Looking to meet up with other BM's on my second trip to Medellin. I was there in 2018 but I found it a challenge due to not speaking Spanish. In spite of that, I had a good time and I hired an English speaking tour guide who showed me around. I'm going to be going to different cities to explore sights too but I have been reading a lot about "mongering" here in Colombia so anyone with more experience would be a plus. I barely get by with my Spanish but one of the goals is to get better at it, trial by fire style.

Me: Mid 40's, brown skin, pass for latino, born in USA, and keep a low profile. I'm in town and will be working, but playing too.
This is my fourth trip to Medellin this year, and I'm far from a pro. I do facebook girls, but I'm known to go to Energy casa, and another in Laureles that a bro shared with me on the condition I keep it on the down low. I could swear I read of a casa in barrio manila next to poblado, so that's on my list to investigate, and there was something about university chicas (near UBP?) that I wanted to look in to, I've got the whatsapp number.
I've enjoy dinner in the nicer restaurants regularly, but I'm not one to pull from parque lleres and I never have and never will step in to Gustos (but have banged a number of chicas who 'work' there). I've no longer stay at the mansion. I paid for a tour years ago to a bunch of the centro casas and bars in the daytime, SWs not really my game at the moment. Done all of the tourist stuff, but thinking of flying to Cali, CTG, BAQ, or santa marta for Labor day weekend for new adventures.
If you're fucking around with tussi or marching powder or whatever that's not weed or alcohol, I strongly suggest you test it. I've got a full reagent test kit I flew down last time, so I'm happy to help you there, but I'm not a pro. I'm donating it to a local harm reduction NGO when I leave.
PM me if you think meeting for a beer and trading stories would be mutually beneficial. I'm not fluent in Spanish but been getting better and better, and getting by when traveling to Spanish speaking countries consistently for the last 5 years.

I highly recommend going to the mezzanine on 105 and 15th - 106 parque. Tall building on the south side. Look for outdoor staircase. Go up and the magic will begin. Only little problem. The rooms are the size of a shoebox. You can get 50 minutes for 80 K. I'd suggest going into every room. There are like 5 - and scope out ALL the girls (do it quick in case you want one and she's gone when you get back). And have fun. Was with a young spinner all natural sweet face. Was fun. GL.

It's a freaking freak show (and I was there last night. Thursday) . Everyone needs to see this. And yes Troya was the best club. Entered most just to see. Settled on Troya. The lap dances are magical. The 20 minutes I wasn't into. Perhaps I'll be into it tonight or tomorrow night. It's worth the price of admission to see the fuss at Santa Fe. P.S. I'm heading to Colombia for my first time in February. Thing is, I will be traveling with someone who doesn't monger and can be judgmental, so I'll have to meet chicas discreetly. Cases sound like the best bet, especially if they are open early. For sure hitting up Bogota and Medellin, and he wants to tour a coffee plantation, so maybe Salento? Iwe are undecided between Cartagena and Santa Marta, or maybe Cali.

Visiting Cartagena today Friday 11/08 for 3 days. First visit and wanted to get a taste of the scene. 45 yr white dude from NY.

There are almost none unless you want to pay an exorbitant fee. I'll be there next week and I did Airbnb that's what most recommend but be sure to ask the host about the guest policy.

I am making a flexible time first trip to Cucuta anywhere between 2/15 and 3/30. I speak fluent Spanish including Venezuelan and Colombian slang. I am in my mid 30's and would like to visit Cucuta for the first time. I am looking For someone to hang out with who will be there between Feb. 15 and March 30 who has been there before and knows the city well.
I am flexible with travel dates and I am open to paying for a night out on the town in return for the advice and of course sharing a few beers. I have traveled to other cities in Colombia but that was a few years ago. I just signed up here and will be updating with premium membership shortly.

First off I would like to say thanks to Nounce, he helped me to set up a business that allowed me to make US currency while being abroad and I never knew it would be a success, but it has been. So starting real soon, I will be in Medellin for the next 3 months. Then depending on how much money I earn while I am in Medellin, it will determine how long I will stay in Medellin. I can assure you and anyone one the board that money isn't a issue, and now time isn't an issue, so I have the two factors that I needed in order to spend more time in Medellin. With that being said, it does not mean that I will go buckwild and throw parties all over Medellin like I once did.
I hear about guys who know girls who are flown all over the world, but have I ever seen or met these girls? No! Do you know why? There are 2 reasons why, the Guys from the board who do know and see these girls are paying a megaton of money to date these chics and are embarrassed about what they are spending and don't want you and I to judge them, so don't worry, you will always hear about these outrageous stories, but you will more than likely never see them. The second reason that you never see these chics is because they don't exist, its all a made up story. Guys from this board and others create outlandish stories in hopes you'll chime in, but guess what, what another monger eats doesn't make me sh!t. I have learned when to chime in and when not to chime in.
I want to also thank Punkedlife for the information and eye opening experiences to help me realized just how many mistakes I had made in Centro and to really open my eyes and take caution with girls in Parque Botero. Many of you guys have no idea how well informed and structured the girls in Parque Botero are, but after an experiment, I will be limiting my dates with chics in the park. Trust me, I and many others have made some huge mistakes and I can only thank God for the chance to say that I have not been robbed or drugged, but I will not give them another chance to get an opportunity to get close enough to rob or drug me. Matter of fact, I may just only do short term hotel dates or ask girls to not bring any bags or items to my Condo, the chances of being robbed or drugged is just to great nowadays.
I will be finishing up my dental work while I am in Medellin this trip, exercising, and attempting to rest as much as possible. I have never stayed in Medellin for 3 months at the time, but I will find something to do for the 90 days that I am there, I may even join a school to see if I can extend my visa. With my newly created job and the success that I have had with the new job, I do not have to depend on anything in Colombia to determine how much money I earn, only a good WiFi connection and I am off and running.
If any BM is in Medellin from mid-March until mid-June and need a tour of Centro or would like a wing man to visit Centro with you, just inbox me and we can set up a date to see Centro together. I can show you where many strip clubs are, but I have no idea where Casa's are because I do not use them, Parque Botero has most of the talent that I need, so I have no desire to be in the strip clubs, Casa's, Gustos, or Poblado. I am strictly a Centro type of guy. I have a Plethora of girls that I can recommend, but if you feel your date has to have lipstick, a wig, high heels shoes, and a new dress on to justify calling her a woman, then Poblado is the place you should look, I only want the girls of Centro. I want to also thank Punkedlife for the information and eye opening experiences to help me realized just how many mistakes I had made in Centro and to really open my eyes and take caution with girls in Parque Botero. Many of you guys have no idea how well informed and structured the girls in Parque Botero are, but after an experiment, I will be limiting my dates with chics in the park. Trust me, I and many others have made some huge mistakes and I can only thank God for the chance to say that I have not been robbed or drugged, but I will not give them another chance to get an opportunity to get close enough to rob or drug me. It was up and down around 4000 COP / $1 for about a month just 4 months ago. TM. Just visit xe.com see the charts. No reason to try and bite his head off. Only issue is posted in wrong topic area.
Most banks have this ability so ask your bank. If you do not have an account at that bank they will of course not help you (non-customer). Some charge fees. Some do not charge fees. There is a minimum amount of course but you will easily beat that. Usually takes a week to receive. I believe the exchange rate is realistic (good).

However, the Covid gravy train has stopped and if Trump gets re-elected and the republicans stay in charge of at least 2 branches the out of control spending is over, but that's not the case in Colombia. Colombia's economy has been severely injured and oil has dropped again, the backbone of the Peso. That being said in MHO, I don't see a strong peso any time soon. I think you'll do better at a bank ATM once in Bogota. You can always use the ATM in the airport to get enough for the taxi and a few days. You may find buying COP now, in the states is not your best bet.

After much debate and even more searching I finally came up with a workable plan to get to Medellin. Finding a place in Indiana where I can get a Covid test Thursday and get results before Sunday was difficult. I finally decided to fly to Miami on Sunday, get tested Monday and fly on to Medellin on Tuesday. Of course after I booked everything, found a place which could test me Thursday and get results Friday, but it requires a 360 mile round trip. That would allow a straight through on Sunday and save some money. Depends on how much the airlines will hit me for.
Plan on staying just on the border of Envigado and Poblado.
I am currently in Medellin until November 9. Then will be in Bogota for a couple of months. PM me if anyone wants to grab a beer somewhere or hit up some casas.
If I don't cancel my plans again, I had a flight two weeks ago that I cancelled, I will be in Medellin from the 4th until the 10th staying at my apartment in Poblado. Not sure of all of my activities as of yet, but might be able to meet up some here for a drink during the day.

They didn't really check when I went to Carulla either. Restaurants and bars are open but supposed to shut at midnight, only got here right before Christmas so not sure if they're sticking to it. Everything supposed to be shut on nye and nyd again.
Bought one way flight to Bogota Jan 21. Will stay for 10 days minimum, will see how it goes.
I'm in Medellin until Jan. 4th.
Though I might go back to Cartagena on the 31st to avoid the curfew here over new years!

My Spirit flight to Medellin was a surprise. The flight was only 40% full in which I was expecting 70%. An even mixture of single or couple men, women, and families. Then the lines going through Immigration. 90% were foreigners and not Colombians. I expected the exact opposite.

If your unlocked cell phone has GSM 850 and 1900 bands it should work in Colombia. A CDMA phone will not work in Colombia. In the US, both Verizon and Sprint use CDMA. An unlocked GGSM quad band phone is a good choice for Colombia and other countries. Dec 29,2014.
