I beg to differ a bit with "timing" advice offered below.

During the week, turning up in the afternoon can be ok, but still slow. On Sat. it is much slower. In general - most of the A-Team turns up between 6-8pm.He didn't ask about the best time to visit, he asked about the action and atmosphere at a spesific time. You will still have enough action at Saturday afternoon and 2 am, if this is the only possible time to visit. Actually, I would prefer fridays at 2 am before 10 pm (packed).

Anyway, if you have decided to have a weekend in berlin to see what the town has to offer, my advice is to plan more time inside the house of artemis.

My own take on these questions:


1- considering we will have time for our visit from around 2pm on Saturday until 3.30pm on Sunday, what time would you suggest to the 6 of us to show up?

I am not too clear on what exactly you mean here? I take it that this slot (14:00 on Sat>15:30 on Sun.) are the hours you have free. If so then I would say to dedicate a Saturday evening to the club. Arrive late afternoon on Saturday, spend the night and leave when you are exhausted sometime Sunday morning. Does this not make sense? But then maybe I am reading your hours of availability wrong?


2- the web site says the establishment is open until 5am: does this mean if you show up around 2am (Friday or Saturday) there's still a good atmosphere and fun to be had?

Personally I would find this a bit late to arrive. It is not that there would not be any ladies available, but keep in mind that this would be the winding down time of a busy night. Many of the girl might not be as motivated to do sessions or indeed to give their "A" game. There are a lot of variables in play here and you would certainly have to chose carefully to find a girl who is not too tired and still into giving a top shelf session. I would keep this in mind but also know that at a good FKK a good session is possible at any time. You just have to manage your expectations.

i went to berlin for the weekend and one of my must do items on my tourist list was a visit to artemis. i won't bore you here with the other details of my trip.

well, after reading up on artemis on this thread (thanks guys, especially angus magee!) i found it without much difficulty thanks to familiarity with the superlative german public transportation system. after a day of sightseeing i got in at around 9 pm on saturday night. (i will compare it with fkk palace as that is the club i'm most familiar with in the remainder of this report.) my initial on entering the place was that both are housed in similar looking buildings, unattractive from the outside, squat and industrial. inside i found the ladies at the front a little friendlier. i was not as impressed with the changing rooms nor the robes at artemis as it seemed too near the front and not as plush. the showers themselves were much better though. the food and restaurant at palace is definitely better, no comparison there! i quite liked the layout of the ground floor but found it a lot less spacious than i was expecting. lots of lovely girls lounging around was nice and the smaller space made it more intimate but i wasnt impressed initially. i felt palace was much more upmarket if that makes sense. however, this was before i realised that artemis had another floor below which was much nicer than palace and i quite like this idea of multiple levels. the hamam, large pool, lounge, and kino on the first floor were all superb and the bar too. the saunas too. that floor was what made me go from, "i don't know what the big deal is. " to "wow! this place is cool. " the tv screen was another great touch. i spent some considerable time in the saunas and in the pool/jacuzzi after my first session (see presently).

total damage: 260 euros. i think the entrance is a bit steep and so is the 10 euro extra per half hour as when you spend as much time as i do the little extras add up! minus 1 for that. i think its horses for courses and overall neither club is "better" or "worse". it depends on the person (you) and on the girl you choose.

But briefly-my feeling with Bel Ami is that it could be a good place to visit-but not if you are not willing to drop a few euros. The club is easily reachable by S-Bahn 41 or 42, and then walk a 200 metre to the club. I liked the city of Berlin by its easy public transport solutions. This is the first city I don’t have to rely rental cars for mongering. You can do it either by bus, U-Bahn and S-Bahn or simply by taxis, because all the places you might visit are all downtown (though this is a big town).

I arrive in the afternoon, at 3ish, this is my first time in Artemis. And I was tempted to do it for a while, because Artemis was the biggest FKK across Germany (maybe just comparing interior area). I paid the entrance of 80 Euro with credit card, this letting me to have some extra cash for the girls. Now, I can see how it is important the location. Artemis is a city club, mainly for tourists, an no real competition in its class (there are some luxurious brothels and houses nearby but no real big FKK in the perimeter) and the management is taking this advantage in their favour, they raised their entrance fee last year form 70 Euro into 80 Euro, within the economical slow down, sounds strange, huh (It reminds me of a bit of Palace strategy in Frankfurt). But when I see the hordes in the evening, I can safely say this should be nice business for the owner (I heard this Turkish invested five millions of Euro in Artemis and he own also Freude 39 - ex Paradiso in Bochum).
Just from the entrance, to the locker room, you have to climb a few stairs, this is how Artemis welcomes you. During your whole stay, you have to climb, so this will be a nice work-out for your body.

The locker for the wallets are on the left to the main counter. There is also lockers and showers there. You have plenty of bathrobes and towels at your disposal, here. From there, through an alley, to the main lounge. This is a centrally located bar, and there are spread some sitting arrengements such as couches, armchairs and raised floors. This sitting arrengement reminds me of a bit FKK Atlantik in Hanau. But the whole club has an atmosphere of FKK Paradise in Stuttgart, more than Palace. Main lounge is a bit dark. In this floor, there is also the restaurant. As I arrived at 3 pm, the breakfast has already finished, but I was starving. I had to wait until 6 pm, when they started to serve the dinner. I had a coffee and gave myself a tour of the club (as there were no guided tour –they don’t even asked if it was my first time, in the counter, they just take my money and... next customer please...)

The basement floor is arranged as the wellness area. Some long-chairs (very outnumbered and when groups of customer invade there, you can’t use them) towards the indoor pool, two small saunas and another bar and big screen showing football matchs of Bundes Liga (That day, Herta Berlin has a match with another team and this was a home match, the sport arena shouldn’t be far from Artemis, I saw supporters in the train while arriving the club, but Hertha lost in its home, that day). IMHO, I have seen better wellness corners in less famous and less expensive clubs. This floor host also the strange kino and also a gym (if you have excessive energy, you can spend some of, here. I prefer to save my energy for other pretty things. Maybe that’s why nobody was utilising it).

The Line-Up

First of all, I should underline that my exceptation regarding the line-up was much different before visiting Artemis. I would expect more Baltic, Russian, Polish and some German girls. But the reality was totaly different. Artemis was invaded by big groups of Italian customers this weekend (I am not opposed to a nation). I saw also some group of Spanish customers, and only a few of Germans. I don’t know why I cross Italians in Berlin (I met an Italian swinger couple in Insomnia, two nights before), there is no border, not so close to cover this distance by car, maybe good flight connections to a tourist attraction.

My guess, if the constant clientele of the club are Italians, so the line-up is switched up with the Romanians girls, which can barely speak fluent Italian language. This was my deception when I checked the line-up, maybe % 80 of the girls were from Romania. In the afternoon, there were only 23 girls, but in the evening, the number reached to 60 girls.
There were three Germans (Rebecca, Chayenne and another unnamed blond from Cologne), two Hungarians, two Russians and one Lithuanian and the remaining were from Romania. Most of the line-up was attractive (even Romanian fake blonds) and the girls were ranging from 7 to 9 in my scale.

First, I sampled a German tall and slim girl, named Rebecca. She was very attractive, but when in the rooms, she was too mechanic and also clock watcher. It is not that often, that I receive bad service from a German girl, but this happen sometimes, I left the room disappointed.

Second choice was a big girl from Hungary, Vivian. She was kinda strange women, late 20’s or mid 30’s. They were attractive enough by looks, but I wasn’t sure about the service I will receive when in the room upstairs. I had an eye to some non-Romanian girls, but when I speak with a few of them, I found them distant and decided not to sample them. There was a Polish MILF which sounds charming, but in variety of attractive young girls, it is hard to decide to session with a MILF, next door type.

As I had an early flight next morning, I have decided to call it the night, at 1 am. Even my damage was small (200 Euro whole day, 80 Euro entrance plus 2 shots for 120 Euro), Artemis was one of the most expensive FKK across Germany. 30 min of session is 60 Euro (slightly higher than the industry average of Germany), the exterior package was ok but the service I receive for my cash was very few, especially compared to the service I received in Oase, World or GoldenTime. As I said earlier, maybe it is just me. Or maybe, the girls know that most of the customers are tourists and not returning back, so they provide few.
For my part, I won’t be returning Berlin till next winter time. I don’t know yet if I am gonna repeat Artemis or not. Actually, I should give a second chance to check it out, but I should read reports before deciding. next time, I want also sample FKK La Folie.

la folie is indeed worth checking out though do not expect too much from it. it is a very small club (really a bar) and the selection can be small. but i have had some fun there in the past. the trouble with the place is girls asking for prosecco in the first minute of contact (a pet peeve of mine) and, if smoke bothers you, this place is legendary as it is tiny with no ventilation-and everyone there seems to smoke.

I have visited Paradise three times. The last time was a year ago so I can't comment latest aggression of the girls. But, when it is founded two years ago, the girls were still pushy. This is manageable, on the other hand. You can tell them you are tired and need some pause and most of them won't disturb you. As far as I can tell there is no ac in Artemis. Maybe some in the bar (not very noticeable when I was there two weeks back when the weather was real hot) but certainly none in the rooms. I think they just rely on the fact that it does not get hot here, really hot, for more than 3-4 weeks per year. That and fans in the rooms which can get sweltering on a hot day. I made use of the cold dip last week.


I do hear that the just put new carpeting in the bar area.

As far as I can recall, when I did this trip a little over a year ago at closing time at 5.00 for an early morning flight, it was around or a little over € 15. It's not very far, but I guess it will be depending a bit on traffic too.

This reminds me of the last time I was in Berlin a few months ago. I was out drinking with some friends just down the Ku'damm. I decided to finish the night at Artemis, so I got in a taxi to take me there.

I don't know why, because German taxi drivers are usually quite honest (not like in, say, Prague), but right away I asked the driver in an accusatory tone how much the fare would be (like "don't try to rip me off"). He said how much and then said he got that question all the time from people heading for Artemis and he couldn't understand why. Here people were prepared to spend hundreds of euros at Artemis without batting an eyelid, yet they were worried whether the taxi fare would be € 10 or € 12 or whatever. He found this very perplexing.

That Palace can do it and include it in the cost of entry means either they are losing money on the food or have figured a way to make it work. You need to be able to prove your identity and nationality. If you have an identity card valid for travel within the EU, that should be enough. A driver's license is not counted as a valid form of identity in Germany, so that won't work however.

I do keep my wits about me on the Ubahn and on the kudamm when approached by Southern European looking beggars. But I do not seriously consider them much danger except they could pick my pocket.

Glad you like the blog. I certainly enjoy writing it and have plenty of ideas for upcoming posts. My only wish at the moment is that I had a wee but more spare cash so that I could research such places as Insomnia, purely for the blog mind you;)

As for the gypsies-well yes as I say we do have people you would call gypsies here in Berlin and as I mention it does pay to have your wits about you in crowded areas such as the Kudamm and on the UBahn. Gypsies are a sort of professional thieving class of people and as such are very good at what they do-pick pocket small crime. Personally I have no quarrel with someone making and honest living as a thief. That is, if that is what they are, and the do it well (I admire excellence in any field of endeavor) then more power to them. Just because it might inconvenience me from time to time is no reason for them to change. Having such folks around keeps me a bit more awake when needed. (I always think that the big banks are far bigger thieves and they do it under the guise of 'business'. A couple of months back Sparkasse suddenly started emptying my already depleted account with a series od service charges basically because I did not have enough money in my account. That is a pickpocket in my books. But don't get me started on banks...)

My point is that these are not really dangerous people but if you want to keep your wallet, keep it in an inside pocket zipped. If anyone stops ypu on the street be alert. As you say they are pretty good at fooling those that need to be fooled. Just do not be one of these.

I visited Artemis last month with my friend. At the entrance the standard procedure. Entrance fee is 80 Euro which is on the high side. But it's a nice club and typical a lot of nice girls there.

My wanting to contact Artemis is to do with another matter, not the videos. I want to do a spoken interview mainly to get info for a book I am working on and plan publish. Names, Nationalities, indeed any identifying information will be changed and/or not mentioned. Anyone who is mentioned will be asked and have power of veto, given the chance to read anything before going to press. I have no intention of outing anyone, even myself. My new job puts me in a more sensitive position than I am in right now.

Artemis has already had a couple of major TV stations shoot videos in the club at open times, though very early in the day and no men were ever visible, the women having their faces blurred. Face blurring is something easy to achieve with any video software. It can be quite cpu intensive and require a fast machine (or a lot of time) because every single frame has to be processed after the "mask" has been positioned (and repositioned in case of movement).

Face blurring is not so effective though. I'm sure any person really close to you that see's a video where your face is blurred might still recognise you from many other details.

In this situation, face blurring might protect you legally but still only slightly protect the privacy of the person filmed. No problem if the person is walking in a ubahn station, maybe more if he is walking out of Artemis or similar place.

Didn't want to make a fuss out of this, just trying to give you my point of view.

Incidentally, recently the German forum has been full of rumors with regard the construction in the parking lot which seems to be getting underway. You can see in the Walk with Angus video an area that is fenced off in the parking lot. Word has it that there will be a terrace, a pool, outdoor jacuzzi, sauna/shower building, grill station and several small session houses. Construction is supposed to finish in December but that seems a little optimistic to me and in any case, opening the outdoor pool in December, well perhaps opening is to strong a word. Next summer though sounds promising.

The new bar carpet is also finished and by reports is very orange.

Another great weekend at Artemis. My first time doing a there and back in one weekend. Up at 3. 30am on Saturday morning, taxi at 4, train and then a 6. 45am flight. Got me to Artemis for 11. 15. I was also surprised to see it as expressly forbidden. But it would not surprise me, were the right approach made, one would find this a flexible rule. That is, if you showed up with the right woman, a pocket full of cash and a good rap you might find this rule bent. I can not say for sure but this sort of rule is often like this. And maybe not? Artemis is owned by a man whose ethnic background probably does not exactly embrace girl girl love. Paid a visit to King George Flat-Rate Club last night with Angus Magee.

It is a very small club with a bar area and a small lounge behind, incorporating a pole-dancing stage - all a little bit 'worn' but comfortable enough. To the rear is a corridor leading to the 'Zimmers' each of which is relatively sparsely decorated and furnished, but clean and with a shower in the room.

99E was the entry fee - all drinks included. I must have had 6 or 8 vodkas during our 3 hour stay. Champagne is extra, but standard alcoholic drinks are included. You get a few 'pole-dance dollars' with your entry to slip inside the dancers bra or panties and can refill at the rate of one 'dollar' for one euro.

There were 7 or 8 girls in attendance, ranging from one or two who one could categorize as pretty, a mid-section of 4 or 5 'do-able', and one piglet. All of them were Romanian.

There was some pressure to fork out for 'Piccolos' at the usual exorbitant rate and a constant stream of entreaties for 'dollars'. This is not a proper mongering parlour - this is a tourist trap. It's not an aggressive scene, and they do want you to have a good time, but if you are a mug then you will get taken for as much as the girls can squeeze from you. However, Angus and I are pretty experienced in such matters and we quickly and firmly established our authority, whereupon we were able to enjoy a pretty fun evening.

The girls are very much amateurs. By this I don't mean that they are 'hobbyficks'. They are young and inexperienced working girls who don't really know their trade yet. They come across all 'vamp' in the lounge, but in the room, whilst willing, they show their inexperience. This was quite refreshing in a way after several weeks of almost continual attendance at Artemis.

I had the one session only with a dumpy little thing called Anka - a blond with decent tits but a bit of a tummy. What she did have was an endearing personality and a cheeky attitude that emerged as the evening progressed and manifested itself most clearly in the room when she fell off the bed from hysterical laughter as my intended CoB finish (30E extra) actually ended in my own face. It felt comfortable to have Angus as company at KG and the fact that there were 2 of us made it easier to make it clear to the girls that we are not 'newbies' to the P4P scene who can be mucked about. This made it much easier to create an atmosphere whereby we were 'in charge' and could thus have a bit of fun with these 'silly litte girls'. As a consequence, it turned out to be a good evening.

I happened to go back to Artemis afterwards (I had popped in earlier during the day). The contrast upon entering the lounge at Artemis couldn't have been more stark. The girls there are so confident and professional, whereas KG had felt much more 'amateur hour'.

I enjoyed our evening at KG, as much as a distraction from the serious business of mongering as anything else, but I'd have no reason to go again. The looks and service from the girls just doesn't warrant a return (btw - there are pretty much no 'extras' available - CiM, CoF and anal are all 'off the menu'), and even at the 'all-inclusive' price of 99E for all you can fuck, I'd not be tempted to have another visit unless the quality of ladies took a quantum leap forward.

Recommended, but only if you know your way around the P4P world. If you are new to the game, go to a bordelle or an FKK first and find out how things are done properly, then you can pop into KG and enjoy a light-hearted evening's entertainment

Rembember when I ran up those stairs in the middle of the winter, not very pleasant. Maybe I will give it another try if everything seems OK.

Does anybody know exactly how much it cost to ride with the S-bahn from Zoo-garden to Westkreuz?

It's not the cost I'm worried about but I want to know exactly what coins i need to take with me so i don't have to change money at the station, and also which train should I get on?

Last time it took me a lot of time to figure things out at the station and I've forgotten it all it because I was so stressed out.

Hi Norjan,

Cost from the Zoo-garten to Westkreuz is very little if that is all you are travelling, €1.30. You can buy what is called a "Kurzstrecke" or short journey ticket which is good for three stops on the S or UBahns. No train changes are allowed, that is you can not go two stations on one line and a third on another. The trip to Westkreuz is a straight forward two stop trip.

Catch the S7 out of the Zoo direction Potsdam Hbf. The journey will take 4 minutes once you catch the train. If cash is not that important to you and the ticket machine confusing (it really isn't and you can change to English or several European languages) the regular €2.10 AB fare will also get you there. It is wise to have the exact change, or close to it, readily available as I find that the bill readers on the machines are often either out of order, have no change or simply keep rejecting my bills because the corner is a bit folded.

At the Zoo you can usually (with in normal hours) find a ticket seller and by pass the machine experience entirely, though to be honest the machines are often a good deal more pleasant to deal with than a surly German ticket seller.

Another tip, buy you return home ticket at the same time. This saves having to fumble for cash alte at night at the Westkreuz station which I know would be a concern to you.

While we are on the subject of gypsies....

I know that Westkreuz strikes you as the gypsy danger zone as it is isolated and generally empty. But where I recommend watching your back is actually the Zoo station. It is a busy place with a lot of action and confused tourists wandering around. This is a much more fertile hunting area for would be thieves to spot a mark and pick his pocket. Once you make it to Westkreuz you are safe IMO.

By the way, one of my other ideas for a video is a series called "Doing really simple things in Berlin" . This would be a series of videos showing just what the title suggests. My first idea for a video was actually to show the operation of the UBahn ticket machines as this is very simple but pretty confusing for a new comer. I will post this on my youtube channel (MrAngusMagee) when it is done, maybe this weekend if I have the time. I will also announce it in the General Info FKK thread.

Sorry for a banal question, but last year there were major works being done on the Zoo - Westkreuz - Potsdam S-Bahn line, closing it effectively. Would have relevance for me on an upcoming visit to Berlin and Artemis. Is the line open now? Thanks.

I was on the line just last week shooting the Walk with Angus series # 1 episode, the walk from Westkreuz to Artemis. The rains were running frequently and on time. I think it has been so for some months as I took this line from the Zoo to Westkreuz myself in July and maybe in June as well. You can also catch another number SBahn that leaves from the same platform and ends up in Spandau. It stops at Westkreuz then heads north but I am not sure which line this is, maybe S 25?

Another really easy way to get to Artemis from the Zoo is to walk down to the Kudamm (you can not miss it, really) and get the M19 or M29 buses both of which drop you at Hallensee SBahn. From there you can either get the ring line one station north (Westkreuz again) or, if a fine day, walk over the bridge, turn right, veer to the left at the Hotel Kronprinz (the street splits) and walk until you come to the main road (Hallenseestr.) upon which Artemis is located. Walk up this sttreet in the direction of traffic flow, under a big bridge (more of a tunnel for you really) and to the right you will find Artemis.
This walk is about 10 minutes and might just be a further episode of Walk with Angus. First though will be the walk from Blissestr. UBahn to KD.
