While I am very aware that a major advertiser has created a very successful business here with some very loyal and satisfied customers, I just don't understand why any experienced mongerer in Bangkok would pay the prices asked by the bars on Soi 33.

2, 000. 3, 000 baht bar fines are ridiculous. And from what I've seen the women are only thammadda (ordinary looking) despite the dresses and make up. I know there are some beauties. But you can land a smoking hot babe from almost any of the big go-go's for less. The average bar fine in LOS is 500. 700 baht + plus 1, 000. 1, 500 for the girl.

Also given the fact you can now have ST BBBJ and FS for as little as 700 baht on premises in two well-known Suk area establishments, and two other (less good IMHO) places at Patpong, I simply don't get this Soi 33 thing. Is it for newbiews to Bangkok or maybe older Americans who don't travel overseas very often and feel more comfortable in a 'tour' like environment?

I'm not flaming. If you can enlighten me please do! I'm always willing to learn about new places!

Sorry I didn't get a full figure shot. It is special.
Mrs G said this girl (model) looked far too classy to be with Mick.
Giotto was surprised too.

Some time ago a well known bargirl in these parts (not my last mentioned dinner guest) asked me to bring back something special for her on my next Thailand trip and gave detailed specs.

Last night she performed very well and received her present which she tried out immediately.

It serves me right. This morning she says she has no power. Why? Because the previous might she had countless continuous pops from something better than a man and now claimed total exhaustion.
To see her face with mouth stuck open very wide in like a continous scream for extended periods was weird.

I have been replaced by a toy :(

[QUOTE=RonnieMonger]...I simply don't get this Soi 33 thing. Is it for newbiews to Bangkok or maybe older Americans who don't travel overseas very often and feel more comfortable in a 'tour' like environment?[QUOTE]

If you "simply don't get this Soi 33 thing", then, you probably "don't get" the differences between Coach and Business/First Class, fine dining and fast food, catered buffet and food-court plates, 5-star deluxe hotel and budget motel, limousine and taxi, Rolex/Omega and Casio/Timex, tailored Armani and off-the-rack blazer, custom jewelry and factory trinkets, etc... Nevermind...

Oh, BTW, Soi 33 environment is not a 'tourist' place. It is more for local expats and businessmen, who want a relaxed atmosphere to take away their tension and stress of working in Thailand, while enjoying the company of lovely ladies (albeit with heavy make-up and flashy dresses). Most guys there wouldn't take them home, since they already have wives/GF's/Giks. And, if they want a quickie, plenty of oily's down the road. And, if they have nice company, there are plenty of decent restaurants on that street, including Livingstone's Lodge. The street has a different crowd daytime.

FYI, tourists are in Khao San, Silom, lower Suk, or waterfront hotels...

The scene is New Year's Eve party at the Lodge.
I have already had two pops today, and so am planning to just get drunk only and sleep alone after the party.
For me alcohol and sex don't go well together.

I go in the bar and Mrs G promptly introduces me to two "new" girls who are just trying out, Miss N and S. Normally, I would just pick up the names and move on. But after I sit down with my friend, I realize that these girls are great looking and won't last long, even though Miss N doesn't speak English at all. They are from Khorat and Surin respectively which is no surprise.

So fast action is called for and I should really make them welcome. I call them both over for a drink. After a while my friend starts interacting with Miss S as she speaks English and I must have Miss N (poor me). Many guys are fairly obviously wishing they were in my shoes.

After a few tequilas the girls are opening up and Miss S is playing up with my friend sufficiently to indicate she is very horny. Turns out Miss S has some P4P experience but supposedly Miss N has none at all. She gets lots of guys after her but usually knocks them back as they cannot speak Thai.

Miss N claims to have no boyfriend as likes freedom to party with the girls.

Eventually we agreed, I thought, that she would come back to my room for the night and leave in the morning.

Could be I was picked due to being well known as a "jai dee" (generous guy).

Turns out the girls wanted to have a quick sex session and leave early. So although I got sex, I am feeling a bit duped. She wasn't at all experienced or talented in the bed except for having a good body. She made it very very quickly, and wanting me to be rather quick too (but hey alcohol).

I think the girls just need some money to go to Khorat for new year. Will they ever be back to the Lodge? Lets hope so. But Miss N was only with her friend and doesn't really intend to work here.

Miss N gives me her phone number and says to keep in contact as she will be just for me. Yeh Yeh, sure thing!

I won't include a pic until its clear she doesn't come back to work here.

Like I said, I wasn't flaming, I was asking someone to explain the value of the place in comparison to the other sois. Your attempt to claim that Soi 33's Renoir, Rembrandt, Picasso or whatever. Are that special cut above the rest just doesn't wash with me. The girls are often as fat and plain as the Soi 7 places. But they're just wearing fancy dresses to cover their tattoos.

Also, remember that most 'luxury' goods are 90% packaging and marketing hype and 10% product. But you are right about the makeup of many of those girls, you'd need a chissel to get most of it off.

Oh, BTW, Soi 33 environment is not a 'tourist' place. So you're saying the big barfines are meant to discourage take-outs rather than profit from them? I guess that makes sense then.

I thought so too, but hey...

Miss S didn't feed me too much bullshit while in the bar, was generally fun and really seemed to be horniiiii. Which actually worried me a bit because I prefer sleep to sex after tequila and at 2.30 in the morning. So, definitely LT was called for here and agreed upon (or so I thought).

She hopped into bed the moment we got into the room. No tits at all, nice butt. After some pumping she mentioned that she would leave soon to party with "friends". Well, then, that's a coitus interruptus right there and bye bye baby.

We of course both "think" that we had agreed on LT, but maybe we were not specific enough. If not outright scammed, we were definitely tricked. Not a sanuk ending to an otherwise lovely party.

Anyway... happy New Year ;)

I would say Soi 33 offers a better opportunity at finding good companionship rather than sex. Not having to compete with cruder, less savory sorts of mongers who congregate at the lower Soi's is a plus. Quality of service tends to be better. Girls tend to have better conversation skills as their livelihood depends more on the ability to communicate, rather than shaking bodily assets. A monger staying at the same place where a girl works is much less likely to be robbed outright (Note: Good negotiation skills is still required). Wherever you hunt, it is still a gamble. Doing it on Soi 33 just hedges your bet a little if you are looking for good company and not too concerned about cost.

That's just my view. Other mongers may have other reasons.

Cheers and Happy New Year,

F2

...
RonnieMonger,

Bar fines on that level are the exception even in Soi 33. There are some bars (as I know Renoir) trying to charge this barfines (for models, mamasans) - but I don't think they are very successful with this business model. The usual barfine is a round THB 1,500.00, and as I see it at the moment the prices are falling.

Traditionally Soi 33 is and expat road - tourists usually visit Patpong, Soi Nana and Soi Cowboy. Most of the bars are hostess bars here, you can sit with a girl, buy her a drink and she then stays with, talking, dancing - you have some company. You try the same in Soi Nana, and you will find out that the girl disapperas after a short while to dance at the pole, not even sure that she returns.

The business model is completely different - some customers like it, others don't. Depends on your individual taste.

I always give the following recommendation to my customers: If you want to be the main actor in a porn movie go to Eden Club, if you want exceptional/special sex go to a massage parlour (e.g. Tulip), if you want to have a perfect body go to a meat market and select one (Gogo bars, Nana, Cowboy), and if you are looking for company / GFE check out the bars in Soi 33.

I decided to go to ChiangMai for 4 days for various reasons after a nice stay at the lodge including New Year celebrations.

Sent a New Year message to my old favourite soapy girl who had moved to ChiangMai, working Big C, and indicated that I was arriving in town.

She soon phoned me. I asked if there was any chance of a meeting despite her having a BF.

She asked "Why didn't you phone before? I am now back in BKK, same soapy as before"

So I have missed out seeing her several days purely because I didn't phone and didn't go to that Soapy. Silly man. Should have phoned every girl on day one to see how the land lies.

Silly man. Should have phoned every girl on day one to see how the land lies.

I am very disappointed to hear this, thought you of all people knew the drill. While my plane was rolling to the gate upon landing I was doing my SMS and phone calls, even talked to YOU !!! I had my situation in hand and organized before getting my luggage. So atleast I hope the caves were worth it for you and look forward to hooking up when you return.

Anyways... Got into town, very dead due to the holiday but met up with some ISG members at the Lodge for a meal and talked to the bestard Giotto a while. Enjoyed the evening with the TGF and for some reason, be holiday stress or the financial melt down but was full of power all night long.

The next day was able to get in a quick "Guitar" lesson :) :) If I would have read the board sooner I would have called you up for your girls number to keep her company while you were away :)

But anyways after my guitar lesson I had a relaxing session with the TGF and it quickly reminded me why she's the TGF... And now am sitting at the bus stop with the TGF and her ladyboy cousin as we are the last arrivals to the family holiday party this weekend. A couple of bottles of Black Label in my bag and I don't even drink, should be a typical rocking time around the rice paddy and the TGF wants to take me to temple again and for some reason the entire family is waiting my return... For some damn reason I think I'm married :)

Will get back into BKK in two or so days and hope to catch up with the rest of the gang as we seem to be spread out during the holiday still.

Well if you talked to me too, then could not have had too many girls to deal with.

I would have had to make well over a dozen calls as rather than Big Butterfly, Auntie G has dubbed me the Sikhorsky (helicopter) as he seems to see me with a different girl each day, sometimes two, and that doesn't even count the soapy girls.

After meating my long lost Soapy favourite girl I came back to the lodge in the absolute best of moods.

Nice to meet up with Tansak and his girl after not having seen them for so long.

Played doubles pool partnering Miss Stardust and only got beaten by a narrow margin, so both of us are improving a lot.

A couple of Sports bar girls really appeal to me but didn't try yet as too many Gik appointments.

Miss Siamese Pussy (not at the Lodge) is just about struck off my list now as has been too lazy lately to justify assigning her a night in my bed. Too many other alternatives.

It is always enjoyable to swap some stories unfortunately the TGF english is too good to talk too much anymore. Being in the dog house before it took a trip up country and a visit to the temple just to get out of the dog house...

Still trying to figure out if I'm married or not now... So I couldn't risk having my favorite part being cut off (as according to G it will happen soon) by talking too much.

Heard from the Old Lady at Pantip that you were going to stop by to see her... Am sitting up at IT city after visiting with her. Maybe will run into you here also. If not Nic might finally meet up for a drink tonight or Friday.

Brought some friends of the better looking variety to dinner at the lodge.

We had Stir Fried Yellow Curry Crab (one of my favourites),

I was so full afterwards that they decided to go shopping without me, LOL. That was lucky.

I'm jealous, I need to get a trip or two planned before the end of March.

Here's one for you and anybody else who wants to contribute - why do so many young Asians do the V (for Victory?) sign in photos? Does it mean anything in particular in Asia?

A totally inconsequential question, I know, but I've always wondered. Better then a single finger sign though.

Even the handsome gay man admired my taste, saying this was a georgous girl. I was just trying to stir up some posts on the thread (among other things). We have had several ISGers staying at the Lodge, but the thread has reamined quiet for days.

Though to be fair, Centaurus has posted in the BKK MPs thread. Now he and his friend has headed off to Pattaya for a several day orgie LOL.
Meanwhile Neufie missed his flight, he claims accidentally. ;)

Thierry has headed of to the bus station to take the overland route to Cambodia via Chantaburi.
Last night I took Thierry to see the Les show at SW for his first time. Being a newbie their, the ugliest girl in the place made a bee-line for him looking for drinks. They can smell a nice guy LOL. Eventually he managed to get rid of her. He wasn't taking a girl as had been severly depleted by a marathon at Tulip with Miss Rose, and was badly in need of rest. I was taking just one girl for a change which surprised everyone.

Tonight I am having a very discreet dinner with "trusted" ISG mongers. It has to be discreet because Flyhere has his "ball and chain" (wife) with him. Also Tansak's GF's English is getting so good that he must use extreme euphemism's to make sure she doesn't understand. e.g "guitar lessons", "business dinners". Giotto's lodge will be a forbidden topic as Flyhere's wife knows nothing. I guess us mongers will just have to discuss Thailand in general. After 5 minutes we might run out of non-mongering topics LOL :D.

11.00 I have an appointment with a famous "Tuk" (ex SOL) to clean out my pipes. She has just come back from Chiangmai sojourn. Strangely we were both in Chinagmai at the same time on 2 Jan but did not bump into her. Too many Thai tourists.

Yesterday the lodge was so busy for dinner that Giotto got kicked off his favourite medium big table and was relegated to a small one. Still needed his computer on hand to check the currency trends. Looks like he is getting addicted to currency gamboling. Some sort of substitute activity to stop him thinking about hot women I think. But he still manages to drag himself away for a late afternoon "snooze". Not sure if much real sleeping occurs.

Yesterday at dinner, a few ex Sports Bar girls were see on a return visit to the lodge. Some wacko nut case had tracked them down and barfined the whole lot of them. I just remembered just two of them (Alzheimer's I guess). Perhaps some were from before my time. An imfamous Miss J was not invited as "persona no grata" I guess. Is rumoured to have many sponsors these days.

Rumours that waitress Miss "Full of charm" has a Farang BF, have turned out to be totally false, so if their is any white knight in shining armour out there, she would maje a great wife. I would be keen myself except that I am not totally over my last GF, and also Miss Full of Charm has seen me doing the "helicopter" (as distinct from butterfly) routine for far too long.

Just thinking whether I use the term "Bestard" or "BASTARD" this time ... :), I am obviously watched here in my daily activities, will we get a report now every day? Do you need a video about the activities in my room when I go upstairs for a late afternoon "snooze" ?

Yep, yesterday was surprisingly very busy. I thought it were Friday ... usually Thursdays are very quiet. I hope it stays like this, and business will pick up from now on.

Wacko nut case :) ... LOL.

Miss J is not a "persona non grata", don't worry. All ex girls come here sometimes, and many of them return to work in the Sports Lounge after checking out some other options. It is a permanent process of coming and going ...

Yesterday suddenly the rumour circulated that a celebrity was inside our bar - Jimmy Page! Everybody ran into the bar to check it out. I found a picture in the internet - Jimmy Page is 64 now, and it does not make so much sense to look for the rocker of the 70th. White hair now, 64 years old ...

Don't ask me whether it was him or not. The guy looked similar like the picture I found in the internet, and the Auntie was sure - that's him. I have my doubts... I rejected the immediately upcoming suggestion to play songs from Led Zepellin and check out his reaction. Nahh, even if it was him he has a right to have his private life, too.

Today I expect Mick Jagger for dinner :) ...

Whoa... some of them are not bar fineable as they are actually out of the game now (for now at least). Only three were barfined from other places and brought back for an old timers night... The other four (7 went out to CM2 after dinner and some pool at LL) were FOC except of course their large appetites.

You know having a GF you can't get to know the new stock of girls well so you gotta still play with the ones you knew before. It's hard to go into the sports bar with your tee rak and really get to know other girls, plus they are surely not interested in wasting time with such an old man like me.

And yes we did not invite the Miss J as she is persona no grata in my circle of folks atleast. What is surprising is that two of the girls there last night do not talk to each other but ended up partying hard out on the dance floor at CM2 so I guess you can call the Diplomatic Mission last night a success.

Unfortunately after CM2 things went down hill in a hurry :(

Now he and his friend has headed off to Pattaya for a several day orgie LOL.
Not quite several days... we only set up a mini orgy with 3 girls from Hell (which is Pattaya’s Eden) for Sunday night. We are, however, putting our private pool to good use, the girls appreciate that.

We went to this club the other night, and I got a drive by kiss on the cheek by a lady that was just a little bit too heavy for my taste… but she was also tall and had very full sensual lips, so I eventually asked Miss P. over for a lady’s drink. Fun and cushy girl, but no Engrish… so I decided to leave.

On that announcement from my side, she Stuck Her Tongue Out.

Well, I try not to interfere when a lady manages a direct telepathic communication with little Centaurus … and in this case her tongue was clearly telling my cock to stay put for another lady’s drink. It was the longest tongue that I ever saw outside of porn, and it was pointing at me hard and erect ;)

What a great marketing trick!

Eventually I barfined Miss Dragon Tongue. She was very natural and totally at ease for some nakkid night dive in our pool, had amazing stamina with blowjobs, and was really getting into my vibrator (until the batteries went poof hehe). Heavy birthmarks, but hey. We took another dive and played some pool in the morning and then had another round.

Other than that, Pattaya is everything that Giotto said it would be, and I’ll be back by Monday.

Last night Yok came over and a drink at lodge with Giotto, Nic and me.
We all got to see how she is really lovely girl and that her English skills are quite good. Unbelievably, Nic had never met her.
And Giotto had only met her briefly on a previous visit to the lodge.

She explained some of the finer details about foot massage, aroma massage, and other variations based on her previous Spa experience, before we got too sleepy and needed to retire ;)

Today I probably need a good rest period.

Wasn't intending to take any girl to bed but a sweet tiny petite thing from the Sports bar had other ideas right at the end of the evening, and some energies had returned to me.

Miss "Dead Ringer" is pretty and quite lively. Would probably be called a "spinner" at 37 kg. She played pool with me but always struggled with being small.

Seems that she is not exactly normal Thai. Her people come from the mountains of north western Thailand. Normally I don't risk girls that seem too tiny as could have bedroom logistics problems (it might not fit ;)), however she had had a few drinks and seemed quite horny and certainly willing to give it a go.

Had a good time with her and would certainly repeat. Of course she has already been spotted with other customers repeating, so no surprises.

The mamasans are always trying to get me to take the plainest girl in the bar as she doesn't get customers, but I have to think of my image, and she doesn't really appeal to me at all. I try to stay away from mamasans as what they thinking and what I want are usually completely different.
Even the mamasan who has gone was always trying to line me up with girls not classy enough to interest me, as possibly they were the most horny girls.

Some guys like one of the mamasans because she has big ones that are difficult to believe (D cups?)

Late Saturday afternoon, I stopped by my favorite Silom Road massage shop, "Happy Massage,"

Your report piqued my curiousity so I went down there .. only one girl posted as lookout so I took her .. Cheeky eyes, cute body .. I asked if I should take 1 hour 450 or 2 hour 800, and she said one hour. After not long in the room she wanted me to tell her a price so I offered 1000 which she accepted without hesitation. She likes chatting .. she told me of an Isaan live music place nearby and suggested we go there. After completing the massage she wanted to turn off all the lights, but agreed to dim light. I really didn't take too long, but she was rushing me along a bit. Not too bad, but for that price you can get a leisurely 2 shots at the humbler Petchaburi MPs if you're lucky and you choose well ..

It was fun coming down walking out past old ladies with orange hair getting foot massages ..

Well, I have so many Girls on my special list, I don't have time to take on charity cases. Some girls, less than consistent perfect performance, have already been struck off the list.

The girls have to be either goergous or very talented, and if both, even better.

Tonight, the return of a girl, not georgous, but with super powers, including deap throat.

It's a bit weird [:)]with the Junior Suites - this are either very spacious rooms with balcony etc. or Double-Jacuzzi rooms. We usually ask during the reservation process what you prefer.

The Deluxe Rooms have a standard bathroom with a shower.

Thanks, but not true. My knowledge is limited to certain areas.
I have a lot of Soapies experience and speak Thai. Everything else is limited knowledge. I know nothing about G clubs except where some of them are located.

Had a very quiet day on Monday, after breakfast, due to an arrangement falling through. So made up for lost time on Tuesday with a Tulip visit at 3PM.

Miss Yok is still bookable, but had to wait for a prior booking to finish. Miss Yok says publicity is O.K. as she still has reached customer saturation. These are quiet times.

Being fairly drained, I decided a supergirl was all that would do for the evening so a famous nympho and deap-throat artist came to dinner and stayed the night. Sleep only from 2.30 to 8 so will need a catch up today.

Sex before breakfast, but she insisted on yet another round after breakfast. Sex Maniac :p

Now I don't dare go to a Soapy until many hours of strength rebuilding have occurred. :(

I finally made it to Livingstones tonight only to realize that I have been there before with a friend a trip or two ago. I really like the place. I regret not staying at their hotel. It's kind of like an Oasis in the middle of LOS. I didn't eat the food, but it smelled great.

There was a mamasan there that could really shoot pool. She was kind of hot too, but I wasn't sure if she was available or not and didn't want to embarrass myself. Probably not though.

I plucked up a 22 year old who started working there about 5 months ago. I could barely understand her name. Great face. Strong 8 if not 9. Body was tiny, but looked pretty good.

I paid the steep barfine, 1500 baht and took her for LT. What a waste of time. All she wanted to do was watch TV. She was very shy, only wanted to do missionary, and didn't want me to see her naked. She gave a great BBBJ for the 30 seconds she would do it. Basically, she was just awful in bed. Too bad, because she is really cute.

I understand being discrete when in company of guys and their wives etc. and keeping certain info secret. But now my buddy Centaurus wants me to be more discrete on the forum than before.

We are intending to have dinner with two star lovely girl best-friends tonight with follow-on activities (separate rooms ;)), but he doesn't want me to say who the girls are. Several experienced guys on the forum in fact are advising to keep the fine details out for fear of copy-cat mongers trying to out-do us.

Maybe some very smart experienced mongers can almost guess it, but I am not going to confirm.

Why would anyone be interested in that topic again it's been beaten to death a million times. It's all personal choice anyways. If you really want it let me know and I'll post it someplace but it's like beating a dead horse.

FWIW, If I had a choice I would monger in LOS over PI (Philippines for those who don't know the abbreviation), so that's the reason for me taking the flights from MNL to BKK. However there is nothing wrong with mongering in PI. There is a lot wrong with Manila, but get outside that and to some other places and it is an OK country.

One night, two girls C & Y, best of friends, came to each dinner at the lodge.
The playful monkey, and the sleeping tiger.
The little one is playful, lively and 'kiku anone' (looking slightly Japanese) and the tall one is more quiet and refined (at dinner) but speaks good English.

Sorry, no pic of the hansome spunky guys at the table ;) but i know you would rather look at the ladies.

Later went to Mojos to look at Coyote and dance a bit. The band was quite good was far too loud to be able to talk but no matter. Had a good time once the very old music started, like U2, Pink Floyd, etc.

I really liked one of the Coyote dancers with a sexy style and strange pouting mouth. My friend liked one of the more plain looking girls claiming she danced better.
But our dinner guests kept us well entertained and distracted us from actually meeting the Coyote girls.

The craziest dancer in the place would have to be me.

Well the trip has finally come and now my long journey has ended with what is turning out to be a really great experience.

Livingstones is a really great place for the first time experience in the LOS, and that is why so many guests from ISG come back again and again. I have met some really great people here, (you know who you are), and that has made my experience all the more special.

I booked a Superior room and I have no real complaints. The room is perfect for my needs, great bed, good aircon, great shower with all the hot water I could ever use. I was somewhat concerned before my trip that booking the lowest level of room would create problems with both my expectations and the room situation due to the fact the pictures of the rooms on the Livingstones website had no headline so I was not sure which picture was of what room. No worries, everything was just fine.

The staff here are first rate, good good people, and the food is excellent. I just love those extended breakfast hours.

There are two things I did notice, one the wireless internet seems to have a few limitations with dead spots. That happens in most wireless situations and can be fixed by sitting at the lobby bar or around the pool or with a hotel provided USB cable.

Another is the construction that is going on all around the Hotel, but that is Bangkok I guess. The first morning they started work early and I though it was 5am, but it was more like 7 or 8am. Blame that on the jetlag, which takes a larger toll on a person then I expected.

I am off to Cebu on Monday but I will be looking forward to my return visit to Livingstones in a few weeks.

Yeah, put your garter belt and high heels on, and Mojo's would probably hire you.

But I think I still prefer my favorite coyote dancer from Mojo's, she is not the best looker there but she knows how to shake it yessir! I wonder how many nights of sweetmouthing it would need... or if a sufficiently high number of orange bills would convince the coyotes.

I often take a girl for a late drink to Mojo's because it's so convenient to just stumble over the street into the Lodge afterwards. But the music is getting boring.

C was not totally at ease when we went in, though, much less than Yok. She needed a few drinks to start dancing. Not really typical for a little monkey... usually it's the tiger that takes longer to awaken ;)

Hi everybody,

I just would like to share my arrival in Bangkok.

I booked in LL because of all the good reports on it, so I booked a superior room for a week.

Everything was done by mail. I arrived on the 25 around 1am, so I took a cab to the LL. When I get in the cab, the driver ask me 500 bath, I told him to put the meter on, He sounds at that moment unsatisfied.

Arrived at the LL, the meter was indicated 278 baths, so I gave him 400 and he was quite happy with it.

Arrived in the lobby, I was greeted by the concierge and some nice people. They say that they were waiting for me and offer me a soda (thanks god, because I was so thirsty).

The room is nice, but cannot go on intrnet by wireless, so I asked them to lend me a cable and now everything is ok.

Been on th streets to see how it looks like and it seems that Bangkok looks like almost every big cities in Asia like Shanghai or Tokyo.

The SOI 33 streets was very busy, a lot of bars, food on the streets etc.

3am back in y bedroom, tried to sleep but cannot. Why? Because the guy from the room next to mine put the volume of his f. TV very high. But after a while I finally succeed to sleep.

Woke up late, took a shower, and took a cab to go to chinatown. It was very very busy, especially because Chinese new year is coming. All the owner of the differents shops was having lunch with their family, I also spotted some policemen came to pick up their red pockets.

Now I got back to the hotel to rest a little because the jet lag is killing me ha ha.

I hope this first report wasn't too boring and sorry for my bad english.

Train station is 1 block only, per giottos easy instructions I was taking trains, lodge itself has food, drinks, I free wifi, and plenty of cordial staff to help you, most importantly you do feel at home, room rates are very reasonable for the area, rooms are clean, I recommend this place, I will be back again.

Not in Bangkok, unfortunately :(Gentlemen,

Last october I was in the Scirocco Restaurant (rooftop floor of Lebua hotel, State Tower, same venue as the Sky Bar) and the food was absolutely fabulous. The meal I had there is currently in my top 2, only better meal I ever had was in a Michelin 3 star restaurant in Brussels.

It isn't cheap though, 17000 bath for two - but worth every single satang of it.

Highly recommended if you want to impress someone, success is guaranteed (in my case: I was there with wife, later during the stay we went to Annies Soapy, and she paid for it, she paid so I could spend time with two thai hotties)

Highly recommended if you want to impress someone, success is guaranteed

I went to Scirrocco 3 times and was disappointed all 3 times. First, getting up there is a little confusing adn not a lot of Staff around to welcome you properly.

The menu is not only overly creative, but lacks all the basics of "haute Cuisine". Prices are high but as far as I am concerned, I don't care, I expect them to be high. Having said that, for the high price I expect high Culinary standards.

Service is Slow, and waiters are very "thai" (the expats will know what I mean). Talking in the corner, not paying attention to the customers: I had to ask them to refill my glass of wine more than once.

Also, no idea how to serve white wine... a chilled wine is always served 1/3 of the glass (enough for 2 good sips), never more otherwise it is no longer at the right "chilled" temperature.

Food was very disappointing. What I had in my plate was well presented but when the food hit my palate, I could not remember what I was eating. The flavors were all mixed up. Very difficult to distinguish between one ingredient and the next.

Desserts were on par with Expectations but no "wow" factor.

Would I go there again? never. There are far better restaurants in Bangkok.

...Fredje1961,

I was in Scirocco somewhen last year, and I wrote a report or a story about it.

It is a complete rip-off, in my POV. The lack of service and friendliness of staff not even taken into account, the quality of the food can by far not keep up with the prices they demand for it. They just sell their great location and view via their dinner prices, that's all.

I will go to State Tower again, to have a drink and look around. But Scirocco will never see me again.

Hi everybody...Arrived at the LL, the meter was indicated 278 baths, so I gave him 400 and he was quite happy with it...3am back in y bedroom, tried to sleep but cannot. Why? Because the guy from the room next to mine put the volume of his f. TV very high. But after a while I finally succeed to sleep....Now I got back to the hotel to rest a little because the jet lag is killing me ha ha....FelloussThe first time to Bangkok is always the most confusing...and exhilarating! You've landed in a good location. A couple of suggestions:

>> Don't tip the taxi drivers so much. Just round up to the next 10 baht or so.

>> Buy some earplugs at Boots or somewhere -- no more hotel noise.

>> Ask Giotto where Sazanka is and go get a scrub massage. It works wonders for jet lag. Better yet, follow up a Sanzanka massage with a visit to Khun Rin at Hana's for a special gel massage. You'll sleep like a baby.

>> Buy a BTS Skytrain pass (100 baht) to get around at rush hour when the traffic is bad. The pass saves time buying tickets. It's worth it just to see all the beautiful women!

>> Take a river ferry boat on the Chao Praya river. One of the best ways to see a lot for almost nothing. Don't buy the tourist pass.

>> Ask around and find some good street food...

I second the motion of creating a food thread. I'm a chef and I've been lurking for a long time on this board. I'm making my first trip ever to SE Asia in just a couple of days, and would LOVE to know where to find the best authentic food, whether it be street vendors or actual restaurants. All of the other information is well covered, if, as it is said, you RTFF.

Unfortunately, I'm not staying at LL. I'll be camped out at Sacha's. Maybe I'll see some of you around town though. I'll be the guy looking around with the bubble over my head saying, "Am I really here? Is all of this really going on? "

Yes, indeed but then again, Food taste is very different from one Palate to the next. What I love isn't necessarily what the next guy will fancy.

I think Food is even more complicated tha women :D

Besides, I wouldn't be able to get advice from someone who talks about gourmet one day and then says Mac Donald's is good.

What I think is important is wether the "Experience" (food, service, decor) matches (or even exceeds) your expectations. High prices adn Michelin Starts don't mean shit adn certainly don't mean it is good.

I would much prefer an unpretentious restaurant which would WOW me everytime with it's excellent cuisine.

Also, the biggest mistake Restaurants make is that they can't cook the same dish twice the same way, depending which cook cooks it. A good restaurant should cook your food the same way Everytime, no matter what the time or who cooks it.

Sorry Frenchy, but there is no perfect way to enjoy white wine!

If it is getting warm in the glass, then by GOD you better well down it.

If it is nice and cool and looking like it can stay that way, then you should swirl it around in an exilerating fashion, before you take the next drink.

Give me a break! I must label the man that can not enjoy a nice white wine while in Thailand as pretentious.

But hey . . . don't worry too much, that's just me. :)

If you want to enjoy a glass of white wine, or anything else that your palet can identify (beer, good food, hot girls, or a comfortable bed), then you really should quit your high-faluting-bickering and just head over to Livington's Lodge (Giotto's Place).

Believe me (I've stayed everywhere from the Grand Hyatt to Hotel 27 on Soi 22), you can't find a better place than Livingston's Lodge. And yes . . .

Truthfully speaking, Thai Cuisine isn't that refined. There are some great dishes, but far from being as refined as Vietnamese food for example.

i feel like picking on you.

you say thai food is not refined. i want to know why you would say that.

thai food relies on four main ingredients: sugar, lemon, hot peppers, and salt (or fish sauce).

The best chefs from New Orleans ponder that all delicious food is made from sugar, fat, and dough.

The thais got new orleans beat by 1 ingredient, and that is supposing that the thais don't like fat, which is an untrue statement, believe me, the thais eat fat like a lion in africa.

They go straight for the intestines and the gut!

but wait, i am getting a bit ahead of myself, because i must ask you:

what makes Vietnamese food so refined?

I have heard that Thai cuisine is really good at not only bringing the heat in the spices, but also they're good at layering flavors in the heat too and balancing them all out. It all sounds fantastic to me, because the thai food we get here in the States ain't all that impressive. I'm just looking to get a better understanding of the flavors and the techniques. The refinement I can do back here.

Unfortunately I booked through agoda, and it's a done deal. And besides, when I looked on agoda, LL had no availability. I'm swinging back through on my way out of SE Asia at the end of March, maybe I'll check it out then. It all depends on how low on cash I am.

As far as white wine goes, on a hot day 90% of the time I'm all about the crisp cold beer, but on the other 10% of the time a really nice light white wine does hit the spot. I think the thing that beer has on wine is that crappy beer can only get so crappy, but awful wine can curdle your stomach.

Whether you agree or disagree with him, everyone should pray Obama succeeds - this is serious stuff and if the american economy goes to the dump, the world will follow. Just look at Iceland and the fall of the English pound as two very 'bad' examples.

People are being laid off left and right at home. My son was laid off by Morgan Stanley back in Jan 08, got another job after 6 months search. Now his new company just lost 20% of their contracts/business, and he might be back on the streets looking for the third time.

Here's one for you and anybody else who wants to contribute - why do so many young Asians do the V (for Victory?) sign in photos? Does it mean anything in particular in Asia?

If you look carefully it's usually more horizontal rather than the vertical 'V'. It's meant to look cute I think - originally a Japanese 'kawaii' thing that's spread around the region.

Seems that it became popular in Japan first, but no one quite knows the origin. Some say it was first used by the Americans forces occupying Japan after WWII; others claim it's due to the fact that the Japanese equivalent to "saying cheese" in photographs is asking "one and one equals ...?" (the answer - "ni" - gives a seemingly smiling face), and then people started giving the answer with their fingers, too.

Wikipedia has more on the V-sign's popularization in the 1970s/1980s: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V_sign#Japan_and_the_V_sign_in_Photographs

Its become such a trend in Asia that the kids are just copying others and don't even know why they do it exactly.

So all meaning has gone. An asian person could look at photos and not even notice all the people doing the V.

Thai kids do like to make rabbit's ears behind someone's head for a joke too.

Another sign used by Thai kids in photos involves the thumb and forefinger both sticking out with back of hand facing the camera, maybe under the chin, like in the shape of a gun. Thai people call this sign "Gek Lor" I believe. I but I don't really understand it. Maybe just a variation on the V.

On a tangent.
When I first came to Thailand I noticed all those people sticking patchy white powder on there cheeks and forehead, like flour was stuck there with water, and thought it looked very strange. Maybe there to keep cool?
When asking Thais about it, its like they just don't notice people have white powder stuck on the face. Its just so normal to them.

Well, that's an easy one, brother. You can take "D2", (yes, they have the same name), and I will take the TGF. Always fancied a Indo / Thai sandwich.

Well you know I've tasted the sandwich a few times but never your recipe. Your creation of an Indo / Thai sandwich sounds so good it should be posted in the restaurant section... :)

And knowing them... they would kick the crap out of me and you if they knew we were even envisioning them like this...

Duni, I have tentative plans to be there next week, with 2 hot 30 year old Balinese girls, who loves to wear short skirts, and go out drinking on soi cowboy. I could use a wingman.

i'm a newbie, rookie, novice and everything else that goes with the theme of. 'i don't know what the heck i'm talking about', but feel like sharing for whatever reason. mostly it just feels good to write after reading so much.

why not offer a massage service at ll that is just as wonderful as the others?

(and since i'm finally for the first time 'blogging here').

i guess, i would like to also say, that my stay at ll was tremendous last summer. even with reading the threads for hours, i still did not have a clue as what to do first, last or at all-no offense to any bloggers-thailand is just complicated in 3-d vs on isg. my first trip to thailand was such a thrill, because it was a first. i don't know that i actually want to know too much. not knowing, in a land of big hits and big misses just challenged my intellect (that was always battling against my raging libido). this, for me, was pure fun and you only got what you were brave or charming enough to receive. even when the opportunities are dangling right before you (they do come with quite a bit of wisdom, decision making, money and, . when it's your first trip. rattling nerves that ultimately are made up in your head, but loads of fun to conquer. almost as good as the 5 minute sex).

to be so so experienced. always ascertaining the sure thing. is promising, but the hunter/traveller in me found that not knowing a thing was like jumping off a cliff and not knowing if the chute would open at times. oh, yes, i failed miserably and had many days/nights walking and walking and finding nothing or discovering i was either too shy, apprehensive, uneducated or buzzed to create the sexual paradise i had in my mind the previous morning. but that made the next day that much more alluring. each day was like bungy jumping again with less fear (again i'm a novice and soon won't be. booo hooo, i think i'll miss this high school feeling ultimately). it was like traveling foreplay at it's finest, scuba diving being a long second!

staying at ll, i can say i felt at ease which is hugely important to getting the brain ready for the chase throughout the city stomps (unlike mexico, where i felt nervous every minute in any city.) i never barfined an ll lady and regret it, but i think that's a typical newbie mistake. what lies outside is always drumming in your mind. so you go out and hit or miss. but the ll staff, acceptance, conversation to put you at ease was an excellent push in understanding that it's okay to be liberal here and chase your fantasies. not the case in many parts of the world (that are actually more 'free' in other respects). how i'd like to comment more about this!

nevertheless, tulips was my last day in bk and it really condensed all the other missed liason experiences into one. in a very short, however enjoyable time. i hit [CodeWord900] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord900), nervous as hell and then sort of let down as if that's it? . the cowboy street was thrilling, then confusing and if you wait too long, your just trying to keep your buzz going as all the lookers are history. made that mistake too many times. then in a drunken haze walking back to ll, the soi 33 captures your last impulses and sure enough your with one of those ladies not caring a bit about the price. the fancy dressed do entice at that late of an hour!

and if luck is on your side, they can be quite stunning and fun. one took me on a tour the next day, but was always hinting at buying this gift for her or that which was a turn off, but i had the western mind on and was still developing the thai mind. overall, my second night lass was wonderful to me and opened up the mental floodgates of what is possible. yes, i tipped her appropriately and yes, what mistakes i made in my expectations or lack there off will be corrected on the next trip. but the first trip, while full of mistakes and apprehension will always be cherished like that first erotic encounter you always wanted and pretended you were confident enough for. until the present moment set in, all the way around the world, alone, and only with your instincts to go on, thrilling to most! suffering to many other, i would guess?

i thought my first trip would be sex 4 times a day for 3 weeks straight. well it wasn't even quite that. (as bright as i am, i'm still a man) i underestimated the male stress that pertains to 'choosing', committing, evaluating and then moving on tomorrow. strangely, unlike back home, rejection wasn't the brain drainer, it was all the decisions when too much has been presented to you for you to choose from, picky or not! quite a dichotomy of thinking and no thread prepared me for that. nor should i expect it, considering that was the fun part of being a rookie. learning and then being rewarded. (but i was stupidly shocked, when my dick wasn't in a cute girls mouth on some nights! ). perhaps a bit too honest, but i doubt anyone would deny this expectation on any night. even when not travelling.. the little head can be so unrelenting and demanding, dammit!

later, patong was so crazy, my mind was more confused, but managed to spend endless hours romancing the bargirls and developing a rapport before the fun which was thrilling (minus the food poisoining days). the rules were different, almost easier here which presented another learning curve. (bangkok can be so intmidating at first and then to arrive at such a small town with a different outlay burned up a lot of mental time). i'm just guessing it's different in patong and don't mean to be a judge. the free flowing nature of the society there requires different expectations, skills and poise (which alcohol happily takes away. or sometimes adds)? in fact, i'm desperate to redo my travel to patong, having learned to be more direct and how rapport is so much easier to create if you just ask!

while i've spoken too much (and it feels good to write this down-selfishly), i can't wait to return and stay at giotto's lodge again to start another new experience. i barely chatted with the staff, but when i did, i could not have felt more comfortable! the answers were there as well as on this blog, but my mind just has a habit of making things wonderfully difficult, which i enjoy and shun at the same time. even in a thailand/hotels where things can be had for a price, there is still the great mysteries. sex, attention, dominance, prevail, satisfaction. even in a country as liberal as thailand the mystery is there. enough anyway to entice a new visitor, as long as we have a brain that judges from one minute to the next. whoever said that women had a hard time making their mind up. for the first time i did! unlike where i live where you get what you get. hmmmmmm.

maybe the ll massage idea should be scrapped, else i might never see the outside of giotto's lodge again, but hey, the food there is good enough to keep me a delighted prisoner. thanks again, giotto, for creating such a paradise the world has never experienced. and thanks for keeping it affordable. drinks are on me next time! you work hard and are incredibly intelligent to guide newbies in what might be the most mysterious, to date, adventures that will ever be! i call you wg. wizard g. and patiently wait in line for your book. wow! that will bring me to page a page turning frenzy!

thank you for reading my humble beginner post! and thanks to the entire ll staff for creating a wonderful and comfortable experience!

Bucathai,

Now - that is a hell of a first report you have written here - congratulations! And welcome to the forum, we hope to read more of your reports here soon.

I think you felt as many newbies are feeling when they come to Thailand for the first time. It is overwhelming to a certain extend - all the options, all the decisions to make and to learn step by step to become a successful hunter and find what you really want. It's definitely not easy.

Massage service at LL - there will be something soon. But it will not be a massage parlour like Tulip's - that a rice bowl that we will leave to the Thai's. There are so many massage parlours here in Soi 33 and in the surrounding areas - it's not really necessary that we open another one here.

As for your last chapter - I don't know what to say. You obviously enjoyed our concept, and it is really good to read this sometimes - then we obviously do something right. But it is definitely not everything that perfect here at Livingstone's Lodge :) . Anyway - I will pass your compliments to all our staff.

I hope to see you soon back at the Lodge.

Are you trying to enter the UAE without being seen by Piper or me because this photo proves you have been caught......

... they taste yummy (hazlenut) It's a product Giotto just put on the market. Inside the wrappers are life-size chocolate replicas of Giotto's erect little fellow - made from a mould of his little fellow during an oily massage. I told him I don't think they will be a big-seller. Women love chocolate, but they don't like those mini bite-size chocolates - they prefer fulfilling man-sized. :D

Giotto, if you ever go to the UAE, leave your favouite poppy seed rolls you bought from Otto's in Thailand or you'll be jailed. No, that's not a joke.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/travel/news/article3333905.ece
Don't even eat them before you travel:

It is also important for travelers to know that like cyclists in the Tour de France, the UAE may test your bodily fluids and could arrest you if traces of a banned substance is found in your body. A male who had smoked weed a day before traveling to the UAE was imprisoned for four years when the drugs were detected in his bodily fluids. The traces in bodily fluids meets the UAE definition of possession.

We had discussions within the marketing team whether we can really offer real size [chocolate] replicas ... and we came to the result that nobody would be interested to buy 2.5 kg of chocolate. I proposed Pipeman-sized quantities then, but the requested minimum sales weight was 20 g, and we did not expect customers to bring microscopes to the shopping malls.

The product sells well now - we obviously found the right compromise :) !

Back from Phuket. I had to suffer for 4 days.

Coming back - it's even worse, the Vice President is here!

Since I became 48 my life really goes down the hill.

GiottoWhat is wrong with Phuket?

YOu are right, it's not much wrong with Phuket, but with Patong. It is Pattaya 2 - even worse now.

It's a question of style - I believe, I simply don'y like it. It's a shithole now.

I gotta agree... I disliked Patong very much as well. I stayed at Le Meridien just to get away from Patong when I was there. The best thing about that hotel was it's own cove area and away from patong. That unfortunately is the nicest thing I can say about the area.

The Le Meridian "seams" to have an own private beach. Now - that is basically not possible in Thailand, nobody can own a beach...by law!

Except - if the SON is shareholder of a company like "Le Meridian" ...

I just vomitted on the table --- but TIT.

Disgusting! Disgusting! --- I need to get out of here!

Glad I made your night... :)

I could have cared less who was a shareholder when I was in Patong, as long as it got me away from that crap in Patong I was happy (plus they gave me a great club room).

If I remember correctly... they were advertising it as their own private beach exclusive to them... hum.... Oh well...

Which bit of Patong (or all of it) do you dislike?

I found Bangla Road just another version of Cowboy/Nana

What really got me was the pushy over-familiar salesmen in suits/clothes shops and how I got conned buying 5 items and they took 2 out of the bag while I was paying for them!

But also found good food, lively entertainment and for me it is important as the centre of the diving community which remains my ticket to Thailand.

I christened it "Tropical Margate" which makes no sense to anyone non-English.

Spending a very nice relaxing few days at LL with the GF. Things seem very quiet here, which is how I like it. Either we are eating breakfast when everyone is still sleeping, or people just are not in the mood for breakfast, as they are "eating in".

The staff has new uniforms, white shirts, with thin navy blue ties, with a big "L" embroidered. Very smart, I like it, and they seem to like it too. Food, as usual is superb.

Have not made it into the sports lounge this trip, too busy running after the GF trying to curb her appetite for shopping, but we may stay in for dinner tonight, and have a meal with the chairman and family. Will have to go in and check the new ladies. I have watched several walk in and out, and they seem quite lovely.

Look forward to meeting the newies when I arrive end of March.

I think its like Nana with all those ladyboys. Not like Cowboy.

I wouldn't recommend shopping there.

I enjoyed Krabi and Phi Phi Island more than Patong last time. Its better to stay on a quiter beech like Karoen or Kata, but mongers can still go to Patong at night.

Are we referring to Taek or Tak, the very photogenic and slightly older cutie, who has been there for several years by now?

He was my stateside wingman's favorite and will be disappointed to her she's gone ;)

Not so long ago, I rang the bell, and got introduced to all the girls. Taek asked me how come we had never previously got to know each other?

The answer was really quite simple. She was so fucking busy and popular, that she was hardly ever actually available LOL.

I'm there a lot, and I'd say 80% of the time she was never around. It was rare to see her and she was a friend of the girl I was with. Would talk to her on the phone a lot but she was always off in another city with some punter...

Amazing... But with her personal life / situation, I hope she stays out. But as Giotto says... it's hard to get them to stay out of the bars. Didn't soap fan's girl stop Big C and go back to the soapy even...

I even got the new number to certain flower girl even though she's been taken away...

To be clear, this my Utopia girl (not GF).

Yeah, her Thai BF wanted to fuck too many times a day (and its hard to blame him) and then the savings ran out.
So return to Utopia. She claims she is only interested in Farang now but doesn't speak much English yet, so that's tough. Left school at very young age.
I think she nows sees a possible future in America with someone a lot younger and hotter than me.

LOL. Great shot, she is extremely photogenic and enjoys her picture taken. And I recall you were 'smitten' by her during your last visit In a way yes. No illusions beyond the time I was with her. When we had the drink up the State Tower at the Dome as the sun set over the river something like that stays with you. Romantic past the remit of this forum!

She did "mention" if I wanted to take her to Phuket as well but that was never going to happen. Ok she isn't at the Lodge when I arrive in 4 weeks then I do something different (to find the new Tack would be wrong way to go about things)

What would have been interesting would have been if she had been there. Would I have gone with her again for my time in BKK or if I went for someone else in bar would that make me "butterfly"?

For my first time in Bangkok she was perfect but everything moves on:

"we can't return we can only look behind from where we came and go on and on and on in this circle game" J. Mitchell

Ps you have a very good memory for these things from a year ago. I remember my first evening at the Lodge not sure if I'd know anyone and finding I was sat next to you and Mick!

Hi Phuquer,

It was really a pleasure to meet you yesterday.
I did not get a change to thank you in person for paying my drink, I realised when they brought me my bill (it was too low to be true) so Thanks a lot.

I will return the favor next time we meet (probably your next trip)

Cheers
Nic

Yep!!!

Those two BESTARDS were sitting at my table yesterday for hours - exchanging information about their expeirences and good places.

Later then they moved on (--> Massage Parlour Thread :) ) and had some fun, and I had to stay here, imprisoned at the Lodge, permanently guarded by Mrs. Giotto.

What life that is :( ...

I know the knives are being sharpened for me as we speak so I'd love the company.....

Can we somehow arrange a meeting in the "Ministry of Foreign Affairs" to discuss issues about hotel arrangements for diplomats from countries located somewhere out there in the oceans :) ?

That would be a good reason ...

Well actually this trip is 1/2 personal and 1/2 work related but security for us diplomats are of concern and we are on heightened alert (actually no shit). But I'm a little more worried about ducks and knives on the personal side. Trade is more of the meetings this time but there is the strong possibility of forming new alliances and relations, inside and outside the normal business establishments.

Due to recent history I would think that Mrs. G might be smiling that I could be forming new relations between our two countries. Right now it's either LL or another place but I'm a little worried about pulling in an external disagreement into LL. My country and another region from Isan are having some political turmoil currently and the news will surely get released where that I am in town.

And Mrs. G know's I'm a gentleman at all times so I'm sure she would welcome that I escort you out during the day. You can tell her that a few flower girls have volunteered to ensure my safety and I'm sure they can assist you as well.

don't worry about external disagreements ... we are used to that.

but your description of the actual problems of international politics made me think. there was a meeting between a high ranking (female) isaan politician and the (female) president of livingstone's yesterday [whilst i had to listen to the stories of those phuquer / nicfrenchy bestards :)].

it first seamed to be a standard information exchange, but the meeting somehow got heated in a later stage. the kitchen had to bring some tools to the table: 2 knifes for potato peeling, a butcher blade and a steak hammer. they then ordered a huge number of medium sized green cucumbers and potatoes, and somehow practiced an kind of ritual:

every time they took one cucumber and two potatoes (god knows why). then they started the ritual with peeling those vegetables. afterwards one of them took the butcher blade chopped the peeled cucumber into tiny slices, while the other one took the steak hammer in both hands (!) and smashed the peeled potatoes on the table (two loud bangs !!!) ...

after each ritual both of those ladies looked towards nicfrency and phuquer, or was it towards me - difficult to say :). disturbung was, that they looked quite angry :( ...

they conducted the ritual about 20 - 30 times ... hmmm, it was something like a training session methinks.

anyway - somehow everything calmed down later, and we had a special dinner: mashed potatoes with cucumber salad :) .

i don't think you have to be too worried about any political tensions :d !
