Not always happening.

A significant times I had experienced odd. Given lower graded room in my booked price (mean I m paying higher) or asking additional money being transferring to higher grade. Even I had booking confirmation mail with booking number, just showing excuses that I arrived late according to my arrival time and the booked room is not available. Mostly in the time if the city enjoying some special occasion like Sinolog or New Year eve. That happens in Thailand, Philippine even in China too.

Happy Hunting.Well lucky for me nothing like this has ever happened in all of my many, many, many years of traveling the globe. I suppose there's always a possibility of that first time. But even if it has happened to somebody, that's no reason to not plan and make your arrangements in advance. Normally, things will work out, and that's what we intrepid world travelers need to be able to hang our hats on. Plan, be organized, and hope for the best. It usually works out!

I assume you are staying in Ermita to visit LA Cafe or Robinson Mall. You want to be within walking distance of those places as Ermita is a shit hole. There are many good hotels in that area, but it depends on your budget. If you want high end, the Diamond Hotel is very good. If you want low end, many people on this board have said Red Planet is good. All are girl friendly.I stayed at Diamond hotel before. It is very good. Around $100 per night. Superior rooms at Best western is fairly good at mid range $50 per night. Nice breakfast for two if you book for two people. There are other hotels around the area to fit in any budget. All are girl friendly. Within walking distance to LA cafe. If you keep to main roads at night it is quite safe. Do not go into alleyways. If your main goal is pick up at LA cafe stay around that area only. There have been shakedowns by police if you have a girl with you and take taxi. Walking together is safe.

When I visit specially Philippine and Thailand I used to meet with a numbers of girls listed in a spreadsheet date wise. I need to be listing the hotels too according to the girl's convenience and my safety. Generally I book the hotel a day before for my next meeting if all goes as I planed before. For me it is always in need to be organized.

Happy hunting.

Happy hunting.I am going to do exactly the same thing on next visit. My organizing brain says to do it all ahead of time but my other thought is to make reservations one day at a time as you described. I have a long list of potential visitors and I don't know who will actually be available when I am and I prefer to change hotels frequently to avoid unwelcome showups which could happen because I am seeing Dating site girls.

And you need to keep a reserve list too. If there any misshapes than the expansion gap will cover up your days and keep alive the next schedule. If all goes well than you may find empty expansion gap to be filled by the reserve list. Need to be prepared for misshapes always, because girls may stopped by their red flag or unable to meet for any unavoidable reason or just no show.

It's better to book the hotel a day before after confirming the next meet.

After RTFF and a couple of other sites, I booked the Executive room at the City Garden Hotel. Great location and it seems to very guest friendly so shouldn't have any probs bringing one or more girls up. I read they've updated the rooms. The mirror opposite the bed is a nice touch! I'll post a review after my stay.I will be in Manila / Makati in a few weeks for a weekend. Any ideas how to get decent, passionate, clean girls for a threesome? Any hints are most welcome.

It's been many years, but I know first hand about a shakedown by a couple just walking down the street.

As for LA cafe, I ask to meet a block away.

And if some guy flashes a badge and / or gun, I'm probably not going to get into his van as instructed. I don't think they are real cops. At least in the situation I'm aware off.

Tell her to wait just inside the door so you can confirm the car is for you then have her jump in. This should be done everywhere if you are inclined to think a shakedown is coming.

Hey guys. I would be visiting the philippines for the first time to meet up my girlfriend. She would be travelling too all the way from her province to join me. Any safe and nice hotels on an average budget which fellow mongers can advise as the best girlfriendly hotel. Mind you she is genuinely my girlfriend of 5 years and not an escort. I want her to feel safe.

Any safe and nice hotels on an average budget which fellow mongers can advise as the best girlfriendly hotel. Mind you she is genuinely my girlfriend of 5 years and not an escort. I want her to feel safe.I have a couple suggestions:

First, decide what part of Metro Manila you want to locate in. Plan in terms of the kinds of things you want to do together. Remember that you're not interested in hunting for a bed partner like most mongers on this site. Makati, for example, has the greatest selection of mall shopping; Ermita, in the City of Manila, has museums, gardens around Rizal Park, and the historic district of Intramuros; Quezon City has government agencies--but can't imagine that's interesting to most people. Safety can also involve issues with the neighborhood, but keep in mind that even then you can arrive and leave via taxis or grab vehicles and rarely need to walk any further than a nearby restaurant or 7-11. In general, stay out of the area referred to as Tondo, Binondo, and Quiapo. This is the part of the City of Manila just north of the Pasig River. Some people consider Ermita, which is bounded by the Pasig River to the north, Taft Avenue, Pedro Gil, and Manila Bay, to be unsafe. It is sleazy, but I have been in this area many times and never felt threatened. Don't flash jewelry, travel with minimal amounts of money on your person, know where you're going, stay out of poorly lit areas, and walk briskly. As a Filipina, your girlfriend will have a good sense about these things.

Second, you can generally trust the online booking systems like Agoda, Hotels dot com, and others. Use one of these sites as a guide for checking out ratings. Most hotels with a three star or better rating will be safe. Then, within the site for a given hotel, look at the ratings that individual guests have given, to include reading the details about things like slow elevators, slow room service, noisy air conditioning, no hot water, and so on. With very few exceptions, these hotels are all girlfriendly. If you arrive together, nobody is going to question your sharing a room. If she arrives before you, they will let her wait in the lobby, and then you check in together. If she arrives later, she may have to show ID at the entrance and then they call you to the lobby. GF is not an issue.

One of our expats says better prices can be had by contacting the hotel directly rather than using online sites. I tried this once, had a series of emails guaranteeing a room reservation, and arrived to find a hotel with no vacant rooms. I showed the Australian manager the emails, and he said, "this is the Philippines, anything can happen. " Hahaha. He found me a room in a nearby hotel that was more expensive and less accommodating. Your mileage may vary.

Finally, cross-tabulate the first and second criteria. The decision is about both location and hotel quality. Manila has lots of dirty air, street beggars, and foul smelling rivers and streams, but Filipinos are warm and welcoming people. You'll almost certainly have a good time, especially with a warm and welcoming bed partner.

All online hotel booking services have star ratings for the hotels. Start with the 1 star hotels.

Can you be any less vague?

I want her to feel safe. Most people here ask for monger friendly hotels. If you already have a girl and not worried about the hotel allowing guests it is a no brainer.

Just go to Agoda or any number of websites and search in your price range. I have had several girls from provinces I flew them in to Manila mainly because they have never been there. They liked Mall Of Asia. Otherwise there is nothing much to see. They were amazed at the number of people, traffic etc. I even took couple of girls to Angeles thinking they will enjoy the party atmosphere. They hated it. They were wondering how girls can have sex with different people every day.

Cebu is better that way.

All the hotels allow one guest to stay with you if you register them. Just book for two people. Only if you are bringing different girl at night some hotels will charge you. But most hotels are ok with it as long as they have I. D.

Medium to high end hotels are safe. Low end hotels are sketchy.

2. Her standard of clothes might be too cheap for a 5 star hotel and people will know she is from the provinces without her even opening her mouth. They might silently be laughing at you

3. She'd be so excited that she's grabbed a walking ATM who's going to financially support her and her family, that you could stay in a backpackers and she wouldn't care.

4. You are wanting her to be safe? She's likely to be more street smart than most foreigners. If this is your first trip, it’s you that needs to be safe

5. All hotels are girlfriendly. Just tick it's for two people on the booking form.

6. Since you are not mongering, it might be better to check Trip Advisor for reviews from non-mongers.

Wow! Never expected such detailed and informative replies. Thanks a lot guys. My intention for asking this was not to save on money rather to make sure I don't end up in a hotel which won't allow guests or not get harassed by the authorities. My GF is a pure province girl who even speaks a different dialect apparently and not fluent tagalog. She has never been to manila and was asking me to make sure that both of us can stay peacefully in the hotel. Both of us don't have any idea about manila I RTFF the other forums and apparently philippines is as open as Bangkok! I feel stupid now.

I think I will book a decent one in Makati or near mall of asia.

How is Airbnb? Is it any good. Again thanks a lot guys. Enjoy PHP.

How is Airbnb? Is it any good. Again thanks a lot guys. Enjoy PHP.I've used Airbnb a half dozen times with good success. A few small irritations, like keys not left at the security desk for our arrival, but most problems have been small.

Often the beds are not as comfortable as what the better hotels have, but shouldn't be an issue if you don't spend much time sleeping. There are sometimes bars cross-wise under the mattress. They're great for being able to push off from you knees, and when you lie down in exhaustion you'll barely notice that the bars are a little uncomfortable for sleeping. Truthfully, I always slept well.

You have lots of flexibility because there are only two of you, but check out the pictures closely so you know about bed configurations, bathroom (CR) and kitchen facilities. Your GF may want to show off her cooking, so maybe get her to check out the kitchen pictures or at least describe the appliances to her before choosing.

The website shows you the general area for the unit, but sometimes there's a name of the building in a title, and from there you can pin it down exactly with GoogleMaps. Keep in mind that the best places get snapped up quickly.

How is Airbnb? Is it any good. Again thanks a lot guys. Enjoy PHP.ED is correct, you don't need to get a nice hotel to impress a provincial girl. Usually. Its also possible that she has met a number of foreigners over the years (such as yourself) and has made several trips to meet them in Davao, Cebu, or Manila (regardless of what she told you; she would not mention to her current boyfie her past indiscretions). She might well understand the difference between a nice hotel and other hotels; its not fair to assume one way or the other. Regardless, don't spend bigger to impress her (with hotel quality or security). Interestingly, I find in these situations that both the foreigner and the girl think that they are the protector of the other person.

Airbnb. A number of us have gone to using condo units versus hotels in the past few years. The condos are usually very nice, good door security, and often considerably less per night in cost. Downside: There is no daily room cleaning of bedsheets / towels and such, like in a hotel. Also you can cook in a condo unit's kitchen. In Malate (15 minutes from the airport by taxi, about) I have used several, including Birch Tower and Malate Bayview Mansion. In Makati, I have used Knightsbridge and Milano (and others). I have yet to pay more than $40 USD per night in a condo in Phils, and in my last visits to each of those 4 condos I was under $32 per night. You can also find closer to NAIA at Shell Residences and The Palm Tree Villas.

Have some fun. If you have the girl at the condo for a few days, take her to the grocery store, let her shop for her fav meal, and let her make it for you.

Downside: There is no daily room cleaning of bedsheets / towels and such, like in a hotel. Think wet spot on the bottom sheet, and maybe spread around onto other bedding. A suggestion: pack a towel or two in your luggage and get in the habit of putting it on the bed under the action area. Tell your GF to practice her kegels.

My only question on booking a hotel is will they let you enter with more than one girl in tow without any extra fee's?Yes. Have rarely been stopped anywhere in Phils in this manner. You are simply bringing up multiple guests to your room for a few hours, no different than if you brought your GF and her son in to swim in the pool. Have had as many as 6 girls in tow. However, that's not to mean that it can't happen where they stop you and force you to register the extra girl. Registering is usually a matter of filling out a form (no extra money) for the extra person. For clarity's sake, we have mentioned on many occasions on this board, when you book the room, make sure to book it for TWO people. If the hotel or website offers a discount for one person, and you book it as such, then yes you have screwed yourself should you bring in a bedmate (or two), extra charges might apply (as in doubling your rate).

For those not familiar, getting a hotel room in Mexico (or central America) by yourself pretty much excludes you bringing an extra person (charges apply). This is the standard, the front desk looks forward to charging you for each guest you bring in. Example: I pay $50 for the room for the night, then later I bring up a ST girl, and the clerk demands a joiner fee. A few hours later I bring in another ST girl, and there is another joiner fee. In both Phils and Indonesia, I never ran into that kind of thing, the two worlds have never collided.

Downside: There is no daily room cleaning of bedsheets / towels and such, like in a hotel. Also you can cook in a condo unit's kitchen. It's a big plus for me if the condo has a washer and drier for both wet spot removal and frequent changes of smelly clothes in 100% humidity.

If girlie is going to want to cook, make sure there is a rice cooker in the kitchen. I'd agree that she will enjoy cooking for you and it also ensures she has access to food that she actually likes. I've seen many provincial girls not enjoy a 5 star western meal.

Oh we both were both working in Dubai and were in a relationship for 5 years. She just moved back to PHP and wants to visit manila to attend some interviews for jobs based in Dubai and also simultaneously meet me. She didn't want to stay in a hotel alone. Anyway, thanks for all the help guys. I am well aware of the scammers in PHP and I know she's not. I guess seasoned tourists have a very low outlook of filipinas in general although my gf was one of kindest souls i ve known.

I guess seasoned tourists have a very low outlook of filipinas in general although my gf was one of kindest souls i ve known. The way your first post was written it was assumed you are looking for a low level girlfriendly hotel to keep your girl from provinces and possible get another girl from Manila. Why else you want a girlfriendly hotel? Anywhere in the world if you book a room for two you and your girl can stay together except Saudi Arabia maybe (never went there). If you are just staying with one girl register her along with you and nobody will say anything. If she is coming to Manila and hoping to get a job in Dubai she needs to pay agency fee of roughly 25000 pesos. Maybe she is hoping you will help her. Her earned money possibly vanished.

I am chatting with a girl who needs 25000 pesos she says for a job in Saudi Arabia. If anybody is interested pm me. I can just give you her name in DIA and after that you can chat with her and see. She said she is already offered a job. This conversation happened because I told her I will be in Manila in April and she said she maybe in Saudi by then. I was not going to pay the whole amount but part of it for fun which she agreed. You negotiate on your own.

Everyone assumes you are mongering even when you are not mongering. Even though she is your true love of 5 years, all the mongers here just expect your girl to be a hooker. You might find good non mongering type answers on Trip Advisor, Google Reveiws or similar sites.

All the best. Hope you have a good time.

I haven't read any reports yet about the Discovery Primea. It is grouped right up there with New World, Peninsula and Shangri La. I think it has only been open for a year or so. Very comfortable and modern, right across Ayala from Glorietta Mall with an underpass walkway. I had a girl visit yesterday afternoon, no questions asked. Decent Infinity pool with poolside bar, and a roof top bar as well, although it was closed for a private party last night. I'm going to try the Spa massage this afternoon. The breakfast buffet is ok, nothing to write home about so don't feel like you are missing much if you decide not to prepay with your reservation. Hotels.com had a good price on the hotel this weekend.

When judging the hotel's website prices with prices on sites like Expedia, don't forget to look into whether the prices include service charge and taxes (which could be $50+ per night). Sites like hotels.com don't include these surcharges in their initial prices.

My wingman and I arrived today in Manila, from AC. We are staying at the fairmont in Makati. Wow, what a nice hotel!, night and day between this hotel and the ABC hotel in AC. Unfortunately, I came up with the flu and I am sidelined tonight. My wingman, although disappointed gladly took my offer and went to Burgos by himself, of course armed with some intel. This was his first time mongering in the Philippines and he was impressed by Greenbelt and Manila in general.

He has already written off AC, but I have a feeling he will be coming back to Makati. I was happy for him. As for myself, I have already written off this portion of the trip. I will try to do better next time, and I will definitely be back.

For example for Australian users using these sites from Australia territory the sites are using All-In prices, so it is easy to compare. When we use the same site from within Philippines then they snake oil comes out. Wherever possible I book direct with hotels and avoid those hotel engine behemoths.

Good to hear. Just booked it for a weekend.Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I hope you enjoy it. If you take a cab, ask them to drop you off via Apartment Ridge Road; there isn't a drop off point in front of the hotel. If the cab driver doesn't know the hotel, tell him it is next to the Peninsula. I had an ass taxi driver who dropped me off half a mile away and wouldn't listen to my directions ("no drop off zone! I think he was mad because I insisted he use the meter. Grab drivers use Waze and know how to get there.

Grab drivers use Waze and know how to get there.I will arrive internationally 10 minutes before her domestic Cebu flight (according to schedule anyway). I will take a grab from Term 1 to Term 3 then on to the hotel.

I will just about always use Grab instead of a taxi for various reasons, that they usually can find the spot is a good reason.

In my experience AirBnb often offers better value for money than hotels, especially for stays longer than a couple of nights when cleaning fee is spread across the nights. I was looking for a place in Makati for the upcoming trip in March, was wondering if anyone has any specific tips at least about the condo complexes to look at?

Also, what is the story for bringing visitors? Some listings flat out say this is not allowed, some even say its not allowed by condo rules. Some are silent on this issue. In the past, I've had mixed experiences in other countries where some places completely refused to allow a girl in, some were somewhat hesitant, some didn't have any issue with it. What is the norm in Manila and again does anyone have tips for proven girl-friendly condos?

Thanks so much everyone!!

Thanks so much everyone!!I stayed at Jazz Residence a few times. Most places I got were Airbnb but also took a 6 month lease there.

Even though some places say no visitors it is up to the guards to enforce. I stayed in Towers A,'be' and 'see' the and in all of them never had an issue with visitors, sometimes 3 or 4 at a time. Never saw an ad for tower see so cannot comment on it.

If they come alone or obviously look like working girls they will be asked to sign in and leave ID. No call to your room for verification coming or going. They doneed yop know your name an.

Just about any time I was with a girl or more who looked like a regular girl, especially in in afternoon no issue. Once a girl became a regular visitor, she would be able to just walk in.

Jazz is about 600 m from Burgos street and a 10 minute walk to Greenbelt. Facilities include nice pool and gym. Usage is supposed to be only for residents or a 150 p cost (300 on weekends and holidays) but when I was Airbnb I just walked in, signed the register like I belonged and if asked said I just moved in and did not have my tenet ID yet (tales a few weeks to get.). Never refused access to the pool, sometimes with guests and did not have to pay.

You do not want a south view in tower 'be" or to be in tower A due to traffic noise. Worst was a low room in tower "the" the the north side, just above the air conditioners and near to traffic with adjacent building blocking view. Best room I had was high pool view from tower 'A'. It is far enough away from the other towers that nighttime balcony sex was possible, good view and quiet. North view Tower 'D' cannot be seen from the street if high enough so daytime balcony sex is achievable. (Best time was daytime balcony 3 some. LOL).

P.S. I hate auto correct changing tower letters to words.

Narrowed down my hotels to three medium priced hotels, all have pools but only the hotel by the greenview mall offers a breakfast option for two for a few bucks more. The hotels are the Berjaya hotel, the 1898 Hotel Colonia and the Prince Plaza II Condotel. I like having a couch in the room which the Prince Plaza has. I'd guess being close to the mall would allow me to find freelancers as well as meet any internet girls before taking them back to the hotel. So what's the better option: being close to Burgos or close enough for a quick taxi ride? But I'm also looking for a hassle free hotel where I can easily bring back multiple girls without an issue.

I have nothing good to say about Berjaya. Reception was a bit rude. And they wanted to charge me extra for an early check in. When checking out they demanded to see the receipt for the deposit.

The upside is that most of the rooms are facing a quiet side street. The downside is that the rooms are not very well kept (eg. sticky furniture). The Berjaya has a breakfast buffet so I guess they offer a breakfast option for two as well.

I've stayed near Greenbelt too a few times (but not at the hotels you mention) and that was much better than staying near Burgos. Better and more food options and a nicer environment overall.

That's the type of room I prefer, can't stand those apartment hotels where the rooms are subdivided making the space seem that much smaller. Going solo I don't need two rooms, prefer one large living space preferably with a couch. I did check out the hotel on tripadvisor and have to say the guest photo's are an eye opener, I can see why people are saying the hotel is 'dated'.

Found a place at the end of P. Burgos street in Makati, price is reasonable for what is offered. Room is nice and tidy, staff have no uniforms but for 1185 a night I don't mind. I think it was called San Agustin Residences or something. No signage, WiFi is decent I usually bring a few of my regulars there most of the people I saw there were locals who had work nearby.

Anyone with experience of hotel Victoria or hotel Sogo in Malate?

Is that only ST hotel??

Is it aloud to go there without a car at all?

I used Victoria once in the middle of the 90's, but that time I sneaked in there in a cab with a temporally friend, had to do it in secret!

Is it still the same?

Handy as it shows proximity to any malls, eateries etc that you might want to be near.

Rooms were big enough? That's vague. What does that mean? Big enough for what? Some guys are fine with 20 sqm Studio units (bed for banging and CR for crappin'/ showering). Other guys need palatial space. For me, I've found that I am most comfortable at 27-40 sqm. Anything smaller and I feel cramped, anything larger is wasted space for myself and a 4' 11" / 85 lb pinay.

". where there is no-hassle coming and going. " (ie; come and go as I please with no questions).I have yet to experience any difficulties escorting different guests (sometimes multiple at the same time) during the day at a condo (for those who have eye dee). Can only speak for Malati (not far from Binondo), try Birch Tower (sometimes known as JMM Suites online) and Malate Bayview Mansion.

coming and going with decent wifi?.What does that mean? Decent wifi for some gents in phils can be as weak as a connection that lets them browse the web without disconnecting several times per day. For others, that means streaming on multiple devices without buffering (requires considerably more bandwidth that does not drop off on a regular basis). I prefer the second option. Both of the residences I mentioned above (BT and MBM) had units with the second option for me in the past, but that is not a guarantee of the same performance in a different unit in the same condo in the future. Best bet on airbnb is to ask the owner before booking what his speeds are (generally speaking, 5 mbps and up is fine for streaming -- if its constant). In Makati I have had good speeds in Gramercy, Knightsbridge, and Milano serviced residences on airbnb.

". where there is no-hassle coming and going. " (ie; come and go as I please with no questions).I've always found it the other way ie every hotel / air bnb is GF. If you don't mind a worst case of her having to show ID then I think you would be exceedingly unlucky to find anywhere that wouldn't fit your requirements.

If you wanted to avoid even this inconvenience I'm sure that a reassuring word to security that you know and trust all your visitors over the next week would work. Of course, you would then be exposed to the security concerns that the ID checks as designed to prevent.

A while ago I did ask if there were ANY non GF hotels in the Philippines. From memory, replies identified 3 in the whole country. LOL.

Cheers, G.

Hi! My virgin trip is upcoming. $ is not really an issue and I like casinos, so I booked the Nobu hotel at COD. I've rtff and realize that this is far from some of the action, but I decided the time and taxi cost were worth it to stay at a place I wanted to stay at anyway.

I'm only staying here one night, then off to ABC in AC for a couple of nights, then back to Manila. (I'll make the hotel decision for my return after experiencing this.) Between the two nights in Manila I want to at least check out Havana, LA Cafe, Burgos, etc.

Apart from reports that this is a nice place and that a Korean casino girl wanted 8 k, I can't really find any other tips or suggestions for someones staying here. Apart from "stay somewhere else," any info or feedback about staying here? The plan is likely to pull from somewhere else and bring them back (rather than trying to find a casino girl).

Apart from "stay somewhere else," any info or feedback about staying here? The plan is likely to pull from somewhere else and bring them back (rather than trying to find a casino girl).I have posted reports about City of Dreams on several occasions. I always stay at the Hyatt COD as opposed to the Nobu whenever I decide to stay in this neck of the woods. The Hyatt is cheaper plus I get perks and room upgrades as a Hyatt member, but I am sure you will like where you are going. Another good thing about staying at COD is the 24-hour restaurant availability especially if you are jet lagged coming from the USA.

Now down to the important stuff:

Aside from the 2 nightclubs (Pangea & Chaos) in COD located on the 2nd floor that I and others have reviewed, you will be in close proximity to the EDSA Entertainment Complex (RTFF). I like the EDSA bar scene. You are also in relatively close proximity to LA Cafe etc. I don't particularly like LA Cafe, but it is a scene. My advice would be to take a look in LA Cafe around 1 am after you have barfined and enjoyed a ST session with an EDSA bar girl first. A taxi to Burgos will most likely take 50 to 60 minutes. A taxi to Airforce One & Flight 168 spa is probably only 35 minutes. AF1 might be something to consider if you are not happy with the talent level at LA Cafe. I would skip Burgos while you are staying at COD. I would also recommend booking a Makati Hotel like the Fairmont or the Peninsula as long as "$ is not really an issue" for your return to Manila so you can check out Burgos.

I can still recall my cherry boy 1st visit to the PI. You are going to have a gas.

And then to Burgos. Don't bother wasting time in a place like LAC. Same goes for Havana in Greenbelt 3.

The alternative is to pick a girl from the clubs in CoD, but that is a hit and miss chance. A casino girl can be a good bet too, definitely a better one than LAC.

Again, thanks for the feedback! What time will you be arriving at COD? If coming in from the US you probably won't land before 9:30 pm; you probably won't get to your hotel until 10-10:30 pm.

If you go to EDSA from COD after 10 pm it won't take very long at all. It took me 15 minutes, from the airport, on my last trip. I think I got through immigration around 11:30 pm. Still, by the time you get there the good girls will either be bar fined, or will have returned from their ST bar fine. Just try not to think about sloppy seconds.

You really want to be at EDSA by 7:30 to see the best girls, even though some of them will already be reserved for the night. A mamasan on my last trip told me that Japanese arrive from the homeland on Thursday night, spend the weekend in Manila and return Sunday night, FWIW.

I'm looking to book an airbnb condo near Greenbelt, I think it's the Excelsior. Before going to the payments page, it showed a list of rules by the host, a few that concern us are as follows:

- "All illegal activities are strictly prohibited. ".

- "The building practices strict security rules and anyone who is not registered will not be allowed to enter the condominium. ".

This can be interpreted in 2 ways:

1) Very strict: The host knows exactly what he / she's talking about (can't bring girls in).

2) Kinda loose: "illegal activities" could mean lots of things not just P4P. I read some previous posts saying it depends on how strict the guard is. The second rule could also mean that since I myself am registered, it'd be OK for me to bring a friend and register him / her if needed. It'd be hard to imagine that people who live in the condo can't bring friends over.

What do you guys think? Should I be worried?

BTW I don't want to ask the host to clarify if I can bring a friend, I don't want to give any hint that can lead to misunderstanding.

BTW I don't want to ask the host to clarify if I can bring a friend, I don't want to give any hint that can lead to misunderstanding.I stayed at the GB Excelsior last trip. Very nice rooms and an easy walk to GB for meals etc.

The owner I had has a few condos there and is easy to deal with. He'll meet you upon checkin (if required) then you will never see him again. Say you have been to MnL before and you don't even need to met him. He will send a proforma email / SMS with info on how everything works. Security are cool with guests, just keep it low key. My condo had a clothes washer dryer which is a big plus if you are out walking in Mnl heat and humidity.

ID have no problem staying there again.

Enjoy. G.

Flying into Manila but leaving next morning for Angeles. Need a mid priced hotel (say 55 -70 US) with decent buffet bfast just crash for 1 night.

Does the location make a difference, when leaving for Angeles, that is next morning?

Have stayed in Pasay near MOA, this was fairly close to airport which meant fairly short trip from plane flight.

Not looking to monger in Manila saving $$ for Angeles.

I arrive at 5 pm so is staying in Manila a better option than straight to Angeles vs peak hour traffic?

NI.Assuming the next day is a week day, you are going to have to leave pretty early to escape traffic. Often 50% of travel time is mearly getting out of Manila. After that it's generally smooth sailing.

Personally, I'd just put the $55 towards a comfortable door to door transfer and leave straight from the airport, bypassing a night in Manila.

If you are looking to save cash then like for like accommodation is cheaper in AC anyway and you will arrive in time to find a bed mate or have an early night and be onsite, ready to go first thing in the morning.

NI.If you decide to stay in manila check out Hotel 101. It is near MOA, the buffet breakfast was just okay but not great when I stayed there. You could catch a taxi to MOA for 100 php and eat dinner there when you arrive and / or breakfast. Room should be in the low area of your price range. Another is the Heritage Hotel, room and buffet is more expensive but is a notch or two above Hotel 101. Traffic at peak hours is brutal ++, at non peak hours is merely brutal.

NI.Upon arrival in to Manila airport Just go straight to terminal 3, arrivals bay 14 and get on Genesis Bus to SM City Clark Mall, Angeles City. Let the bus driver do the driving for you. 3-4 hours and you are in Angeles. Same amount of travel time in the morning. If you really want to avoid traffic then catch the bus at 11 pm or later. 2 hours then.

Bus is 350-400 pesos.

Bypass Manila completely.

This is exactly what I did on my last trip, so let me add to what 87 has written.

I landed at Terminal 2 so needed to get to T3. The Genesis bus only goes to T3. The free shuttle had a long line. I went out of Terminal 2 to find an alternative. One guy tried to get me into a taxi and said the bus wouldn't come for another hour. Ten minutes later a Premium bus pulled up. I asked the driver if he stopped at T3. He waves me on. I ask, what time do you leave. He answers "one fifty". Tired from my five-hour flight, I looked at my watch and it says 3 pm. Took me a moment of thought, but he apparently was telling me the price. So off we went to T3 for P150. Too far to walk, BTW. Got on the Genesis bus.

Late afternoon and traffic was bad. We spent over an hour on EDSA blvd. I was beginning to regret my choice, but once we finally got on the highway it was smooth sailing.

I had hoped the Genesis bus would drop us off somewhere near the SM Mall jeepney terminal (east end of the mall). It didn't. It dropped us off at the west end. I walked to my hotel near Fields. Walking is doable, but the suitcase wheels took a beating, and luckily it wasn't too hot, nor was it raining.

In conclusion, I will probably stick to my usual itinerary which would be a night in Manila and then the Swagman bus (p 600) to AC (drop off at hotel). Nevertheless, it's nice to have another transportation alternative.

I also neglected another very minor point 🙄 . For a late night arrival, Walking Street will be well. . . . Walking Street ie no vehicular access to drop you off at the hotel door so you will be walking your bags WS's length to your hotel anyway.

NI.I have taken both. The slowest part is getting thru Manila to the highway. The bus uses a special bus lane which I have found to be a bit faster. My judgement is based on watching the cars from the bus going slower than the bus.

On the highway it is the same. The car will take you direct to your hotel. The private car will stop if you have to eat or take a restroom break.

NI.You could just chill and then head out.

If you go and get something to eat and a soapy, by the time you are done it will be around 10.

The traffic is between you and QC, once you get past balintawalk it is smooth sailing, and that traffic dies down after 10.

If not a spa (like wensha) is good to kill a few hours.

Well, lesson learned.I meant that Walking Street is open to cars during the day so a taxi or charter could drop the OP directly at any hotel there. This would be my preferred option if I was arriving at mid day with lots of luggage.

However, he is arriving at night, when WS is foot traffic only and the Genesis stop is very close. It's an easy walk with light bags.

I think the bus continues to Clark, possibly to Clark airport.

You board on the right side of the flag poles which is a drop off point for everyone. The flag poles are centered in a median divider of a one way entrance. There is only one stop at the mall and this is it.

It is a good walk to walking street especially if you are dragging luggage and it is hot outside.

Looking for the best "short-stop" hotel that's over on the T1 side of the airport. Girl friendly as I'll have 6 hrs to play, but want to avoid the city. Any suggestions for walkable places from T1?

Also. Having read the forum, I don't see a lot of comments about great rimming girls. Keen to find some chick that like to give a catbath in that part.

Much thanks in advance.

Next bus was at 11:00 pm.

The 11:00 bus arrived to SM City Clark at 12:30! And he drove slow on the expressway. No traffic either thru Manila.

At SM mall there were trikes and private taxis available. I took a trike and some how he loaded 2 suitcases, a box and backpack in and on it. Plus he had his sidekick on the passenger seat. These trikes are quite flexible.

I really liked staying at Fairmont. That's my new favorite hotel. Oddly enough I use to like Berjaya for on the cheap but still quality and it's really went down the shitter. Fairmont and Diamond in a close second are my favorites right now. I like new world in makati too but nothing overly special about it.

Stayed twice at Discovery Primea, took executive suite each time. Nice one bedroom with clothes washer and kitchen. Shower big enough for 3 (confirmed) or 4 (speculative).

Not for cheap charlies it was 8 to 10 k each stay per night with a good buffet breakfast included for 2.

Sometimes hard for cabs to find, address is on Alyea but you need to enter from Apartment Ridge Road, Grab has correct location.

Unless you plan to use the swag, bus, or express to AC, it would be better to just go straight. Arriving into NAIA at 2030 will get you into an AC hotel by 11.

BB.DG has very generously given you hotel information for the airport area. Most hotels are not in the prostitution business, so you won't be able to get chicks within the hotel. I would suggest you look up Manila Courtesans or Smooci on your phone, select the hottie you require and get her to come up to your room. She will be there in an hour or so. You will need to pay upfront. In cash. Kind of like ordering a pizza.

There is a heavy bottleneck of traffic even before you get to baclaran. Somewhere in the zapote / las pinas / paranaque area, the traffic moves very slowly. I would think your time is more valuable than the girls time, and the girls are very familiar with traveling from the south to the north. All the busses that come from the south terminate at buendia. An option might be to stay close to buendia, and have them come to you. Also Pasay and Paranaque have many hotel options.

Taguig is in central Manila, adjacent to Makati including BGC. Most Taguig girls probably live in the northern part of Taguig rather than the bit that runs down past Laguna Lake

Cavite is south of Manila and very difficult and time-wasting to reach. The maps might show them as close but remember that distance in Manila is measured by time and not kilometers

Hey guys,

Due to Philippine airlines rearranging my flight I have been blessed with 28 hrs in manila.

If done some reading on here already but still confused at what's best.

I land at 18.30 on a Monday evening and fly out at 22.00 on Tuesday.

Want to stay in a girl friendly place and will most probably smoochi as Iv heard most places are shut on a Monday and it will be less hassle and more time for fun.

So, is it worth travelling to and staying in makati? Would like to go for a walk around also the next day to see some of manila. Or is it worth staying closer to the airport.

Any recommendations for girls friendly hotels or apartments which is close enough to most the smoochi girls so I won't have to wait all night for them to arrive. Want max 50 usd a night really.

Any other recommendations and tips would be welcome also.

Thanks in advance.

.....

I land at 18.30 on a Monday evening and fly out at 22.00 on Tuesday.

.....Just about every hotel in Manila is GF. My first trip after being in Dubai where friendly hotels are about a 50-50 proposition and can change depending on who is working the desk daily, I got a lot of funny looks when asking about how friendly the hotel was when I checked in. Now I assume unless told differently here and I don't recall any non friendly hotels being mentioned for a long time.

At 18:30 you are height of traffic. For a 22:00 departure you will also be returning during the next rush to be in time for the flight.

My recommendation would be to take a hotel next to the airport and ask for late check out, 18:00 or so. Expect to pay for at least a half day extra if not for two nights to get the room for all afternoon.

Lots of girls on smooci near the airport so you should not have any issues there.

If you want to check out at noon and save the extra stay costs check out Air Force One or Flight 168. These are co-located near the airport and they offer acceptable services as well.

Thanks in advance.First advice is book hotel for two people (same price for 1 or 2). Bay view park, best western close to LA cafe is within your price range of $50 are good. Girls in LA cafe are cheaper than Makati.

Transportation to and from the airport used to be a nightmare but after construction of some expressways little more manageable.

There are half a day city yours for Manila which you can take when you check out of your room. They will hold your luggage. If you try dating sites you can get some girls to come to the hotel and stay with you.

Think this is the way I might go rather than battling the night traffic to Angeles. Seems more relaxed way.

Cheers.

NI.NI, where's your report?

Manila?

Angeles City?

The Peninsula Hotel isn't bad. When you take the girl back you have to take her to get signed in, they copy her ID and ask her to fill in a form. If you don't you will get stopped at the elevator as they ask for room number and check how many people have been signed into the room.

In the morning you either escort her down or they call up to the room before they allow her to leave. It's like a line of security at the hotel doors, and while they look intimidating a few of them just smiled at me and said "Hope you had a good night sir" as I walked past with my overnight.

Some of the upscale hotels offer in room massages from their spa.

I assume that these are all pretty legit? Or how does one go about asking a girl if there are extras without offending them (if it actually is a really legit in-room massage). Any tips?

Any tips? Most contract with an outside service to provide in room massages. Some may have onsite spas too. Generally they only provide legit massages as they are scared to death to loose the contracts. However you might convince a wayward masseuse to provide HJ. I usually ask them to massage my inner thigh and you will find out after that if they get close to your privates or not.

In Makati I stayed at the Herald Suites on Polaris. It's an older hotel but adequate. Great location, 1- 2 minute walk to Bottoms, many places to eat close by. According to their information guide, you can drink the tap water. I didn't, but good to know. Breakfast was good and not the usual buffet. You get your choice of I believe 4 different choices, good because it's made after you order it. The room is average with good hot water but the shower is with the bathtub so not a lot of room for two persons. It is girl friendly but you must register the girl. No added fee. Best feature, price. It was only $35.00 usd before taxes a night.

In Pasay I stayed at the Citadine bay city Manila. This is more of a luxury hotel with a price to match. It was still cheaper than say the Conrad which was close by. I believe I paid $105.00 usd a night. This hotel has a gym a a big swimming pool. Girl friendly and you don't need to register the girl. About a 10 minute walk to the edsa center when not raining (see my report). The hotel seem fairly new and breakfast was included. They had the buffet for breakfast. No complaints at all about this hotel as long as you don't mind the price point. I also picked this hotel because it was closer to the airport for my last nights in Manila.

I was going to stay at the Shangri La, but CSP said it was looking a little tired and run down. Another monger wrote that the Peninsula also needs a refurbishment. I ended up changing my booking to the New World Makati. It's in a very convenient location across the road from Greenbelt. Burgos Street is a 80 peso cab ride away. During peak times, like 6. 00 pm, it is a lot quicker to walk to Burgos than taking the taxi.

It's a generic, vanilla flavoured five star pile. You could be anywhere in the world. There are no distinguishing features. All rather bland really. But terrific service, everything works, nice gym, nice pool and nice business centre. It's mainly all male business guests. Saw a few Chinese tour groups who come to mop up the expensive brand name goods at Greenbelt.

I did not eat at the hotel, so can't comment on food service. I hate hotel buffets and will happily travel 20 miles to avoid them.

Very hooker friendly. You can take as many hookers as you like up and down the elevators all day, every day and no one will care. I took in two of the most disgusting slappers you can find and they just called them "ma'am". No need to sign them in, but you do need to meet them in then lobby as it's a secure elevator. Too bad, you can't avoid that walk of shame. LOL.

I have been at Makati Diamond multiple times, and I find it much better than many of the five star hotels.

Proximity to greenbelt, good food, nice gym and free beer and chips.

Thanks.I would not be overly concerned about the hotel having a security policy regarding guests. Unless you know and trust the girls very well it is a minor inconvenience for some added safety for you.

My first two hotels in Manila, each called up to confirm arrival and then called to confirm departure, never had a departure confirmation since but it was a nice safety touch.

Daytime visitors are not checked. So if you want two girls get one in the daytime and let her stay in the room and bring other one anytime.

Nothing that you shouldn't be risking is it? Tempting as some things may be, given the severe repercussions one would be foolish. Put that to one side.

Are you worried about the walk of shame? - Thinking you are away from home, no one knows you, no one else really cares, they've seen it all before. On any given day in a hotel in Manila maybe 20/30/50 guests bring companions back. I often think those who are scared of the walk of shame shouldn't partake in our activities. What do they do in the room? Er Um "Please may I stick my cock into your pussy, if that's ok? Remember no one really cares and if they do its for about 5 secs. Anyway I like when they take their ID and ring before they leave. Its security for you.

Some guys (like me) have even gone so far to tip the doorman in advance to scrutinize the girl and identification card. It is a second set of eyes for when your judgement might be impaired by a few drinks. It could save you the embarrassment of taking a lady boy up to your room, or the trouble of taking a girl who hasn't yet reached the right age.

Everyone has a different set of priorities and levels of risk aversion. Go with what makes you happy. I prefer hotels with no ID checks or any limitations on the number of girls. Total Guest Friendly! So far I have stayed at the Fairmont, the New World Makati, Hyatt City of Dreams, Sofitel, Diamond and Pan Pacific. All were 100% guest friendly with no ID checks and no limits on the number of girls. The Peninsula too was also guest friendly when I stayed there a couple of years ago, but recently 2 BM's have reported differently. I would keep that under advisement.

The only walk of shame I can think of is if I were to take a couple of dogs up to my room or if I went out one night in MNL, struck out, and came back to my hotel empty handed. Believe it or not, that happened to me on my first night ever in AC! After a series of misses and one false start with a cherry girl, I returned to the ABC empty handed at 2 am. The friendly doorman even smiled and said, "what, no girl?" I was mortified and so ashamed! Ha Ha Ha. But I slept on it and the next day I recalibrated my AC MO (different from the MO I use in Thailand and MNL) and picked up a nice Perimeter girl that afternoon and it has been smooth sailing ever since.

I have my fares booked to Manila and beyond. I have only stayed in Malate. My plane now gets in around 2 am. My ideal hotel has these characteristics, not necessarily in this order: cheap (I do not want 5* crap for many reasons), secure, safe, hooker friendly. I am cool with Malate: cheap bayonet practice. I don't see many leads here.

(Taxi 5-10, minutes if no traffic, over an hour in heavy traffic) .

Security screening for visitors is a little hit or miss. If you are with her just sit on the left side of the cab so the gate guards see you if she is coming alone they will ask her who and where she is visiting.

Not bad restaurant on site, I stayed there a month and saw several guys with obvious paid companions there and no one looked twice. Pool for a fee unless you are a month or more however the pool control is you just ask the lobby guards for a wrist band and they never questioned me other than write something 0 on a sign in sheet.

What's your favorite hotel closest to Edsa?"Hottest Women" is subjective. Also, it can be hit or miss depending on the day / time that you show up. It is commonly thought that KTV bars have the best women available to foreigners, but you will pay dearly for that.

Having said that, I'm a fan of EDSA Entertainment (avoid the establishment on the left of it, Urban something or other); 2-3 nights is all you will need. Try the Heritage Hotel which is pretty much right across the highway, accessible via a pedestrian bridge and a 10 minute walk. Midas Hotel and Casino is very close as well; same side of the highway, 10 minute walk, and a bit better than the Heritage. It also has an ATM on premises, which the Heritage and EDSA bars lack.

The Copacabana Hotel is next to the Heritage and may be cheaper, but I'd guess not as nice.

Even with the close proximity of these hotels, the girls will prefer a taxi (especially if in high heels). The cabs right outside of EDSA will want 100php minimum; I believe some of these drivers are their boyfriends. A passing taxi may want 50php.

What's your favorite hotel closest to Edsa?I have stayed at Heritage Hotel long time ago when it was very nice and 5 star. For some reason maintenance has gone down and not so nice now. At that time you just cross the road to get to EDSA. And cross the road again after you pick the girl. At that time also taxis outside hounded us. I laughed at them.

It seems the girls feel some obligation to the taxi drivers. They see them every day and maybe friends with them. But I never used them. I will tell the girl to walk a block and get a cruising taxi to my hotel.

Better class of girls than LA cafe. It does not matter which hotel you stay. Taxi is cheap. I would avoid Heritage because they are not good anymore.

Even in EDSA negotiation is a must regards compensation to the girl. Barfine is fixed.

Even in EDSA negotiation is a must regards compensation to the girl. Barfine is fixed.Either I totally disagree with "better class of girls than LA cafe. " or else I misunderstood the particular way you find them better? In any case, I have always hooked up with very nice, young girls at EDSA plus I find the EDSA girls by and large to be much better looking that LA Cafe FL's. Exceptions duly noted. I also have never felt the need to negotiate with an EDSA bar girl. Their ST price is usually equal to their bar's barfine + possibly 500 p depending on the girl and LT is always an extra 1000 p, although I never book a LT before I have had a 1st time or a 2nd or 3rd time. LOL.

The Heritage has seen better days. That's for dang sure. Aseana City (I think of it as boom town) just west of Roxas is the place to stay with lots of new hotels, condos, apts, casinos, office buildings, shopping malls and restaurants. I like the Hyatt COD because they always upgrade my room thanks to my standing with Hyatt and I also like the availability of 24 hour restaurants in the City of Dreams Casino. But there are less expensive options just down the street, so I recommend this neighborhood if anyone is planning to stay near the bay. Just check with Agoda or Booking dot com to find what you want.

TomSam, don't worry much if the taxi driver is a friend / BF / husband of your date. This is quite common and acceptable in the Philippines. Harming you would hurt their income. They probably chuckle when they think that you are paying to have sex with the girl that pays them. Still, in general, avoid sitting taxis (unless they are in the queue at a Mall) as they will try to avoid using the meter. Grab app and moving taxis are a better deal.

I think the barfine (paid directly to the Mamasan) went up to 2500 php? Then the girl asks for 2000-3000 php ST, 3000-4000 LT. The prices have increased in the last year. The bars have had a hard time recruiting talent as most girls would rather stay home on a dating app than dance the bar's hours for minimum pay.

Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer to select the girl after seeing and interviewing her, as opposed to looking at some blurry pics that may not be current; see the Chat Rooms and Pen Pals thread. Plus there is the stimulation of seeing her on stage and thinking how she'll be, as I enjoy a drink or two.

in general, avoid sitting taxis (unless they are in the queue at a Mall) as they will try to avoid using the meter. Grab app and moving taxis are a better deal.On at least two occasions after pulling away in taxi and then discovering no taxi meter I have ordered the driver to stop and I got out after driving less than one block. Both had window stickers claiming meters had been certified but in reality no meter. One of these I jumped in was standing in front of Mall of Asia. Another time when I ordered driver to stop he quickly asked what I wanted to pay and he offered the ride to my destination for a reasonable fare as I had made the same trip before so I agreed and stayed with him. Some don't have meters because they are broken or just want to gouge and others it appears are freelancing to get fares and will overcharge if allowed. In fairness to the taxis most have meters and use them, and I always tip the driver extra, a big tip if traffic was worse than usual. I've been told the drivers pay the vehicle owner 1200 php per shift to use it and they must pay for their own fuel. I do not understand the reason for the Yellow Airport taxis, they charge more and get preferential staging areas at the airports but why? I never use them.

I do not understand the reason for the Yellow Airport taxis, they charge more and get preferential staging areas at the airports but why? I never use them.Never a shakedown. They are required to have running meters. Yes there is a higher initial payment (flagfall) amount of p70 vs p40, and the meter jumps up at each 300 meters. This will cost you more, but the yellow airport taxis can only make runs from the airport, and I have found the drivers always to be courteous.

I stayed at the Fairmont Hotel in Makati this week. It was nothing special. Like most of the luxury piles in Manila, this needs a facelift. The Christmas decorations were outstanding though and shit all over anything I have seen in my country. I last stayed here a few years ago and I don't remember the rooms looking this tired. The cabinet work and carpet were looking a bit old and the corridors need a coat of paint. They actually don't need to spend any money as they enjoy near full occupancy. I asked the receptionist the reason for such high demand. She said that Filo-Americans book the place out for weeks on end during the Christmas period to "receive" their local relatives and friends and to shop at the malls across the road. It almost sounds papal. Hahaha. I guess it sure beats staying at tita's wooden shack by the river when you jet in from White Man Land. Nothing quite like flashing your greenbacks in front of your poor relatives to make them envious of your good fortune. The word crass comes to mind.

The hotel is completely hooker friendly. They don't take IDs. There is no signing in required for your guest. The elevators are secure, so there is no escaping coming down and doing the walk of shame.

It's very convenient for shopping, dining and wine drinking. I did not eat here. However, I did order room service for the chick I was entertaining. She said the fried chicken wings were disgusting and left most of it untouched. If fried chicken fails the Filipina taste test, you know it was bad.

Save your money. The New World Makati is much better value.

Hotel staff can pick a hooker a mile away. Much better than we can. Their clothes, their makeup and their provincial accents gives them away. Regardless of this, the hotel staff give them superficial respect. It's ma'amsir all the way!

The Shangers was an itch I had to scratch. Big, bold, grand hotel. Staff are very deferential. Almost too much old school bowing and scraping which I didn't need. I liked the business efficient service at New World Makati. But I would stay at the Shangers again for sure. It's classy.

I agree with CSP that the rooms are a little tired. The beech wood panelling is very 1990's as are the coffered, domed ceilings in the rooms.

It's hooker friendly, but the girls have to sign in. They will know the drill better than you do.

I got a good deal on Bookings.com. I think it was around $200 a night.

No need to eat here as there are a million restaurants and cafes across the road.

I was very impressed with the Christmas decorations they have. Went to the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree last night and mixed with the Manila Hi-so and drunk their free champagne. GE will be impressed! Gee, it's a big thing here. Nice to see the Christian tradition alive and well. I'm also wondering where they found that old white bloke to wear the Santa suit. Tickles Bar maybe? Hahaha.

In my country, Christmas will be dead soon. Banned for good in case it causes offence to certain religious minorities we can't name. Schools have already outlawed nativity plays. Don't get me started.

Hotel staff can pick a hooker a mile away. ....They most likely know them by name after a few visits.

Hotel staff can pick a hooker a mile away. Much better than we can. Their clothes, their makeup and their provincial accents gives them away. Regardless of this, the hotel staff give them superficial respect. It's ma'amsir all the way! That always been my advice to newbies who want to know if the love of their life is a good girl or not. Just take her to a social function with other pinas present and watch who will talk to her / she can hold a conversation with. John from Nebraska may not be able to tell but other pinas will know her background within seconds of her entering the room.

If she spends the night talking to hookers done well, RUN!!

Has anyone tried Henry Hotel Manila?

Seems like a nice place (good pictures) if you want to visit EDSA. Cost is not too bad at around 3500 p / n.

I am planning a trip to Manila in the New Year, and have a couple of nice girls lined up from Tagged.

I suspect that at least one of them would be horrified to have to give in her ID at reception so my question is:

* Does anyone have experience of E. G. AirBnb properties where you can just come and go without scrutiny?

No problem at all about registering myself on arrival but would rather "sneak" the girls in.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance!Yes but depends on which ones will or will not ask for ID. YMMV as you can say.

Best is to PM me rather than me give a long list and some sneaky details how to by pass the ID check and let me know any ideas you have for Airbnb places. This would help.

Look forward to the PM JamesX.

Thanks in advance! Most Airbnb will want ID if the girl looks like a hooker. Especially for the first night. A girl dressed in civilian clothes will likely enter with you unchallenged. The secret is to walk straight to the elevators like you own the place, not sheepishly catching the eye of every security guard.

Enjoy. G.

Thanks in advance! My experience at Jazz Residence in Makati about a 10 minute walk from Burgos street and 15 minutes to Green belt was that if you were with the girl, daytime or early evening and she was dressed conservatively it was not much of a problem. About 80% just walk in, alone same time about 50% evenings you with the girl 50%.

Girls alone, especially first time before the guard on duty, daytime 50%, evenings about 20% no ID. Regular girls, that have been there so the Guards recognize her, almost 100 % no ID.

Girl dressed like a pro, with or without you no matter what time almost 100% asked for ID, same if you are bringing back multiple girls.

Thanks in advance!I tell some of my visitors who I think might be (horrified as you say) to be thought of as a prostitue to not dress sexy, instead dress like a school teacher. If they are able to dress like that they usually get in with only a polite nod from security particularly during the morning or daytime. Of course most don't like to dress like a school teacher because they want to impress you when they arrive with lots of skin, curves, and makeup so that you don't turn them away in the lobby. Seems the vast majority don't care if they are carded or not because they know the drill and are fine with it. Besides its not just hookers being logged in, its all visitors, venders, etc. Just tell the girl all visitors have to check in.

Never say "never" Westy.

You would be wise to make sure they turn on the meter and even wiser to hang on to the paper with taxi info.

To set the scene, there was some kind of blockage at the Yellow cab stand at Terminal 3. Taxis were passing up the stand and then getting into a queue, and then backing up to the stand. No, you cannot make this up. There was quite a lot of squabbling between drivers and taxi stand staff. There were also quite a few yellow cabs, but no one was loading during the protracted squabble. One foreign guy finally shouted out, "It's not brain surgery. " This was the high point of the whole episode.

Finally, I get assigned a taxi. The driver asked me where I was going and I said Malate. I was holding the taxi info in my hand and he took it. It didn't have the hotel name on it and I never had a driver try to take it from me before. Red flag? In the taxi I had to ask him to turn on the meter. He said OK. I asked for the taxi info paper back and he kind of flung it toward me. I asked if there was a problem. He said no, but no smile from this guy. I asked again for the meter and he grunted agreement, but didn't make any movement toward the meter. I got out of the taxi. Of course when the taxi stand staff came over to see what the problem was the meter had been turned on.

I was reminded why I dislike Manila so much. Easy solution, I walked 100 meters and waited 30 minutes for the Genesis Bus to take me to AC.

From T3 you could take the Walkway across to Resorts World. It might be faster and certainly more relaxing than dealing with the airport clusterfuck.

Unfortunately, I need to head back south to Manila today because of an appointment tomorrow. X Man.

Never a shakedown. They are required to have running meters. Yes there is a higher initial payment (flagfall) amount of p70 vs p40, and the meter jumps up at each 300 meters. This will cost you more, but the yellow airport taxis can only make runs from the airport, and I have found the drivers always to be courteous.

I wrote of a similar incident last year here on the Board. Driver took the chit out of my hand, and later when I asked for it back, he looked about the console and floor, saying he'd lost it. At the destination he had not turned on the meter. Light late-night traffic to Malate, p180-200 should have done the trick and was offered by me. He started screaming for 500. A ripoff. I find those issues rare. However with yellows, never an issue for me, drivers always professional.

Tried out this bar twice.

Once was around 4 pm in the afternoon until 7 pm.

Place was packed by hookers. Usual rate is 3 k but you have to pay 300. So the hooker can buy food after.

Face value was like 6-7/10.

The seocnd time I went around noon.

Not much hooker.

So sad.

So sad.It true from my limited experience there are not many lookers maybe 2-3 in the 20-30 women that are there, but from the many reports and opening bids that girls have given me I'm fairly certain that you can reduce it to 1.5-2 k, many reports have said 1.5 LT but they don't state what time frame is LT IE picking up a girl at 3 am and having her till 7 am is practically the same as me picking up a girl at 6 pm then having her till 8 pm ST.

Just a newbie question.

If you pay the bar fine. Do you need to pay the girls after?

And how much usually for the tip.

Cause I know you'll be paying 3 k-4 k for the bar fine already. How much for the girl then after the sex deed? Thanks. You have not states where you are asking but generally as per the reports, which I suggest you read carefully, bars in Burgos and edsa have a barfine of 3.4 k then you are expected to give the girl 3-5 k but feel free to negotiate less.

Bars in Angeles is barfine of 2-4 k and a tip of you happy 500 peso, my last trip I was getting only freelancers who were happy with 1 k or 1. 5 k plus taxi, overall Angeles is much cheaper but there are definitely options available in manila at local place where you can get decent looking women for 1200-2200 without the hassle of going to Angeles.

Not even locals in their right mind would choose to ride a taxi when there are alternatives. I guess that all of you use a smartphone. Please download Grab from the app store. It won't cost you a peso. Book a ride from the app. You're going to pay exactly what is displayed on your phone screen. Nothing more. Furthermore, the driver's name, license plate, and car model are displayed as well so if you ever have any complaint it is easy. You can also rate the driver as well.

Take it from a Filipino. I hope I wouldn't have to read another complaint about taxi drivers ripping you off in this forum. It's already 2020 and we should be way past that already.

Take it from a Filipino. I hope I wouldn't have to read another complaint about taxi drivers ripping you off in this forum. It's already 2020 and we should be way past that already.Respectfully disagree (sometimes). I like Grab for its convenience that I don't have to worry about having cash on hand, drivers not making change, drivers are courteous, and so on. But only when its convenient. I use Grab in several different cities on almost a daily basis, so I am a believer. However, the Grab system is dependent on cell tower traffic in the same way your phone is. When the network is overloaded, or your / my phone is in a bad reception area, there are problems. In Phils, this happens regularly. Any cell signal below 4 G (and sometimes even up to 4 G+ with full bars) can cause the Grab app to either be slow, or not work at all. Some pics are provided. In all of these pics, the delay was so long on the App that the App timed out, or I had to get another form of transportation (motorcycle or taxi).

Some Grab code: "Give it a moment to connect" = Go make a sandwich and check back later. "Nothing new here" and "Something went wrong, tap to refresh" = Go make a sandwich and try back later.

Notice in the pic that says Ayala, 4 g signal and either Grab or the network speed was so slow that it could not locate the Ayala mall that I was standing in with my GPS turned on.

In the pic with the map (4 g+ and full bars). Grab / network took almost a minute to find my original location (major mall in the big city), another minute to find my destination, another 30 seconds do draw the green route on the map, and then it timed out trying to find what rides were available in my area (taxi, grab car, etc). However, when I originally pulled up the app a few minutes prior, and before entering locations, the map showed a dozen taxis in the area surrounding the mall.

For the positives of Grab, I still use it. But only when its fast. White taxi's are the go-to choice when Grab isn't being the bomb. Have not had much in the way of any problems for a while with taxis until a few nights ago. My girl and I came out of a bar at the end of our outting one night, 12:30 am, light traffic. At the street a white taxi pulled over right away and the driver rolled down a window as I was still waiting for Grab to connect. "Where you go sir?" BTW, never answer this question while standing outside the taxi. I opened the rear door and ushered the girl inside before me and I hopped in. XYX Residence, guy (4-6 minutes, depending traffic lights). "Its 500". Meter, guy. "No meter. Its 500". The girl, in her naivete, said to me: "You give 500". Wish she hadn't done that. Meter+20, guy, I politely insist. "Five hundred". Pulled out my phone and took his picture, as I said again: Meter, and he turned to say to me 500 again. "F*ck!" I grabbed the girl's wrist and shhhhed her before she said anything. We can sit in your taxi all night guy. Or you can drive to a police station and explain it to them that you refused a metered fare. He switched on the meter and he dropped us at the XYZ for meter + 20. Interestingly on the drive to the condo he was a nice and chatty guy. Never chat a driver thru an open window when discussing location or fare. Don't get out of a taxi just because the driver doesn't want to take you somewhere on the meter (or agreed price that he wants to increase), just grab your phone and read ISG or such. Eventually he's going to want to get a fare and he's going to take you where you want to go for a more reasonable price. These white taxi incidences are rare (non-existent in Grab).

These white taxi incidences are rare (non-existent in Grab).Never had an issue with the white taxis from the airport just those in town but as you noted it is easy to overcome as the driver needs the fare.

The cell site problem is one all over the world where the mobile network is poor.

But such is life and these are minor problems for me that can be overcome. More with a cutie on your arm LOL.

Have an open itinerary and thinking about going back to Manila for a few days. Currently BKK is in the lead because it has better weather, but MNL girls speak better English and I do have a soft spot for Kojax as its everything I want in a gogo bar. I'm looking for a 5 star hotel, that has a decent pool that gets a good amount of sunlight during the day as I want to relax / work during the day and then have fun in the evening. Obviously somewhere in Makati / BGC as I'll be in and around Burgos and the grab out to the bay area would take too damn long. Off topic for this thread, but since I have an extended period available would I be able to get a hotel like this in Angeles and opinions whether its worth venturing out there in terms of girl quality?

I've previously stayed at:

City Garden Grand. Close to Burgos, nice enough but is a good 4 star rather than a true 5 star place. Good room service at a great price. Nothing wrong with this place, I just prefer something a little better. The rooftop pool does get good sunlight, but its small and is busy as people are allowed in to go to the bar / restaurant at the top of the hotel without being guests.

Makati Diamond. Have a great system where if you don't eat the breakfast they preload a card with 400 PHP that you can use at nearby restaurants, and given that Greenbelt is over the road this means I never had to get up early and had loads of food options available for breakfast / lunch. Upgraded to the bigger suites and it was a really nice and spacious room. Room service was good and reasonable prices. I never used the pool when I was there but unfortunately I believe it is an indoor pool, so no sunlight.

Grand Hyatt. Nice enough room. Pool was great. Spacious, well laid out etc. Unfortunately, in typical ass backwards Filipino style, it doesn't get any direct sunlight during the day either because of the hotel tower or another tower nearby.

None have ever stopped me bringing a girl back late in the evening or made me check them in at reception.

It's already 2020 and we should be way past that already.Personally in about 3 years in total here I have never been scammed or attempted to be scammed by a taxi driver. Some have asked outrageous amounts up front but I consider that a negotiation tactic not a scam.

I use Grab if I am somewhere that there is wither a long taxi line or a place where cabs are not dropping off passengers. When I stayed at Jazz Residences, I would just go to the lobby and take a cab that was dropping someone off, usually faster than waiting for a Grab.

In Travoli Gardens, I would book a grab because there was not as many cabs dropping people off and always a wait as others were trying the same tactic.

I am getting deja vu all over again because I responded to your similar query over in the BKK Hotel forum. But that's ok, I like variety too and usually rotate MNL or Jakarta with my visits to BKK. It is too bad to hear that the Grand Hyatt's pool is in shade. I was planning to stay there for part of my next visit. Was being the key word. Likewise The New World Makati has a great pool too that is in shade most of the day. No good for me although I am sure the Filipino and other Asian guests prefer shade.

Ok here is my list of 5 star MNL Hotels with real nice pools in the sun:

1. Makati.

Peninsula - Great pool! Good location.
Shangri-La Makati - I have not stayed here, but pool looks real good. Now that the Grand Hyatt is out I will give this hotel some consideration. Great Location!
Fairmont - I really like this hotel although it was better before Accor took over. Pool is very nice and in sun 10 to 4.

2. Manila Bay.

Sofitel - (on the bay) - great pool and in sun all day.
Hyatt City of Dreams - I like the casino all night restaurants. Pool is in shade in the morning and is crowded with Filipino families ugh, but it gets hot and sunny after 12 pm and deserted. HA HA.
Conrad - I have never been there, but the pool looks real good.

I like to split my MNL visits in 2 parts Makati and Bay.

I'm not a fan of the bay area as I haven't heard good things regarding the quality out there in say LA Cafe etc. Think I'm going to stay at the Fairmont on this visit but I agree with you that the Shangri-La pool looks pretty good and I'll try that out at some point. Think I've decided on going to Manila as it suits my needs a little better at the moment.

Yes, there are scams but if you do not do stupid things like trying to pick up street girls with mamasans or flash your cash and jewelry you should be fine. Agree with some trepidation. I too have walked most streets of Malate / Ermita at every hour of the day. The area of LAC. GPoint. Robinson's / Eurotel, and the Korean area just south, from Roxas over to Adriatico, is pretty rough-looking. But I find it to be only a look. Have walked it drunk a number of times. Have seen gangs of street kids attempting to pick-pocket. Plenty of homeless sleeping on the sidewalks. Yet, never experienced much of a problem in the last decade. I don't worry about it at any hour of the day; even when I have initial inbound jetlag for a few days and can't sleep in the night, I like to go walking in the area because the evening breeze is nice and it works off some energy. And you can get a blisteringly good deal at LAC at 3:30 AM. I want to tell CTC that everything will be fine, but its a dodgy area, and just my luck next week he will write in to say he's been mugged (or pocket picked or such). Go, CTC, enjoy the place. Drink in the vibrant nightlife.

If you are scared take taxi. Make sure it is a cruising taxi and not ones waiting outside.Sammon correct me if I'm wrong. Sammon is speaking of when you depart LAC. Sometimes waiting just outside at the street are taxi's just sitting there, waiting for customers to come out of LAC. Often the drivers are not willing to use the meter, they will want to haggle with you a price to go to your (often times nearby) hotel that is too high. Example: LAC to Eurotel is straight down Del Pilar street 2 blocks south, turning left (east) on to Pedro Gil St, then 3 blocks more to Eurotel. In late evening traffic (very light), it can be 3-4-5 minutes, or about p46-50 on the meter (its 1/2 km, meaning the meter will never tick up the p13 for each km). Assuming the driver is running a meter. Ripoff drivers waiting outside LAC will quote you p300 up front before you get into the taxi. Feel free to ignore those guys and wait for a passing taxi and flag him down (or order a Grab in before departing). OTOH, many gents won't mind paying the p300 as its a dodgy area, and $6 USD is not too much to pay to get out of there.

Also, some LAC girls will not walk out the door with you, they will insist that you depart a minute after them, and meet them just across the street, then get a taxi or walk to your hotel. I believe the reason for this is that the girls are required to buy at least one drink, and they receive a chit for it when purchased. They are not allowed to leave the bar with a customer unless they can provide the chit to the door security. They can depart without the chit if they are not with a customer. Hence, some girls who have not purchased a drink (don't have the money) will only leave the bar separately from you and meet up the street. Some girls tell customers that the customer must buy the girl a drink in order to leave with her. That's not true, she is just trying to get you to pay for the (overpriced) lady drink so she can get the chit and walk out the door with you. When girls tell me they want to go with me for the agreed amount, but I must first buy her a drink, I tell the girl to skip that and meet me across the street after I depart, and that is what happens. Other gets have experience with this last item? Sometimes even the waitresses try and get me to buy this or that girl a drink. Many girls order a bottle of water, which has a cap, and can be nursed for as much as 24 hours.

I can remember once I was walking through the Pedro Gill street, I have seen few street boys pulling bag of a girl walking through near Robinson. Some how the girl survive and was very fearful with the boys. Some were asking money from me very aggressively and I did not made any mistake to give them some, even I felt pity. Because I know once I give money any one of them, than the whole street will jump on me.

Happy hunting.

I'm coming to Manila next month want to do some outcall escorts do have have any hotel recommend. Maybe one that the girl can come up to my room without me having to come down and get her.

Any hotel with no ID check so you can bring more then one girl back to your room. These are two completely different situations. In scenario #1 know of no hotel that would allow an unregistered, unescorted girl to walk in off the street and gain access to an elevator system to a private rooms without notifying the hotel guest first of her arrival and then at the minimum showing her ID to security. In scenario #2 you can bring as many girls back to your hotel room as you wish without any ID check as long as they are with you.

So the simple solution to your initial inquiry is to tell your girls to text you when they are close to your hotel or when they have arrived so you can go down to greet them and bring them up to your room thus skipping the ID formalities, if that is what you want, or let the hotel security do its job ie call you to notify you that your your "friend" has arrived, ask if you want her to come up, and check her ID. Its up to you.

As to any hotel recommendations; I suggest you read the MNL Hotel thread first as there are many recommendations. Then phrase your question specifically to your preferences as regards to location, stars, and price. Note: All hotels in MNL that I am aware of are girl friendly.

Maybe one that the girl can come up to my room without me having to come down and get her. With too many scams in mind you would want to meet the girl at the entrance and escort her to your room. It is better the security checks and keeps her I. D. In case there are any problems security already know her identity. The girls knowing that are less inclined to do something stupid.
Remember hotel security is your first line of defense.

Hi, small info about these 2 hotels close to burgos street.

Clipper hotel.

Price in the range of 2 k for wide rooms, wide bed, hot shower, aircond.

Rooms on street side are noisy but stay ok.

Bit oldfashion but I liked the aviation theme of years 50 and especially the full 1st class Boeing 747 cabin which is under installation in the ground floor. I had the opportunity to give a look, it's a real front cabin with almost 5 to 10 seats able to transform in beds which have been implemented here. Bit crazy, and unclear what they will do with that, seems you can rent the whole for party, or use seats to sleep there. Strange but real plane cabin!!

Oyo 389 alley 8.

Just in the same street, I had an agoda price of 1400 php per night. Rooms quite big, hot shower, silent aircon, but bit oldfashioned here too. Anyway when you want a bit cheap but close to burgos it's cool enough.

One surprising point. I went in with a GF for the night plus a massage girl for 1 h. But after 10 pm. They refuse 2 guests, new policy they said, after 10 only 1 accepted. After long discussion and call to the management they accepted.

Seems a bit strange as this policy I read after don't say exactly that.

Edit : one thing noted also is that when i get contact with more regular girls through web sites, which I usually do, some of them don't like to come when I tell that I am in hotel close to burgos.... Bad vibe for them... Good lesson for me... Must choose hotel in more "normal" place next time !

The Hotel SOGO chain caters to the short time market and has numerous locations. Not the most classy of places but you're only there for one thing. Good security as they always call the room to check everything is okay if one of two guests is leaving. Porn channel on the TV and 24 hour room service. If you intend using one for a few days, check that particular hotel on Trip Advisor as some are good and some are terrible.

In anticipation of future travel. I am considering the Peninsula and Fairmount hotels for 2-3 nights. Both are $100 a night.

I am wondering about quality and girl friendliness? I am assuming both are good accessible locations for outcalls?

Thanks for any useful information.

Thanks for any useful information.I've stayed often at the Penn and once at the Fairmont. I enjoy the Peninsula hands down both as a hotel and to bring guests.

The Penn lobby is very big and is a venue in itself so meeting someone new makes it very anonymous. I've met literally hundreds of new girls there over the years and nobody is watching you. There is a metal detector outside the front door and usually that's it.

The Fairmont had a small lobby as I recall with intense security. I cut short a 4-day stay because of it. The only girl that got through without being grilled was 8 months pregnant and probably they assumed I was the father LOL (met her online and she insisted on coming over because she hadn't had sex in months and was dying for it). Wild action, arching over the big belly to get the job done!

The Penn is an old line hotel that really has class. Its the grand dame of Manila hotels. I also booked it for a trip coming up in two weeks at $100 approx and consider it a great deal.

The pool area is also really nice.

Thanks for any useful information.Dg, I have stayed at both hotels. They both are true 5* so for $100/ night you can't go wrong with either. As far as girl friendly is concerned, all my info is pre-covid, so I have no idea what is going on now, but pre 2020 both hotels were extremely girl friendly.

I fondly remember my 2015 or was it my 2016 MNL farewell party, who cares, that I threw at Bottoms. I brought back 3 girls to the Fairmont. We were all smashed on Tequila (at least 10 shots each). The girls and I were trying to keep it together, but we must have been a site to behold. Ha Ha. Yet the Fairmont staff was 100 % gracious & welcoming towards my entourage and myself. No ID check / no nada / just smiles and that is the way I like it. But the Peninsula is super girl friendly too. I have only brought back 2 girls at a time to the Pen. Nobody cared. So Girl Friendly is a draw.

So what else matters? I will give it a shot:

The Pen has a nicer pool / garden setting. It is really lush and perfect for inviting girls over in the afternoon. More privacy for you and your guest. But the Fairmont pool area ain't shabby either. So, slight advantage to the Pen.

The Pen has a much larger lobby, but the Fairmont's lobby is more elegant. I don't think this matters much, but it is what it is. Advantage Fairmont.

Location: the Pen is closer to Burgos. I have walked it many times. But the Fairmont has easier access to the two high end shopping malls nearby. This is kind of important if you need to run out and get some cokes, mouthwash or something to eat. Advantage Fairmont.

Both hotels have excellent buffet breakfasts. Tie.

Rooms a newer at the Fairmont, but are very nice and well appointed at the Pen too. Tie.

So, I hope this is still relevant info. Have a great trip and let us know how it all works out for you. I know a lot of us are looking forward to returning to the PI, but we are waiting for the all clear ie the Covid BS (the mandates, quarantines, and protocols) to end.

Check and double check as my info might be out of date as I live here, I don't stay in Hotels. The last I knew Peninsular was a quarantine hotel only.A good point. Most hotels closed during the pandemic. Some re-opened and then closed again. A number of hotels quietly re-opened as Q-hotels only. Even my local gals have no clue which hotels are open (and open for Q or for public stays, nor how many guests are allowed -- or when, as the strictness / Alert level fluctuations routinely change the hotel's rules). Few of those hotels actually changed their Agoda or Airbnb descriptions.

A gentle reminder again, to call your digs both one month before your arrival, and again 2 days before your arrival. Confirm:

1) The hotel is open for your arrival.

2) The hotel is not a Q-only hotel, or alternately a Q + public stay (I found some; you'd have to be crazy to stay in a Q hotel). My recollection is that all Red Planet (10 hotels) and Go Hotel chains in NCR are Q-only. Lots of other hotels re-opened at some point as Q-hotels.

The reason for confirming with several weeks between, is that its entirely possible that after your first confirmation, the public hotel might have morphed into a Q hotel, or closed completely. WTF they didn't inform you? Phoning is better, as email might take them several days to read and respond to you (if at all).

Thanks gents for the hotel info.

I will double check the hotel when I am ready to book. Most likely my travel will be late March or early April. I have some business that I have to take care of first (I need the money). Hope it doesn't keep getting delayed. Otherwise I would be there February 16.

My stay in Manila will be 2-3 days upon landing and then onward to Angeles. I have a couple girls and hopefully some of their friends waiting upon my arrival in Manila. The Peninsula and Fairmount seems to be good central locations for them to find.

Usually I book $50-60 a night hotels but my travel and hoeing fund has been accumulating the past two years plus I am 2 years older now. I will splurge a little now!

I could try a different hotel next time. I normally stay in I'M Hotel or City Garden Grand Hotel. Both are very nice hotels with nice rooftop bars. The Firefly rooftop bar in City Garden Grand hotel is quite popular with great views of the city. They also have rooftop pool but not as good as I'M Hotel one. This hotel's pool has a glass floor and you could see the pool if you stand at the entrance. The rooms are also discounted right now because of covid some USD $80. Both these hotels are right near Burgos street so you would be able to walk.

I have also stayed at City Garden and I'M hotel (2 times). Just one problem. Too much noise from Makati Ave.

Really good hotels. The I'M hotel, in particular has an excellent gym, delicious food, and nice spa for massage (don't think they have extras). Their Onsen spa would have been so much nicer without all the noise from Makati Ave (filipinos love honking their horns). Also, as just mentioned, both hotels are very close to Burgos Street (I hope for it to return to previous experience). If anyone still wants to stay at the I'M hotel, make sure to request a room on opposite side (not facing Makati Ave).

I would like to try the Peninsula. Hope I am as lucky as Dg8787 to find a $100/ night room.

DO FEEL FREE TO READ BACK 20 OR SO PAGES (OR BACK TO THE START OF THE PANDEMIC) IN EACH FORUM YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. That will give you an understanding of the covid situation. There is simply too much to explain in order to answer your question. Anyone knows what is the situation with hotels in MNL at the moment? Last year my friend visited MNL and mentionned that he couldn't get any girls to his room because of strict COVID rules.

So he had to move to a condo and even there he had minor issues and had to bribed the guards.

In general if you are bringing a friend back to a regular hotel such as the peninsula or others you will need to show their vaccination card and go through some formalities such as ID. There are for the last couple of weeks guards posted outside all hotels and not doing very much but the word is that Manila NCR may move to level 1 in the next couple of days even if you are a resident. Personally I think the Peninsula and New World and Primaria are overrated. Not as Nice but loads of Ascotts where you might get a bang for your buck.

I wrote the New World Makati and told them I wanted to date local girls and bring them back to the hotel to sleep with me (I cannot remember exactly how I phrased it, but I wanted to make it clear that the girls were one night stands, not serious girlfriends or fiancées). I asked them their policy about this. I received this answer.

Dear Mr. Mamaguevos,

Visitors accessing the guest rooms will be asked to fill up the visitors' form, surrender a government ID, and present proof of vaccination or negative results of an RT-PCR test taken forty-eight (48) hours prior their visit or negative results of an Antigen test taken within the same day. The maximum room occupancy policy per room is strictly applied.

Regards,

Stephanie Chanco.

I wonder if I were to bring a few rapid test kits with me, if I could simply do one at the front desk if the girl did not have a vaccination card. One can get a package of seven for free at any pharmacy in London.

Blah blah blah introduction about safe the hotel is. Then,

"Your health and safety during your stay remain our topmost priority. We remain committed to providing an exceptional and unparalleled experience during your stay with us while maintaining increased health and hygiene measures that go beyond the necessary protocols required by leading health experts and local government authorities, and in compliance with latest IATF Resolutions and DOT guidelines, the following procedures will apply:

Individuals of all ages may check-in. Fully vaccinated guests shall present their vaccination cards upon check-in, unvaccinated or partially vaccinated guests are required to present the results of a negative RT-PCR Swab or RT-PCR Saliva Test taken not more than 48 hours before check-in. No RT PCR test required for minors below 18 years old.

Stay Safe App- the hotel contact tracing system must be accomplished by all guest.

Valid Identification card must be presented upon check in.

Guests are required to wear masks in public spaces within the hotel.

Should there be anything more that I can help you with, please feel free to contact me anytime.

Nor particularly difficult to bring a girl up to your room.1) The trick for all guests will be finding one who is either vaxxed + valid ID holder (not so easy on that last part); or recently tested (paid by you) + valid ID. ST rooms might be another route as they don't require vax or test results.

2) You can download the SS app easily. Same for guests who have a smart phone. In lieu of your guest not owning a smart phone, your residence might allow her to fill out a paper contact tracing form.

Nor particularly difficult to bring a girl up to your room.If you search on Google Play store (I am assuming apple is the same) for "StaySafe PH" you should find it, what you really need is once enrolled is the QR code that is used for contact tracing (take a screenshot of that once you have it), which some venues such as malls, hotels etc. Will scan and save you time filling out manual forms to be allowed entry, it might be more relaxed in the coming weeks but some places still insist on this.

The Philippines being what it is has, many apps / sites for different areas so if you plan to travel around when here, be prepared to install or sign up to a few different contact tracing apps / sites.

Safe travels.

Have booked my trip for late April, thru early May.

I booked the Sheraton Manila Bay, which is the former Pan Pacific Manila. Rebranded in 2019. Will stay there for a week, then will go to the Peninsula, where I booked for 5 nights. They seem to have good rates available, with some added benefits if you book for five or more nights, one of which is late checkout, up to 10 pm and early checkin as early as 6 am. With my flight departing to Guam at 10:30 pm, the late checkout is helpful.

Having stayed at a AirBnB Gramercy Suites condo for 2 visits, also the I'M hotel and City Garden. I know Makati well enough. But don't know Malate.

How is Malate? Probably no bars like Makati Burgos St. From what I read, it's somewhat "colorful", and has more than enough bars. What about freelancers? Not too interested, but never know. Only know three girls from previous visit (Makati) - stayed in contact but really plan to meet more on Tinder, maybe elsewhere.

Hoping for some discussion on the Malate area, whether for night life, day time leisure, shopping, or transportation. I like Filipino food so that should be easy.

Best girl friendly hotels near the action to stay at? Has anyone found a hotel where the girls don't need to show Vax info to allow entry or is this a situation where I will have to "donate" to the staff / guards? Would like something not too expensive with gym and food. Based on prior reports, some girls don't like going to hotels too close to the action, so wondering if there's a good one that's a reasonable distance for walking and girls are willing to go into.

I've narrowed my choices to Ramada Encore Makati and City Garden Grand. Don't seem to be too far from both P burgos and LA Cafe. Price seems to be better at Ramada, does anyone have any experience staying here? I'm guessing its GF as well. Also, I see there's a park I have to walk across, is that a location where WGs would be and is it safe to walk thru it at night?

But although on the map LA Cafe and Burgos don't seem that far, with traffic you are looking at close to an hour ride between the two via taxi or grab. ID and vax card is mandatory everywhere (hotel) for entry. ID is no problem most will have an ID or they will borrow someones ID. The vax card is not a problem as you can download print and just fill in vax card info as needed. Just print up a bunch so you are ready to go when needed.

But, of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder but the ones outside (since they are no longer inside or hanging in the smoking area) are all 0-2's at best. Harrisons is gone, so looks like some have migrated over. To be fair there are a few 4-6's inside, but since they are not allowed to just hang in front of starbucks anymore, they kind of do the racetrack thing like at lizboa. If you have the time you can sit in starbucks and wait. They will pose in front of starbucks, stall on their phone, and then after a while take a walk and repeat. Everything is pretty much online now, if you have data, device, and online account, its like ebay. So, so many to choose from, so so little time.

I just stayed at the New Coast Hotel, two blocks from La Club just last week. Had no trouble walking girls in. You have to walk them out, because if they go themselves they will get stopped and the Staff will call your room. So be a damn gentleman, and walk them and walk them out. No one seemed to bother me there.

Thank you all for the recommendations. Those are great options, and it seems that I'd have to choose between either something close to P Burgos and Makati clubs or close to LA Cafe and the mall. Was hoping if anyone could suggest a location that's between both, somewhat in the middle. As its been stated that the traffic from one to the other is about an hour. My goal is to be able to make it easier for me and my female 'guest' from either end to be able to reach my room easier. Also in the event that I have them come over after work or an outside arrangement. Same with a civilian non-P4 P girl, as being in a hotel too close could make it to where they won't want to meet or come with me to my room to 'watch a movie'. I'm guessing I'm going to have to either choose one over the other and make do with traffic, or is all this a moot point and the girls will come from either end regardless of where I choose (basically make it easier on myself and choose a spot, the girls will come either way, doesn't matter where I am, making distance irrelevant). Hope I'm not being too greedy or difficult, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was just there last week. It's not possible to walk to P Burgos and LA Cafe without taking a Taxi I think. It was easy to get a Taxi, just hail it the same way you do in the USA. Peso from LA Cafe to Maki was 200 peso and less than 20 minutes. There was nothing at P Burgos that was worth it to me. I was glad to be two blocks from LA Cafe and the Mall.

P Burgos and Makati clubs or close to LA Cafe and the mall. .

You will have to pick one or the other. It comes down to what you want to do. If you want to turn and burn girls 24/7 then you may want to stay in malate near LA Cafe as that is the easiest option, but you will only have LA Cafe and Robinsons Place to keep you entertained. If you are planning just the nightlife then in Makati would be better as there is burgos and casa available and a lot of places to shop and dine to keep you entertained. If you are planning to bring girls from outside to meet (online meetups) then it will be easier if you were staying in makati for the girls. Many girls will be scared to travel to malate because they perceive that place as dangerous. If you are still adamant of finding the middle ground, then you could stay in Pasay. Geographically Pasay is not in the middle, it makes a triangle if you plot the points. But Pasay will give you a straight shot to makati and LA Cafe both plus it gives you access to MOA, COD, Baclaran, and all the south areas.

I don't do the bar scene so Makati never appealed. I used to stay there for work a couple of nights a month and at night just did not find it interesting although I stayed at Ayala triangle area which was not very lively. Pasay has MOA but I actually preferred the Baclaran markets as you can see mega malls anywhere. I personally detest LA Cafe. Every time I went there it was crowded and filled with middle aged MILFS. I stay in Malate if I pay. I never picked up a Robinsons streetwalker even though occasionally there would be an attractive one. I always do my hunting on the dating sites, PinaLove, DIA, Tinder and Tan Tan. Sometimes needed to add a bit to the payment for them to come but many either came on LRT or used the motorcycle taxi which is cheaper and faster than Grab. Really as always its personal preference. I like Robinsons Place mall more than than MOA or those in Makati and I prefer Malate for casually walking around. Also some nice cheap condos, check out Grand Apartments in Birch, US $ 40 a night, in the tower directly opposite Robinsons. I got a week for less than US $150 in Bay Area Suites. Heading there in June.

There are tons of hotels near MOA (Mall of Asia), those are all 5 star, but Sheraton is cheaper to stay. There also used to be hotels like the CITADEL in Makati and a few on P Burgos.

In Makati I stayed in Durban hotel, be sure to get rooms upstairs, very clean and not very costly and nice small restaurant open on the street for breakfast or other times too.

Another one was Clipper Hotel but seems they rent apartment now, ask them, a bit old inside but I liked it.

Yes there is a middle, but no I don't think you want to stay there, and even if you did it wouldn't make either commute any easier. You will have to pick one or the other. It comes down to what you want to do.Agree with Transporter. Have heard this question from more than one gent: What hotel is recommended to stay half-way between Burgos / LAC. All of these have come in the past 6 weeks or so, and the gents asking are all relatively new to Phils (one visit previously for a week or so, and years back due to covid probably). I don't know what is halfway between Makati and Malate, but its a legit question. My response is: Choose one. The feeling on the gents part is that they can draw more girls from more areas by being centrally located ("I want to make it easy for the girls to get to me" However, if the girl wants her prize (which might be money, or just to get a date with a nice DIA foreigner), she will get to you (even if it takes her longer to get to you). Don't concern yourself with girlie travel if you are a 1-2-3 week warrior (especially if the girl is from the province and must bus in -- drop her). There will be plenty of gals in either location, and others from other locations who are experts at jeeping around town. There are more girls to choose from than you can shake a stick at. In addition, you can always meet her halfway between her place and yours for a coffee before taxiing back to your "Lady-Vaxxing" Station.

There are tons of hotels near MOA (Mall of Asia), those are all 5 star, but Sheraton is cheaper to stay. See the pic for location. Sea Residences and Shell Residences (and Jazz), located near MOA, are good short-term rentals. The blue box in the pic is MOA, within walking distance (5-10 minutes if you walk fast; longer if strolling with your honey), and have everything you need with grocery store (Hypermart), restaurants, and a nearby Walter Mart also. This is in Pasay, just south of Malate. I utilized these places on overnight 1-off basis. I saw an ad on social media for both Residences advertised both nightly and monthly rates. The units are clean and modern, typical studios, with cooking and balcony, and strong wifi and smart TV's. Advertised was usually p2 k ($40 USD) per night. While I lived in the area, it was nice from time to time to take this or that honey for an evening elsewhere other than my place.

There was never a medical check or covid test needed. I just had to show the unit caretaker my and my girl's ID in the lobby, and he would register us with the front desk and take us up to the unit. Small downside: Had to give the caretaker an extra p1000 deposit, which he would hand back the next morning when I checked out.

After utilizing several times and paying the p2 k, I stopped for a few weeks as I was also using much less expensive ST places for just a few hours (p600-1000). Out of the blue, the advertiser from social media contacted me asking when I was planning to rent one of his units again. Not sure, guy. "You try. We are waiting you back". Sure, will let you know. Can you drop the price a bit (kuripot that I was born to be)? "I will ask the owner". Later: "Yes p1800 for you". A few days later I grabbed one for 1800, and it stayed at that amount for months, and I was taking one about 2 x per month. Suddenly on the social media advertisement the price went from p2000 to p2500. I inquired if I could still get 1800 and was told no. "We have other expense. House in the province needs fixed. Need more money for it". I see. I stopped renting for a month. "Westy when you will rent from us again?" Never, at these prices fella. I got a unit in the opposing tower for p1700 (a lie). "Wait I will ask the owner". A few hours later: "OK he says its ok to p1700". Well, a meeting of the minds!

https://www.searesidencescondo.com.ph/

I also rented on a similar basis in other places, like Birch Tower (Malate, 1 short block from Robinson's Mall). Difficulties here lie in cyclical needs for medical tests and at times insistence on modern, valid ID's (the new kinds, like a driver's license, with a stripe on the back). Also, Malate Bayview Mansion had good rates, but for 1-night renters like me the Admin insisted on recent PCR tests for both myself and the girl. Sad face. From Birch Tower or MBVM, you can walk to LA Cafe and G-Point. From the MOA places its a 10+/- (depending time of day) minute taxi ride to LAC / G-Point / Robinson's. I didn't cover residences near Makati / Burgos because those have been covered ad infinitum.

...My response is: Choose one. ....Even better: Choose one for a couple of days then move if you find a better option. There is no monger law that says you need to book the hotel for your whole stay. If you like it, extend your reservation. If not, move. Worst case scenario? There is a monger apocalypse, your hotel is full, and you need to spend an extra $20 for a couple of days for an upgrade.

Enjoy. G.

Awesome, thanks for clearing everything up for me. Was trying to have my cake and eat it too by being better located, but obviously it doesn't matter. Looks like we'll have too much damn cake regardless of location, to the point of even being somewhat snobby about which to choose from LOL jk. Booked all my rooms for my trip, now for the tedious and daunting pleasurable task of setting up dating profiles. This prob belongs in the other thread, but as you move in between locations (I. E. Different cities for us weekly warriors), how far ahead do you change the location on your dating profile for the next place? 1 - 2 days before arrival or once you're there?

Excellent almost 5 star hotel. I had stayed here long time ago. They have refurbished it. Had a room overlooking the bay. Girls liked it.

Breakfast is top notch. Korean, Philippine, American, Indian, Arab stations serving ethnic food in addition to regular fares. Little bit secluded and need taxi to go anywhere. Room is nice. Bath tub which I used with the girls to soak, separate shower. Room service is expensive. Girls did not want to go out and eat. They have a pool and gym. It is so quiet there and did not hear any street noise you normally hear in busy areas.

As per our hobby any girl can walk in and go to the room. There is no checking. You can probably have any number girls come to your room although I just had one per day. Security is only to make sure there are no dangerous things coming in. Lots of locals come there to eat in the lobby as well as restaurant. Only thing I am not sure is if you bring a random girl after 10 pm. Will they ask for I. The or ask questions? My girls came in the afternoon and left in the morning with me escorting them out.

I met the girls in the lobby and the only time they asked for ID was late Sunday night during typhoon. All other times they did not stop any of the girls once.Respectfully will disagree. You want them to not only stop the girl, you want them to confiscate her ID and force her to sign in, until her departure (and sign out). Failure to do so fails to protect both the hotel and you. If she robs you blind while you are in the shower or sleeping, or does damage to the room or client, they have no way to stop her on the way out the front door. In fact, from your description, they would appear to not know that she was leaving your particular room if she departs on her own.

If she were to do any such untoward thing while in your room, and they hadn't signed her in, that leaves the hotel open to legal claim and hinders any official investigation of your injury (certainly makes identifying the girl difficult). While it would seem, from the point of freedom of getting our ladies up to our room without much hassle (finally), this kind of description of unescorted ladies walking in the front door unchecked by a guard, is distressing. Just a few weeks ago the police were warning of foreigners having their phones stolen repeatedly, at the Kalayaan CGG entrance area.

One reason CGG might not be checking ID's is because of the rooftop restaurant. Requiring the ID of every lady going up there would be a hassle, but in our case, needed. I have used the CGG lobby a number of times to meet my girls (I was not staying there) as a jump-off point of going around Burgos for drinks, as the lobby doors are not watched by a guard. If I (or my girl) arrives early, there were comfortable chairs or couches for sitting / waiting for someone. Every time I went there to meet someone, nobody stopped my girls from using the lobby to wait for me. Cringe-worthy from a mongering standpoint? Or heavenly?

I agree it is safer to have the hotel check ID and call when she leaves but if you choose not to for whatever reason, it is possible. All the hotels I stayed at had minimum security personnel. I think maybe during covid they let go lots of employees and slow to hire back. Previously security was very tight. Yes it is true safety is better if there is security checking girls in and out. But checking in with a girl by giving I. The is stupid idea if you are changing girls daily. Hotel might charge a joiner fee. Besides trying to get a threesome is a hassle. For me I make sure everything is locked up unless I know the girl very well. Even then giving options to a sticky hand will be at your own risk.

Hi guys, recently returned from a visit to USA from my home in Valencia, pi near dumaguete. Stayed at manila airport hotel, walking distance from terminal one. Stayed there going and coming back while going and coming back the long flight to / from San Francisco. The hotel itself is nothing to brag about but the price is right less than 50 bucks. More importantly there is a happy ending massage on the premises 90 minutes for 2 k and decent massage after the long flight. Also KFC next door for convenience. There is also a bar nearby 30 seconds from the hotel with girls available for takeout but I did not partake opting instead for the massage parlor. Plus, if you didn't know, if you fly Philippine airlines (Philippines Always Late) there is a free shuttle to the other terminals for regional flights on PAL.
