Here's a true story that might help future Caracas travelers. (shouldn't really be in the photo section, but what the hell)
One night I punched up the website www.sexycaracas.com in an internet cafe and decided on a 20 year old girl named Astrid from an agency called "Secrets of Love". I just went on the website and she is still listed there.
She arrives in the lobby of my hotel and the hotel stafff calls up to my room and tells me that there is young lady here who wants to come up but she doesn't have her i.d. only a copy of it. So I go down to the lobby to see if I can mediate the problem and I meet Astrid. Major hotty! Blonde hair, pretty face cute little strappy sandals and a nice VERY enjoyable body! Small chest but VERY hot!
She and I chat it up a while in Spanish and she tells me that her "boss" is bringing her i.d. - should be here in 15 minutes. So I wait with her and start getting totally "juiced" for this little sexy package! I pop a vita V and buy her a beer at the bar while we wait. About 20 minutes pas and her "boss" arrives with another copy of her i.d.!! She has no idea where the original is and neither does Astrid. Since the next day was Mothers Day and Astrid was planning on spending the day with family there was no way I would be able to see her again. :(
I sat in the bar drowning my sorrows in Regional Light Beer while the viagara wore off. Sad I never spent any time with her except in the lobby.
Anyone traveling to CCS should seriously consider "meeting" Astrid from "Secrets of Love". Tell me how it went and make me jealous! (but make sure she has her original i.d. with her)

reading your story about the good looking latina Astrid...I wonder If there weren't any love motels arround?? On DR,Brasil and in Lima i saw dozens of those.
I agree,not my first option too. Most of the times these places are bad hygiene,cockroches and very unfriendly types at the reception. So if it's possibil i also would avoid this. Certainly no place to stay longer then 1-2 hours anyway!!!
But then again....if Astrid was such a mayor hottie......why didn't you go for this option? I mean you could ask any taxista (or probably herself) were the closest love motel was.

that was a really great collection of information concerning the mongering scene in Caracas. However I have a couple of follow up questions that I will post here because I guess they are of mutual interest to all of us.
The sites you posted look pretty good, however some of them have girls for more than $100 AN HOUR. I admit they are gorgeous, at least on the pics. What would you say is a NORMAL price. How much should you pay?
Also, what is Angelus? A bar, strip-club, massage parlour?
Where and what is Sotano? What do you mean with be careful leaving Le Magnifique, Saxo, what is the security situation there and when is the action? Only at night?
How much are the girls that you find in these places as compared to the girls online?
Sorry about the lot of questions. Trying to plan my vacation and have NO info so far ;-)

All the websites are more expensive than what you can get if you read the clasificados from the Universal Newspaper http://www.eluniversal.com/clasificados/22B.shtml and there is a reason, mostly of these girls are chosen and trained for a better performance. For example There is a hotel close to plaza venezuela called cuatricentenario (ask the room number at the front desk) where you can get a lesbi show and two girls for US $ 40. and the average fare of a lot of masajistas(escorts) is between US $ 20-30.
Sotano means basement, ANGELUS is in the basement of Centro Comercial Bello Campo, It is a mix of strippers club with bar but they have a special vip room full of mirrors where many people can be fucking at same time, I girl I know told me that sometimes some politicians use these vip room and spend in one time up to US $ 6.000.oo, so you can say it is a massage parlour too.
Le Manifique, Saxo when you come in/out you must be careful because all the people will see you are a foreigner maybe drunk and a piece of cake if they try to steal you. I have to tell you take care, I don't want you have problems. If you take care nothing happens.
Girls, the places I mentioned have good meat and also the website perhaps
the difference in those places could be the day (thurdays, fridays and saturdays have more movement so you'll get more merchandise) other days maybe less but the girls working can treat you better because have more time to attend you.

I was just curios if you could draw a comparison between Colombia and VZ, girls of course. While Colombia is still great I get the feeling they've seen a fair share of westerners already. Thanks and sorry for the off topic.I've been to Colombia 4 times. Cali is safe as long as you know where to go.
For first timers I recommend that you know somebody there before going. There are areas in Cali where Colombian them selves will not go. This is also true about other cities. At North of Cali, closer to the mountain side is known to be dangerous as well as the center where they have street shops is not a place to wonder around even in middle of day.. Not all areas in Cali is dangerous, South of Cali is where more up scale people live. Malls are safe and is fun place to go and look and even meet girls. Make it easier for your self and meet a girl before going there.
Cartagena is more touristic and safer. Boca Grande area is truly touristic. The Old town has it's dark side too, but again If you want my opinion, I never worried about security in Colombia.

Crime rate and poverty rates are off the charts. the darling of the left, Chavez has caused a drain of the middle and upper classes, whom are leaving Venezuela. I don't know about racism against darker skin people on the rise in venzuela, if anything I would think that the racism would be diretced at the fairer white skinned peoples of Venezuela, for they represent the upper classes, the people whom hate Chavez and the people whom Chavez steals from.
Caracas is very dangerous. Colombia is a much better option, except watch your ass in Cali and Bogota especially.
I've been to Colombia 4 or 5 times: Cartagena/Medellin/Bogota you've got nothing to worry about any more than you would in Panama or Mexico. That wasn't my question though.

1) Crime is up in Venezuela, poverty is DOWN. But crime IS up and significantly.
2) In Colombia Bogota, Cartagena and Bucaramanga are all relatively safe, comparable to some of the more dangerous American cities like Atlanta, Miami, LA, Orlando, Houston, etc. Cali and Medellin and Barranquilla are more dangerous, comparable to Rio, SP, etc.
Colombia is easier to fly to these days.
I think this discussion belongs in another thread though.
I get the impression one needs money and time in VeneZuela to be sucessful. even with the non-pros. And i here the attitude of the people is just nasty compared to the neighbouring colombia
Colombia on the other hand is alot easier apart from Medellin.

There is no comparison between going to Boca Grande, Medellin and staying at the penthouse. And mongering in Caracas. Caracas is akin to a miliitary mission. Watch your ass at all times. The rewards are the hottest women in the world.
The only place I have ever been mugged is the United States and I have been to some shitholes.

I never listen to what the locals say about safety and security, as they always tend to exaggerate. Just like the State Department does.
They only remember the time that someone was killed in a neighborhood perhaps ten years ago, building the story up into an urban legend in their minds.
Most fail to ever calculate that millions have safely gone about their daily business there ever since.
Throughout Latin America, whenever I have been told of a part of town to avoid because "no gringo will come out alive," that is were I have gone to make my best friends and score the easiest women.
The fact is that these people are usually astonished to see their first white person, and they often act like groupies in front of a rock star. Men and women both.
I am NOT saying let your guard down. Keep your situational presence and escape plan handy at all times.
But take anything the locals and taxi drivers tell you wth a very heavy dose of salt, or you will miss out on the true local color, along with some good times and fascinating experiences.

It is clear that he was saying Medellin is safer. But there is not even a word about Cali, Peru, or Brazil.
One might as well have guessed that he meant third or fourth after the Ukraine, Malaysia, Bahrain, and maybe Belize.
Everyone knows this is all subjective anyway. And everyone is entitled to his own opinion.
I've been to Medellin. Many chicas looked great, and I would go back, but it certainly is not # 1 in my book.
How many chicas will the average monger actually see while visiting somewhere for a week or so: 100? 1000? 5000?
Even if it was twice that, it is only a tiny sample out of a country with tens of millions.
Besides, all I need is to find is one who pleases me. Well, maybe a half dozen would be nice.
I have all the respect in the world for Ricker's opinions, and I have seen his photos. I know he has spent a great deal of time in Venezuela. So I think I'll place it up there with any country.
Someday, I hope to see a sample size of 100 or so Venezolanas for myself...

I am just basing my opinions on the Latinas I have seen in BRazil and here and most of the Venezuelans didnt look that hot and has an aire of lofteness and a bad attitude which I found distasteful. Nearly every Colombia I have seen toped the charts in beauty, politeness and graciousness. Even the rich ones. Brazilians too were a close second. VZ girls just felt a little different. Maybe if I go there i might change my mind. Having said that it wouldnt be smart to land there just for mongering. I would scope out the place if I knew someone that knew they're way around. Each to their own though.

I've been all over Colombia many times and know Caracas and Maracaibo, Venezuela pretty well.
IMHO, the hottest chicas per square inch. I've seen in Caracas.
Hanging out in or near Sambil Mall in the afternoon. Unbelievable the amount of beautiful chicas.
The mongering scene is not quite as easy there and the pricing is higher, but fun can be had, especially with good Spanish skills.
Caracas is very high in street crime, I had an attempted mugging there also.
I found some anti-american sentiment there also. Never found in Colombia by me. I even had a hotel turn me down for a room because they didn't accept US citizens. Crazy.
The upper echelon Venezolanas are definitely more stuck-up than the Colombianas I've found, but many sweet chicas can be found in Venezuela also. I'm itching for a new Venezuelan novia :)

I have traveled to Venezuela 2x, and yes a veces (at times) doing the "walk-around" in CCS can indeed be alittle tense - but typically its the danger down there and the concern for your safety that has kept a lid on prices.
If Medellin Colombia gets any safer (on my trips there I haven't had any concerns at all) the p4p prices there will soon be on a par with Cancun and Acapulco Mexico.
By 2010 maybe on a par with Las Vegas. :(
Caracas does indeed have some of the most beautiful women on the planet, good prices and just as important Polar beers are 3 for $1 US in the supermercados (lol) :D

Lately I have been thinking about taking a peak at Venezuela. 4 gringos so far have compared it to Colombia saying the women are even more gorgeous. Thats something I never thought I'd hear but then again this is all subjective and each to their own. Although I hear they tend to be more arrogant and unfriendly. But who cares?
