Contracts do not mean much in Ph. Have sold a few things and get a few installments then it all goes cold.
Had one girl, a good girl I had know for a few years, wanted a loan to build her house, even she's calling it a loan I know I would never see that money again. She had to get dropped.Contracts have worked well for me several times when talking to the Brgy or Police (every time). Its not even been necessary each time to have the contract handy to show (as in the case of the gent, and another not described). I knew the phone was worth more and I tried to tell her that, but she was so desperate for money and wanted it right now, so I relented and said OK. Had her sign a contract not only specifying the amount, but also that she was the true owner and no coercion on my part. About a month later she messages me asking to return the phone and she give me my money back. Sorry but I already sold it. Too bad. Turns out it was her sisters phone; not she is mad that I cannot give her back her phone. Too f**cking bad. But many contracts aren't worth the paper they are written on if between a foreigner who has NO RIGHTS here and a Pinoy. Especially with Pinays that lie LIE LIE. Cannot believe a word they say (mostly the ones you meet online). And they will take their lies against your truth even with no evidence. That plus the fact that the courts here are crooked and you can die 5 times over before your case ever gets resolved. Best is do not pay for anything in advance until the goods / services are delivered. Do not put yourself in a position where her LIES become the truth because you have no witnesses on your side. It's a losing proposition if your a poriner. As I have said before in other posts, the USA State Dept has a warning about poriners being jailed her based solely on gossip and third party hearsay. When you're a poriner no uking evidence is needed. Be very wary of Filipinas they are not the sweet things many here like to say.

Two recent stories of the police and separately the Brgy helping a foreigner.
1) So I'm walking down the street with a long-time (6 years) regular in Manila one evening, we are going out to eat. She is holding my arm in the usual way as we walk and talk. By chance (maybe!) there is a police substation 30-40 m away, straight up the street. Out of the blue she stops walking and changes the subject. She complains about a recent thing we'the done one minute prior right there on the sidewalk: I'd taken her picture (she posed). I was surprised at the complaint. It is nothing new. People do it in public all the time. I was scratching my head at the idea that she did not like the activity (done it many times previously with her and others, in public). Well, no need to do that anymore, problem solved sweetie, apology. But no. Her voice began to rise. "Its against our law for foreigner to do that!" What? No, its not. It can't be. But, you are in a foreign place, and maybe it is. "I want a police". What? I don't think its illegal. You think its illegal? "Yes". She grabbed me by the shirtsleeve and proceeded to walk towards the substation. Sinking feeling that I had done something wrong, or was being set up.
We get to the substation and are greeted by several uniformed officers. She starts speed-talking in tagalog, and drawing attention by speaking loudly. Nothing I could do but listen. After a minute of her yammering away, an officer said: "No". Every 10-20 seconds or so, he would repeat: "No", "Not so", "No ma'am". I made out that she wanted me in jail. Finally she stopped and before I could ask the officers what she was saying, one turned to me and said: "She says she owes you money". She said what? Her original complaint was about something the thing that took place on the street. "Yes sir we know. Does she owe you money?" Yes. They took both of our eye dees and then handed them back. They asked her her Brgy and me my condo name. An officer said to her: "You have to give back the money". That lit her up. "Both of you come back here tomorrow night at this time. Ma'am you bring the money". She got quiet, agreed, and walked away..I think the other way around is much more common, but I have no statistics to back that up, just from reading many reports over the years.

Many instances of gents being caught up in both police scams as reported, and also straight up no-proof items of disagreements where the police will side with the woman (BTW, that happens everywhere, even in Western cultures). I do have an example of such, a police scam. Its the only one I am aware of where I know the gentleman and what transpired. It took place almost a decade ago and it might have been reported on ISG also. The gent walked out of LAC (alone) and up the street. A white van pulled over near him and several non-uniformed guys claiming to be police arrested him for smoking. They tossed him in the van. They must have been real police as they took him to two separate police stations, then back to the van to drive around. He was with them for several hours. The officers picked up other foreigners (and only foreigners) for the same 'crime'. Finally the foreigners agreed to pay the 'smoking violators' (or such) fine of about p5000 each, and were released from the van. That's just corruption. There are other examples, including married pinay using the police to remove a foreigner from the home he paid for.
However, that also does not square with my past experience with the Brgy / Police, and also of some of my buddies who have had situations positively resolved when reporting something to local law enforcement (where proof existed to make his case. Even if that proof was never shown to the Brgy / Police). You have both situations happening.

This is easily achieved through marketing positioning of the app, the language of the apps, the interface and the general user tools of the app. Different apps appeal to different girls.
As a side note, the standard 'Nigerian prince' scam emails are more successful when they include deliberate poor grammar. Why? Because the likely gullible person is more likely to relate to poor grammar whereas others quickly dismiss the email and don't waste the scammer's time.

I have been doing this on line long enough. I name my contacts with their user name followed by SA, PL Tinder DIA etc. I counted and there are over 2 thousand contacts over the years with these suffixes so I have chatted a few girls on line. Cheers, SW.Just guessing but they may be tracking your physical device. There is something called the MAC number that is a unique code assigned to every network adapter, the part that connects you to the internet. They may be reading this and then banning any account set up with that MAC address.
Use a completely new phone, phone number and email address. Do not reuse pictures just in case they are doing this by facial recognition, use pictures that are completely different if at all possible.
I got banned once and was not able to re register until I used all new identification and devices on the site.

They can and will ban for numerous reasons (keywords, fake photos, fake location etc) and it's a PITA to get reinstated. Creating a second profile is also difficult so I assume IPs are cross referenced. Some have worked out a system to circumvent this but I never bothered.
PinaLove has a free service but it and all the apps have conditions that make a subscription worthwhile.
I'm still active online but that's only because Covid19 has disrupted my travel plans. Normally I would recommend not even opening and account nor chatting with girls until you are incountry. 'I'm in SM, meet after school?' is much more effective than 'I'm in Nebraska, meet next month?

They will go with anybody.....Well, on my other trips I was kind of dating and exploring to see where it goes, if I can find someone that it might lead into something serious or not.
So finally last year, after 5 trips and sleeping with 60-70 girls, I finally found a good match and I spent half my trip with her, so I decided to give it a try and make it serious last December. And since January that I've been in Philippines, we have been living together for 7 months so far.
Up to that point, it made sense, right?

So looking for serious girls in this case makes sense because they are not expecting you to pay them money, or bringing them to an expensive hotel or restaurant. All they want is have a connection with you, feel attracted to you, the rest is up to you, you can do the Filipino way courting them for 5-6 dates before having sex, or you can do the courting in steroids (that's how I call it) and sleep with them in 1 or 2 dates.
This brings up my second reason (and I said this before), is very gratifying knowing that a girl felt for you and is having sex with you because she likes you, she feels attracted to you, and NOT because of money. So for me the best way to achieve these two things is by choosing the right girls, which are the good girls looking for serious relationships.
It makes me feel good and I get to save money, the best of both worlds!

After a long hiatus, I decided to go on PL to see what the situation is. I know it's totally pointless collecting contacts now with no possible opening date, but I bought the 1-month subscription for $32 south sea pesos and gave it a whirl. Here is my review.
I will preface this by saying that the main objective for mongers using dating sites is really just to get the girls' phone numbers. This is so that when you get to Flipsville, you can call them up, meet them at your hotel and then fuck them for 2,000 peso overnight. It should not be treated as anything more than that. Try and avoid incessant chatter which lasts more than a day or two and building up their expectations unnecessarily. It is cruel. They will very quickly profess their love for you and it will drain you emotionally. Most of the girls on PL will fuck you if you are respectful and treat them nicely. You don't need to ask. It's just understood that if she agrees to come to your hotel (most will) then sex is on the menu. She's certainly not going to your room to pray. I'm not sure how many lonely white men actually meet their future wives on PL, but it would be a miniscule percentage.
Now for the review.
1. Overall the app is less clunky than before. Maybe the Thai owners of the site decided to spend some money in development to make it easier to use. PL's search facilities always sucked. You couldn't search for many cities eg Dumaguette and Cebu would bring up girls anywhere in the very large province.
Cupid has a Most Popular section. Most are hotties but get '000's of messages per day, may or may not see your message and often are straight up scammers.
Cupid must have robbed market share. They are seeing easily an extra 20% online.
I'd agree that hotties are now dropping their standards enough to even make contact with me too. Must be desperate times. 😁.
No need to ask for nudes. Those that don't will be turned off and those that do will quickly offer. Often sending unsolicited samples.

Dating site conquest. Well, not really a conquest. After some chat in the dating site a week before Manila arrival, she was just another phone number. Upon arrival and phone txt contact we set a date to meet one evening and ended up at a resto / bar for live band in Malate. Nice gal. You never know how these meetings will go or end up. My first trip to Phil, I had one play the religion card. I let her stay the first night because it was late. I thought it was going to be a waste of the night. Concur. While foreigner ladies who move to the US retain much of their culture (food, language preferences, etc), they quickly Westernize. Usually big age difference is a no-no, and quick sex also..... I don't know about USA, but here in Canada is abit different. I do agree that if you are looking for a filipina younger than you by 25 or 30+ years is very hard to find that, but if you are looking for a filipina 10 to 15 years younger than you is very doable, last year I had a couple of filipinas 10+ years younger than me (10 yrs and 12 yrs) I lost one of them when I came back from my 8 months trip, she has a BF now. But is fine, is not hard to find filipinas here.
I think even finding a filipina 20 yrs younger might be possible, but I wouldn't recommend it, because one: she might leave you later on for a younger guy (if she is only with you because of your money or security), and two: you got to be looking for a serious relationship, most of those girls who would accept a 20 years gap will be desparate looking to have a family. Like the girl I lost, she has a Canadian boyfriend now who is 47 yrs old and she is 29 (18 yrs difference, but the guy looks young).
