I wanted to place my summary of my trip to BKK back in Oct here as the bulk of mongering involved Escort services.

I had a very good (but brief) experience back in June when I was in BKK for just a couple of days. I wanted to plan in advance an experience that involved 2 sets of ladies. - About half of what you see listed online isn't real. There are many which are simple bait and switch services which post very nice, hot pics of ladies to tempt a guy into any price. What you are likely to get showing up at your door is some random 5 or 6 and forced into a tough decision to accept the dog at your door or go without.

- Many of the services are not really that interested in setting up arrangements till a few days before you arrive. You can imagine how crazy the situation of coordinating ladies calendars. Same is true for the escort service managers. They are only interested in a a sure deal.

- A good number of the Escort services are run by Farang that live or have lived in Thailand. A number are built and run by a farang and a thai working lady.

- There is a good amount of overlap in ladies across services. If you look carefully. You'll see the same faces with different names on multiple sites. This is because one service provider has multiple outlets to sell their product and some ladies are working for a number of services in parallel.

So. In the process I came across a guy that provided technical support to a number of escort and other services. If you know BKK, jump on the subway at Asok, head north towards Ratchadapisek. Get off at Huay Kwang stop... There you are at Soapy central. In my earlier days in Thailand, I often had the same sort of problem about trying to set something up ahead of time. I found that if you call the agency ahead of time you can get them to provide a lot of information about the girls they have. I suggest talking to them by phone. If they don't appear to be helpful, move on to the next. I guarantee you will find one that will bend over backwards to help you. We agree 90%. I would generally only use an escort service in an unusual circumstance (e.g. late arrival and very tired) or if it's an agency I could trust, which has REAL photos of the girls. I am not as uncomfortable with turning a girl away. I just let the agency know up front, if the girl is not the same as the photo, I will turn her away. I always keep an open mind to all venues, as long as you end up with a girl you like and can afford the rates. Sometimes it's just the right situation too.
