Just had my first visit to Artemis and had a great time. Having just done 3 Fkks in Frankfurt though I liked them better, mostly because they're slightly cheaper (65 vs. 80 euro entrance; 50 vs. 60 euro for 30 minutes) and the facilities at Oase were a notch above Artemis.

First visit, Thursday.

Artemis has 4 floors: the lowest has the wellness area with sauna and a pool, but, sadly, no Jacuzzi—a small cinema, and a small bar that hardly anyone used; the 2nd and main floor has the men's locker room and showers and the main bar area, and is where you first enter; the 3rd is all private rooms and off limits unless you're escorted by a girl; and the 4th is apparently some kind of VIP room. Other than a trickle of girls that would periodically check the theater and wellness area the lowest floor has hardly any traffic—good if you want some alone time, but bad if you want to check out girls outside the darkened bar area. When I arrived I guess there was around 40 to 50 girls present, though I noticed some fresh faces started to appear after 6:00 and the place reached its peak of activity by 7:30, with about 70 girls and half as many men, not a bad ratio. The earlier question which was answered about a week ago concerned the lineup on Good Friday and the following Saturday. I was asking about the lineup one weekend earlier than that.

The thing is. I was at Artemis on Good Friday and the following Saturday last year, and I was quite disappointed about the lineup. Place was almost dead. So that was why I was worried. Alhough Connie was there last year, which compensated somewhat for the lacking lineup.

But in general I find the line up at Artemis always pretty good. It is just some of the real stunners that are absent on such holidays. I find that these stunners, while visually all that, are rarely the best sessions. So holidays can be some of the better times at a club like Artemis. This however is from the perspective of someone who lives near by. A visitor may want a bit more thrill for their time at this club.

There are other secondary issues-quality of food, relatively cleanliness, and a difficult to pin down feeling of comfort vs. a vague creepiness in the management vibe. Oase is rumoured to be owned by some motorcycle gang whereas just about everyone at Artemis is pleasant, if not fun and friendly.

First the distances involved are actually substantial, and not easy without a car. Second-the entrance costs would quickly add up. On the other hand, in Berlin, there are at least 5-6 large private apartments with perhaps 10-20 cracking Frauleins each, within 10 min walk (e. G. Prestige).or 15-30 min easy mass transit links from Artemis, with no entrance fee. So even if having a fallback Plan B-G is an issue, Berlin rules yet again (he said sweetly).

I agree that in Berlin the U-bahn and busses rules. When I go to Germany is mainly to visit the FKKs and spending hours there with the girls, I don't go to Germany for apartments-bordellos, I can do that at home.

I always have a car when I'm in Heseen and NRW so it's not a big deal with the distance between the clubs.

finally i had the time to take a vacation day, so i could take a long weekend in berlin. i chose to drive down there from my "cloak and dagger secret location" somewhere in the greater copenhagen / malmö region. even though it is only 400-600km + a ferry each way (length depending on which ferry) it would actually have been cheaper to fly. but i like the flexibility by car, and then most important of all : i like the parts of the autobahn without any speed limit. especially if traffic is light enough to be able to go really really fast without any danger.

Thanks for the ironic and humorous post Rocketboy, which did give me a chuckle or two! But I have to say that despite the excellent humor, I find myself somewhat in disagreement with you.

We are in agreement with regard to the necessity for a 'good report' to contain some information with regard to the FKK / Sauna Club visited, the hookers working in the club and most importantly information relating to the hookers who were taken to the room!

However, if the author of the report wants to express himself in any particular prose style, well that is ok with me as long as the English used is of a good standard, and more importantly as long as the report (as stated above) also contains relevant information about the club in question and also the ladies working in the establishment. Personally, you can learn more from a report (and particularly about the author of the report) by the type of language used in the chronicling of the days FKK / Sauna Club adventure.

The type of reports, which I do find displeasing, are the 'chit chat posts' between Club pals / acquaintances who use the forum as if it were a chat room and who provide very little information for other members. This type of post clogs up the forum and makes it difficult to find descent posts which contain good club information. There are a few acceptable exceptions to this type of 'chit chat post'. A few club acquaintances of mine tend to use this style of post but do inject some good humor and information into what they write. However this is exceptional and this style of post can easily degenerate into 'chit chat' which is meaningless to other ISG Members who are not in the circle of friends. However, after saying all the above concerning 'chit chat posts' I do have to say that at least this type of post keeps the forum alive as there are not a constant stream of high quality reports posted by ISG Members on a regular basis.

Perhaps we should have a Chit-Chat Section in the Germany – FKK Clubs Forum where chaps can gossip to their hearts content. I would be interested in hearing other member's opinions on whether we should have a section like this or not.

IMO the least acceptable type of report is the 'five line post' which contains no relevant information but in some even less acceptable cases sets out to mock another ISG Member. The posters intention is to big himself up at the expense of the ISG Member who is under attack. Sometimes the attack is disguised in a cowardly manner so that only those in the know will understand the true intention of the post. Many of us can be guilty of this type of post from time to time, but if this is primarily the only type of post that we make, well I would be embarrassed / ashamed. Posts of this type create bad feeling amongst ISG Members and prevents members reporting on the detail of their club visits. Many good members have been lost to this forum because of bickering and bad feeling. Many good members no longer report in detail because of this bad feeling. Personally I would like to see an end to this type of 'five line post' and an end to all bad feeling as it is expressed on this board.

I am sure Rocketboy that we will have to agree to disagree with regard to the matter of what is or is not a 'good report'. But thank you for the ironic and humorous manner in which you have put across your opinion and thank you for giving me a chuckle or two.

Still, I'm sure I did all the rest. I do sometimes write very short answers to other posts, I do write reports where I just say I've been to Artemis and all was ok, I do forget names, etc. Etc.

I also understand that ideally all reports should be standardized to be easily searched and that any "non standard" report basically pollutes the report repository.

I think though that if the goal that we want to achieve is to have well organized and easily searchable content a forum simply is not the right tool. We would at least need a flagging system to determine which reports should be searchable and which shouldn't.

Anyways, IMHO, this forum is nice also for the chit chat and for the OT reports. I don't think people should be forced to ask themselves (too much)"am I writing a fully useful report or not?" every time. I think things should just flow a bit.

Thoughts:

1) I think in recent times things have changed quite a lot, in Itay at least, girls are much more active and take much more the initiative that in the past.

Some also say that the aggressiveness of girls is one of the cause of the growing number of guys turning gay, or probably accepting their latent gay side.

2) I think the samples you took to compare guys and girls is not totally correct.

These "five-line-posts" are made by ISG Members who constantly write short reports of an antagonistic / criticising nature which are never more than ten or twelve lines in length. More often than not these "five-line-posters" publish reports of five lines or less. The important factor here is that these short posts are more often than not just criticisms of someone else or indeed just smart comments. The comments in these "five-line-posts" are written in order to "big up" the author of the post at the expense of another ISG Member. The posts almost never contain any useful information and very often those who write these "five-line-posts" just attack or criticise other ISG Members who write long detailed club reports which do actually provide some useful information. In effect these guys who constantly write short critical reports do not contribute anything positive to this forum and actually attack those who do contribute something worthwhile. Perhaps they are jealous of other's ability to write good reports or perhaps they are jealous because they cannot afford to travel to the clubs very often. Of course we all like to see a bit of banter between forum members BUT you have to earn the right to criticise. There are a few ISG Members on this forum who have hundreds of short posts which do not contain a jot of useful information. There are many members who no longer report on this forum or who are more circumspect about what they say on this forum because of the constant barrage of criticism which is directed at them or at others whom the know. Constant criticism of this nature just creates bad feeling and is actually damaging the forum. Of course many of us (including myself) from time to time write short chit-chat type reports which do not have much intrinsic value as such. These reports can clog up the board with useless infromation but they are harmless in intent and at least keep the board ticking over.

What I would like to do is draw attention to the phenomenon of the "five-line-poster" who more often than not just constantly criticises and makes smart comments. I visited Artemis and Berlin for the first time. I took the train to Westkreuz and had no problem finding it thanks to the Angus Magee video showing the way. I only found one place offering something like 1. 37-1. 47 buy / sell when the spot was like 1. 42. I didn't change any money since I had some euros and I just took out another 100 euros from the ATM. I was hoping that Artemis might offer a decent rate as the termas in Brazil do. No such luck. I asked the lady at Artemis if they exchanged dollars for euro. She said they do it at. 60 euros per dollar. Yikes! That's like 1. 67 dollars per euro. When I was in Frankfurt there were many places with decent rates. If anybody knows a good place in Berlin, let me know.

The bus driver spoke english really well with an american accent and told me that it would cost 50 to 60 euros to get a cab from there to Anhalter bhf. He told me to stay on the bus and he will show me where to switch to the M48 which will take me to Potsdamer Plaza. I did that and walked back to my hotel from there. It took me about 2 hours. I really thought I would be stranded in that park until 4am. Learn from my mistakes. It seems that just outside central berlin it is very suburb like and really dead at night. Don't get stuck out there. Learn the train schedules.

Okay, I will attempt this again on Tuesday and see if I can get back to my hotel without getting lost.

But generally you are right, it is good to know that the UBahn / SBahn system shuts down pretty early on the week nights. Get to know the night bus routes or plan a taxi is best.

Learn the train schedules.Just as generic information, I use a very helpful free Android phone application "Öffi. Public Transport Buddy", that gives you realtime information about all lines in Berlin (and in most Germany and Europe cities) , giving you very clear graphical timetables and trip planning.

On Tuesday I rented a bike and rode all over Berlin so I was pretty tired. I also got a sunburn on my arms. I didn't plan on staying at Artemis too long. Burn out itself is a bit in the eye of the beholder. It could be that 2 people just don't click and the man conveniently blames it on "burn out". Different 'tutes have very different thresholds. I have been very shocked on occasion to be with someone who by any standards should be burned out and the session was just great. Burn out can also happen on any given long day, vs say over a longer period of time. But ultimately burn out is a choice. I see many have somewhat irregular schedules, leaving on odd days during mid-week etc. to go home for a week or so. Angus you might know more about this, but I don´t think there is a minimum days stay required, though maybe if you share a room upstairs you have to commit to a few? I actually do think management keeps an eye on burn out, or girls pushing themselves, to an extent. Certainly if it were to lead to complaints.

A very, very few of staff are so money-obsessed that seem to push on, regardless. But I have talked with a number of girls about the whole thing. A quick report on my visit to Artemis last week.
