Finally some time to post.

Well normally like me and my friends we would book the rooms through the agency back in Sintok itself where we park our car and its much easier to get the 1st hand infor on the rooms before we go in. Normally we stay at Grand Plaza Hotel because it's in the middle of the Haadnyai town and easier to move around and near to Pink Lady also. But I heard Pink Lady Hotel is much better and cheaper than Grand Plaza. Nevertheless, as long as the room is ok then ok for me. The trip our group is planning will cater to 20 ppl and chartered bus. It's kinda a maiden trip to many of our office staff, and if things are not good back there. We'll change our trip to Tanjung Balai Karimun.

From my understanding Bangkok is a very very big city. I travel to Bangkok around twice to thrice a year for business and i always thought i was staying in the heart of Bangkok until recently. I asked one of my friend and she informed me that i was in fact staying in almost outskirt of Bangkok. Hmmm..feel strange as i normally stay somewhere not far from the Bangkok Airport. Probably it's the same concept as our KLIA, which is located outside the city.

FYI, i stay in Merchant Court Hotel (in Ratchadapisek) on most occassion and i don't think you'll need any guide to cheong as you're surrounded by HCs, Karaokes, MPs etc.

English language is used frequently everywhere in Malaysia. A lot of malaysians can master the language reasonably well. Visitors to this part of the world should have not much difficulty in getting around if they can converse in English.

The so called "new forumers" like me, and many others, have been around but seldom post, for whatever reasons. A forum is not meant for just "providing information", but to "enquire information" as well. To answer or not is totally up to you, and other senior members. I don't know if Malaysian MIB would log on to this kinda forum, I doubt it.

Ok, some information here:

Thanks.Funny question IJag. Are you asking why Malaysia thread has many posts? If so yeah we do speak good English especially at the bigger cities like KL, JB, Penang and such. At any tourist attractions such as beaches, hill resorts or historical places, you should not have problem at all communicating in English. If you off the beaten track you might run into some difficulties understanding the locals English but still you should have no big issues.

Please do nto flame me, because that comment was for member 3186 and not for you. When I wrote "I agreed" I meant I agreed with your comment.
