Today I'the rather talk about ATM machines which are dispensers of money; I want to specifically address the most DANGEROUS ATM places in Nairobi.

Family Bank Westlands:

Located right before Havana bar and restaurant and in close proximity to other banks like Cooperative Bank, this definitely has to be the most dangerous ATM place in Westlands. I happened to make my way this previous Sunday and I must say the place was not comfortable at all. Despite being deserted especially on Sundays and at night, it is filled with street urchins and gangs. It felt quite restless withdrawing the money despite being in the company of a friend and it would just be impossible when alone considering these guys walk up to you begging for some loose change.

KCB Tom Mboya Street:

This definitely has to be the most exposed ATM in Nairobi. It is in the heart of the CBD and so much open for everyone to see that you're out to withdraw money. Being in the midst of a matatu terminal, it is always infiltrated with some very fishy characters. And what do we have right after that? A very suspicious alley. It is pretty much easier for someone to see you walk in and then follow you afterwards, rob you and then disappear into that alley.

Standard Charted Moi Avenue:

In a very safe area and quite open during the day, it can get a bit tricky during the night. The place gets really crowded with all kinds of people especially hawkers and street urchins. Not considering that the place is also a popular spot for con artists and pick pockets.

Taj Mall:

This definitely takes the number one spot as the most dangerous ATM place in Nairobi. Also in close proximity to the bus terminal, there are robbers always on the lookout before finally pouncing on unsuspecting customers. It was recently featured on kiss radio and many other traditional media platforms after the robberies became a bit too rampant.

KCB Moi Avenue:

At the far end of Moi Avenue right adjacent to Jevanjee Gardens, this is another ATM place that is just a little bit too open in Nairobi. Everybody can basically see you when making an entry. At night someone can follow you and rob you with the Jevanjee Gardens right there to give adequate cover.

Everything evil just seems to surface in this street and the danger comes in the most likely quarters. If it's not street urchins making a go at your phone, then it's the prostitutes hustling up for your wallet as you try to solicit for sex. Don't even get me started on the drugs on sale as you don't want to go there.

Keekrok Road:

Not very far from Luthuli and right behind Tom Mboya street, this is another street that you should be weary of. Quite calm during the day, it comes alive in the night time. First of all let me say that I think this is where you'll find the most brothels concentrated at one place; don't ask how I know. And then those shady bars that stock keg and countryman are a like a million and that's where amateur thugs come in. Try walking on that street at night alone at night and trust me you won't make it to the other end with your panties or rather boxers on.

Ronald Ngala:

That's where Githurai matatus are so what do you expect. A colleague who trust me is the size of a rugby player was robbed in broad daylight by a bunch of old guys who threatened to [CodeWord123] ('http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123') him if he dared make a sound. Ronald Ngala is the only other place in Nairobi apart from Tom Mboya where a guy will walk up to you with a bag of [CodeWord113] ('http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord113') and threaten to mess up your face if you don't part with your particulars.

From one end to the other, be happy if you make it safe and sound. If someone is not trying to pickpocket you near Koja another person is threatening you with needles near Dominion House. Then come to Mr. Price and the probability of a guy coming up to you trying to con you is 9 out of 10. Then if that doesn't happen, one of those street kids rampant near the Tom Mboya statue will try to grab your bag of chips - I'm so sorry Omega - basically expect everything to go down south in Tom Mboya.

Globe roundabout:

I'm sure everyone has experienced the menace that goes on in this area especially to motorists. Even after making numerous news headlines, the situation doesn't seem to improve as there will be this guy and another trying to grab your phone. And if you try to seek refuge and make your way in that lane near Kahama hotel, then be lest assured even your eye brows will be stolen.

But appreciate your concern.You should have said all that the first time and you would not be misunderstood. No debit card allows online transactions unless it is a debit / credit card backed by Visa or MasterCard, ect. My credit card gets declined all the time when I travel, but in Kenya, I don't even try. The credit security dept. Is on the other end laughing and rejects me automatically. You might be out of luck with getting a membership. Surely you understand the reservations of members because of your initial statement.

Have been reading this forum for the last few days and there are lots on interesting insights. I had a question for member regarding choice of hotels (am travelling on company expenses), I can choose between Villa Rosa Kempinski and DusitD2 a new hotel in Riverside.

The location per se for me is not important since I would be mongering out (have a few identified ladies who will come over). I am more concerned about the the being guest friendly nature of these two options as well as the walk for shame experience. I have stayed in the Sankara before that it was GH Friendly and short walk to the elevator although the lobby is small and hence everyone notices.

Decided to take a quick break from work and see friends and family. Having booked my flight, I contacted the travel department of my cards issuers to get authorization for international travel and was out to Kenya with $200 in my wallet. Apparently this place is smack dab in the middle of the "stroll" and no self respecting lady will bother going here so any woman seen here is either a waitress / bartender or peddling wares period! The selection available was phenomenal from slim skinny chicks to top of the range mega butt donk's! Waiter inside offered me a table but I opted to hang out by the barbecue guy which gave me priority intercept for any chick walking in from outside or heading to the ladies restroom. Crowd is decent 30 something civvies unwinding with friends no ladies of the stroll were detected other than a very pretty Masaai chick who paid extra attention while I was withdrawing at the ATM downstairs.

Decor inside is modern there is WiFi if browsing the web and updating Facebook statuses are your thing while at bars are your kind of thing. The beers are in the 220 range and the bathrooms have an attendant inside who I tipped some ksh for keeping the area spotless and fresh smelling while I was handling my business.

Not a knock but I found the crowd on the lame side and you'd not pay me to go spend time here unless I was with my friends.

Another night another venue this time we're in semi upscale Hurlingham on a Monday night at Tamasha listening to reggae which was a first for me. Back in the day the only people listening to reggae were goons who'd be found at Madhouse / F1, F2, Monte Carlo and Club Hollywood causing a ruckus and robbing anyone they'd encounter after clubbing was over what a change! As an aside the fixtures inside these joints that used to be frequented by these folk was bolted down now the direct opposite.

The parking areas in-front and behind Tamasha are not paved and you have to be drive super carefully otherwise your undercarriage will pay for it. There is a guy outside watching the vehicles so there is nothing to worry about. Beers are decent and are in the 200 range. There was a lone half Kenyan / Ugandan talking about 5 k but I dismissed her super quick as her looks didn't match her asking price. Crowd is lower to middle class and I did spot some NGO type females in here admiring my looks and height but unfortunately there wouldn't be any white meat consumed during the duration of this visit.

The music was chill reggae and if you enjoy reggae this is a good place to checkout. I'm not sure how long they're going to be open as the newly built apartments that surround this place will surely say something about it once they move in. With civvies you're going to have to put in time / effort and unfortunately that was not on my side.

A taxi would be of no use as I'd be sitting in traffic for at least 2 hours minimum so I instead went to Simmers and ordered a few beers and some chips / fries with chicken while I waited for my company to leave work.

Being early, the selection was slim and mellow so I basically chilled. Wasn't much action going on after so I bailed when my company arrived. The hardcore pros were already posted outside on Muindi Bingu and Standard st but I wasn't that much interested in them. I must say these girls can and will go toe to toe with regular civvies in the looks department but they'll also slip you some drugs when you're slipping so you constantly have to be on the lookout when dealing with them.

Tips.

-No need to carry cash use the local atms after scanning your immediate location. It's safer to eat the low international transaction fees rather than worry about stashing currency in nooks and crannies in the hotel or luggage and then having to look for a forex bureau afterwards when in need of changing the money. A buddy nearly lost $3 k at CDG when security asked him to place his wallet on the scanner then delayed the line thru the scanner thus allowing one of them to pocket the money which was only returned after he got really LOUD.

-If you're carrying a newer smartphone that is unlocked, carry a sim cutter that allows you to cut down regular sims to micro sims and then to nano sims for iPhone etc.

-File the rough edges of your newly cut sim with a nail file otherwise you'll end up like me with a stuck sim tray and no way to communicate when you're at your destination.

-Roaming charges suck. Looking at you AT&T!

-Always good to have a wing-man or trustworthy taxi guy who'll take you around in peace when needed not an option for many but an investment in my opinion.

-Start mining social media and Craigslist Kenya early folks locals, take time to warm up these amateurs on social media on the other hand know what the business is and don't meander much.

-Invest in whatsapp strap up and enjoy Nairobi is nice!

ThanksWalking in CBD in the area you mentioned isn't so bad at night. I have walked from this clubs many times at night back to my apartment on Koinange St. There are places walking at night isn't advise, I always try to stay on the main paths and not take the thru alleys. Cheap hotels in CBD are just that, cheap. My friends visit and they always stay Chester House which is a decent place but last I checked was around $180 a night. Kenya Comfort is cheaper I think but I have never been there. Also across from Simmers is a hotel I think is named 680 hotel but not sure the prices. Just my thoughts.

Relatively speaking its quite safe. I've done it time and again, late at night.

But like all areas you have to have your wits about you. You have to bea able to blow off touts without them getting aggressive, ignore druggy sw's you don't want, and you have to walk fast knowing where you're going.

Don't be drunk, loud and drawing attention to yourself, don't wear watches, jewellery or advertise yourself as a well off foreigner. Walk purposefully even if you're looking for sw's.

Koinage street, simmers and the other tourist areas are fine. I'm not so sure around sabina joy pub and darker areas of tom mboya street would be as welcoming.

But basically there are so many private security guys sitting out that you'll be OK in Koinage. Plus I've always found it quieter than its reputation suggests.

I was considering Hilton as it was the cheapest hotel. I would appreciate if you could recommend a cheaper hotel..Try Kenya Comfort Inn corner of Muindi Mbingu / Monrovia Street, opposite Jeevanjee Gardens. Only few blocks from Simmers, Tribeka and several other clubs in CBD. Also its very near the university so many sweet gals all over the place. Never stayed there so I can't say if it's up to par or not but it's under $100. One thing I have noticed in Nairobi is that some hotel prices have almost doubled in the last couple years.

This might work if you plan on shagging one or two the same girls all day / night, or sport fucking one after the other. I've been meaning for some time to write a little bit about what I've been up to, as a thank-you for the excellent information I've had from this forum.

I visit Nairobi a couple of times a year, usually only for a few days; this time I will be here for several weeks. I usually stay at the Intercontinental, so my first observations are from there. If you're lazy and in need of company, in the evening there are almost always a few girls who will catch your eye and smile, either in the bar by the pool in good weather, or in the (slightly seedy, IMO) bar indoors. I've occasionally looked in the casino, but never seen any girls on the lookout there. Offer them a drink, talk about shit, invite them to spend the night.

The front desk will want to check them in, and usually keep their ID card (sometimes they'll photocopy it). They will also have you sign away $50 for double occupancy. If you're going to be doing this for more than three nights a year, sign up for their Ambassador club; in addition to waiving the double occupancy fee it gets you an automatic upgrade when you sign in, and some minor other benefits, so well worth it at $200/ year.

On a trip a while back, I accidentally discovered the extraordinary power of Tinder in Nairobi. I'm in reasonably good shape, and have photos of me with skis, motorbikes, scuba etc. But I'm also 57 years old, and don't conceal it. When I first got onto Tinder in Nairobi, I accumulated 15 highly attractive contacts, all keen to chat, in just half an hour. Absolutely nuts. Only issue is the walk of shame in the very busy lobby. Guards are rent-a-cops that have no interest in the hotel. The desk is run by idiots. This is my second visit to Nairobi, and second time to Intercontinental Hotel in Nairobi Center.

On my first visit, in 2013, I found the massage places on Tubman Road and had a good time for a reasonable price. My lady there was not a hot young spinner, but she was fun and friendly, attractive enough, and she did not rush me. YMMV; I would go back. My buddy also had an experience he was happy about.

I have just arrived on this return visit, and have not yet had my fun. I did, however, have the nerve to ask the concierge if I was allowed to invite a lady to my room. He assured me that I could. They will always register her for my safety. If she arrives before 8 pm, there is no charge. After that, they charge US $64 (in addition to you paying the lady the fee you negotiated with her). Obviously nobody would be happy about the surcharge, but it is better than being forbidden, especially if you do not have your choice of hotels. And if you are flexible enough to go with a lady in the afternoon or early evening, it works out fine.

There's a bar here that I have not been into but looks like the kind of place that would have hotel girls. They won't be cheap, but then, perhaps that is what the $64 fee is for, to protect their market. I assume most hotels get a fee from their lobby girls, if they regulate them at all.

I asked because of the extensive security, and many hotel men all over in the lobby, including the Concierge which is right next to the front door. I'd say there is a slim chance of sneaking one in. Given that, I decided to ask.

Everyone advises me that it is much too dangerous to walk around City Center after dark, and dark starts at 6:30pm. Too bad, as I prefer to walk to a bar, and sometimes back to the hotel. But the taxis are said to be reasonably safe. If in doubt, you can always ask the club to call you a reliable taxi. If still in doubt, you can take a hotel car and have the driver wait if you don't expect to take long. Of course, hotel cars are not cheap, but then, this isn't London, either.

The Intercon is a bit old and does have some problems. Some rooms have trouble staying cool; mine last night would not go below 25C. I have a "renovated" room, which looks like an old room in an off-location Hilton. Last time I had an "unrenovated" room and it needed to be renovated. Aside from this, i don't have any issues with the place.

I welcome any comments or feedback on any of this.

I don't have a lot of time to enjoy evenings out, and like the convenience of dine-in options available during the day. For that, I go to 22 Tubman Road, Dev Towers. Just find Jamai Hotel on Google Maps, go there, and look across the street.

There are a number of places that offer massage, some of which might also be hairstylers. You can take the elevator to the top floor and poke your head in to see if there is anything you like. You may not find top-shelf young hotties like at the clubs. For me, friendliness and intent to provide good service outweighs looks, and I have found a good balance of price, attitude, service quality, and appearance here.

The shops may open as early as 9 AM, and probably are not opened too long after dark, perhaps around 8 pm closing, but I imagine it varies.

Recently I went with luck of the draw at the first place. She was 28, shapely, neither skinny nor fat, maybe a 5 overall by my taste. I was led into the room, and the first order of business was price and what was available. She said that massage (therapeutic) was 1500. As SteveNaive recently reported, Dev Towers is a good option for massages with extras. I read on the forum about the three MPs in the building (La Celeb, Jephers and another one, which I think is now called Studio 37 Salon / barbershop), but when I went there on Saturday afternoons, Studio 37 was closed, I couldn't quite figure out the entrance to Jephers (seems to share the space with a tailor), and La Celeb was always open.

My first time at La Celeb, the "Receptionist" told me to wait in a room, and sent a girl in. I started asking about prices and she quoted 1500 Ksh (about $16 USD) for a massage and extras were available. I wasn't quite hot about her, so I started saying something about changing my mind and leaving, at which point she offered to send other girls in, which I gladly agreed to. So the girls came in one by one and said their name, and I settled on one named Keisha. I checked out a few strip clubs, see below for my reviews. As a general rule, most of these places charge an entrance fee, from 200 Ksh up to 400 Ksh for regular entrance, and around 1000 Ksh for VIP. The VIP is a semi-private area where you can take a girl, mostly for lap dances. In all the places I have checked out, you can fuck a girl on the premises. Some places offer two options for that: 3000 Ksh for the chica and a basic room, or 4500 Ksh for the chica and a "nicer" room. Note: do NOT pay for VIP at the entrance, especially if your aim is to get more than a lap dance (e. G. , fuck a chick), because they will make you pay for a room even if you already paid for VIP. Instead, pay regular entrance, see if you find a check you like, get a lap dance in the general area if you'd like (up to 500 Ksh per dance), or decide to go to the room. Onto the different establishments!

Liddos: probably the "classiest" of all the strip clubs I have seen, and by that I mean that there were non-locals there (albeit only one or two). It's located near River Road, so I wouldn't recommend venturing there alone if you're a muzungu. Entrance fee varies from 250 to 400 Ksh depending on the day of the week. I went there a couple of times, on a Monday and then on Friday night. The first time, I got a lap dance from one of the dancers (definitely the best one in there) and got her number. I called her the next day, but we couldn't link up. I went back a couple of times, and she tried to push the 4500 Ksh on me, which I didn't care for. The last time I was there, I saw her going to the room with a guy and another stripper. Again, this is a somewhat nice place, and probably the safest place for a muzungu in the River Road area.

Bavou: located right down the street from Liddos, getting closer to the darker end of that street. Entrance was 250 Ksh, I got a beer and watched a few dancers before selecting one for a lap dance. After the dance, I decided to take her to the room (3000 Ksh), and I was not disappointed. She took her time with a BBBJ, and then we played in multiple positions until I came on her chest. I took her number for future reference. I went back a couple of times, and ended up hooking up with her both times, each time better than the last one, and for the grand total of 3000 Ksh. Now this is where things get interesting: the VIP area is basically on the balcony (the club is on the second / third floor of a building), and there are curtains to hide you from pedestrians down on the street. I am a Scandinavian guy going on my first business trip to Nairobi in a few weeks, so have never posted in this forum before. I have however posted on some of my other destinations, where I have had some good / bad expiriences.

I spend a lot of time in Bangkok and love places like Hyatt Erawan with a upscale club (Spasso) attached to the Hotel, or InterCon with great club across the street. I do not crazy about roaming around in taxis in cities I do not know well. In Dubai I stay at LE Meredien near Airport or Fairmont at SH Road for same reasons.

I am looking for advice for "upscale bars / clubs" in Nairobi, maybe attached or very nearby to good Quality Hotel (4 or 5 star). I have spent time reading this forum, but cannot find exactly that combination in any recent posts.

I will never overpay too much more than the market dictates, and I am happy to see that 1-200 $ will get you a long way (LT) for a beautiful girl. But for Hotel, club entrance and drinks I do not mind paying extra for a safe and classy place.

Hope someone can direct me to a Hotel and high-end nightclub / bar nearby.

The side of the Nakumat Lifestyle opposite the hotel (in fact its a 1 star GH in relatively central location) is still under construction so there is noise (which however was always a problem there) and the cafe with the terrasse is closed.

By the way Nairobi has much more to offer than the CBD and Westlands.

First, my post is not personal its come to illustrate how scammers "some" of kenyan could be.

When I have lived in mombasa I saw crazy things such as my fiend bought furniture to his hotel and has pay some of the money in advance in order to give the supplier a starter to make his furniture. The supplier never deliver the Merchandise.

Another case he bought copper wires for electricity. He got everything but no copper inside the plastic isolation.

I have many more examples all of them during my year stay in Mombasa when I saw how they make business.

Conclusion: pay nothing in advanced even via "trusted" website. If you book an hotel go directly to the property check everything and then pay only for the shortest time possible to test things. Then you may extend your stay.

Things are getting more complicated in Kenya especially when we need also to consider security.

We all do mistake that's life but again never trust anyone in Kenya especially hotel stuff that often Cooperating with Thieves.

Another week here and I have reported here before on my usual locations so just some updates on new places.

I checked out new Madhouse (literally round the corner from the old one). I was there from about 2 am to 4 am on a Thursday. Not very impressed. Spread over one floor and one long bar and not the same atmosphere as the old one. Not too busy but the women were hard core, not impressive and a bore. Was not tempted to return with so many other venues on offer. There is a small VIP room but I didn't bother checking it out.

One afternoon when bored I logged into Tinder and matched with over 20 top quality ladies within a couple of hours one of whom I met (there are some out and out pros on there). I don't usually use such sights as I much prefer the thrill of walking into a club, spending some time checking out the options, doing some flirting and catching the number one target. So I like more upscale places and this was my rookie trip to Nairobi, so bound for making loads of mistakes, and here the result: I stayed at Sankara (not a mistake expensive but great Hotel) from Tuesday to Friday. Tuesday night tried K1, since understood.

It should be good. Full of people but hard to tell exactly pros from none pros. Ended up back alone at Sankara and Rooftop Bar was closed. Wednesday went to Black Diamond (too early around 22.00), only good looking one was from Tanzania, but she really had a.

Bad odor, so went back to Sankara rooftop. There was 3 girls at the Bar, only one really good looking, but also 6-7 men sitting around, so she was not in a hurry. Talked to her briefly and she asked 20000, so I passed, mainly because I had to get up early (anyway looked like she.

Had been flirting for a while we a body builder type sitting near. Or that was at least the explanation I gave myself) My last night I had to do something. I have asked one of the drivers connected to the Hotel that have been driving me around in daytime and he.

I was in Eron Hotel and I used Tinder.

The Hotel cost about 3000 Ksh. Per night for a double and it is clean. To bring somebody for a night is not a problem.

Just the area is not the best.

Street violence is undeniably a problem and is attributed to rising unemployment secondary to loss of tourism amid political uncertainty and terrorism. Probably there is also some variation in perceived threat vs real threat. The hotel security guard commended me on "coming back alive" when I returned after dinner from Tom Mboya road. He advised me never to get out of the CBD after dark. Next day I was chatting with (or trying to chat up) the receptionist and her opinion was that the law and order situation is acceptable. I suppose that the some areas of Nairobi are no go areas at night. While CBD appears to be safe but iron bars on cash counters in ordinary shops and the sheer number of security guards are not encouraging.

To add to that, I witnessed three fights in four days including two in Simmers.

• A SW standing close to the wall was attacked by a few SWs from outside the club.

• A woman came and attacked a man and tried to drag him out of the club. I was told later that she was trying to take her husband back.

• A street fight between two young men. Interestingly passer by patiently waited for the outcome.

Airport is very basic. More basic then I was expecting. Flight landed at around 02:00 pm and I decided to take the bus #34 to the city. There was not much point in saving GBP 10 taxi fare while staying in Hilton but I wanted to see real Nairobi and I definitely got that. Approximately 1 hour drive is through the slums with virtually non-existent roads and no sewerage. The traffic can be described as chaotic chaos.

I find most Kenyans fluent in English and friendly. There is plenty of talent both on the street and inside bars and is cheap and available. First time I realized what does the word 'semi pro' means as I noticed girls falling in love with me in apparently non pro places like Samba Brasilia on Moi Ave and I – something (I forgot the name) on Kimathi Street even though I had company (of course another wg). Food outside CBD is real Kenyan, nice and very cheap. Inside CBD you can find western burgers and coffee for half the price you pay in West.

Downside are.

• Risk of mugging / violence.

• Relentless begging for drink and sometimes even petty cash by WGs.

I was one of those silent types reading and observing the forum. I've been an avid fan of the mongering scene in Nairobi and during my travels in Kenya. I'm about to leave this lovely place and I think it's time to impart some knowledge and meet up with a wing man!

Give me a shout if you're interested in meeting up. I live in Westlands and go out there, and a few other spots.

As for a few spots that a lot of people talk about, here's me two cents. And sorry if I'm repeating some stuff (which I inevitably will).

Black Diamond. Some would say that this is more 'high class', and I wouldn't disagree, but the talent is does vary. Lets say there's someone for everyone most times. The going rate usually starts with 5 k or so, which is way too high, plus they keep asking for drinks.

Gypsies. Similar to BD, a lot of expats too. Pretty good bar for big sporting occasions and also good talent there. Similar asking price, too. Better food than most places. It's also a gay friendly place. It's also worth noting that as you enter the place, the area to the left, is kind of seen as the hooker area, as well as the gay area, so it's not always a guarantee that girls in the right hand side areas are playing the game. It's an interesting mix of folk there.

Liddos. In town, this is the best strip club / brothel. Calling it a strip club is a bloody far stretch of the imagination, mainly because the women usually need to have clothes on in order to 'strip'. It costs like 1 k to enter VIP, which is just a smaller area with roughly the same quality of girls. I guess this place would be good for stag do's etc. They also have shows which can be messy. Taking a girl to private costs 3 k, or 4.5 k for a nicer room with a bed and private shower area. The standard rooms have this kind of love seat and a massage table, but a public / shared bathroom. In some ways hooking up here can be easier due to the set prices etc. Threesomes and a range of debauchery can be arranged there.

Sankara roof bar. Quite an exclusive area, expensive stuff, so the usual stuff. Usually closes quite early and most of the girls move on to gypsies or BD later on.

Havana. I wouldn't class this as a classic mongering bar, but you can find some talent. A lot of expats go there, so hooking up with a Mzungu girl isn't out of the question.

Aqua Blue / Skylux / Ebony Lounge / Brew Bistro. I would say these places are mostly patroned by local Kenyan folk, mostly students and young professionals. Again, hooking up with a non-pro is certainly not out of the question, you can definitely get interest from girls interested in getting into something long term.

Brothels. There are a few around Nairobi, but I've only been to one in westy. Mainly Indian-Kenyan, a few girls there, mostly slim, but not great range. My one was nice and petite. Damage was 5 k, too much again, but it was an interesting experience being inside a brothel bang in the middle of a housing area. Having said that, I guess they're not going to be in the middle of an industrial area!

Florida. I haven't actually been there, even after being in Kenya for more than 3 years, but it's meant to be a classic and had a face lift recently. I've heard range of girls varies and is a bit cheaper, but they are meant to be more hardcore. It's in town and near Koinange (K) Street which is where some (fugly) street action. Nearby Florida is Simmers, again, a wide range of action and there's also a number of street walkers right next to it by the taxi rank. Food here is average but cheap.

XS Millionaires. Again, not need here, but I wouldn't mind going if someone wants to? Meant to be a swag place with a range of nice dancers who can meet up afterwards. That's all I heard. Oh, and it's in town.

That's pretty much about it, so I hope it's helped some of you in some way. In my opinion, Westlands is probably one of the better (read: safe, range, quality) places for mongering. Most of the girls who are at Sankara will head to either Gypsies or Black Diamond later during the evening, so it is these places that probably has the best bet to find high end girls. There may also be some at Tribe Hotel near Village Market.

Another place I forgot to mention is Casablanca in Hurlingham, the girls there are very nice, but it's been a while since I've been there.

ThanksIf you're arriving Thursday to Tuesday, you should get plenty of opportunity to hook up. One thing I will tell you is that if you're looking for a high end girl in Kenya, you are asking for a lot of trouble as you have already pre-conditioned yourself to pay a chick a higher price. I would say that most hookers working at the 'high -end' bars end up going to the low end bars once they find no customers and their prices drop from 10 k, to 5 k to 3 k to 2 k. In a country like Kenya, you are not guaranteed high-end.

If you want to go Friday and Saturday, for a good choice of easily available chics, you can go to Black Diamond, Gypsy, a couple of hotel bars (Intercontinental comes to mind) and be flexible. Girls are a plenty, make sure you find the right ones.

I've been busy. After some internet searches and talking to trusted taxi drivers, I found a couple more brothels in the Lavington area of Nairobi. The first place was definitely a bit run down. A range of girls, from 4-8, but each man to his own. The damage was 5 k but girls were keen to stress that in future, you're able to pay 3 k. It's in a secure compound, has a bar available etc, but the furnishings were not great and looked like it needed a face lift.

The other place, near a private school and church (haha), is a much better joint. The first thing that struck me when I entered the car park was that there were other cars there! The place had a few people on a weeknight! The outside is set up like a typical bar, seating outside, tents with comfy seats, an outside kitchen, and beautiful girls walking / hanging around. The inside has a bar and pole for dancing. There are rooms upstairs and you can take a girl for an hour. Newbie prices are 8 k, but girls told me you can just pay 3-4 K in future visits. This particular establishment also has a sister house around the corner. This place is pretty awesome, you can literally stay there. They told me of a tourist who basically lived in one of the rooms for around 3 months fucking the girls, sounds crazy, and thy could well be them BSing me, but when you see the place, you can imagine it. You can also arrange a deal where you pay around 10 k for 12 hrs use of a room. This means if you arrive at midday, you can pay 10 k for one girl for 12 hours. You can enter and leave the room with her as many times as you can handle in that time frame and chill and relax between sessions. The girls also told me that the tourist who stayed here basically paid 10 k per day (cheaper than hotels! And would agree 12 hrs with one girl, but would often sneak off with others (after negotiating separate deals- 3 k). There are about 15 girls with others being on leave, but I'm told there are more slimmer girls who will be back in a few days. Otherwise, average is around 5-7, with one or two gems. You could lose yourself here for days. Cannot wait to go back.

A much better option was Hotel Metro Hotel Metro http://www.rumbo.com/hotel/kenya/-/nairobi/hotel-metro-nairobi.html at 3,500 KES / night for a single of 4,000 for a double. Clean room, good mattress, friendly service, lift and right in the middle of CBD. Did not check the restaurant, it's a lot cheaper to go out for breakfast. No problem bringing in a lady if you have booked a double.
