As for law enforcement and laws pertaining to photos on the net I am sure there is no repercussions to date but that could change. All the pic posters here could be targets of the authorities if things were to go in that direction. We all just assume that the freedoms we have enjoyed (all our lives) will always be available but change is moving fast and the direction is against the western male. So the jury is still out as far as posting uncensored pics here or elsewhere. There is a lot of grey area w / pics, bargirl pics, clothed pics, soft porn, xxx, there are many types of pics we enjoy. If the girl is fully clothed in a bar then for me it is alright to post unless requested otherwise. There are many types of photos. They don't have to be xxx all the time to be entertaining.
Is this uncensored pic paranoia everywhere? No, it is not. Uncensored pics are the best kind, similar to condom or no condom.
I hope the guys here can find an artistic way around blatant censoring SOMETIMES. I will post the same type of photos I always do when I get on the ground in the PI. The environment will probably be a little harder (not much) to get the shots I want. One last thing. If the lady request that I keep the photos private then I will share w / complete blurring but if that is not asked for I will censor much less.

I believe there are one or two very remote exceptions to this rule but I'm not going to go try to dig up my old torts casebook to find them. Here in Philippines the 100% truth, even if witnessed by Jesus Christ, is NOT an affirmative defense. Bottom line is that you can utter a 100% truthful statement to a third party, and be charged criminally and/or sued in the civil courts. WR is probably right, that the main targets of the Cyber Libel statute will be opposing political people, but as a foreigner, I'm really going to have to bite my tongue sometimes. This statute can be painted with a very wide brush.

If you just read a pinays Facebook page you can see enough shout outs, about people, claims of being stalked etc, posters showing text message from people they don't like. Yet I doubt there will be much action.

In this venue and in others, the pm mechanism permits us to exchange vital contact information with others we trust. There may be an advantage in this for the women as well. That is, those men whom they trust to take photos become safety filters when the men choose selectivity among other men who seek contact information. Note the frequent replies on the board by photo posters when others ask for contact information: "I don't post contact information on the board, but I will pm senior members whom I trust."
Considered in this way, some guys eliminate themselves from pm sharing channels because of the attitudes they express on the board.

I also have Photoshop but that's like swatting flies with a nuke. The best I've seen are apps. There are a few for IOS that are perfect. View the pic, rub your finger over the area you want to blur and your done. But that necessitates moving from PC to Phone and back. That's a lot of work. There is no Zoner for Mac. I also have ACDSee and it's great for editing pics and much less bloated than GIMP of PS but it sucks at blurring. Someone recommended Picasa so I just downloaded it. Will report back if it works well. The things us mongers are subjected to! .

Sorry to hear you have been the victim of childish immature actions from other members. You should name and shame the person (s) - handle name I mean. So we all know and be cautious of this chap. I have suggested it before and I will suggest it again. There should be a VIP Advanced Membership Group open only to board members who have made significant contributions to the ISG and exhibited a certain amount of integrity over time. I would not have raised the issue, but since RK did, I think this is a good conversation to have on the board. So given the generally superior quality of the photo forum on the Phils board, what are its effects on the general tone on the Phils board, on the quality of information shared in other threads, on respectfulness among posters, and so on? Or do I have the causal order wrong: does a tone or respect on the Phils board more generally contribute to a higher quality photo forum?
So the short-term effect from having a high-end photo forum is a lot of prurient stimulation. But is the long-term effect a preoccupation with the old in-out, in-out that does not in the longer term help sustain a healthy environment between foreign mongers and sweet young Filipinas? I do not have answers to these questions. I welcome others' thoughts.

Actually one of the senior members here gave an explanation in a thread not too long ago. I believe it was something to the effect that in their language there is no distinction between masculine and feminine when used in the context you have illustrated.
And yes it drove me crazy for awhile as well, however it does not seem to matter how uneducated or educated the person is. So I have just accepted it, read between the lines, and try to put what they are saying in the context they are giving it to me in.

I think a very quick primer on population statistics will show you that the chances of encountering a "girl that you know" is always very small unless you go back to the same place all the time.
There are 48.5 million females in the Philippines (2013 census).
If you assume 5% are "working girls", then your pool is 2. 5 M, but, IMHO, that's too high.
1% of the female population means the pool is approximately 500,000 girls. Odds are pretty low you will see one you know.
