Arrival
Caught the 9:50 Penguin ferry at the Harbour Front Centre but arrived early as advised to check in at least 1/2 hour before departure and within 90 mins arrive at Tg Balai.
I chose to sit on the open top deck and although a calm, glorious day, it's advisable to sit as close to the front as possible to avoid the sea spray. Coming back the boat was smaller and packed full of mongers so forced to sit outside, the sea was very choppy so ended up soaked in sea spray.
Paid the Visa on Arrival VoA and went 'head to head' with the marauding sharks. Moto sharks is an apt name, these clowns literally 'circle' you until you can walk fast enough to escape their clutches.
I chose to walk to the hotel, turned left, left, right and walked for about 10 mins. As mentioned by other brothers, it's quite an experience. Tg Balai is classic 3rd world town, undeveloped, run down and chaotic. If you have fair skin, wear tee shirt, shorts, hats or sunnies or any of the above, you will stick out like 'dog's balls' and receive plenty of stares and attention.
However after fighting my way thru the crowded streets I accidentally find the hotel, if you check the photo, it's basically a shop front wedged between other buildings.
Villa
After check in, the hotel keeps your passport and return ticket andy you pay at the end of stay, I approach the receptionist and request money exchange and Villa. Bellboy takes me by ojek to a money exchange down the road, swap SGD 110 to cover the anticipated activities.
Gabion Hotel driver takes me to Villa, about a 15 min drive one way from the hotel. Villa is a good name for the place, it's kind of like Spanish villa or village with wall to wall shops full of girls.
The driver stops at the start of the block and I begin my assault, with my night vision goggles and hottie targeting system, I go house to house, quickly scanning the selection. With about 10-15 girls in each house, you must be quick because like 'bees to honey' the slaves will swarm you, tugging and grabbing any piece of you they can get their hands on.
I eventually hit House 8 and to my surprise and delight I see the sex legend, Nia 23. She is heavily reported in the old ISG forum but normally works out of Rukko. I ask the Okt the price and he notices the Gabion car and driver behind me, the driver like close ground support trailed my progress around the villa. Okt quotes 200K, I ask for 180 and he offers 190, I couldn't be bothered breaking down 50K so accepted 200K.
The fact Nia has my left hand stroking her breasts and her hand rubbing my crotch doesn't influence my decision. Based on my research, I already know she is secure, clean and good but I ask for good service and also get Okt card in case of problems. He asks my room number and confirms delivery in 10 mins. The driver takes me back with a massive grin on my face.
Note no hand over of money.
Experience
Well, she is as good as reported in other forums. Although we can't communicate she puts plenty of energy and gusto into her work with total GFE. It's very realistic so hard to tell if she's 'actually' enjoying herself. However she admired my DATY skill and told me it's shoik so I know that's a compliment plus she seem disappointed when I could not blow my load.
I shot her 3 times with 2 x half shots. BBBJ, DATY, 69, GFE, CIM but doesn't enjoy it, photos / videos included in the price.
WIR: Yes, but have to try some other hot brown sugars or Chinese Indo first.
Departure
Indo is a very bureaucratic by nature but follow these steps to avoid the hassles I went thru.
1. Go Early - hotel driver will go to the ferry about 30 mins before departure, if the ferry is 'full' they immigration officials / ferry operator may refuse passage.
2. Agent Voucher - go to the Penguin / Indo Falcon office on either side and pay 10K for a some departure voucher, green border slip.
3. Seaport Tax - pay 10K at Customs / Immigration to get a rubber stamp on the ferry ticket.
Hotel driver drops me off at the ferry terminal with 30 mins to spare. I go to Immigration who blabber or mutter something about Seaport Tax, no idea what it's about but pay it, then they mutter about something else (Agent Voucher), one of their guys takes my passport and starts to walk off with it.
I get very nervous so grab it off him and make my way to the boat gate. At the last Immigration check, they kick up a stink because I don't have the Agent Voucher, I have no fucking idea as did not read anything about it on ferry website or on the forums.
Anyway one of the officials asks for money, I give him SGD 2 thinking it will solve the problem, but no he drags me back up to the ferry operator outside Immigration. The operator on RHS going to the terminal tells me the ferry is full.
I completely lose it. I said you must be fucking kidding me, I have a flight to catch, I'm catching the 11:00 ferry and next one is 17:00. I say the ferry is not full when I try to board so WTF is going on.
Little did I know the official noticing the gravity of the situation went to the ferry operator on the LHS and obtained a voucher and called his mate on the dock to hold the boat for me. We grab the voucher, run thru all layers of Immigration and I sprint onto the boat.
Things to Do Differently Next Time
- Go with other mongers or local lingo speaking partners, not due to security concerns but to chat and exchange notes during downtime and potentially rotate girls. The girls don't speak English and even with stunners, without dialogue it's a bit monotonous banging the same girl over and over again.
- Do homework on sourcing Chinese Indo girls. I noticed the visiting Chinese mongers mostly used Chinese Indo slaves. I reckon it's worth exploring the option as the Chinese Indo slaves are hot.

- On departure, go early to cover the expected hassles at immigration and keep some IDR to cover the voucher and tax costs mentioned below.

Dinner - 83,000 includes mee goreng x 2, BBQ chicken and clove cigarettes at place directly opposite Gabion
Drinks - 15,000 green tea delivered by hotel room service
Late Night Snack - 40,000 rice, BBQ chicken, salad for 2
Nia - 200,000 + 100,000 tip + 20,000 ojek fee at END not START of service
Agent Voucher - 10,000 (Sing residents pay it)
Seaport Tax - 10,000 (seems like a foreigner tax as Sing residents don't pay it)
Hotel Complimentary Services
- Ferry drop off and presumably ferry pickup
- Currency exchange (probably an affiliate of the hotel but they offered market rates and exchanged by a good looking Chinese Indo girl)
- Trip to Villa
- Breakfast (nasi lemak and black coffee)

Conclusion
Just imagine going to the middle of nowhere and picking up a raw, native girl to fulfil your sexual needs as and when you please for the price of peanuts! That's Tg Balai because there is SFA to do apart from banging the crap out of your slave.
In all seriousness Balai is a good option for people time rich and money poor.

Although I agree that it is good to have guide. I feel if one stay in hotel such as maxi or padi mas, there is little need for driver guide since hotel provide driver. And it is quite expensive to have such service- food comission, girls comission ++. In fact, one trip by two ppl for a 3 days 2 nite would have provide the driver one month salary of an average balai's worker!
Anyway that is my two cents' view.

At 7 p.m. he insisted that one of his staff drive me back to my hotel, the Maxmillian, as the area around his hotel was unsafe. Personally, I did a lot of night walking, but some areas are pretty dark.
There are about ten "guides" who operate out of the ferry terminal and offer taxi service, girls, a hotel etc. If you arrive with a taxi, a commission is paid by the hotel to the driver -guaranteed. Hence, book by phone in advance. There is no need to use a guide to go to Villa; use a hotel taxi if possible. The girls at Villa and Ruko went for R180,000 LT in April 2006 and the quality was decent. If you go with a guide, you're facing an extra R70,000 to R100,000. The girl I booked had a good attitude. You can also check out a booking place called KFC (if I remember correctly) not far from the terminal.
Concerning the Hotel Maximillian:
The staff are pleasant and they are the only positive thing going for this hotel. The cafe food is passible. The front desk has no safety deposit box and my room was overpriced at Sing$38. Compared to Batam, the rooms are expensive in my opinion. Avoid the karaoke lounge on the 6th or 7th floor. They charged me for five beer and I ordered two (one for me, and one for a hostess. I disputed the R80,000, but to no avail, as the billing wasn't clear at the time. It was deliberate. There were no "lookers" in this KTV and even the mami was pushing for me to buy her a drink. I left sober after 20 minutes.
If I were to return, I might try the Rasa Sayang or Padi Mas, the latter a classier hotel.
I'm bule and not easily rattled, but my comfort level was not high in this city, unlike in Batam. This is a single activity town. Have a good time and watch your ass.

What you say is correct. For two or more people a guide makes sense. Stephen Raj is travelling solo I believe. If it is one's first time in T. Balai and one has no "previous relationship" with a guide, it may end up costing you a lot, hence spoiling the fun.
It's more fun as a group tour.

But does Hotel Gabion offer driver to drive you to Villa & Ruckko? But is hotel gabion room condition old? I stay in Rasa Sayang before. Their room condition is a bit too old.
I do agree in some way that having a driver is good. In fact I use driver before to go beach & waterfall. And I agree 100% on not paying any tips to the guide for all his services. :)

who bringing u there, other wise it should be around 200,000 rupiah

i dont know about leaving from kukup from malaysia
from singapore the first ferry leaving is 8.00 am harbour front
the last ferry is 6.30am indo time from balai.
u should reach balai about 10.00 am singapore time, i guess u could
go straight and pick up a gal, bring her to the hotel, have fun
and leave on the last ferry from balai to singapore.
like i say is a rush but should be no problem.

yes it is true,but not to worry, just smile and walk away
cherry trip better have a quide, let him make a little money
no big deal. after a couple of trips u know the place u can
do it solo. but it still can be done alone.
when u come out of the terminal, turn right walk pass all the sharks
turn left, there will be alot of motor cycle taxi, ask him to
take u to hotel maxi or gabion, give him 10,000 rupiah. and from
this road there are lots of hotels, cheap ones, average one or
like maxi a bit expensive. check in and ask the hotel driver to
take u to the joints. there u are easy
me i like hotel gabion, they got ESPN and STAR SPORTS
and i have special rate of 100,000 rupiah for the small room
singapore 18 dollars thats cheap.
carry just enough money for the trip and a little spare about
singapore 250 for one night and 350 for two nights
leave u credit card at home.

it is going to be crowded, i dont recommand going
1. the price of the will go up
2. hotel will be full no discount
3. most of the gals have gone back home for the holidays

I am a "white guy" and I don't know about the Riau Islands. My first visit to TG Balai will not be until late November. If it as you say, I will depart very quickly to Batam via the local ferries.
As far as girls favoring Farangs (or Bules) vs. Asians in BKK or Pattaya, my experience has been diffenent than yours. I've been in GoGos in BKK and Pattaya where Asians (primarily Japanese) are "favored" by the girls over the white guys because they think the Asians will pay more and that they think Asian men have smaller dicks. (This is stupid stereotyping and quite prevalent in Thailand.) Many of the high end massage palors won't even accept farangs or charge them twice as much for the service provided by the girls.
I have introduced a couple of my Asian friends from the states to the LOS. In both cases the guys were swarmed by the girls like bees to honey. They had a great time.
If you are available during my visit (I well spend part of the time in BKK and Pattaya on this trip), I would be more than happy to share experiences with you there and I guarantee you "won't feel out of place".
BTW. Phillipines - same, same. I've had girls refuse to go with me in Angeles City because I wasn't Asian.

I have posted this report in Other areas and Batam, but since now there is a Tg Balai Threat, I would like to share again this report and update them as well.
Here I would like to share my experience in Tg Balai.
Tg Balai is located near Johor, Malaysia and Singapore. It is a fast growing town on prostitusion business (only). Last 2 years, there were only about 200 girls, now, there are choices of upto 2000 girls plus freelances. On my experience, I have only departed from Kukup Jetty, Johor. The fare is RM70 for return ticket. You need to pay another RM10 at the jetty counter. The earliest Ferry to Tg Balai is at 8.30am (GMT +8.00) and the latest Ferry is at 5.00pm.
Now, back to my full report.
On arrival, I will usually head to my favourite hotel, Maximillion. There are decent hotels in Tg Balai. To name a few, Padimas, Paradise, Rasa Sayang and Maximillion. Maximillion hotel is the newest among all at that time, now there's newer hotels like Palapa and Wiko. The rate is somewhere about Rp 220,000 for a night for a standard room. After checking in and leaving my baggage in the room, i will head straight to get the Girls. There are 2 popular places to get them. Vila (Villa) and Ruko (Rocko, hmm!! reminds me of that popular porn guy). Prices are the same range for both places. Depending on how new is the girl. Usual range is from Rp180,000 - Rp250,000. If you were to come by a shark (guy that brings you around from your departure at the terminal), the prices are higher by Rp50,000 - Rp 70,000 due to the commissions. I usually take the hotel taxi, why? because hotel taxi drivers are forbidden to receive any commission from the brothels or they will get fired.
There are about 30 houses to choose from. Each house has about 30 girls. After paying for the girl, you will head back to the hotel first, the girl will come shortly. Remember to buy condoms as they do not provide condoms. Unless you are willing to take the risk. It's easy to get condoms since all the shops are closeby the hotels. When the girl arrive, do your thang!!.
At night, activities are OK. 2 famous discos in Tg Balai are Santana and Bravo. Don't know until what time it is because there is once i left Bravo at 4am and the music is still pumping. For Karaoke, i recommend in Wiko, where there is rooms for privacy. In Maximillion there are also Karaoke on the top floor, but it is an open concept.
I usually prefer Karaoke as night activity. This is because, when you go to disco's, the girls will oftenly want extacy pills for themself which costs Rp100,000. This usually break the mood if you do not let them because they will have that frustrated look on their face all night.
Next morning, the girls usually leave at about 8am. It is common for you to give tips. The normal rate for tips are Rp100,000. Let's say if you want the girl to stay until noon. You have to pay an extra Rp100,000. I usally do not extend. I will wait at my hotel room door after my girl left and see other people's girl walking by to go back. If I see a girl that is to my taste, i would offer a ST. It will cost RM100,000 for ST. Rather than paying to extend your girl till noon and the same pussy, might as well i pay the same amount for another pussy. Hehehe!
I usally catch back the 1pm ferry. That's all i can think of writing.

I received several query from other bro in this forum regarding the safety and situation in Tg Balai during puasa month. Frankly I have never spend any puasa month in Tg Balai but if u can take other places in Indonesia as a yardstick eg. Medan or Jakrta, i can tell you that the situation is quite boring during the day. All night outlet will closed down especially karaoke centre, bar, massage parlour. But Kofa did told me that activities in Rukko and Villa still continue. Maybe they will not dare to allow the girl to go out wearing explicit dress . All activities will be confined in your own hotel room.
Regarding the cost let me put the breakdown like this:-
a) Transportation
i. Bus Mayang Sari from KL to Pontian = RM 20

This totally depens on you own appetite..For me I am more comfortable ordering room service at hotel. Roughly around RM 40 per day for two person
(RM 40 x 2 day) = RM 80
e) Miscellaneous
Just for contigency prepare RM 100
Grand Total for 3 days 2 nite in Tg Balai = RM 738

There should not be any problem if you want to go to the beach with the girl. I suggest you take a guide, this will be helpful because going to the beach is like 30 minutes away from town and the hotel taxi's would not drive you there.

Having said that, she might very well appreciate and enjoy a drive around the island and a meal. This is just my impression as a Caucasian who made one solo trip to T. Balai. Some guys might be able to pull it off.

Yes, I agree I must have a guide. I don't think I will have a problem with locals staring at me. I don't consider that a safety problem. A bunch of locals chasing me down the street or beach with clubs and machetes is what I consider a safety issue. I don't expect that will be the case.
Actually, I am more concerned about the girl with regards to the staring thing which I suspect will occur. I don't want to be disrespectful to her or the people of TG Balai during my visit. But, I do want to see more than the inside of my room during my visit. If I can share some fun with the girl, that would make the visit that much better.

Nice to get your perspective on this series of questions.
I know that TG Balai isn't the LOS or the PI. That's why I am including it on my itinerary during this trip. I want to visit a new places and have a little adventure and to experience different cultures. BKK, Pattaya, Phukett, Manila and Angeles City are fun but not an adventure to me anymore. After 3 or 4 days I start to get bored with these places. Never thought I would get to that point, but I have done so.
I suspected that swiming suits would not be a typical wardrobe item with the girls at Villa. But, it was a question worth asking.
From reading thousands of posts here and other forums I have learned that I will not be able to verbally communicate with the girls. That's ok. I have had girls in the LOS and the PI who could speak virtually no English. Hopefully a guide, some sign language and lots of smiles will help me overcome this difficulty.
You are correct to say I will stand out because I am white. I am also almost 6 foot tall. That won't help either. I'm extremely low key and polite. But, as you say, I am white. Nothing I can do about that. I wish I could wave a magic wand and make myself look Asian during this portion of my trip. But, I can not. So I will just try my best to be respectful of the people of TG Balai.
I think TG Balai is going to be the highlight of my trip to Asia. It is going to be so diiferent. So it will be a real fun adventure for me.

You are better with an English-speaking guide. There is a tour guide and minibus driver who hangs around the ferry terminal who speaks excellent American English. He had apparently lived in Califormia for a few years. I don't recall his name, but he should be easy to find. He drove me to Villa one evening. You will have to be very specific about the terms of hire etc. He is well known to the staff of the Maximillian and is usually accompanied by an assistant. Many of the guides hang out at a restaurant very near (2 minutes walk to the left) to the terminal exit.

do bear with me for my super duper long fr. this fr is intended for 1st timers like me who want to have a very good idea on how things will likely be on their 1st trips. some info might not be 100% accurate but i will try my best to paint a picture using my own experience and encounters.
before i start on my fr here is a few tips for 1st timers like me:
1.always book your tickets 1 day in advance by emailing/faxing them the booking form to avoid disappointment (they will also help you fill out the arrival card so less hassles). to find out more about how to book just google "indo falcon" or "penguin" do also note that only indo falcon ferries operate on weekdays.
2.pre-arrange a good guide to pick you up at the jetty to make your trip more comfortable. be reminded that balai is a place whereby there is an equal chance of losing your valuables to either a thug or a policeman. from the minute you cleared immigrations, you will be swarmed by people offering all sorts of services to you and unless you are a seasoned traveler to this part of the world, the level of discomfort is pretty unbearable.
3.always change your currency at balai as they offer way better rates but bring along a little rupiah (50k or so ought to do it) in event of emergencies. on average, you will never have to spend more than sgd300 for a 2d1n trip and that is coming from someone who spends a lot on useless stuff.
4. when selecting girls, always ask and agree on the refund procedures. some offer exchange others offer portion of money back. always take the latter option.
5. deposit all valuables with the hotel including your wallet. i just stuffed all my rp into my pockets, keeping spare change in one and big notes in the other.
6. treat the girl with respect and kindness, most of them are not in this business by choice but rather victims of circumstances. they are human beings with emotions and most of them do show their appreciation through their own methods.

woke up at 5am in the morning excited as a sex-starved teenager going out for his first date. was supposed to pick up my buddy at 6am before heading out to habourfront for the 8am ferry.
alas.…. last minute disaster struck, home minister woke up and expressed her last minute disapproval of my trip. oh no! i had planned this trip for more than a month and i sure as hell ain't gonna back out last minute. with quick wits and lots of pacifying, managed to leave home at 6.30am.
pick up my buddy and we reached the indo falcon check-in at 7.15am collected our tickets and proceed to check in. (just follow the single-males crowd and you will find your way eventually) journey will take about 1.5hrs but balai is an hour behind singapore. felt a little funny as the boat was filled with males aged 40 and above some clearly above 60 (buddy and me being in the 20s range) we had notified kofa (our guide) of our arrival the day before. tried to call kofa midway through the journey but was unable to reach him. started to panic…..
reached balai at 8.30am, cleared immigrations and desperately trying to locate kofa from a sea of touts. backed ourselves into a corner and call him several times while my buddy fend off all the approaching touts, 1of them claiming to be a kofa’s friend. ignored everyone and kept calling, suddenly an arm grabbed me, looked up and to my relief, kofa! quick introduction, handshake and he lead us to his car. all touts immediately lost all interest in us.
told kofa we wanted a good hotel and asked him about padi mas as we noted it is the only rated (2-star) hotel in balai. he agreed it is one of the best hotels in balai, other recommendations being maxmillion (newer) and himalaya (popular). we decided to take a look at padi mas 1st.
he brought us to view the rooms, a little old but well maintained, clean and spacious. bed is big and comfortable, bath tub is comfortable for 1 lying or 2 sitting. we decided to take up the offer of sgd35 per night (you can pay in sgd) and told the receptionist to confirm our return tickets at 11am the next day. got rooms at 5th floor and thank god there is an elevator. kofa waited downstairs while we dropped our bags and freshen up (i called my home minister and spent 30 mins pacifying her again. kofa waited over an hour with no complaints whatsoever).
do note that opposite padi mas there will be:
- a supermarket to do some shopping (not recommended if you do not intend to pamper the girl)
- a massage place (1hr rp40k in their shop or rp70k in your hotel room)
- a game acarde (good if you intend to revisit your childhood days)
- mcdota (balai’s kfc)
next up, kofa brought us to rukko to “shop”. told kofa we can’t speak the local language, his answer “sign language will do just fine”. well then off we go, i decided to let my buddy choose 1st as this is his virgin encounter with paid sex. we went from house to house viewing girls of all ages, shapes, sizes, looks etc. we concurred that there is something for everyone in balai…
a little info on how the screening process works:
- you enter the house and sit down
- mummy will ask all the girls to sit opposite you and start her selling speech
- if you see any girls you fancy, feel free to ask mummy more about her (if you happen to ask for her age, add 3 to the answer)
- you can ask any of the girls to come closer, sit beside you, stand up, turn around etc
- stand up and walk out at any point if none of the girls match your expectations

- return ferry – sgd46 + rp20k (rp10k paid to hotel to confirm return tickets and rp10k paid at balai ferry counter as seaport tax when returning)
- hotel – sgd35/night
- lunch – rp25k/pax (bak kut teh)
- girl – rp250k + tips (rule of thumb is rp50k min but you are free to give what you feel the girl is worth)
- massage – rp40k/pax (rp70k if you want it in your room)
- acarde – rp10k
- shopping – rp180k (beer, ciggies, toiletries, food, clothes for her baby)
- seafood dinner – rp30k/pax (paid 150k for 5 dishes which fed 5)
- ktv – rp70k/pax (room rate is rp200k for unlimited usage, drinks charged separately)
- guide – kofa does not ask for tips as he earns enough from the commissions the hotel, restaurant, girl, ktv etc he bring you to but it’s still a nice gesture to tip him if you appreciate his services. (rp50k will do just fine)
in total i spent about sgd270 but you can easily make it with sgd200 if you are wiser with your money. thanks for reading :d

My buddy more or less sums up the experience a Newbie will encounter b4 going to Balai, while in Balai and returning home.
I like the hotel room from Padi mas. Its spacious with a king size bed and a decent toilet facilities.
I will skip the island tour experience and focus on the gals part.

Thanks so much for the info. I think I will let Kofa pick me up and take me to the hotel. I made a promise to go with him and I should keep it. If he and/or I are really uncomfortable with the language issue, I could always give him a good tip and ask him to find an English-speaking guide for me via translation with the hotel receptionist (Of course, the hotel may not have anyone who speaks English either). It sounds like it would be a good idea in anycase to have a trustworthly guy like Kofa meet me at the ferry. I will treat him fairly in anycase.

You are better with an English-speaking guide. There is a tour guide and minibus driver who hangs around the ferry terminal who speaks excellent American English. He had apparently lived in Califormia for a few years. I don't recall his name, but he should be easy to find. He drove me to Villa one evening. You will have to be very specific about the terms of hire etc. He is well known to the staff of the Maximillian and is usually accompanied by an assistant. Many of the guides hang out at a restaurant very near (2 minutes walk to the left) to the terminal exit.

As I stated previously, I should give Kofa a shot as I have already made arrangements with him and that is only fair. Also, I don't know how I could find the English-speaking guide before hand. Maybe I could call the Maxi hotel and ask them, but then I still would not know how to cancel with Kofa.

i decided to write this fr as a token of appreciation to others who has given me good guidance on taking a trip to this open secret sex hideout in riau archipelago. travel from kl by bus mayang sari (fare still rm 20) and reached pontian well before 5 am. nothing there and it was raining a bit. took a blue taxi with 3 others stranger who also want to go to kukup.

Before I start on my FR here is a few tips for 1st timers like me:
1.Always book your tickets 1 day in advance by emailing/faxing them the booking form to avoid disappointment (they will also help you fill out the arrival card so less hassles). To find out more about how to book just google "Indo Falcon" or "Penguin" do also note that ONLY Indo Falcon ferries operate on weekdays.
2.Pre-arrange a good guide to pick you up at the jetty to make your trip more comfortable. Be reminded that Balai is a place whereby there is an equal chance of losing your valuables to either a thug or a policeman. From the minute you cleared immigrations, you will be swarmed by people offering all sorts of services to you and unless you are a seasoned traveler to this part of the world, the level of discomfort is pretty unbearable.
3.Always change your currency at Balai as they offer way better rates but bring along a little rupiah (50k or so ought to do it) in event of emergencies. On average, you will never have to spend more than SGD300 for a 2D1N trip and that is coming from someone who spends a lot on useless stuff.
4. When selecting girls, always ask and agree on the refund procedures. Some offer exchange others offer portion of money back. Always take the latter option.
5. Deposit all valuables with the hotel including your wallet. I just stuffed all my Rp into my pockets, keeping spare change in one and big notes in the other.
6. Treat the girl with respect and kindness, most of them are not in this business by choice but rather victims of circumstances. They are human beings with emotions and most of them do show their appreciation through their own methods.

I intend to make a SOLO maiden trip to TB on 9 to 10 Dec 06.
If can find some kaki (buddies) will be good Otherwise looks like got to make some on the ferry. Leaving Singapore at harbour front in the morning say 8 am.
Any tips will be appreciated like contact persons and numbers. Likely to check into Maxi.
Malia Jones intended trip on 13 to 15 Dec are on weekdays and I intend to do an overnight trip. Not sure whether can join him.

I called Gabion hotel and ask them to pick me up at jetty. 10 minutes later and the crowd at jetty has disperse then the driver from gabion pick me up.
After check in (room is spacious paid Rp 75 K) tell driver I want to go to Villa first. There go from one house to another until I meet someone who attracgt my attention. Negotiate with mami, quited Rp 250K and I told her no taxi. The price come down to Rp 180.

Thats wayyy too loonngg of a stay seriously, I stayed a night, and already I wanted to go home:) theres nothing to do except "bonk" and tahts all. ! NO golf or beach nearby, so its safe to say after your bonking, go Bintan not that I hve been there or Batam.

At around mid afternoon on a lazy Tuesday, someone knock on my door. I push the girl off my body, proceed to the door and open it.
"Hello, are you Bamboo Bob and Ichitaka from ISG forum? " I'm Imragi the one that was suppose to meet up you guys on Monday at the HF ferry departure hall to BL. "
Thats how we met up with Bro Imragi. He was with another driver but He got kofa contact number from one of the OKT. He contacted kofa and got our room number. BL is a small community. Everyone seems to got everyone elses contact #
For me and Bamboo bob, its an uneventful trip. Its seems to be the raining season at BL. Our 3 days stay at BL was accompanied by constant raining day in and out. This spolit the mood a little when we were choosing the gals. We stayed at Himaleya on our first night, frankly speaking, the hotel is not up to our standards. The aircon is not working, rooms not really presentable, and there is no minibar in one of our rooms. It does has a really nice and big bath tub.
I booked a gal from Villa 31. 19yo pettie size and a slim and tight body. However, her services really suck to the core. Maybe she is having some problem with her "boyfriend" but that is not an excuse. If fact, this is a Warning to all you guys out there, don't ever book from this villa, their services sucks. Papi don't even offer to replace one for me. !
Anyway, we moved to padi mas on the second day. (we met Imragi there). We are in the "friend friend" status with the female hotel receptionist. She remember us from previous trip. Hehehe. Cute staff. We reckon that Padi mas will be our only option when we visit BL in the future. FYI, it cost about SGD 36 per night.
The second day sexperience was alot better. I got what I want and there is nothing to complain about. Bob and me booked the gal from the same villa. This villa Papi really taught his gal well. Both of us received one of the best BJ we had in BL. They would blow till you asked them to stop. Really! Bob stopped his BJ at around 25mins? Mine at around 20. After the BJ, its the standard stuff.
It is still quite early so 4 of us play cards in bob's room. Which is a mistake.
I ends up losing 200k to bob and the gal! They discounted 50k. But I still paid 150k! Darmit
With the new earned fortune, bob's gal suggested we go massage We have a really nice massage at one of the outlet outside padi mas. Here is the info

There are 2 massage outlet over at padi mas (not hotel related). One outlet is opposite padi mas hotel enterence. We are not referring to this one. DC Jaya is behind that outlet. You just need to follow the road alone MAC Dota, you will find it. Cost about 40k for 2hrs per person. Not sure if they offers special or not. But they do show us the photos for us to select.
All our massage fee was paid for by the bob's gal using the "fortune" she earned. Not a bad gesture. : P
We are planning another trip again. Somewhere around early Jan or mid Jan next year. Me, bob and Imragi will be going. We will post the date once we confirmed everything. Newbies are welcome to join us.

Safely made it back to Singapore.
As for the FR, will only post things that differ from my last FR. (No point repeating the same stuff all the time)
1. Took the second ferry this time round. Arrival was smooth and Kofa was waiting. In his car.
Us: Business good anot
Kofa: Not bad yesterday a gang of 30 came
Us: When they go back
Kofa: Tomorroe
Us: They go Villa already
Kofa: Ya
Us: Sh*t hurry up!
Immediately rush to the hotel drop our bag with the receptionist and made our way to Villa. Scan the WHOLE stretch. Not much high quality girls left. Proceed to Rukko, even worst so double time back. I have no idea whether if this is a one off thing but our idea is that quality dropped a lot if you do not take the first ferry.
2. Decided to change our hotel to Hotel Himalaya. Really bad experience there. Room rate is about IDR30k cheaper than Padi Mas but once you step into the room you can really feel the difference. Furniture looks cheap. Some rooms have mini bar others do not. Same goes for TV channels. Electricity died countless times. Phone died. The list goes on. Would not recommend this hotel to those who do not mind spending a few more bucks (SGD5) for a more comfy stay. We moved to Padi Mas first thing on day two.
3. Went to disco (Bravo), heard news a fire broke out recently blah blah blah (No idea which disco Kofa is referring to). Can confirm Bravo is still intact and functioning. Bravo is nothing to shout about. Drink approx INR20k/beer. It is about 1/5 full when we went at 10pm and till 12am situation did not improve. If you like dancing to techno and having a lot of the dance floor to yourself, disco on a weekday is definitely for you. If you are looking for a cheap alternative to MOS then skip it entirely. Saw ONE stunner (FL) who came to dance in front of us. Think she was trying to get lucky with Lee because his girl is nowhere to be found while mine is shadowing me.
4. It was posted in this forum (or is it the other one) that at the back of Villa (House 30+), there are a few houses owned by the same boss who jack up their prices. Lee and I now confirm that to be true. Lee also got a girl from house 31 (Did not get her name as she do not want to tell). Average girl, early 20s, long hair, high forehead, at IDR330k. This girl has a Singaporean BF who she feels is the love of her life. Anyway from what we know, her BF went MIA so she banged Lee once (so she can persuade him to buy the telephone card thingy) then showed highly bad attitude. Lee did everything humanly and gentlemanly possible (allow her to try finding her BF etc etc) but after disco she refused any type of service hence Lee sent her back. (will let him comment more if he wants) The moral of the story is if you ever venture into that house avoid any girl who fits her description like the plague unless you are that BF of hers.
Now for something non-informative, due to improper planning, we only managed to meet Imragi on our last day but we shared a ferry back and had lunch together. It was a pleasure to meet him and we are in the mist of planning our next trip.
2D 1N weekday trip on January (either 1st of 2nd week) all brothers interested can and should sign up now so we can get the logistics correct this time round.
P.S: Would really like FRs from Lee and Imragi if they have the time :D

Answer was yes so told Lee to book a girl from her villa the next day. I doubt I will ever find anyone who can service me better so struck with her.
As for which villa, Lee and I has agreed not sharing this info to the public manily due to the drawbacks that happened to some other brothers sharing info in the 'other' forum. (News got to the girls eventually and those brothers lost their good service)

1. Walk out of Padi Mas's front door.
2. Make a right and keep on walking till you pass McDota.
3. Make a left AFTER you pass McDota (The place is behind McDota)
4. Head inside the 1st massage place you see.
Owner is a ex-papi at villa who seen it all and decided to move on. Very nice guy. Try the girl in specs, she gives a kickass massage. Extras are available and they do have some individual rooms equipped with showers.

Unable to join you guys this time maybe the next time. The timing isnt right for me. Had engaged Kofa on 8 to 10 Dec 06. Met Bros William Saw and Lee on the same ferry. Hope you dont mind I had asked Kofa for both your tel numbers for future contacts. Really like to go in a small group of 3 or 4. Kofa was very helpful during our trip. We had a massage at Sawadeka at 40K per hour. Service not bad but did not go for the plus plus.

due to work commitments and lack of cheongsters, lee and i decided on only a 2d1n trip.

By the way Hotel Gabion is still the best at 120, 000 rupiah for a standard room, and 160, 000 for a superior room with star sport and ESPN so you can't miss Liverpool vs Chesea or the Australia open tennis

Came back from Balai on Thursday night. My oh my what a wonderful trip it was. Went there with my friend Botak. After all the tips given by sifus in the forum decided not to use guide and thought we can manage on our own. How wrong we were! Regretting now for not taking up Kofa. Here's my FR. Please bear with this long report as this is my 1st visit to Balai.
After planning the trip for more than 1 month finally decided to go on 17/01. Found the forum and did all the research. Waiting for the date was like total agony. We were worried that our trip will not go on as planned due to the rainy season in Johor. Monitored the daily weather forecast. After good review of the weather condition from the media, took the 11.30 p.m. bus on 16/01 from Pudu Raya. My friend picked me up from my house at about 10.00 p.m. and after having a drink at Pudu Raya bus station, boarded the Mayang Sari bus at 11.15 p.m. It was a long journey (about 4 hours) to Pontian. On the way discussed of our plans upon arrival like where to go and what to do. We have earlier decided to stay in Gabion and use the hotel’s taxi service to go to villa. Both of us were pretty much excited on our trip. Took short naps in the bus and reached Pontion at about 4.00 a.m.
Went to a nearby al-azan restaurant and whacked 2 half boiled eggs and a glass of Nescafe. Since it was still early, we hanged out at the restaurant until about 5.45 a.m. Went back to the taxi stand and took the 6.00 a.m. blue taxi. Shared the taxi with 3 other people. It was still dark when we reached Kukup jetty. The journey was about 20-25 minutes. Upon alighting from the taxi, we were immediately greeted by A Oh, who is working with the ferry company. I had no problem handing over our passports to him as some members of ISG has mentioned about him in their posts. He was a very friendly guy. He can be identified by the blue cap baring the number 05. He advised us to have breakfast as it is still early and the ferry can only be boarded at 8.15 a.m. Thus we ordered our drinks first and let A Oh carry on with his task. Botak ordered tongkat ali (energy boosting drink…hehe) and I another Nescafe. Again we felt the time crawling like snail. But what the hack. We waited for more then a month hence waiting another hour or two is not a problem. In fact the waiting period was the sweetest part. The feeling of our adrenalin flushing through our veins was incredible. Our heart beats faster every time we think of the girls we’re going to meet soon.
After submitting our passport, A Oh returned and joined us at our table. He asked us if our journey and laughed at our question if he has ever been to Balai. According to him, he used to go there those days but stopped after getting married…hehe. He used to go there on a one day trip only wearing his shorts n t shirt. He went there several times a week! He also told us that we will not regret our trip. A very encouraging words before we depart. It was about 7.45 a.m. We received our ferry tickets from A Oh’s friend. We paid RM70 respectively. Whacked roti canai and nasi lemak before heading for the money changer just nearby the jetty. The rate there was Rp 2450 for RM1. We only changed RM50 as advised by ISG members as we could get better rate in Balai. After getting the passport checked and paying the boarding fee of RM10, entered the ferry and waited anxiously for our adventure.
The ferry left the jetty at about 8.30 a.m. Botak received the welcoming message from Indonesian network provider. I didn’t as I did not activate roaming..hehe. Reached Balai’s jetty at about 9.30 a.m. Note that journey is +- 1 hour. Upon alighting from the ferry, we headed for the imigresen. After getting the passport stamped and luggage checked, we headed for the front door since we wanted to go to Gabion hotel. The direction was given by bro William in the earlier post. From far I and Botak could hear the sharks shouting at us. We walked out, turn left and headed towards the entrance. Alas, we were blocked by one of the sharks by the name of Bambang (This fellow was the only nightmare of our trip). He pestered us to take up his service even after we told we can manage ourselves and our friends were waiting for us at Gabion.
Me and Botak tried our best to ignore him and proceeded to walk as directed by bro William. Bambang and his friend John kept on following us even after we reached the entrance to Hotel Holiday. We turned left at the entrance and noticed the Balai town. There were shops left and right of us. We kept walking looking out for Gabion closely trailed by Bambang and John. They were giving us all kinds of info about balai and how good their service. They even said that we don’t need to pay them a single cent. What a pain in the ass! After 10 minutes walking, we came to hotel Paragorn, since we wanted to check it out, entered the hotel and requested to see the room. The deluxe room was not bad. Not very big but comfy enough for me and my girl. It had a tv, aircond and long bath and is priced at Rp150K. The gave us a Rp 20K discount and it was priced at Rp 130K inclusive of breakfast. Not a bad deal but we decided to check out gabion before making our decision. Continued walking and reached gabion in 5 minutes. Said hi to the 2 cute looking girls at the reception (wondered if this was ah mei..hehe). The room was a little bit better then paragorn and the Deluxe room was priced at Rp 180k but they agreed to give it to us for Rp 160k. I asked one of the girls if bro William Saw was here and she told me he just came in on Saturday and left on Sunday. What a pity we couldn’t meet the sifu. She also told me that since we knew bro William, she will offer the room for Rp 150k. We were flattered by the offer but decided to look around a little more further before making any decision. By the time we came out, bambang’s disturbance was unbarrable. So we decided to hop on his van as he said we can pay him whatever we want at the end of our journey. First said no need to pay and now whatever we like…fishy.
Bambang took us to Palapah hotel but it was too expensive. Finally decided to to check in Paragorn. Kept out wallets and handphones in the safe deposit box and headed for our room. Promised Bambang will wash up and see him downstairs in 20 minutes. Checked in the room and after cleaning up meet Bambang downstairs. Our first visit was Villa. The drive there was about 10-15 minutes. Me and Botak’s heart beat faster as we approached the place but we kept cool. Soon we reached the place and alighted from the van. Wow…the place was like long row of shop houses filled with girls. We heard girls shouting ‘sayang….sayang marilah sini’. The atmosphere was magnifying. Since I was wearing a cool sunglass and black tshirt, some gals even shouted ‘Shah Rukh Khan at me’…hahaha. What a proud man I am. We went from one villa to another not satisfied with what we see. How to get to Hotel Maxmillian
After leaving the immigration office building entrance, turn left and walk until you see Hotel Karimum. There is an alley running parallel to the hotel compound wall. Take the alley and at the end, turn left. Walk until you see a T junction with a money changer on the opposite side. Cross over and follow that road and it will take you to Hotel Maxmillian or Hotel Gabion.
Picked up a wonderful girl called Ida Agus... fromVilla 14 or 16. Very lively and caring. Treated me as a friend. She gets wet. Kissed me spontaneously numerous times. Took her to the Karaoke in Hotel Maxmillian and enjoyed the session. She sings well and joined me for dancing. I really enjoyed my time as she was a most gracious and polite hostess. Very smooth complexion and lithe body and she was about 5ft 4 inches tall.
When I bought shampoo and other stuff for her, she was interested in a family bar chocolate bar. I asked her to put it in the basket. At the end of the shopping she placed in on the shelf and took the cheaper KitKat and said that the chocolate is too expensive.
Paid only 200000Rp as I went to villa by hotel transport and the mummy acknowledged that I don't need to pay taxi commission.

Thanks!No problems getting into Balai from Singapore. No queue and no hassle. I stayed at a junior suite in Hote Maximillian for S$58 a night. Nice, big and cosy. Two large comfortable armchairs and everything was neat and tidy. On the second morning, they called me at 10 am and told me the room was reserved and I had to shift to another room, something they did not tell me when I first booked in.
I checked out immediately and went next door and booked a suite for S$30. A bit old and not as nice as Hotel Maxi but adequate. Lousy metal frame chairs instead of armchairs. Bed was not as comfortable. They gave a 20% discount for weekdays.
The karaoke in Hotel Maxi was cosy and the small crowd was well-behaved and friendly. That made the evening pleasnt.
Girls-wise, I think Batam has much nicer looking girls. I went there in 2006. Cost RP 300000 compared to RP 200000 to 250000 in Balai. Better shopping in Batam. I went to Balai on a weekay. With the weekend crowd all rushing for the same girls, I shudder at what is left to choose from.
Generally you can do window shopping or go bowling. In Balai other than
karaoke and disco, there is not much else to do. For a change and an overnight stay, it is still enjoyable. Overall it is OK and the prices of things including hotels and meals are cheaper than in Batam. Also the girls(the ones I came into contact with) are less demanding, more pleasant and gracious.

The staff there is very friendly.
The rooms are OK and the price is cheaper than Maxi.
Well you can always check the rooms first!

During my 1st cheonging in Tg Balai on 24-Feb-07, I was staying at Palapa Hotel, which I think is among the good one. I basically walked into a few hotels to check price and their room condition. My finding is below:
1. Maximillian Hotel
New hotel, having very spacious, clean, comfortable and classy rooms. Have big TV, new furniture, nice bathtub, good aircon.
Drawback: too popular, having high demands and usually fully booked.
Sadly speaking, it was full when I was there. Certainly will go for it during my next raiding in Tg Balai.
Deluxe room: about SGD58/night.
2. Palapa Hotel
Nice hotel, having very spacious (can fit orgy party of approximately 4 persons, 2m+2f or 1m+3f), clean, nice room. Have 24” TV, good condition furniture, nice bathtub (can play “yuan yang” with your girls) and normal aircon.
Deluxe room: about SGD42/night.
3. Paragon Hotel
Did not check out the room condition. Just went in to check price.
Have very spacious and nice lobby. Will check out further during my next raiding.
Deluxe room: about SGD30/night.
Suite room: about SGD36/night.
4. Gabion Hotel
It was full when I was there.
Standard room: SGD27/night.
Deluxe room: SGD36/night.
Suite room: SGD45/night
No.5 Karimum Hotel
Just renovated not so long ago. Nice, clean and classy lobby and corridors.
Advantage: very very near to Jetty (just next to it).
Drawback: too far from massage parlors and KTV.
Sorry can’t remember the exact room price, but think the deluxe room is about SGD35/night.
Note: Paragon, Gabion and Maxi are along the same street called Jalan Nusantara.
In addition, did any brother have ever tried “Kai Bao” or poking virgin before?

Okay, seen you are the first timer why not try Holiday Karimun it near the Harbour. It is only one minute walk! And the staff all are friendly. Aabout going around: Not to worry, just ask the hotel lobby counter to call the driver by the name of Ah Huang. He will take you around. If you need more info you can e-mail me. Thank you for the volume of information regarding Kerimun Island (TG Balai). I've pored over the 2500+ posts and processed a great deal of usefull information. Generally I travel to Thailand (Chiang Mai and points North) and/or HKG. A change was in order and after reading all of your posts it's become obvious that I had to make at least one recon run to check out the possibilities. My target date is this June. One week I will allot to this location. The Maximillian Hotel sounds like a reasonable HQ. What should I expect in the way of weather? Will there be any religous holidays during the month of June that might impact my visit? I will offer a complete trip report upon my return home.

Me and my friend have our first trip on 23 March (Fri). Upon enter Balai custom at I think 3-4 pm, one of the off duty officer actually patted my fat tummy while I Q to stamp my passport. Then, he happily told me to go to one corner to talk to him after I had my passport stamp. Of course, I started to pretend to act as if I have been to Balai many times. I didn't care about him and walked off to the exit. Luckily he did not stop me.
As I have read this forum before I went, so we both walked staight to Hotel Gibion. Then we took hotel taxi to villa. At villa we went to every house to look but there is really no beauty at all. We went back hotel empty handed and started to look at massage girls photo offered by the receptionist. Again no target. No choice, we went back Villa again with much lower expectation.
We select our girls. Mine I think is call Eka (20+ yr) while my friend select Nia (19 yr) from another house. Both are the youngest we could find at that time. The rest of the girls we saw really very hard to accept. Either too fat (70 kg+) or too old (30 yr +) or not good looking. As of mine girl service quality I would said good blow job of around 10 min and could speak English. So talked to her in room, take her to disco and overall allow me to f*** her 3 times during her stay. She is an old bird in this line and with advantage of home ground, thus, could not get her to do more. However, I still recommend her as she is in early 20+ and beside the limit 3 f*** she is really ok and comfortable to be with. Offered her Rp 50 000 tip, she also did not make noise. I heard usually the tip is Rp 150 000? Got to check!
Next day, my friend book the same girl again. I go villa to hunt again at 9- 10 am. Perhap it is on Saturday all beauty kana booked liao or what, thus, cannot find any beauty despite I am early. Picked one that look most presentatable. Go back hotel, this girl start to give problem. When at the minimart, bought a lot of things like sampoo, tampon, etc. In the hotel room just after one sex, asked for new pair of shoe. By 4 pm, I gave up, asked her to go back villa. She asked for tip some more, really suck to the core!
Then I sat at hotel lobby to see other people girls. But tell you really all girls I saw were in their late 20s or more. The monger there also were in their 50s or more. Only me and my friends are in our 30s. This is really what I saw in the hotel and it vicinity. The following morning (Sunday), on return trip, inside Balai Custom, as I handed out Rps 100 000 note to pay for Rp 10 000 (I think) custom Fee, the lady refused to give me back my change. I asked for it but she insisted and said the rest is tip for her. Therefore, I write in to check with rest of you is the girls in Balai really so sub standard or what? I cannot completely confirm my observation as I went on Friday evening till Sunday. All good pretty young girl may have been taken or book already.

As a first timer you did ok, if you had use kofa I think you will not been disappointed at least he would have change the gal for you when she start giving problems and if you have not fuck her you can get your money back, and if you have fuck her you can change just pay for short time 120, 000 rupiah and get other gal.

Please be advise, that you are not require to use kofa when in Balai.
I am just doing the guy a favour, and also he can make a living for himself even if is a lousy way of maklng a living. Who are we to judge.
I do not I repeat do not receive any kind of commision from him.
