Seems perfect, but I wonder most importantly if it is GF.There are a ton of hotels in Nairobi but few that a Western person might feel safe in. I am a black guy and have been fairly comfortable staying "on either side of the tracks", meaning I have been good with staying upscale with foreign business people or budget with local business people.

These are the hotels I stayed at while in Nairobi:

Central Park Hotel (2011). Paid 3, 500ksh which included breakfast; no charge for guest unless guest joined you for breakfast and in that case, the cost of her breakfast was about 350ksh extra; no A / C in my room but some do have, no mosquito nets, no fans, slippery tile shower floor (did not stop me from fucking there) , but it did have got water, TV, and comfortable bed. Also have wifi but it did not work and I have noticed in different places hotel operators still have ambiguous, nonchalant attitude about restoring wifi service even now. Girl may have to leave I'd at security.

Nairobi Hiton (2013). Booked online directly with hotel and paid $160USD (room rate excluding VAT) , Hilton Gold level at time so got free upgrade to Club level. Very girl friendly in that regard but I think you might be charged extra if you have no status; acceptable Western amenities. Girl must leave I'd at security. Very close to F2 but a longer walk or short cab ride to Madhouse.

Hotel Green Court (2012. 2013). Single room allows for 1 free guest, room rate was 1, 800ksh but is now 2, 000ksh after interior renovation (same infrastructure but fresh paint, new chairs and upgraded floor tiles) ; double room which permits 4 people to occupy room runs about 4, 000ksh; just be aware of a strange policy this hotel has which does not permit members of same gender to share a bed so 2 women could not book a single and your cap on girls would be 2 in the double; of course, if the guard is not there at post, you could still slip 3 women in with you; breakfast is included. 1 for single and 2 for double so any guests is extra at cost of about 300ksh; no A / C, no fans but rooms are cool in Nov-Jan timeframe and in July when it was cold in Nairobi, no wifi, on demand hot water (proper water flow adjustment over electric coils required as too much yields a cold shower but too little could leave you scalding hot) , TV with local channels, small table, open wardrobe with shelf, no safe (one chick stole my camera which was on the fritz and ear buds to my iPad, both of which I had laying out in full view for a time but did stash the camera in my clean clothes on a shelf, I guess she saw that) , eastern designed bathroom.

Chesterhouse (2013). Was $124USD total for room as of July 2013 but I understand that rate for a studio apartment has increased to about $160USD. Comfy bed, western bathroom (just ensure the housekeeping does not switch off the water tank heaters if you are staying multiple days since those tanks are huge and you will be waiting for at least a couple of hours for water to heat up, not what you want or need if you have some beauty with you) , kitchen, breakfast for 1 included, girl friendly but girl will have to leave I'd at security. Right across from Madhouse and not too far from Simmers or TriBeCa.

Just use Google Earth to checkout locations. I believe all have their own websites but keep in mind that the photos you see are photoshopped just like those photos of food on restaurant signs and advertisements. Expect the prices to be higher at those places last stayed a year or more ago.

One other note: I was last in Nairobi in July of this year and I stayed on both sides of the tracks. When I stayed at Hotel Green Court on Latema Rd, on multiple occasions I WALKED around the area of River Rd at night time. Now I was walking like I was a black ninja (not crouched but definitely on the balls of my feet and hands already in a pseudo defensive posture, and constant checking side to side and behind me using peripheral vision - no I was not going to be a KNOCKOUT victim in Nairobi!). I observed the pockets of chicks seeking men, but my primary mission was to checkout the hotels one of the other posters had mentioned was good for finding walk-in ladies (this would alleviate you of paying for a room). The one near to Latema rd was locked up. I decided to explore the area and checkout where Reggae music was coming from. For those who are adventurous, in good shape and knowledgable in self defense tactics, you might check it out. Otherwise, just stick to the well beaten and fucked path of online hookups and all the aforementioned night clubs. Nothing happened to me but I do know that something bad will likely happen to you if you are an overweight and drunk white guy.

Definitely appreciate the effort Jig. Very informative post. It seems like the GF factor at the Hilton is hit or miss. I wouldn't want to take that gamble and not be able to bring my women back with me. I would easily choose NOA but I'm concerned about the distance. I figure the max taxi fare would be around 500 ksh, but I'm more concerned about traffic and time burned in the backif a taxi.

It's a tough choice because hotels in CBD all seem to have something off on one way or the other. I do google map places first. It's thesis reason I like Mvuli Suites so much. I wonder how proper it would be to ask them?

You are a guest, a tourist, preferably a budget tourist and she is your friend who receives some some fun and support in the form of taxi money. Don't tell her to much about you. I once told a girl I own a car in my country and the price for the taxi rose from 2. 000 to 4. 000.

You need a pocket full of cab numbers.

Not far from CBD and always taxis readily avialable 24/7. Likewise, just a short walk down to Kenyatta to pick up bus or matatu. Price. About $100. I know rates have changed recently so need to check. They have revovated, but used to have large rooms, sofas, table and kitchen. Chester is better for location but don't know about the price. A little further down the road would be Woodmere Apartments. Used to get a very nice and large apartment for about $100 to $150 depending on size. Or a smaller one for even less. Nice pool and bar-be-que and work out facilities. Have read on here of others who have had lovely staff not only service the apartment. But actually went above (literally) and beyond in the area of hospitality. A little too far away from CBD to walk, but again, taxis always on site. Great atmosphere.

Cheers, AppleReata is very much a girl friendly place. No questions asked. Each room is a self contained apartment with living room, bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen. Reception staff. Elizabeth, Sharon and Joeseph. Are efficient, friendly and don't ask any embarrassing questions. Of course if the lady turns up alone, she has to report to Reception who will then call to inform that a visitor awaits. Also, if the lady is using a cab, the reception and gate security should be notified so that the cab is allowed in past the gate. All in all Reata is a wonderful place.

Sorry Naked Gunz. I'm trying to be patient and just wait until I get to Kenya to let it all fall in place, but I can't seem to shake this anticipation. At least I have only have 9 more weeks to go! LOL.

Guys, I do a lot of independent research including a couple other sources other than ISG including some non mongering type spots. With any vacation, I like to be armed with as much information as possible. I like to be prepared and only have a small bit of controlled spontaneity. .

I can't seem to get a good handle on places to visit at night Sun-Tues. Any recommendations are surely appreciated. I hope to avoid going to Madhouse every single night. I don't need to go to the mostly populated venues and I prefer to be around non / semi pros.

I would advise anyone using Afro intro to wait about a month out before joining. I feel I started too early and I have 10 mobile site pages of interested ladies. Most of the time I expressed interest first. My plan was to show interest and if it is was returned then I add them to my favorites. I have about a 70% success rate.

The problem is that I want to email and keep the interest strong. I feel I could have started two weeks before arriving and would have success. I guess this is the case of too much of a good thing. I didn't imagine there would be so many nice looking woman with so much potential if they are close to the profile.

Forum, can anybody else help this guy out?Read over what NG has stated, you can also go to Westlands. Havanas, Black Diamond, Gypsies, the Pizza Garden, go to Sarit Center, many non pros working and walking around inside, try the club inside Intercontinental, also try the clubs on oposite side of the road from Stanley and upstairs. Also, if you walk from Stanley, cross Kenyatta and go down one or two blocks there are numerous little clubs. For the most part you will always find pros and non-pros around. there are so many nice little spots around town, when you are at a spot, ask the waitress (good opportunity to get conversation going) where she would go...Or the waiter if that be the case. Tell him what you are looking for, some nice places are a bit hidden away...good luck

Do a search on the web, you will find a number of sites that will show you how. That is, if you decide to use your iPhone. If so, BE CAREFUL AND GUARD IT WELL. It can be snatched out of your hand before you know what happened and the thief will be long gone. As for breakfast, you can also walk over to Nakumatt. There's an outdoor restaurant that's not expensive. Good place to watch the "traffic" passing by. So too there are numerous small restaurants that are inexpensive such as those across from Nakumatt. You may find someone to your liking working or taking their breakfast/meals there. Regardless, you have endless options all around. Enjoy.

For the sake of accuracy I should say the Kahama in Mtwapa is a small taxi ride away from the town, which is a good thing in my opinion as the town is really more of a truck stop rather than anything you'd want to wander around admiring the architecture etc. Havana its not.

Just next to Kahama is a small sand road that leads to the beach, the road is lined with massage shacks (and tourist trinket shacks) , and you'll be asked if you need a massage half a dozen times before you get to the beach. The main tourist attraction of that area is the beach, which is v. Nice.

There is a Kahama in Nairobi, v. Near to the short time hotel I mentioned earlier, but I've only heard poor reports about it.

They will try to charge you even if you have paid double. Just stand your ground and have them check the records. I never tried two guests though I suspect that will be an issue. Street noise is horrible (6th floor or not) end of story. Sunday morning church noise is the worst and certainly won't help your hangover. To my horror, no DSTV! CNN, Al Jezz and BBC only 12-5AM. I am forced to endure telenovellas and a constant stream of local channel content (endless gospel or HH videos). One channel is even dedicated to in house security cams? Internet is spotty, and when they changed the pw (without informing me) it was game over. I have a 3g modem I'm using with Safaricom, but I hear Orange is better. The in house bar is ok for having a drink with your sweet thing, but it closes at 11pm. Food is OK at best (to me) , but satisfies hunger. Superior room had a mini-fridge, which worked great. Water is nice and hot. There is only 1 available outlet in the room. I had to purchase a power strip for additional gadgets. I would say 2 star and not worth what the hell I'm paying. That's it for me for CBD hotels. I took a peak at Rinata Serviced Apts. And thought I stepped into paradise. I will certainly stay there next time.

That being said, ride my coattails as I give thought on Black Diamond:

Blk Diamond on Saturday night (and Sunday to lesser extent) is full of pros and most look pretty sexy. Sit at the bar from 930pm onward and watch them parade in. Its like a hoe fashion show. If you banged her before then most likely she will be there. I saw four that I have had in some point in time. Better to avoid hardcore pros that run in packs. Smoking, hard drinking, ready to fuck anything for their price. They have strength in numbers and won't be low-balled. Better to get the solo one in the corner or dancing that is playing it cool. Was 2-3 years since I last visited. Started going to kampala instead due to too many girls knowing me and pestering me in Nairobi but now it is the same in Uganda so time for a change and as there was a cheap flight thought I would re-visit.

I used to stay at Chester House but due to their large increase in prices and Madhouse no longer next door looked around for somewhere different. I settled on Woodmere apartments who charged me $135 per night for a two bedroom place. Staying in Villa Rosa this time. Not paying out of my private pocket. Arrived yesterday night and wanted to give K1 a try. Wasn't a good night there. Recently I had a one and a half week stay in Nairobi. During my former three visits I restricted myself to the business district with occasional visits to Westland. I know Buru Buru and you have it right special by Buru Buru shopping center by Pynes and in Salem or Jericho market that are the best places for hunting.
