Some golddiggers wanted to pay for their german course. But the best experience I had with a sweeet ugandan muslima with a pakistani father. Very niice mix and hot oh man. GFS all you can take very sweet and poor. She had a very old mobile and a boy to take care of. CIM, even she offered her ass oh boy I was 5 days in heaven. Can't wait to come back to Mtwapa. Its paradise. I spend now altogether almost 3 months in Kenya, was robbed twice by girls but I think everybody has to pay some entrance fee to paradise. When I flew from Beirut via Addis o boy. Sorry for my English. I don`t know what exactly you look for, but cheapest shop to buy Spirits is directly beside Tuskys in middle of Mtwapa. All Safari, rum, chin other things including whiskeys like Jack Daniels. There are also bars go for shoping. I got out that airport is more expensive in cigaretts and Spirits than in regular shops. Sportsman red I got for 870 KsH. No Idea what it is at airport but sure more expensive.

Hello together, I just wrote some from your actions and I have to say I made the same experiments. One should be told too. Indiana hotel is nice but not safe, specually not the house safe because it is not safe. I was once ther and my money at safe got less! How can that be in a safe. In Kenya all is possible! Than I ryed different till I found kerstinsapartments in Mtwapa.

That is in Mtwapa were all the the nightlife acts, but a bit outside, so that you have really a quiete nice place, that is clean and most important safe! I be now after so long time like friends with the owner (German Lady). I usually pay 1200 KsH per night and room. My important things I give to the owner (I have a bag from a bank were I put all inside), also a higher amound of money that I took from bank I bring to here. If I need something I go there and take it. The money that I need, my mobile or cam I used to lock in the night in a samsonide with number lock. Since I be there I good like nothing stolen. Once I got a mp3 for 1 Euro stolen! That are my experiments in Kenya. By the way, if you want they wash your cloths for less money without carrying them any were. I usually bring some to the German. There is a fridge in every room and cooker too. No need to order breakfast, you can drink water from pipe and cook cafe is no problem too.

I`m not a here to promode that guesthouse, I say only that I have made there my best experiments there and have since first time using it not changed any more.

To come to the end, Kenyan girls are like they be, the prises from them are since 9 years like the same, some ask for more and really pretty ones go not for 1000. Imagine in the last years when I come there I see always that the prises rise up 50. For example one kg beef was last time 550KsH before 350 and before 240Ksh. Same with fish sugar and ugaly. At the same time I saw drug adicted people and they rise in same way. So think by yourself how will it end? Igive the girls mostly 1000 plus transfer + a gift. A good idea is also to give them a pack ugaly and say you don`t like it, than you know they will eat and not only drink Muzungu beer. 1 Muzungu 2 Wazungus!

Any suggestion regarding the apartment?There is loads for example Merry or Luck which I don't like, they charge 3000 ksh a day but you should be able to get something decent for 2000 but unserviced without a pool there is plenty of Apts around Mangroove guest house for example. I rented long term but pay only when I am there, under condition that I furnished the place. When I use myself I pay only short time 1500 and monthly 20.000 when I stay longtime.

This forum has really been starving lately and I have been as guilty as anyone else by not contributing more. I've abandoned this site a bit as I was pre-occupied with other things in life. Not really a good excuse, but the truth. So, I decide to start contributing some of the experiences from my last 2 visits in July / August and December / January as I'm getting ready to hit Mombasa again in a few days time.

I've never paid much attention to sites like AfroIntroductions or Tagged in the past for two reasons. First of all I always found there were plenty of fish in the pond, so really kind of pointless. Second, and more important I always found that both Afro and Tagged were full of fakes and this verified profiles with verified pictures on Afro never tickled my fancy. But then again I said to myself, why pass up an opportunity if it beckons, as I came across a profile of an 18 year old girl in Mombasa. She had only picture on her profile and that got me seriously drooling. Also, she looked like a Luo, which made me even more interested in her.

So, as her profile wasn't private I just hit her up with a one liner saying how cute she is and how I really need to meet her. A few days of silence. Then she comes online and starts to ask a few questions but quickly suggests that we have a little chat over Skype. I agreed and we spoke for a bit and she was happy to meet when I get into Mombasa. I was happy as I was able to confirm that she looked exactly the same as in the picture.

So, a few weeks later I get to Mombasa, call her up and ask her to meet me in Dorman's. She shows up about an hour later. She is quite tall (5'10') , but slim and shapely (50kg). I think anyone reading this forum gets the picture that although Kenya may not be what it used to be as a monger destination, it is still a good place to do so from non-pros to pros. I have this nice model looking non pro / semi pro in Mombasa (originally she lived in Kisumu before hop scotching to Nairobi when I first came and missed hooking up with her, and then to Mombasa where I linked up with her last July) who I still keep in contact with via Whatsapp. She is fine and I remember we had a good time that could have been better if not for slight vaginitis odor. Now I am talking about non pros I desire to maintain a relationship with, so there is no need for any price nazi to inbox me about the wages of waitstaff or hotel workers or how I will distort the market since I am talking about non pros who avoid seeing fat guys.

I am glad the fellas are having a blast in Mombasa. Yes Nairobi is a different animal, and one best suited to a local or frequent visitor. My hookups there have largely been online connects. Nairobi is definitely different from Kampala, Takoradi-Accra Ghana, Monrovia Liberia, or Malawi where I found it easier to approach women in public settings and to chat them up. I scored first night with such hookups in Ghana and Liberia and second night in Kampala (first night would have been possible had we met initially at my hotel vice a hotel near where I met her initially).

One last thing. It appears the Mombasa business community is starting to realize that tourism is down in the region. I know that I rebuffed many tour offers the last time I was there because there was too much change and uncertainty in my future (possible divorce which became reality, job change for one of my 3 gigs, higher licensing expenses due to financial regulations, and increased healthcare expenses due to so called affordable care act). So my business realities forced me to forego the tourism excursions, but I had done a lot of that activity when I first visited Kenya years ago. So with tourism down, how do the astute business people of Mombasa hotels respond? From the prices listed for Papewza for this year, it looks like Mombasa is trying to charge Dubai hotel prices without the underlying quality of product and infrastructure development. They might want to consult the hotel and resort operators in Mexico who cut prices in order to entice people to visit Cancun, Mazatlan and other Mexico tourist destinations.

My travels to East Africa were solely financed out of my own pocket. However, that is precisely why I also used those visits to probe business opportunities in the region. So 4 visits to Uganda, over 7 visits to Kenya and one each to Malawi and Rwanda were personal trips. I have often joked about getting a job with the UN or an NGO, but working for such organizations might not be in my best interest. I am too much of a free spirit. I guess I inherited that quality attribute. Next on my accomplishment list is financial independence from my business dealings since I prefer to enjoy life now as there is no guarantee how things will be when I am over 60 years old.

Been coming to Kenya for over 10 years and never have any problems. Spend most of my time in Nairobi but get down to MSA from time to time. I work 4 months on and 1 month off so there has been many trips over the years. You have to be somewhat street smart, if it's sounds to good to be true then it probably isn't true. I mostly have have stayed in the Bamburi Beach area and have walked the beach at night with no issues. Just have a good presence of what's going on around you and don't get to to the point your an easy target (Wasted Drunk). If you want to go out and party until late hours be sure to have a trusted (one that you have known and used before) driver to get you back to your place.

Arrived at mombasa around noon. Personally I think mombasa airport looks better then nairobi maybe it's just me. The heat was completely pulling a bruce lee on me. Got a couple of kicks in the face and a body blow as soon as I stepped off the plane. Bag arrived promptly, walked out in the arrival area and was greeted by the 1st wave of smiling faces. Now to pick the right one. The 1st couple of taxi drivers I would say you never agree to, I ended up picking someone on the end. Sorry I can't remember the exact price but I haggled him down 500ksh from his orriginal cost. Fortunately this taxi driver had ac. As we drove away I knew this trip was going to be something for the books when I saw a monkey come out of no where and climbed on top of one of the car parking covers and looked at me as if he knew I would not be the same guy coming back to the airport. WOW, I seriously just saw a fucking monkey at the airport. Next time one of my african friends complain about me thinking africa is all zebra, lions and elephants with no cities or clubs I will promptly reply,"well nothing beats being greeted by a damn monkey once you step out the airport." On to mtwapa while the cold air of the ac nurse my bruce lee inflicted wounds.

Mombasa looks like most african small towns. Basically run down shacks and small concrete buildings. Signs on the building that look like they have been there since 1940. The roads? Whats roads? Just dirt path ways for vehilcles to try to get from point A to point B. Motor bikes zooming every where and my taxi driver driving as if his life was in peril. But that was just what it looked like to me. He was actually driving normally for a mombasa taxi driver. Dust seemed to never settle until we started driving pass the hotels, resorts and restaurants.

Arrived to my hotel which was fully booked LOL. I was kinda expecting it. While waiting for receptionist to help me fine another spot a beautiful, caramel complexion, fine ass woman came from behind the corner of the hotel and not too far behind was the suitor. He didn't have to look at me to know I was staring his chick down. She was wearing jeans with a halter top exposing her belly. Her ass were like two perfect basketballs fighting each other in her jeans. Her stomach housed a muscular tone that a track runner would own. The lines of her stomach drained down through her low cut jeans where I envisioned whats was inside the borders of the camel toe that slightly hid behind the curtain of the fabric. She smacked her gloss on her lips. As if to say boy I know I'm the fucking shit. I wanted to tell her yes you are but didn't won't anybody looking at me like a crazy fucker off the rocker.

Reception managed to hook me up with another hotel on her last phone call. My eyes followed the basketballs as she left the building with her financial help, boyfriend or what ever. Tried not to be obvious but damn. Was escorted to the other hotel by a cool dude. Got there and they only had one room left. The whole time I'm thinking about that siren I just saw. Is this kenya? My question was answered when I saw what was swimming in the pool of my hotel. Three more bad ass sirens. WTF? I just died and went to heaven. Two of them were sitting on the edge of the pool talking. I wanted to invite them to come sit on my face for awhile but I knew that would not be gentlemen like. As I walked by the pool I could see the figure of the one still under water. I was thinking if that's what I think it is in that bikini I wished I could instantly vaporize the water just to see.

As I set down down in the lounge to wait for my room to be ready the 3rd girls raised outof the water like a fucking music video. Long hair, hour glassed body with sexy cat eyes. She looked at me for only a sec and then turned to her friends. All three didn't really pay any attention to me so I figured they were paired off with some of the older guys who were surrounding the pool. Flash backs of nairobi flew through my mind. Faked theft reports do exist. But you can try this only once, otherwise you are landing on the 'blacklist' of the insurance companies. After a reported theft, they may cancel your insurance. No insurance wants a client with the risk of a second report of theft.

Cash is not covered anyway. Cameras only to a certain limit or you pay at least 5 % of the value annually for a special insurance. Most hotel safes are too small for my cameras, so I have to leave them in my room somewhere.

There are too many reports in several medias that the tourism industry of Kenya is in deep troubles reflecting the poor and corrupt governmental structures.

I agree with the idea of a member avoiding Kenya and going to Madagascar next time. I've been there once in 1999 and I loved it. Security was an issue too. Guards in front of every hotel, but I was feeling safe traveling the country.

Anyway, I am now living in Nairobi. Bloody armpit of East Africa, but that's another story. My gf and I spent a delightful three nights in the Blue Marlin Beach Hotel.

It's on Diani Beach, on what they refer to as the South Coast, about 45 minutes south of Mombasa proper. I just checked Trip Advisor and it's advertising from 80 EUR and up. It's clean, on a beautiful beach and very nice. I highly recommend it. You can walk the beach about 20 minutes to the Sands Nomad hotel (rooms about 300-500 EUR) and have wonderful breakfasts and dinners. Open to public so not a problem if you're not a guest.

If you get to Nairobi, PM me. If Al Shabaab, thugs or crooked cops haven't gotten me, I'd love to see you.

What about Tanzania as choice replacing Kenya? I'm sorry you guys have had issues there, but yes, you are probably targeted almost from the moment you get off the plane. When I read posts from expats living there like Ngong, that tells me your doing something wrong which makes you too good to pass up as a victim. Kenya isn't Thailand, where your money is welcomed with open arms. This history of Africa has always been, your welcomed with loaded arms! Extra precautions are in order.

Mombasa is easier to get women, but that also attracts the seedier element too that can't work unchecked in Nairobi. Maybe your not taking good advise, or bringing too much you can't afford to lose. Staying at cheap hotels, which is a haven for disgruntled employees that steal. Never trust that smiling face, and everybody wants something. These are just people that have only know how to rip you off by the sword as opposed to the pen. I've been here 5 times in the last year, and only now have I started really figuring out the place. Another simple truth is that sharks smell blood. Ngong, BBJack, Hombre have been there for years, and love the place and have learned the rules-maybe the hard way, but they know how to work the systems. They are not broadcasting dire warnings all through the KE forum of like some some doomsday teller. They are too busy f*cking-a lot! The shark passes them by and come for you. Get it? The only reason I would not go back to KE is: Pricey and ego-inflated pros, clingy non-pros, poor service and lack of simple creature comforts. Kenya has nothing I have not seen in West Oakland, California; S. E. Wash. DC and Compton Crip and Blood territory. Sharks pass me by. Get it?

As Kenyans are aware, the Tourism sector plays an important role in our economic development, both directly and indirectly. Since last year, the sector has experienced some challenges, which have impacted negatively on its performance.

After growing strongly and steadily between 2001 and 2007, tourism sector suffered its worse when the international arrivals declined by 31 percent due to, among others, the election related challenges and impact ofinternational economic and financial crisis.

Last year, international arrivals dropped further due to security related challenges. With the recent advisories from some in our traditional source market that account for about 46 percent, tourism sector is likely to continue facing difficulties.

In view of the importance of the tourism sector in Kenya'seconomy, especially its multiplier effect on various sectors, the Governmentand stakeholders have agreed measures to get the numbers back into our hotels, and growing it on a sustained basis to at least 10 million visitors annually ina decade.

I now turn to the specific measures to stimulate tourism sector recovery:

First, under Tax measures, the Government, with effect from 12 thJune 2014, will allow all corporate and business entities to pay vacation trip expenses for their staff on annual leave in Kenya and deduct such expenditures in their taxes.

Through this measure, we shall directly give at least 25,000 Kenyans a chance to go for a week's holiday every month at the expense of their employers, bringing to total over 300,000 additional Kenyan guests in ourhotels throughout the country.

Second, with effect from 29th May 2014, all air ticketing services supplied by travel agents shall be exempt under the VAT Act, 2013 so as to enhance our competitiveness in the region.

Third, all outstanding income tax related refunds amounting owed to the tourism industry players will paid out by Kenya Revenue Authority not later than next Thursday 29th May 2014. We expect this measure to improvesector liquidity and cash-flow;.

Fourth, to further encourage local guests in our National parksand attract both regional and international tourists, all park fees currentlyset at USD90 per non-resident and KShs .1,200 per resident guest shall bereduced to USD .80 and KShs .1,000, respectively, effective 12th June 2014.

Fifth, to encourage both local and international flights into Moi International Airport and Malindi Airport, the Government has reduced, with immediate effect, the landing charges by 40 percent and 10 percent, respectively.

Sixth, Government has, with immediate effect, revoked the National Treasury Circular restricting the public service from holding conferences and other meetings in private hotels. It will now be possible forthe public sector to hold conferences and meetings in private hotels throughoutthe country as when the need arises;.

Seventh, the Government has allocated adequate resources to expand Malindi Airport to international standards to allow for largercommercial aircrafts to land. This will encourage growth of charter tourism.

Eighth, all budgetary resources, at the National Government, earmarked for foreign travel will, in Supplementary II, be reallocated todomestic travel to further give impetus to tourism sector recovery. Similarly, we urge Parliament and the Judiciary to do the same.

Ninth, the National Government urges the County Governments toreallocate all their foreign travels budgets to domestic travels in order tospur growth of domestic tourism and sustain employment.

In addition, the industry has identified a raft of measures, which will complement Government's initiatives. In particular:

First, The industry will offer better vacation package to Kenyans compared to what they offer international package tours, estimated atabout USD 60 daily per person on full board.

Second, The Government and Industry will develop an interactive Kenya Tourism Portal, within a week, to promote and manage booking and distribution of domestic guests under the Tourism Stimulus Program.

Third, The Government and Industry will, within two weeks, develop a comprehensive promotional campaign program to popularize both international and domestic tourism.

And for the Medium to Long Term measures, the Government will shortly reconstitute a Task Force with a mandate of developing a strategy toaddress underlying challenges and positioning Kenya as the preferreddestination for safari, commercial, educational and health, conferencing andprofessional services in Africa, attracting at least 5 million guests in thenext 5 years.

I just came back from Mombasa, and it was a best trip ever that I have done there.

I got a bit scared when I they started to evacuate British citizens, but that passed.

Somali terrorist are little bit problematic, but otherwise I don't understand all these comments about Mombasa not being safe. I have not noticed any different for my previous trips for security.

I am more scared in any Latin America country than in Mombasa. I am not familiar with Nairobi, that could be more dangerous.

Hotel prices are cheap, all the girls were willing to come with me, even those that before were asking astronomical prices.

Threesome was always available. It is difficult to get threesome to work, but with these prizes it was nice to do little experiments. I got couple of very enjoyable threesome sessions.

Of course this was low season, so there were not so many tourist anyway.

I have visited Mombasa quite many times in recent years, and I have not seen any rise in criminal activity. I continue using matatus, although that is dangerous because traffic is so crazy. I know one girl who died while driving her own car in Mwapa road recently, other one who got injured in matatu accident in same road.

I keep on comparing Mombasa to South America and Rio de Janeiro. In Rio almost all my friends who have visited have been robbed, I don't believe that this has changed.

Often drivers also ask to pay before arriving to airport so that police don't see money at the arrival.

I have done various trips from Cheers to Casourinha with taxis, and almost always taxi drivers want to take their fellow driver with them to Casourinha.

In beginning I was nice guy and let them do that but then I heard that one of the guys was a drug dealer, so I did not want to bring any extra person with me anymore to the checkpoint.

Think about police finding drugs from the car where is musungu also, how much do you have to pay them for get out of that situation?

I have already had a minor run in with Nairobi traffic police, but I got away from that with no loss of KSH since I played my hand well and technically had not yet broken traffic law.

This is also why I am super careful when departing any airport here in Africa. I never go with first taxi ride offer and I watch all around. It is much better to identify a potential problem at airport than down the road.

I just read the news article about the German tourist who got robbed! This is more serious than I initially thought because of the fact it was premeditated so it wasn't random, the victim was doomed the moment he got on that airplane!

Also this is not the first incident like this. They did another one also from the airport. Ad they followed him as well.

These criminals must be well organized and discipline to go to airport and wait for a 5 am victims to land.

If you are going there you should lookup your country's state department or foreign ministry travel warnings first.

You should consider your level of the communicated language and our confidence being around the locals.

I never go with first taxi ride offer and I watch all around. It is much better to identify a potential problem at airport than down the road.
I always try to select older drivers because they seem more reliable. In the beforementioned robbery however I don't think the taxidriver was one of the gang. Otherwise he would be a fool to let the other robbers damage his car.

So going there one can reduce risk by careful behaviour but not exclude it.

Around 50 heavily-armed gunmen drove into the town of Mpeketoni, near the coastal island and popular tourist resort of Lamu, late on Sunday.

Witnesses said they first attacked a police station, before starting to randomly shoot at civilians, some of whom had been watching the World Cup in local bars and hotels.

Lamu deputy commissioner Benson Maisori said several buildings in the town -- which is around 100 kilometres (60 miles) from the border with Somalia -- were burned down including hotels, restaurants, banks and government offices.

"There were around 50 attackers, heavily armed in three vehicles, and they were flying the Shebab flag. They were shouting in Somali and shouting Allahu Akbar ('God is Greatest' he said.

Local resident and witness John Waweru, 28, said he lost two of his brothers to the attackers.

"The attackers came in around 9 pm. I heard them shouting in Somali as they fired around. I lost two of my brothers, and I escaped. I ran and locked up myself in a house," he told.

Around 10.000 Kenyans die in road accidents every year. That means more than 20 people from 100.000 habitants die on the road. 5 times as much as in Germany. Malaria kills even much more, especially children.

When I was in Kenya last month bombs exploded in Nairobi (15 died) and Mombasa (4 died). After government from GB decided to bring 500 Tourists from Northcoast out of the country. From one day to the next Bamburi Beach was empty.

Kenya is absolutely dependent of the tourists. I have never seen Pirates Beach abandoned like that from muzungus / white people. And empty hotels means jobless people and of course no income for the guys and girls trying to get a small business at the beach.

I have seen good times and bad times in Kenya. But what happens now is a real disaster you can't even compare with the clashes during the elections in 1998 and 2008. Kenyan army went into Somalia to fight against Islamics. In case this war will not be stopped Al Shabab continuous bombing and economy will decrease furthermore.

Since almost 25 years I am going at least twice a year to Kenya to support a school and enjoy Kenyan ladies. I have rented an apartment directly at Bamburi Beach with view to Indian Ocean, next to Big Tree (pm me for details). For me it is one of the best places to stay and Al Shabab will not spoil my holidays.

Absolutely true. When my room was broken the police "find" my passport and gave it to me. The work flow includes informers from the hotel and low level police officers. If I was an normal tourist I would have wonder why the government do not give the order to stop that crime.

In fact they do give the order, However when i had worked with the police to track the criminals, the higher level inspectors and Criminal Investigation Department do seems to do their job and make some effort but the final result is a complete failure!

Note, during unarmed hotel break things can get out of control even if the robbers wants to end it without violence. Sure its possible to come without any electronics carry the passport and credit cards on your body well distributed but when a girl inform the police about some dispute you will be held as a hostage by the authorities or solve it by money.

The overall experience is that you are hunted. Trying not to do a slight mistake make this type of vacation dangerous and questionable.

Kenya is different from the DRC there are here no rebels like there and the safety here is good.

I am a muzungu (white men) and live all more than 5 years in the outskirt of Nairobi and do not have a bodyguard here in Kenya and I travel always around but when I go to the DRC.

For my business I call my contacts there to organized my personal safety with bodyguards. I have learn by a hard way to use them for security and pay the warlords also.

That is also the reason that the hotels in the DRC are more expensive as in Kenya a other thing is that you can only go by day time because the electric power is low and the most bars are closing when it go to be dark also for the safety.

When you are robbed in airport taxi, you lose everything, money, credit card, passport. All you have left are clothes which you have on.

When I was staying In Rio de Janeiro that happened a few times, what robbed ones had to do was to go their embassy, get emergency travel document, borrow money from embassy for fly ticket, and fly with next flight back home. Those tourist gave very bitter comments about Brasil when interviewed.

Anyway, please keep posting news of security situation. Lamu don't worry me, it is so far away, and near Somali border. It was this region and terrorist attacks there that prompted Kenya send army over border, so it has been problematic a long time.

This goes to politics now, but I don't believe that terrorist thread would go away even if Kenya army will leave from Somalia, like many people believe. Some terrorist leader has promised so, but how well is he controlling all the terrorist, and how long he will be even alive, in that job you get usually killed by internal or external disputes. In Thailand the Army arrest many taxi drivers in Phuket for being a Mafia with high price of taxies. The army/police said that less tourist coming because of that and the government loss income. I'm reading news about safety problems.Nowhere is safe today. I feel unsafe in the US. Don't even think about flying Malaysia Airlines or going anywhere near Russia, China, Korea, the Middle East, or certain parts of Africa. But since I know we all will someday have a tombstone as a headboard, I do not concern myself with living in fear of dying.

Now if you decide to go to Kenya, I would recommend not hanging out too long in populated venues like nightclubs and malls. Renting a sedan vice taking matatus or buses is best.

Lastly, the world is a much better place because of Obama. NOT!

I'm reading news about safety problems.After all Mombasa is safe. Apparently most mates enjoy their stay in Kenya and evidently they come back in a good condition. When you visit Kenya for the first time you will be likely one of the hundred-thousands of tourists who don't become victim of Al Shabab. Newspapers write normally about the tourist as victims and not about the overwhelming majority of people having peaceful and relaxing holidays.

Since more than 25 years I am going to Kenya and was never attacked. I always met nice people and had nice company. Since more than 1 year I have rented an apartment for long-term at Pirates Beach. Now I have got what I wanted. 100 qm / sqm apartment on 3rd floor situated directly at (with view to) the Indian Ocean next to Big Tree (if interested PM me). Very girl friendly because it's only yourself who decides whom to let in or not.

Pirates Beach should be very safe, because lot of Muslims swimming there, especially on weekends. Normally Al Shabab doesn't attacked brothers and sisters. Nice to go in the afternoon to Big Tree or have a walk at the beach. Impossible not to meet beauties who are willing to take a tea with you at home or stay overnight.

When I visited Kenya last May I still went to Mombasa and Mtwapa day and night, even took matatu or tuktuk back home in the middle of the night.

Even after after 9/11 nobody told them to stay away from New York. This policy leads to big problems for common people because tourism brings more foreign currency than any other industrial sector.

The tourist, who was in her twenties, died on the spot after being shot in the neck.

If Mombasa got a lot more dangerous it would still be safer than my neck of the woods. But then again, Kenya is on the news almost everyday now. Not sure if this is just more media coverage...I would not count that much what written in the press, but what official authorities ars saying. E. g. The Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affaires is keeping up since 18/07/2014 its explicit high risk warning for the border region to Somalia, a high risk warning for all of the Kenyan coastline and a general warning for all of Kenya. Causes: Terrorist attacks, Political unrest due to political and religious reasons, high general risk of criminal results.

Austrians like Germans are important clients for the travel agencies. So they are not interested in these warnings and pressure the authorities. If the Austrian Government still is keeping up its warning, its meant being a very serious issue.

Referring to the coast, people would think that the main motivation for the trip is the desire to have fun. It does not matter whether one on official business or not. So when an opportunity arises for a return to the coast, one sees fun! The reason for the trip has to take a back seat. In the spirit.

The mind starts picturing those semi-nude women. Black or white. In their bikinis, the Beach Boys hugging in the company of old white women and young women in Kenya and caressing the white men near the age of their grandfathers on the shores of the Indian Ocean. Nobody cares. It is an accepted way of life. That feeling of the wind from the ocean to the mainland at night with sounds of taarab and Bango, local songs, played a club in the background brings out the beauty of the heavenly paradise within the realm of the imagination. That is, if there were no sins to the coast!

I can't advise you on the hotels you mentioned since I stayed in Shanzu: 10 min ride to pirates beach. But I can tell you a lot about pirates beach.

I drove to pirates beach everyday. It's mostly locals, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere with girls everywhere. They have sitting areas under the shade of Palm trees with multiple services available. Every section belongs to a person from whom you can rent seats and table and he / she can take care of your needs. No price gouging. I rented from the same guys and they were super cool.

The beach is in good location. It's very close to a nice mall with good eatery choices including a couple of really nice cafes: an Italian and Ethiopian one. The Ethiopian one turns into a nice night club. Very relaxed ambient. Though service wasn't great. The Italian cafe has the best food choices and service. Popular with middle class and tourists. And it's about 15-20 ride to Mtwapa where more action and night clubs are and my favorite restaurant.

I had a blast on my trip to Mombasa. Great sweet girls, food, beach, service and prices are perfectly economic. Check my report and pm me if your questions if you prefer!

I really wish I would be in Mombasa. Here is my Christmas story from last year.

Little long but this forum has been very silent lately anyway.

In 2014 Christmas I visited Mombasa, stayed in Big Three.

Christmas spirit had arrived to Mombasa, that meant that everybody asked me a present. Not only people that know me or had at least seen me before, but all the people that I met. Waitresses want me to buy a drink for them usually Guinnes, also men waiters. Taxi drivers, all hotel workers, Nakumat employees, everybody. Lady selling meat at Nakumat asked me to buy her bottle of red wine.

I started to say that you are today number 15 who is asking gift. Expected counter argument was that "but I am your special friend". So I started to say that "and you are special friend number 10 who is asking gift today". Many girls got angry when I refused to buy gifts / drinks.

I bought only one present, to one waitress who I had liked long time. Never any relationship, she let me understand that she will make sex only when she is married. She told that she had given her phone to grand mother and asked me to buy a new one to her. I was impressed and touched of this kind of purity and bought her a phone which she wanted, expensive one since she did not want cheap one.

Some months later I read from her facebook that her son was already so and so many years old, he had birthday. Could it have been second virgin birth in history? Second coming of Messiah?

In Big Three, I met an old friend, a very tall lady, same height as me. Uganda girl, somehow I get involved with Uganda girls a lot in Mombasa. She was with her room mate, who is really small and short girl, also Ugandan. It was late evening and everybody drunk already, I think that I had done somebody already earlier that day. I offered them 1500 Kenya money each, and to my room we went.

Since it was Christmas Eve, a family celebration, somebody (probably me) invented that let's play family. So I was Daddy, tall girl Mami, small girl Daugher. I handled Mami first, but everybody's drunkenness was a problem, and Mami started to sleep after a while, or more like snoozing.

So I started to take care of Daughter. We talked also, and Daughter confessed that she is interested of girls a lot, and has lot of lesbian movie clips in her phone. I asked what she thought about her room mate Mami, who is really tall and little masculine, and Daughter confessed that she was actually in love with Mami, without Mami knowing that. I started to encourage her to take advantage of Mami's drunken condition, and she got really enthusiastic. It is full of local people, difficult to find working girls, and worst: beer is really warm, so many people that there is no time for beer to get cold. If you even manage to buy beer in that crowd.

Story of our Family continued, Mami called me all the time suggesting that we should see again. I liked that Daughter's sexual interest to Mami, so I agreed to meet them one evening.

It is big mistake to agree to meet at certain time any working girl anywhere, and especially Mombasa. Being four hour late is normal. After two hour waiting I walked to Cheers to see if there is any replacement, and called Mami to cancel meeting.

I was a little bit pissed of for all the waiting. I offered them drink and got more pissed when Mami ordered double or trible chocolate alcohol, with cost of 1200 Kenya money. Considering that I was going to pay her only 1500 for sex that was expensive.

We went to my apartment and started our session. I started to fuck Mami, and she started to sleep right in the middle while I was pumping her, and did not wake up anymore. I had not realized that she was so drunk (or high?) That really pissed me of, of course. Daughter was still left, and she was small and cute, but this was not what I had planned for us. After finishing with her, I quite roughly woke up Mami (difficult), paid them and send them away.

Later days, Mami was calling me all the time, but I never answered. I met her many times on that trip and later ones, she is one of those girl: whenever she says something to me directly, I know that she is going to ask either money or drink. So I avoided her, and I was too angry for her to take her again.

I saw Daughter on one later Mombasa trip in Nakumat bar, she was really really drunk and asking whole evening me to buy her drinks (which I did not).
She told me that she was no more living with Mami. Her two girl friends were very masculine and looking like men. So I guess her desire for girls is now filled.

Mtwapa after posta against Kanders arcade I shifted 50 meters to Stepin a nice clean and correct small hotel. I paid 1500 KsH for that height season time had perfect service, my room got cleaned and not searched like in Georgias before. I have had a perfect bed and the house is 100% women friendly!

They have tight security and are strict about you buying things like coco nuts crisps on the beach and eating them on there premises.

Night time wise you want casa blanka (in the middle of town).

This is a night club with strip bar down stairs, but you have to pay to enter the club on weekend unless you know them (I know the DJ).

The other one is (I think) mad house (can't remember the name).

On the top of Nakumatt mall is also a club. Sheba, with nice Ethiopian food, nice place to relax. There is also popular club in the street level called Lounge, lots of talent there also. Near is also club-disco Bobs, one of the oldest there, in the weekend big crowd, but much less on other days with always some girls hanging around waiting for Mzungus gentleman.

I personally have never been lucky with finding some interesting girls in big tree during the day, maybe I was in wrong period there.

If you have time, also visit some clubs in Mombasa town like Florida, lots and lots of talents there.

Yes Florida that the name of the club I was on about with the casino and the dance show on the weekends.

To be honest I mainly hang around the town as my hotel was there.

Boston hotel, red brick road, 1000 a night with breakfast and girl friendly.

Good bar down stairs for locals; no riff raf!
