Al, basically she is telling you that she is NOT going to sleep with you. You should move on to the next one. And there are plenty of fish in Vancouver area.
Next time, if girl aked your picture, just tell her that you don't feel comfortable sharing it because of the privacy concern. She should understand.
Even if she comes to your room, there is no guarantee in terms of FS. There are a few rip offs in Vancouver. They are well documented at perb, but often they change names and phone numbers. So you still get hurt from time to time. That's the hiden cost of this hobby.

ALAl, escorts are legal but street solicitation is not legal. It is all a matter of whether or not the negotiations take place in a public place. So the police can not bust in-calls advertising on CL. I have had good succes on the site, especially with AMP's in Richmond.

ALIt is legal for the girls to do outcalls, or basically for massage with "special service". If she comes to your hotel room it is ok to negotiate, but if you do this in public {including in your car} you can be busted if she is undercover. If you are not sure if she is LE, don't discuss anything, just offer to go to your hotel to talk about "things" there. If she is LE she will get out right away, as she can't bust you in a hotel room. If you do pick up from the street, if you take her back to your hotel it becomes legal to talk to her about it. Many of the CL's do "massage" with extras out of an apartment, with 1 or 2 girls working. A "brothel" is illegal, but if she is discreet & neighbors do not complain then there are few problems with working out of an apartment. If you are a US citizen then Google Canadian immigration. It is very easy for a US citizen to immigrate. There are several ways including depositing $8,400 into a Canadian bank and also working as a skilled worker.
I also feel the same way but I am waiting till after the Olympics to insure my trade will still be wanted.
Tried this asian excort from CL who lives on Alberni, d/t. Just walk down E. Cordova from Dunlevy to Hawks. On another note if you are worried about the area you should not be down there. Junkies can smell fear I know I used to be one. I would not be caught around Oppenheimer park or on Powell or Alexander

I went for a walk from Cambie to Main on Hastings and back to Cambie one time on both sides of the street. The only time I figured "Ok I seen enough, I better get out of here now" was when I reached Main and Hastings itself. I'll catch a bus some time and walk along Hastings and just go up and down those streets and not walk along E Cordova. I'll probably only go down there once and have a look.

DT Incall places are rather over priced. Swedish Touch and Spa 540 are not very far from Hyatt Hotel. But if I were you, I would use outcall or visit Fox Den.

Fox Den is about 25 - 30 minutes drive from DT or YVR. I would take Sky Train from DT. From the airport, you can take taxi, but renting a car might be cheaper, depending upon what you want to do after visiting the Den. If you are staying at the hotel near Metrotown, then just take a taxi to Den. If you are staying in DT, you can take Sky Train to DT, so I would just take taxi from YVR.
If you do any activities outside of DT or Metrotown area, you might as well rent a car.
I saw Roxi while she was visiting Van from Vic. You can google Vic2Van and get the agency's informaiton.
They are located in Yaletown. Once you set up an appointment, you call them to confirm about 30 min prior to your appointment. Then they will give you the exact location and code and such.

Despite old posting. If your going to be in Van for more than a day. Id rent a car, despite the last two years SW action not being as good the last two years like the good old days. You can still find as good looks wise as any in call place working the Kingsway most nights for a lot less $. Grew up in this city and still visit a few times per year.
If Kingsway fails to deliver, I'll head to Burnaby and have seen even last Oct a few o.k SW out on old school strolls in that area. Worth a spin through on my way to Surrey. King George, 108th. and the loop in behind usually nets a gem or two. If that does not work, I'll usually cruise south bound King George and give up by 64 ave in Newton. In fact on my in from WA state, I'll cross the truck border and drive through Surrey into Van. For some intel gathering. Surrey is a hit miss place even when I lived in that chit hole 93/4 time frame.
The in call places. You might as well cab to tourist track and pay the big bucks for the same as you'd find on Kingsway for a lot less. I like having a car cause I know were to look when one spot is not active! Id drive to Abbotsford and even Chilliwack before going over priced in call massage parlor route in Vancouver!

If your going for more than a full day. Avoid these places they are overpriced for what they are! Either rent car or if your driving up, cruise the tracks. I like mid (Kingsway). Priceline Plaza hotel on 12th. Its close to all the Van strolls. The best was a few years ago, SW action has been pretty dead the last two years. Maybe why nobody is posting much here anymore.
Kingsway, does net some good girls most nights. $80 to $100 CDN gets FS. Plus $50 or so per night for Hotel. I've given up on low track, just not finding the hot gems. Plus if you do not know Vancouver, getting lost in the east end can be fun! Expect $40 FS on low track.

Boy I'll say the action has moved inside. There is basically nothing out there now. I wish I could have seen what Vancouver was like a few years ago as far as street action, from what I've read on this board it sounds like there were tons of average girls out there. THis hotel is a $20 cab ride from the airport and there is loads of food places around this hotel, mainly asian. Haven't tried Kingdom, but I tried Swan Lake ($50 CDN for 45 mins massage) and it worked just hunky dory. Its Chinese girls and they were ok looking but very good service, which is kinda how it usually goes with Chinese girls in Vancouver (though there are some stunners). This sums up my experience in Vancouver and resources.
Escorts can be found in yellow pages. Prices range from cheap starting at $80 (rarelly found). You can also use Craig's List (CL) to find them. Tried Kingdom, what a disaster.

Just to do something a little different, I decided to pay a visit to British Colombia. I don't visit Canada all that often and the few times I did before it was to visit Montreal (a very nice city). No doubt Canada can't compete with Europe, South America, or Asia in terms of P4P. However, folks here are more laid-back about sins of the flesh than Americans. Continuing my time here in Vancouver, I decided to check out another place called the Great Pharoah in Collingwood (near Metrotown Mall). I saw an advert for in the Georgia Strait. In made my way via skytrain to Joyce metro stop and then walked the remaining distance. It wasn't hard to find. Well you've definitely hit a good cross section of the expensive places. In my experience you get more bang for your $$$ lower down the price scale: you get more and pay less. But most of these better value places are asian and if that's not your thing, then it ain't gonna work for you. But basically get out of the downtown and try Burnaby or Richmond and you'll find some fine looking asian girls, who do pretty much anything for under $200 including massage and full service extras, and you don't have to debate about anything. For me, there's no going back having moved to the asian joints: the quality is just too good. So I'd say give them a go here in Vancouver, if you haven't already. Otherwise hope you enjoy Vancouver.

A good summary. As long as its behind closed doors, the police do less about it (street action they deal with a fair bit (or local johns groups will get your number plate), Massage joints they generally ignore - bar the occassional fit of busting them)
4) Low end spas/Massage joints: these are east of Granville Street (Granville/Broadway) i.e. towards Kingsway and out to Burnaby or south towards and out in Richmond (just stay off some on No.3 Road which seem to be high $$ e.g. Temptations)
There really are a lot of escorts $160-$200, craigslist the most obvious place to search and again stay out of the downtown to get these prices. The downtown stuff aims for the tourists and business travellers, who can be stiffed more $$. You won't get chased out, you won't get some chick trying to avoid giving you the full deal
Beyond Bangkok, at least in the Western world (western Europe and N. America), I know of no other city with so much good looking pussy. If I've missed one, let me know.

In my experience, Outcall is always not up to much as usually the women don't feel safe or they're high priced. Either way they're gone quickly. But I haven't tried it much.

Cecil - nice decor club on the weekends they try to bridge the nightclub/stripclub divide. Nice place, the private dances are no contact air dances.

Usually I get off at Commercial (20 bus) or Renfrew (16 bus) and take those up to and down Hastings until I get to Dunlevy, then I walk down Hastings all the way to Lakewood/Dundas/Triumph/Pandora area. As I walk down I also check out the other streets on the side as well as Clarke up to Grant or Charles Street, after that I might go back and forth a couple times.
If I miss the last skytrain, shortly after 2 am I'll catch the 20 going to Commercial and then catch the N9 back to Lougheed Station. You can catch the N9 at Commercial station at 2:35 am, 3:05 am and 3:35 am. The last skytrain to Lougheed leaves VCC sometime around 1:15 am Monday to Saturday.
And that's my "guide" to hoofing that area lol. If I ever check out Kingsway I'll get the bus routes for the closest skytrain station and stuff.
Personally I don't pick up girls from Gore. Although I'm sure I'm missing out on some gems (a girl named Jessie) it's too close to Main and it's fucked. I'm ok with going to a hotel/someones place east of Dunlevy but nothing west of Dunlevy.

Hmm, the street view thing works for Vancouver now. I can see my apartment from it LOL.
To get the street view just google "Vancouver." Then click the blue "maps" tab at the top left and you'll get a map of Vancouver. In the top right corner of the map is a button that says "satellite." Click that and the areas/streets you can view are in yellow. After that just drag that glowing yellow "man" in the top left and you'll get the view from the street. To view everything you just drag it or click the arrow to move forward.
To get rid of that white information box that takes up half the screen press the button with 2 little arrows in the top right of the white box.
Now people can see where a building is or whatever before they go there. Instead of saying "it's the 3rd building in between the 2 other buildings on the left, " you can just see where it is exactly.

Downtown strip clubs will be more conservative and expensive (same for massage parlours, escorts, etc). Platinum and Broadway Body Care are at the high end of the price range in Vancouver and not necessarily any better. You usually get more attitude and price gouging downtown. Get a bit out of the downtown and it gets better e.g. Broadway, going east from Granville. When I lived downtown my regular places were 2000-2003 Mystique 1040 8th Ave West, and then 2003-2006 (can't recall the name, might have been Golden Moon but not sure that is still the name) at 610 8th Ave West (use to have a good mgr - Chinese guy, but English OK). Both were consistently good (attractive girls and usually 2 times or one and a BJ or HJ) and under $200. The other strategy that sees to work around here, from Craigslist http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/ers/, is to go bargain basement. This is 100-120, is outside the downtown core and will generally get you (generally) a Chinese girl who speaks little English and who probably won't be like her picture on Craigslist. You'll probably get a shower, which she may or may not join you in and you'll get a massage, some sort of a BJ (often uncovered) and a pop inside her. Massage can range from poor to OK, BJ from poor to Ok and attractiveness of girl from poor to OK. And generally once you pop its over, though if you deal with that upfront you can ask for a massage and you'll usually get it. I appreciate that this strategy sets expectations low. High end, expensive local girl not shy about advertising. So although we have no shortage of girls in Vancouver we seem to have an influx for the Olympics. The other reality is that for a few years many who live here have seen these Olympics as a chance to make money, so hotels rooms are 2-3 times there normal rates at present. We've also had a flood of girls into the city, hoping to cash in. What has happened though, probably because of the recession, is that there is way less visitors than expected. What this means for visitors is that there is no need to pay the inflated prices some girls are asking because there is lots of good reasonably priced girls out there. We tax booze high here and a strong Canadian dollar makes everything else expensive at present. But anyway, down to girls.
On Craigslist you can score a massage and a screw for 100-120 CAD at the low end up to 200 CAD. The later will get you the same at a massage parlour (out of the downtown core). Street prices, as this board shows, start at 40 - a blow job I think. Anyway, I haven't tried the street in years, so go by what is here on the board for the street scene. But just remember soliciting on the street is illegal here. Over 200 CAD an hour (all in) and you're drifting into the high end around here. 300 CAD an hour or more and you are in definitely in high end territory. A lot of girls around here (and the visiting ones in particular) are trying to get 300 + CAD an hour at present, particularly in the downtown core, for the Olympics. If you're happy paying this much, then fine. But my point is there are lots of cheaper ones out there, that are likely just as enjoyable. In my experience the sweet spot is 180-200 CAD all in. Comparing to big US cities I've gone hunting in, you get better quality girls here at a cheaper price than you would in the US (mainly as we have a large immigrant asian girl population). NMI've seen Classy Angel a few years ago when she was in Surrey. She recently moved to downtown Vancouver and has an incall in the downtown core.
I agree her pictures are designed to show her in the best light. The problem with having such professional photos is that it raises your expectations and can lead to a bit of a disappointment when you actually meet her and see she's "only" a very attractive lady. I sensed she was a bit jaded with the business when I saw her, and perhaps this explains why some people have commented on having somewhat mechanical sessions. There was LE presence all over, mostly in the form of patrol cruisers parked near the torch route.

Guys, you're not holding up your end there... no reports? C'mon.
I've been up twice since the Olympics for a weekend each time, approximately March 15 and April 7. Both times it's been noticeably quieter on the streets, and it actually seemed worse this last weekend. I asked some of the girls I know and they said that LE hassled and arrested so many girls and johns just before the Olympics that it drove a lot of girls off the streets or into treatment. Seemed to be true. I'm sure it will eventually return to normal but for now, expect only 10 or so girls to be out at any time, and very few diamonds in the rough.

I cut down by Hastings area via Powell on my way home from downtown to highway 1. During the Olympics this route was awesome because other drivers avoided going anywhere near an Olympic venue! During didn't see much out. Last few weeks seen several but not good quality and I'm usually going around the area about 6 to 7 pm. SW seems to be better late night few hours until and after bars close. LE if they care after Olympics are busy baby sitting drunks around clubs, etcetera. Businesses are closed including normal restaurants, etcetera. So less likely to care about street walkers and complain to authorities. Maybe late night better.
For less expensive though I don't bother with Hastings. Rather do Surrey, Abbotsford and sometimes Chilliwack. The latter two are more spring and summer places. I have not discovered other small town hastings like SW with less harsh street life mileage (like Langley or Cloverdale)!

Well, on Thursday and Friday night I went and looked around.

I'll second the Vancouver has been a fairly easy to get laid for free city. Grew up here. Was living in the states and visiting.
