Sorry, I should have explained. It seemed that she had just signed up, so I thought she was "fresh". We had a nice exchanged of messages. In one she said she had never met a foreigner here. I assumed "here' meant dia. But when I asked for contact info, she said I had to "prove" myself because there are many liars "here".
Well, how would she know if a guy / guys lie if she'd never met anyone and it was her first day on dia? Then she tells me "they" offerred her money, but when she went to Western Union, it wasn't there. I didn't bother asking how she had met these guys. I can only guess she had a different profile but got banned.

My wife whenever she spots a Filipina (there are some here NYC suburbs but as many by far as say CA) tries to talk to her if she looks friendly and she has a few stories, some sad, some bizarre like the guy who was keeping his wife well tethered (although not as bad as what you describe since she was in the mall alone by herself).
Her husband was a shoe fetishist and she already had a very respectable collection (not on Imelda's scale obviously) and his greatest joy when he came back from work in the evening was not what you think but to watch her walk around in the latest high heels he had bought for her.
I do not know about other countries but once the wife has the green card here can't she do as she pleases and if she has a minimum of with [ mysterious automatic correction here, delete the H in the previous word] there are plenty of organizations / people ready to help and not always in an altogether disinterested fashion.

I previously chatted a person on FC that I thought was a filipina woman. She looked hot almost too hot so I was thinking could be another scammer profile but decided to check her out. We exchanged a number of messages and there was never any hint of a scam or anything that would lead me to believe she was a fake although I was still skeptical bacause of her photos. I logged in to FC another day and saw that her profile no longer said she lived in Davao but now she lived in Canlaon, Negros Oriental. Hmm now I figured scammer.
I sent her a message and asked for her email address saying I wanted to send her some of my photos. She replied with her email which I plugged in to Facebook. That sexy filipina is really an Indian Man. WTF? (BTW thats a good way to check a girls facebook profile without asking them for their fb page directly).
I'm not sure what this Indian guy is up to but I quickly blocked him. If anyone wants to fuck with him here's the details.

I get that there are plenty of monsters and morons out there but I've dated or lived with a dozen or so green card holders and the majority came in on a K1 fiance / marriage. While they may have been "in love" when they came to the US these girls all to a T were effective in maneuvering themselves toward a far better life than they had had just a few short years ago. Sure, there are a few sadly stuck in trailer trash parks but I will bet that number is very small. FWIW, I consider myself a control freak and I'm serious that the girl needs to follow my rules, though I'll bend if the girl can make up for it.
My Jamaican here lived with me for 3 months. After attempting to help her get a driver's license, she kept failing the test and my rule is the girl needs to be autonomous enough to drive. She came over on a fiancee visa, married the guy after he coerced her to sign a homemade prenup, and lived the type of existence you describe, except that he made the mistake of being physically abusive. Eight months into the "marriage," one of my wife's friends (who my client had been secretly communicating with) put her in touch with me.
Not only did I get the creep booted out of his own home for about 7 months, I had his prenup thrown out as unenforceable, he was ordered to pay his wife $2, 500 a month while the divorce was pending (7 months) , plus about $60, 000 in damages for her pain and suffering, plus he paid me all of her attorney's fees, plus a good portion of his income accumulated during the marriage (community property state). I just love giving an abuser his just desserts!

On my last two trips I have met and spent some holiday time with a mid forties woman who has been separated for many years. We met via DIA and the understanding is clear that we spend time together and then each go our own way. We met away from her home town so she would not be observed by her friends and family. The computer was shipped and received but over the next few weeks she had the usual family emergencies delaying remitting me funds. She then sent me an e-mail telling me the WU remittance number and I went to collect my funds at a Filipino Sari Sari store in my neighborhood. The guys who post comments on the PL site on the open area are obviously desperadoes.
There are a couple of guys who put the same message on almost EVERY girl's profile, including their email address, Skype name, phone number etc. They are sitting ducks for scamming or phishing girls (or men) who will clearly have a lot of fun with them.
I like the way that some of the more thinking women retort with very sharp comments. seriously though, notwithstanding the fact that i would never risk my law license by engaging in sexual relations with a client, my wife was and is 100 times hotter than this particular client. i don't have very many clients who are not us citizens (maybe 1-2 percent?) , but i will bend over backwards to help someone who is a victim of domestic violence, especially when the abuser uses the victim's immigration status as a way to keep her "in line."

I know of one instance where a lawyer was the abuser.
In my case to obtain a fiancee visa I used a NYC immigration lawyer who dealt exclusively with the Phils. He noticed that I myself had neglected a little detail which was to become a US citizen, I got my citizenship in a matter of weeks while everybody else was waiting months. The visa was processed expeditiously and efficiently for a very reasonable fee, lower than what the other lawyers I had contacted were asking. Later fiancee now wife managed to get her green card stolen while at church, he handled the replacement formalities very well. And then the shenanigans concerning her own citizenship.
I mention also that the walls of his office were covered with photos, affidavits, press excerpts, certificates attesting to his extensive generosity and numerous charitable works in the Phils. I was impressed. His own wife was a Filipina of course. Also all the employees were Filipinas as well.
Another detail which I recorded was that in his actual and very large private office (chamber?) there was a sofa covered in green velvet and of extraordinary size.
Fast forward a couple years on the late news I see my attorney in handcuffs as he was being arrested. As I am heading for Manila to monitor my babysituation (decided yesterday and booked tickets) I also did create myself a new DIA profile a couple of days ago. My old profile is deleted. There's been some discussion on this board about how the young filipinas regard the older punters. For the record, I'm just past 50 myself, though I stay in reasonable shape and try to dress well. Some posters thought that no 22 year old hottie would ever find an older guy attractive, and it's just faked to better her financial situation. That certainly would be true with women back home. However, I felt that the women I saw got genuinely turned on in bed. It just didn't seem fake. (I think women and men are just totally different than men in this regard. There's no way I could be happy with a woman who I don't find physically attractive.) Most of these girls have been burned by the young studs. They regard them are unreliable, lacking substance. Most are wanting security and a family. For women, status is a real turn on. Fortunately, foreigners have perceived status. Even the young ones said that they wouldn't even consider a pinay husband less than 35 or a foreigner less than 45. DonAn accurate, if somewhat cynical statement Mr. Don, though I have to admit I don't feel particularly downtrodden. I do get your point and it's not unfounded. However, maybe some (even most) of us who have established long-term relationships and are relatively happy with them know something undiscovered by the guys who literally come and go. As my friend Red Kilt and others have stated before, once you live in the candy store, as opposed to visiting for a couple of weeks once or twice a year, the unending availability of the candy can get somewhat boring and cloying, as can the endless, meaningless, redundant conversations in pidgin English. This is not meant to disparage anyone's lifestyle but merely to point out a possible difference in perspectives between those of us who live here and those who do not.

3. Generally have no tolerance with girls asking permission. These girls do not keep their mouth shut and just do whatever they want. I do not want problems with parents especially after I fucked the girl.
