Yes. The owners behind Mail. Ru (Victor Remsha, etc) were concerned about the number of fake profiles and prostitutes on the site, hence they have begun to clean it up aggressively in areas like Moscow, SPB and other places where they felt there were too many P4P profiles. Furthermore they have removed a lot of the search options whereby you could look for a girl who wanted "sex" or seeking a sponsor. Finally they deleted all such profiles in one go which were solely pros. Today, if you want to find such girls on mail. Ru for moscow, you have to be looking for them as new profiles as they get deleted within a few weeks, especially if they have semin naked photos.
So I guess the short answer is that there are less fun seeking birds on mail. Ru. From my experience, even when having been a VIP member (where you can select which City you want to show as your current location / home town) the Moldovan girls are very slow in responding unless you write to them in Russian language with cyrilic letters.

I wouldn't worry too much Essi, over the years you have done well and I guess know you seek something a bit more permanent. You won't have to date hundreds of women like you would in a Western country to find success but I think you need about 10-15 solid contacts before you want to move to the next phase of a relationship.
