Despite Sunday 13th supposedly being a dry day, plenty of people were boozing it up. Just they had to buy their alcohol through less official sources or the day before.
Bars tend to close because the purpose is thought to be for drinking alcohol. Not the case at all for some of us.
On a tangent:

As a BKK newbie, you might enjoy the JW Marriott, the Hyatt Regency, or the Sukhumvit Sofitel which are all of similar class as the Conrad, but have the advantage of being right in the heart of the action with "young birdies" plying their trade right outside their front doors.
Still, from nearest to farthest from the Conrad check out Spasso, Mixx, Nana, Soi 4, Patpong, Soi 11, Thermae, Cowboy, Soi 22, and Soi 24 for starters. These "non alcohol days" in BKK are primarily designed for the "entertainment" venues. I saw restaurants yesterday, including a place where I had a hearty Sunday roast, discretely serving beer, or at least permitting the consumption in a discreet cozy. Did a quick trip to Bangkok which was my 20th since 2004 when I first visited. Usually stay at Phachara Suites which is the friendliest and quiet place but this time tried the Grande Central Point. Excellent location but the only disadvantage is that the entire hotel is non smoking. I vape so could sneak some in my room but tobaccos smokers will have a problem.
Around 3 pm visited Doki but it was booked solid. Lesson learnt, always make a booking before going there because its extremely popular. Kept walking and ended up in soi 33 at Mitu. Its very hard to find so do use google maps. You get a vile tasting energy drink upon arrival and an ipad to make your selection. Chose Uru and she provided excellent and eager service, willing to do anything. Mitu gets full marks on cleanliness and functionality of rooms.
Thermae is literally five minutes walk from the hotel and at around 8-9 pm, you don't even need to get inside because hundreds (I know I am exaggerating) of girls are spilling over on the street and are ready to negotiate. Didn't go there because I had something else on my mind.
Visited Mixx around midnight and the quality was horrible especially of the Central Asians. There are a few good lookers but they are for show only, not for hire. The Russians are living in a dream land asking for 10-12 thousand Baht per night and the most you can do for them is not to laugh in their faces. Found a Cambodian beauty who was willing to go for 6,000 for the night. Excellent body, great skin and complete GFE.
Finished the trip with a farewell visit to Doki which always lives up to its name and doesn't give an opportunity to complain.

On a note site, I really appreciated the staff in that bar, waitresses were very polite and never came to bother me and most importantly the working girls in the bar didn't come to disturb me (in the opposite of a bar like Stumble Inn were the WG are very annoying and disrespectful for example).
Hillary4 is very well located, just in front of Hooters where most of the girls are standing.

Soi 7/1 is where the Subway sandwich shop used to be, it shared the space with Sunrise Mexican Grill (also of Margarita Storm) and there was a Thai Bistro upstairs. Well, now the Thai Bistro is downstairs, open for business, and the menu includes Sunrise Mexican Grill fare as well as the expected Thai food.

Thanks.Typically, when we are talking about Soi 7, Soi 7/1, Soi 8, Soi 11, Soi 15 and so on, we are talking about the lower soi numbered area of Sukhumvit Road between Soi Cowboy at Sukhumvit and Asok (bts station) and Nana Plaza (on Soi 4).
None of those sois would be a 20 minute drive from Soi Cowboy unless you are stuck in heavy traffic, of course. It would be no more than a 20 minute walk from Soi Cowboy to Nana Plaza and vice versa. And all of those sois I mentioned are between Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza. Well, Soi 4 is where Nana Plaza is located. Soi Cowboy is off Asok on one end and Soi 23 at the other end. It's only 1 block long.
And it is useful to know the odd numbered sois are on one side of Sukhumvit Road while the even numbered ones are on the other.
Patpong might be more like a 20 minute drive from Nana Plaza/Soi 4 though. Or it can be reached by BTS Skytrain from Nana Plaza area or by MRT subway from the Soi Cowboy area. Just locate it on a map or your GPS and see which methods will get you within easy walking distance to it.

Steve, when guys are talking about soi 7 here in the BKK Reports section they are usually talking about Sukhumvit Soi 7 which is a short walk from Soi 4 (Sukhumvit soi 4) where Nana is located. Just keep in mind that even numbered sois are on the south side of Sukhumvit and the odd numbered sois are on the north side of Sukhumvit. Soi Cowboy runs parallel to Sukhumvit between Asok and soi 23 (Sukhumvit soi 23). Got it?
Patpong is in the Silom neighborhood. If you are staying in the Sukhumvit neighborhood, you will need to take a taxi or MRT from the Asok station or a combination of BTS trains to get there. Is it worth the trip? Yes. A couple of my favorite Go Go's are on Patpong 1 & 2. Specifically Kings Castle 1 & 2 and Pink Panther.

Odd numbered Soi's on the top right and even Soi's on the bottom left. Soi Cowboy is an alley off of Soi 21, Nana Plaza is a large area off of Soi 4.
Walking between the two is good exercise and good fun can be had talking to the FL's on the walk. Walk down Soi 7/1 and check out all the ladies and LB's that want your attention. Good luck and enjoy your visit.

Might be helpful to go up one level further from other posts. "Soi" refers to parcel of land on or near a main road. For Bangkok (and other cities) the parcels were absorbed decades ago and the soi " reference is generally a side street. There are also "sub-sois" which branch off from the main lane. For example LollyTas is on a sub-soi of Sukhumvit soi 8. You will see the soi references in Pattaya, too.
For Sukhumvit, even numbers on on the south side and odd numbers are on the north. The sois are NOT lined up numerically, so (for example) soi 8 is directly across sukhumvit from soi 11.

I like to think of the main areas by the nearest BTS train station, which runs along Sukhumvit, and is a good way to get around.
Nana Plaza is between the Phloen Chit and Nana stations.
Soi Cowboy is off the Asok station behind the Interchange 21.
Most oily massage joints are congregated off Phrom Phong station.
Other places like the BJ bars, and after hours bars, etc are scattered along the way.
If you google (maps) these BTS stations you'll get oriented. If you look at some of the online blogs (like rocketreports) that talk about the oilies, and soapies, and BJ bars, they often have maps of all the places in the smaller areas.

However Sukhumvit road is very very long and goes all the way to Pattaya, Rayong, Traat and beyond.
"soi" is a Thai word meaning lane, alley, sidestreet. If Singapore it would be called Lorong I believe.
Odd numbered Sois of Sukhumvit are on the North side (slightly East of North), and even numbered on the other side. There is no alignment as another poster pointed out. Soi 66 is approximately opposite Soi 101. This caused by very uneven distances between Sois. Sois have branches sometimes with sub-soi numbers but often not.
Soi 31 has several turns and branches to make it confusing.
Many Sois have a Thai name as well as a number e. G. Soi Sawatdi. Some Sois are so major that they have become a "road". Sukhumvit Soi 71 is also called "Pridi Phanomyong" road and it has sub-sois e. G. Pridi Soi 10. Pridi 10 yeak 8 is 8th intersection of Pridi soi 10.
A small soi in between Soi 7 and Soi 9 cannot be Soi 8 because it is on opposite side, and so becomes Soi 7/1, read by Thais as "Soi 7 Thap 1" (they have no clue what is a slash). Thap sounds like Tup as in Tupperware. Two small sois between 64 and 66 would be 64/1 and 64/2.
An address like this " 65/1 55 Sukhumvit Rd, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110" will mean building number 65/1, in Soi 55 of Sukhumvit road. Wattana is a major district of Bangkok (known as Kheht in Thai) and Klong Tan Neua is a sub-district (Khwaeng in Thai). Postal Code is 5 digits.
Some Thai addresses give very little clue as to the actual location so you need to search on Google Maps. Soapy Parlour Victoria Secret (closed now) was very hard to find from its address, and even google pin was quite wrong originally.
"555, Rama 9 Road, Bang Kapi, Khet Huai Khwang, Bangkok, 10310, Khwaeng Bang Kapi, Khet Huai Khwang, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10310" It was located in Rama 9 road Soi 13 but official address never mentioned this Soi, and at one time mentioned "Soi Sun Wichai" (seems to be name of Phetchburi Soi 47) which is somewhere else entirely, just to throw people off the scent I guess.
In days before Google Maps, finding places by address could be very tricky.

It is above the 8 on Eleven bar next to the Grand President and across the street from the Old German Beerhouse.I stopped there to look at the menu last night. Cute and chatty hostess/greeter named Raksa or Laksa standing there. There are 2 levels, bottom level functions as a normal modern slightly upscale restaurant and bar. Apparently, the top floor is more like a sports bar with pool tables, big screens and such, but I did not go upstairs to check it out.
The menu is heavy on burgers, steaks and chops, running from around 350 baht to 680+ baht. I did not notice a roasted lamb chop option but would think there probably is one.
Hostess says there is "some dancing" later but I just saw people dining at around 8pm last night, mostly couples and Farang groups.
The vibe I got was it could be a bit more casual (no discernable dress code) possible FL pick up destination in the Oskar's Bistro style. I saw a couple of outside tables with 2-3 well dressed attractive Thai girls who were rubber necking, looking around to see if they could catch the attention of my friend and I as we stood stood checking the menu.

That's why I find it odd when guys on this forum will say they are in their early 20's but are paying for sex in Asia. "Raksa". Ha ha Means "look after you" until you are better, or nurture. Prices seem standard for Sports bars, maybe slightly above, but some others will probably have a bigger menu.
Very few places have roast lamb any more. So its actually unlikely. Lamb cutlets or lamb chops are more common.
One of the things I love about Scandallo is you can really test drive the vibe. I enjoy dancing with girls and then going to the room later. We were staying next tp Asok BTS which allowed us to explore the areas by foot. We were looking for some massage but most places price were 500 baht which is expensive compared to standard thailand rates and the girls were not nice too. If you and your friend only have a few nights in BKK concentrate your hunting parties in Nana early in the evening and then later around midnight branch out to Thermae and the Soi 11 nightclubs.
But if you have a week or longer in BKK don't miss out on what is going on in Patpong. I highly recommend Kings Castle 1 and Pink Panther. KC1 has a lot of young, thin, pretty, northern Thai girls. It is either the #1 or #2 Go Go in BKK at the present time IMHO. Pink is loaded with very friendly, nice looking girls too. In addition, there is Kings Castle 2, Glamour, and Badabing which could all hold their own against many 2nd tier Nana Go Go's.
A distant 3rd place in my opinion is Cowboy in its current state of affairs which is sad because for most of the last 10 years Cowboy has been my favorite place with bars like Crazy House, Baccara and Shark having great girls on hand. But lately those three bars have fallen off dramatically in girl quality (especially CH and Baccara) and there have been no new Go Go's on the soi good enough to replace them. And if that were not bad enough there is always the ubiquitous presence of the quote unquote Arab's 6 or 7 buy me drink only bars that take up a lot of space and little else. The Bottom line is the whole soi just isn't what it used to be only 3 or 4 years ago. For example, on my last 6 week BKK visit I barfined only 1 Soi Cowboy girl, a wild little thing from Dollhouse whom I barfined around 12:30 to 1am. She was my 2nd girl on that particular night and I had a good time with her.
So you should probably check out Cowboy as long as you are in the neighborhood. Crazy House is still wild at times and you never know unless you go there whether or not you find a couple of girls to your liking. But IMHO, Nana and Patpong are definitely better at the moment. You will notice the difference as soon as you compare a few bars.

No of course many nationalities want to negotiate. Just that some are more accepting when the girl does not want to negotiate. Does a girl have a bad attitude to not wish to negotiate? In my culture, we would just say the girl seemed over priced based on her quality. Actually there are very few things in Thailand that we need to negotiate the price for. Many of us prefer to take metered taxis. I may accept a deal with driver if I am in a big hurry, but not a really over priced one. Unlikely I could ever negotiate as good as the metered price or better. Most things in Thailand have a fixed price these days. I don't buy from touristy street stalls with rip off prices.

They are busy. Why should she care if he does not take a room? They will make more money by taking ST bookings.

Some Farangs have what is perceived as a bad attitude in Thailand for goods where the price can be negotiated, because they will ask the price, and then fail to negotiate or make a better offer, just refusing to buy. Unfortunately many Farangs are wanting to know the price, and not wanting to actually buy. They won't find out the true price by asking. So they should not ask if they don't want to buy. It is just wasting everyone's time. Would be worse if they negotiated the price and finally decided not to buy though.
Not all bargirls in Bangkok want to negotiate (some are willing). Even not all street freelance hookers want to negotiate. Seems they just can't be bothered if they think a good customer will come soon enough that accepts the possibly reasonable price. I have seen both very protracted negotiations (where girl is expecting customer to offer more), and also seen where girl does not make any lower offer nor listens to them. Just not interested.
I have heard one cannot get a decent priced taxi in Pattaya and negotiation does not help much. They all gang up to set silly prices. For me the decline comes from several factors: Yes Agency Girls and Coyotes with excessive barfines, Arab Bars with unbarfinable girls, increase in ladyboys, drinks prices getting to steep especially lady drinks (caused by bars being less busy for customers), high increase is un-subtle surgeries, the change to cater more for Asian customers (chiefly Japanese and Korean), Farangs no longer being the preferred customer, dick scared girls (or overly timid girls with low experience), overdressed girls particularly relating to bras that hide everything, the decline in the types of music that DJs think is listenable, the crack down by government on girls with no Thai ID or wrong age or lewd behaviour, higher levels of girls with teeth braces even.
Very hard to find any aspects of improvement, at least for those who like the old ways. Some bars have cracked down on girls using drugs on the premises. Maybe that can be seen as an improvement (not sure). Some girls still seem spaced out.

I don't think I will be able to contribute much to this thread as it is already full of good credible guidance by senior members.
Started the evening at Soi 11. Sometimes I am let down by my country men. Either too busy selling bad food or hunting in a wolf pack. Grabbed a beer at the Mercure bar because it was empty and the Randy Orton lookalike was doing good cover songs of Frank Sinatra / Grover / Bono. I am talking about entering a store to buy an item of clothing and you can negotiate the price down. I learnt that from experience and discovered that you can even buy electronic items in a store for less than you can purchase them online, India was the only country in which I experienced that. The only place where you cannot negotiate would be a big name supermarket.
I recall that in my last visit to Kolkata in 2014 I wanted a piece of carry on luggage that was being sold by a street vendor and we began to negotiate. I quoted a very low price and we were going at it. It appeared that the guy badly wanted to sell the item and eventually I got it for what appeared to me to be a steal of a deal. After I paid him he was clearly unhappy and after walking away with the item I felt a bit bad about the whole affair. The item is in very good shape up to today with the exception of one wheel that has been damaged. I used that carry on continuously until the wheel got damaged in 2017.

We won't waste time negotiating with Indians because they just waste time offering too low.
I was in China at a market where everyone negotiates. I was looking at some shoes. At the same time an Indian guy was looking at the same shoes and he offered a price that was about 1/10 of what the shoes were marked. The Chinese girl told him no, and told him to get the hell away from her store and stop wasting her time. LOL. I then offered her even lower for the shoes than he did and she didn't kick me out, but she negotiated with me. I didn't buy the shoes because I wasn't really interested. I just wanted to see if she'd kick me out.
I did some consulting work in India a while ago, and the last night, some of the Indian managers joined me for dinner at what was supposedly the nicest restaurant in town (it was a small town, so the restaurant actually was nothing great). They had a buffet at the restaurant. We had the option of choosing the buffet or ordering from the menu. These Indian guys I was with wanted the buffet, but they wanted a different soup than the one that came with the buffet and they wanted it included in the buffet rather than ordering it off the menu. They argued with the waiter and manager of the restaurant for about an hour over this soup. They kept telling him if he wanted the buffet and that different soup, there would be an extra charge for that different soup. I think the soup was like 1 dollar US, so it was ridiculous to be wasting our time negotiating that. Finally, the restaurant actually agreed to include that soup with the buffet (which I did not like because it seemed unethical to be bullied into including it). Those Indian guys loved that soup and raved about it as they ate it. I thought it tasted horrible and I much preferred the soup that originally came with the buffet. What a waste of my time sitting there while they argued over that crap.

Well, I'd say since about 05.Yes I reckon they were still okay Up to 2005 in Cowboy, and declined gradually. I was pretty much happy with Sheba up till it closed (a few years later), although easy to spend too much, although probably avoided Long Gun since several years earlier (perhaps 2005+) , before tall Noi (super body) started working as the front of house girl. I liked a skinny show dancer called Ning, even just to watch her shows. She did a two girl cabaret act that was fairly professional, up till her co-dancer left (not the Phat Pong type stuff). So strangely Long Gun was a bar I would attend regularly for short visits even without barfining any girl.

Its hard for me to remember actual years now that memory is less sharp. Still I can read my very old reports, to find out when I was still doing Long Gun. 2008 I wrote that Long Gun was not a favourite bar any more even though I liked two girls and one waitress (naturally beautiful girls). Looked at some 2006 posts (I used a different handle then). Interesting I wrote that I did not go to Pat Pong any more and it could be avoided (rip off style bars kept increasing). Pat Pong was in its hey day when it had the most bars in about 1990 (I first went there in 1991). The decline already had started. There were still some very slutty bars and full nudity. There were rip off bars, especially in the street connecting Pat Pong 1 and 2 and maybe Lipstick and others. I did not become aware of Star of Light till much later, but still used Pat Pong occasionally into about 2001. I also went to Cowboy in 1991 but was not aware of Nana Plaza at all.
I believe I started at Nana Plaza in late 1993, Lollipop, Pretty Lady, and Hollywood (all on ground floor), and later Voodoo opened. I continued to visit Nana sometimes through 1990's and into early 2000's until the nudity disappeared and Lollipop Mermaidium was stopped. I believe 2002 was the big crackdown with Thaksin coming to power. So that is where I think the Nana Plaza decline started. Right now there seem to be very few bars of any real interest to me at all there. Too many over dressed girls. In its hey day Nana Plaza had about 39 shops, which has declined to 30 in 2015 and probably less now. Many bars open and close again after a short time. Its not easy to make them work. Could be 10 LB bars by now. I did have regular girls at Mercury and Billboard in recent years. They were quite non normal bar girls.

At that time several Cowboy bars had full nudity. Being told that is what brought me back. Long Gun had been a fore runner but was already declining (as Goat pointed out). Relatively little girl full nudity time by 2006, and they were allowed to have big Bush. Suzie Wong had shaved pussies and more nudity and also shows that were erotic (like the lesbian shows) without being the Pat Pong style shows. Long Gun had the ugly shows. Some time later Long Gun improved with some cabaret type shows.
I later became more of a Sheba (Suzie Wong sister bar) patron as they had better girls and music than Suzie Wong. When Sheba closed, I moved to Crazy House and some Suzie visits. I always wanted girls dancing nude, which was long gone from Nana. I had a regular girl at Doll House too. Crazy House was a good bar (for some) when it first opened but it just gradually declined basically from then on over the years. I don't go there any more, and its a very long time since I barfined a girl there. Never was a fan of Bacarrat (due to excessive surgeries and stage too full to see the girls), although took a girl successfully a few times.
So right now it's hard to recommend bars in any gogo area in Bangkok. I have heard of the Pat Pong resurgence, but my visits there did not unearth lots of exciting girls, being a bit picky. One visit with Natty, the girl I liked in Kings Castle whatever was same girl I had already done in Twisters at Nana (was slow to realise at first). Pretty but not quite a perfect body (tits a bit saggy). Probably too much surgeries for me generally. Cowboy still has some bars with full nudity and shaved pussy. That greatly aids me to make a selection with no shocks about the body afterwards.
Not sure what year the Arab bars (these days said to be rip off bars) opened in Cowboy and the LB bars, and large number of Coyotes, but that only hastened the decline for me. Numbers of very pretty naked girls has dropped away. Cowboy gets closer to the worst years of Pat Pong, while Pat Pong perhaps improves again. So the decline of Cowboy started later than Pat Pong and Nana, but probably accelerated at a faster rate.
Some guys were totally fed up with the gogo bars many years ago, but I found it a better venue to give me a chance to select a pretty and fun girl, than MPs. I used to like Soapies heaps in the 90's and early 2000's, but then they declined too for session success rate. I probably did not start at Oilies till 2006.
I think guys can still enjoy some carefully selected Bangkok gogos if they are on a big budget and if they don't mind the surgeries too much. My visits start to get rare. It might not be value for money. Ha ha. I state the obvious.

Day 2 was quite dry and only saviour was Doki Doki. Hung out at the usual spot of Hooter to see street action. They are cheap hippies who like you because you are going with them and pay for them. Just say no and see what happens" I said I cannot go with them as I am too drunk to go anywhere and I need to sleep. Guess what! They also did not go and the taxi driver came hurling at me. This Thai lady intervened and said something to the driver in Thai. He walked away. She looked at me and winked. I thought she was a FL too as it was dawn, she was alone, she was tipsy but guess what. A pajero pulled up and she got in the back seat. It left me wondering. Why and what the heck!
Anyway, I had no clue where the F is Bamboo so just took a Grab Bike and saw Bangkok like never before. Its 5. 30 in the morning, the roads are empty and you can see Bangkok at its best. People setting up stalls, kids going to school, streets being cleaned of last night revelries and the sun yet to come out strong. Got dropped outside Bamboo and guess what. Its closed. Disappointed! Anyway, opposite side I see Grace Hotel. Famous for Arabic and Middle Eastern chicks! Dream come true but its already 5. 30 am. Anyway I go the hotel and immediately got put off by everything about it. Headed to the cafe grab coffee and baklava. Now its a hotel catering to Middle Eastern people so I assume they will have Baklava and coffee. But no, they don't have baklava and only have coffee with milk. So I google translate, milk on the side and black coffee only. Sigh! Saw these three middle age women, of which two were younger than the other one. Kept eyeing and smiling at me. Good lord, its 6 am! I smile back but not long enough to signal her anything. Quickly sip down my coffee and GTFU of the hotel. Came back to my hotel and slept peacefully!
Day 3 was better. To summarize, Mango+SW+Wood Bar+Insanity. Wood bar, caught a cute chick with a name bebe and thai name Kanjanaporn. Try the following places, in my experience of 4 nights trolling at night.
1. Nana Hotel parking (but considering it will 2. 30 am it may be slim pickings).
2. Soi 11 - Insanity club closes at 3 am and people are mostly heading to Sugar which is on till 4/4. 30 am. Hence higher chances of street FL.
3. Cafe Thermae / Hyatt. I have seen lot of FLs standing on the stretch from soi 11 till Thermae with maximum concentration near S15 hotel but watch out for LBs (slim pickings though).
4. Soi Cowboy. Most bars close at 3/3. 30 am so you could probably barfine a girl or catch a girl going on way to her home.
5. Smooci. If all fails, just call someone over. Try the premium package as you can get some reviews by other premium members.
There are other clubs too like Mixx, Shock39 and the one in Grace Hotel but I think you will get local chicks at Mixx mostly. Other two cater to middle eastern / uzbek / CIS / indian / paki chicks.

Got the train then the metro to Asoke, BTS to Soi 24 and a short walk to my hotel where I usually stay, so it was a quick check in. This doesn't happen often and not waiting for luggage is a big advantage. If you arrive and are stuck away from the gates and have to bus in, there's a long queue at immigration and you need to wait for luggage, then under 3 hours is probably impossible.
It's pretty hard to check in at 4 am unless you have booked for the night before and told them you will be arriving very early in the morning.

So, this pickup happened rather randomly.

But I won't book for a later arrival than 9:40 pm. The United / ANA Nagoya route is best for me. I have this one booked again for my next trip.
Anyway, On my last visit I arrived in BKK at 9:40 pm. I slept on the way over. The body was tired, but the adrenaline was pumping and sleep was out of the question. I deplaned, went thru immigration, baggage pick up, and taxi all in pretty good time. I arrived at my hotel around 11:30 pm. Quick shave, brushed my teeth, shower, a new set of clothes and I was standing outside of Thermae a little after midnight and by 12:30 am I was back in my hotel room getting sucked by a little sweetie.
So if you arrive in BKK around 1 am figure you will be on Sukhumvit looking for a nice girl at around be 3:30 am and THERE WON'T BE ANY PROBLEMS. Ha Ha. None. You will find plenty of SW's around AT THIS HOUR or you might decide instead to go to Insanity Club on Soi 11. Another viable option would be to book a Smooci escort as soon as you check into your room. It will take the girl about an hour to arrive at your hotel which would kill this option for me, but you might find it more to your convenience. .
My only question to you is why choose a hotel 3 km SSE of nana plaza for you late night arrival. You would be better served at a hotel right at ground zero (Soi 4 to soi 17) for your 1st night late arrival.
Tips: Don't set your goals too high. Just settle on a nice girl. ST only. Take a sleeping pill (Ambien) on the plane at least 6 hours before your arrival and change of planes in Asia. Then take another Ambien in BKK after the girl leaves so you can get some sleep. That is how you adjust your internal clock. You will then be fine with no jet lag the next day after you get 5 or 6 hours sleep in BKK and then you will be ready for some prime girl hunting the next night. So, this pickup happened rather randomly.
She was cute in her own way with twin braids, nothing to write home about, but she had an amazing ass. Still, I wasn't there to pick anyone up. The Pimp Club obviously intrigues you and I am one of the last guys on this forum who would try to discourage you from going there. I have been there and all I have to say is that with the right attitude and a credit card, the Pimp Club can be a lot of fun and you will meet some very sexy and interesting girls, but here are a few things to consider before you go:
#1 the amount of time you plan to spend in BKK is a factor. For example, if you are only staying here for a week or so the benefit of the Pimp Club declines rapidly unless money is no object and you just want to enjoy a night in the club fooling around and drinking with 3 or 4 girls. The tab for such a night will run you 15,000 to 30,000 baht depending on how many girls you ask over and how long you keep them. You also have the option of taking a girl or girls to a private VIP room for 5000 per hour where she or they will be topless and you will have a lot more hanky panky, but none of the private in club entertainment will include vaginal intercourse, although many Pimp girls will barfine and the barfine is 25 lady drinks + the girls fee of 5000 baht or more for a LT overnight session. Your points are all very valid and a great addition to the knowledge base on the Pimp. So only with the intention to add to your points, not to dispute anything, hereby just a few additional remarks.
Because my free (mongering) time is becoming more and more scarce, I'm caring less about the costs. After all, it may be that my next punt will be in one year, so I will have time to save for my next trip. Your note on the value of memberships sounds very true, it pays off to be in BKK longer. But my spend for one evening can be higher than for a resident. Perhaps it needs to be, as it is more critical for me to hit bullseye with any party during this one week. Residents can think that there will be something better next week. But for me, there will be no next week (in BKK).
As a last note: I will probably not base my decision (whether to go to the Pimp or not) only on the basis of any horizontal action. I will also include the music, a night of entertainment by pretty girls, a good view on more pretty girls, and also the thrill of doing something new. I don't normally take Coyotes due to the ridiculous barfine amounts. Yes indeed the bar getting 2 K for girl to be absent 1 hour or so is a rip off. I hit random Gogos in Nana & SC every night last weekend and also last night (Wednesday).
