You guys had horrible experiences. It did not and should not be like that.
La Isla Once I complained about the numbers of hot chicas there early on a Friday night. . they took me on a tour of the dressing room so I wouldn't leave. WOW I fucked a lot of models from there at my hotel.
Although I have been in Parque Llaras etc. I have never picked up SW's there (only in Tijuana) Seems that you have not found what I have in La Isla & other places in Colombia. Even now I do the math comparing Tijuana to Colombia. It's a long "drive" to Medellin compared to MX.
MX is a good option when you are pressed for time and sometimes there can be hot girls. Safe? Depends on where you are and how you roll. I lived there. Seen too much.I've had some good experiences in CO also but have to keep a low profile. However no matter where you go especially now with rising anti-gringo sentiment could get in trouble. My last trip Nov. 2019 I went to Envigado to walk around, have dinner then taxi back. I hailed a taxista off the street in nice area but he got really upset when I called the street we were driving on 'Ave. Poblado'. It was the same street but there in Envigado apparently called something else before it got into Poblado. I had to 'lo siento' a few times and 'tranquilo' but he still giving me the mean eye as I walked uo to my apartment. I wasn't rude to him just really happy I had a nice dinner out and purchased 3 large bottles of Aguila light beer for $1. 15 apiece. And it wasn't that late sometime before 10 PM.
Clubs unfortunately still allow smoking.
Sometimes I get driven out of some areas of HK club due to intensity of the smell.
In fact the Covid masks are a God send since we can now wear masks without looking wierd. I do that sometimes if I don't want to move.CORRECTION: due to a recent change in Mexican laws. SMOKING NOT ALLOWED ANYMORE AT HK.

Absolutely. I'm sure the kid wasn't perfect / straight-laced. (I surely am not and most people aren't LOL.) But in reading the article it seems he was just a 23-year old young man from Jamaica who had only lived in the USA For a few years but had already gotten his USA Citizenship and had joined the Navy. Obviously didn't know the kid but sounded like he was at least trying to make something of his life vs. Being out on the streets or whatever. Shame he went out the way he did OD'ing in the hotel of a brothel (article said he died in room 607). You almost wish his family didn't have to find out those circumstances.I am sure this probably happens way more often then we aware of. It is very sad how the drug problem is getting much worse, all over the world especially in America.
Dude probably deserved it. Bringing drugs into the hotel, probably wanting to drug his women as well, this dude had no good intentions or respect for the women working there. I have no sympathy for his death.So you know nothing about this person and seem to judge him on what he was doing. I hate to break the news to you but a majority of these girls do drugs so he wouldn't have to try very hard to get a girl to do drugs with him.

Anyway I found some time and money on my hands so I'm likely booking a trip to the zona early next month. Wanted to know if this is a good time to go to HK?
I won't be raising the rates up or any of that nonsense. Firm $80 USD for a session, maybe $90 depending on the girl. If I can neogitate 1-2 hour sessions I would pay more, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get that with the more desirable girls, I'll try nonetheless.

I will go to Tijuana sometime in the next two weeks. A few questions:
1. I am considering staying in Tijuana Monday-Wednesday (I want to avoid the weekend sausage fest). Will high quality girls be available in HK on these days of the week? If so, what time should I expect them to come out?

I will answer per my experience.
1. I recently checked out HK on Tuesday and Wednesday. In my opinion the girls are still gorgeous. The quality of women may go up during the weekend. But if you want to avoid the crazy weekend crowds then during the week is good.
2. I recommend Rizo de Oro. Its newer & affordable hotel. You can take HK, Chicago, Tropical Bar, and street chicks there. Other hotels will charge you a bucket of beers if you keep a working girl over an hour. That gets expensive after a while.
3. You can pay the hotel in cash. I always make the reservation online to have the room ready to go. They will ask for ID to check-in. The rest you can pay in cash.
4. In my experience I have never been able to convince / pay a HK to give me a BBBJ. I am told they show the consequences of BBBJ during hooker training so the girls are scared straight. I also haven't had luck with street girls. And it isn't for lack of asking or providing more money. My go to for BBBJ is Chicago. I recommend a gir named Yanira she has braces. She isn't too much of a looker but she will suck a golf ball through a garden hose. BBBJ all the way.

I wouldn't even bother smoking cigarettes / cigars there if you do that in the states.

So just seems like the party has been moved and if HK isn't opened for the weekend expect it to be a mess and overcrowded or they might charge a higher cover to get in.

UPDATE: Authorities have made their way over to Tropical.I've been saying for 3 years now, hk should charge 80 for short term room, ten dollar cover, 140 over night rooms. Because they already priced out the guys on any sort of budget. It already turned into two types of guys. Guys who make 140 k a year or more, and guys who only go 3 days a year. I didn't concern myself with others wealth in past because I had enough to hang out in hk 3 days week 6 months year. But the price increase made me realize how low income I am. All sudden I was never going upstairs. Then I reduced my ficha drinks by 80%. Now I just pop in for 20 minutes and leave for normal bars on revolution street. But I always said hk may as well increase prices by 800% because the guys have more money than they know what to do with. Watching the rich guy make it rain by the 1000's every night, watching another guy tip the robe guy a 100 dollar bill, reading all the guys on here tipping for BBBJ or extra 10 minutes or kissing. I used to get all that for 50 at hk 6 years ago. No tipping. 12 dollar over night hotel cascadas. 2 free beers every Monday Tuesday night. They were fun times.

If prices go higher then most americans will just go somewhere else and not to HK anymore. HK cannot sustain itself off of just a few high rollers. HK lives off the average american monger that wants to spend $200 USD for the night to fuck a few girls, drink, and have dinner. I had noticed increased foot presence of military on revolucion since I arrived Wed evening. My rev side street hotel went up another 6 dollars a day, plus the couple dollars I lose with inflation. This hotel has gone up 6 dollars a year for years now. Will just stay in San Diego hotels more often as its only 15 more but I get pool ice machines free parking and save time.
Thank goodness they keep everyone anonymous. Imagine if some clientele were shown on video feed inside the club and spouses, business associates, etc. Saw the footage. It could get ugly. I'm sure it would also be used for extortion in the future. The issue is I've seen cameras on all the light posts in ZN so I'm sure they have footage as well of who enters and leaves the area. If they implemented same camera technology as SD then it would include facial recognition software and sound detection for shots fired with license plate readers. Hopefully they don't implement CBDC which tracks how we use our money.

I have seen the same girls from the street to the HK club and some even get back to the street. Best example if the beautiful gal called Wendy who stand at the back alley outside HK club (some have called her Anahi).

Prostitution in Zona Norte is completely legal and if chica is older than 18 then everything is in accordance with local law. Maybe a reputational problem could be groping and kissing chicas if someone is a famous politician or priest or the reason for divorce if someone is married and it's shown in the video.
HK was closed when I arrived in the Zona around 7 pm. Went inside Chavela's for a bit. It was very crowded. They was back open around 8:30 pm I believe.

I've been saying for 3 years now, hk should charge 80 for short term room, ten dollar cover, 140 over night rooms. Because they already priced out the guys on any sort of budget. Was at HK on a Friday / Saturday night and everything was super crowded. I've got a bit of a buzz going and don't speak a word of Spanish. Watching the whipped cream show and then all of a sudden all the guys leave, like almost everyone. Went to HK Saturday night after the Uber driver who picked me up told me it was closed. I found it to be about 70% of the normal sized crowd on a Saturday night. The quality and selection of girls was awful though. It was the worst I have ever seen it, and I am sure it had a lot to do with the recent closure and rumors flying around. Investigators were looking for video from inside the club and the hotel to rule out foul play. I do not get the need to shut the club down on a Thursday night for this, but that is the story I got. That same night, there was a fire at Chicago. Coincidence? Who knows, but does anyone think these buildings are properly wired and are not at risk of fire?
Safety. I found no issues with safety especially if you stay inside the club. If walking, you cross the border and walk for 30 seconds before you are in their limo / truck thing and getting dropped in front of the club. As you step out of the vehicle, there is a ton of security in front of the club. Everyone goes through a metal detector and pat down before entering. If you do not dress flashy or wear flashy jewelry or try to score some drugs, you will be fine. I did walk around the block once on Sunday night and did not sense any concerns. Let's face it, whether you are in Tijuana, at an outlet mall, or in any public space, you always need to be aware of your surroundings. Since I go to Tijuana alone, I don't drink too much and do not put myself in a vulnerable position.
Prices. I read posts referring to "stupid Americans" crossing the border and driving up prices. I do not know any club I have gone to post pandemic where prices are not up significantly. I think it is natural for anyone from the US but especially someone from California to get carried away when they can pay $5 for a beer and $100 for 30 minutes with a girl. A beer at a US club cost $10+ and 20 minutes in a room with a girl from SR COI will cost you $400-$500+. I was at HK three nights and the Asian Americans that I saw were partying, having a lot of fun, and appeared to be spending the most money. I spoke to many girls and they love the Chinese, Korean and Japanese customers from California. I spoke with a girl that was a solid 10 and she told me she has no problem getting $300 for 30 minutes from her Asian customers from So California. I don't hold a strong opinion on this, but I do think HK offers great value even if prices have escalated or if people appear to be driving up prices.
Talent. I saw many posts about the lack of beautiful girls. Maybe some of these posters want to keep people from flooding Tijuana, but I saw some real beauties at HK on 2 out of 3 nights. One night the talent was so so and that was the night HK was closed. I would say the talent was so good that there were more girls that I wanted to be with than my body would allow me to take to my room.
My Visits. Upon my arrival I immediately purchased the 3 months VIP card and then went and got a room at Cascada. Since I will normally see 3-4 girls during a night, it makes sense to get a room. I always put my wallet, passport and extra cash in the safe in the room before going down to HK. I think the rooms at Cascada have been upgraded since my last visits and are worth the money especially if you like to rest a little after each session with a girl. My first night was on a Sunday and I was really shocked how many girls were working and how many customers were in full party mode. I personally have a preference for thin latinas that are not covered in ink. I found plenty to choose from. I think buying girls drinks is a great way to cut loose and get a vibe for a girl before taking her to a room, but the cost can add up quickly. I was there last year for my Birthday, with my buddy. We stayed in one of the Penthouse and we had an amazing trip. Yes, HK is more expensive, then before Covid, but so is everything else. Excellent, excellent point. I read all the sob stories on this and other boards about the trouble people get into in Tijuana and am convinced a large percentage of them (maybe not the majority, but a large portion) are at least partly due to poor decisions the person made (often while drunk) to put themselves in the position of being harassed in the first place. But when they post their sob stories to these boards they nearly always leave out the stupid shit they did to put themselves in a bad situation / vulnerable position.
Have been through a bunch of parts of Tijuana over the past 10-12 years and personally never even come close to having trouble with anyone. Whether it be Zona Norte or anywhere else out and about in Tijuana. Everyone's always been real cool. In general Mexico is more chill and laid-back than the USA Much of the key is to. As you pointed out. Stay aware of your surroundings (including staying in generally safe areas), keep a low profile, and refrain from doing stupid shit in another country. But for some it's apparently a lot harder than others to follow those simple rules. Obviously can't deny the abundance of corrupt police and high crime but again, you can mitigate those risks with basic street smarts and keeping a low profile.

Even if your going out to smoke 2 x hour you can't buy a bottle unless you have a trust worthy friend to watch it. But your probably going out to smoke. Some guys don't even want to go out to smoke because now your on the street. Just like in the real hobby world back in the US, some are clock watchers and other not so much. One of my best experiences in HK was a couple years ago, brought a spinner up to my room in Rizo late in her shift. Once we finished with a terrific session, I offered her a back rub, which led to more and her falling asleep in my lap for about an extra half hour. Nothing else really happened, just was nice. Most of these girls are decent people who have been dealt a lousy hand and are just trying to get through life like the rest of us!Good for you man! I agree these chicas didn't grow up thinking I'm going to service gringos or be a puta when they grew up. The only reason it is economically feasible for us to play south of the border is that it is legal and it is better value per dollar. You don't have to worry about being robbed by a pimp, arrested in a sting operation, or a rob from a sexworker that decides to high tail it after the money exchange. I hope the best for them, but most sadly seem to go down a vicious cycle of alcohol and drugs.
How about if you see a girl set up an alarm right as you're about to start your session, kick them out immediately LOL. I'm not going to say it's never happened but I honestly can't remember a bar girl ever doing that with me. The only incident I can think of was a few months ago I had a room at Cascadas and took one of the more popular girls up to my room. Eventually her phone went off so she must have set an alarm very discreetly, but by that point we were already done and she just silenced it and continued laying in my bed for another 10 minutes or so before she finally took off.
Now, there are other certain times when you reach around the 25 minute mark and the girl will give you a heads up that her time is about to be up, but they're nice about it and you don't have to hear an annoying alarm going off. But if a girl blatantly sets up an alarm in front of you, what are the chances it will be a good session? Probably slim to none. That's why I say kick them out and save yourself some cash. Find a girl that won't be a clock watcher. This is where having your own room pays off. When I have a private room most girls will easily stay over the 30 minute mark and you don't get a knock on your door until the 1 hour mark instead of the standard 30 minutes. Pretty much all the girls I'm familiar with always stay the full hour at no extra charge. Just treat them right, make them laugh, don't be a creep, offer them something to drink even if it's just water, something to snack on if you have anything, you should always have something. If you have a regular find out what their favorite snacks are. In other words make them comfortable. They would rather much be in your room, relaxing and having a good time than down at the club, believe me. Most of their time spent in the club, these girls are bored out of their skulls.

I am OK with gals who set time. Time is money in their business and I respect that.

I get mostly street girls (mostly just usually Karumi).
I set the timer AFTER WE ARE properly unclothed / ready. And I show timer to them.
Advantage of this is I get the FULL hour AFTER we are ready.
None of the BS of time starts when we enter room and time to cleanup.
I get full agreed minutes of session fun.
And I usually do not get any over-time. But I don't expect over-time with street girls anyway. I pay them for the full hour.
In the distant one gal did stay for much longer than the session time. But she moved out of town.
