they're not going to just let some chica off the street wander into the hotel and go to a customer's room. She's going to have to check in at the desk, probably tell them what room she's going to, etc.

My guess is that they will play it though. Adelitas also has many flat screens, but none nearly the size at HK. If nothing else, you could get someone to turn some of the TV's on to the game.
I will be there with some wingmen flying in from Washington D. C, and Washington state. For us, it doesn't really matter though. We are more into hot Latinas than watching sports (even the Stuperbowl) on TV. This is what makes it a good day. The women do not understand why they are not getting any attention during the game. If you don't like watching the game at HK, you can go across the street to the Caliente and see it. This is a very good place to watch sporting events. If you don't see something on, you can request it and they will try to get it for you. If you do watch the game there, you can go back to HK for there halftime show.

They added a lot of TVs for the World Cup last year so even if you can't see the big screen over the bar, you can catch things the others. Adelita Bar and the others have signs up for it as well. The bars that court the gringos for sure, but even the locals only bars will have the game as the NFL has spent a lot on the Mexican market to gain interest in Fútbol Americano. The NFL Channel is on basic cable in some cities. When the NFL has had exhibition games at Azteca Stadium, over 100K people showed up. If the drug war ever ends, I could imagine the NFL expanding into Mexico in a heartbeat.

The selling of photos and chips seems to be the norm, at least since I have been going there. The cheese tray is rather new, and the cheese sucks!

AFAIK, there is only one pedestrian bridge across the Rio Tijuana. Your map says "catwalk" but that is the pedestrian bridge. Maybe they were thinking of really, really large cats.
You go through the initial turnstiles when you cross the border. Proceed straight to the next set of turnstiles. Proceed straight through the gaggle of yellow taxi drivers. Turn right, go past the trinket and taco stands. Cross the street. McDonald's will be on your right when you get across. Proceed straight until you hit a dead end. Go up the criss-cross ramp. Cross the bridge (catwalk). Go down the other side. Proceed toward the arches. As long as you don't turn off of the pedestrial "mall" that you're on, you will end up as the giant arch.
You can't miss it. A moderately intelligent chimp can do it easily. I realize that lets out most of the readers of this board, but you'll be fine. (Smileys don't work here)
BTW, Avenida Puente is for cars and is a fur piece from the border, at least if you're walking.

It's OK to use 10p coins for tips. They take 'them, but I've never figured out where they put 'them. Or, if you'll be tipping a lot, just make sure you take a bunch of $1 bills, which are much easier to handle.

1. Come down to the Zona around 4 and stay and watch the fights and check out the chicas and go back and cross around 10 or 11.
2. Get there the same time, get a room at Cascadas and catch the fight and do a mini tour before calling it a night and crossing in the morning.
I hate long lines so just wondering what to expect if I cross back around 10 or 11 Saturday night. Haven't been to Tijuana since 1998. At that time, Chicago and Adelita's were the better spots.
Any other tips would be appreciated.

Its 50 bucks which is paid right there. Its an actual hard / non flimsy card with a magnetic stripe (not sure if it works) on the back. They print your name on it and it expires 6 months from when you buy it.
The 25 drink coupon is a postcard sized thing. The lady (Monserath) or however you spell it told me that you have to use it the same day you purchase the card, and you have to use it all at once. She doesn't get there to the front desk until like 1 or 2 most days so I explained to her that I was leaving right now. She said she would make "an exception" to the rule and that I can use it next time I come in. Here's another kicker though. You have to use the coupon all at once. So example. You have to order a bucket of beers, or 6 shots of tequilla or whatever all at once. Thats the only part that sucks. I always roll there solo and don't drink alcohol while there. So its going to look silly having a bucket full of 8 cokes sitting next to me the whole time. This coupon is awesome if you drink a lot of beers or are rolling with a group of people. Anyways. I go down at least a few times a month so the 50 bucks is worth it to me because of the free drink and I usually get a lap dance so your first one is only 10 bucks. After 4-5 visits it will pay for itself. There are some other discrepancies too about some of the other things. This is what I heard. Can't confirm.
Free pick up to / from border-they will either pay the taxi driver your 5 bucks to get there from the border, or may start using a coupon system to give the taxi drivers when you get dropped off / leave right in front of HK.
Extra hotel time- Heard it was an additional 15 minutes so instead of 30 you get 45.
I have to get word about these and will ask next time I'm down. If its true, the taxi thing would be great. I know in the past if you called them from the border, they would send the Hong Kong van to pick you up. You have to wait for them though which is shitty. If they hook up the cab driver with a ticket like they do for chicks dances / fichas, then the taxi driver can cash them in at the end of the night, that would be awesome! Went down today because last time I was there, I purchased my VIP card but didn't get to use the $25 drink coupon. I got inside and used my VIP card for my free drink. Then used the $25 card. You do have to use it all at once so what I did was get a bucket full of 6 waters. Got some weird looks from the maseros looking in the bucket when they saw water but whatever. I chilled for a bit and watched some chicks dance. My favorite girl was there so I decided to take her up to VIP. My new masero friend Xavier hooked up a deal where I could buy 6 fichas ($42) and he led me up the VIP room with my favorite girl. Ill tell you what. It was the best $42 bucks I ever spent at the club. The VIP rooms are pretty nice and comfy inside. I was in the one right above the main shower on the 2nd floor overlooking the club out towards the entrance. Its super private too. You have to walk past a guy and then down and around to get in it. So basically nobody could sneak up on you per say because you would see them coming. Xavier only came up one time to check on us and it must have been close to an hour. Usually VIP is 10 drinks ($70) and you get to hang with the chick until the drinks are finished. Had a great time talking, getting lap dances etc. Its basically a one hour free for all with the chick of your choice. I don't bone chicks down in Tijuana and for whatever reason, if you are in the same boat, the VIP room is your best bet. Hung out for awhile and then left. Hong Kong is a strip club and most of the girls are available to go upstairs for comparable rates to Adelita girls. If you think of Adelita as a hooker bar with a stripper stage, Hong Kong is strip club with hookers. There's a lot more stripping stages and they will almost always have a cream lesbian show going on. Then there's a lot of girls just dancing on the bars or on little pistas near tables. You can tip the girl a dollar for few seconds of groping, or waive her down and buy her a drink. Like US-styled strip clubs, there's privado booths ($20 for a few minutes, your mileage may vary as to what you get for that) , and VIP rooms. Unlike US-styled clubs there isn't a "no touching" rule.
Girl drinks cost the same and you're expected to ply her with drinks while she sits with you, just like Adelita. If you find a girl you want to go upstairs with, you'll need to pay the bouncer $1 for her robe and the hotel above is $15/30 minutes. There are more recently remodeled rooms but in general are about the same as Adelita.
I personally prefer Adelita Bar but will always go to Hong Kong during my weekly visits. Some nights it is stifling hot and crowded with guys which gets in the way of getting the hottest girls. There's a lot more girls there, but quantity doesn't mean quality.
Note on weekends, you have to buy a Tecate at the door to get in. If Tecate isn't your brand, you can exchange the unopened canned for another brand or bottle of water.

I have had a couple disappointing conversations with chicas at HK who do not go to the hotel. They'll drink with you in HK, and go to one of the Strip rooms, but won't go "arriba" to the hotel.
Every chica in AB will go upstairs to the hotel with you, but not all in HK will, most do, but just keep in mind that a small number do not, for their own reasons. I've certainly had some really fun times with chicas there and frequently visit both HK and AB.
You can always ask a Mesero if he knows if a chica goes "arriba", I've had one inform me that a chica I wanted didn't go arriba. It's up to you, some people are happy to just drink and go to one of the Strip rooms. Whatever floats your boat.

I would just ask the lady if she goes upstairs. We are talking about ladies who work in a club in Tijuana. That would be one of the milder questions she will get ask in her shift. Also I would recommend that you negotiate a price with her prior to buying drinks. I have been quoted up to $100 in HK. It is not unusual to hear $80 these days, but they will come off of that quickly. If not, NEXT.
Also in HK they seem to run more scams. Watch out for the chips being thrown on the table and then charging you for them. Also I had a wingman that suddenly a plate of wings shows up, without his knowledge. He asked,"Who ordered these"? He was told the girl did. He told them then to get the money from her. All of a sudden it was,"Well you didn't pay for the last round, you owe $8. 00". They got into a heated discussion, and suddenly the Policia was at his table. He paid the $8. 00 rather than to take a chance on going to the Tijuana jail.
This may sound like I don't like HK. On the contrary, I really enjoy HK, for short spurts during the day. For me, it gets way to crowded at night, and at times, very hot. HK is a bar that all mongers should visit at least once.

I'd say the best strategy to get the best bang for your buck is to never sit down with a girl and buy her drinks. One exception, if it's the girl that you've identified is the hottest and you've made it your mission to go upstairs with her tonight. Then, you can buy one drink.

It's been 15 long years since I last visited Tijuana. I had a layover Friday night in SD so I decided to drive from my hotel in downtown SD and headed south on I5 to the border. Heading to Tijuana from the east cost for a extended weekend to check on all the chicas. Since I only get here once a year, and will only be in Tijuana for 4 nights, I am asking for some help. Alright so Monday was 4th of July and watching some of those illegal fireworks from my cousins backyard. I realized I too wanted something illegal and explosive. So the next day I went of to Tijuana. Room was hot . could not finish as the room was too hot and it was not for me.Hot rooms are a problem for me too. I don't ever remember any of the rooms having individual thermostats. Before paying for the room I try to remember to ask for a room with a fan. If I get to the room and it is too hot or the fan doesn't work, I always ask the clerk for a different room and the problem is corrected. Those expensive $15 rooms are in classy hotels and they want satisfied customers. Of course, this may not work with the $5 rooms that the street girls use.

Hotel Cascadas does have some rooms with air conditioning. How do I know? I've used them. They don't have individual thermostats however.

I buy a small disposable camera, the 35mm plastic ones, so there is no way anyone can look at pics you've taken, and it's inexpensive so if it's lost it's no problem. My fault in the part was handing him $20. 00 while the tequila was still flowing. He handed me my change which was $7. I looked and he had thrown the small food plate on the table, with two cans of coke and no rum. I called him back over and he took it away, and gave me my change $2. 00. So now I have paid $11. 00 for two cans of coke. I would have made more out of it, but the tequila masero quickly started pouring gratis tequila. They said he was new, and I had not seen him before, but needless to say he will never be my waiter again. Let the buyer beware.
Other than that we had a great time in Hong Kong on Saturday during the day. I pretty much stay away from HK at night, since I have a favorita at Chicago who teats me very well.

Thurs. Sat, they were making you buy a Tecate at the door for $4. Liked the Tecate Lite option. Sunday, no minimum. Quality of girls was excellent. All shapes and sizes. Use to be primarily a AB guy, but spent most of my leche in HK.
Shaving cream show was upstairs 2 of the 3 nights I saw it. One night, saw them pulling guys on stage for Tequila shots.
Masseros are a pain in the ass! Run you over to get past you. Constant bother for pushing drinks. Chica drink half full, asking if she wants another, trying to sneak the chips in to the chica drink.

Now I go to the bar and get my own and tell them all when they see me without one, that "I WILL GET MY OWN AT THE BAR RIGHT NOW". They give you a look but I could care less, as long as they get the point. If you frequent HK, they know who you are and remember you, they will stop bugging you for a drink because they know you are going to get your own drink to spite them. LOL I HATE THE WAITERS THERE. Damn I really do. Yes you are right, I stopped going up with the girls after having to pay for some dude to hand her a robe that was something that rubbed me the wrong way ever since. Now a days it became common practice to waiters in HK not to give correct change. 3 times they charged me $10 for chica drink I called him and asked why he over charged, and he gave a chips packet and said chica asked for that and he forgot to give it before. Off course lady said she did not ask for that.
Be careful, check the change and ask them right there or best option is to hand over the exact change.

They willnot kick you out for not buying enough beers, but they will give you a look of "Disgust" (which I ignore) and don't really care, they just want to see if they can get a buck from ya for bringing it to you. I always just go buy another beer at the bar while my buddy holds on to the seat, and I make sure the waiter that was hassling me about buying ANOTHER friggin drink see's me go buy it. I HATE THESE GUYS they are assholes IMHO, but I know how to deal with them. You are not obligated to have them go and bring you a drink, just get up and get it yourself just to spite the aholes, I say. But, No! You will not literally be kicked out if you don't buy a beer from a waiter, but yes they can hassle you to GIVE UP THE SEAT so that someone who is going to be buying a beer can sit at the booths so that they can earn 1 more dollar, that's all it's about is them making all the 1 tips they can get out of you. It's ridiculous at times because they are very aggressive with their tactics of sneaking in chips while your paying and talking to a girl at the same time. They think you won't notice your change missing 2 bucks. (I always do and I let'them know, to take the chips away, I don't want them). They smile and politely say "Sorry sorry, I thought you want for the lady", hahaha, Yah right! Just be on your toes, hold a beer in front of you or sit it in front of you and you'll be fine the whole time you're there. BTW, these waiters act independantly in how they want to TRY to bring up some stupid policy about buying a drink and sitting for more than 5 minutes or however length of time, so don't worry most of the time they will just frown and wonder off with a wave of your hand motioning "no I don't want it right now" and they go away. This thing with them pushing a drink on you mostly happens during a shift change, when new waiters come aboard and don't know (or pretend to not know) , that you have been sitting there buying drinks like crazy. IT's all a game for a 1 dollar tip. Enjoy the shows and use common tactical sense and keep a drink with you and you'll be fine, even if your not drinking it much. These guys are floating around all night lurking around to see who they the pull their stunts on. It's all a game just be aware of their games and you'll be fine.
