And would you believe it, they refused to accept my money, wished me poka and finally disappeared into the dark. Does anyone have an explanation or maybe a similar experience? 2 months ago in UA I was stupid enough to speak only Russian to the police guys, who stopped me. As a result had a long lasting hassle to haggle my fine down to 20 Dollar (from 50 EURO initially for overtaking a car, where it was apparently forbidden).
Of course I have already read in another forum about the street activity in Odessa, especially around the harbour area. It will be interesting to explore it. I will let you know the outcome in a report in the related forum soon.

This is the main beach for the moldovans, its on the nistru river if the moldovans wants seaside they go to odessa in ucrain.

I have not been to Moldova yet but did a very pretty moldovian in Istanbul, 5 yrs ago. The sweet memories are enough to pull me to moldova soon.
The impression I get from the posts is that the paradise is getting damaged but its not all over yet. That is, there is still hope for us dollar folks and that there is a healthy mix of pro and freebie scene. From my past travels (particularly Ukraine), its the promise of a pro that gets me in to the country but the sweetness of freebies that cling to memory, years later. I was in Ukraine during the orange revolution (2004/05 new year eve)and it was very affordable. I am sure it will be pretty brutal for us now.
One thing I read in one of the posts got my curosity up. Someone mentioned looking for a business reason to go to Moldova often. His reason probably was a legitimate travel excuse. I am not married and own a small software consulting business, so do not need an excuse. But the thought does open up some wonderful possibilities.
Has anyone tried (or come across) a business+mongering opportunity, so that there is a steady pipeline of prospects for non-pro / gfe? I apologise if I am getting ahead of myself. I do own a software development center in India but I am of indian origin myself and very connected with the local community. Screwing up there is not an option due to business and social image. (Also, I do not really fancy Indian women. Slavik is what I like the most).
Please do share your thoughts. I do know that this would be a totally wrong reason to set up a business, from the financial point and would mostly be a loss maker but as we all know, spending money for happiness is a big thing too.

To open a business here without comming here ones a month its almost impossible to make it profitable. you will loose all, they will steal your money in the first minute they will have the chance.they will create a hassel and show you there anger and that they make you a good frofit business and they decide you should pay them more and if you will not pay one day you will find your office empty all your furnitures and pc will be stolen.
If you come for business and pleasure its the best combination to get GFE and normal girls. its true many moldovan girls travel to istanbul for 3 weeks make some cash money and back home to feed her children or parents... (

You are somewhat from totaly right! It needs to be very selective whom you trust and what buisness you want to do and esp. Not telling everybody the complete program/ buisness idea. Other wise they steal your ideas and even your investorcontacts and try to press you on the side, trusting these guys is a real big risk. A deal, made with a handshake, like its comon in Germany to start something doesnt count a bean. And these guys ask for each and everything " Avans ". Prepayment. Ok, most of them are not doing realy well but you simply can't trust them to a certain extend.
And be carefull with lawyers and notars as well, they are realy not THAT confidential. Thats what I had to learn very painfully. Opening a buisness and be not frequently in charge in the office here is a big big mistake!

Of course I am in the mood for Chisinau! I always am! You know very well that if I could I would live there on a permanent basis :) I am not really doing Sentimente anymore...too many foreigners. I stick to other sites in the native language that filters away all but the most persistent mongers. The response rate I get there both in terms of quality and quantity dwarfs that of Sentimente. The torture consistes in answering the girls who text or mail me asking me when I am coming to Moldova :(
Regarding opening up a business I agree with Essi, except in my opinion it takes a lot more than just showing up once a month. The dream of opening a small business in Moldova as a plausable excuse to go there is almost always a romantic fantasy that ends bad. Since it is only a past-time thing you will need someone to take care of the day-to-day running of the business in your absence which leaves you no choice but to hire a Moldovan. And when it comes to money I would never ever trust a Moldovan, ever. Of course I can only speak for myself, and I know that a few board members have successful businesses in Chisinau and only visit periodically, but I would personally never start anything in Moldova unless I was present every day all the time. I have worked too hard to trust my money to someone else, let alone a Moldovan!

In ukraine, I had actually gone to see if the country had advantages over India for software development. It was 4 yrs ago and there was a lot of media reports on ukraine being an upcoming star in software programming. So I happened to meet a lawyer or two, went and talked to two software companies as a very informal level and decided against sourcing our IT needs from ukraine. But one of the lawyers seemed to be pretty interested in me and dropped me off till my apartment. I had a feeling she wanted a hint to come upstairs but I had an evening planned with a 24 year univ student which I was very keen on (also, didn't help that the lawyer was late thirties / early 40s herself). It kind of felt interesting.

Unfortunately, People closed. Was my favourite, so I simply checked some of the remaining clubs during a long weekend, in increasing order of my personal preference:
-deja vu: Expensive drinks, free entry, but total failure. Remember much better times there last year.
-City (Friday). Looks like elite crowd, not really my taste, more boys than girls. Charge for entry.
-booze time (Friday): More to a standard club, girls not very exciting. In same building as City, in the centre, charge for entry a bit lower than City.
-Star Treck+Military Pub (same building), out of centre, but no charge for entry on Saturday; very few pros I spotted, quite a few good girls; worth to give it a try in Star Treck, because crowd a little bit more mature. Military the very teeny crowd.
-Dance Planet. On the way to StarTreck, so you might simply stop by and have a look. Because it is not so big, it was crowded on Sunday. Quite easy to get in touch with the reasonable/good girls, because there is a long bar you can stand at. In case, you show up soon enough :-)

As most of the Moldovan girls are mixed not much girls are 100% pure moldovankas so their personality is not similar to slavic, Russian or Romanian. It is a mixer.
I believe that here in moldova not exist a girl who dnt give sex. Its just a matter of her attitude and feelings. In my previous visits I stayed at Jolly Alon Hotel (4 star/150 E per night) but I also used this company http://www.moldova-travel.com/accommodation.htm and had no problems so far. Some apartment furnishers may look old but the location of the apartments were great.

You are exactly right. She is in fact Karin from ZB. I was trying to coax Bez into using a better camera since his models are so gorgeous. At the end of each post, I added what I had. I have already commented that the other girl is a Paisa. No intention to mislead.

They just look like cell phone pictures... Nokia makes get Cell phone cameras.. But anyway, thanks for the good picture you posted. :)

Just some questions.
I’ll be in winter for awhile in Moldova. Usually I use the Luna Hotel in the central Chisinau, simply for using the closed and guarded car parking… the rooms are good nice, big and friendly and with well socked fridge. Some idea if it’s girlfriendly? May be with paper registering.
I think to sponsor a girl or two (we will be two for some days) and wonder what the correct price is, heard of 100 €/day possible???
