Wow - slight difference in cultures there but the women in both places are unbelievable sweet and people are very friendly in Russia and Colombia. If you want a Russian wife then go with European Connections, but is you want a Latin wife go with TLC ( the Latina Connection ) hands down they are the best in helping look for a mate. I have used their services and its the best in the business. Some easy points to consider as I'm a web-developer ;)

1. Try and check it with different browsers, I'm sure you have tested it with Microsoft Internet Explorer, but do try with Mozilla firefox, right now the site does not fit well with firefox. Mozilla Firefox commands 30 percent of web traffic and most of the people from west now a days prefer firefox.

2. Make sure you submit your site to google to get more exposure the link is here:

Make a site map of the web site so that google robots picks it up. The reason is most traveller when they type moscow travel fun night life etc ..your site will come up and you will get more trafic to your site..

3. Just add a long title for good publicity on the web right now it is Helena's Individual Escorts / About me >> Make it a bit longer add moscow and russia name.

4. Spelling correction: "Want to get [reed] of daily stress?" reed <>rid

In my experience, "night" usually means anytime between 3am to whenever you cjoose to kick her out, sometimes as late as early afternoon.

I'd like to mention vkontakte.ru. It's a site that is the Russian equivalent (and basically direct ripoff) of facebook. Nearly all the women on there are university students or recent university graduates. Golden age may be over, but it has been over for years. In fact, I think things are better now than they were 3-4 years ago. It might have been just my personal experience, but during the rebirth of Russia's economy 2005-2006 there was even an anti-Western sentiment among some girls as they switched from being foreigner oriented to being more interested in their local Slavs. This anti-sentiment has been tempered somewhat and the girls disappointment in their own men has lead many to reconsider the foreigner option... more as a hobby or entertainment than as something serious. In this sense things may have improved for us to a degree with a certain market segment, even if overall our work is harder.

I lived in Brazil for 2 years in the 90's and speak the language with reasonable capability. Not fluent by any stretch, but I can hold my own in a conversation. The pattern is always the same. 20% answer in big cities, 40% in provinces. Of them 15% give a phone number. 50% of the ones who gave a phone number meet eventually. 25% of those who meet get shagged.

I just noticed today that Mamba (and its numerous variants - date.ru, etc) finally has an ENGLISH version of its web-page! There is a menu selection down the left-hand side to choose your language preference.

In the recent interview on russian TV Mr. Putin said that number of foreign workers in Russia during this year must be reduced by 80%.

This goes both for illegals coming from FSU, China, Vietnam or whatever
especially when they are non slavic (hunting season is already opened on them in Moscow). And also those from the West who are (presumably) legally staying in Russia. The russian government will decrease number of staying permits and vissa issued trying to replace this foreigners with locals where ever possible.

Probably foreign companies are already reducing their stuff in Russia, Moscow at most and also there will be decrease of those coming to Moscow on their companies expences. This means number of foreigners arriving or permanently staying in Moscow will decrease during this year.

Those girls are aware this means less opportunties for them so their thinking is "I will get what I can untill there is time". English speaking as option is probably connected with this.

Comparable to February last year in February this year there was 34% less "wealthy persons" in Russia.

Visa rules will be eased for white-collar workers from the European Union, the United States and Japan under legislation being prepared for the State Duma, the Federal Migration Service said Thursday.

The proposed legislation would create an EU-like blue card for skilled immigrants in Russia and remove many bureaucratic headaches, possibly including work quotas, the migration service said.

Migration officials have discussed easing visa rules since 2007, but the talks have gained new impetus in recent weeks amid government worries about a shortage of qualified personnel despite the crisis.

"Russians still have a priority in getting jobs, but there are some professions that lack specialists in the country," migration service spokesman Konstantin Poltoranin told The Moscow Times.

Poltoranin said his agency has passed recommendations on easing visa rules to the Cabinet, including a suggestion that employers of new foreign companies opening in Russia not be required to deal with the labor office, thereby facilitating the employment process.

He said the softened visa rules might also allow companies to no longer have to apply for quotas for foreign staff. Quotas are one of the most common problems for companies with foreign personnel because a company looking to hire, for example, a British national can only apply for a quota on British nationals at the start of every year.

Poltoranin likened the proposals to the planned EU Blue Card, based on the U.S. Green Card and aimed at allowing suitably qualified people and their families to live and work in the EU.

He declined to discuss other possible changes, saying the final criteria for the new rules hasn't been decided and could be amended several times before drafted into a bill for the Duma. The bill could be submitted to the Duma by July, he said.

The Federal Migration Service has been talking about plans to simplify the complicated visa rules for a long time, but no real action has been taken yet, said Alexei Filippenkov of Visa Delight, which provides visa and registration support to expatriates.

"The system should be changed to get rid of the numerous obstacles that now exist in the system," he said.

My idea is that they block foreigners random.

But it's not for everybody (especially foreginers), since this site is based on educational parameters. Idea is to help people who went to same school/university to stay in touch.

There's english section which is bad and search function is crap and it will not help at all.

There are not those who openly search for sponsor and you will not find any, also no "pink" profiles. There are very strick rules.

But if you figure how this site works and you're ok with it it can bring good result if you put some work in it. I had the same problem too. But sorted it out. Here are the instructions.

Use firefox as a browser.

When the message box opens and you can't copy it, right click on it.

Select open frame in new window.

Then click on it. (nothing will seem to happen)

Then click Ctrl+A (it will invisibly select all)

Then make your browser window smaller and have wordpad or microsoft word open next to the browser window.

Click on the txt in the browser window and drag it into wordpad or word. And copy fm here.

Hope this works for you. This works brilliantly for me.

Also, Assimil says sometimes you can paste, sometimes not, but I have many older messages saved, like from last year, and I can paste any old text, but can't paste any new contacts.

First of all I hope you don't find my request too naive, I am aware ISG readers are a well experienced crew. I thought perhaps any you can enlighten a humble new comer like me, many thanks in advance!

Being currently based in Moscow, I have been doing well in the internet dating scene but I am now seriously comtemplating the idea of leveraging what it seems to be a local enless P2P market for the reasons of conveniency and time saving.

4) More importantly, how SAFE is visiting these girls at their places? (considering some of them live in distant corners of Moscow). I assume if they live alone chances of being mugged are less however you don't know if someone could turn up whilst you are in "the thick of it".

Being in Moscow already, I would say that you are well positioned to utilize Mamba as effective tool for dating/mongering/recreating...whatever. Once you visit an apartment (which they seem to be shared by several girls according to my online research) are they actually flexible to let you choose not the one you originally picked what another one you fancy more instead?. Reading the russian forums, photoshop enhancement masterpieces are not uncommon at all in dosug and intimcity!
