Met a new girl that I was really into last night. But 3 minutes into our conversation, "waiter number 32" comes over and tells her in Spanish to drink faster because he has a customer lined up at another table for her. She chugs her beer and leaves within 2 minutes. Comical as he wrote her a fake ticket to cover his interruption of our conversation. Yes fuckhead, a girl gets two tickets with each drink? And yes, I do understand Spanish.
One thing about new girls is that they get used by smiley waiters to buy drinks, whereas girls who have been there for more than several months will tell the smiley waiters to fuck off because 30 pesos for a drink means shit when compared to arriba for 800-1000 pesos.
Avoid Waiter number 32 like the plague. He's a tall older dude with a mustache. He will team up with a girl and suck every dollar out of your wallet before you realize what is up.I like the new design that the tropical is going for. Anybody try that place?It is the Mermaids massage parlor and a waste of money. $40 for a 1/2 hour massage, tips are negotiable with the girls. In other words, you overpay the house for a cramped room used by dozens of other guys and the girls end up getting peanuts. It is best for newer visitors without a clear idea of what they want. Over the last year I have only seen one attractive girl there and she was getting some fresh air. I said Hello, bought her a cup of coffee when she only wanted a sip of mine and asked her to meet me at Tropicals after her shift. She did, I had a very good time and paid her generously for her company. My standard Tropicals rate yet about twice what she generally gets at Mermaids. I could be wrong and Mermaids split the fee evenly with the girls. However I am apprehensive about paying anyone other than my particular girl.

This has happened to me many times. Also, if you get too drunk, they will slip a "date [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123)" type of drug into your drink. They did this to me one night. All I remember is that everything was fine from 8 pm until 10 pm. After 10 pm on that night, I do not remember anything. I have been dating one of the girls in the bar who I was with. All I remember is waking up in her apartment at 4 pm the next day, feeling totally drugged and out of it. She told me that I was most likely drugged. That the meseros there do this all the time. They put a powdered substance into drinks which subsequently leave the victims in a state of not knowing what is going on and then they rob them. She said that they do this a lot of times when guys treat the women bad. The girls have some sort of signal they give the meseros to fix the dude's drink.
My advice to you is to tell the meseros immediately that you want your change and call them out if they short change you. What I started doing was asking them to bring the Manager over the first time they pulled this on me. That usually puts a stop to it or order directly from the bartenders. I would recommend drinking beer only and telling the meseros that you will open the beer yourself.
On this night I was drugged, they stole $200 from my wallet and left me with $10. Probably to cover my taxi fare. How nice of them.

I usually check Tropical out when I am in La Zona. Tropical's girls are mostly heavy and odd-looking. I have never found any girl there who look nice, clean, wholesome, sexy, feminine. Ect. The bar is kept dark to hide the girls' ugliness, so you never know who you are picking up.

Some girls start in BT because they're shy about their figure, find it difficult to attract customers in normal clothes, and decide that money is more important than modesty and transfer to HK.
BT is closer to a regular bar, some girls will only sit and not even go upstairs especially if they're new to the business. Some will go but only if they like you. You have to be somewhat of a regular to time things at BT and avoid all the waiter Mafia BS. This is the place to go if you are looking for a GFE experience. BT is a very small community and what ever you do or not do gets around real quick. So if one girl hates you, they will all hate you. And if one likes you, they will all like you.
Think of BT as a soft Puta bar, a bridge between a sleezy nightclub and a Puta Bar.

Within the bar block, a couple store fronts apart are bars Hong Kong, Las Chevelas, Adelita and Valentina. They all have some good-looking young girls, worth checking out.
I found a few pretty spinners in Las Chevelas Tuesday last week. They were sitting on their asses bullshitting and working their iphones. They all have large tattoos from their legs up to their butts. Hehe.
There are a couple good-looking spinners in Adelita. Their prices are uniform at $60 plus $12 for the ST room in Coahuila hotel.
It's pretty safe to walk around and hang out in that pussy block since it has lots of security cameras, policia patrol and bar touts. Street girls are all busy working their iPhones. WTF? Anything you utter in ISG get broadcast around la Zona. Hehe.

She had to go back to Sinaloa cause her Mother was sick. She told me she had no desire to work in HK as there are too many women in there and too much competition. Although she wouldn't have any problems since she is so attractive. She likes Tropical because she is probably one of the hottest looking chicas in there and she can sit and be bought fichas all night long because of this. She doesn't want to go "arriba". Just drink ficha after ficha. And the dueno loves her for this. Because of all the drinks she gets dudes to buy, the dueno will often kick in extra money for her and pays for her to fly to and from Sinaloa to visit family. She she has a pretty good gig.
She shared some things with me that I never thought about before. She is a hair stylist by trade but in Mexico, unless you own the salon, you are going to make peanuts. She has no high school, or Prepa. Therefore, her job opportunities outside of La Coahuila are limited if she wants to make enough to pay her rent and buy food. But she did tell me that she absolutely hates having to sit with guys that try to grope and feel her out all over. She said it makes her feel like a worthless human being when guys treat her like that. This is especially true of the locals, and there are a lot of them in Tropical. She said her family would disown her if they knew where she was working. This is what some of these poor women have to deal with. Treat them nice. She did say that most of the girls that work here have kids and younger boyfriends. These boyfriends pretty much leech off of them. Many sitting at home doing jack. She also said that about half of the women do coke or meth regularly and that the waiters will seize every opportunity to rob and cheat the patrons. Including slipping them mickeys when they are drunk. She says this happens all the time.

Recently I've been saying the waiter's name as I pay him: "Antonio, I need change for 200 pesos. " That way he knows I remember his name.

I think that the first thing she said to me when I bought her a drink was "why did it take me so long to buy her a drink?" She is kind of stuck up. Or simply very serious. To me at least. One day I'll get her to drop her guards.
Horse, the Tropicals waiters were so bad that now the managers have to be on the floor. I guess there were enough complaints. I know that I was in the manager's office at least twice in the last 12 months screaming my head off. Nevertheless, it's a great idea to do what you do. Must let them know that you are the boss.

She has probably worked a total of 5 or 6 times in Tropical in that last year and a half. I have helped her out financially as she hates working there. The times she has worked there are those where we got in a fight. And that has happened a lot, because she is a stubborn pain in the ass and her end goal is to make me jealous to get her way. She is selfish as hell. When we fight, she calls this dude who is from Iran, but lives in San Diego because he will sit in Tropical and buy her beer after beer all day and all night. She drinks about 30 of the small Tecate lights that he buys her and of course makes the money off of him and gets to drink all night. She's no idiot. At 8.00 a pop for 30 beers, he is blowing a lot of money for nothing. And the idiot buys her flowers on top of the beers! Last Thursday, we got in a fight and he met her in Tropical. During the end of the evening, he begged her to be his girlfriend. She told him that she was sorry but that this wasn't going to happen. He asked, why not? She told him, I love my boyfriend Riky. He got pissed off and left. She does not do sex with anyone as she gets bought beers her whole shift and the owner kicks in additional monies because of the business she draws. So guys, beware of women like her. You may think you are going to get in her good graces by buying her copious amounts of drinks, but the bottom line is that they are in it for the money and they are great actresses. This girl can drink one of those small beers in probably 4 minutes. Don't be fooled. Move on if you encounter something like this.
If you ever see her in Tropical, steer clear of her or your night will be ruined. If she doesn't like you, I wouldn't put it past her to signal the waiter to slip a mickey in your drink. She told me she has done this many many times and gets a kick out of watching the poor fools practically fall off their chairs. She has blond long hair, braces, a nice rack and she is beautiful. Medium build. She has a full lower back tattoo of my last name on her back that starts with an "M" with a bunch of Irish Shamrocks. She also has a large tattoo on her left bicep of the Santa Muerte. I just re-read Riky's post and realize he was drugged only once in BT.
It was his getting short-changed and / or having a long delay in receiving his change in BT that has happened numerous times to Riki.

I am pretty sure Yamilet arranged to have me drugged one night in Tropical. One Friday night she asked me what I wanted to do. I told her I wanted to go to Chavelas. So off we went. My favorite mesero, Omar works in Chavelas. He is the best, most honest waiter in all the bars in the Coahuila. We were talking to him and having some beers. After a few beers I had to take a leak, so off to the bathroom I went. When I came back, some dude was talking to her and left real quick when he saw me return. He bought her the biggest arrangement of flowers and they were sitting on the table. I got ticked off and asked her why she accepted them from him. She told me that she told him that I was her husband but he said he didn't care. I took the flower arrangement and walked over to him and threw them in his face. Telling him in Spanish that you don't do that kind of stuff with a woman who is with another man. Of course he wanted to fight me, at which point Omar and a couple of other waiters came over to put a stop to what was about to happen. This fool didn't know that I know all the waiters and that they look out after me. The next thing I knew, a man and woman policia walk in the place and throw him out of the bar. I guess it pays to have these meseros as friends.
We decide to head over to Bar Tropical. Of course, the same out crap starts with the meseros short changing me and not bringing my change back. The next thing I know, I woke up in Yamilet's apartment at 4 pm the next afternoon, feeling drugged out of my mind. And guess what, my cell phone is missing. Well, we head to Rosarito and have a good time. The next day, I started getting calls from several of my female contacts on my phone. She called several of them calling them putas and various other names. This included two ladies that work for me. They all had to block her number. Talk about being embarrassed as heck. So to make a long story short, Yamilet had to have had me drugged so she could get her hands on my phone to see who I was communicating with. To this day, she will never leave me alone about all the "putas" she saw on my phone.
So why do I actually like this woman. Hell if I know.

My favorite mesero, Omar works in Chavelas. He is the best, most honest waiter in all the bars in the Coahuila. We were talking to him and having some beers. After a few beers I had to take a leak, so off to the bathroom I went. When I came back, some dude was talking to her and left real quick when he saw me return. He bought her the biggest arrangement of flowers and they were sitting on the table. I got ticked off and asked her why she accepted them from him. She told me that she told him that I was her husband but he said he didn't care. I took the flower arrangement and walked over to him and threw them in his face. Telling him in Spanish that you don't do that kind of stuff with a woman who is with another man. Of course he wanted to fight me, at which point Omar and a couple of other waiters came over to put a stop to what was about to happen. This fool didn't know that I know all the waiters and that they look out after me. The next thing I knew, a man and woman policia walk in the place and throw him out of the bar. OK. I have another story about Yamilet.
On another night, she and I decided to head down to Las Chavelas for some cervezas. Once again, we wanted to visit my mesero friend, Omar. The best mesero in La Coahuila.
So we are sitting in front of the bar by the dance floor on one of those high tables. She is drinking Tecate Lights and I am drinking Sols. We go out and dance several times to that god awful Ranchera music they play pretty much all night in this bar. I never understood this place playing that crappy Ranchera all night. They might be able to draw more gringo business if they started playing some American music like they do in Hong Kong. Like most of the bars in La Coahuila, most of the owners need a basic Business 101 or Marketing 101 class as they have no clue how to draw repeat business by running drink specials, etc.
As we sit down after a dancing to a reggaeton song by the worst excuse of a musician ever (Daddy Yankee), one of the girls that I had hung out with previously in LC when I was there solo one night came up and kissed me on the cheek. She kind of blind sided me. Then she smiled sexily and walked off. Well, that didn't sit well with Yamilet. She stormed over to the girl and I saw them both arguing. My mesero friend and another waiter had to tell her to go back and sit down with me. So she did. Of course, I knew that there was going to be hell to pay. She didn't say a word to me for about an hour. The next thing I knew, my glasses were stripped from my face. She took them and proceeded to run out the front door. I went after her and saw her standing outside. As soon as she saw me, she literally threw them to the ground. One lens practically shattered and the other flew about 10 feet away. She then broke my frames in half and stepped on them for additional effect. Now mind you, she did all of this in front of a Tijuana policeman. The policeman grabbed her and restrained her. I started thinking to myself, this chick is going to go to jail. The waiters told me to get back in the bar. Now these glasses were fairly new and the lenses were progressives. Meaning I paid about 300 for them only to see them ruined in two seconds. And I couldn't see for crap without them.
Back in the bar I sit down. Much to my surprise, a pretty young thing (no play on Michael Jackson's song PYT) comes and sits with me. There is a buzz in the bar as a result of all the action. Well, the next thing I know, I see Yamilet back in the bar. She proceeds to approach the girl I am with and punched her in the side of her face. Four waiters had to restrain her and haul her out front. The same policeman restrains her. I'm thinking she is definitely going to jail. To make a long story short, the policeman was young and handsome and put her in a taxi telling her to go home and sleep it off. After this event, all the meseros in LC started calling her by the nickname they coined which is "La Diabla".
Well, as in typical Yamilet fashion, to make me jealous and [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) me off, she met her fool friend the next night in Bar Tropical who bought her copious amounts of drinks. I walked into Tropical to see if I could find her. When she saw me, she started kissing this dude in front of me to make me mad. That's the way Yamilet rolls. Of course this dude is too stupid to know that she is playing him. Even after telling him that she loves me.
I had to drive back home to Orange County the next day and I couldn't see crap. I had to go to my optometrist on Monday to get a whole new pair of glasses.
I have another story I will tell you all later. This one involves a rather large kitchen knife in Yamilet's hands after drinking all day in Rosarito and the sorry aftermath (at least for me).

Luckily she didn't get hurt. I would never lay a hand on a woman. Although I had to get the fuck out of there. It was the craziest shit ever!

OK BeHeMoth904, in the spirit of entertainment, to bring fond memories of your Brazilian girlfriend, and to educate others on this site of the types of chicas to stay away from, here is another, in a series of Yamilet stories. Let's call this story "Yamilet Wields a Mean Knife. "
So Yamilet and I went to Rosarito one Saturday. We first went to a Chinese restaurant across from the Hotel Festival called "Kim Lee. " I swear this is the best Chinese food I have ever had. Following our lunch here, we headed over to Papas and Beer. Fun place. We have been there several times and know the waiters pretty well. As a result, they place a lot of music that we like. Anyway, we spent the day drinking cervezas and dancing while sitting at a table overlooking the beach. The next thing I know, she says, let's have a couple of tequila shots. So we order a couple of shots, of which she imbibes in about two minutes. After the shots, she wants to go down and listen to a band on the beach playing "banda" music. I'm sure most of you are familiar with this music if you have frequented La Coahuila on occasion. You can't miss it. It is the loudest most God Awful music I have ever heard in my life. But very popular in the Mexican state of Sinaloa where Yamilet is from. As we head down to listen to the band, she proceeds to tell me she wants to dance. I'm like oh crap, I don't want to dance to this crap. She drags me out on the makeshift dance floor and we dance. She immediately gets ticked off at me as a result of my lack of enthusiasm and goes and grabs some dude out to dance with her. He was reluctant to dance with her but I nodded my head and told him that it was OK. So they dance a couple of dances and she comes and sits down with me at our table. In about 5 seconds, she throws a whole plastic glass of beer in my face for no reason and gets up and walks off. I go looking for her for over an hour and she is no where to be found, so I decide to take a cab back to Tijuana. The cab driver drops me off at her apartment (she lives in an apartment in a Colonia close to La Coahuila). I bang on her front door but she won't answer. I can hear her inside the house. Finally, after about a half hour, she let's me in. She proceeds to tell me over and over again how much I prefer the putas in Adelitas and Hong Kong to her and that I am a piece of crap. I proceed to tell her she is a piece of crap. The next thing is know, I see a large ass kitchen knife in her hand. She quickly lunges towards me and I feel two slashes to my right arm. A stinging sensation. I quickly run the hell out of her apartment and hailed a taxi to Chavelas. While I'm sitting in the cab, I feel a cold sensation in my right arm. I was wearing a sweatshirt and a Nike running shirt under it. The entire sleeve of my sweatshirt was soaked in blood! I thought to myself, man, that ***** cut me good! I walk into Chavelas and one of my waiter friends sees my sweatshirt and all the blood. He has me go back to the owner's office and proceeded to bandage me up. There were two. Two inch slashes on my right bicep. And they were deep. I knew that I needed stitches. The following Monday, I went to the Doctor and received 5 stitches in one gash and 8 in another. The Nike shirt that I was wearing underneath my sweatshirt had two holes where she slashed me.
This chick is funner than hell to be with but when she gets mad, there is hell to pay. For me. That's why all the waiters call her "La Diabla. " A fitting name to say the least!
I will tell another story soon. This one has to do with another fight where she took a separate taxi cab back to our hotel. And she had the key! I'm sure you can imagine what might have transpired. Believe me, it wasn't pretty.

Fact: It takes a lot of time and effort to put together a decent Trip Report, and even more difficult with pictures. I know this because I've posted trip reports with pictures from at least 20+ cities outside of Tijuana.

Hola RikyMichaels6, yea it's Mcklipsch from South Texas & I'm doing ok. I read the Tijuana Section all the time. It was 2012 when I last saw you at the Blue Fox in Nuevo Laredo. BabyHuey & I went to Danash in NLBT later that night after watching the MMA Fight on TV. Danash still had a few good looking chicas working there that Saturday night & I partook of a good looking Danash chica.
I have not been to Nuevo Laredo since July 28, 2012-Saturday night. Danash sucked hind tit, they only had a few chicas working & they were all Fugly. Danash later closed down in 2012, the chicas were afraid to work at Danash after the car bomb explosion in front of the club. I was never a big fan of the Downtown / El Centro Puta Bars ie Montera etc. I always preferred La Zona / NLBT. La Zona / Nuevo Laredo Boystown is a shadow of it's former self with very few Clubs still open. It's not worth going to La Zona / NLBT any more in my humble opinion.

While I put up with way too much of this , she is left with a gigantic tattoo of my last name with a bunch of flowers and shamrocks (I am Irish) on her waist for the rest of her frigging life. Ha ha ha. That's what she deserves. The next time some dude does her doggy style, he will get to see my last name right in front of his face as he is pounding her.

- Threw a full large cup of beer in my face in a taxi cab. The taxi driver got pissed and threw her out of the cab.
- Punched a girl I was sitting with in Chavelas in the face.
- Sent numerous photos of her and her Arabian friend drinking beers all night in Tropical. To make me jealous.

I left these last two stories out of my previous posts regarding the infamous Yamilet. Aka "La Diabla. ".
Story one: One Friday night, I had a yearning for some chicken wings while I was staying at Yamilet's apartment. So Yamilet and I head out and grab a taxi. Story Two: I lived in San Antonio, Texas for 7 years before recently moving back to Cali. I invited Yamilet to join me to visit a friend down in Nuevo Laredo, across from Laredo, Texas. Yamilet called me after our break up yesterday. She moved back to Culiacan, Sinaloa and is working in a hair salon. She did share some interesting information with me regarding Tropical. The owner is apparently cracking down on the working girls to make every penny in profit that he can. He told the girls that they cannot bring their husbands or boyfriends into the bar when they are working. So, gentlemen. Lesson learned by me. And a lesson for all of you. Do not get yourselves into this type of situation where you start financing these women. They will lie and totally manipulate you. Red Cross rescuers gave first aid to a 23-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man inside the nightclub called "Tropical Bar". The injured were taken to medical services for their care.
Another 28-year-old man ended up dead in a nearby public parking lot.
Have not been down to Tijuana in half a year but was planning to go on black Friday but seeing this kind of news as well as others news I have seen makes me a little wary of going.

Info from a mesero at HK. A BG was working. Her boy friend came into Tropical and started to abuse her. The manager tried to intervene. The guy shot the manager. Wednesday night Tropical's scrawny security guys gave me a quick pat down. Tropical employs only a few, and they are just not as serious and professional as the HK's guys.

For newbies who want to have a true taste of Mexico, they should visit bars like Tropical, Playboy, Gloria, Valentina ect. Where the environment is dark and dingy, air stale of years-old vomit and [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140), furniture old, squeaky and grimy, music loud and scratchy, chicas look old and odd, wearing funny clothes, sitting listlessly showing no alertness or interest in anyone or anything around them, shifty meseros try to steal your change every time.

I looks stupid to employ meseros when you are near the bar, and all they have to do is to walk a few steps to get them.
I always buy my drinks directly from bar tenders in HK, Adelita, Chicago, Tropical or wherever. And I never tip bar tenders as they work on salaries, not tips. They would not thank you for the tip, but looking at you like your are retarded to give them tips.
That way I don't waste my money on tips and don't have to haggle with meseros.

I was in Tropical with a Honduran friend over Memorial Day weekend, and he brought over a chica he knew with a friend to the table. I was very surprised to see she was a cute petite girl that spoke fluent English! All went down hill, however, when the chicas started sucking down LD like they just come from the desert! My friend also started arguing with the waiter over a shot of Tequila.
I never really like Tropical, and only go there with him because he like "normal" chicas as opposed to Silicon Valley (Adelitas) but the place is changed. Now they play hip-hop and have lots of lights. The band came on later and played Mexican standards though. Didn't take the girl because I just can't see paying the demanded $80, + 16 for room for half / HR. , not including those LD and parking and time and trouble at the border. At times he would have to return to where I was standing, which is also where the meseros come to order drinks. Every time I attempted to say something he would immediately shout something back then leave the area. I have never had a serious confrontation with TB staff in my life so I don't get why the bartender was so pissed off. He had to have mistaken me for someone whom he had a previous history with. Anyhow, I would normally agree with you about leaving with either the money or beer, and normally I would have unleashed hell on the bartender but I was kind of stuck in a precarious position where I absolutely did not want to be noticed. I did not want word going around that I happened to be there that night. I had to maintain a low-profile so I could not create any type of scene that may have been talked about. Yeah so I had to eat it as a $5 dls loss.

That should have cost you $30 mx or $1.75 dlr and NOT $60 mx nor $70 mx. You were actually scammed for $40 mx not $10 mx, unless you received two beers. One thing to note is that TB for a long time used the 2-4-1 scam in order to get you to buy 2 beers instead of one. Instead of just selling you a single beer for $30 mx, they would say they are 2-4-1 and try to get you to buy double the beer for double the price. There is actually a drink menu posted on the wall, just to the right of the bar with all the prices posted and the price for a single beer is listed as $30 mx or $1.75 dls. Playboy pulls the same scam. The only place in the zona with true 2-4-1 is Chicago on weeknights but only your first beer is 2-4-1.

Only one bartender in BT that would allow me to buy just one beer, other bartenders insisted on two beers. Just like CS said, their 2 for 1 is NOT 2 beers for the price of 1. I don't mind buying 2 beers if I'm with a friend, but if I'm by myself it's too much because I like to bounce around between clubs if I don't see any chicas I like in 15 minutes top, and get another beer at another club.

Tropical can be used as a break on Fri. And sat nights when the traffic is heavy at HK. The meseros will pull back if you tell them you are there for a beer and a show.
After some dances, girls will walk around the tables looking for tips and a dollar can also get a grope or whatever.
It can be a welcome break cause sometimes other bars get too jammed.
If the 2 for 1 deal is on then the mesero will hold onto the second beer and bring it to you cold when needed.
The girls are less aggressive and on their phones a lot. You usually have to catch their eye. Less eye candy but the girls will party with you more.
I have witnessed some pretty drunk scenes, but still having fun.

Cc chicas get $500/ day. Ab chicas get $300/ day, $500 if they stage dance. HK chicas get nothing. In HK chicas get commission from fichas and privados, various tips and arriba money. HK management absolutely does not pay any type of wage to chicas. This is a fact that I'm 100% sure of.

What's the going rate for arriba in TB? I was there about a week ago and the chicas are average looking at best and they all quoted me $80 for arriba. Last night spent some time in the Tiki Room. It's kinda like TB's version of HK's Miami but 3 times the size. It's actually kinda nice. As you walk into BT on the far right corner there's a set of stairs. Go up and you'll find Tiki Room. On weekends there is a near-constant foam show.

I hope this addition increases the fun factor for the zone. Any improvements are welcome but this seems to signal that they are stepping into the hk / Adelitas format.
Tropical bar for me was a different place to hang back, drink beer and watch the entertainment both on the floor and in the booths. Always a little drunker and carrying on between the girls and the men. I do realize that HK and Tropical are both under one umbrella but maybe a foam show and a more private setting might kick it up.
