Digler, I agree with loafer. Having a master's degree or taking Chinese culture courses on China doesn't mean anything, particularly if you have limited experience. I have met people with Ivy League cedentials (with Chinese backgrounds) who have worked in all sorts of "high profile" industries that are in China but who aren't pulling down much. Just as anywhere in the world, there is no such thing as a quick buck via the corporate ladder.

I don't want to criticize but if the thinking that you are exemplifying here is how you think in general (i.e. good packaging+marketing = quick buck, versus actual abilities and focus) then you better get ready for a rough ride ahead. Having said that, China is a dynamic market where you see business trends and theories play out much more quickly than in other parts of the world and those insights could be extremly beneficial for you down the road. High pay packages (from my experience) are generally reserved for those who have established themselves abroad, and who are recruited to China via internal transfer or just by being head-hunted.

Viagra Talk!

Today I went into one of these small sex shops in Shenzhen. There are selling 100mg Viagra for RMB 100 a pill.

Is that a good deal or not? Did anyone try?

And do one need 100mg? Or can you half or quarter the pill to get it down to 25mg and still get some hard results?

I don't really need Viagra, just like to try for a bit extended hardness.

100 RMB per is about right. You'd pay about the same in HK and even Bangkok. The big question is: is it authentic?

DayNight

>The big question is: is it authentic?

I would cut a 100mg pill into 4 pcs. and would do an immidiate test. If id doesn't work I press for a refund.

Maybe I give it a try in the near future.

BTW, they had about 10 or so different brands of other diamond shaped blue pills. I ask the shop keeper if they are of any use and did not got a clear answer. Which I took for a 'no'.

But I presume that China should have some generic Viagra based on Sildenfil. Anyone knows any brand?

Guys:

Chinese drug industry is totally in confusion. Some small unclean factory in the rural areas make cheap fake pills, and sell them under the famous brand in the drug market for big money. I never trust the things in small sex store. Watch out, guys.

China seems more expensive compared to thailand and and the PI. how is china different from these to places? what's the best city for mongering in china?

OldAsiaHand
06-04-04, 12:23
cool,

Lived in TH for over 10 years, and have been in China for nearly the same, as well as, frequent visitor to PH. Interesting comparison. IMHO, if mongering is your primary ntention, TH is still the best in terms of value, quality, service, etc. I have noticed prices in the PH slipping up in recent years, paying almost PHP3,000 out of the bars in Entertainment Complex on my last visit. PH service has been generally pretty good for me. Even though I am in a bit of a rut lately, I still have to say that P4P service in China, although available everywhere, is just not as good as the other two places. Less girls offer BBBJ, or any BJ for that matter, and even if they do the technique is lacking. In my experience, over 50% of the P4P I've had in China is average or below, regardless of the price I paid. Prices range anywhere from 50RMB at a very, very local place, to 2,000RMB and up for the best KTV and escorts.

NB Above perspective is from a westerner. Asian guys' opinions may differ. I would be interested to hear from them.

As I said above, P4P is available everywhere, but Shenzhen is pretty good, Dongguan, Hainan, Chongqing. I also like the Mongolian action in Beijing.

Just my POV.

So what is the difference between a chinese and a mongolian gal?

Visually they look the same or?

DayNight -

What do you call a Chinese girl with tits and ass? MONGOLIAN!

Sorry, I could not resist responding with this old joke. I am a big fan of Mongolian women. I find them to be warmer and more passionate than the Chinese girls I have been with. It is difficult to compare Chinese women to Mongolian women simply because there are so many different Chinese ethnic groups. There are noticeable differences among Chinese girls girls from Urumqi, Beijing or Chengdu. That being said, Mongolians have many of the attributes shared by all Asian people. If I see a girl I can typically tell if she is Chinese or Mongolian without asking, but now that I think about it, I think it is more by their mannerism and dress rather than their physical appearance.

My recommendation - visit Beijing, and attend Midnight Mass at Maggie's, the un-official Mongolian Embassy. The only down side is that you may never want to go home! :)

DayNight,

Going price for Viagra seems to be about US$10 for 100mg (I've shopped prices in Latin America, South America and Asia and they are remarkably close). There also does not appear to be much of a discount for bulk purchases.

James Cook is right about the industry. If you are in ShenZhen, you might as well head over the boarder and pick some up in HK. The Regency Drug Store in Kowloon sells them and they are authentic (see HK board for discussion).

As for dosage, 50mg is enough. Some countries sell it in 50mg pills, but if not, just break one in half.

One word of caution - taking viagra while you are drunk can have a funny effect (in addition to being somewhat dangerous). For good or bad, the session can last at least a couple of hours, whether you want to or not.

DayNight:

I was referring to the "Outer" variety. Besides having tits and ass as Sammy-T says, they can have a few more western features than Han Chinese, but this is not always the case. They do not speak very good Mandarin, better English in most cases. Some are very tall. Service has always been great. They make a lot of effort to please.

Maggies is definitely the haven, but I have seen a few stunners at The Den upstairs earlier in the evening, as well.

I need to get up to Beijing again soon!

I agree with OldAsiaHand and Sammy T, Mongolians in general are fucking hot. Though I had met a few that seemed a bit stand-offish at first, I finally found one of interest at the disco at the Holiday Inn Lido in Beijing. She won a contest in which she chugged a glass of beer without using her hands. I was impressed and immediately latched on to her, figuring that type of skill would be useful for other endeavours. Wow!

On a later trip to BJ, I met another nice one at the HRC. As mentioned by the aforementioned gentlemen, Mongolians tend to be a bit taller, slightly more Western features, most likely better English than Mandarin (IIRC, the Mongolian language uses Cyrillic letters like Russian, but is entirely different). She was insatiable and completely exhausted me on our two occasions together.

I have nothing against Chinese (as the number of them I've had will bear out), but given the chance I'd most likely opt for a lively Mongoliana -- too bad they seem to be so rare outside of China and their native land. Perhaps we could import some to Dubai.

Viagra doesn't make people horny, it simply prepares them for action. If a woman takes Viagra, she may experience increased blood flow to her clitoris and vagina, which may heighten her pleasure.

Miclac
06-14-04, 02:01
Yes, well considering how frigid most Chinese women are they can use as much blood flow down there as they can get.

KTV in China:

Personally methink KTV is the worst option to find sex in china. Most of the ripp-off happen in the KTV.

When you walk into the KTV, you have to first rent a room which will cost 300-700 per hour, its a huge waste of money. Then your selected girls comes in, these girls will get starving and thirsty as soon as they sit on your legs, they will begin to order the most expensive drinks and snack on the menu. When you finish singging, you still have to pay another fee to take the girls out.

well, you maye think the girls in KTV is more glamourous than those in the barbershops. Its definitely not the case. Take Chongqing for example. There is a famous BBS out of Yangzijiang hotel, I can say about 90% KTV girls in CQ come from this famous street. Once you fucked a girl in BBS for just 150RMB, in probably a year, you have to fuck her again for 1500RMB when she work in a KTV. The girl is the same but price goes steep.

Well, everyone can have his own oppinion, thats just my insight.

Is it worth buying digital cameras in China?

For example, in my country, prices for following references are:

Canon Digital Ixus 500: 415 to 499 euros

Sony Cybershot dsc-t1: 437 to 499 euros

Any idea about prices for these articles in Beijing?

Thanks!

If like me you are not into the overnight deal because after a while you just expect the girl to fuck off, but find that a ST is too short and rushed, I have initiated a couple of times a 2 hours session. If you take a girl for "1 hour", it is generally understood as a quicky of 30 to 50 minutes. So, for 50 to 100 Y more, I negociate with the mamasan of the BBS to have the girl in my hotel room for two hours, no more, no less. If agreed, it is then very clear and uderstood by all parties that it won't be a quicky, and the girl is mentally prepared to have to entertain you, talk, fondle, kiss, slow, unhurried, repeated BBJ, anf F*** once or twice. The girl knows that there is no need o rush anything because anyway she is stuck in your room for 120 minutes. Of course, I use this option only if I know that the girl is really good at her job and I like her, because I have tested her before on a classic "1 hour" ST, or if I have the very strong feeling and conviction that she is going to be good and will bring me what I am after.
Try and tell me your experience.

Please help.

I am about to go to Shanghai for the very first time. I have read the posts and seen the pictures. All very exciting. I don't understand the terminology used in the post and don't know a thing about the various districts of the city. So I am totally confused. I have about 10 days there, so would appreciate a synopsis of the friendly hotels (guestwise) whilst at the same time reasonably priced, and a few of the places to visit for my first outing. I need to 'succed' from day one as I am not there for long. Please, please help, as I know you experts must get this type of request day-in and day-out. Thanking you all.

Again, information on

1. friendly and inexpensive hotel

2. places of interests where i have a good chance from day one.

Thanks and keep up the good work.

EDITOR'S SUGGESTION: There is a link labeled "Terms and Abbreviations" in the black menu bar at the top of this page. This will take you to the WSG Glossary where you will find a chart with most of the Terms & Abbreviations used in the Forum. If you don't see the black menu bar, then you're probably not accessing the Forum through it's front page at www.wsgforum.com. Thanks!

James Cook,

My sentiments exactly. The major difference is the packaging. I am convinced that if you take a BBS girl, clean her up, buy her some nice clothes and give her a bit of make-up, you would not be able to distiguish from a KTV girl. You can give her a shower, and the make-up washes off, and you are going to take off the clothes anyway. Why bother? The other big difference is the price.

Just my POV.

OAH

OldAsiaHand
06-27-04, 12:29
Erik,

I am not usually into LT unless it is total GFE and the price is reasonable. I agree with you. If the girl is in a hurry, asking her to stay longer is usually a waste of time. I also find that if she is good, she will stay longer anyway and give you what you want. If this is the case, I always give her an extra 50-100 tip. I have never tried to negotiate the 2 hour deal with the mamasan, but it is a good idea since the girl may have to report back within an hour if the extra time is not discussed in advance.

Westerners need visas to enter China.

AMERICANS CAN'T GET VISAS AT THE BORDER.

Wicked SH
07-05-04, 07:49
Hairy,

You can get a Visa to travel to China from your travel agent assuming you are comming as a tourist.

If you are a student most of the time you travel here as a tourist, then the school changes your visa after you get here. The same happens for work visas.

If you want a business visa you have to have several invitation letters from chinese companies. For instance if you are wanting to visit several factories to look at their products or display yours then you ask the factory to get you an official invitation letter. Sometimes one letter is enough sometimes you need several. You can then give these to your travel agent and they can work out the visa for you.

Jman90024

You can get a short term visa if you enter via Shanghai. You can apply for the VISA in the Pudong airport. I think Shanghai is the only city for that.

I was planning a return trip to Thailand around October/November, however I now fancy Shanghai and HKG.

In Thailand you can get girls to stay with you for Long Time ie: all night/one day two days etc.

Will girls in Shanghai do the same? if I found a nice one I would quite like a GFE rather than a quick Suck and Fuck.

I have been to Hong Kong before and I believe it is nearly all ST there.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Guys,

Unfortunately I got to tell you a sad news guys. Yesterday when I made my way home, suddently I saw some of the hot establishments along the street had been shut down, some covered cops even lurked arround the reception desk, I sense something really abnomnal. When got home, I made some calls to my friends to find out whats happening outside. They told me the Gong An department has lauched a united crackdown action all over the country, this action is directly towards to the BBS areas and the bath houses, sounds like that the hotel is more relative safe right now. Later I heard from the CCTV news and got it confirmed.

Something complimentary to the legal issue in China is that BJ and HJ do not violate civil laws, but FS does. Therefor the cops would not arrest you if you are in session of HJ and BJ service.

Good luck, guys.

Gus69 --

Thailand is a far better choice for finding 3-somes. Chinese girls are generally much more reserved. It's reasonably tough to find a Chinese girl to stay with you for multiple days; China's scene is not bar-based like Thailand (with the possible exception of Beijing).

LT is certainly available in HK from bars in Wanchai and TST. MongKok is not an LT option; 1-4-1 can be in some cases.

As he has lived in both Thailand and China for many years, OAH would be the expert to consult for a comparison.

OldAsiaHand

Lucky/Gus69,

I concur with Lucky. There is no comparison. If you are looking for the GFE, keep her for a few days, scenario, Thailand is the better choice. Thai girls are used to providing this service. Most local business in China, including P4P, is very ST in perspective. Of course, you can get LT in China if you are willing to pay for it, however, it is not the same GFE thing.

I lived in Thailand for 10+ years and always paid the girls every day for the service, even if I kept the same girl for a week or longer. It keeps it commercial. Otherwise, it could cost you a lot more when you finally decide to move on to the next one. What is the price of gold in Thailand now anyway?

Just my POV.

Gus69,

Yeah, in Shanghai you can get a LT GFE as long as you have the money to pay. The more money you can spend the longer the duration, some people call these girlfriends in Shanghai. Hahaha!

I know a guy who flew a blind date from Shanghai to Beijing. For the cost of the ticket, she was willing to meet this guy to check him out to see if he was rich boyfriend material, and suitable for
marrying.

He banged her the first night. He said she was just very average in bed, and they didn't really hit it off so she dumped him by telling him her grandmother was ill and had to go back to Shanghai. She was planning on staying 3 nights.

She did look pretty hot though, your typical tall, lanky model type.

How do you say "long time" in chinese?

Hairy.

I'm from the U.S. too and I have traveled to China about ten times in the past five years.

If you pm me, I'll e-mail you a Chinese Visa application from the Chinese consulate.

You should have no problem getting a visa to China as a tourist. You should select two entries. It will cost alittle more (maybe ten or twenty dollars) but you have the option of going to Macau or Hong Kong for some extracircular activities.

There are plus and minus points in traveling directly to China instead of through Hong Kong. I have always travel through H.K. because I have been told that most airlines that fly into China have limited flights. So if your flight is cancelled, you may not get another flight out for another week or month. I don't know how true this is since I have been scared into flying into H.K. all the time.

When I was last in GZ in February, I took a quickie bus ride to Macau for about less than $20. I got to enjoy some of the ST girls at the Lisboa casino. Well worth it to see about 30 girls walking back and forth in the basement lobby selling their wares.

Although Macau and Hong Kong are part of China, they will mark your Chinese visa as an entry and exit when you pass through these two cities.

About airfare, believe it or not, sometimes the Chinese travel agencies in your local Chinatown has the best deals. My last paid airfare was in the $600 range RT.

Wicked SH is right. You can get your visa processed through your travel agent. Of course, they will charge you about 30 to 50 for doing it. But it save you the travel and waiting at the nearby consulate. If you have the time, mail in your visa application but you have to send in your passport too.

As far as hotel are concern, booking them through a local travel agent in China is cheapest. But you're taking a chance of finding a place in the last minute.

If you go to GZ, I can tell you about the five stars hotels. The best for our purpose is probably the Garden Hotel. See all the forum postings about the SWs in this area.

There is a very useful book "Making Out In Chinese" by Ray Daniels for all of us who struggle their way through conversations with ladies. Hi all,
Hope I will not get into trouble with Mr. Jackson on this one but my ex-translator is looking for new employment. But keep you minds clean gentlemen as she is engaged! Anyone working for a JV, or large company who may have vacancies please message me.

She worked with me for almost 3 years in central china and she is excellent. Unfortunately I am now outside China and can't help her directly. Cheers

A pleasure to see your post mate. I did a search and it looks like you've been in Dubai lately. Have missed you on the China threads. Always enjoyed your posts even if we did not always see eye to eye. Stay in touch and post your POV in China once and awhile. And, great work with those pics of the talent in Dubai.

I have a question regarding escort services in China.

On the internet is a site called funinchina.com.

Are they just supplying translators and guides, etc. or is this real escort?

Anybody experiences with escortschina.com?

MAB, OAH and LUCKY,

Many thanks for your helpful tips, I am seriously thinking of coming to China the last two weeks of October.

It would be for mongering and some sight seeing, with something like HKG-Shanghai-Guilin-Dongguan(spell?)-HKG, about 3 days at each.

On the China forum there is very little about girls in Guilin, is it a No No for mongerers in Guilin? or maybe just not good enough to go out of your way for?

I was last in Shanghai in 1969, guess it's changed a bit since Chairman Mao, I went on a freighter, the river was so active but we were only allowed to go to 2 places in town, no chance of getting you end away (LOL)

Erik

Gus69,
For sight seeing as well as pussy in Guilin, take a boat to Yangshuo (or 1 or 2 hours coach by road), preferrably than Guilin. No need to stay in Guilin for these two activities.

Seaman,

When you want to say " long time" in Chinese for greeting or something like that, you simply say " hen jiu", anyway, it takes some practice to come up with the correct intonations in that there is the issue of different tones.

To Asia Hand, funinchina.com provides real assistant for help with your business and not sex. I had Taiwan friends who used their services before and was disappointed that there were no sex involved even through a lot of money was offered since the Taiwan guy thought the girl looked really hot and really wanted her but no deal. So if you are looking for sex then I would pass on this site however if you want someone who speaks English and will show you around town then it would be OK.

Seaman,

I guess what you meant was what we call a LT, and not just "a long time". In this case, the expressioon is "guo ye" or "bao ye" (= over night), opposed to "kuai can" (=fast food, pronounce : kway tsan) for ST.

"Hen jiu" would mean that you want to fuck the girls for several hours without a break, not the best way to attact chinese girls to your bed.

Gus,

Dongguan is great for mongering, particularly the Sauna and KTV scene....arguably the best in china for those two venues. (Note that it's also the most risky in terms of STDs, HIV/AIDS, etc in China). However, Dongguan City is not a place for a first time visitor to go wandering around by himself at night; it's a fairly dangerous place -- robbery, theft, muggings, kidnappings. Some towns within Dongguan are much better (ChangAn and Changping being 2 examples).

But don't kid yourself.....aside from factories and women (but not usually the women in the factories!), there is not a single damn thing worth seeing tourist-wise in Dongguan. You'll have great nights and boring days, waiting for the saunas to open up at noon or 3-4pm.

If you don't speak Chinese, don't have a travel partner, and have never been to China, I'd suggest you do two things:
1) chat more in the Dongguan forum to learn more and plan to hit very specific areas/towns/shops/hotels.
2) plan your trip in the order you suggested, getting your feet and dick wet in China in other areas first before ending up in DG.

OAH -- would you advise otherwise about Dongguan?

Lucky,

Thank you very much for that info, maybe for my first trip as I am on my own I will stick to HKG, SHA and Guilin/Yangshuo.

There should be enough pussy for me in those places.

Air fares from the UK, plus HKG hotel prices seem to be at peak rate from mid September to mid November.

I am still not 100% whether to go to China first in late October and then Thailand in February or do it the other way around.

Gus69:

Yongshuo is a great place, but not what i'd call a pussy paradise. There were 2 or 3 shabby massge parlors on the main drag but that's about all I could find. However, it is an amazingly beautiful place, extremely cheap, comfortable and just about everybody speaks english. Guilin is only an hour away by bus, and there are plenty of pimps at the bus/train station in guilin where you get dropped off.

Lucky/Gus,

As a strong advocate of S. China mongering, I reckon a visit is definitely in order. As Lucky says, one must keep alert since Guangdong is a haven of petty crime due to its lure as a promise of quick riches from all over China. However, that same promise, attracts some of the best pussy, as well. The FS sauna experience in DG is second to none!

If I have to recommend one town in DG, it would be Changping. There is a stop there on the GZ through train from Hong Kong, and some of the Shenzhen - Guangzhou through trains stop there, as well. A taxi from Shenzhen is only 100 RMB. I also recommend a stopover in Shenzhen to experience the infamous BBS scene there. I would wait for KTV in DG since you will save money, but KTV really requires a group. I have been known to roam through a KTV place on my own and get an invite into a room, however, I am an aggressive/forward sort of guy.

Just my POV.

OAH

P.S. Lucky is spot on about the sightseeing in DG. Forget it!

To Gus69, I would go to China in Oct and not in Feb since that is about when Chinese New Year would be and most of the girls would have gone home for the holiday.

Lucky888
07-22-04, 11:12
Gus -- I certainly didn't mean to dissuade you from partaking of the pussy in Dongguan; I did however want to make sure you knew what to expect.

As OAH says, a first timer to China really should take in the FS Sauna scene in Dongguan. And I highly recommend the Shenzhen BBS tour --- particularly if OAH is the tourguide, as you'll have nearly as much fun stomping around with him poking your big head into the shops as you will poking your little head into a chick.

If you do go to Changping, take a train. I never recommend a Shenzhen or Dongguan taxi to a non-Chinese speaker, nor to a first time visitor. Some drivers will still take you for a "ride." I'm not paranoid; I just want to give you the best odds for a positive experience.

Take Csun's advice about timing.

I am now in my late 50s so I am not looking for 5 shags a day, OK I am, but the body is not willing, even with a Bluey! Also I like a beer or two(or three) so I have to consider that, I may have taken alcohol, I will be in a strange country and not speak a word of Chinese.

I think best not be too ambitous for the first visit, great tips from you guys though.

I do favour October time rather than February, I'll just have to check out flight prices etc

07-25-04, 08:52
Gus --- A thought just occured to me. You might consider going to Macau instead of Dongguan. Macau is sauna heaven. Costs up to twice as much as Dongguan, but value is definitely there. Plus you won't be bored during the days, it's immensly walkable, and you'll have an easier time just speaking english. Check out the Macau forum and see if you think it's worth stopping there.

I was in October during the Canton Fair in DG and had a normal selection of talents to chose from.

Gents,

This is not a joke. The crackdown in China is serious. Mongers are getting hassled, and even jail time. On Tuesday a political party announced that one of their candidates -- a Mr. Ho -- was arrested in Dongguan in his hotel room and held without access to a lawyer, family, etc. until a signed a confession of solicitation.

He then got a 6 month detention for "re-education through labor".

I know you probably think I made this up given the names, etc.

There was also an article about the SZ ShaTsui crackdown in the Sunday Morning Post in HK.

It is interesting to know that cought now, you will NOT be fined. You will get a detention. Alex Ho got 6 month, the HK Police officer they got a few days ago in Sha Tsui got 15 days.

Still, this can be hard to explain to family and company.

Hi All,

From what I have been reading, there is more of a crack down in Southern China, Guangzhou Area. There are even raiding 4-5 stars hotel. One of my favorite hotels got raid in Southern China.
I tried calling a girl from the hotel and nothing. She lives and work at the hotel.

A dumb question, has any foreigner (white) been arrested or deported. Was a renewal visa denied. It's real bad if you work in China. I know it's a $5000RMB fine and or 6 months detention in a labor camp.

Another dumb question. Does anyone know what happens to a girl if caught, Arrested, fined, detention, labor camp, etc. or is each case and city is different.

Just my personal opinion, but I feel sorry for some of these girls. Yes, I was told not to feel sorry and not to trust them. They are just out for your money.

All the girls I have asked around the country gave me the same answer : whenever there is a crackdown and they have been caught, which is very rare, they are fined 3000 Y and then released straight away. This seems to indicate that a national rate for fines is normally applied nationwide. The girls don't worry too much as their boss will go to the police station to pay the fine, and the girls would have to pay him back. If they are freelancers, it is too bad for them, they will have to take from their savings. Don't worry too much for them anyway. We are no more in the period of labor camps for any unmarried girl sleeping with a stranger.

But this year, there is a lot more publicity than normal in Southern China, newpaper, TV. Pubicity, it's in the NY Times, S China Post, I even saw it on in a local Chinese new station in the USA.

Publicity:

1. The orgy seen with the Japanese a few months ago in ZhuHai.
2. The killing of a prostitute in Hong Kong in July.
3. The arrest of a HK police office in Shenzhen.
4. The arresting of the Democratic, Mr Ho, in Dongguan.

I'm thinking of renting a big house, lots of rooms and getting a handful of girls - say one per guy. Not gangbang.. but kinda like a nightclub atmosphere but in our own place. We would probably share the girls around. Shenzhen and Zhuhai are our target areas.

CC1,

Depending on the current situation with crackdowns in DG Taiping, I recommend you do this at the Long Chuan Hotel (sp?). This is a self-contained environment with Sauna, Nightclub and hotel rooms. You can probably make a group deal for the rooms and get one suite or something for common use. I am not sure you can find a house for rent for just an evening. Many S. China tycoons do have these sort of playhouses, but whether they will let a stranger use them is another question.

Can one of the China Experts out there do a "Everything you need to know about KTV's" and make a special section. I cannot go to KTV's with business partners, but have tried to explore the scene on my own. The only problem is it is tough to figure out exactly how it works. How long you have to be in the Karaoke Room, what you are allowed to do in the rooms, how to negotiate with the girls, how to get them back to your place, how much it should cost and whether that is for short or longer term.

These are the sorts of things that it is tough to get a handle on, but that people need to know to have any chance whatsoever. In most cities I have been in (not Shenzhen and not Shanghai) they don't even speak any english, so as much info as possible would be great.

Lets try to crack this hard nut :

How long you have to be in the Karaoke Room

As long as you like, provided financial backup is available.

what you are allowed to do in the rooms

Primarily to singing (even badly), everything else is optional and may or may not go.

how to negotiate with the girls

by negotiating ('talking' would come to my mind...)

how to get them back to your place

Try to ask. Detention or any use of force may backfire badly.

how much it should cost

How much a car cost? Please one figure only!

and whether that is for short or longer term

You get what you pay for. Buy short term, get short term....

they don't even speak any english

Shame on them! Aeh... why not speaking Mandarin? Many do know that language.

Sorry but I strongly desagree with "you get what you pay for", which seems to mean that the more you pay for a girl the best sexual service you get. This is absolute nonsense, and even very often the contrary. Expensive girls are more to often difficult to deal with, they would do this and would not do that, have many restrictions, like no BJ, no photo, no kissing, you name it, and they can afford to refuse your willing. You would have to beg them... The myth of the expensive beautuful sex bomb is well alive... I prefer a girl you can feel she does want you, the chemistry has operated, then she will tell a reasonable price and you are garanteed a good time for both.

Hi Erik:

I found an article on Southern China prostitutes, "The Dongguan Trap", Aug 22, 2004.

According the the article, The woman in Alex Ho case received six months. At the end of the article it stated, "China's Public Security Ministry has maintained that it is 'normal' for different sentences to be meted out for similar offences". In most cases I believe you are corrected. They (girls) are fined and let go.

Another article I found a mamasan was executed in Bejing but that was in March 1998. For the Zhuhai seen with the Japanese, people got 2 years to life. The information is located at the end of the article.

You did not read the question correctly. Usually LT is more expensive then ST.

Of course, quality can not be bought. It comes with the service, or doesn't.

But there is no doubt that you usually do get a better selection in Kara-OKs then in BBS. I also like massage/saunas, and again, they are better end more expensive. Sex can be the same then in a BBS, girl is at least double, plus the room fee. But a nice and clean environment has a certain worth too.

BTW, it may help to ask for someone who gives 'good service'. That is usually better then selecting your own girl. Stunner in looks can still be a bore in bed, unfortunately.

IMHO, there is no relationship between price and service whatsoever. I had one of the best BBBJCIM in my life last week in Panyu for 50RMB, that's right, 50RMB! On the other hand, I have paid over 1,000 RMB for an absolute dead fuck. Having said that, I have had my share of poor service at low prices too. Also, I agree that service is generally disproportionate to looks. My theory is that if I pay less and get poor service, I don't feel so bad and I can just try another one.

I agree with you as far as service goes. But sometimes I like to pay also for environment. And there you can usually see the different.

A typical BBS will cost RMB150, if lucky then in a nearby appartment. Usually with a below par aircon, historic bed sheets (if any) and a bathroom which even roaches avoid.

A sauna experience in DG area is typically 500 up. But it's a hotel like room, spotless clean, with a hot steam bathroom where the shower/steam room fits two. Now that's fun!

Is it justified? Sometimes I like to spend a bit more....

One way to test your phone to see if it is unlock and to have someone else's SIM replaced with yours (with another provider such as TMobile or Cingular) in your phone and if you phone can pick up their phone number and service, you're phone is unlocked.

Otherwise, you might have to asked your provider to unlock it. With TMobile, after three months, they will unlock it for you over the phone by providing you codes to program into the phone.

Also, you can surf the net for free and paid unlocking codes.

Good luck.

Re: Old Asia Hand - Price vs Service

I completely agree that there is NO correlation between price and service. Whether it be BBS, Brothel or KTV. Some girls are great and give you awesome service for a very modest price. And others just plain rip you off.

Freebies are usually a good value as far as total money spent vs quality. They do typically take longer to cultivate, but once you have one, they usually make great long term "fuck buddies". And they will tell you before you waste your time if they don't want to have sex because they are having their period.

EriK also makes a point about this that I very much agree with.

Just like anything else in China, caveat emptor, shop wisely and check out the goods before committing your hard earned money.

Do not purchase Viagra in China since 99.99% of them are fakes. They are so good in copying the package and the looks of the pill you can not tell until you have bought it and found out it is fake. We bought some back to the U.S. and had it tested in a lab and the lab test showed that it only contains 25% of the active items. When I talked to the drug store that sold them to us, they had the nerve to say that our test was wrong and it should have 35% and not 25%. When I said that it should contain 100%, their answer was that you can not get that here in China. Now that is funny.

Member #1537,

Tough one. I believe you are too late for the last bus from the airport to GZ. And, there are no direct trains at that time, even from Shenzhen. If money is no concern, you can take a private car for about HK$2,000+. Otherwise, it is complicated. Taxi or bus (not sure still running) to KCR, cross the border, taxi from Luo Hu to GZ. Or taxi to Huang Gang border crossing and get a taxi to GZ from there. There may still be buses from Shenzhen, but I am not sure what time the last one is.

I was and am often in the same situation you are and OAH is correct that you're in a difficult situation. The Hong Kong airport bus guide can be found at:

http://www.hongkongairport.com/eng/aguide/cross.html

GoGo Bus schedule can be found at

http://www.gogobus.com/travel/inside/en-timetable/en-TimeTable11.htm

I never found a bus that left that late at night from the airport, only one time a private hotel bus was able to pick me up and take me over. If you have to you can check the bus schedules for the larger hotels like White Swan and such.

I think I remember that I found out that trains out of Kowloon to GZ stopped operating at 6 pm, so you can't even taxi over to Kowloon and get a train. And I think all local airlines did not fly that late from HK to GZ. What I ended up doing one time was just getting a morning flight over and staying in the airport. There's a little bed / shower place on the second floor in HK airport that was OK. I landed at about your hour and grabbed a bed and shower for five hours and was on the early morning flight out. And there are some nice close hotels there if you prefer a real room.

I'm pretty sure your options will be a private car, stay in airport, or get a room in HK. You might want to post a request on the Hong Kong section for any locals who know of a good car service if you choose that route. Unless you have to, I'd recommend staying the night and forget about crossing at that hour.

But, if you find a way to do it, let me know.

I would take a taxi from the airport to the Huang Gang border crossing which is open 24 hours. Then take a cab or private car from the China side to GZ. I don't know of another way that late at night.

Taking a private car all the way from the airport would be quite expensive. And make sure you have a visa!

I DON'T recall seeing a second floor with "little bed / shower" in HKG. If there is, how much is it to stay one night. I do recall there were some nice restaurants and bars on the three floor.

There are late flights since my flight on Japan Airline came in around 10:00pm. After getting my bags, customs and immigration, it was almost midnight. At the time, I happen to pass by a locate travel. The travel agent listed about 20 major hotels in HK. ALL were full except for one. It was a 5 star and the most expensive. Lucky I already had a hotel.

By the time you get to your hotel in GZ with ANY KIND of transportation, it will be about 2-3am. If you are NOT sure about transportation to GZ that late, suggest getting a hotel in HK. Remember check-out time for most hotel is 12pm or 2pm.

Another option is you could fly directly to the NEW GZ airport but most likely you brought your tickets already. Check the websites for more information on transportation as suggest by other members.

S Weelock,

I checked and it is Level 7 in West Hall, sorry, for me it was a floor above the departure area so I called it second floor. My bad. It's called The Plaza Shower / Relaxation Lounge. It sure isn't a hotel room, but landing late at night and having six hours or so before your next check in it sure is nice to have a shower after being stuck on a plane for half a day. And I should note that I landed Cathay Pacific and then was booked on a Chinese airline (China Eastern or Southern, can't remember exactly) in the early morning over to GZ and I DID NOT have to pick up my luggage in HK which was a nice thing. They just forwarded it to the other airline, and all of this being considered a Transit Passenger saved a lot of hassel. Never left the Terminal and no early check in for the morning flight, etc.

"The Plaza Shower and Relaxation Lounge on level 7 of the west hall is open 24 hours and provides shower rooms, semi-private napping rooms and a mini salon."

Sorry I don't remember the pricing on it but I do remember that is usually full up so I'd book in advance.

S Weelock,

I posted earlier some information on the sleep / shower place in HK airport but it was a little slow so I PM'd you the info.

I looked at my travel sheet when I did this and the cost was HK 350 or about 50 USD. Price might have changed, this was last November. I also remember that I needed to have my on going boarding pass, that way I did not have to deal with customs and luggage and such.

Hi Tansak KTV:

Thanks for info. I tied sending a Private Message but your PM is turned off. Went to the website you pointed to and found the price. There are some problems. It looks like it's only for 2 hours for nap. ( It be great if it was for 6 to 8 hrs). You are correct about the boarding pass. Now I know why I didn't see it. It's in a restricted area for departing and transit. Arriving passengers CANNOT gain access to this area and use it.

Entrance Fee for shower is HK$65 / USD9
Entrance Fee for Nap Adult: HK$150 / USD20
Entrance Fee for Shower / Nap Package: Adult: HK$200 / USD28

Shower
Nap (2 hours)
Shower Gel
Towel
Hair Dryer

I notice the wait time to post by Regular Member is taking a while. Yes, Jackson must be busy.

Again thanks for the info,

Gentlemen,

If you are looking at hotels, my suggestion is to head to SZ. Both the hotels and P4P are cheaper than in HK. You can have a real room for the same 350 bucks. Stay near the station and get the train to GZ in the morning.

Just my POV.

S Weelock / OAH

S Weelock: This nap / shower has a few different packages. I think the day package is up until midnight then it starts the night package. They have shower only, day / food type package, etc... but this company has two different lounge locations in HK airport, one is the day area and the other is the night area. The overnight is listed at

http://www.plaza-ppl.com/hk_en/overnight.php

and it is for longer hours and it is an overnight sleep / shower arrangement.

If you make HK your final destination then you can not gain access, and I should have clarified this initially. If you are departing HK and you enter the gates, then you can get in and use the day room service or such, but if you are coming in late at night you do need a boarding pass for your next flight to stay a transit passenger.

OAH, You are absolutely correct that SZ is much better then HK for play (IMHO), and if the only reason to get over to GZ is for play then I think SZ is a great recommendation.

But to land HK and go through customs / immigration / luggage issues, as S. Weelock pointed out also that takes a couple of hours. I think you would have be in a BIG need to play to go through that and taxi to SZ to play for a couple of hours then get a train / bus to GZ in the morning. If you land at 10 pm or 11 pm you might not get done and over to SZ until 1 or 2 in the morning. And just to take a morning bus / train to GZ from SZ?

Everyone has a different situation and we don't know why it is a rush for Member 1537 to get to GZ right away. Maybe he just thought it would be simple to get over there at that hour of the night. If some folks are like me and have to travel half a day to get to HK with multiple airport stops along the way, and carry a lot of luggage because of work issues, going to SZ at night would be a bit much, for me. Now I'd rather grab a room at the Regal and stay a night in HK and take an afternoon flight over to the mainland if I have my choice and the business is paying.

But I honestly must admit about this airport place, the nicest thing I remember was not having to deal with my luggage, which is usually plentiful (it is common for me to pay excess baggage charge of 100 - 200 USD in mainland flights). Landed HK, had a nice shower, took a rest, a shower in the morning, fresh clothes and the next think I knew I was in GZ ready for anything. Of course right after I got used to HK and GZ I got my work areas moved to the middle of Zhejiang of all places.

Very much enjoy the information I've learned from all your posts over the time.

Correction and addition:

At HKG, there are also different package for overnight and day. I was send a PM from Tansak KTV.

Overnight HK$350 / USD49
Day HK$250 / USD33

Thanks,

I don't buy this AIDS epidemic in China. I think it's the NGOs' expansion plan for China.

Chinese walls come down

China will have the world's worst Aids epidemic by 2020. But the spread of the disease could also hasten political reform. Jonathan Watts reports

Saturday September 11, 2004
The Guardian

By 2020, China will have overtaken Japan as the world's second biggest economy. It may even have started to rival the US in terms of the hard power of its military. But if it is to achieve the government's goal of once again being the world's leading civilisation, the country will also have to acquire the "soft power" of universally appealing values.

How can it do that? Paradoxically, the best hope for softening China may be the same thing that poses its greatest threat: the HIV/Aids epidemic. China is on course to suffer the biggest epidemic of Aids in the world, but in the process it may find the illness acts as one of the main drivers for social change over the coming years.

"By 2020, Aids will have transformed society," says Wan Yanhai, an Aids activist who was arrested two years ago for disclosing details about China's HIV problem, which was then deemed a state secret. "Both people and the virus will be more active in China. It is not something we can ignore. People have to ask questions about their way of life, they have to get involved in social politics and get organised. From my personal experience I'm absolutely certain that this kind of activity will lead China towards a democracy."

It is already possible to get a glimpse of China in 2020. It is an impressive sight. Barring a war over Taiwan or an economic crash - both distinct possibilities - the country will have been transformed by the greatest spurt of development in world history. Beijing - currently thick with cranes and noisy with hammers and drills - will have hosted an Olympics to dwarf all its predecessors in terms of scale and spectacle. With annual growth of more than 7% per year, Shanghai, the country's commercial capital, will have overtaken Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore as Asia's leading financial centre. Further south, Guandong province will be the unrivalled workshop of the world. Its giant factories on the Pearl River delta will not only be churning out the labour-intensive goods of old, but also cutting-edge products developed by China's premier institutes of nanotechnology and cloning.

China will have become a land of superlatives. By 2020, a host of world-beating projects will be completed: the biggest hydroelectric project, the Three Gorges Dam in Sichuan Province; the longest bridge and tunnel, near Shanghai; and the highest railway, which will rise above 4,000 metres through the Himalayas to connect Tibet with Qinghai.

China will also be leading the world, reluctantly, in HIV/Aids. According to government estimates, the world's most populous nation had 840,000 cases of the disease in 2003. That amounts to less than 0.01% of the population, far lower than the 35% infection rates in parts of sub-Saharan Africa. But with the number of new cases rising at between 20% and 40% per year, the United Nations has warned that China could have 10 million cases by 2010 - double the number at present in South Africa, which is currently the world's worst affected nation.

Despite the huge numbers, health officials insist the disease will not derail China's economy. According to the government's latest HIV/Aids impact assessment, the epidemic will cost the country no more than 15.9bn renminbi (£1.1bn) by 2010 - equivalent to only 0.03% of GDP. But that optimistic view was contradicted last year by the former US president Bill Clinton, who warned that lost working hours and rising health costs could derail progress.

"China is moving in a positive direction. The headlines are hopeful and the future looks bright," he told a conference at Tsinghua University last year. "But the weight of 15 or 30 million people living with HIV/Aids could blunt a lot of your progress, especially if the burden falls most heavily on young people."

Officials admit the figures are guesswork. Government cover-ups, social taboos and a dilapidated healthcare system mean very few cases of HIV/Aids are reported. Some provinces, led by Yunnan - a major centre for the drug trade - have been very open about their problem and have sought international help to establish condom promotion and needle-exchange programmes that ought to help control the epidemic by 2020.

Earlier this year, the government followed that lead, extending Yunnan's policies across the country, as well as offering free tests and treatment to sufferers. But not all China's rulers have been so decisive. Henan province, for example, continues to cover up a blood-collection scandal - in which villagers sold their blood en masse, with the result that infected blood became mixed in to the supply - that produced infection rates of more than 50% in countless villages. Official figures suggest Henan has 40,000 people who are HIV-positive, but Aids activists believe the figure is over 1 million and rising because infected villagers are migrating to work in cities and their tainted blood is still being used in hospitals. Given that 23 provinces ran blood-selling operations, the problem could be widespread.

"I'm still very pessimistic about the control of Aids, especially about its spread," says Gao Yaojie, a local doctor who received international plaudits - and official intimidation - for helping to expose the problem in Henan. "The government has started to act on blood collection, but it hasn't done anything on the [black market] blood transfusion problem, which is also very serious. In Henan, Inner Mongolia, Guangdong and Sichuan, there are many underground clinics which offer cheap - and probably polluted - blood."

An equally grim picture is painted by Wan Yanhai, who has set up an NGO called Aizixin in Beijing. "I don't think that infection rates will slow over the next 10 years," he says. "The government has not invested enough in intervention and it is still underplaying the scale of the problem. My guess is that there are already 5 million to 10 million cases. By 2020, this will rise above 20 million."

The World Health Organisation disputes those claims, saying the government has done enough to keep the epidemic in check. Dr Zhao Pengfei, the HIV-Aids coordinator at the WHO's Beijing office, believes that by 2020 the target should be to keep the number of cases below 5 million. "Even in the worst case scenario, I don't think there will be 10 million cases by 2020," he says.

But he warned China must brace itself for the disease spreading from the current high-risk groups of blood-sellers and drug users - who are mostly concentrated in inland rural communities - to sex workers and the general population in urban areas on the eastern seaboard. Zhao's biggest concern is that gay men could pass on the disease to their wives and children. "Because of social pressures in China, most of the gay population is married and lead bisexual lives, so they could act as a bridge for HIV to cross into the general population," he says. "But social stigma has constrained the government from developing a policy to reach out to this group, even though measures are now in place for sex workers and drug users."

The fact that these things can be discussed openly represents a significant break with the past. That - and the influx of international funds to deal with the crisis - explains why so many of China's sharpest minds are drawn to working in the fight against Aids, which is now attracting the sort of idealists who would have been campaigning for democracy 15 years ago.

The slaughter of students and civilians in and around Tiananmen Square in 1989 has taught subsequent generations that engaging in direct political confrontation is dangerous and futile. Graduates of the country's top universities are now more likely to concentrate on making money - either through business or the Communist party. But for those still driven to change the world, HIV is an opportunity. Whether they work as healthcare professionals, journalists or NGO volunteers, they can not only help the sick, but highlight the growing threat of the disease as a means to indirectly shape China's values.

This reform by stealth is working. As the Sars crisis demonstrated last year, health is a vulnerable spot for a communist government that has presided over a growing income gap between rich and poor and a steady deterioration in the quality of rural hospitals. It has also become an opportunity for the new leadership of the Communist party to prove its compassion. Last December, in a marked break with his predecessors, Prime Minister Wen Jiabao visited an Aids hospital, where he told a patient: "We need care and love, equality and opposition to prejudice."

Many NGOs and health workers see the more compassionate approach to Aids as a sign that the government has shifted from a single-minded pursuit of economic growth to a more holistic policy of balanced development."HIV is already making a huge impact on society," says Lily Liquing of Marie Stopes International, one of an increasing number of foreign NGOs that have been allowed to operate in China. "It is helping to nurture a civil society and greater internationalism because the authorities and NGOs are working with their counterparts overseas in ways that wouldn't have been imaginable before. Homosexuals are getting organised for the first time, schools are working harder on sex education, and women are more conscious of family planning issues. HIV is bringing some very positive social changes. It has brought problems out into the open. We are seeing less taboos in China now."

While the disease has made life a misery for countless Chinese, it also appears to have given others strength. Ren Guoliang, a 23-year-old Aids activist, had to give up his job in the army and he now conducts lectures, works with an Aids hotline and appears on television to talk about the disease. Although he does not expect misunderstanding and discrimination to disappear for many years, his life has been made easier by the government's increased openness and the provision of free retroviral drugs.

"In 2020, I believe China will have more democracy, that there will be better policies for care and treatment of Aids. Civil society will have matured and we'll be more open about the disease, which will help to control its spread."

But he also fears another bleaker version of the future. "If the government fails to keep up the recent good momentum, Aids will spread out of control. It will be a disaster threatening millions of lives. China will be the next Africa."

Intransit,

You are absolutely right. This summer crankdown is due the this reason. The government try to controll the spread rate, and lash their whips on the hot spots which is regard as the one of major source for AIDS transmission. I always check up the girls before buy her offer. Make sure she get no needle marks over the elbow and are not from the rural region of henan province by her accent or ID card.

The guy who wrote the AIDS report thinks the Three Gorges Dam is in Sichuan... Well informed correspondent indeed. His paper smells like propaganda. In this case we see another example of the highly unatural alliance of Chinese government propanda, which is perfectly legitimate (trying to reduce the spread of AIDS <--> cracking down on sex trade) and traditional anti-China activism. What always amazes me is to see all these Beijing-based correspondents, some of them have been living here for years, still having their own twisted view of China, taylored to their brainwashed international audience. Still the government tolerates them. Ok, I have my theories about all this... but this is not the right place & time. I was just looking at this page by mistake, let me go back to the sweet & easy world of the photos section.

The primary method of transmission for HIV in China is by sharing needles, not sexual contact. Of course that could change, but it's a fact conveniently left out of most reports about the state of AIDS in China.

Today I will write my first report ever on my sour trips to China.

I have seen the saving face as long as winning desire trend, but now I really like to bring up the facts, and I hope they can view lights in my thinkings thanks to your help.

On August 8, I went from Beijing to Changchun, using bus. There was no airplane ticket available, or I just merely liked to take bus, since I took a fabulous bus from Fushun to Beijing 2 days ago. The good bus is of HuyYue company. Going with it, much better and more fun than airplane, and you can see nice countryside, freeway in the Northeast. The bus is clean and very modern, and fair so cheap, ticket is ready as well.

But, there is no HuyYue bus from BJ to Changchun, where I am going to meet my internet potential spouse for the first time(I saw her both by pictures and webcam, extremely pretty to my eyes, and she is the kind of look I have been looking for). Instead, I got on a bus which has lying beds with no space ovehead. So I will be salmoned all day. I hate this.

Morover, the trip was longer than expected. The driver first said 10: 30pm to arrive, but it comes 2 hours late, at 12: 30am. These all made me so tired, so anxious, and so messed up, especially my hair and my clothes.

So then, 12: 30am, I got to the bus station of Changchun. So many taxis hurry in, so many passengers hurry out, the luggage box were full of fast-moved Chinese. I squeezed in, saw my two bag and suitcase together, happy to take them out. I worry in this late and dark environment, someone can sneak in the mass to take my luggage easily. The bus driver did not stay there to check anything. All comes loose all goes loose, to him and staff.

Then, I stood there for 5 minutes, try to familiarize my mind with a local place now. I am in the middle of a strange land, a new city, and I can not understand Chinese. I refused all the taxi drivers' offer Then, now, a bit relaxed, I saw a taxi guy approaching me. He is bold, well built, about 45-50, kind of fat, slowly moving, and he offers me a ride. I see him kind of old man, so I fell more safe than with many young drivers whom I refused. I aksed him in Chinese, and he said he is married with kids at home.

Now, sitting in his taxi, instead of going to a place called Longda hotel, I wanted to call my girl. I wanted to let she know that I has arrived. Also, to let her know that I am going to Longda hotel.

There was a mess of this girl about hotel. A week ago, she happily asked me by herself that what hotel I like to stay in Changchun, and how much. I said, 100.

Then, I kind of realized that saying 100 is too cheap for an oversea American (I am asian american, 10 years living in USA), I told her well, this is 100usd, not 100rmb.

She caught the first thought, and did not answer. So, in fact, I did not have her certain agreement on where I should stay in Changchun

Then, I ask the taxi driver to use his mobile phone to call her. This is a huge mistake I made. I lost my phone in HK, and I did not want to buy a new phone, since I am back to USA soon.

Then she told the driver that she will come to the bus station to pick up. When she comes, I was so stunned! She is so pretty, tall, big, and sexy, wearing very aroused skirt, and put on extremely porn perfume. By this moment, and this late time, I am sure all men just want to fuck her right away.

If she is a hooker, my mind is simple. Just have sex with her. But she is the one, or the only one, who agrees to get married with me, at least in my mind, for the shortest ever time I am in China with her, about 12 days.

We went to a hotel in downtown, and she booked a room, using my pasport. My passport is still asian passport, although inside there is greencard stamp. It was approved on July, so I have no card yet in August, just the stamp. The frontdesk mumbled with her a bit about where I am from. My girl told the frontdesk I am from US, the frontdesk said, look at the passport! Hehehe

Right at that moment, I found out that I forgot my backpack in the bus luggage compartment! My bag has all stuff, my laptop, my FujiS500 digital camera, and my US cell phone!

Oh gosh, now my friend helped me to go back to the bus station. There is no hope, bt we just go.

The city is sleeping and at the bus station, the bus is not there anymore. All is empty. My friend bravely went to any corner, to any room in the bus station, call 114 or any number at 1am, try to look for a clue. I even didn't have my bus ticket with me any more. I threw it away, since it was not useful.

Then, at a moment, I think now, she called back the first taxi driver, who brought us from bus station to hotel. For that trip, when I paid, I was holding a 50rmb note. My friend asked him how much, she said 30rmb is ok? . He said, 50, since I used his phone. So I paid 50.

Later, in the day, I found out that distance in Chanchung needs to pay only 10-15rmb! This means my friend had a bit already sympathy with the first 50yearld old cab driver.

Then now looks like she is calling him, maybe to see if I forgot my bag on his taxi. The later, he came right back when we were standing. There were many young taxis drivers gathering around us now, a young guy and a pretty girl at 1am, so I feel safer and happy to jump back to the old taxi driver's cab, with my friend.

Then she asks him in Chinese, and we went on to search the city, where the buses park at night. After a prolonged search for 45 minutes, I told her we should give up. I said, in English, I rather lost my things, than lose her.

BTW, she doesn't speak english more than a few words. Likewise for me in Chinese.

Well, we went back. But suddenly, the cab driver spotted the bus from BJ to Changchun, thanks to the Chinese character on the bus front. We went in, and I found my bag back!

Back to the cab, my friend was tremendous delighted. She looked at me, gave a bright smile, and highfive with me. We say we all good luck! What a better start! And she has a comment: wow, look, chinese are so good and smart, they know how to get things done. This praise in Chinese aimed directly at the cab driver, and since then, she talked non-stop to him. He slowly replied.

Then after a while, about 3 minutes, still on the way back to the hotel, she still talks to the cab driver. I then took out 100HKD and gave to her. She said: give the cab driver? yes. He was surprise and happy to take it.

Then she still talks to him. At this moment, a silly idea came to my mind. Unconciously, I am not pleased with the fact she did not talk to me, and kept talking to the cab driver. Also, in the old good way, maybe girls don't want to sleep with guys just at the first meet. (I just merely think that she is staying at a relative's house in Changchun. He family house is from Jilin city, 1 hour from Changchun. Her mobile phone number is registered in Changchun, though)

So, I asked her in Chinese; Ni hui jia ma? DO you go home? then I said in English: I send you home.

She has no hesitation, smoothly says, that is ok, don't worry.

Then, arriving the hotel, before we leave the taxi, the cab driver told her directly, in a very intimate voice: wo deng ni!

I wait for you, he said

So the girl went up to my room, help me to open door, and told me, the taxi driver is waiting for me. Then she left, at once.

She went with him, this is for sure, but to where I don't know.

Later I found out it seems like she has no room in Changchun. She stayed in her friend's room to wait for me, and she thought (this is clearly, and supposed to be, we will sleep together at the first meet) The next day she came back to my room at around noon. She did not change her last night clothing, a pinky skirt with black underwear and white tank top. But the perfume smell is gone.

She tried to introduce her ugly friend to me. Maybe she thinks the ugly friend matches the tiring looking man she met last night.

The second night she went to her friend's home. As a result, the third morning, she comes to my room in newly-changed clothes. And she also came with her same ugly friend.

On this 3rd I ask why her friend comes to my room all the time. I basically don't know her from the chatting through internet, phone, picture or webcam.

Then at 5pm, we all went out for shopping. The day is hot, very hot, and two girls keep asking each other "go where? "

Their voice are up till near an argument, then the ugly girl left!

Then that night, my friend negotiated to sleep in my room. She asked to buy night clothing, and in turn, she will wash my dirty clothes in the luggage.

We have dinner in the room, she told me that she hoped I will respect her, don't be like others.

I think, it is time to bang her. And marry her next week.

Well, as the night went on, I manage to take her top and bra off, suck her breasts and squeeze it madly, but when I touch her pussy, she pushed my hand away. I did not try it a second time. I thought we were going to marry. So no need hurry.

The next day I gave her 1500rmb to buy a new mobile. She bought a Haier.

But this 4th day, her ugly friend came again

I was so mad around 5pm, since I was the ugly girl to go away. But I did not say, just to go out to smoke.

My girl told me to sit next to her, but I said I want to smoke. hen she told the ugly girl to go home, but the ugly girl said she wants to watch TV.

Then they talked to each other outside, then when they come back, the ugly girl utterred: no marriage.

My girl told me: her friend's boyfriend is not going home tonight, so she will go to her friend's home to sleep with that ugly *****.

Well now, this causes me suspect since if there is a boy in that house, then obviously she could not go back at 2am to sleep there. It is not convinient. In fact, she did not go there. She also told me later that she went "home" on that old taxi driver's cab.

So, my question is now, WHERE DID SHE SLEEP THAT NIGHT, THE FIRST NIGHT WE MET, AFTER SHE LEFT MY ROOM AT 2AM?

My intuition and experience, and common sense, told me, she went to fuck with the taxi driver. He is a good deal for her, and she likes him as well.

What do you think about this stupid story? She slept with the cab driver? I think very possible, since she truly had no place to sleep. Later, I asked her this question directly on MSN messenger, she told me that she has a room in Changchun in the female student school. I think it is lying. She is not a student in Changchun anymore, this is fact. Her student ID is from Beijing Renmin, but she is an online student

If she is a fuck body, I would not mind. But I hoped to marry her at first, so I thinked a lot about this.

Please help if you have an idea.

Based on the set up of the society in china nightlife, my intuition slaps straight in my face to say: she did sleep with the taxi driver, and that is why she the next day still wear last night clothes, and bring one ugly girl for me to see.

Sigh.

The pic is her and her ugly friend on the second day going out with me. She still wears the pinky skirt last night.

Hi Long Cu, I don't want to rain on your dream however from your posting I would guess that you are somewhat older maybe in your 40-50 and the girl is probably in her mid 20-mid 30th. I have seen this lots of time where an older man tries to marry a younger woman from a different country with different cultures. I would be very careful about considering a serious relation with someone who you can not speak with and have a totally different culture. I have seen oversea Chinese guys marry the Mainland girls, bring them back to the U.S. and the marriage was over in a couple of years because they don't have enough in common. Just be very careful. If you lead with your heart, you will probably end with a broken marriage after she gets her green card and you will be out a lot of money. Just my opinion.

Long CU,

First where is the pic you meantioned in your post? I can't find it after searching the whole forum. Uh I surggest you figure out a way to bang her then leave her alone, and proceed with your buissness, or find a girl more compatible to you back in the US. I don't wanna say something to [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) you off, but if I were you I would marry a advanced educated lady who is sophisticated determinant as well. Beautiful sirens are anywhere and within your reach in a second. Methink your former President Bill Clinton had set up a excellent example for you. Don't let her charm intoxicate your brain. Re: Long CU and his report

I am afraid I would have to agree with the two posted comments, that you can do better. I would think the girl had sex with the cab driver, and if she is so willing to do a cab driver, then she must be a pro. Either that or she is just a nymphomaniac, which is not so bad, but I would have to agree that you could do better. Much better.

Sorry this may sound so harsh, but if you look in Beijing or Shanghai, you can find all kinds of girls who will marry you. And they are hotties too! In fact there is a major shortage of eligble men for successful professional Chinese women in their 30's.

I hope you know what you are doing. I know a 35yo from the US who fell for a young 23yo after only three months. They got married, and now he totally regrets his decision to marry her. He is in the middle of trying to get a divorce now.

Good luck

Long CU:

I am much more cynical about the whole story. The whole scenario sounds a little too far fetched. IMHO, it sounds like an attempt at writing fiction.

Sorry for being skeptical. It just does not compute.

Otherwise, all the other advice is valid. Get on with your life.

Dear all fellows who helped me with comments on my Changchun story:

I 'd like to thank you so much. The basic I wanted to do here with the first long report is like a "Audience" lifeline in "Millionaire" show on ABC: I am not sure what is right, 50-50, that girl slept with the cab driver or not. My intuition tells me, and IF I WERE HER, I would do what I like. This means I think she slept with the cab driver for satisfaction, for convinience, and for revenge to the fact that I asked her if she needs to go home, I will escort her home.

Her thinking is that I was not very careful, losing even my lugguage, and through that, mess up my night with her. In vein, she must look for someone one, and the cab driver is one personal lesson she gives me.

So, publicly, she announced to me indirectly that she went to sleep with the taxi driver. That is why the next day she came to my room, I totally did not mention anything about last night, but she still said: "The taxi driver said you are good man"

She is not a pro, she can be a part-timer. I saw her student ID. She is a student of Renmin Open Program, which lectures exclusively online.
One complicated but easy to understand about this girl, is that she favors the 45-50 years old men, and give the young guys a hard time.
I saw that when she used my money to pay for service. To that cab driver whom she likes, she gives him money with no hesitation, in a way that give more is better.

In our hotel, she gave the young bellboy 5rmb for our huge luggage, and the bellhop was so upset that I must give hime some more.
This explains to me that this girl has done various sections with the older men to make money, simply money. And it became her characteristic habit in her way of expressing her inner lifestyle
It is understandable, because the young girls in there, or maybe anywhere, truly have a hard time to make money, even if they want to go to work for fast food chains or doing office job, it is too troublesome compared to the easy money gained by asking money from men after having sex with them. And normall, only older men have more money and more willingly to give, since they want to get fresh bodies. Young chinese boys would not pay, or very little, since they have not much, and they are young, too.

I continued on to check her up by phone calls to her mobile phone, the one I bought for her. And it brought me more stunt:

On Saturday night, 8:30pm china time, a time I never called her before since I is 5:30am in US PST, I called her mobile. A middle age man voice answer the phone, keeps saying, Wei, wei, wei, very loudly.
For a second, I thought this could be her father, so I hang up!
1 minute later, I think again!!!! So I called again, but the phone was powered off, and it remains off untill today, 3 days later.

Her father has his own mobile phone, and he never picked up her phone when I was calling her in China during the time I was in China.
So, I decide to call the father's mobile, at near 11pm China time. Well, her mother answered the phone, and told me she is not home.
Her family lives in countryside Jilin, 11pm she is not home, that means she lives somewhere else, not there

Hahhaha. Well, when I can completely end my suspicion? I just must leave this *****, because her play for me is just based on what I have nicely done for her. This is the sour part of the story and the relationship. If so, later she married me, I will be dead with her, and she may fuck with 2 guys next door, or our funiture delivery guy, maybe.

I am so sorry guys, I am now getting into a traumatic coma. I know the Shanghai girls are good to be wives, real wives. Last time, my girl in SH, who happened to be my tour guide, shed tears when I left the city. She is so lovely, and truly have heart. Countryside china girls in the Northeast are ruthless. That Jilin girl treated me like a piece of trash, and she always wanted to get money from me, and she was so proud of the fact that she went with the taxi driver (unsung proud)
When she was with me, it was the Olympic time, and she passionately cheered on the China team, and then called me a foreigner, a Meiguo ren.

The last night I stayed in Jilin, she stayed in my room at first. I have booked another room for her parents to stay, since they told me they wanted to send me off to the Jilin airport the next morning, my flight is 7am.

But after getting the room from my money, the parents said they wanted to go home. Instead, their children, the girl, and her younger brother, called xiao ti, will send me there.

In the last dinner altogether, the brother, who has been with me and the girl all the time we are in Jilin, brought in a girl who seems to be his girl friend. (I followed her to Jilin to see her family. The parents decided to hold on the marriage to wait for some time. They told me, or it was my idea, to come back in the winter December 2004 according to my idea and her Mom's approval, or next year after the Chinese New Year, according to her father idea, since he said she is a Monkey and it is not good for her to marry during her year of age, or to come back in the July, according to her. She wants me to stay longer in USA to get more money.

A step further into the marriage arrangement, that her Mom asked me to buy an apartment in either Shanghai or Beijing as a condition, a firm prerequisite to marry her. At the moment, I only had enough money to cover my trip(extended to HK for 2 weeks) and the wedding. How did they come up with the idea that a senior student can have money ready in hand to buy a 50000 USD commodity within days, I really don't understand. Or I just think this is a nice way to say No to the marriage, and also prepare for a scam.

I am very skeptical about buyiing an apartment in BJ or SH for her to live. Will she quickly divorce me to get half the house or me? Will she bring all kinds of "friends", or boys to the house when I am not home away from China?

For my tactics, I already decide that I will not petition her to USA. Can she go into US embassy and say, hey, I am wife of US citizen or greencard holder, give me the visa to US(so I can go there and have another guys)!!!

Back to the dinner, the entire family and I had very good time, and I thought that the parents were going to sleep in the room we booked for them. The mom gave her boy some money, I saw, so that he can bring that girlfriend to somewhere. And my girl stayed in my room, that is what she did.

So I was working on her body, nearly going to the deed, then someone knocked the door. She wore clothes back, and call the name: that is her "brother". He is knocking our door at midnight. The he came in our room with her, talked a bit, and then they left together. I was naked, my clothes were on floors, so I did not wake up to say anything. I was embarassed!!!

Well, 15 minutes that she is not coming back. My feelings comes again, she will not coming back.

I waited and then called her mobile, the mobile turned off. I called her "brother" mobile, then she came on and said"why didn't you sleep?"

then I said ok, I sleep.

They were supposed to wake me up at 5am so we can be ready to go to Jilin airport, my flight is at 7am

At 4:30am, I was so anxious. Again, I don't know where she is. And it is clearly that she is not coming back to send me to the airport, as they promised. Their promise is not what I needed, but I think they would keep their words for such a small thing.

Well, at 5am, I decided to come to the frontdesk, and ask where the room of the parents are. I should have done this last night.

The front desk gave me room number, and I came to knock the door. After 3 minutes of fierce knocking, my "girl" answered"Who is it?" in a very mad voice. I said" Me". then 10 minutes later, she came to

Then I walked into the room. Oh Lord, the "brother" is lying on one bed, the one next to wall. He has no clothing on him! Of course his lower part is inside the blanket, but upper is naked, and his short is right on the counter!

I think"what the fuck is this?" and I left.

She later joined me at the lobby, and told me to wait for the guy, then we all went to airport.

When I told this experience to my BJ renmin roomates (I am back to BJ from Jilin), they say that boy maybe her boyfriend, not a brother. The setup showed that they made love that night, also I found on the trouser of the girl, there is some cum liqid look alike stain on it, when she said next to me in the airport of Jilin.

Well, I call her parents, and ask them this. They say, the boy is real brother. For this matter, it is ok to check it out using government family records? Then, all chinese girls say, they sometimes stay with their brothers in same room. But, being naked in front of your ssister is ok? NO.

Then some chinese girls, my net friends, told me, that inner sexual thing can happen in rural China.

Well, story too long, too scary, and I am too tired

See you later, and I wait for your votes on the matter: is that girl sleeping with the cab driver?

Well, to me, as of today, she is having another man, who answered my phone call on last saturday. Or that maybe the old taxi driver man. It is not a young boy, since his voice is old man.

Hi,

This is just a suggestion, so please don't take it the wrong way.

I appreciate the details in your report, but I know from experience that a lot of people find it easier to read a report if the paragraphs are separated by a single blank line.

I know how this happens: You're banging away at the keyboard, putting your thoughts into the report as fast as you can write them. However, if you could hit the return key TWICE at the end of each paragraph, your report would be much easier to read, which would certainly be appreciated by your fellow Forum Members.

Thanks,

Long Cu,

It is fairly obvious that the girl and her whole family are playing you for the fool and trying to hit a homerun. Most Chinese people believe that all foreigners have money, regardless of what you tell them.

Frankly, I do not think she fucked the taxi driver. And, it is possible that your phone call got diverted to the wrong number. Happens often in China.

On the other hand, there are too many other inconsistencies in her stories.

My advise is to start looking for something better too. I do not recommend Shanghai girls. They can be very materialistic. I reckon Sichuan are the best overall.

Just my POV.

Good Luck!

Long CU,

Stop being a sucka and get your " 35, look young and fashionable"
ass together with some girl who'll fuck you first and then
a taxi driver second.

You seem to be giving up a damn lot for this gal, when, as
is obvious on this board, you can get beautiful, sexy China gals
for as little as 100-150 RMB...and it seems like she's not even
worth that...

Peaceful ok

As a monger, I achieved already 2 18 y.o girls for 800rmb, 4 pops all night long, from HuaYuan hotel, and they even found the hotel and paid for it. I stayed in cheap hotel, so could not bring girls in

Check the post in GZ where you are entitled King, I list the location of the local sleephouse. Too many unbelieable pretty girls hang out near there, the safe haven for them, and the best place to find straight deal
I tried to move up to the next stage, which is real more serious: the marriage. As seen, I did it in a very short time, and this is my first fault. Perhaps I should be more cool, well just be silent and left the taxi with her, then fuck her up, and be a winner. I was so upbeat in the game, and I got my mess. Now I try to solve it, since the marriage deal is still up in the air. That is why I come here to report and to ask for advises. Most of advices are very sincere and valuable. I may head for an instant hookup for marriage in Szechuan, as officer OAH consoled me.

Have a nice day

Long CU,

I am quite confused with your scenario. If you are at you early or mid 30s and you have lived in US for about ten years and you are from Asia, you should understand Chinese culture better. I guess you are not Chinese or not Hong Kong Chinese.

Your story is long, but I did not see anything wrong with it. Girls in China keep yapping all the time. She talked to the taxi driver and went with him. There is nothing to indicate she sleep with him. She brought her ugly girlfriend, because Chinese girls always bring a girlfriend to a date. If you want, you can bang your girl on the bed and ask the ugly girl to sleep on the carpet. Last, brining her brother, his girlfriend and her parents to the hotel is fine. In China, you fuck the girl, but you don't fuck the family. You support the girl financially, and too bad you have to do the same to her family members.

That's why I am confused. I you have an Asian background and most likely you were raised in Asia, you should understand some Asian Culture.

If you go to Korea, I can promise you the same will happen. This is only a matter of cultural shock. Long CU, re-think about marriage. If you suspect she sleeps with the taxi driver, based on some ungrounded reasons of logic, you can't live with her in a marital relationship.

She may or may not have slept with others. Nobody knows. Nowaday, modern Chinese girls sleep with "everyone". Is that a big deal? I guess not. The most important part is "do you want such a relationship?"

Good luck. Cross racial and cross cultural marriage is difficult.

Long Cu,

I know chinese culture very well. That some called brother is definitely her boy friend. No Chinese family can sleep naked in the same room no matter how close they are.

She is just careless enough to let you see her naked bf.

Wake up and fark the marraige deal. You got no commitment to them. It's obvious that the family is out to squeeze your money.
It's better for you to get out now, both for your money and emotion.

Your frequent unanswered call has proven that she is not so "clean". plus all the doubtful events. Get out immediately and you will be a happier man. Just make a clean cut. Stop calling and receiving her calls.

Instead divert your effort to look for a better partner. There 're many nice Chinese gals around esp. in BJ.

Good luck.

The girl is fiercely denying anything, anywrong doing.

I don't want to be a true coward who put words in her mouth. If I leave, oh yeah, one day some one will truly fuck her again.

So I am planning a direct check up with the taxi driver.

I have his phone number in Changchun.

So, I asked one internet lead in CHangchun, who is a girl, to call this taxi driver.

The girl in Changchun knows nothing about the story. She just does me a favor: call that guy, and pose as Z.N. friend(Z.N. is name of my "girl"), then ask him if he knows where she is, and if he knows her new mobile phone number.

My logic here is simple: if this driver is only a driver, who brought ZN to her home that night as thousands other customers, he would say"Ey, wrong number, who is ZN, I don't know"

But poor thing happens

My friend said the conversation went like this

Driver: Wei

My friend: Do you knowwhere is Z.N. now?

Driver:Who are you?

My friend: I am good friend of her, I am looking for her, do you have her number?

Driver: you are good friend, but you don't have her number?

My friend: sorry, she turned her mobile off now

Driver: I am not gonna give you her number. I don't have it now
88.

It is clearly enough now, the driver knows ZN, it proves to be a one night stand, since that night the driver made extra 110rmb from my money(I gave him for the prize of finding my bag, also hope to shut up my friend's mouth of talking to him)

Well I clearly lost in this game, but I never gave up to find out the truth.

I kind of not so much very 100% believe my friend who conduct the conversation. There is one sentence she said: he not know ZN
the next sentence she said: sure he is ZN lover

So I will ask one more friend, who is a true friend, to pose as ZN mother to call the taxi driver. Let's see.

And I hope to give the driver some gifts whenever I am back CC.

Tatyu,
Yeah I grew up in Asia

If I say I am Filipinos you will nod your head
If I say I am Jewish you will count your money
If I say I am Muslim central asia, you will pale and silent
If I say I am black you will say"hei wei" and go away.

So, my thinking is, yes I know all about girls in china sleep with any one. true. girls in any country do that too.

The only thing you are right, is that I am not Chinese. 100%. Maybe long time ago, someone in my family lives in China land. But not now.
When the girl talked to the taxi man, she did not talk to me any more. At all. Since then, she belongs to him. She went with him, it is fine, but she has no room in Changchun. She first expects to stay with me, that was why she booked a king bed. I could not believe that girls in China solve the night by having some men who have room, then jump in to sleep with them, and pay by sex.

Why didn't I expect that? Because I was hoping to marry her, not to do a sex tour with her. If that, I am here an expert, 100 taxi drivers cannot take her out of my hands, I promise you.

She brought her ugly friend to intimidate me, not for shying purpose. The last night she already came to my room by herself, what the hell is it shy here any more?

The ugly girl later kissed my girl in front of me, try to flip up her skirt(maybe for me to see), and I question myself that maybe these two girls did many 3some sections with the ugly girl bf. the ugly girl bf lives with her bf in an apartment where my girl stayed there to wait for me to come to Changchun. Leaving my room at 2am, she could not go back there, due to losing face?, inconvinience(no bed), and if the taxi driver decides to spend the money on her, there is no choice my girl could make:sleep with him. That is why she came back to my room the next day without changing clothes, but the perfume is gone, since she took shower

My dead analysis is for my decision to not marry her, do you know?. I am not crazy.

About other girls, I don't need to fuck any. I am not a bad guy who dream to do serial fucking within a family. I only need a wife.

Tell you, within the days I stay in YinHe hotel, Jilin city, the hotel has a sauna full of girls, and they come to knock my door. But Idid not go to sauna or sleep with any amssage girl. I want to keep the respect for her, and her family. But in turns, whatever I do nice for them, I got shit back. This is it. If I was a normal virile asshole, I was her husband already. I carry with me the reputation of university student, from a family never has any divorce or seperate inside at all, and also I carry the name of a meiguo ren who has money. So, I try to be nice, and I got shit right where I am nice. The taxi driver could use my money to book the room to fuck that girl.

Well, they clearly blame me not to keep my things. But, what the hell, this is not my fault. The bus should have a checking baggage system or tickets check out. And the fact the taxi driver found the bus on the street, it is totally lucky. It was a fast glance over, although let's say he has good and fast eyes, that is why he could get the girl later. Then the girl pops out a sentence iin Chinese(I understand Chinese enough) saying that Zhongguo ren zhen hao....etc...

This fucking sentence hooks she up with the taxi driver, we all 3 decided.

So of course I will not ever marry her. I plan to call her to BJ, fuck her up then leave. And I will give my dear taxi driver some gifts as well

Besides, tatyu, my case is not cross racial. Many asians in the north did not have enough meaning of this word we in the world have basically 4 races.

1. Caucasian, or white

2. African, or black

3. Asian, or yellow
Asiatic should be asian as well.

4. Afro-Polynesian-Indian are all mix races, so they stand for their own race:mix

The difference in NEA and SEA is the ethnicity. To a containing country like China, even nationality can not be used to classify people.

The cultural is not also very right. They claim to offer cultural matter, but inside they chase after money.

My time being there with her was near 7-7, China valentine's day, which fell on Aug 22.

She booked the hotel YinHe(Silver Galaxy, according to the old legend) for us, do you see what she meant.

But when the mother told me to buy a house in BJ or SH, and my girl suggested to check my bank book, well I don't have that money right there to show them.

It would be i think about 400000rmb to make their eyes bright.
I had in my bank only 60000rmb, the thing is enough for a wedding
Well her Mom told me I can leave!

Then we came to the end of the discussion that I should leave on the Aug 16. So she can truly unite with some lover on Aug 22 maybe. That night I called her from Beijing and she stayed home with parents, say she loves me, etc.

So I don't understand what culture you mention about.

Thanks,

Jackson

Sino View,

I have asked a Chinese guy friend to mention this problem directly to her Mother, same Father same Mother, she emphasized. The only thing remained, whether the Mother and the Father are real or not, or also fake.

Well this is too far suspect. For a real marriage, even I buy a house, they can not do any thing to my property if I list it as a pre-marrital furtune, other Chinese girls advise me.

For the green card matter, I will not (certainly) petition her to USA.
She said he is her real brother

For this matter, I am not worrying so much. From what I view, he is kind of real brother. The matter was perhaps they made sex together, brother and sister, this, the chinese friends of me said, can be very possible, since it happens a lot, particularly in the rural China area.

The real guy I worry is the taxi driver. As a rule of long distance dating, the fisrt moment of meeting the guy must fuck the girl. The girl is so much ready for it. The taxi driver caught the chance perfectly. This girl is not a pro, therefore, it is a worthy chance for him to act on her. My girl, upset from the "turn down", according to her viewpoint, very possible follow him.

I already told her I wanted to send her home, but I was denied. She said immediately, "don't worry"

This fucking verbal reacts is like a war move. I am very positive that she wants to fuck the driver for her fantasy, that is all. If I am not there, she will never fuck a taxi driver. This is the twist most of the readers in the forum don't catch.

Basically, Chinese like to do the things that they can triump on other mistakes. I have many Chinese friends, and I know this.
One time long ago, I tried to date a Chinese from my coutry. She showed interests to me at first. As usual, the girl would bring a friend with her. This is the real scene meeting at local leads, not internet and long distance. Those are meeting to fuck right away.

So, in turn, I brought a guy friend with me, a very close classmate, he is also Chinese from my country.

At the dinner, I talked conservaively. This is the things girls don't like. They want a guy to show strength, manhood near how to play..etc.

Then at night going home, the friend of her goes first. Then my date said byebye. Just right at the moment she leaves the car, my friend, my closest friend, he walked out of the car, I was still sitting at the wheel. He came to the girl, and it seems like they exchanged phone number!!!!!!!!!!! hahahah

Well, my classmate is not a playboy. I know he will never date that girl. He is so busy, and he goes to school with me every single day. But, that is how they do. Yeah they do that, because they like to teach "outsider" lesson. That is they mean that they know what is right to do, and they have the right to do it, since we are all friends, not husbands or wives, nor bf or gf.

Well, in the old time, our US cowboys seem to be best in this kind of games. But I thought it would happen at bar scene. For bar scene, I am well aware. A guy who wants to get my girl at a bar will regret!!! but for the case in Changchun, I was totally suprised!!!!!! one side is a young guy, university grad student, coming from USA, who promises to marry her for real, and one is only a fucking taxi driver, 50 year old, married, have children.

Well, the fantasy and so-called life plays its role here.

Yeah I am coming to the point of decisively forgetting her, and look for another woman.

Just time and chance, and money wasted. Also I must think of myself.

What did I do wrong?

You know her parents very very very much like me. But she, and her brother seems having problems with me.

That is the scenario.

You are right at the point she is not clean. Yeah i called her at an unexpected time, and her fuck body of the night grab her phone to show up his manhood. I was worry that was her father, but I was wrong. I should have shouted straight to that guy.

That is why the phone was turned off now, forever. She came to her phone and realized that was me calling from USA today she told me I was stupid to call wrong number. She only play mind game. The number only one digit wrong will never get to a phone. It will be announce "no existing number"

By the way, do you speak and understand Mandarin?

Sorry to post many reports here. I will stop now. The case is getting closed. I tried to find out the truth since I don't want to make an innocent girl sufferred, in case she did not sleep withthe taxi driver. But it seems she did.

I am still very skeptical about this whole scenario. Notice I did not say confused though I am truly confused as well.

Long CU has only given out hints of himself and as Tatyu had indicated, we still do not know what background LongCU is.

I will not go into all the reasons why I doubt the authenticity of this adventure. The more I read, the less I believe that it really happened.

1) Asian American my ass... You have a green card and your English is terrible for a guy that lived in the States for 10 years.

2) You said you think marriage is serious and yet, your Chinese is limited and so is her English and you want to marry her because she is tall and pretty and says she loves u!?!

3) 35, young and fashionable!?!? hahaha...Don't overwhelm us with your American slangs.

Long CU, as several have mentioned you have pretty strong chinglish so I suspect that you are chinese. You should know the culture. If not then you pretty much do now.

The taxi driver probably didn't get to bone your girl unless she is a street walker. Chinese girls are very particular about who they bone. White men have an advantage as girls are both curious and desire bai ren.

Also small town girls will push for house/car/money in marriage but if you are american you probably won't need to put up anything. They do this to seperate the wheat from the chaff. In the country side there is a lot of chaff. So the family needs these things to see what you are. But the family will also try to take advantage of you. So stand your ground. If your american you don't need to own a house or car since you will most likely go back to america within a few years.

Don't waste your time on girls that don't respect you. This sounds like a messed up situation so you should simplify it and find a new girl.

Long CU,

The first time I read your post, I was thinking to myself,
"Is this guy for real?"

When I was thinking that, I was not referring to whether your story was true or not. I was questioning whether there are people out there desperate enough to marry anyone that comes their way. You don't know anything about this girl. You don't even connect with her on an emotional level, nor do you have anything in common with this girl. What do you even like about her? All you like is the way she looks, and within minutes you're willing to go through marriage just for that? I always believed if you had to get married, it would be with:

1. someone you care deeply for.
2. someone who cares deeply about you.
3. someone who knows how to make you happy
and tolerates you even for all the stupid things you do.
4. someone whose personality makes it possible for you
to want to spend a life time with them.
5. someone who you have shared lots of special memories with.
6. And most importantly, someone who you trust.

How can a few seconds with someone be enough time to tell you all that?

If you want to know why you're failing with women so often. I can easily tell you everything you're doing wrong just by reading your post.
The main problem is with the way you act.

Allow me to explain. Your posts tells me more about your personality than you realize. Just like what you say and how you act in front of
the girl gives her non-verbal clues of what kind of guy you are. Are you a winner or loser? In her eyes, you've classified as a typical low class loser. Ouch! Girls don't give it up to guys who they feel are socially inferior. They have to admire something about you, or they wouldn't volunteerily bonk you. Its biological for them to seek out the strongest male. They skip over all the weak ones that they can push around.

Lets take a look at your situation here. You've just met her, and you're already willing to marry her. What does that tell her? It lets her know for sure that you're desperate. She can easily tell that you don't have much other options, and so you're willing to take anybody that comes your way. She thinks you haven't been with a women your whole life from the way you act, and does not find that appealing. In her mind, she puts you in the loser category, because she hasn't seen anything special about you.

So whats the correct way to do things? Whenever I meet a girl, I usually tell them romance stories about other girl trying to jock me, and then this other girl wanted me to hang out with her next week if I have time, and how I'm happy because girls keep complimenting me all the time. Although I do not tell them directly, the hidden message is clear, "Hey, I'm used to be around girls, and they like me." At that point, she might even start to wonder why girls find you so interesting. She'll take more time to find out more about you in order to satisfy her curiousity. Getting intrique is a good way to start.

Now, girls will always test you once in a while, and your attitude must be inline with that of a high class guy who is on top of things.
Like once in a while, she'll try to insult you, just to see if you take it. If you do, she'll keep doing that to you, and walk all over
you from that moment on. For example, she might say, "Even if I give you away for free, no girl will take you." You can counter by
smiling and saying, "Well, they must not very smart then," with the undertone that you know something that they do not, and that you secretly know your real worth.

Okay, lets get back to find what else you were doing wrong. For one thing, you hardly know the girl, and you're already acting possessive, and tripping over with jealousy. You're having friends call her, and you pretending to be someone else. Do that in the states, and the girl will label you as a real psycho. Do you really have that much time to waste? She is not stupid. She knows what you are doing. Once again, the way you act lets the girl know of your low male status. Think about it this way, do you ever see a guy who has women all over him ever getting jealous over some new girl he just met? No way! It just doesn't fit the profile. The guy who gets women has certain qualities about him, and one of them is that he is secure about himself. He knows he is good, and so he does not have to resort to irrational jealousy. The winning male can just next the girl if she isn't behaving, and knows other girls will snap him up quick. Does the winning male ever have to resort to calling the girl repeatedly like a stalker to see if she is lying? No, he doesn't have the time, and he knows its not worth it. Basically, obsessive/compulsive behavior are characteristics often seen in guys who have low social status in the world, and women are very keen in picking this up. This is how women they separare the winners from the losers. Your non-verbal communication gives them more clues than you realize.

Biologically women are tuned to bonk the strongest guys, just like how men are tuned to want to bonk the prettiest ladies.

I think we should give Long CU a break. The whole English thing, I can completely understand. My parents arrived in the US in their early 30's, they've both been in the US for more than 30 years now which is 3 times longer than Long CU. I can tell from reading Long CU's posts, that his English is better than both my parents.

It's also obvious that Long CU is not Chinese. I would venture a guess and say that he's either Vietnamese or Indonesian, but obviously, that's just a guess. He says that his ancestors are Chinese so I would think that he's Asian of some sort, like me.

Long CU,

As for the family asking for things, that's to be expected. What's not expected though, is for you to buy everything they ask for. There's supposed to be some bargaining. If they insist on you buying an apartment, you can always offer to buy one in Changchun. Buying one there will probably cost around 50,000Y, but you don't have to pay everything at once. You can down 10,000Y and pay the rest over 15 or 20 years. You don't even have to give the 10,000Y at once. You can offer to pay it over 6 months or so.

One correction though, not all Asians are this way. In Korea, contrary to a previous a post, the woman's family buys stuff for the man's family. Pretty much, the bride's family pays for everything with the exception of the honeymoon, which is supposed to be paid for by the groom's aunts and uncles. Additionally, if the groom is an eldest son, the bride and groom usually lives with the groom's parents.

As for the girl herself, I'd say forget it. It sounds like she's hiding something and you can't have a serious relationship with a girl who's hiding something. I strongly doubt she slept with the taxi driver though. That makes no sense whatsoever. First of all, where are they going to do the deed, in his cab? You already mentioned he has a family at home so that's out of the question. Her friend has a boyfriend so that's also highly unlikely. Second, she has no motive, at least not a reasonable motive. Even if she were a hooker, it's unlikely that a cab driver would want to hire one since, again, he has no place to do it.

One last thing, the rule of long distance relationship is not fucking at first sight, especially since you've never met the girl and you've never told her as such. You weren't having sex conversations with her, in which case the first thing you would do is fuck, but you were trying to initiate something that might lead to marriage, which is a completely different thing. Regardless, there's probably around 700 million Chinese women in this country, move on to the next one. This one sounds too complicated for you.

Boy oh boy. Should I continue? I struggled for a few minutes. Long CU, I trust your "story" just like I trust everyone's. It is good and more peaceful to trust. Your English, cultural background, green card and others are not important.

If you found my previous message offensive, please accept my apology. I have to tell you how I feel now, though. The first time I read your first post, I was naive to think what a cultural shock or clash. By the way, cross racial or cross cultural marriage is a Year 1 course in social science, which I will not go into details.

After reading you subsequent posts, I tend to agree with what others have said about you, like possessive.

We, or at least I, do not mean to insult you, but please do not become over defensive; otherwise, you will not be able to accept any constructive criticism.

My advice is for you to move on. If you do not feel comfortable with the relationship, say good bye to her nicely. Don't ask her to come in for a bj and then a fuck, before you leave. Be a gentlman.

My advice to other folks is please do not attack "brothers" of this forum. Go somewhere else.

Long CU,

Hey! take it easy! everyone has their own version of a hottie. If you think your "fiance" is all that hot, read the picture posting guidlines, follow them so you can post your pictures, and show all of us just how hot this girl is.

Ok, I will take the stance as others have and assume this is all actually serious and not a joke.

I am still quite perplexed as to why you equate a hot girl with someone who is suitable for marriage. It does not seem obvious that this girl has the hots for you. Neither mentally or physically.

If you expect to be married to this woman for the rest of your life, then why all the games?

Are we talking about women as chattle? Objects to be traded or brokered? This is not the Middle East we are talking about, where the attitude toward women is much more fundamentalist and women really are treated as possessions.

Are you sure you want a "nong ming" girl (farm or country girl)? There are literally millions of other hot girls out there who also make a good wife, even ones with good jobs who live in the Cities. Why this one?

I think it is time to move on with this thread, and yes, this should be continued in the Chinese Women section.

Long CU,

What I wrote might be a bit on the tough side, but its as truthful
as I can put it. I figured that telling you what you want to hear
just to make you feel better would just be a temporary solution.
You'll only keep making the same mistakes over and over again
with women until you finally figure out what you're doing wrong.
Before I was 23, you wouldn't know how many times I messed up with girls. Went out with them for a couple of months and then getting dumped, or getting the "friend" bull shit. I think I was really pathetic. But looking back at the way I acted back then, I would have to say that the final outcome was expected. It wasn't until I was 24 that all my answers just came to me in sudden flood, and I figured out how to get girls go to crazy over me and to turn them on. I even ended up with a habit of making them beg me for sex, or they don't get any. No more "friend" bull shit for me. Maybe it was a new awareness of the world, that I didn't understand before that changed my attitude.

A lot of it has to do with understanding your own self-worth.

>By the way Sound Stream,
>
>How do you analyze her reasoning to chase the manhood of the >taxi driver? He can only provide her one night free hotel and >lots .of fucking, but no more than that. He is married and >have .kids, and he is 50...

You're still hung up on the taxi driver, or your own ego. I'm thinking the reason for this is that your ego has been hurt.
In desperation you're trying to make up for it by trying to win her
to prove to yourself that you're not a loser. Sometimes in life, you can only win by learning when is the right time to cut your loses.
She's not your only choice. Learn to next her because she isn't playing by your rules.

You want to know another example of ego? If there is a really fine girl that everyone pay attention to, and you just act like she is just okay, and just tease her a bit to make her embarassed, but not angry or insulted, she'll be wondering why you're not all kissing her ass like everyone else. She probably can't stand this, and will try to get you kiss her ass. Her ego just can not take it, so she tries to win you over to prove to herself that she's still hot and attractive. But as soon as she gets you to kiss her ass, she'll walk away satisfied, and then leave you. = 0 Don't let them get the satisfaction, and they'll still try to hang on... Hook.

>Other Chinese fellows in my hometown told me that the taxi >driver is good for her, since he can bring more customers for her >later.

Why is this so important to you? If you want to be more in control of your life, start learning how to stop thinking about non-revalant items that wastes or drains your energy. If you don't know something is for sure, don't waste your mind energy thinking about it. If you do, you can get stressed over something that has not even happened or will not happen. Its all in your mind.

Here my question to the linguists:

How can you ask if a massage is legit or not?

I don't really want to waste time and money with a massage that does not end with FS. How to ask?

I remember, once in a hotel I ask for a massage and the hotel lady ask me whether I need 'good' girl or 'bad' girl (she did not use good/bad, I forgot). But there was a term for sex worker and I got what I wanted.

Who can help?

Moody
10-05-04, 17:26
DayNight,

You can ask for a "Zhi," pronounced "jee," which actually means chicken. Everybody though says, "wo3 xiang jiao i ge nuihar." If you say this, everyone should know what you want. A *****house is called a "Zhi wo1," which literally translates to chickenhouse.

The problem is, you can't really ask if a massage joint is really a legit place or a chickenhouse. If you ask, they will always say no, after all, you might be a cop. Instead, ask if you can see the massage rooms. If you see rooms with 2-3-4 beds or more, it's more than likely that it's a legit massage joint. If all the rooms have only a small bed and all the girls are wearing makeup, then it's almost guaranteed that FS is available.

Once you're in the room alone with the girl, you can ask for various things. Most people though don't ask, they just start feeling the girl up. If she doesn't say anything, other stuff is available. If you're not comfortable with that, you can ask, "xiaomei, meiyou shitade fu u?" That translates to, "Miss, isn't there any other service?"

EDIT: A bad girl is either a "huay nuihar" or a "tao yen."

I fully agree with the comment about posting Chinese terms. As we all know, unless pronunciation is very precise, a word can mean something entirely different.

Rather than each "anglicize" our personal interpretation of a Chinese word, we should all stick to using the pinyin system. The Chinese themselves use it. It is very precise, and there is no room for mistake once you understand the pronunciation rules.

For example, referring to Moody's post:

"Chicken" is written "ji1" (meaning "ji" pronounced with the 1st tone).

"Girl" is "nu3 er2"

Etc...

Dick Johnson
10-07-04, 05:11
"nu3 er2" is not "girl" but rather "daughter". If you asked the pimp to fuck his daughter you may be in trouble.

"nu3" is female. "nu3 ren2" is woman.

"xiao2 jie"3 is "Miss" or young lady or sometimes "working" young lady. It's a bit more polite/subtle.

"ji1" or jee is chicken and is a rather crude way of saying hoe. Ok if youre joking around with friends but not cool using the term with 'working' girls or inside the bar or massage parlour or club.

Daynight,
I believe Moody actually meant "nu3 hai3 er" (=nuhair), which is the correct word for a girl, but it does not indicate if you mean a "good girl" or a "bad girl", just a girl, not a boy.
When you enter a massage place or a KaraOK, actually the straightest and most explicit way, without beeing rude, to ask if they have girls who give sex service, is to ask if they have "xiao3 jie3", which is nowadays understood in the whole country as the polite term for "prostitute". If they answer "mei you" to this question, that means that the girls you see around are not for sex.

OldAsiaHand

To have or have not FS, that is the question:

Usually one can tell if the establishment provides FS or not by its overall appearance. For BBS, the places where hair is actually being washed, cut and set can be misleading. A few of these places may offer FS and others you may get a HJ at best. If it is not obvious from appearance, I will select a girl first. When I get into the room or cubicle, I will ask her if other service is available. If she says no, you can always leave during the first 5 minutes without charge.

of course they are monitored by the government and various organizations.

not just in china. but every country. notice just recently someone mentioned about ****d activity in the s korea board and immediately there is massive crackdown on the rlds.

china monitors the internet heavily, not only for political reasons. they are starting to require video surveilance cameras and formal registrations at internet cafes now. after cracking own hundreds of internet cafes in the last two years for reasons like 'fire safety'.

As for the "ji" word, it means prostitute (ji nu) or brothel (ji yuan) if pronounced in the fourth tone.

I wish forum policy would allow me and others to post Chinese characters.

I know forum policy don't allow us to write in foreign languages, but I know three thing for facts (I start to express myself like those Chinese Da Lao Ye Men'er!): first, there is an increasing number of foreigners who can speak and write Chinese. Second, pinyin is not always, almost never clear, even though you can sometimes guess how it writes out in Chinese. Third, despite forum policies, I have successfully posted Chinese characters on this forum.

Jackson: Do you tolerate the moderate use of Chinese characters despite a clear Forum policy?

i don't think chinese government has the sophirep001ed technologies despite supplied by ibm, sun, cisco and now probably google as well to monitering the internet activities as accurately as mentioned here. the way chinese government cracked down on the porn sites a while ago was to use the time honor incentive and informer. setting up a hotline and give incentive for anyone who point out where the porn site is. "china offers rewards for reporting porn" (http://www.newsday.com/technology/business/wire/sns-ap-china-porn-rewards,0,1812553.story?coll=sns-ap-technology-headlines)

have you ever been to those fire hazard internet cafes? small room packed with people smoking and the powerwire tangled under the table. some cafe even go as far as stealing electricity from other place running cable from other place.

i think there is a casue/consequence/observation point with this board. most on this boards are foreigners to these places and not exactly the group with most up to date information. problem and crack down happened before they actually get to be mentioned in the board. with the timing, event is observed almost the same time when the problem is metioned in the board and action taken by authoirity. we are simply observers rather then casue of the problem.

in term of china, i don't think chinese authorities actually care about foreigners mongering in china. after all, this activities bringing in foreigner money. if you remember what happened in zuhai with japanese earlier this year, i heard from a couple police friends that they have received orders from above to be careful when cracking down in entertainment establishment and they should let go any japanese.

again, let's not bringing the big brother is watching thing paranoid from the west to china. this is a different culture and different way of doing things.

foreigners are only small percetage of the p4p market in china. taiwanese and hongkongese used to be the big spenders in these areas but i suspect locals have taken over as the major spenders. the way i see it, p4p services in big cities are one of the best way for the government to channel some of the big cities prospectarity to the countries sides and maintain the stability of the countries side. as another threat discussing the ktv girls working in shanghai, beijing and other big cities. quite a few of them are supporting their family back home. one night out could support the family for a couple weeks.

just my two cents.

Hello all,

Have been waiting to get my updated membership for some time now and at last it came through.

This is about the child beggar’s hanging around different places.

Yesterday I had dinner with a group of visitors from abroad of a mixed gender. After the dinner, on the way to the car, we passed several child beggars with their “mothers” hanging around in the background. The children will intentionally block your way which is nothing new.

But, what happened is new to me and properly will happen all of us sooner or later. The kids were hindering us to close the car door by purposely standing next to the door. I was able to close all passengers’ doors by a mixture of blocking and pushing them away. Then it came to me, I was the last person in since I helped the other ones and I was driving that evening.

I had two kids begging and was trying to push them away when one of the females in our group gave one of them money. (She later said that she thought if she gave them money they will go away.) This was the starting shot for all kids nearby, hell broke lose as all kids ran to block the door and was begging for money. I literally had push and lift them of the door so I could close it. Luckily these were children with almost no weight, but they hold on to all they could grab to stick fast which made it difficult, after all they were children and I didn’t want to hurt them by using my full force. I manage to close the door after a while, but then a child clung to the door while I was driving from the parking. But the kid left after a half minute or so.

Really scary, these kids will desperately do anything to get money.

Forget that the parking guard will help you. He just stood there and shouted, but never helped. I yelled at him to manage this kids but he just used his voice, nothing more.

Lesson learned, never give them money, it wont help, just make things worse.

I wonder when they start to pocket picking or open the doors when you closed them. Both are a development I do not look forward to but I see as unavoidable.

Remember to tell your visitors from abroad about this. So you don’t get into the same trouble.

Jman is correct. Don't worry about China is monitoring this site, or have the technology sophisticated enough to do so. They use the method of "reporting to the authorities" to shut down sites that is w/in China. This was just announced today on the radio, China has rewarded $260 each to the people who provided significant info to the government to shut down these porn sites. All the servers are within China.

There are many forums like this over the web, China most likely is not going to monitor something that they can't control. This forum is not reporting anything new that the Chinese officials are not aware off. So relax and enjoy this site. I know I do.

Primas,

I once pushed a kid to the ground, accidentally, so I could close the door. I only meant to push him or her out of the way. That's not my usual shtick, but frankly, I think the whole process is sick. I really want to deck the mothers for exploiting their kids like that, but I would never hit a woman, so that doesn't happen.

Also bear in mind that they don't do this to their comrades. Only foreigners are targeted for this kind of treatment. Don't give them money. They won't go away. They either ask for more, or suddenly more kids or other beggars emerge and try to keep milking the cash cow.

re: about begging children

yes, i agree, giving them money will just make things worse. the kids learn that if they are persistent enough, they will eventually get money. these are unfortunate kids, and their parents train them to do this. however, giving them money just reinforces the only thing they know, and if if works, they will keep doing it.

i have had beggar children cling to my leg as i walked along. i had to literally peel the kid off of me.

though, a friend of mine would really like to smack these kids, he does understand that they really don't have many options. the government is so bureaucratic, and inefficient, and needless to say corrupt, that a lot of people in this country pretty much get a raw deal in life.

i hate to say it but, china is more interested in making itself look good for the olympics than trying to solve some serious social issues that are only getting worse.

On the subject of Begging Children, please don't give them anything, not money, food, nor even a look of sympathy. I made the mistake of doing so during my first trips back to China years ago. A kid came up to me while I was shopping, begging for money. I saw only 1 kid at first and gave him 1rmd. Before I was able to leave, I was surrounded. I was glad that my belt was pretty tight, or my pants would have pulled off by those kids. My only option was to run into the mall that I was close to. Those kids did not followed.

Another incident happened during last summer. I was once again shopping in GZ Beijing Lu. A kid came up and begged for money. I refused, and he grabbed my leg. seconds later two more kids came over and started to drag my shirt and shorts. I had a hard time fighting them off as I was carrying 4 bags with my hands. After a couple of mins, 2 uniformed securities were insight raising their knight sticks to scare them off. I was somewhat reliefed, but the story does not end here. As I reached for the money that was in my shorts, in a pocket where the zipper was shut, to pay for the items that I had selected. I was suprised that the zipper was opened and the money was gone. I was lucky that I split my money into 4 pockets and only lost a portion of it.

The moral of the story, you can feel sorry for the kids, but just don't show it, use the needed force the get rid of them. If you let them hang around, you will be in trouble. Spread your wealth, into different pockets. The chances of having your money cleaned out by these thieves and reduced if you divide it up. I usually split my red maos (100s) into 2 pockets, 50s in one, and the lesser notes in the other one. Hope this helps.

I don't want to be too political on this board, but I want to add another angle to MAB's point of China spending more resources on the '08 Olympics to gain face than their social problems.

On the surface, what China is doing to prepare for the Olympic Games is nothing but to gain face and recognition in the international circus. But if you take a peak underneath the skin, you might recognize that this is more economically motivated than anything else. Tourism in China from the foreign has decreased since world economy started to go downhill. This economic trend will continue for the next several years. Now that China is a member fo the WTO, it is more vulnerable to the downturn of the world economy. One way, and a major way, to spike up its economy through tourism. And what better way to improve tourism, and the economy, than the Olympics.

Every nation has its social problems and each government is corrupted in a way, rather it is on the surface or underneath. China is taking steps to correct them. It took the US over 200years to be where it is now, and PRC is only 55 years old. Would you say that the US was a better country during its 56th year than China today? I doubt it. Give China some time.

RE: begging children

A distressing phenomenon you can see and find everywhere in China, whether in a big city or a small town. Pls do note that these kids are part of a consortium and all the money that they get from begging, goes directly to the coffers of local gangs. In return, these kids are fed and maybe, housed.

Many of these children are from rural areas, where their families are poor and have no resources to care for the children. So, the poor parents rent/sell their kids to gangs and a life of begging for the children starts. I've heard of stories that there are gangs going around buying handicapped childen and sending them to beg in big cities. Also, many kidnapping cases result in the kidnapped kids becoming beggars or street urchins in places far away from home.

I totally agree that giving them money only worsens the situation. If you give to one, pls expect to be swarmed/attacked in the next 5mins or so. I usually tell friends and acquantainces who visit China never to give money because I do know that the money goes directly to the local gangs.

If you really feel sorry for these children, try carrying sweets/candies in your pockets and give them this instead. But bear in mind that you'll definitely be swarmed, but at least you know you are not indirectly funding the local beggar gangs in expanding their biz.

I've seen children beggars/street urchins way past midnite before. A regular kid would have been in bed by then, but these kids are still out begging. Once, I was coming out from a convenience store and a few kids came begging for money. I told them to go away and leave me alone. One small girl saw the bread which I've just bought and asked if I could give her one. I ended up giving them the whole loaf. It was the least I could do and I realised that these kids don't really get enough to eat. I would assume most are abused if they do not bring in takings on a regular basis for the local gangs. Even amongst themselves, they have to struggle to survive. Imagine the cruelty and hardships that these kids have to bear.

I suppose there is no exact method to stopping this phenomenon. Only the government is in the position to do anything concrete. However, one way in which most of us can help is to refrain from giving money, no matter how hard your heartstrings are pulled. When the local gangs/consortiums are not funded, they do not have the resources to expand and eventually the whole begging-chidren industry will fizzle out. But along the way, many kids will suffer, sigh.

Hoeman.

Have you noticed that if you are walking down the street the beggars will follow you only so far before they stop? Has something to do with territorial rights or something? Can anybody shed some light on this phenomenon?

Regarding begging children,

Here is a link to a great NY Times article (published 13 Oct 04) about how the government tries to keep things in order before the peasantry erupts into a full on country-wide protest against illegal taxes, lack of social services and of course lack of decent paying jobs to make a simple living.

http://nytimes.com/2004/10/13/international/asia/13uprising.html?hp&ex=1097640000&en=99957254858ad6b5&ei=5094&partner=homepage

Admittedly the government has a unbeliveably huge job trying to keep more than 1 billion people happy (all the while living the high life mind you - I want to drive a brand new black Mercedes while only "earning" a few thousand RMB a month too!).

Begging children

I think the children stop after a certain distance because they have to stay within eyesight of their adult supervisor who is hiding out. Just a guess.

I agree not to give them money because it only invites more and supports the adults who push them into begging. What really bugs me is seeing the kids beg for money from people in cars (in Shenzhen on the Shennan Lu and Wenjin Lu intersection). The kids are often holding babies. Pollution is bad enough in China, but to be be sucking in exhaust fumes all night long? and babies lungs are most vulnerable.

I do sometimes give to the maimed adults who beg, because, I don't care how much money they have, I would not want to be in their shoes.

i think these boards are likely monitored, but that doesn't matter unless they see something they find morally offensive. like too many reports about **** providers.

i have been told that a number of the big ktvs and saunas are run by the army. the small fry is all over the place and local law goes in and enjoys our hobby as well. it is certainly part of the culture right now. most people ignore it because they don't feel offended by it here.

one must remember that most chinese are atheists. many will say buddist but when you actually ask if they really believe they say no. they look at it more as moral teachings than a religion. christianity is not practiced by many and in general discouraged by the government here so those values are not important either.

several of my lady friends openly encourage their husbands to go out. this is not the norm, but it is certainly more accepted than in america where you will never hear a girl say those words.

don't give in to beggers. we all want to help, but your inviting your self to get ripped off. those little hands go into loose pockets and you will not feel a thing until you notice your money or passport or whatever is gone.

Also, it is a tradition that goes back to centuries in China (but not only in China) to handicap artificially babies for the purpose of making them good beggars. You all know that in this country the life of a baby has a different value than in the West. Baby girls are sometimes still killed by their parents nowadays. The worst city in my experience is Shenzhen, where you can see all kind of horrible kids and babys with eyes hanging out of their skull or a arm in the middle of their back, you name it. Naturally handicapped children are also purchased from the poorest famillies by the begging industry. A few years ago I entered a dodgy show room in Kunming after paying a ticket 5 Y, just to watch a young girl with no arms and no legs, displayed in a basket as a "human chicken". The chicken could speak and eat an apple. It was disgusting. Just like those beared women whom you could watch in the circus in the West in 19-20 centuries.
DO NOT COLLABORATE WITH THAT INDUSTRY, DO NOT GIVE TO THE BEGGARS IN CHINA.

Just another voice to echo what has been already said: Don't give money to beggers, in China the people who are really in need of money almost never beg, you see them wondering around the streets with ripped pants and coal for skin, these people are completly fucked, no food, no place to sleep BUT I have never ever seen this type of person beg. Its no use to think that giving money to the kids (slaves) on the street will make their lives better, this money goes straight to their rich owners.

I used to work in North Anhui and I can tell you that most of the beggers you see on the streets are making use of their in the agricultural low season to are making some extra cash to extend their houses at home etc, they are not destitute or hungry.

Be tough and tell the people who are asking you for money on the street to fuck off, tell these people to let their slaves go home and go to school.

DO NOT PANIC -

See a doctor, usually a sign of urinary tract infection. If you sense a burning sensation while [CodeWord112] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord112), that is problaby it. He will give you sulfer pills, usually 5 days your ok.

OK, I'm back from the Doc. It looks like a mechanical cut in the urinary tract (and I specially said: NO TEETH!!!). That micro cut probably got infected with something. They did found puss cells. But that can happen with any wound!

Whether there are any STD related cells I will only learn in 3 weeks time when the lab report is ready. They also took some blood for HIV and Syphillis testing. In the meantime I'm on antibiotics just in case for the next 7 days.

Or in short, they found something but don't know what it is yet. Could be something, could be nothing.

I'm now the 4th day on antibiotics and everything is perfectly alright again.

The more I think about it the more I believe it may not be a STD at all and just the reaction to a human bite. Human bites can very toxic and can lead to grave reactions.

The last gal did nibble a bit on my dick and may have left a micro scratch with her teeth on the inside of my urinal tract.

Let's see what the lab report will tell in about 2.5 weeks time.....

Personally, I never would go with a male pimp. If you go to an apartment with a stranger or a young XiaoJie, you run the risk of being robbed. I know, I have been! It is probably ok to go with a mama, but leave your wallet in the hotel safe.

Also, I think it would be better and more fun to take the girl back to your hotel.
Be sure to negotiate amount of time and number of screws, otherwise she will be in a hurry to finish and leave. Grab the money and run!

The Claim: Oral Herpes Can Be Transferred to the Genitals
By Anahad O’Connor

The Facts
Many Americans know that cold sores are caused by a herpes virus. But few understand the relation between oral herpes and genital herpes, the sexually transmitted disease that affects more than 45 million adolescents and adults nationwide. Also confusing is whether herpes on the lip or mouth can be transmitted to the genital area. There are several strains of herpes virus. The types are closely related, and they usually lie dormant in nerves near an infection site until emerging on the skin during an outbreak, often preceded by tingling, itching and pain.

Herpes simplex virus Type 2 is the strain associated with genital herpes. Many cold sores, on the other hand, are caused by herpes simplex virus Type 1. But Type 2 can also cause sores on the mouth, and Type 1 can spread to the genitals.

The oral to genital infection route is more common. More than 20 percent of new genital infections are caused by herpes simplex virus Type 1, largely transmitted through oral sex, experts say. Soap and water kills the virus fairly easily, so washing is a good way to help keep it from spreading.

Herpes is transmitted primarily by skin-to-skin contact when the infection is active, but carriers can also transmit the virus when they have no noticeable symptoms — and many do not. Fewer than 20 percent of people with genital herpes know that they have it. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, most Americans have the oral form, and have usually contracted it before adulthood.

THE BOTTOM LINE
Cold sores can cause a genital infection and vice versa.

But after you had couple drinks with the girl(s) in their shaddy bar or KTV later, the bill might come to thousands of RMB. Quite a few Hong Kong papers have reported people were being illegally imprisoned by the mafia because they didn't have cash with them to pay for this rip-off scam. Well I found a place that has some, for $30.00 US if anyone is interested. I'm travelling right now but I bought two copies and if anyone wants one I'm happy to deal with you on it.

I talked to the owner after I bought these two and he has 5 more left as of now and I have his email address. Anyone wants to email him direct to purchase this just PM me. I asked and he OK'd that I send out his email to you folks.

[QUOTE=Santa]How many of you guys agree or disagree? Should male pimps be illegal?QUOTE]There was at one time a reason for a pimp, at least in most cultures. Protection for a woman. Now we all know the last 30 years have changed the sex industry and we practically worship these women rather than degrade and beat and rob them like was often the nature of the business back in the day. But we have to prove that the women can trust us. I hate and wont work with a pimp 9 times out of ten but I am also not afraid to tip a decent "tour guide." I like how it works in Latin America. Its very casual there are simply some guys down there that make it their business to know the whereabouts of every working girl around. I would liken them to perverts mostly as opposed to true criminals, thugs or even money makers. But I agree as a rule, and partially because I am very respectful to a woman, I have no need to work with a pimp of any sort and wont. Just take your business elsewhere.

Not to pop a hole in your relief, but it is too soon to know for certain. You can be somewhat relaxed in that you *most likely* don't have anything. But to be certain you need to wait for three months and get retested. In particular AIDS, Herpes and Hep can take months before they show up on a test. Since she caused a lesion that became infected it is very possible that she could have transmitted a virus.

The tests only look for anti-bodies that depending on your immune system can take a number of weeks to develop and even longer to show up in sufficient numbers to show a positive on a test. Even after three months you might show negative but have a disease so you need to be retested at six and 12 to be certain. But if you live life with our hobby you can never be fully certain about your current status. You just have to get tested every three months or so to see if you have developed anything.

The reality is that if you play this game for long enough it is close to 100% likely you will develop herpes. You might beat the odds, but the statistics don't favor it. Also you can have it and be what they call asymptomatic. Which means you are a carrier that can pass it on to loved ones but actually never have an outbreak.

Since herpes is passed by skin-skin contact and people with herpes shed virus' on 5-10% of days without actually having a outbreak. Chances are extremly high if you have been with over 20 girls you have been exposed. Since all the girls in BBS have between 2 and 20 customers a day they are most likely infected no matter how long they have worked. (A little more on the stats in the US 1 in 4 women have HSV2 in the general population. 80% of all americans have HSV1 by the time they die. *Those are the numbers with so many puritanical monogomous goody goodies in the mix. Just think what the numbers are of sexually active having multiple partners a year group. Or the prostitute group.*

You can reduce your odds of contracting it by having the girl wash her *entire* body with soap and water, using a condom, and then washing your entire body as soon as you finish. But that won't prevent it if you play long enough you will meet the girl who is asymptomatic who will give it to you.

We just have to accept that is the case and when we have it we will have to pop aciclovir or valciclovir every day to help prevent outbreaks and transmissions to loved ones. (A bit of irony: Herpes doesn't shorten your life or in most cases cause much discomfort, but the meds will take years off your life. They kill your liver and kidney and from the studies I have read do so pretty quickly.)

What I find annoying is how quickly the medical community can develop vaccines for chicken pox (which is a herpes virus,) mumps, measels, the flu. But a "STD" they can't seem to defeat. I wonder if they get the same number of dollars from our beloved governments to find vaccines for those diseases as they do for the non STD ones. Yes I know they recently developed a vaccine for herpes, but it really isn't much. It doesn't have any effect on men, and with women it is less that 40% effective.

I was recently tested and came up clean. But a friend recently found out he has herpes and it made me do some research on it because he swore he always used a condom, and had only been out about 15 trips. My understanding was if you use a condom your safe, imagine my surprise to find out that isn't the case with herpes. Which in turn made me think if I would give up the hobby. I decided that until I am married I will continue, and after I have kids I will start again. Although I might change my mind about restarting since I don't want to infect my wife, but one woman for the rest of my life seems way too dull.

Play it safe, allways use a cover even for BJ and wash throughly

But we don't like girls without teeth!

O.K. So how do we say "please, do not use your teeth!" Is it "qing ni, wo bu yao ni yong nide ya"? Is there a more polite way to say it? And how do we say "please lick it and suck it gently".

How do you say "please don't tear or damage the condom"?

So, in mandarin, how do we ask the barbershop mama, "do you have any girls without teeth? Why? Because, I want a blob job and I'd like to play safe!" ???

And, "honey, please use your gums!"

Your translations would be both useful and appreciated.

Hiya Santa,

Translations you requested:

1. "please, do not use your teeth!" = "qing bu yao yong nide ya chi"

2. "please lick it and suck it gently" = "qing ni wen rou dian xi"

3. "please don't tear or damage the condom" = "qing bu yao noong po an chuen tao"

I dunno why you would want girls without teeth, cos that would make the girl real ugly, but here goes the translation:

1. "do you have any girls without teeth?= "ni you mei ya chi de nuzhi/meimei ma?"

2. "Because, I want a blow job and I'd like to play safe!" = "ying wei wo yao kou jiao, wo bijiao xihuan an quan"

3. "honey, please use your gums!" = "bao bei, qing yong nide ya rou" (the exact translation for gum is "ya chuang", but using "yarou" here should be more suitable.

Hoeman

Just tell her that your little brother is not a piece of chewing gum, and ask her to lick it as if she's licking her own fingers after having Kentucky fried chicken!

Daynight wrote that some xiaojie attacked his didi with her teeth and it then became infected. (see his earlier post) My elves are now knitting him a nice thick woolen condom for Christmas, I think that should give him some protection.

So, following his good advice, I want my next blowjob girl to have "no teeth". If you know where I can find a toothless cutie please let me know. I cannot use Mrs Claus because she still has a few of her teeth, and besides, she looks like a toothless old hag!

The last few weeks I’ve travelled to several second line cities such as Qingdao, Chongqing and Suzhou and had invariably stayed at up-market foreign managed hotels such as Shangri La, Marriott and Sheraton. The one thing common is that they all seemed to provide in-room sex service through their beauty salons. This is unheard of in the past. Foreign hotels used to be very conservative and my previous experience was that only the second line foreign hotels like the Singapore Mandarin chain and the Macro Polo of Hong Kong were willing to tolerate that kind of things in the second or even third line cities like Xiamen and Haikou.

I certainly welcome this development because it is much more convenient than going out to a sauna place or bringing a girl back from a nightclub. The quality is reasonably assured at 7-8 on a scale of 10, and there is no need to worry about police or being seen with a young girl in the elevator. It remains to be seen when the top foreign hotels in the top cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen) are ready to take a bold step forward to offer their guests a one-stop service.

(In Beijing, as I recently discovered, the five-star Tianlun Dynasty Hotel on Wangfujin is offering in-room full service through its sauna, but it is not managed by a foreign hotel chain. The sauna, of course, has always offered full service on its premises but not room service, while the nightclub on the third floor allows their girls to be taken up to your room).

Does any brother have any information on the availability of in-room sex service by the top hotels in the top cities?

OldAsiaHand

WooVictor,

IMHO, the convenience comes at a price. Hotel BBS girls usually run me RMB 600-800 vs. RMB 150-200 outside the hotel. They tend to clean up to look the same. I normally just give the girl my room number to avoid the embarrassment of walking through the lobby to the lift.

I can also confirm that the Tianlun Dynasty Hotel is 100% girl friendly. I paraded throught the lobby at 3 am with a Mongolian from Maggies without any problem whatsoever.

Just my POV.

I've had it with China, been here 2 months and banged 10 different girls, EVERY ONE was a bad experience! Every time either got overcharged, ripped off, lied too (ok the lying thats normal I admit). Half the girls refused to do girl-on-top, what am I supposed to do, argue with them until they agree to do it? Half the girls were dry as a desert and uncomfortable to f*ck, so I bought sex oil lube but some still didn't want to use it. They are boring, unloving, run to the bathroom after you finish, and bolt out the door 3 minutes later once they're dressed. I'm in Chiang Mai Thailand now and it is 100 times better here!

Dear "China section" Members,

I'm a long term registered member, even if, to be honest, I have very little records in this (and other) sections, due mainly to the fact that usually I have girlfriends and not much to share with other members.

If you can forgive me for this, I would like to submit you the following question:

In the last times I've started to come to China for work but maybe next time I'll not have enough time to make a new visa in my home country and I've been told that I should go through Hong Kong and buy one there.
Could any of you who has some experience in this regard provide me with some updated info about where to go exactly, cost and time needed to receive the visa, and what kind of visa are available?

Thanks a lot for any help and suggestions.

Merry Xmas to all of you

I get my visa at the CTS office on the corner of Nathan Road and Peking Road, in Kowloon. It's on the second floor.

Go to the Chungking Mansions on Nathan Road. Inside the mansions there are many money changers, but count your money very carefully. Then go across the road and find Peking Road. The CTS office will be immediately on your left, upstairs.

Same day visa service costs extra.

What passport do you hold? I believe if you are holding an U.S. passport, there has been some restrictions on getting a Visa to China at the border. But I don't know about the details.

Provide your passport country and it would greatly help someone to provide you an answer on this board.

If you are a US citizen then you have to go to the Chinese government visa office (in Wanchai,,, I think) to get your visa.

Otherwise you can get one at almost any travel agent in HK.

I've been told hat buying a single entry Chinese touristic visa in HKG is very easy.

I would like instead to buy a multiple entry business visa, valid for 6 months or 1 year, without limitation for the maximum consecutive stay (ie. have the right to stay in China for 2 or 3 months without having to leave the country and re-enter it).

Do you have any idea whether this possibility exist, how much it cost and where to get it?

Hi All,

For US Passport, what is the maximum stay for a single entry for a tourist, student and a business visa? For a business visa, do you have to prove going to China for business like a business license. I could say I'm a student since I'm still taking classes.

I think a tourist visa is only good maximum for 30 days, would like some one to confirm. Would like to stay for about 40 days. Any suggestion on how someone can stay for about 40 days without getting another visa and having to get out of the country and getting re-enter. Will they grant a 40 day single entry visa?

Thanks

ThanksHi Weel,

Max stay on tourist ("L" visa)/biz ("F" visa) is 30 days for US passports (don't know about student passports). Tourist visas were always 30 days, but the biz visa restriction is new for 2004, and is a result of a tit-for-tat between the Chinese and US Govt's. In 2003, I got my one-year multi entry biz visa and could stay in China for the entire 365 days. When I went to go get my new biz visa two months ago, I could only get a six month multi-entry good for 30 days on each entry.

Supposedly, you can request an extension while you're in-country, but I don't know anyone that has done this. Alternatively, get a double-entry tourist and catch a plane somewhere :-)

Cheers,

BD

Hi Weelock, you can get up to 90 days for your tourist visa if you request it at the time. My parents are going to China for 64 days and was told they will be given a 90 days visa. But the time will start when they stamp the visa on the passport. By the way, we are using a U. S. passport. They said that all you need is to explain why you want a 90 day visa instead of the standard 30 day visa.

Thanks for your help!1. You can get a China visa from a number of travel agents in HK. Look in the "services" section of either of the two english daily newspapers. I usually go for the cheapest. Alternatively, you can go to a branch of the China Travel Service and pay a little more.

The China visa office in Wanchai is the cheapest place for tourist visas (the travel agents add surcharges to the visa office charges) but will issue biz visas only if you have the accompanying letters/paperwork from the proper companies involved in business. If you go to a travel agent, you just need your passport and cash for a biz visa.

2. Takes 3 days from time of submission. You can pay double and get it done in one day.

3. I hold a US passport, and my biz visa is good for six months and only for 30 days on each entry. This limitation is because of US-China politics and YMMV depending on which EU passport you hold. The Brits pay the same as US citizens, but can get a one-year multi. Other EU countries would be granted one-year multi's at lower costs (about 30% less) and longer stays upon entry.

Just out of curiosity, are your parents born in China? I have friends who were born in China but now have a foreign passport, they all get different visa treatment from people who are not born in China, ie longer visas.

S Weelock, just get a 30 day visa, you can extend it once (for 30 days) (maybe twice) in China at the Visa section of the PSB with no documents needed, cost is also low.

If you were born in HK, there's a way to apply for Hong Kong citizenship and get one of their ID cards. See: ttp://www.immd.gov.hk/ehtml/topical_3_1.htm

This also applies if your parent were born in HK or China. See this for quaifications: http://www.immd.gov.hk/ehtml/topical_3_9.htm

But in reading the above, China does not appear to recognize dual citizenship.

I have done some research into this issue. Because I was born in Hong Kong many years ago, I'm entitled to apply for a Hong Kong ID. THat would allow me to come and go as I please through China and not wait on the long foreign passport line.

But I thought about this. What if I got in trouble with the law here. I lose that special protection I have as a U.S. citizen. I would be treated as any other locals. Even if I was a U.S. citizen, the gov. can claim I came into the country as a local and they would be right. There would be no record of a visa issue to me.

Bottom line for me was to maintain my U.S. rights in a foreign country.

BillHi Bill,

I, and many of my friends, agree with you. I am entitled to a Hong Kong Permanent ID, after which I can apply for a "return home permit". (A return home permit is for holder's of a HK Permanent ID of Chinese descent and uses a barcode scan for entry/exit China immigration.) However, all of us would rather pay for a visa, line up at the border and enter on a US Passport so that we enter China as foreign nationals. One of my US friends with a Permanent HKID went so far as to: 1) NOT apply for a return home permit and 2) NOT apply for a 3-year multi entry China visa (granted to HK Permanent ID card holders) because he did not want to "stand out" in any manner--he continued to use 1-year multi's until China restricted us to 6-month multis.

Cheers,
BD

BTW, since Macao is an SAR (like HK) you enter on your passport like at HK immigration--no China visa required.

BD: what do you mean by because he doesn't want to "stand out" in any manner? Just curious.Hey Papadum,

If we enter China on 3-year multi's, Chinese immigration knows that we hold Permanent HKID cards (3-year multis are issued only to HK Permanent residents). As permanent HK residents of Chinese ethnicity (surnames and facail features) we are entitled to obtain home return permits. Thus, entering on a three-year multi makes it obvious that we have "shunned" the home return permit in favor of our trying to maintain foreign national status for our visits to China. When we enter on one-year (now six-month) multis, we are just another business visitor.

Entering China on a home return permit means that we would be entering as Chinese citizens subject only to Chinese law...if I am detained by LE for whatever reason, there goes my call to the consulate and the requirement that the consulate be informed of my detention.

Persons of non-Chinese ethnicity who are permanent HK residents are not entitled to the home return permit, so their entering China on a 3-year multi raises no eyebrows.

BD

You shouldn't worry at all about bringing DVD/CDs into China, unless you have porn or political crap (ie about certain cults) on them. Customs couldn't give a sht about your movies and music.

So when going through Customs, be cool, you will have no problems.

But remember that in China you can buy DVD movies and music very very cheaply, the worst that Customs will do is laugh.

quite frankly, customs officials in china would rather you not bother them with declarations. they would rather get back to drinking tea and picking their noses rather than check out your cd collection.

rather, it is your own country's customs officers looking for pirate dvd's and other fake or pirate goods from china that you will have to worry about.

My advice: Bring in as much money as you can afford to spend. You can use CC to pay for the hotels, but the fun stuff would be cash. What is your budget? Is your trip primarily for the place and experience or P4P? If P4P and quality, budget $200-300/day. If not $2000-3000 for P4P would be enough plus about $1500-2000 for the rest.

Please note that a lot of returning chinese from the US budget around $6000-$10,000 for a month of partying. Of course, it costs a lot because they have to treat their old friends too. And Karaoke KTV are too expensive and not good value for money (in terms of FS).

but i had bad experience in entering from shenzhen and to a less extend in guangzhou for a few times, at one time in shenzhen they seized my cds (well over 200, may be in their eyes i must be a smuggler.... i know, carrying 200cds is a bit too unuasual), but then again it was four years ago.....

You don't have to pay high prices in China. Use a guide book to find cheap hotels and places to eat. Use this forum to help you find quality girls at lower prices. Thank you Jackson!

Try Dongguan, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Xian etc. No need to spend too much time paying high prices in the big cities. Get your pus at the barbershops or hunt for freebies.

For those of you on tight budgets, know that it is easy to live cheaply and have fun in China.

One more thing is that no newspaper or magazines are allowed to bring in. If you really want to, put them in your bags instead of holding in hands.

Penny,

I think it's OK as long it's not any porn stuff like movies, magazines, DVD and it doesn't look like you are trying to sell them. About 20 disks and less is fine. If they think something funny, they will play your DVD or CD inside and you might pay a hufty fine but will not arrest you. No X-Rated Stuff.

I recently signed up for the Asia Friend Finder.com dating website. Found it to be very difficult and frustrating to navigate.

How many of you have had the same problems? Is this site of any use, or just a waste of time and money.

Any suggestions. I was hoping to line up some connections in preparation for my next China trip.

I read the reports about the fun you guys are having and I'm green with envy!

Are we talking about "(Asia) Adult Friend Finder" here? Forget about this scrap, it's only melking your money. Just hope you are so far still a regular and did not apply for gold or platinum.

My POV ...

I too have been member of Asia Friend Finder and my best success (relative term... has come from using Chat feature to then get their MSN id and continue chat. Have several ongoing prospects on the go as I write , but all seem to be looking for a husband.

Maybe also try :

www.linkstochina.com/dating

I did score a freebie via that site

or

Another site that I have been looking at lately is

www.dragonsurf.com

and also

chnlove.com

but have to pay to use chnlove so I just look.

My best advise is cruise dragonsurf.

Yes Asianfriendfinder is definitely out. It was a good site 3-4 years ago and I scored a lot from there. But no more now.

Try www.thatsbj.com's personal classified, free. And it works.

The That's BJ personals were moved to http://beijing.asiaxpat.com/.It's a great site for meeting freebies. Never fails to generate good responses and fair game. I usually post 3-4 weeks before a trip. Each time I meet some new ones and catch up with some old friends.
