I met some girls on dating sites who ask me to buy them internet time on this site. The site charges 2dollars an hour which is almost 80php. The tuition especially in community colleges are cheap. 5000 pesos a month will take care of everytrhing for the girl if she lives in provinces. In cities it will be double that.

I think this ends up losing 75% of the girls I initially contact who say they are looking for a serious guy etc etc but it means things are much simpler and more straightforward when someone is interested. Planning my 8th trip to Philippines for 15 days to start last week in June. Thought I would share my modus operandi. I seem to have settled into a routine for these trips and it works just fine for me.
I usually spend the first 2 or 3 days in Makati, then head for Cebu which I use as a base. In the past I have detoured out of Cebu to see a bit more of what the Philippines has to offer. Davao, CDO, Butuan, Ormoc, Dumaguete, Boracay, Bohol to name a few.
My basic itinery is 3 days in Makati. 2 at the beginning of my trip and one at the end. Then to Cebu for the remaining duration with a side trip planned this time to Bantayan with my gf. Maybe I am being alarmist for no good reason but I always feel uncomfortable when I read about detailed plans even down to the girl's names and all. Maybe you are using false names (which would be good).
Lots of people have come undone through telegraphing their every movement on Facebook and this could be seen as another instance of this.

No, seriously your routine is like a disciplined version of my narcissistic chaos before one of my trips. I fire from all canons and have like 30-40 girls lined up for a ten days visit. I hate leaving, I hate being out of touch even more! Before you leave, text "GROAM ON mm / dd / yyyy" to 2884. That will activate text roaming for up to 6 months. Need to maintain a balance of P100 to keep it active.
For sending texts from overseas I used to use skype as it would let me set my from address to my RP mobile number, making replies transparent, but have recently switched to textfish, as the rates are less than a third of what skype charges (EUR0. 02 / text to smart / sun, EUR0. 015 to globe) and reiability is better.
If you're a super-cheap-charlie use chikka.

I enjoyed CDO because it was different and unusual and I was unusual as well.
I visited the bars and didn't find anything interesting, but using an Internet service (not DIA) I got a tour of poverty, with a poor girl, but she had religion so no go. I got a trip out to the so-called beach (it sucked) and then back to a room, and one hell of a last minute sexpolsion before she left, but she waived off the last day. I normally pay my DIA contacts and mall conquests 1000 whether short time or long time. If they stay long time then they will have the added bonus of a three nice meals per day, watching a movie, swimming or going dancing in the evening, whatever takes their fancy. I have read the other posts and know some of you may think this is too much for provincial girls and I don't want to reopen the very old and stale debates about what is the right and wrong amount to pay. To me it feels right and if they have travelled from one of the outlying towns (which seems to happen often in CDO) then I will reimburse their fare as well.
I agree that the girlie bars in CDO are very expensive even when compared to Cebu and I did some posts last year and the year before on the 'Other Areas' thread about my experiences with these places. The prices you were quoted were correct but I do remember a few years ago when the same bars quoted me 1500, so they have drastically increased their prices in the last three or four years. I just don't know why they are so expensive, there did not seem to be many Koreans in CDO, at least from what I could see and not really an abundance of foreigners either. In fact most of the bars were dominated with what appeared to be local men and I just don't know how they can sustain such inflated prices. If you use some of the less commercial bars then prices are much cheaper and although I seldom use bar girls I did get one real beauty for 1500 including bar fine and fee to the girl. It is not that I cannot afford to pay 3500, I won't pay on principle as I hate to think I am being overcharged or ripped off.
Last year I had to take a taxi from CDO to one of the outlying areas, I was trying to track down one of my old contacts who needed help. The taxi took me about 25 kilometers out of town where I left the meter running for 5 minutes as I made enquiries with a householder about the girl. When I got back in the taxi he said "new journey you have to pay extra" and reset the meter. We had a big argument in the cab and though it was 10pm at night, completely dark and in the middle of nowhere I paid what had been on the meter and got out of the cab rather than be ripped off. The driver was laughing as I got out thinking I was merely calling his bluff, but when he didn't back down I thought "fuck you" and left. As it happened I was able to get another taxi after a 20 minute walk and I felt happy and contented knowing the other driver had to travel 25 km back to town without a fare. I swear to god though, if I had been armed at the time, I would have happily shot him through the back of his head as he was laughing, without a seconds thought or an ounce of remorse.
Some of you guys may think I should have just paid and be done with, but I mentioned this anecdote just to highlight my utter dislike of anyone who deliberately tries to rip me off, whether it be for a handful of pesos or substantially more. So back to the point in question, many of the bars in CDO will try to rip you off with high prices but you can find cheaper bars. It also seems like a lot of the more commercial bars are operating a cartel, since I found most of them charged the same rate, which as I recollect was 3500 for take out.
I tend to stick to DIA contacts in CDO and regular girls that I meet in the street or in malls. I really recommend you guys to get off the well worn paths in CDO and spend some time just walking round some of the poor residential areas. You will be amazed at just how easy it is to strike up conversations with people (I mean girls) and two or three hours in the afternoon can easily yield a handful of cell phone numbers, whose owners will be more than keen to spend time with you. I like CDO because it lacks the commercial atmosphere of Cebu and provides a nice and refreshing contrast. I agree that the pricing structure in CDO is somewhat of a mystery. The places aren't anything special, and there's nothing that would differentiate the services from any other city in the country. Maybe the payoffs to the politicians and cops are higher there, which would inflate the prices. There are few expats and I'm guessing fewer still locals who could afford or would be willing to pay the prices asked.

For me there has been no inflation since I have always paid 1000 (at least the vast majority of the time anyway). I am happy with this amount, the girls are happy and it does not IMHO increase a girl's general expectation that everyone will pay the same. I have no problem with guys who pay less or indeed guys who pay more, it is a personal choice that we each make. Anyway I had a sneaking suspicion my original post might regenerate this age old discussion, which never seems to be reconcilled in favour of either camp. I open DIA now and again and browse through profiles. I never send messages, just read profiles. I do not have a pic, but I say in my profile that I will share a pic later on email if we become friends.
These girls know I have visited their profiles because DIA tells them, and so they then check me out.
Many click on by after they read my profile because they don't like my frankness, but a surprising number (around 20%) send a message to me (often just a Hello or Hi but at least it indicates interest). It is only then that I respond, and I always first ask if they have read AND understood my profile. About 1/3rd drop out at this step, because theyhaven't read it so they reread my profile and read past the word "foreigner" in the first line and realise I am there for fun only.
Of course, there are also some girls who send messages whose profiles I never previously read. I respond to them in the same way.
All of these sift methods form a pool from which one can then select possible new friends.
I send messages, chat, exchange pics etc with most of them and it soon becomes easy to spot the live ones from the imposters and hookers. Don't ask me how. After a while I just know, and you will too if you have any experience with people.
I always say that we need to meet in person first and then I arrange to meet in a PUBLIC PLACE, usually a mall coffee shop, so I can check them out. I think we all agree that it is necessary to ask girls on DIA several questions:

TMTYes. You can buy these easily. I strongly recommend you buy at the airport. The staff there are better at dealing with foreigners etc and it saves you the hassle of findng an office downtown and waiting in line. Prices are all the same.

i hope this helps.good info. but what you didn't mention is that in both smart and globe the speed is painfully slow. i've tried and endured endless connections that suddenly closed, lost emails etc.
starbucks in manila locations probably offer the best / fastest ways to get online in that they charge p100 for a one hour card, but at least the speed can handle emails with large attachments.
if you are just doing email chat with dia conquests past present and future or ym chats, then the usb sticks will work.
but if doing non mongering work stuff that involves emails with multiple attachments etc, speed of smart / globe downloads will have you pulling out what hair you might have left.

Hard to say. There are some general things about safety you need to know in Manila. It is possible you will get into physical trouble if she takes you to local parties or party with her friends.
Phi males drink a lot and easily start fighting sometimes with guns.
Just be on the safe side and take her to many bars and disco which foreigners frequent. Being a daredevil in Manila is not wise.
Next thing you need to know is irrespective of how many people are there you pay for everything. This could easily be very expensive for you.
IMHO do not be eager to fit into the local scene. Just try to get her into your room, have fun and ofcourse let her take you to sightseeing places.

This girls place was a small two bedroom apartment that was spotlessly clean, good shower, clean toilet, mybe 40-50 sq metres. I knew it was behind Wack Wack and not far from Edsa but wasnt totally sure of location or neighbourhood. However before going there I scoped it out and knew it should be ok. It was fine and we had a fun safe night.
However as RK correctly points out, I should say that going to a girls aprtment (especially one you have never met before) could be filled with dangers. Ensure that they do not steal money or other things and vanish. Fees for examinations are expensive by Phi standards.
Newly graduated nurses have to undergo a kind of training before they can work independently. Maybe she talking about this. It is like residency training position for doctors.
However sending money is entirely upto you if you feel it as a donation only. Most often it is better to meet and like her before sending money.

I know a woman that graduated from nursing school in May of 2011. She didn't have the money to take the review course so she didn't sit for the boards. All of that is documented. I have no problem sending 8, 000 but this sounds fishy.The Philippines has lots of sham nursing programs whose graduates are poorly prepared for the exam. Even if everything else in the story were straight-forward, this potential investment is far from a sure thing. I concur with the advice to get to know her better and do a little quizzing about the actual program of study she completed. Like,"what percentage of your school's graduates pass the exam"? And maybe go online to check out the school for yourself.
