Agree with X on this one, its a evil word, and although I use it, I much prefer the gentler British words 'to punt', 'Punter', 'Punting' in reference to p4p activities. One brings up images of gently drifting down the Thames, whereas the other is just plain nasty with its negative connotations (*****-m, war-m, fish-m!).
"Sticks and stones . . . will break my bones . . . but names will never hurt me." Still a lot of truth in that school-yard couplet, gentlemen. Monger is only a word, guys . . . and although it usually means "to sell" . . . "fish-monger" is someone who sells fish. "Wh*re-monger" is a pimp and so on . . . there are two other common meanings for monger:
First alternate definition is "to be involved in something often or frequently" - usually something disreputable or questionable, for example to be a gossip-monger, scandal-monger or war-monger. So while some of you may not like to call a spade a spade, get real guys: most polite society treats paying for pussy as disreputable (grin).
Two is to be a frequent user of something - sound familiar, gentlemen ? so another meaning for a "Wh*re-monger" is a frequent customer of working-girls, or in old-fashioned slang a "john".
Now THERE's an interesting word. One meaning of "john" is a common or average guy, sort of an everyman (as in "john doe"). Maybe they call pussy-mongers "johns" because the average guy likes to frequently use pussy (grin again).
But another meaning of "john" is latrine, or toilet . . . which is sorta offensive to fellows whose parents named them "john". One friend by that name used to retaliate . . . for many months . . . against people who he heard asking where the "john" was when they wanted to take a leak. He would reply "Ohhh . . . around here, we call it "the Bill" (or "the Bob", or "the Steve", etc.)" And then he would proceed to ask the poor fellow if he needed to use the Bill/Bob/Steve practically every time he would see him.
So if you don't like monger . . . don't use it. Pick a word like punter as Gamahucher suggests, or "john", or "pussy-chaser" or even "customer" (gasp!).
But don't take offense if someone calls you a monger. Don't assume that they are using the same definition as you. Maybe they simply mean that you frequently engage in the somewhat disreputable (but ever so wonderful) pastime of sport-fucking. That's what I think anyway . . .

It might be possible to pull as a "free" or standard member, but I can't say - I haven't tried it that way. Three, there are all kinds of people on AFF, just like there are all kinds in the real world. But the difference is that on AFF, there seems to be a much higher percentage of nut-jobs and crazies . . . oh, and as far as Asia . . . a much higher percentage of chubbies (aka BBW's) . . . than I believe exists in the general population.
About me - I am in my late 40's and I look ok. Not a handsome guy, but average-looking face and a flat stomach and gym-body from regular trips to the weight-room. Ah, one more thing - I am married and honest about that in my AFF profile, so there aren't any misunderstandings with women looking for their soul-mate. No kidding, there are actually quite a few women on AFF looking for serious relationships. Some tell me to fcuk-off and curse me for cheating on my wife, but most (especially the married ones) tell me that it doesn't matter since they are also just looking for a "friend with benefits". What DOES seem to matter is that I was honest about my situation. Hmmmm . . . I call that win/win (grin).
Plan on investing time in writing emails - lots of them. Any of the hotter women get dozens of proposals every week (some get dozens every DAY), so unless you are a chubby-chaser . . . and I am NOT a fan of the larger ladies . . . then your hit-rate will be discouragingly low. Maybe one or two replies to ten or even twenty emails sent. Better response-rate if you are clever and careful about targeting your message to her profile . . . worse response-rate if what you write looks like a form-letter or spam.
Anyway, I worked the profiles for a couple of weeks before arriving on a week-night last week. I figured too much trouble to coordinate a date for the first night, so I paid for pussy - see my recent post in the Makati thread - on arrival. Actually, I think guys living in the Philippines (or any other place for that matter), can pay or otherwise play the local poon and still call themselves sex tourists. That label DOES work.
Look at it this way: the home country (better spell it "****-tree") is the pussy of the home minister. You live there, gentlemen . . . even if you travel away from the home ****-tree from time to time. If you have no home minister, and even if you do, but you travel to foreign pussy locations from time to time, then I say you're practicing sex tourism (grin). Think about it - tourists visit places where they don't live permanently.

I still have some more to say about AFF Philippines. I have already said a few things about AFF Indonesia, and so far it looks to me like the scenes are pretty much similar. I will try not to repeat myself, so if you're keen on the subject, do a search on AFF in the Indonesia thread, and you'll find a dozen or so posts from me as well as more experienced tourists like Dorman, Mandiri and a few others.
Stay tuned to this thread for more on AFF in the National Capital Region (NCR). Too busy today to write a long story, but I have at least one more of those to post from last week's AFF harvest in Makati. Lets talk theory first :
DNA testing is available in PI. I cant personally vouch for the accuracy but if its like the private health system here in PI, its as good as most western countries. If a guy have the resources he can certainly dispute the test findings. Some past posters here have cast aspersions on the PI DNA results. Its possible they can be 'bought' but I'm in no better position to say than anyone else since I don't have personal knowledge. there are labs here that claim to comply to International standards.
There are legal avenues a woman can pursue.
Now lets talk reality :
Unless the girl comes from a prosperous family she will not have the resources to pursue a guy further than making a complaint.
If there is any possibility that a man responsible (ie he fucked her) then the right thing to do is check if its his & if so, get her an abortion or stand by the girl for her child raising costs. That guy was a real glutton for punishment. He kept going back for more and spending money long after it became obvious that the girl was taking him for a fool. When a man ignores the facts he has no one to blame but himself. How much evidence did he need to get away from all the drama? It never pays to get involved with these girls personal issues. I met this guy "Bill" from the US in the Starbucks across from the US Embassy in Manila a saturday abt 1800hrs a few weeks ago.
He was sitting outside, as non-smoking inside. We chatted and he told me that he met a girl online (dont remember what site), and he had a room at BayView close by. The girl and her brother and sister met him at the airport, and they stayed in his room he first two-three days. No time for privacy, as he said. Then they went to visit her family in Mindanao, and he paid for her, the brother and the sister. And they all stayed in his hotel room. They met the family, and he was to apply for a Fiance visa. Filled in the forms, but still no privacy for the "lovebirds". They also had an argument about that when in Mindanao.
When returning to Manila, all three still stayed in his hotelroom, but he told the brother and siste that they should leave, so they could have some privace and get to know each other. They left, but the girl then went total Tampo on him, not talking with him at all. They had another argument and she left the same saturday as I met him.
He decided not to see her again, and was to find another hotel, so she could not track him down during his last two days in Manila.

After learning here on ISG I used DiA before going to Manila last time. I was to stay for some weeks, so I thought it would be fun to try.
When becoming member a lady hit on me right away, telling me not to ignore here even though she did not have a pic in here profile. We chatted and I saw her online, she sent me tons of photo's.
In my profile I say that I am married outside of phils, and that i am lonely when in Manila and i like to cuddle... hmm...

I registered on DIA 2 days back.

Well, ok I had to admit I met some gurl I met before with her sister, now I'm more intersted inher so I called her up to see me in my new home.
She cam with a cab, I told her I paid it, which I did. Damage 200 p.

The witch decide to use her jacket as an umbrella and went off to wave a cab. It was a groteske scene, she jump all the time waving with her jacket, yelling taxi. From far she look like a little kobold or poltergeist. None of the cab stopped and I couldn't blame them.
After a while, they told me I could go (swim) home, they be ok, they will just walk along the street and find a jeep or cab to take them home, so I gave them some cab money and left them. The pretty ones promised me to see me again alone. Well. Iwas wondering if she meant to see me this year or next year.
Next day I feel sick, the other day my terrible flue starts, couldn't enjoy AC on the weekend and contineued to be sick the next week until now.
Damage was 1500 p or so, plus 6 sm light, 2 for them, 4 for me: D
So, after this disaster, they could either come alone and if not they can talk to somebody else, not ME!
No more NICE GUY!

wow, this sounds cold to me. she has never met you in person and she doesn't know if you are a [CodeWord126] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord126), serial killer or whatever. i have met 25 chat mates and i have never had a bad time. i may not have taken them all to bed, but i made friends and they are still in my messenger and sometimes we chat. i always show respect, even if they aren't what i am looking for, or they bring a friend. remember a lot of the ladies on these chat sites are not bargirls and are honestly looking for a boyfriend.

After learning here on ISG I used DiA before going to Manila last time. I was to stay for some weeks, so I thought it would be fun to try.
When becoming member a lady hit on me right away, telling me not to ignore here even though she did not have a pic in here profile. We chatted and I saw her online, she sent me tons of photo's.

Robbaf, you know I think I was like you before, but now that Im living on site, no more of this. From all the online ladies I met, they all pros, looking for a sugar daddy. I really enjoyed your story as well, but I think that the girl's behavior was very reasonable. After all when the girl showed up to escort her sister, you swapped one sister for the other. it’s been a while since i’ve made a contribution to this board. these days, i’m back at command-central doing the 9 to 5 shuffle. but during my down time, i’m busy architecting my itinerary for my upcoming philippine adventure. so, this report is not about experiences in the field, but rather about my recent experiences on dia.
my motivation for this report stems from some strange and surprising experiences on dia that i think are worth sharing. despite my six trips to the philippines in the last three years, my experience on dia in the last week has significantly affected my evolving perspective on the filipina. so i’m also here looking to validate some conclusions. as such, i invite the more experienced members of this forum to offer any insights.
inspired by this thread, i signed up on dia about ten days ago. since my ultimate goal is walking off into the sunset with a filipina gem, my profile was well composed and said all the right things. (of course, i’m open to knocking down as many honeys as i can until i meet my gem. and that’s where this report comes in.)
during the initial photo approval process, i started making my moves. by approval time twenty-four hours later, i was already managing a short list of contacts and chatting away on yahoo.
a week later, i replicated the classic experiment of creating a second ‘naughty’ profile sans photo, to see how many of my new chat mates were merely posing as sweet innocents. the method was simple, where i sent out messages and identified myself as a generous american who is in your area, and i desire a companion tonight who is not shy, and sweetie, would you be interested to stay with me? " several responded with a request for a picture first. still others were open to the idea, but needed encouragement. and to my surprise, several of my sweet innocents responded by saying that they knew what i wanted, and agreed to meet me at my hotel the same night! even a cute eighteen year-old jumped at the offer and practically begged me to take her, guaranteeing that she was experienced and would do anything i wanted. only a few ignored or firmly turned down mr. naughty. i should add that i exercised this strategy with care, because i know some of you employ it in the field. after their agreeing to meet, i made up some creative reasons to cancel, making sure that i left no one hanging, so they won’t think the next dude who makes this offer is full of shit.

If you spend time in MNL, I assume you've RTFF and will attempt to find LA Cafe or EDSA Entertainment Center. You might be better off doing this on the first day rather than slumming in the malls. Hopefully 50/50 will have some details about that, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
The girl you mention sounds risky, but you seem to be reading the very worse into the situation. MM is one helluva big city and if you are trying to get from point A to point B in a jeepney, you make be talking 3+ hours. She may be relying on gay guy to help her. Personally I tend to hang around Glorietta in Bo's Coffee Shop (Manila) and same in Cebu (in Ayala or SM) or Starbucks just outside of Greenbelt. Sit there watch the totty go by, smile, eye contact etc and you will get lucky.

Ok, so we meet at the Hyatt Casino where I am staying. I won't go so far as to say they are the best but they damned fun for awhile!
Over the course of my 39 year association with the Philippines there is one constant that I have found to hold true across the board (pro and non-pro alike), they always have a back up plan and unfortunately some times you are Plan A and other times you are Plan B. If you can accept that fact tehn everything will be fine.

Well Mr. Styles, there is explanation. Out of that $100 per hour, some camgirls only take home as low as 20% of the gross. They have to split the proceeds with the website administrators, her manager (if she has one but in most cases they do), and her ate. There is also the leasing of equipment, room, board and food. Compound the fact that it is a highly illegal business. So in the end, only a small percentage of girls can make good money because there is also a quota set by the website and the managers meaning if they don't produce, they're out.

I love CYBER and the fun of tracking down your flame. One girl I met from Mindanao has had some ups and downs. It comes up over and over again: Filipinas and money. Basically, requests for money at all times in all forms should be expected.
We are lucky. The pressure to give money is actually less for foreigners. We can easily say "no". My asawa constantly sends money to the Philippines for her family. I don't mind because she works hard for it here in the US, and she loves her family. It is her choice. But it is truly amazing. Any time that any expense comes up the first response in a millisecond is to ask for money from relatives in the US. Anything: schooling, feast, beauty pageant, repairs to house, accidents, festival, dead chicken. And from all relatives no matter how distant.- and they've got plenty! When she visits the Philippines, she avoids visiting some relatives because she knows.
As has been mentioned previously, because of the strong obligation to family (which is admirable), there is never any question about sending money.
(by the way, asawa is correct. But she it totally into girls so I have no trouble in this hobby. Her father was openly a philanderer and her family pretty much just teased him about it. Basically as long as I stay loyal to home there is not problem. These constant requests for money are not surprising at all. I believe the average wage in RP is $2 per day. If they get $50 from you.- Wow (remember that they only get a small cut of barfines etc). I used to think the girls not having abortions was cos of their religious beliefs, but on my last visit I chatted to quite a few people about it and it appears that quite often it's simply the cost and difficulty of having a safe abortion.
The govt and the church have pushed abortions to the back street where it's not exactly Western standards and still costs a bit. And to have an abortion at a hospital costs a fortune relative to local incomes.
So a lot of the girls might actually have had an abortion, but don't have the mental support or funds to be able to have it easily or safely.
I find it really sad to see so many very young girls having kids. Even a lot of the waitresses seem to have had kids when they were 16. It makes their lives even more difficult.

Take it from me, I went to Phils solely to meet a gal from DAI who I thought we would get along great, and except for the sex she provided me (and it wasn't even all that), was an unmitigated disaster. A few days is just not long enough to know if she's cool enough to take with you on a biz trip, but I'm sure there are exceptions.

A few tips.
An average scammer/oppertunist will indicate her financial deficit /need to you with in the first 3 to 5 chats with you. A good one might play you over a longer period of time but drain you properly.
A lady boy tends to be a stunner; tends to use the word "DEAR"; often doesn’t have web cam so you can see her; sometimes doesn’t have a phone so you can’t pick the deeper rougher voice and almost never says that she wants children in her/his profile description (says I'll tell you later/ undecided).
Good girl virgins are target for arsehole mongers. They are usually nieve and are farly ripe for the picking to a westerner who sweeps them off there feet. Not a good move guys. For me, I am invisible but I chat with 2-3 at a time (once I tried 6 - impossible to keep up as they are so fast)
When you have more than 1 girl online and you are typing to 1 of them, the bottom of their YM message box will show that you are typing a message. If it does not come through then they will ask the questions you have been asked. I doubt she know the number of girls maybe bluff but perhaps a more educated IT guy answer that question
If asked, I always say am typing work emails which most of the time is OK and does the trick
As for being slow, the PCs many girls use in cafes are full of viruses etc so beware of links suddenly sent to you - never open unless you are sure

I had a girl yell me this about a year ago. I didn't believe her so I did a google search and found a few programs online that tell you who is online even if they are invisible. Also it does say if they are engaged in a chat.
I downloaded a couple of them and did my own testing. (whith 2 computers and 2 YM accounts)
There were different types of settings to use, one worked remarkably well, another gave false readings.

Since your messenger list and address book are syncronized, someone can check their address book to see if you are online even though you appear invisible in messenger. This also goes for other Yahoo web sites.
You need to make sure you have disabled the privacy setting that allows other Yahoo web sites to show when you are online!

You are right Xdent the answer to your question is multiple choice. Depends whether you take your girl from a bar or are comfortable with a FL hooker from the street or mall. The goverment and church may say it is and try and discourage condoms are available but read earlier in this thread as the Philippine made ones are poor quality so best bring your own.

Am sure Robaf will reply but I do it by using the PrtSc (Print Screen) function, paste it to Word and then use the MS Paint function to make it JPG. Cumbersome but works
Am told Hypersnap is good - I have yet to download and try but friends say this is a good software
