Back in Kenya, arrived in Mombasa last Fri. Hotel -Stayed at Neptune resort. Same old Kenya hotel story-old rooms, not enough power outlets, weak Wi-Fi. Food (3 daily buffets) not 5* but is actually not bad. One night they had a decent show of acrobatic guys doing some pole climbing. Would have missed it if I had not gone to get a drink at the bar. Hotel did not inform me at all. Probably can't really shuttle different women in and out. Judgmental mamas at front desk are probably not going to allow that, so I just avoid drama by sticking with the same girl the entire time since its just few days.

Toured Fort Jesus. My second time seeing this old fort in Mombasa harbor. Its nice that this was saved for future generations to tour. It can be a very interesting day trip with the right tour guide showing you the place. Mine was pretty good, and painted a great verbal history in my mind with his historical recall. When he took us around old Mombasa town, I could only imagine the how this historic town center "could" be changed into a goldmine. I'm not even a developer, and I can see the potential of redeveloping Old Mombasa like Ruben Blades did with old Panama City. It is being completely wasted and needs to be restored. Bums and worthless shops there now. I guess it would be a waste of time as the real money won't come to Mombasa due to terrorist just up the coast, and greedy government just always having their hand out-real shame.

My friend here is an older guy, and does old guy things, goes to old guy bars. Good dude, but am bored to my eyes one night sitting in an old guy bar inhaling 2nd hand smoke, with washed up working girls all around and approaching me. I felt lying just lying down to die, since that night I had one foot in the grave.

The girl? Met her on Tagged. There has been a whole new batch of profiles and hers was one. As an ass man, I saw her pic of her bubble-butt, and I proceeded to assault her inbox (metaphorically) the real invasion came later, hehe. We met and shagged, but she is non-pro and boring. Her breath and BO were bad. She speaks very low-almost a whisper. Between the accent and low-volume voice I was going crazy trying to converse. She also cannot shag. She cums almost immediately, and stops as I'm just getting started. One time she actually tapped me out like a wrestler! Two on the shoulder, now roll off!

When you try to avoid drama, it finds you. On my last trip just in December, I shagged a semi-pro from Mtwapa with massive tits, decent ass, but she is really just a WG. So as I'm with miss massive ass, I'm spotted by the other girl. As the place is small, I see her everywhere, and she's texting me almost daily asking why I'm doing this to her. Hmmm, I don't know, maybe its because your a ho that professed her love to the guy calling from Germany as I'm fucking you?

I'm trying to make the shift to coastal mongering from Nairobi, but I just don't know the place, and it will take some time I'm not willing to invest. I'm a club guy, that likes a FEW brains in my women. A little time wasted, but my fact finding mission turned into a charity for a hard working woman with a lovely bum. God loves mongers that give generously. On to Nairobi!

Was looking at this for a booked trip this summer.

If not here then where?

Priorities in order:

Girl friendly. Prefer security makes her leave if ID. Makes her less likely to split in the middle of the night with my iPhone (yes I will likely lock in up, but I like to play smooth music with my lady in bed; listening to music through the walls of a safe affects sounds quality and the perception of trust I'm trying to build.

Security. The little stuff I bring won't be stolen, in room safe for valuables. Preferably the ability to key lock the front door from the inside. See above.

Good wifi.

A / see. It will be June / July, decent number of outlets for laptop, phone etc.

Right on the beach is nice and I would pay a bit more for it, but not required.

Not that clear as a first timer how readily motorcycle taxis or regular taxis are from where we might be staying.

The taxi guys have cell number and will pick you up?

Thoughts for $30-$40 day, or they like $250/ week?

Thanks!

Sai rock apartments. Secure, on the beach, central location, half price of cowrie. Wifi like all Kenya is hit miss.

Just got back from Kenya, let me share with you guys some info;.

Diani,

I stayed at New Bidi badu hotel, cool place, girl friendly and right on the beach.

Is not a high standard, but staff is really cool, with a beach bar, grill on the beach.

Diani, is a quiet area not many places to hunt but still you can pick up easily.

40 thieves; if lucky, you can find nice girls from 3 or 4 pm.

Tandoori; it can be a good start for the evening (most girls are pro).

Shakatak; You should wait 1 or 2 am, to have some choice (pro and semi pros).

Price; most of them start by 5 k, as they see you as the perfect mzungu, I negotiated to 3 k, for the night. I know it could be less but we are talking about 5 to 10 euros difference.

I met some badoo girls, I had great sessions with them and they did not ask for money. Some of them just want to meet white men for a drink or restaurant. Of course, I did all gift them money the morning.

Bamburi,

Much more action there.

I stayed at Cowrie Shell hotel apartments. No problem to bring in girls. Not necessary to check them in at reception, it's up to you to stop by the reception or not.

City malls: You can meet girls everywhere, just smile say Hi, and you'll get her phone number. Talk to her on whatsapp, they are all ok to meet the evening for a drink then sex.

Casaurina: This place starts to be packed from 11 pm. Best thing is to arrive at 10, sit in from of the entrance and watch the girls arriving. Large choice, just say Hi, they will immediately come to you.

Cheers; This place has WG from afternoon. Expats, pass there to pick up for ST. Girls there are pushy, they do not stop coming to you, one after one. It becomes annoying at the end.

Sheba club; This club is higher standard than Casaurina, good place to have fun, dance, a pick up. You can find semi pros, or even non pros. Pros, do not want to show they are, so they won't come to you unless you talk to her and invite her to join.

The lounge: Kind of place for expats and rich locals. For the girls, it's same as sheba.

Anuba: It's a cool night club, packed on weekends, many WG. I went there with a girl, so did not have the chance to talk to them. However, most of them stay close to the counter.

Tapas; Kind of tapas restaurant that turns into a club from 11. Not many WG as most of customers are locals. I did not like much the music (too much hip hop).

I met a non pro who stayed with me my last 2 days. We had great time together. She was like my GF, she did not ask for any money or expected me to do some shopping. I did gift her the day I left.

As a conclusion, Bamburi is a good place to monger, Diani is better to relax with GF. You can be active in bomber till your last drop of juice.

I did not have any trouble with people or girls, just one who got bit drunk so I asked her to leave and not sleep with me.

For those who asked about taxi, use uber much cheaper and efficient (2 or 3 $ the ride). Get a local number, it helps much.

By the way, all girls do not mind pictures even with face, so don't be shy to ask them to take pictures.

Hi,

I just got back from Bamburi, I stayed at cowrie.

I posted my report, which I guess will be published soon.

Cowrie is a good place to stay, very Girl Friendly. Is your choice to check her in or not.

I was bringing different girl everyday, even 2 same day.

No issues at all.

WIFI is very good in rooms and beach restaurant.

Cowrie is close to Casaurina, 200 sh uber, and 300 sh to sheba lounge.

Not much around, you need to walk along the beach 20 to 25 minutes to reach Yuls restaurant.

Excellent update. Business as usual. I miss Mtwapa.

But since the paved the road, the Tombstone feeling is gone. Miss the kenyan chics. The best in the sack.

Hope to be back in Paradise soon. Accommodation wise I found monger timeshare great. My expat mate keeps a room in Shanzu for me. 5 minutes walk to the beach.

I regret I did not go to Casablanca in Mombassa.

I was too far for me from Bamburi to get there during the night and I was always too busy with the girls I met.

However, one girl told me that in the basement of Casablanca, the is a private area with very hot shows; lesbians, couples, smoky pussies,.

Did anyone go there? Is that true? Is it worth going by cab from Bamburi?

I am already considering my next trip to Kenya (probably Malindi / Bamburi) in September.

Thanks.

I was told that recently there have been 4 people murdered in Mtwapa, amongst them some pro's.

Also I heard that a muzungu was attacked near Merry Villa, which is (fortunately) still rare in Mtwapa.

As usual it is difficult to find out if these reports are true, nothing can be found in the newspapers.

Also it is mentioned that police are not really interested in these cases, as there are "only prostitutes" involved.

Same thing happened earlier this year when a serial killer was active in Mombasa, who was also targeting prostitutes.

Anyone on the spot who has heard about these events?

But nowadays they have a club right at the beachside, called Moonshine with events every night .
If you stay there and you take a girl to that club you might be able to smuggle her into your room, maybe .

Got it.
Instead of an hotel consider an apartment like in Posting 3144.
To a newbie there is a point in recommending a beach hotel since they offer some comfort. But the drawback is that they are oriented towards families and do not allow girls. The only exception I know of is Kahama, but this place has other massive drawbacks.

As a non guest I recently entered both via main entrance and the beachbar to the hotel garden and took a bed - something which was possible with many other hotels years before, but nowadays is almost impossible. The Reef seems not very carefully guarded in this respect, so maybe the same goes for hotel guests inviting girls.

Just returned from a few weeks in Mombasa, I stayed in Bamburi area. I have been to Kenya many many times so know the place very well.

June is the quiet season and with the huge downturn in tourism the last 10 years it was the most quiet I have ever seen it.

There are always girls around, be it in the malls, cafes, bars or on the roadside and most are available. The clubs such as Sheba, lounge bar, Hypnotica, Casarinha, cheers were all very quiet and even on the weekends did not get that busy.

I always got quoted 3000 ks, £22, $28, off the girls and never bothered to bargain as times are very hard for them at the moment and it is not a lot of money for getting what you want for a few hours or more, they would accept 2000 ks and plenty 1000 ks.

The whole hotel situation at bamburi beach and mtwapa is simply bad. Nothing comparable with Asia!

Sai rock: old rooms! Overpriced as you said.

Indiana: they show nice pics at the website, but don't go there. Poorly maintained, smelling rooms, managed by Indians.

Kahama: see the ealier report, which is totally correct. The author should publish it at tripadvisor!

And Kahama gives discounts up to 50% to locals, but to Mzungus. Try it. LOL.

Kenya bay: much worth than Kahama!

Pappillon: what a joke, that place.

Bamburi beach resort: LOL. Try to book there by package tours. You will be surprised how much they charge for 'visitors'.

Cannot really recommend one hotel there. Including Mtwapa. All poor compromises.I am a sucker for quirky hotels, and have spotted Ziwa Beach Resort. Previously Bamburi BR I think. However having RTFF pages 1-50 this quote is the only reference I can find, and its mention of "You will be surprised how much they charge for 'visitors' " is a bit of a worry. PortugalChris. I stayed earlier this year at Ziwa Beach Resort and there were no guest charges. There's also no receptionist around at night, just a Masai watchman who gave me a big grin and thumbs up when I brought a girl home, so no walk of shame. Quite a pleasant place all in all - 24 hour bar, good staff and security, a nice deck to sit and watch the sea. No TVs in the rooms, but with the number of babes in Mombasa you can create your own entertainment.

BTW the guest issues might be at Bamburi Beach *Hotel* (not Resort) which is a few yards up the beach: this seems to be more of a Euro package tour type hotel. Ziwa Beach Resort used to be called Bamburi Beach Resort, and changed its name because of confusion between the two.

Ziwa Beach Resort used to be called Bamburi Beach Resort,I stayed there some years ago, when it was still named Bamburi Beach Resort.

If you rent one of the apartments (not a bungalow) you have to share the veranda, or balcony containing the kitchen with the people staying in the apartment next to you.

If you have no neighbours it's OK, but it might happen that you have a complete (Indian) family next door, with a bunch of children running in & out and the ladies cooking food from morning till evening.

If your going to pay $65 a night your better off at Sai rock apartments. They ask for 6000 ks but you might get them down to 5000 ks or 5500 ks which is $50 and $60 respectively. Sai rock is very secure being a main hotel and they have generator so no power cuts. Also GF as long as she has ID they copy at reception going in so offers security that way too. Location wise it is perfect, on the beach, next door to cheers bar, big tree, 5 minutes to supermarkets and 10 minutes to mtwapa.

Rooms are spacious, air con, mozzy nets, cooking facilities. They could do with a bit tlc but in Africa they usually all do. If you use them ask to be shown 2 or 3 apartments and pick the best one.

BTW I have no affiliation with this place but I use it all the time when in Mombasa, as knowing Mombasa very well it is as far as I know the best overall place at present in terms of value.

It is very normal that tourist say bye-bye Kenya.I totally agree Willyboy and the majority of hotels are way overpriced for the facilities they provide. Nothing wrong in registering a girl at reception and as you say it's a bit of insurance they won't get out if there's trouble. I think most pro's and semi's know this too and that's why I stay away from cheap places, not only for comfort but security as well. The country will continue losing tourists as long as they adopt this take it or leave it attitude. Time for a major upheaval for the owners of these places to bring them up to a European / USA standard when they're actually charging more or less the same prices with no hot water or back up gen sets for power cuts which are pretty common occurrence there.

65 dollar for one hotel room is more than 2 week work for room cleaner, No!

Its a actually a month salary. Cleaners, security officers (Askari) get 6000 or 7000 a month.

In Mtwapa an apartment for fits the Mzungu standards start from 10000 per month, but girls share a cheap African style "one room apartment".

The best time to visit Mombasa is from December first to Jan 15. In this time girls from all over Kenya's flooding the streets. December is also school one month vacation so eager girls out of school looks for fun. Clubs is fully packed as well.

The hotels are for the most part owned by very rich Kenyans and usually they are multi millionaire politicians, they can easily sit back with them making no money. The mentality in Kenya is if there no customers put the price up, not down like any proper business would. As said the price for rooms and the standard of them is very poor compared to most other countries. You either pay it or go elsewhere, its life.

Hotel price and standards is greatly hindering Kenyan tourism with visa fees and very poor infrastructure.

Or did you just check the ownership and the possessions or rather the political activity of the owners of all the Kenayn hotels yourself? Its a well known fact that most north coast beach lands are owned by the kenyatta clan and other politicians which lease them to indians and other kenyan investors. Nobody cares if these hotels are full or empty. There is an indian price cartel on north coast no room is to be sold less than 3000 bob a day.

And yes I will monger in Kibera. Nothing to worry about. Elections, Coup d Etats, Famines, Local Wars,Terror Attacks, Tourist murders are all part of daily life in Africa. Going to Mombasa, hopefully it will be calm there.

I was once forcefully evacuated from Kenya around New Year some 9 years ago. We were driven to the airport in a bus with an armed policeman in front of the bus, avoiding the main road through Bombolulu, but instead taking the road through Nyali.

The riots will start after the election as lots of Kenyans want Obuto out so they told me to wait until the end of September when things have cooled down.

Who is Obuto? You seem to be expert on kenyan politics? I don't care about elections only erections. Haha.

Ah you mean Uhuruto. Of course the Luos want him out. Its tribal. Everybody seems to be afraid of a 2007 repeat. But its 2017. 2013 I was there to watch Uhurus Inauguration. At that time there was a spate of tourist killings in Old town. And riots about extrajudicial killings of imams through security forces. Its about sharp rising food prices and draught declared in half of kenyan counties. And public debt piled up by jubilee. Well I ll report from pre and postelection.

Who hopes to have a lot of erections during elections.
23 days more to go.

I would be more worried about Al Kebab. The cuttroats just attacked a police station in Lamu...

I was in Diani and Nairobi a couple of weeks ago. I met several Luo, Luhya and a Kissii who will go back home during election time although it seemed to be as much about the anticipated lack of tourists as about any possible violence. One is moving to Kampala for a month, 'I'm a hustler, what else can I do?' she said.

I imagine the coast will be fine and they won't be targeting tourists in any case.

OK, I've been here a week's time now and here are my experience so far.

In general the whole area is very quiet. It seems like the elections is having a deep impact on everything tourist and combined with the low season, it's almost ghostly at times.

The only two places that is happening in the weekdays seems to be Casuarina and Safari Inn. Plenty of girls and only a handfull of wazungu.

The weekends is a whole different story. All the regular places like Sheba, The Lounge etc got some really good action going on.

My favourite experience so far was Hypnotica on Saturday. Not really a monger place, this is more like a nightclub with an international standard, and is supposedly the best club in town.

The hottest chicks I've seen so far! Not many wazungu, this is where the cool locals go to party. Not the place for slippers and dirty t-shirts. But if you put on a nice outfit and.

Don't mind spending some cash on drinks and shisa, you can make a lot of new friends here and have a really good time. The atmosphere was really welcoming, plenty of small groups of girls looking for a good time.

None of the girls I talked to seemed to be WG's but even though I'm probably twice their age, most seemed really eager to hook up. I was there until 7-8 in the morning and left with a 19 y hottie.

I did spend some money on drinks and the aforementioned shisa, but money was never discussed with the girl. I gave her around 2000 the next day for "taxi". She didn't even count it, and seemed embarrassed to take it.

Great experience, and highly recommended if you want to hunt instead of being hunted. It's still like hunting in a game resort.

This is my first time in Kenya, but I have quite a lot of experience with Africa, including Dar es Salaam. So far, Kenyan girls seems best for GFE. The non-pro's are very approachable and easy to hook up with.

The pro's seem very pro, and too hardened for my taste. But it could be that the election and the low season brings out the hardest hustlers and that the more inexperienced ones stay at home.

In fact, I prefer girls still in their teens or early 20's and so far I've been a little disappointed with the regular mongering clubs as the average seems more milfy than teeny.

Everyone I've talked to say that Mombasa Town is dead when it comes to clubs and partying. Nyali, Bamburi and Mtwapa is where the action is they say.

So I haven't bothered to check out Casablanca yet, the rumour is that it's heydays are over.

So to sum it up, in the weekends the mall clubs (Sheba, The lounge, Tapas etc) are a good option. But in the weekdays Mtwapa is the best bet. This place is always happening and I've talked to girls.

Who go to Casuarina after being bored of the lack of action at Sheba. It seems all roads leads to this place. Also many of the girls who hang at Safari Inn end up there in the end of the night.

I have one question though I hope someone can help me with. A driver told me that there is brothels (private houses) in the Nyali area where you can find Indian and Arab girls.

He didn't know any specifics though. I love black booty, but would really like to try something else as well while I'm here. A Muslim girl is sort of a fantasy for me.

I've had no luck so far getting any more info on this, it seems like this is really underground due to cultural stigma. Does anyone have more info on this?

I was fucking a Muslim girl in Mombasa for a couple of years but she got a little too clingy for my liking so she got the boot. Loads of pussy around and I've seen a few very good looking Muslims in City Mall, had a few smiles from them but I don't know if its me or them that seem un-approachable but you'll never know till you try. Just give them a smile and see, it could lead to something. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay and keep reporting on your findings. Happy hunting and good luck.

Which hotel you stayed in Bamburi?

Transportation cost from bamburi to mombasa town or mtwaba or any other beach you have been?

Which transport: Bus / motorbike or taxi?

Its easy to transport around those areas with tuk tuk mombasa style or something else?

Travelling also solo in November and only issue I have is where to stay according transportation options, so I will be able to move around for sighseeing / swimming / street food and fun.

Thanks in advance for your time.

From 1st August on it is possible to book 7 days in advance. They stopped online booking as apparently loads of touts bought up tickets and resold them a a higher price. Further again Tourists are discriminated against again. All NON EAC citizens are being charged 4000 ksh versus Economy class costing 700 ksh and 1st class 3000 for locals. The only way to get a ticket is you have to physically get out to the stations which are in the middle of nowhere and buy a ticket well in advance. While the train is extremly comfortable and running on time, getting a ticket is a pain in the neck.

I stay at Cowrie Shell apartments. Technically it turns out to be besides Bamburi beach, in a area called Shanzu. It's not a hotel, but serviced apartments. Nice standard and GF. It's located right in the middle between Mtwapa and Nyali so I like the location a lot. I recommend you to contact them directly for the best rates. They have a lot of vacancies these days, so you can get a really good deal! Other than that I have no recommendations as this is the only place I stayed at so far.

Uber has made it really easy to move around and without the hassle of dealing with taxis with wazungu rates. Even if you get a normal taxi, just use the app to check how much the fare would be.

The taxis are aware, so just show them the app and they will give you the ride for the same price. I tend to pay around 300-350 ksh going to either Mtwapa or City Mall (Sheba lounge etc).

You can get a tuk-tuk for even less (ca 200 ksh), but considering the convience and comfort of Uber and or taxi it's not really worth the hassle. Cheapest option is boda boda which are motorbike taxis (same fare ca 100 ksh). I love them at rush hour since they will save you a lot of time if there's a traffic jam. However I'm a crazy MF and it can be really dangerous, especially at night. So this is not something that I recommend! As long as you stay anywhere north of Mombasa city, say between Nyali and Mtwapa, the distances are not very far. Whether you like the uptown vibe of the mall clubs or the dusty classic Afro vibes the Mtwapa clubs has to offer it will all be within easy reach without spending too much on transportation. Nyali, Bamburi, Shanzu and Mtwapa are all good places to stay IMHO.

A little comment on the whole election thing. I spent some time drinking with a group that works with providing supplies for the UN forces. They told me that they are shutting down their operations for a week while the election is going on, and await to see how it will evolve. HOWEVER, this was not including the Mombasa area. It was in the more rural areas trouble is expected. So as long as you don't go hunting for village pussy while the election is going on and you'll probably be fine The Al-Shababs are more of a real and enduring threat to public safety then. But these days even the major cities in Europe is affected by the threat of terror so who gives a damn. I sure as hell won't.

At BobBlack, Yes I've seen those girls and even chatted a bit with a few in Badoo. However it's seems tricky, the ones I've talked to don't frequent clubs and seem quite conservative to the whole dating / compensated dating thing. So so far, this is a can of worms I've refrained from opening. If anyone has some more experience hooking up with Arab girls in this area please comment.

Even if you get a normal taxi, just use the app to check how much the fare would be.Even cheaper than UBER is TAXIFY. It also has an app. Kenyans consider UBER expensive. You, as a foreigner, will still likely get a jacked price though. The GF ordered my Taxify to the airport, but he still asked for 300 more than the stated price. She reported him.

Finally after settling all logistics, I went out night for a chica check to my favourite hounts. First of all. Chica numbers out at night were disappointing. Most ugly and hardcore. But I still had fun.

Kendas. That place has unfortunately been converted. There used to be a central round bar with ugandan Strippers dancing on top. All gone. Dead. But great DJ. Latest Bongo tunes.

Banhof. Calls themselves now Bistro? Empty converted. African flair gone.

Casuarina. Dead except I was approached by some hardcores. And always the same 80's disco. Actually one with a very skinny tall body. Outrageous high heels. Had good chats Always inquire where the come from, which tribes etc. Chatting about politics. But hakuna deal.

Naiz. That place was PACKED mostly men. Good live music. Lingala. Good african vibez, thanks god not converted. Just how I liked it. Was invited by three Massai chics. One the face was nothing to write about, but, the body and tits. I sank my eyes into that cleavage. Poor thing hat a tooth broken out as it is the customs. Had a lot fun chatting, almost took her home, but too hardcore. Drinking liquor nevertheless shaked her ass in front of me. She will not disappear. Mtwapa is small.

Daytime hunting, I saw LOADS and I mean LOADS of potentials running around. Loads of sharply dressed chicas in broad daylight. Just sit in the morning at Toms bakery near Merry villas. There is a big sign COFFEE. And enjoy the traffic passing by.

Last night I scored a 20 y old with KILLER body Meru. I chatted her up in one of the street joints in the afternoon, she was sitting there with to Rastas, actually I hardly talked to her as she told she is going back to Meru tomorrow. But. Fate intervened, One day later I ran into her in the morning, Invite for a soda, interview, date set in the evening. TOTALLY sweet GF experience. I think I will keep her over elections. DATY BBBJ Cowgirl finished in Mish. And we massaged each other after soaping together in the shower. Sweet A Cups. Send her on the way after some hours of enjoyment with 1000 ksh taximoney.

So guys. Daytime hunting is the name of the game.

Hakuna shida.

Hi guys. Still alive. Elections over. Uhuru garnered 54% of the votes. A bit of Luo rioting in Kisumu and in some slum areas in Mombasa and Nairobi. Police shot 24 people. So by African standards quiet elections. Friday 9. Pm election results were announced. So time to kick out my meru kikuyu mix. She gave 10 days sterling service for about 7000 ksh. Time to drink some beers. There is a new joint called lions bar opposite eagles nest. Run by a Frenchman. After swapping stories I went to causarina. I enjoyed myself dancing and drinking tusker baridi and looking at all the wazungu newbies waiting to be ripped off by the Malayas. Some more intelligence. The place to be in Nyali is now Anuba bar on top of Naivas. FriSat there is always Nonpros hunting for wazungu husbands. In Mtwapa I shagged a luo ghetto booty which wanted to complement her income. Good service. F. ing sucking etc. Very dark skinned. Slightly sagging ass. And sloppy big tits. But hey for a grand. No complaints. But now I spotted a nice new waitress. Big tits nice ass tall. Today I ll take her number. A luhya from kakamega. And in Monday I ll leave the coast of lies and betrayal and make my way inland to the unexplored interior where few wazungu dare to tread.

Watch out for reports of the great EA f. K tour.

2 swiss nationals were killed on Friday and the bodies dumped on the roadside near kiembeni. They arrived at the airport at night and were picked up by the janitor of the residence they were staying in Nyali. They never arrived.

It looks to be an inside job. Probably they resisted and were killed outright. So I don't see tourism recover with these incidents.

A big thanks to Neddy for keeping us up to date and all the valuable information shared. He is a true pioneer of mongering!

About Big Tree I really like the place for its location, bar and partly the staff! In an other thread Neddy mentioned that you shouldn't pay more than 3000 kes / night. According to my information they have rooms for 2500, a big apartment for 4500 and most of the 'apartments' go for 3500. Am I really the only idiot as a return visitor paying that rate of 3500?

Also, a friend of mine told me that Thomas (the night security guy at the gate) is nowadays collection IDs from female visitors at night. Has anyone recently experienced the same? I always preferred the anonymity of my visitors in front of nosy guys like him. Lolz.

Would be great if someone could share his experience!

Sorry, I can't give you more info about what's going on in the night there, but what struck me is that I found about half of the Big Tree entertainment area has been washed away by the waves of the Ocean.

So the dancefloor and the so-called VIP section are just washed away with some ruined floors and walls remaining.

Also nowadays at high tide the waves are reaching both the sitting areas (inside and the "islands" where the girls are waiting for their "Princes" have now become real islands at high tide.).

The normal entrance to go to the beach is blocked by huge, sharp rocks, so it takes some manoeuvering to get into the water.

I don't know what is the cause of all this, the rising sealevel, the climate change, el Nio, or whatever.

Concerning the food I would say it is OK mostly, but it can take some time, especially when many orders are running at the same time.

Also that time the tide was very high and took away some parts of the wall. It was partly impossible to walk from big tree to pirates. At that time the manager was pretty relaxed about it. He said that every year around July / August the water comes up like this. This year, however, seems to be a bit worse.

By the way one of the users here has a very big, comfortable and modern apartment very close to big tree. If anyone is interested please PM me and I will set up the contact.

Bit tree security guys, they are not so strict asking ID: s as before, I guess it changed when that Italian owner went back to Europe? But I think taking two girls is still not possible, in my last trip in springtime I took short time girl, her friend was supposed to wait in my kitchen, but security came to kick the second girl away.

I wrote to Nairobi forum about this train between Mombasa and Nairobi. My conclusion, better to fly. Now it is easy to get cheap flights, because of this new train.

Your assistance will be very much appreciated.

Your assistance will be very much appreciated. On the main road in between Nakumatt and the Bamburi junction there is a place on the right hand side of the road (the old black Savanah club) and ask for a guy called Victor. I have used him for 10 years, no probs at all.

Hope you find it, I don't have his number handy sorry as I'm out of Kenya at the moment.

On my google maps it is coming up as Cuba libre and Taurus bar.

May I ask: what cars is he renting out and how much is it per day?I found the place, asante sana!

They have two models of smaller Toyota cars (I can't remember all these different model names}.

They told me prices of 2500 to 3000 per day, probably cheaper if you rent for a longer period.

I can give you telephone number and / or email / website by pm if you want.

I noticed some SW's around the corner of the main road to Malindi and the Links Road (the road that goes into Nyali). This is near the two malls (Nakumatt and Naivas) , just at the entrance of Bob's Bar.

I have seen them on the street there in the weekend, haven't been there in the weekdays.

I didn't talk to them, as I was with company.

BTW, of all the clubs in that area (Anuba, the Lounge, Tapa's etc.) I believe Club Hypnotica has the best sound system. All these places don't have a proper dance-floor, as most people (mostly well-to-do Kenyans) come to drink. But every here & there people dance as they feel like.

Hypnotica has the added advantage that you don't have to pay 1000 for entrance.

If you come back later in the night to Casuarina you really see how run-down that place is, with a very run-down sound system.

On the other hand, it seems that Nakumatt is slowly running bankrupt or something like that. I heard that some of their stores have closed and also in the Nyali branch more & more empty shelves can be seen.

Those SW are always around there Zimzam, they are in that area for the passing truck drivers and locals. No way you want to try them when plenty others floating around.

Not safe to be Swiss these days. Most of these jobs are inside jobs. Usually about money, jealousy, inheritance. A contract kill sets you back only a couple of 100 dollars. As a tourist you face primarily violent muggings. Just stay calm, hand over anything you have. The fire was near Bamburi beach resort. In most cases. Insurance fraud...

Elderly Swiss man found murdered, but not robbed in Mtwapa.

It turned out to be no murder.

What at first seemed to be knife stabbing wounds were found to be caused by fish eating from the body.

So the man got into the water somehow and was found there.

The owner of Safari Inn organized a ceremony and his ashes were spread into the Mtwapa Creek.

A relief for the expat community.

Clearly deep Machete wounds. But more convenient. Eaten by fish. Another case closed. But there was the case of a German woman which was stabbed several times. Of course it turned out to be suicide. The kenyan boyfriend inherited the house. That's how things are done in Kenya. A suitable kito kidogo. And nobody is interested in Expat murders. Bad publicity. So. He was eaten by fish. Hehe. Judging from Paddocks latest handiwork).

If that expat lived for long in Kenya and he was actually killed, may be it was probably not just because he was an expat, but because may be he tried to steal another man's wife or he did some other similarly aggressive thing. I know many expats happily living in Kenya who have not been found dead and are unlikely to be found dead because they try to keep safe. All I can say is that we should try to keep safen whatever we do. But sometimes shit just happens.

If he was not murdered a cause of death could be heart stroke and then he felt into the water and the fishes began to eat into his flesh. So by the way a high percentage of the older expat population are very sexually active in Mtwapa and when they indulge in drinking alcohol excessively and use more or less viagra / vega the heart is at risk. Some people I know died for this reason. A bit crude statement but the young sexy girls can be dangerous for old men. Or men in general as I read recently a report that in the Dominican Republic viagra and similar are new only available on medical prescription because of abuse and excessive use by the YOUNG population.

You can ask on the DR board, but as recently as a couple of months ago, Viagra and its genetic equivalent were available for sale at any pharmacy or even supermarket without a prescription. Pretty much any drug was.

There is generic and name brand (Pfizer) viagra as well as Cialis everywhere.

I don't think many people die from viagra in the DR, or anywhere else (unless someone stupidly gives them nitrates, such as sublingual nitroglycerin). Nothing in life is totally risk free, not even sex.

The most sold products are "la pela" and "mambo 36" and are cialis generica produced in the DR and last 36 hours. Many young folks take them and when the effect is not coming they take an overdose and many take alcohol meanwhile, so health is compromised. Good idea to consult the DR board.

Stayed there last summer.

Nice, clean, good security.

WiFi worked reasonably well in the apartments my friend / travel buddy and I each rented and for around $40 a night, on the beach, all was good.

Even the on site restaurant Suli Suli has an excellent chef.

But my friend is there as we speak; the elevator is out and will be for his whole stay (it was last summer too, but this obviously is no longer an anomaly). His WiFi hasn't worked in days, the water pressure for.

The shower is practically non- existent.

Can anyone make another suggestion for booked trips in April and July of next year?

Priorities are:

Security, security and more security (in room safe to 24 hour gatehouse).

Clean, near or on beach.

Balcony.

Good On site or nearby restaurant.

Frankly, other than WIFI and water pressure Cowrie is pretty damn good with a location near Mtwapa and Nyali that is perfect.

Any other suggestions or are we too picky at that price point?

You can't receive PM's.

Maybe your friend could contact me?

Thanks.

I was around last year at the same time. Also that time the tide was very high and took away some parts of the wall. It was partly impossible to walk from big tree to pirates. At that time the manager was pretty relaxed about it. He said that every year around July / August the water comes up like this. This year, however, seems to be a bit worse.

Arrived into Mombasa yesterday morning. Relaxed by the day at the beach and got a massage. Grabbed nice tall slim 23 yrs girl from a local club yesterday evening, great firm body as no kids, she got an hour of good pounding off me before I gave her 2000 ks and she thanked me for the sex, she did not even check the money as she said I am sure you are good.

Onwards and upwards.

Priorities are:There is no word in Swahili for maintenance. Places open and are good for a couple of years then they go back over. It is Kenya.

There is not really much in terms of decent value accommodation in all north coast. I use sai rock apartments as I have done so the last 10 years. Spacious apartments but they are now in need of updating which won't happen. It is Kenya. They are secure, GF, but still don't leave valuables around. It is Kenya, when I check in I take 3 keys and check the best apartment out of the 3, I. E. Shower power, state of room, air con works etc.

Decent food is even hard to come by these days, safari inn is OK for pub type food, Roberto Italian in Nyali, cafeserie in Nakumatt, Casaurinha does good chicken but takes an hour to arrive. Kenya is not for the luxury or all things run properly traveller.

Wrote a report yesterday and couldn't post due to the net going on and off all the time here at Sai rock. Rained for last 2 days non stop and I am unprepared as I usually have a few numbers to call in for such occurrences.

There are girls about in cheers and Casaurinha all be it not many, usually 10 to 15 but certainly 3 or 4 worth getting a hold of. One asked me for 5 k so she got told 2 k of which she declined, so be it, plenty will find 2 k very much to their liking. Took a girl back from cheers, she said just give me what you want, gave her 2 k and she didn't even count it.

Tinder works very easily to hook up if you want it other than that just say a Hello, to any woman and they almost always respond and are fuckable within no time.

Hi friends,

First time in Africa in general (after many many times in S. E. Asia).

Arriving in 3 weeks around, and book 6 days safari in Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli (575 e all included. Karibu).

Arriving after in bamburi and stay at Cowrie Shell for at least 6 nights and maybe up to 14 (if I would not have fun probably remove to diani or north to kilifi or).

I would like your help on your following questions or anything else you believe.

Bars. Restaurants in the night need long trousers / jean? Short jean or something similar? (someone says something about it on previous topics.).

Which bars you recommend?

Except restaurants in bamburi exist street food like in Thai? Or I have to use took took (day time. Night only uber or taxi) to Mombasa town?

Where is the best street food area?

Where to exchange money in bamburi? Or in general?

Something else for my help?

I have read almost everything and search a lot.

I hope I will not have any problem, be safe and I will upload my stories shortly.

Thanks.

At Mtwapa you can visit Casaurina disco if you go Nyali most popular places are Sheba, Anuba, lounge, tapas, hypnotica. If you looking find girls for night best to go Casaurina, Sheba and Anuba I think at daytime you can find some girls at bamburi big tree bar or near at beach also at nyali nakummat shopping mall. You can wear jeans or shorts its doesn't matter because clubs no have dress code for tourist man.

Wear what you want in the restaurants and clubs, only long trousers if your in the big all inc hotels.

Bars, Cheers, Casaurinha, danke, sheba and lounge at nakumat complex and the 2 or 3 around naivas complex. Mon, Tues., weds they can be quiet.

Not really street food as such but they have little "local restaurants" around and about, you can get rice, chapati, chicken, goat, etc it is cheap, just make sure it is hot.

Exchange money, if you go cheers bar there is a row of shops at the side of it, the very end shop ask for mike directly as he is usually the best rates and won't try to scan you.

It is very very different from Thailand in Kenya.

Just because you can get away with something doesn't make it right!

You think you are so amazing that girls are just dying to be with you? That some hot girl wouldn't prefer to be with someone closer to her own age with twice your sexual stamina?

I think you are kidding yourself.

They might not ask for money directly, but as a gentleman you should offer. If they turn you down, fine.

But to not slip some money in their purse is a loser move. It's taking advantage and showing yourself to be classless.

You are traveling hundreds if not thousands of miles to a 3rd world country to meet young women who miraculously throw themselves at you and you think it's ok not to pay them, just bc you can get away with it?

Way to go buddy, you should be proud of yourself.

Hello all,

It's already many months ago, nevertheless I would like to share my experiences from my second trip to Mtwapa.

On my first trip I tried to follow the advice of many frequent posters on this board, and I succeeded well and had a nice holiday. However I still felt being 'played' to a certain extent as I realized that these girls often made the same 'salary' in 1-2 nights than the average wage of a hard working kenyan in the hotel I was staying it. I could only come to one conclusion which was in fact already often suggested on this board: the majority of white men in Kenya are over-paying. Second, I feel the majority of white men think they are in control cause they have the money, which is mostly an illusion. For the most part, the african woman is largely in control on different levels. The only conclusion I could come to next, was that in fact the majority of these girls can afford to lose some time on you.

So before my second trip I gave myself a challenge. To get laid about once a day, without spending a single shilling directly on sex. Shillings were only allowed to be spend on drinks or meal for the girl and definitely not on presents or sex.

Next I thought about a strategy to apply, to maximum the girlfriend / sex experience on one hand, and to minimize the financial spending on the other hand. I approached it as a game to be played, an adventure in which my goal was to become the master deceiver. To play the game like the girls play it. To "fight" them with their own weapons: lies, deception and psychological warfare.

I created the following rules:

- Before you take a girl to your room or you go to her place, etc. Always ask her first if she is a malaya. And state that you dislike malaya's very much. Only go with her, if she says no. If you can get this in written form via sms it's even better. Remember it's all about psychology.

- Dream / Story-telling, pretend that you are searching for everlasting love but that you are very careful because you heard so many bad stories about african women. This will make her feel doubt and gamble: either invest her body / time in you without getting financial value, or a potential ticket to USA / Europe in long term, etc.

- Never never ask a girl for sex or start sex first. Even when laying in the same bed naked, make her start to approach you.

- Lie lie lie, excuses excuses excuses, create a story about yourself, what you do, your life etc. Which is not true, tell this story to every single girl. First, this will make it easier for you not to make mistakes and second the story will be consistent once the girls start talking to each-other.

- Create a network of girls. This can be done beforehand via the internet. The goal is not necessary to date them, but to use them as a buffer in case things go wrong. In other words, when a girl start to make trouble or do not want to leave. You can call another one to show up.

- If a girl makes trouble, use the strategy of passive resistance. Refuse to argue, hence even refuse to speak any longer with her, leave the place immediately of place of argue, etc. The only thing you will say once is 'I never pay for sex, and by the way prostitution is illegal according to Kenyan law'.

I've spend one week there:

- Girl 1: was a girl I spend several days with at her home on my first trip. She was a good lay so I thought it would be a good start. She picked me up in downtown Mtwapa and she wanted to spend the full week with me. As she gained too much pounds according to my preference, I banged her once, took a shower, watched some tv, etc. Then I told her that "the feelings I had to her" were apparently not the same anymore as last time, and I felt I had to leave. She was very surprised. Next she said she can't pay her electricity bill etc. So I left 500 shilling on the table, which should cover for the foods and drinks I took from her place. Case closed.

- Girl 2: Big Tree. She was young. 19 I think. Good Looking. Her friend asked if she could come to have a drink with me. I said I was not interested. Was reading a book. One hour later she came to me herself and ordered the bartender a drink for me which she paid. I accepted and started chatting with her. Next bought her a drink also (to stay even) , and 2 hours later I stood up and said I will go back to my hotel to eat dinner. Next she asked if she could come with me. I played my lines with her. We went to the hotel, bought her dinner. We banged. In the morning we banged again. Next she asked 3000 shilling. I reacted surprised and said I could not give her money as it's against my principles. She begged. I refused. Next she left, never gave me another call or ring. She told me I had a heart of stone that nobody could break. Case closed.

- Girl 3: Went out one evening in Caserina. Played the game according to the rules above. I said in daytime that I had to study for university so she had to leave my room and come back in the evenings or go out together. Banged her the first night. Banged her the second night. The third night I said I had a headache (I think not only women have a right to have headaches right?.). Case closed.

- Girl 4: On the night that I had "a headache", I decided just to sit in the bar drinking. At around 23 o'clock a girl came to order some drinks for herself and her african male companion. I chatted with her, puled some jokes etc. She went back to her table. After 15 minutes she asked me to come to sit with them and drink. We talked chit-chat. Apparently the guy could not speak English. 30 minutes later she offered me to go to watch a movie at her place. So we splitted and I followed her. At her place she took a shower, undressed her clothes. Banged her in her big bed. I remember that evening there was no electricity, it was humid and hot, the room was pitch dark and the sex we got was steaming hot, one of the best in my life. Apparently she was living with a girlfriend who was out. Next sleeping. After 30 minutes (long enough to justify my excuse) I told her I was restless and had problems sleeping in a place which was not my own. She called me a motorcycle who brought me back to my hotel and we agreed to meet the next day as she wanted me to go with her to Nairobi. The next day I cancelled the appointment and told her the timeframe was too short to me to travel back and forth to Nairobi. Next I turned my phone off. When I turned it on again 12 hours later I saw she called twice. Case closed.

- Girl 5: internet girl, cousin of a group of 2 cousins and a friend I was playing online for a while. She had to travel from a another city to meet me. We met on Sunday, the day before I would fly back. She was expected to come at about 4 pm.

When I was sitting in the bar outside the hotel. What do I suddenly see. Girl 3 moving in the hotel on her way to my room together with her auntie (in who's place I had eaten spaghetti and drink beers some eve's before we went out together). They approached me in the bar, and were obviously mad that I did not returned the calls etc. So I sad I was ill, and that I could not meet her anymore as I had an appointed in 2 hours with a longtime friend. Next they asked money. So I stayed silent, asked why you need money for? She said, you should show respect for my auntie and the nights I spend with you? I immediately called security and demanded them to remove them from the hotel immediately as I felt threatened (which I overstated to the security). Then in front of all of them (security + girl + auntie) I only said the following: apparently this girl is a malaya as she requests money from me as we spend the night together. However I never promised anything and I never pay for sex, not abroad and not in Kenya and I stated that prostitution is illegal under Kenyan Law. I gave it an extra push by stating that I'm a good christian and would never go with a prostitute. Next I walked to my hotel room and waited till they were gone. Security cleaned the mess and came to inform me about 1 hour later that they were gone.

30 minutes later Girl 4 arrived. I was sitting, drinking and laughing with her in the bar. Lot of eyes on me off course from the personnel. I told her the above story and expressed her my disbelief and stress. She took me out to Tembo and some other clubs, where she kissed me etc. We ended up in bed, again I did not started anything. After one hour she came on top of me and she gave me a great ride. I gave her some money for the trip back to home and a meal. Next online she said she was broke, , wanted to make baby with me, etc. It ended up with her blocking me on facebook. Case closed.

I think I can say I succeeded my mission. On 7 nights I got laid 6 nights and sometimes more than once with minimal financial investment.

I share this story with you, to give a different perspective. I played a game within the game, a game of lies and deception. However I would not advise others to practice it without extreme caution as it could lead to dangerous or unpleasant situations. After all you are on holidays, so the preferred way I think is still the middle way, a mix of the strategies that I applied + the holiday lifestyle of the regular visitor. Which is the same underlying reason as why the vast majority of whites don't mind overspending, cause they want no trouble on their holidays and more importantly don't risk their lives. In which to a large extend I can only applaud them.

It must be said, that the strategies I applied were good but not bulletproof. I think it would have been better if I spend the night everyday at a different hotel. And I'm sure some of you could even highlight other mistakes or suggestions for improvement.

From a psychological perspective it's extremely interesting to experience how you yourself and the girls react in that environment within these conditions. It's the game of poker at it best. I guess it's clear that all-most none of the girls tried to contact me back, they all realized their losses, folded their hands and withdrew from my gaming table. To see and experience this single thing should be a must pass for every mongerer, the realisation that when there is no money on the table you stop meaning anything to them. You are of no value to them anymore, worth nothing. A reality which stands in sharp contrast to the illusion that a lot of whites in Kenya like to believe.

Interesting, very interesting time I had there.

Cheers!

Woef woef, what a prick.

You realise these girls or their families can barely provide 1 proper meal per day never mind 3?

We fuck them and get what we want for $20- $30 it is peanuts, they get money they badly need.

Yes they are almost all liars and scammers but we know that from the get go.

Just because you can get away with something doesn't make it right! Way to go buddy, you should be proud of yourself.Hey Chris,

That's a 2012 post, LOL! Talk about a delayed response. Hell, that guy could be dead by now. I did not bother to read such a long post, but long story short, I got hit up for shillings so much that if a woman did not mention money I took it as she wanted to fuck and not be thought of as a hoe. I have a 22 yo younger Halle Berry look alike that practices law, so am retired for now.

Way to go buddy, you should be proud of yourself.Chris,

That report was way back in 2012, but irrespective of that, I agree totally with what you said in your reply. In addition I'd also, after being confronted by two women in public be living in fear of someone attacking me outside the confines of wherever I'm staying and that is the reality of the situation. I just wonder how some people act and how their minds work.

I agree with Chris. You sir should be ashamed of yourself. These girls are poor and expect some help even if not discussed. You are a sociopath if you think your behaviour warrants approval. People like you with your sense of entitlement give fellow mongerers a bad name.

It is a long time, but having had a good time in Mombasa over the summer and with plans to go back I enjoy reading people's posts.

I guess if there were more comments I wouldn't have to back so.

Far, but it's all good.

Thanks to the board for their entertaining posts and for providing valuable information to all of us.

I am into my 8th day of the 15 days.

I've had 3 women so far, the 1st was a few postings back.

Women 2 and 3 both told me they wanted me to fuck them for free as they were very horny as they put it, so of course as they looked fine I obliged.

No 2 a 5 ft3 medium built, solid good African ass, she was very enthusiastic in the bedroom wanting multiple positions and a long hard fuck. I was exhausted 2 hours later and I am very fit to say the least, so you can imagine how that session went. The bed was soaked and the 2 ladies in the next heard a lot of moaning and headboard banging, they even asked when their turn was the next morning as I sat on my balcony. Only in Kenya!

No 3 got a packet of 5 ladies underwear I had in my luggage left over from my last visit as a gift for a lady I did not meet, she was very pleased about this. She was quite a beauty, 5 ft petite, tight body but the sex was average, she was a little shy which can happen here at times. She left to go meet her Israeli BF this morning after breakfast.

I was in cafeserie this afternoon and a 20 something Nairobi chick was hitting on me, she is in the next door hotel to me so I am writing this as I await her to come to my room.

Plenty of women around during the day if your not shy to approach them, the bars and clubs are hot and miss.

I have had 4 days out of action due to a cold I picked up, energy levels have been zero, I couldn't even lay back and let the woman do the work I've felt that drained. I shall partake again today I think as I head down the home straight of my trip.

My tinder and badoo has went off the charts since I arrived, all manner of ladies wanting to meet up from the fuck and goes to the ones with decent jobs wanting a real BF.

The clubs have picked up from the last 2 years as well it seems though it is nowhere near the heyday of 2003-2007.

Still as always for $20 to $30 you can have almost any lady you see here, be it in a club, mall, on the bus, the street, you just ha e to have the balls to go approach them.

As always it becomes so easy here I get very lazy and let far too many stunner pass me by, I will be regretting it in a weeks time when I am in the cold wet wind and rain back home.

Well my trip is over so here are a few points I have probably made in earlier posts too.

New bar called Danke has opening just a few minutes up the road from Mtwapa, I did not go but it is busy on the weekends I am told.

Casarinahas, still gets the girls after midnight.

Cheers still getting plenty girls.

Lounge gets the higher class (if such a thing in Mombasa) on the weekends.

Sheba was quiet whenever I went in.

The clubs in Naivas complex I did not visit.

Big tree still gets girls during the day.

Overall there is plenty of women to be had and it is a buyers market, they ask for 2 or 3 k and that is very fair both ways.

Sai rock apartments are needing updating these days and if I did not get such a low rate there I would look elsewhere but the location is excellent.

Badoo and tinder work very well for meeting women.

Cafeserrie has good net Wifi.

I am living in Mombasa for many years now but soon I will become tourist again due to various unpleasant incidents and changes in the place.

The two main things are population explosion in Mtwapa area as the infrastructure cannot cope. Another disturbing issue is high death among Expats as almost every day another Mzungu is dying from various mysterious reason. Also walking around the main road is like Russian roulette as huge number of boda boda driving toward you at full speed at the side walk.

Lets shift now from background to the update. The main thing is that today -High season-is officially started after long periods of unpredictable rains and constantly power cut. High season actually mean that you see many bus coming from all over Kenya to Mtwapa loaded with Kenyan tourist and eager girls. The place soon be exploding with hormones. So from now to Jun 7 is also school holiday as girls will come back from school camps back to the coast.

Beside that walking around the Bambury beach you can see former Bamburi beach resort next to Indiana was burned to the ground. It has a new name. Reason? Who knows.

So why this particular season is so exiting? Not only that Girls from all over east Africa is coming but also Normal girls comes from provinces as opposed to the Hard core coast girls that used to whites.

Sky is blue, girls are wet this is very true for Kenyan summer starting now.

Sky is blue, girls are wet this is very true for Kenyan summer starting now.I heard lots of Kenyans come for the weekend from Nairobi using the Madaraka Express which is ridiculously cheap at 700 ksh. So maybe that goes also for for the chicas. What I noticed as well as some Bus Companies run for Example from Kisumu or Nakuru Direct to Mtwapa. As for Expat Residence I tend to agree. I had an Apartment for 2 years in Mtwapa. Most long-term residents left over now in Mtwapa are either drunkards or 80 years old or both. A lot of people left for greener pastures like Tanga or Bagamoyo. Cost of living in Tanzania now 30% less than Kenya. Less lying stealing and cheating and no goons with rusty pistols or machetes trying to relieve of your valuables. Only good part are the sweet chicas. But the rest. Bad value nowadays for food accommodation for long-term residents. But still the best choice for a Beach Holiday where you can shag loads of chicas and enjoy soaking in the Indian Ocean.

Greetings all,

Does anyone have a tip for a clinic to get fast and reliable STD checks? I hooked up with a non-pro keeper last trip and planning on spending much of my upcoming trip with her, but this is Africa so always better to check before barebacking. Google shows Better2 Know in Nyali, $220 for full screen. Anyone got experience with them or other options?

Mada Expert. You said now till Jun 7 is school holiday: that's one generous vacation! I'm guessing you meant Jan 7. Where can these homecoming hotties be found of an evening?

Take her to any clinic. HIV test is around 300 ksh. Wouldn't worry too much about other STDs in Kenya. Other STDs much more common in Morocco and Madagascar. Forget Google. Chicas you can fin anywhere.

They can be found everywhere. Streets, Matatus Pirates beach, church etc. Schoole girls need a bit of a work to be done as opposed to other type. If you lazy just go to badoo or Tinder and start offer money they will come faster then pizza. For me I like daytime street and Matatus.

Clubs will be full as well soon but I am expert in that regard. In Mtwapa street lights of of for two weeks, now they partly restored except the section between the main road via Posta up to Kendas hotel. Its still in dark.

Swiss Cottage Hospital in Mtwapa has a good reputation and not expensive. It is ubicated near posta and is included in the health schemes of the government. Otherwise health centres of the government which are equipped with screeeing facilities for AIDS. An ex-GF told me that one of Shimo la teva was good when she was pregnant. (she was not inmate in the prison hehehe). Looked at the website of National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) and they have increased the insurance premium from aroung 3500 KSH to 6000 KSH per annum for voluntararily affiliation.

What's the damage? $220 at Better2 Know did seem rather steep so hopefully it's a bit less! Do you know if I need to make an appointment or can just rock up in the morning with my girl?

Here is my latest random thoughts from the last few days.

Streets are exploding with girls daytime. The walk to their jobs, shopping driving schools etc. All you need to do is to get the ability in "Real-Time" to perform an assessment if yes you should stop her in a fraction of a second while she move fast toward you. Matatus is the same Gentle touches at the one seat next to you. Sure in any other country you will find yourself in prison but here you get a smile in response.

Hitting 18-21 is harder to me this year as I become a bit older. So I am adjusting and getting town to reality and hitting super sexy 25-to 30. Some with unbelievable bodies and legs that can be stretched to infinity. They don't ask money at this age range, as opposed to the young ones. Mombasa town has also some colored flowers but its required more precise expertise. Clubs? I know nothing about them but it will booming any time soon as Christmas coming.

Apartment price are the same and even getting cheaper 10 K to 20 K striped from furniture, or 2 k per day full equipped. Electricity reach 24 bob per unit now. (KW / H).

Chatting watsapp is very good way to avoid problems as you keep the record of conversation. If she start to accuse you or demand you can show her the record. Normally things are OK but its a powerful tool that can show your history of interaction just in case.

Power cut probably only in Mtwapa still up to 10 hours normally in Sunday. You want to leave and never come back until a super model with rounded ass knock on your door.

What power cut?

This is a small medical service center from the local hospital and they offer a lot of service. We just wanted to check if any diseases can be found in the blood, including HIV, more was not required from our side. But surely you can checkup more if you want.

220 $ ?? I can spend a week in hospital for that money.

Neddy. That's a nonsense, of course, you will not get a serious test if you pay for the work of a doctor and a lab just as much as a beer at the counter. Maybe Neddy has met a beach boy who dressed up with a white tunic.

But how ever it doesn't cost much money, for the blood test, including the HIV report, I paid 1760 KES (about $ 17) each person, for more checkup it will be a little more!

You do not need an appointment, just go there, but go till noon. Because they bring the blood into the city to the laboratory and then you will get the result the same evening up from 6 pm, but at 8 pm they close.

Good Luck!

How accurate it is? I don't know. A kit in pharmacy sold for 100 bob for a single test.

I think we need to Google this method to check the level of accuracy.

But it is not confirmatory test.

It's just a screening test.

Met this delicious, next door type girl off tagged. She was a semi-pro or something, did not discuss any money, she told me to pay whatever I want. Ended up paying 3 k. She stayed the whole night.

Had picked her up quite late, but service was excellent. She was so wet, all positions, BBJCIM also included. No anal.

She's quite sweet.

Am seeing another chica from tagged tomorrow. Hope she's as good. Will take pics / videos if possible.

Using Uber I always felt secure as you know the driver ain't going to have any connection with some of the dubious chaps who tend to hang around there at night. Any suggestions much appreciated. My hotel is nowadays always Big Tree. You are in Big Tree, and Cheers is short walk away, for mongering purposes that is best one. Room prize is cheap.

Negative things about Big Tree: No mosquito net. It is impossible to put because of the architecture of the rooms. No air condition, just a ventilator in the roof. And water in shower is bit salty, and no hot water in most of the room.

It is quite public place though, will your Cowrie Shells lady want to come there? Nowadays they have put some fence in the back, so most of the rooms you need to go through the yard, in daytime everybody will see you.

Other hotelsL Indiana, it was quite girl friendly and cheap. There is big different in rooms for Apartment rooms and hotel rooms, they are in different buildings.

Kahama was my favourite hotel long time ago. Bad thing there is noise from the hotel bar, especially karaoke nights were terrible. No sleep before 2. No problem if you are in some bar all the time by yourself. But otherwise it was good hotel, air conditioning, mosquito net etc. Some walk to the beach, but in peaceful road.

There seems to be a cholera outbreak in Mombasa.

Even a hotel is mentioned, but not in the newspaper yet.

But from unconfirmed sources I gather it's a hotel mentioned regularly on this forum.

Fifteen members of the Migori County Assembly and some county staff were rushed to various private hospitals in Mombasa County on Sunday after a cholera scare.

They were suffering from diarrhoea and vomiting.

Other MCAs also rushed to hospital for vaccination against cholera due to an outbreak that has so far killed four people in Mombasa.

Two isolated over cholera symptoms.

Joseph Hoyo, an MCA from Makerero Ward in Kuria West, said they ate meat, chicken, fish, rice and chapati at a hotel on Saturday night and afterwards they began feeling unwell.

Arrived on December 24 take uber for 1050 shilings from moi airport to cowrie shell apartments at shanzu. The apartments its quiet nice with swimming pool and right on the beach apartment its very girls friendly with good security. I book studio apartment throughout airbnb 3 month in advance so it cost me just 4000 shillings per night. Room was on second floor so it was easy walking. (both lifts at cowrie are broken and seems nobody care to fix them already long time) everybody who comes Mombasa or Nairobi I suggest to use taxi fee is even cheaper than uber and most of times is even cheaper than tuk tuk. Like example trip cost: nakumatt mall nyali-Casaurina 250- 300 . Cowrie shell-nakumatt nyali mall 200-250 shillings. Cowrie shell apartments -moi airport 900 shillings. Most girls I take it was from sheba disco cost 2000-3000 shillings all night. Also I get some girls from Casaurina 2000-2500 all night. Couple from cheers bar and big tree for 1000-1500 shillings short time. Visited danka club at mtwapa is nice new club was completely full but was not mzungu at all club sheba don't have any entry fees anymore always free entry. Anuba disco weekend entry fee 1000 but you get drinks for that price I didint like that place because most of the times is full and can't find seat to sit or need come early to get a seat there. Moonshine bar at reef hotel on weekends have some nice girls there. Hypnotica and tapas discos like always busy and packed. Lounge bar was busy on weekends but most other time was quied. Seems they start to ban shisha at some places at Kenya. I smoke shisha at big tree 3 days ago, but I comeback last evening and ask for shisha they told me its banned and they not selling anymore, anyway at clubs I still get it last night. Now is high season but. Seems it not so many tourist. Its time to fly to Nairobi stay one night and back to Europe.

Hi,

I was supporting a friend to set up her cam business on Chaturbate. Our collaboration failed and I want to sell the equipment to recover some of the investment.

Notebook with I7 processor, 2 x C920 professional webcams, Lovense Lush remote control vibrator and some assessors.

All is tested to work well from Mombasa on different sites, together with software. Can also provide the knowledge on how to set it up successfully, (what needs experience and the right equipment).

Also nice if you simply want to celebrate private internet sex with your girlfriend.

We can arrange meeting in Mtwapa, Mombasa or South coast.

Hey guys,

I hope someone of you can help me with a rather logistical question about bringing girls back to Cowrie Shell on daytime.

I plan to stay there for the first time on my next trip and I RTFF about it. I know the place from outside but have never been inside. At night I will stay there with my girlfriend but on daytime I intend to date some girls there. The problem is that one of my friends is a bit older than me and her ass is just gigantic, so the famous walk of shame with her is real and I know it can't be fully avoided but I would be interested how long it is?

On one of the previous posts about Cowrie I read that it is not a must to check in guests at the reception, which is perfectly fine for my purposes. But is it always necessary to pass the reception or is there a way around it. E. g. From the parking lot directly to the apartments? I want to avoid that too many people see me with my dates to avoid any trouble with my GF.

I know big tree or a hotel in mtwapa would be more suitable, but I can't stay there for various reasons. However, if anyone knows a better place for our hobby on Bamburi beach or city mall area, then I would really appreciate any input!

Would be great, if someone could help me out on this!

Would be great, if someone could help me out on this! There are ways to do this, namely if they meet you in the Bar area (Suli Suli) and they walk in from the beach and get past security at the beach gate you could sit and have a drink with them at the bar. Now, as you walk from the bar to the toilets, you will find the staircase to the apartments which with a bit of climbing and walking can also take you along to the Studio apartments at the other end of the building. Whether you stay in block "A" or "B" or studios it can be done. Nobody will challenge you there as long as you're a resident. I understand if your long term one stays at night she'll probably ask those at reception if you've been seeing any visitors, and that could make things difficult for you. Just try to be discreet about it. If your visitors must come in the main gate then they just tell reception they're coming in for refreshments at Suli Suli and make sure you're at the bar to meet her. Ask me anything about the place I've stayed there for years now. Good luck and good hunting there's loads to be had in Msa.

I have a rough idea now about the setting and how things will be. Sounds like a challenge, but not impossible. My scare is really that my regular gets a tip off from one of the staff about my daytime activities, but I guess that's the risk I have to take for having fun!

Are you maybe around at the end of March? I owe you a beer at Suli Suli.

I think it best that once you are in Cowrie you survey what's best for you. I don't know if you're staying in an apartment or a studio. The studio's are on either side of you as you enter the main gate above the car parking, the apartments are through reception with "A" Block on the left and "B" on the right. If you're in the apartments walk along the passageway towards the sea and you'll find the stairs down to Suli. I tend not to go in season to Cowrie as it can get busy but with the prices they charge it may not be full at Easter when you're there but there could be some nice prime pussy talent roaming around during school holidays. I was planning on going in April but it depends on the work situation. Just be friendly with the receptionists and get on their good side and they'll be ok with you, they also make out as though they're untouchable but they are available so another avenue opens. The cleaning staff tend to come round at more or less the same time each day so take note of that to prevent interruptions whilst on the job. I haven't seen any cleaners who are worth shagging as the management seem to employ the not so nice ones, probably as they know they'll be fucked if they're attractive. If you meet up with a cleaning supervisor called Bridgit stay well away, she's a leech and like someone said, as your dick grows your wallet shrinks, plus her pussy stinks. If you go out at night make sure the taxi comes into the premises and collects you as that dirt road from the main road at the go-carts is dangerous and certainly don't walk down there in darkness it's full of junkies who'll fuck you over for everything you have on you. Good luck and I hope your adventures are fruitful and juicy.

Let me tell you something.

I went to a restaurant called Yul's in bamburi with a nice girl, then 4 days later I went there with a different girl.

When my girl went to the bathroom, the waitress told her that I was here 4 days ago with a another girl.

Same thing happened to me with a 1 night chica in Diani club.

Conclusion, in Kenya girls have no problem to denounce. They do it to break the relation by jealousy.

If you want to keep you ST confidential, take your chica to another place.

Cheers!

Cheers!I have had that happen to me before in Mtwapa. But you know what?! It didn't matter. I still got busy with the lady I was with whom the waitress told I had been in there previously with other chicas. I told my chica that I know quite a few people in Mombasa and many of them happen to be of the female persuasion. I asked her if she had male friends. She said of course she does. I then said, "Isn't it normal for people to meet and hang out with different people from time to time? She said yes it is. Then she laughed and said the waitress is just jealous and should mind her business. We went back to my apartment and had a great session. I mean sessions. I still have her as my go to girlfriend in Mombasa, and if I was not married, I would even marry her (might need to think about converting to Islam and moving away from Trump land). No but seriously, a smooth operator can easily overcome such cockblockers. Hell, I do the same thing in Ghana where I take my chicas to same eating establishment and hotel. Waitress and receptionist tells second or third ladies that they aren't the only one I have brought there. I explain that I am a business man and meet other people. We eat. We shower. We fuck. It doesn't matter.

I also have a rotation of a number of ladies in different countries. They all know they are not the only one I am fucking. It does not matter. That is what I love about African women. Although they would like to be the only one (courtesy of that damn one man one woman philosophy espoused by religious missionaries), they still accept their position in the round robin rotation. I just make sure to leave my best with toys to satisfy those sexual urges when I am away so they won't go out and play with skinny jeans pricks. And even if they do, I don't care. What is good for me is good for them. I am just careful to make sure they get tested before we tango, and I do the same.

They also give quite slow, shitty service and will even lie to your face whether it be restaurant or front desk. It's the only place they any control, and OMG do they abuse you! I have retired from the game and now have a Kenyan beauty that experiences foul looks and detestable comments for being with an American, and I'm Black, so color don't matter. She pointed out how men are the one that will take care of you and she would not bring a woman into the workplace with their foul attitudes and drama. She is spot on correct, and I have come to expect the worse service from an ignorant Kenyan woman straight from the village, and am surprised when I do get more than mediocre. Businesses along the Uganda / Kenya border have started to replace the Kenyans with more subservient Ugandans.

Who knows ? Maybe property speculation. If I were the proprietors I'd take the county government to court. Lots of girls business punters lost their home. Had 12 nights at sai rock apartments, all went well, rooms a little tired these days but it is good location and secure.

There were more girls about this time than there has been the last few years, a lot of new faces, other than that there is not much to say. The usual haunts of cheers, casarj has, lounge, sheba.

I took 3 or 4 girls over my time spent in Mombasa and they got between 1 k and 2 k for an hour or two.

I liked the hotel, and it was cheapest girl friendly hotel at that time, and hotel staff was friendly.

This noise from bar is really annoying, worst days or nights were karaoke nights, somebody singing badly. It felt like you were inside that bar.

Downstair rooms which are more expensive are little better, there is better insulation.

At that time, this noise was not so much problem for me since I went every night to Casourina, at that time it was still great place.

Compared to Big Tree Kahama has some advantages, especially air conditions, not only ventilator in rood like Big Tree. And mosquito net over the bed. And hot water. These things are missing from Big Tree. But Big Tree is directly in the beach. And girls come there and afternoons, and Cheers is near. So I just keep on going to Big Tree already long time.

Maybe there are cheaper hotels now in the beach than Kahama? I haven't check for long time.

TTM.Check with Swiss or Lufthansa.

They both fly from California to their home basis and from there a decent connection will put you on their non stop flights to Nairobi.

United, being alliance partner of both, have sell rights with them too for the first leg to Europe.

TTM.KLM-Delta from LAX to Nairobi, one stop in Amsterdam, for less then 1000 $ return, depending on your flight date. Flight takes about 25 to 30 hours including the stop.

Nairobi is a good starting point for a few days. Plan 2 weeks and move on to Mombasa North by flight or with the new fast speed train for a week. If you have more time--the better.

KLM-Delta from LAX to Nairobi, one stop in Amsterdam, for less then 1000 $ return, depending on your flight date. Flight takes about 25 to 30 hours including the stop..Yeah I did that route once and it sucked compared to Emirates. I once did LAX to somewhere (can't recall, maybe Amsterdam as you say) from there to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to NBO. The motherfuckers routed me thru Canada on the way back, which sucked at immigration to the USA. KLM movies sucked, food sucked, and at 6 foot, 210 lbs my ass still had to squeeze into the seat. Can't recall the price, but not worth any of the misery. Emirates and I are in love, and I have had numbers given to me by two flight attendants. One Kenyan, the other Ugandan. A third supremely hot Kenyan working first class asked for my number when I got upgraded, but I could tell she did not believe I'm a Kenya frequent visitor, and I knew when she asked for my info I would never hear from her.

Great movie selection, wide screens, wide seats, good food. The only drawback is you will need an overnight stay if you want to continue on with Emirates, as they arrive DXB too late for the last flight to Nai. You could probably catch another airline onward. Emirates flies from Dulles to DXB (12 hours) with a continuation to Nai after four hour layover in DXB, but you have to find a way to get to Dulles from LAX. All flights using super sweet A380! Like sitting in your living room during a bingewatch night. The only thing that can ruin the flight is a baby wailing the whole time.

It always depends. There is British pensioners surviving on 400 a month as well as the other end. The well to do expat lives in Nyali. Shanzu is sort in between. Mtwapa I rented a very decent 2 BR unfurnished for 180. If you cook at home than it works out around 150 a month. Githeri on the street is about 80 cents. If you have one GF which you shag and is low cost 100 to 150 a month is more than sufficient. The rest you can spend on some beers. It is advisable to have a reserve of 5000 stashed for emergency medical or flights. Of course no own car included. I spent on furniture about 500. You can buy everything used at the rehani. Only mattress new around 100. So everybody on its own. That's what I like about Africa. You can survive on 100 $ a month or you can waste 5000 $ a month. Up to you. Chicas I pay no more than 1000 ksh. I have been robbed only once. The Chica took the suitcase while I was out on breakfast. I lost about 2000 in hardware and cash half which was covered by insurance. Since than I improved on security measures. Since I live in Gambia I lost only one smartphone.

That's my 2 cents.

Neddy.I hate bumping old posts but why did you get robbed? Where you overly complacent or was the girl a thief? I know we all look rich to them and if you straight up leave money in front of them they may take it, but in all my years of mongering (mainly in america) the most I can remember is a chick giving me a terrible quick BJ and that was a stone cold SW. I've been to Massage Parlors in the UK where I got freebies (and that's when I knew I was a monger because I could get it for free from one girl and I still paid another because variety) but I never been straight up robbed maybe they think I might attack them but I must say even in america I pay after the date half the time. I am considering moving to Mombassa but what gives me pause is I specifically don't want to live somewhere with a highly developed red light district or super savvy working girls. You've been around a minute and you've copped to barebacking and I get that. I'm old and my dick won't tolerate fucking the same chick night after night using a condom and without western style blow jobs. How do you deal with normal western style sucker vibes from years of living in the feminized west and avoid getting robbed or scammed? Or is it all in the game?

Mombasa does not have a developed red light district as you put it, it just has a woman force of which 90% is available.

If your savvy and mostly sober you reduce all chances of being scammed and robbed just like most other places outside the west and yes it is all a game. As long as you can put up with the poor standards then it is cheap for food, drink, rent and women. The sun shines, the beach is on hand, what's not to like? I would move back in a flash if I could.

I have never had anything stolen from any of them, maybe I'm lucky but once again as you said if you're mainly sober and wide awake you'll know the liars easily and there are many. The big attraction for me is the climate, the sea, and we all have an eye for nice pussy. For me Msa is the better choice than Nai which is far too busy but also has nice pussy, I just can't stand looking out at 9 pm at night at traffic nose to tail on their way home from work. Geez that pisses me off. Another annoying thing for I think most of us is the African time scales these women have. When they say I'll be there in an hour, they mean three hours, and if they say they're going to the salon and be back in two hours, you may as well shower, change, go find some other piece of pussy, take her to dinner, fuck her and set her on her way before your regular gets back. Msa for me is a mongers paradise and as you said 90% are definitely available.

I met a non pro who stayed with me 3 days at cowrie shell.

My last night, we went to party (sheba, Anuba, casaurina) and I got very drunk.

All I remember was she was looking after me all the night.

In the morning she handed me my 2 phones (Iphone +Samsung) 1500 USD value that I completely forgot where they were.

In fact, she did carry them when she saw me drunk for security.

As a conclusion, yes you have to be always careful but there are some nice and honest ladies.

I am sure my instinct allowed me to get drunk because I felt safe with her.

Good hunting.

If you want to meet a lady at 3 pm then tell her 2 pm, then just wait until about 3. 30 pm when she calls and says "I'm here now, I don't see you". You now leave to go and meet her, she will wait for you until you arrive.

Good hunting. This was a non pro you say but that's the exception rather than the rule and remember that these smartphones of today can now be tracked. She could have been trying to invest into you by showing her honesty because you have to somehow repay her by sticking to her.

However lets not turn a blind eye to the good deed done by this girl. You now really have to stick to her.

So she could disappear with my phones, I had no time to investigate or go to police unless I miss my flights / connections.

I tipped her 100 euros for the 3 days with me, no single comment or word except (thank you).

However, I have always been very careful and cautious with chicas, this was my only exception.

Hey all,

I'm considering spending Christmas and new year abroad this year. How is Mombasa that time of year? Do all the girls go home to their families on Christmas or are there still plenty of action around? I'm interested in both pros / semi and non-pros.

I'm also considering Ghana, or any other African nation. Is any of them better or worse / lively or dead around Christmas / new year?

I just checked on taxify app tuk tuk cost from naivas shopping mall at nyali to casaurina disco at mtwapa is just between 80-110 shillings is so cheap unbeliavable! Last time if I take normal tuk tuk from street for the same journey they will ask you 400-500 shillings but you can bargain them to 250-300 shillings (its the lowest I get few times). Taxify is great before I always use them for book taxis, because they cheaper than uber and have polite drivers with clean cars now they have cars and tuk tuks already at mombasa and cars and boba bodas at nairobi. Its good when not need to deal anymore with shitty taxi and tuk tuk mafia at mombasa anymore!! Will add screenshoot for trip cost from naivas to casaurina (mtwapa).

Actually Uber is offering a 25 % reduction on all normal rates these last weeks.

When I arrived at MSA airport on a Monday morning I was already surprised to get a rate of about 1000 to go to Mtwapa. Even more surprised that it showed a total of 610 ksh upon arrival in Mtwapa. The driver thought it was a mistake and so did I. But it wasn't.

The big consideration with uber is to avoid airport runs at peak times. 7 am to 9 am or 3 pm 6 pm.

Thanks, GrandPop.If you google "big tree mombasa" you will find this tel. Nr: 0721437448. . I think you can make your booking by calling them.

However, you better hurry, as Big Tree is rapidly becoming "Small Tree" now.

Every week more & more of the terraces are devoured by the strong ocean waves.

Like half of the "island terrace" has also collapsed now.

Thank you in advance.Absolutely. I too am seeking an update on what was my favourite nightclub pickup spot some ten years back, well worth the effort if you in Bamburi. Open air, thatched roof place, really nice. The club is located in Mombasa town. There are two levels, most girls are upstairs, I believe there is a strip club on the ground floor which got going some years back. It seems most mongers do not venture as there is no mention of Casablanca for some time. Also there is Florida club, I forget its location.

I don't know if true or still existing.

I also read there was a murder 1 year back.

Casablanca I was there about a year back. Still gets plenty women in, not sure about the strip club as the times I've been I went upstairs.

Florida is also in town in likoni area, not as popular as it wasbin years gone by, few years since I went there.

Guess it will be best to ask the locals the best nights to visit these places.

Hello fellow mongers.

I'm planning a trip to Mombasa and need some help. It will be my first time in Africa after few trips to Asia, so it will be a lot different. I already bought the tickets. The party starts in the beginning of October and will last 2 weeks. I read a lot of pages here but got a little confused, so I have few questions:

1. Can we summarize that the price for the girls are in the range of 2000-3000 shillings all night and 1000-1500 shillings short time? I know in Kenya is cheap but this. It sounds too good, almost unreal. So if these prices are not correct, please tell me what I can expect. I want to be up to date when the inevitable bargain begins.

2. Also do you have any info about the price that the random freelancers wants? Is there any difference between bar / brothel girl and a freelancer?

3. Did you try to find freelancers from Tinder / Badoo and if yes, at what price? My experience in Asia is that if the bar girls wants lets say 2000 shillings short time, the tinder girl will want between 1200 and 2000. But is that the case in Mombasa?

4. We all know that YMMV, so maybe the right question is where you can find the biggest choice of girls. Bars, beach, clubs, internet, something like massage parlors / brothels?

Please help the Kenyan newbie.

Daytime or evening you can look for a girls at nakumatt mall, mtwapa, safari inn bar, cheers bar, big tree and at beach. , anywhere where you see girl you like just talk with her and ask number. Also can use dating sites like badoo, tinder, tagged, afrointroductions and others.

Onojdi,

I split my time between UK and Kenya so here is my pennies worth for you.

The first thing you must realise is Mombasa is nothing like Pattaya, I have met a lot of Pattaya guys giving Mombasa a try and they get very disappointed.

Hotel standards are lower in Mombasa and there are not a lot of clubs / bars. There are not a lot of women, that said there is still way way plenty enough to fill your boots. Pokeris mentions the clubs below and you will find women there and indeed everywhere. In Kenya if you spot any woman you like then you say Hello, and make your move, they rarely will ignore you, most are up for earning a few extra shillings.

I always pay 2 k or if they stay longer and are very good then 3 k, as you mention it is peanuts, the pussy is cheaper than a good meal.

Badoo works well in Kenya.

Thanks for the info Mombie & Pokeris.

Looking at the Kenyan girls, I really really doubt that I will leave Mombasa disappointed :)) But I have few logistic hesitations and I will appreciate your advice.

First is where to book an apartment. At Mtwapa or Nyali. Mtwapa seems full with action but I watched few youtube videos and I find it a little too. Rural. Maybe the videos made a wrong impression? I admit I watched only 2 amateurish videos, nothing reliable. But they say the action is at Mtwapa. Is Nyali too calm? I prefer Nyali as it is closer to Mombasa and looks a more safe option. Or maybe another location will be better for a "base' from where I can explore the area? What do you think? At that region can you recommend a good apartment or even a hotel that value guest privacy?

The other question is about Mombasa and the fact that it is not the safest place for a lone traveler (clearly not a local) and I am not sure is it a good idea to walk around midnight. But as you said, the party at the bars starts after 11 PM. Any advices?

Also how you will describe the atmosphere at the local bars. Danka lounge, casaurina, heba, the lounge, anuba, tapas, hypnotica, moonshine beach bar. The ones that Pokeris wrote about. Where the girls are more "pro" oriented. I mean where they expect more direct approach like few jokes and then how much do you want to join me at the hotel. Or even to skip the jokes, directly to the money question And where are more "romantically" oriented, where the game has to be played and then of course some money for the taxi back home.

For some reason Mtwapa seems to be a rather safe enclave in Kenya.

You can walk, even as a muzungu, almost anywhere in the day or the night. Especially the area around Casaurina and the opposite bars is always crowded. However when returning home I usually take a boda-boda (motortaxi) for 50 or 100 shilling.

From Casaurina in the weekend it seems almost impossible NOT to find a girl of your choice.

Nyali is basically a high cost residential area with large buildings behind walls and you are far away from the action, it does not have a real centre, except maybe the Naivas Mall, that has some clubs, where most of the patrons are rather well to do young Kenyans, who come there for drinking and socializing. Not specifically looking to hook a muzungu. However there are some street hookers to be found around there.

Mtwapa is a dusty little place, vibrant, busy with people. Mtwapa around the Casaurina area is probably security wise just as good as Nyali as there are a lot of people around 24/7 where as Nyali has a lot of quiet little corners at night.

The atmosphere in bars is always good, Kenyans like a beer, a dance and a chat. Girls are more pro orientated in Mtwapa. Game is needed at the more expensive bars around the Naivas complex. As a single traveller you will be fine, enjoy the locals but never trust them.

Thanks for the info guys, it is much appreciated. It seems that I will stay in Mtwapa and maybe the last 3 days in a place somewhere at the beach in Diani. As far as I understand Diani is too quite for our adventurous taste but I guess the last 3 days I will have enough contact to secure a pleasant and not so quite company at the beach. We'll see.

Now it's time to choose a place to stay I checked Jambo Travellers Hotel at booking.com but for me they want too much for what they offer. Around 50 euro per night and for that I will book a very nice apartment on airbnb. Prestige Holiday Resort seems better, the price is twice lower, have great score and generally I like it more, but I'm wondering few things:

- the comments at booking.com says that it's some kind of a Muslim family orientated hotel and maybe I will feel out of place with a different girl every day).

- some says the location is not perfect, other says it close to the main area and have great location. What is your opinion?

- my experience at Asia is that you have to book for 2 people if you do not want to pay a joiner fee. What is the situation in Kenya. Can I book for only one person (me) or it is better to pay for two to avoid any further complications at the receptions while I'm with a girl. I'm pretty active at that holidays so If I have to pay additional fees for 10+ girls, it is too much additional expenses.

What about the apartments in Mtwapa? Do you have any experience? I prefer the privacy of the apartment and right now I'm looking at airbnb but it is very strange. Most of the apartments have no reviews, some of the are with a calendar updated months ago. It is really strange, the properties that looks reliable are literally no more than 10. Any recommendations?

Best call them on phone or email and ask about rooms, but it I was you I don't bother to book hotel in advance most of the times they have rooms. Prestige apartaments nobody cares if you bring girls I was staying myself before, but its little bit more futher from all action. Jambo travellers is much better option. Better always book for 2 person when booking hotels. Also you can download jumia travel app for hotel booking they have better and cheaper deals for african countries than agoda or booking.com most of the times. I will add photo of room prices at jambo travellers hotel (maybe its change little bit but not to much I think).

http://www.sophiabaharini.com/

It is not in the beach, but it is near Baharini shopping center, which is kind of center of the evening activities. And main shopping center since Nakumat is gone.

Tandori and SharkAttack are places to go at night, in the weekend there these two places have much more people.

Finally I've reason to visit Africa for work, and while I'm in the area I'm going to take a little trip to the Kenyan coast for a week or so in the next month.

I've spent the last few days reading the past 100 pages of the MBA, general, and photos threads, and I feel like I'm up to speed on cost, where to find ladies, how to pick them up, and where to stay. I hear conflicting things about the off-season. Some say it's a monger's paradise, as you have tons of girls competing for a limited supply of customers, while others say that most of the girls are seasonal themselves and it feels deserted during the low season. Where does the truth lie?

I'm also trying to decide where to go (down to Diani or up closer to Mombasa / Mtwapa, or even up to Malindi). I hear Diani is quiet even in the high season. Will anybody be around during the low times?

As always, thanks for any info and happy hunting.

As always, thanks for any info and happy hunting.I have been going back and forwards to Kenya for over 15 years and there is not really a low and high season in Mombasa. Girls will be around all the time, sometimes more than other times but there is no pattern I find. Diani is very quiet though the last few years, only Fri. And sat night is worth it. Your much better off in Bamburi beach area and Mtwapa.

If you go diani or malindi its will be more quiet and most clubs open just on weekends. I suggest stay you somewhere at mombasa better, like mtwapa / shanzu / nyali. If you bored at mombasa take trip to malindi or diani and have a look how is everything here. Its not so far anyway.

As always, thanks for any info and happy hunting. My personal opinion: Take hotel from Bamburi beach, and visit from there Mtwapa town and other places.

Diani is beautiful place, but during week quiet, only on weekend there is some action. A day and night trip there is enough. I personally did not like Malindi, I never spend night there.

If you are first time in Africa or third world countries, Mtwapa may be is too much to you, it is not so nice place. And Bamburi beach: there is beach.

I paid around 650 ks last time from Bamburi to Moi airport.

The big consideration with uber is to avoid airport runs at peak times. 7 am to 9 am or 3 pm 6 pm.Wow I have paid almost double 5 months ago.

This guy posted several videos showing Hotels and other things about Mtwapa, Mombasa and Diani & Ukunda.

These can give you an impression about the places.

As always, thanks for any info and happy hunting.Mtwapa has the best opportunities for nightlife, but Shanzu and Bamburi is not far away.

The best pick up place is casuarina in Mtwapa.

Shanzu has a lot of massages, and Bamburi the cheers and big tree restaurants for pick up.

Low season means low action, but no problem.

You can use badoo and tinder also for pick.

So I'm a long term lurker here and really appreciate the trip details on this site.

I'm going to be in Mtwapa and Bamburi from October 28. Its my first time to Africa but I love those African girls. I've traveled allot to Thailand and Philippines and am not unused to mongering. But I will be careful. I've booked the first 4 days in a airbnb apartment in Bamburi beach and then will explore for other options. I will try and run an updated trip report as I go along as I feel the need to add to the forum. Updates as I go.

Seems like a number of first timers coming. Cool.

Been planning to come for years, but got sick. Finally better and getting ready for the trip (tickets booked).

Splitting my time between Nairobi and Mombassa (5 nights in each). Although it looks like the mongering in Mombassa is more laid back.

This is the only city on my trip (11 countries) that I can't pin down where to stay.

1. Mombassa (city).

Close to the clubs (Florida, Casablanca) maybe some knocking shops or massage places, but pretty gritty? Like this option as I'll probs be at nicer beaches (Seychelles, Reunion, Mauritius, Comos) and everything is close by. But, just how bad is it? Could take a taxi to Bamburi in daytime to hang out on beach, I guess.

2. Nyali.

A a ton of traffic, residential buildings and not as many clubs? Going out would mean either heading south to city or north to Bamburi. Maybe doesn't sound like it's for me.

3. Bamburi.

Places to sit and chill and look for girls (Pirates, Sheba, Bob) - but would mean going into town each night.

Essentially, have no idea where more of the girls are. I like small knocking shops better than late night clubs, and prefer ST to LT. But, I can't say I have much game (or experience) picking girls up on the beach. However, beach is always nicer to stay at. My (fantasy) would be picking up a ST in day either on beach (easy walk to hotel) or in a downmarket ST place, then finding a LT at night from a club.

Secondly. Doesn't seem to be a lot of hotel options. Maybe I'm a big baby (GF says so.) but hotel seems to offer more security, and assuming still girl friendly. As well as some amenities.

Only ones I see that look good are:

- PK Ocean View.

- Sun Africa Beach Resort.

(both GF?

Found some decent looking places on Airbnb but most of the ones I like ($100 - $200 night) don't have any reviews at all. Are they scams then? Are they secure? You have to pre-pay, who do you call if there's a prob. Etc.

Real or not?

Not being a snob, but. I'm older, and this is vacation. Need good Wifi, A/C, and some level of comfort. Many of the rentals look like they were furnished from the 70's.

For a first timer, any suggestions?

Stay Bamburi beach side, lot more comfy, Sai rock apartments or maybe Kahama hotel. Get girls from Big tree, Cheers, Casarinhas, City Mall bars, Naivas bars. Any girl you see just say Hello, they will 90% respond. Floridas in town is dead except the odd night, Casablancas has hard core girls but might be worth a visit the odd night. I've never heard of the 2 places you mention.

For a first timer, any suggestions? It's quite simple: to pick up girls in the daytime: go to Big Tree and / or Cheers (they are neighbours) . I don't know if it's still like that, but the girls from Big Tree used to know places nearby where you can go to a holiday house nearby, whereby the owner is not around and the caretaker will let you use the accommodation for an hour or so for a reasonable price.

In the evening go to Casaurina or the clubs opposite. There are also many SW around there as soon as it gets dark. But these are usually not very attractive (in fact it's hard to see in the dark.).

Quite strange to me, I cannot see the post of ElephantBeer.

If I look him up with the search function, I get results, but as soon as I click on the "View post", I am just directed to the thread.

Same happens if I click on the "view original post" in the answers some people gave him.

On top the numbering on the posts does not indicate that a post is missing.

Never experienced that before.

Does sombdy have the same pattern?

Did his posts get deleted or is there a possibility that he blocked me although I would have no clue why he should have done smth like that.

For a first timer, any suggestions? You are writing about Bamburi. Notice that there is very big difference between Bamburi and Bamburi beach. Bamburi is big area of town, quite a ghetto, like Mwtapa town. As first timer, don't go there, although there are couple of nice bars. Bamburi beach which is also called North Beach is a place where you should go. I would say Big Tree, but there is no air con, and water in shower is cold and salty. I would suggest Indiana hotel, it was reasonable priced some years ago, and girl friendly at that time. And good walk by beach to Big Tree and from there to Cheers for afternoon activity.

Indiana hotel also have two different sections, apartment hotel and normal hotel. I don't know latest info of the place, and how that fire affected.

I would not go to Mombasa town itself, it is not so nice place, and I have personally never liked Casablanca. And how much activity there is in Florida now?

Nyali is a good choice, it is not so far from Bamburi beach.

Hello everyone,

Can you give me the prices that the girls want?

Whether for a quick fuck or for the whole night?

In any case, I'm not talking about ugly but beautiful girls.

How much money they want now, that is, now in September.

An acquaintance of mine said that everything has increased and that the girls want twice as much.

Please update me.

I want to know if it is still worth going to Mombasa and Malindi.

I ended up spending a week in Diani and then one night in Mombasa on the way out. I'm glad I did it this way. Diani is far more relaxing and there were plenty of girls available.

Stayed in a private house / villa for $40 per night. Well worth it for the privacy. Tipped the man at the compound gate a few hundred ksh periodically and he stayed quiet and helpful. Treat folks with respect and they'll reciprocate.

There wasn't much talent on the beaches (at least not that I liked). Forty thieves is overrun with old ladies and families. There were a few girls on the prowl during the day but it's not a great hunting spot. Food is good though (albeit a little pricey).

Tandoori is like shooting fish in a barrel. Paid 1 k or 1.5 k depending on girl quality. Party really starts at 23:00 or so and goes until 05:00. Everybody there is available. I mean everybody.

If you can't find someone you like in the clubs, you can also chat with the beach boys and they can help you find anything you're looking for. I did this and developed one trustworthy guy in particular who brought me girls from villages several km inland who aren't in the usual tourist game. Pay these guys well and they can find you some great girls out there.

Spent my last night in Mombasa and went to Casaurina just to see the place. Large selection of girls; most hardcore. Took a college girl back to Big Tree for $1.5 k.

Happy to share more detail via PM for anybody with specific questions.

Happy to share more detail via PM for anybody with specific questions.Week in Diani. I have done there weekend trips only, because some years ago, I went there during the week but it was very quiet. So maybe situation is now better? In Tandoori there are girls during the week now also? Every day? What about Shakatak? Although, they are so near each others, usually all the Tandoori girls at least visit Shakatak. Except in weekend maybe, because there is entrance in Shakatak.

I usually took same taxi driver from Diani to North Beach, he was always offering me also to organize girls from the village, I never used his services, but it was tempting. By the way it is very easy to take matatu also to travel between North Beach / Bamburi beach and Diani.

Diani is beautiful place, and very relaxing, kind of paradise. North Beach has more action, in my opinion. But it is not as nice as Diani.

I have advised often to go to some beach hotel in Bamburi beach, like Big Tree, if somebody is first timer in Mombasa area. And especially not to take accommodation in Mwtapa town.

But maybe HumanPerson is right, Diani is a good soft landing for those who have not been in Mombasa, or Africa, or even in any third world countries.

What was name of that private house / villa? I always take Sophia Baharini, you can find it in internet. It is near Baharini shopping center. But it is good to know alternative places.

I'd say Tandoori is about half as busy during the week as on the weekend.

I visited Shakatak a couple of times but it was too hot and loud for me. Really an unpleasant place, and like you said. Most of the girls start at Tandoori and migrate to Shakatak later into the night, so if you get to Tandoori early (and by early I mean 23:00) you can see almost the whole selection of available girls.

I want to know if it is still worth going to Mombasa and Malindi.Mombasa north coast, 1.500 - 2.000 KSH for overnight. That was the price a few month ago.

In any case, I'm not talking about ugly but beautiful girls.Good looking ones don't go for less than 3000 ksh.

Good looking ones don't go for less than 3000 ksh.You are right and wrong.

It is very situation dependent. If they like you they can go for less, if they have money already they will go for less or they can ask for more as a bonus to them if you agree, if they have no cash they will go for less.

Last night I got a freebie from a good looking 23 yr old I've known for a few years, was actually 2 sodas and 150 bob fare home.
