But even trying in more regular places is challenging. I don't live here but I've seen enough questions on Quora and Reddit, both men and women, complaining on the very hard dating scene in the UAE. You have to keep in mind that many people come and go, all the time, so most people aren't interested in dating someone that might leave at any time. There is also a huge imbalance between the number of men and the number of women, so there is a very tiny pool to choose from for men. And amongst this tiny pool is a lot of gold diggers, professionnal hookers, girls that have a full lineup of men. Then the expectations here is much higher.
