I hope you have had a chance to make the required renovations for Spider's arrival.

1. Install a revolving door on his room to allow for rapid exchange of chicas.
2. Upgrade the electric motor to allow for a quicker opening of the gate for the taxis bringing all his chicas in.
3. Complete the lobby bathroom so that Spider doesn't have to waste time with chicas wanting to clean up in his room when he is finished.

I would have to agree that VIP is very nicely done. Although it would be nice to have a few more doors installed so one could take a "SHIT" with a little privacy once in a while. Ford and I have never stayed at either, and I am quite confident we never will, but I would not hesitate to recommend either place from what I have seen of the two. I think you could find Mongers to hang with at both locations. But I must say, we have met the Aussie twice now, and both times he welcomed us to Mansion festivities. Well Spider and I arrived last night. As promised we had three girls waiting. Unfortunately Spider got into an early tongue wrestling match with one girl and he was not able to take on the duo. I reported earlier about our arrival and our dealings with the 3girls that were arranged. Our plans for day 2 were a little uncertain. I had some time this trip to explore the area around the VIP. In my previous visit I thought it was a little out of the way. I also did not know where to go for light meals. Mostly needing taxi service to get anything. But this time I walked around the area quite a bit with some other guests. There is a quite a bit close by. Even Spider was able to figure things out!

When you exit VIP, cross the street, turn left and walk about a block. There are a few stores and a taxi stand here. One is a little mercado with all the essentials you will need for your room. They also have sandwiches prepared. I believe they will also deliver to the VIP, but the walk is good. Two doors down is a bakery and sandwich shop. I got a great hot sandwich and a Coke for under 7,000. It was pretty big. The taxi stand is always stocked during the day, but they are not there during the night.

Keep walking past down the hill to the main intersection. Turn left and walk to the next main intersection. Avenue Pobledo. On your right will be La Frontera mall. It is not really a mall but a two story shopping plaza. Many little shops and restaurants. The prices in the stores here seem high. But it is convenient. The restaurants are decent, food court style. Also two different ATM systems. Bancolombia is one. I don’t remember the name of the other but it gives 500,000 per day.

If you turned left on Avenue Poblado and went about a half mile down, there is a plaza with four nice moderately priced restaurants. There is Italian, Mexican, Wings and one other I did not try. All have nice outdoor seating and a lot of beautiful people eating there. Dominos Pizza is also located there. They deliver to VIP.

Oviedo Mall is to the right on Avenue Poblado. It is a brisk walk but enjoyable in comfortable shoes. You can also catch a bus in front of La Frontera Mall or take a cheap taxi ride directly from VIP. There are two full service supermercados attached to the mall. All the rest of the amenities of any normal mall, including a cinema and many ATM’s. There is a gymnasium in the area as well. This is also the location of three money exchanges. A real good food court. Way better than the malls in the U.S. Really great for chica watching. There is a small casino here but I did not try it.

There is a new well lit sign on top of the gate at VIP. This makes it much easier for taxis to find it. If you remember that you are close to La Frontera mall you will have no trouble giving directions to anyone to get there. Several of the chicas we brought over had not been there before, but all were able to get there, even with our limited Spanish.

You are right about the street girls. We were actually turned down by some girls outside of San Diego. They did not want to leave the area. Thus we headed to Mayorista. It was pretty late so I think they were willing to end their night. I negotiated with my girl first it was 80k for two hours plus taxi fare back. She then helped recruit the other girls.

i just like the atmosphere of the place . other than cockblocker the guests were hot shits and albert and the staff were excellent. there are some things that need improvement. such as a large tarp covering most of the back yard from the buildings.more pressure on the water front.the fridge is stocked,but this was a problem for me cause i didnt care for what was in it. plus a bottle of baileys got lifted by one of the sws. but no big deal ,live and learn. so nothing to serious. maybe a large plasma tv in the poolhall rooom.
i recomend this place to anyone. the chicas love it . plus alberts little helper plays dj and pours the drinks . its funny cause hes in alot of my pics with the chicas we had over. this is a great place and thank you ALBERT .

Just wanted to let you guys know that we are finally two weeks from finishing our Hotel.

We now have fifteen rooms totally finished marble floors, new lighting beautiful views nice closet area, airconditioning, own bathrooms top of the line.

Living area:

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, I respect everybody and I don’t want to get in a battle with anybody what I do want to do is set things straight.

Myself and kevin are the owners and yes we do have dual citizenship, Kevin did buy the house where myself and him have established a partnership which in the chamber of commerce you can find a copy of that for those of you who are interested and yes we are 50 - 50 partners in this venture, I know kevin for about 25 years not only are we best of friends we have had partnerships before example in Baltimore we had a used car dealership named Affordable Imports Inc.

We are also in the process of opening a big Martini Bar in parque lleras and also a Real estate Company and yes we will be 50 -50 partners and all of our ventures.

Now let me explain some things about our Hotel we have been working very hard to make it the best it is aa Hotel and we do have a hotel permit, We are so legal that not like other places we do have a huge sign so that people can see and find our place are we a *****house no we are not.

If you want to stay in a sterile white non immigrant environment than I have a place in North Dakota for you? If we are ALL missing your point the real issue is you are not making your point very well. Did you RTFF before you go. I did a review of VIP a little while back. I EXPLICITLY said that if you were looking for a place with chicas hanging around all day THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. So how is there any misconception?

I also said if you need assistance in finding chicas Albert will help you with that. The pictures that Albert uploads on this site are not BS. They are girls from parties at the VIP. Albert inviites them over as a service to the guests. Any negotiations from that point forward are up to the guest. I found Albert and Kevin to be very accomodiating when staying there at THE VIP recently. They were under construction but overall a great place to stay.
If I were to offer any suggestions it would be to become alittle more organized as far as condiments for drinks,snacks,etc and make it part of the room price. I would add a ice machine that is available close to the large living room and also maintain a bar there with glasses with mixes for making drinks.

I would prefer to be able to tap into a regular stable of girls rather than have a escort agency called. All is all a good time and I like what they are doing there and my guess is that once complete it will be a great place. I woulld go back without hesitation.

Kevin, Albert,s partner has a great eye for design and I like what he is doing. He is also very open and helpful.

Now that is a fair statement. That is what you should have written. It's my opinion that VIP has a better business idea than the Mansion solely on this reason alone. It's my opinion, as I've never stayed at either, never seen either, and never met anyone from either place. Could they both be extermely successful or both fail miserably? Of course. But don't confuse the 2. One is a hotel that sure.. caters towards trying to please extranjeros and they know the extranjeros are there for 1 reason... to get laid. The other is the same, but they have their own chicas there and proabbly have favorites that they invite over regularly for their guests. Both places seem like they will help you find what you are looking for and both places seem to have management that enjoys going out to party with their guests. And hey, that is probably the reason both places will stay open for many many years if they both do in fact succeed for years. A business is only as good as the employees that run it and work for them.

One of the reasons I spoke up when I saw your post is because I have never stayed there thus I'm an outsider just like you trying to gain info from reading the board just as everyone else. It's not really fair for owners of an establishment to get into a sparring match with someone that is posting false information. Thus I think Albert took a very "diplomatic" approach with his response in order to answer some of these questions that for some reason, you and only you seem to have gotten confused. I've never seen anyone else on the Medellin boards posting about Albert lying about his nationality or what his business provides. My suggeston is to just reread all the posts in his section and the Medellin section and it will become clear to you.

And again... Colombia is better off without whiners and people that are so paranoid about little things. As others have posted numerous times. you have to take everything in Colombia with a grain of salt. In Colombia the people that are better at just relaxing and know how to just let minor issues bounce off of them are the people that are really going to enjoy their stay in Colombia much more. Trust me. I've gone through all the issues with taxistas, and bad service etc. My advice.. while in Colombia live like a Colombian and expect that Colombian practices will happen to you just as they happen to everyone. After all, the Colombians get poor service in restaurants and the taxistas try to rip them off and pass off fake bills to them as well. Why should it be any different for us? And one last point. I still don't know why you posted that remark in the Medellin forum about "Maybe not all arabs are out to kill Americans." What is your point. You do realize that there are many many more people of middle eastern descent in Colombia than there is of North American descent. Did that bother you on your trip? Spider and I were at the VIP last week. The improvements and remodeling continue. There is now an automatic ice machine in the kitchen. This is very handy as we did most of our nighttime mongering on site. A few drinks and some dance music always set the mood. Albert is right, this was added based on Spiders earlier request. Good job in listening to customers requests. I have made similar suggestions to Albert and Kevin on how to improve the experience and they are always addressed promptly.

The new rooms are finished. The decor and barbecue are almost done. The only holdup was due to some rain which delayed some stone work. I look forward to the bbq area becoming active. This will be another great place to entertain.

The front gate has been replaced with a very classy wrought iron entranceway. This really dresses up the front. I love the chicas looks on their first visit.

Kevin has been directing a complete makeover of the common area. It is looking very rich. Just waiting for that Plasma!

Spider and I got a tour of VIP 2 which is very close to Parque Lleras. This is being done in a similar decor to all the new areas of VIP 1. Good idea to maintain to the same look. It is in a great location for walking around. The facility is smaller but still has a nice common area, bbq, bar and a jacuzzi. When the new master suites are added I might be taking up residence here. The regular rooms are ready to go.

We all negotiated the rates independently with the girls. They ranged from 100k, 150k to 200k. Time spent from one quick pop to several hours to TLN. A lot of this had to do with the relationship developed with the girls. None of them were in a rush. The quicker pops were still at least ann hour. There were just some nights when Spider and PBH were in a tag team contest.

Hey guys, I just stopped by with another buddy of mine from the states to hangout with Albert at his Freshly Remodeled VIP #2! I have to say I personally would have a hard time not bragging if I had completed such an EXTREME MAKEOVER like this project he just completed!

Albert did this one right! I like the fact that he started with the American way of thinking first, in regards to "curb appeal" The new yard looks fantastic! It really shows he thought this one through. Then again I don't know why anyone in their right mind would put tons of money, energy and time into a remodel and NOT change the entrance, front yard / "curb appeal".

Upon entering the door I was pretty amazed to see the final project. Before it was pretty dingy and almost felt like I was in a cave. Now it is completely opened up to include and a new extra large window in the 2nd living room area, along with a modern completely stocked mini bar (would've liked a drink but had a touch of the flu), beautiful built in fish tank, walls painted white to insure a modern look. All new cream colored furniture in both the 1st & 2nd large living room / common areas.

I can go on and on but I think its just best to head back over there today and take photos and post. Too bad I don't have before and after photos.
