So, I skipped my lunch to check out the SW area near Potsdamer. After walking for almost 1. 5 hours (got lost a few times), I had seen enough and decided for my first Artemis visit. Arrived 15 min before 3 pm, and by this time was super famished. The counter lady said that dining area would be closed real soon, so I dashed there to find only some cold bread left. I think Artemis, like many other clubs, has its rush hours and dead hours. High seasons and low seasons. Probably you came in during a weekend or a holiday? The trick is to know when are the crowded days and periods and try to avoid them. I often been to Artemis when there were very few men around and the girls were bored. So it all depends. Ideally make sure you come during the early afternoon hours.
Also, don't forget that it is a wellness place. When its overcrowded in the bar, try enjoying the jacuzzi, sauna and pools. For a break at least.

Of GBP 300 in one day. Changing cash from GBP to EUR in the Uk (at a bank or any high street store at least) is an awful option. Of all the countries I have been in the UK has the worst exchange rates and I would lose 10% from market price of I did it here.

I was staying in very good hotel. Walking distance from Artemis. Name. Novum hotel Kronprinz (4 star) . Paying 70 euro for 2 night without breakfast. It was Low period for hotel staying.

If you do end up withdrawing cash from an ATM, then look for a Volksbank ATM as you can select the denomination of notes dispensed. (For Artemis in addition to fifty euro notes some ten euro notes are handy).That's good to know. After all this time, I finally ran into an ATM that give separate bills(can't recall which it was). Not the first time I've heard about ATM limit for guys in Europe. In the US, you tell the bank a permanent limit or let them know that you will be traveling out of the country, and the duration. Once you notify this, their system will not flag large withdrawals. Nothing like this your countries? Is European ATM cards, credit cards? It's not Debit? I use debit card to withdrawal cash from my account through ATM. Credit card is something different altogether.

Airport exchanges are run by Dick Turpin, and will rob you, and ATM's will charge you if using foreign cards, I have seen ATM's in UK airports dispensing Euros, no idea if there is a charge or not, you should order Euros before travel, or do as I do, and use a pre paid currency card like https://www.fairfx.com/ they give a good exchange rate, can withdraw large amounts at ATM, and small fee of €1. 50.

If I'm drawing out 300, that's 3 Euros paid for the 1% foreign transaction fee from the card alone(not counting the club ATM charges), but also if Sharks is fixed to 8 Euros, it's just makes sense to draw out as much as you need for the tour right then. Paradise while back, they had a private ATM that charged 10%, that's 30 Euros for 300 Withdrawn. Even Sharks one if you draw out 80,10%, and even high as you draw out lower funds. Also, there is some foreign transaction fee attached to it in addition. When you use credit card to withdraw at Oase for example, it's high rate, but forget what it was.
Like MrHo says, you got to make a determination if 8 Euros at Sharks is worth it if you got a big boner in urgent need of Euros to session with that girl right away. You got go to the lock room, get changed, head out, find an ATM, and come back. I'd rather drive out at Oase to a nearby Sparkasse ATM, and come back in 15 min, and I'm good to go.

I prefer to change the cash and take it with me from the UK as I normally get a corporate rate and it's easier as FKK clubs transact business in cash as oppose to debit card transaction. Also I usually pay for train tickets and hotels by card some times as I noticed that you get charged the daily rate by the banks for any transactions or payments made in the EU zone. Recently I used my debit card via Sharks ATM, I took out €200 upon checking my statement the FX rate was the daily rate which was higher than the high street but there was a transaction fee of £4.58 and non-sterling fee for ATM at £1.50 so total damage for using the ATM was £6.08 = €8.04.
In all cheaper to get a Euro cash card or carry cash. Also its best to buy your Euro from a specific location that has a buy back guarantee so you don't loss cash when you don't spend it all on your trip.

One thing I notice is a large amount of silicone and a fast, big city hustle vibe at Artemis. I am looking at sharks FKK site and there doesn't seem to be as much of all that. I tend to like less silicone and a more relaxed atmosphere. Though there is a lot to select from at Artemis. I'd like to know where is the most relaxed non silicone places you've been to. All in all, Artemis LU changed a bit. It still is diverse LU that contain many different types of girl, but non silicone teeny type young rather new to industry type has almost disappeared and current Lu at Artemis has strong tenancy on silicone, tattooed up professional looking girls.
In Hessen, Palace is like that filled with working girl looking girl and is with sharky upsell, but if you know how to manage that and trained in Artemis, it can be handled, but LU maybe quite disappointment as it is club for pro looking girls and mainly targeting tourist and this is so even more than Artemis. LU is older at Artemis than sharks and girls are more pro looking and pro attitude in general than sharks, but it is not bad as palace when it comes to that.
But difference is that, in Berlin it is only Artemis, so if you do not like it, you are stuck. Where as in Hessen it is easy to get to sharks, Oase or palace.
My opinion.
But Artemis LU declined a lot and they need to refresh up some of the girls who are over 30.

If you're using tourist attractions (other than FKK) as a criteria, or are taking train / transit and don't want to mess with a car, then I'd say go to Berlin. If you get a hotel in the city center, Artemis is bus / walkable, and I'm betting the train ride from FRA to Berlin would be pleasant. When I did the trip I drove (summer) and it was fun, but 5 hrs each way was a bit tiresome.

Visited Artemis once a Friday night 2-4 AM and then again Saturday around 3-5 in the afternoon. I really enjoyed my time. Great selection of the type of girls that I like. Tis the situation at Artemis. One club. Messe usually draws enough punters, and if there are multiple clubs, at least the punters will spread out over several clubs. Even in Hessen, hard to figure out where most will gather exactly as weekends are typically busy at some clubs anyway, but some clubs will be much busier than another that takes some affect from a Messe. Usually the closest to Messe building (not exactly), but in case of Berlin, you got only one club there.
Artemis being one club could be good or bad, but most often bad, no competition, and of course it's the only option when it comes to club like place for all to attend. Multiple clubs around the area creates competition, which we all have witnessed healthy competitions in our lives as consumers, no?

My first visit to Artemis was an interesting one, in the sense that I could compare it to FKK Goldentime in Vienna, which I've visited on several occasions.

At least her name sounds like that.I would go with her again, but 30 min to see if she perform the same as I did, which was just lay in bed, but I was allowed to do pretty much what I wanted as she seemed new back then and did not know what she was doing. She also seemed young as well and hanged out alone with not towel wrapped around her, but on her waist line only.
So LU at Artemis seems same as last November then. I may hit again in summer to enjoy different LU then as for soon, I may just hit Hessen.
