Seriously though. I've read the articles about the kidnappings and I wonder the circumstances surrounding them and where they occurred.
For as long as I've lived down here, I;ve never felt threatened or intimidated by the people or the environment. As with everything though, there are two sides to the story.I was just down there for the Papa's Christmas Party. Kind of fun... but most of BT was closed. Finally got a nce piece of sweetie pie at Maribu. Oh Yes! Anyway... I was told that the kidnappings were pretty much all drug related. If you don't mess around in that area and specifically the Mexican Mafia. you should be OK. I too never have felt any danger in Mexico. Of course it always pays to try and watch you back and steer clear of questionable situations.
