Well, the intercourse part is basically about the same as in other countries. You know what "intercourse" is, don't you?

How to have sex in China ? So, your mother didn't explain you a few things ?
As for exchange rate, it is : give me the mobile phone number of your last chick, I will give you mine.

I have just noticed something that could count in some way as a kind of official recognition of prostitution in this country. In a medium size city of South China, I recently entered a large BBS in the local red light district. A kind of sex factory, where a douzen girls where available for pick up. The mamasan was busy giving them their last HIV free certificate, along with their ID card. Seems that the chicks are officially enlisted, at least by some health department, with their ID card logged, and checked on a regular basis. That seems to go with the new view of the Peking government to acknowledge the industry, so that it can deal with health matters, rather than only cracking down on a problem it knows it will never erradicate completely.
Has anyone seen more examples of this ?

Bob Builder
09-24-05, 05:39
They have an ID card as they are employees of a barber shop which is what the official business registration is, not brothel. As prostitution is still officially illegal, I don't think there is a Department of Fucking Affairs that is issuing HIV free certificates. It wold be more a marketing ploy.

I have been to a BBS where the mama say all the girls get regular shots. If there is nothing wrong with them WTF are they getting regular shots for?

Using the US dollar, I estimate my conversion this way:

For every 100RMB, I'm spending $12.50 US.
For every 1000RMB, I'm spending $125.00 US.

It's an approximation. But it gives you a quick guess on the conversion. This is based on 8.25 but I think the rate now is 8.11. Again it's something you can do in your head without a calculator.

So if someone says it's 300RM, I would 3 x 12.50 and get an approximation of $37.50 US.

BTW, the actual rate would be at the bank that you walk into to do the exchange. They vary slightly from bank to bank in China. Never do the exchange at the airport except for just enough for cab or bus fare.

Bill

I have never been to China before. This question goes out to some of the experienced Players in China; what is the going rate in dollars? Thanks members.

Bill Lee,

The exchange rate is fixed by the Bank of China every day here, so if you change in your (bigger) hotel or airport, its the same rate that day. The only way to get a better rate is if you change money with someone that needs USD, but this is risky unless you know what you are doing.

Or bring some US traveller checks, these can be cashed for RMB at a higher rate than cash.

Bill Lee
09-25-05, 01:58
Generally you pay an extra fee for traveller's cheque.

I have done blackmarket exchange. Not worth the trouble. You don't know if you're getting counterfeit RMB. The worst part is that the f*cking exchange guy was taking a minute each looking at my benjamins. And not that much more on the blackmarket.

BTW, I thought that hotels and other Chinese banks vary slightly like 8.11??. The ?? being the differences.

Bill

Bob builder, I was not believing what other people told me, as I saw it myself, and I am fluent in Chinese (including reading). They were not advirtizing it at all, I just happenned to enter the shop when they were dealing with it. I am not saying there is a department monitoring and authorizing prostitutes, just the contrary, an official from Yunnan recently declared on TV that although China was now dealing more practically with the problem, prostitution is illegal in this country. All I say is that they seem, at least in certain provinces (what I saw might be a local policy, which is why you are puzzled about it) have acknowledged the de facto situation and asked their health departments to try and monitor it. By the size of certain red light districts in some medium size cities, it is obvious that not only the local district police station allowes the business, but the mayor office is aware of it and does not oppose it. When you speak to the ''laobaixing'', they talk about ''tolerance areas''. Is that an acknowledgment of weakness from the police (mei banfa...), or a real tolerance policy, I don't know.
Also, I am not suggesting that these HIV free certificates are very secure, like often in China, it might just be a trick from some department to extort some fees from the BBS, but distributing some kind of certificate so that they can operate "legally" is still very different from sending the girls straight to a prison or fining them thousands of yuan.

Understood, but they don't happen to screen for other diseases and is that going to lower the amount of protection that you are going to take?

Just like the postings of another monger asking what are the common STDs in China? Isn't the protection for them all the same?

My question is to all of you, especially those who read chinese.

I have reported a few months back a story I read in the N Y Times. The chinese government gave a large financial commitment to stop the spread of HIV, as they did before with SARS. This will include opening hundreds of new health clinics over the next few years, starting with those provinces with the most cases of HIV-AIDS.

Have any of you heard about this? How will this new program effect prostitution? Will the ladies be required to carry healthcards? Is there a program to get mongers also tested? Are they cracking down on barbershops, etc?
Will there be a crackdown agaist prostitution generally? Who is carrying out this program? How much money is the government providing? How will it be spent? What is their game plan? Is there a website? And so on....

In short, how will this affect us? Appreciate any answers.

Yes, you get a slightly better rate for Traveller Checks but cashing them is a problem. I went to 2 different banks in Southern China, Canton, all of them said no. Then I went to two smaller subbranches of "Bank of China". They told me it can ONLY be cash at the the MAIN "Bank of China" at the Garden Hotel. Most of the damn tellers never seen a Traveller Check before.

It also goes with US ATM cards getting money. I also couldn't believe since I saw the logos for "STAR", "CIRRUS" at the smaller "Bank of China" ATM. I'm not sure about which logos. Then told me the ATM might take my card and NOT return it. There was NO way they could get it back. I still believe I could have gotten money at the smaller subbranch of "Bank of China" but the managers didn't know. I recall the max you can get is $1500RMB for each transaction and $3000RMB total for a day. I think you can request for more but it has to go before a teller. I think it's best NOT to travel with too much cash.

If you stay in China regularly or live there, you may open a bank account. You get the best rates if you open an account in the Bank and wire the money in from abroad. Tha Banks have a cash rate and a TT rate. This TT rate is sometimes even better than the black market. HSBC is a good choice, second BOC.

BOC has a very strange policy for changing foreign currencies to RMB: On Saturday / Sunday and chinese public holidays they always use the rate of the last Friday / working day. That sometimes gives very strange rates for non US$ currencies if abroad there is a fluctuation in rates on (only) chinese holidays.

Between HSBC Hong Kong and HSBC China wires take only several hours. And you can wire Foreign currencies back out of China (at least between HSBC own name accounts).

You can also open a local RMB bank account on your passport. A few things to consider before you go this route:

* Branches of a bank in one city may not have computer links to the banks' branches in other cities (branch integration is haphazard).
* You will be staying in China (or returning to China) to make this an efficient way to park your money safely.

I live in Hong Kong and have not had a problem withdrawing cash using HK or US (Plus) ATM cards in China.

YMMV.

Cheers,

In the last year that there has been a lot of money spent on aids education advertising, as you arrive in Kunming airport there is a poster suggesting that you use condoms to protect yourself from AIDS. There is also a lot of AIDS info and condoms in many of the hotels that I have stayed in, all in Yunnan. Perhaps Yunnan has more AIDS posters and radio ads than in other parts of China though.

It seems to me that the Chinese government is now very serious about pushing anti-AIDS education through the mass media.

The situation in large cities like BJ or SH could be much better. In BJ you can get as much as 5000Y/day from any ATM.

I’ll add my two cents for getting money into China
1) Carry in Cash. This is the best. Then exchange the cash at your hotel, banks or on the black market. Don’t do the black market unless you have a friend take you to a trusted place. These days the bank rates are better than the black market anyway. Bring in clean, new large denomination bills. Many business refuse to change old or marked on bills.
2) Use a credit card. Hotels, restaurants in hotels and some businesses take a credit card even for mongering activities. But for everyday purchases forget using a credit card. But your larger hotels will surely take a card. Visa and MC are more likely to be taken than AMEX
3) ATMs, I have had the best luck with Bank of China ATMs which take major US ATM cards. You can usually withdraw 2500RMB at a time. The exchange rate is good but your hometown bank may have significant extra charges so check.
4) You can wire money to a bank account you set up in China. You will need a passport and phone numbers and address to set this up. This varies according to the bank. Then you can wire money to your bank account. Don’t expect this to go smoothly. Getting the first transfer set up and deposited in your account is a major pain in the ass. But once you get it to work subsequent transfers will be fine. It takes about 4 days for a foreign money transfer to actually arrive at \your local china bank. This is best for larger amounts of money.

You will need a passport and phone numbers and address to set this up.Due to money laundering regulations you need a passport and an address in almost every Bank in the world. (And you need the passport already at the border.) But this address does not have to be in China and a mobile phone number will do.

Don’t expect this to go smoothlyI had no problems so far. It just takes time with the wrong banks. With Bank Of China in Shenzhen, Shanghai, BeiJing, a transfer from a European non HSBC Bank takes normally 2 days.

It takes about 4 days for a foreign money transfer to actually arrive at \your local china bank. With HSBC (The World's local Bank) Transfers from Hong Kong to China take max 1 day, sometimes arrive on the same day. The amount doesn't matter.

If you are a premier customer of HSBC, then there is even zero charge for the wire.

By the way, I was the most amazed that I wired money one day from HSBC HK to a non HSBC Bank in the US at 3:30 pm. They charged me a little more to effect the transfer on the same day, bacause I was after the cut off time. Then I checked online and found 4 hours later the money was already on the US account.

Change ONLY at banks or hotels. Ask for a good number of small bills. Give the money in a way that you don't get many notes in return, specially not with taxi driver. Check every single bill - the Chinese do it too, and they know why.

China has a major problem with fake banknotes and as a tourist you face a major risk getting some.

Another good way: open a bank account and the get the 3 clored 'Union Pay' debit card. Many ATM, hotels, shops and restaurants take them.

I have a general observation on prices and I was wondering if other people have similar experiences. I have noticed when I bargain hard on price and get a girl to come down a lot, she gives the worst performance. If I just accept her rate, or close to it, she will generally do a very good job. I'm at the point now where if I get quoted more than 800-1000 RMB I just walk off and don't even bother. Any opinions?

Walk in any bank (I suggest China Merchant Bank = CMB - they have online banking)
Ask for someone that speaks English (one person will at least)
Open an account

You get the Union Pay debit card on the spot.

1000 is on the high side in Beijing, and is certainly high for ladies from The Den. Russians and some mongoian girls sometimes start there, and the hotties at Maggies can get that rate, but chinese girls almost always will be happy as anything with 800. Quite a few members here get much lower prices than that, too. I'm just not that great of a bargainer.

But to your advice, in my opinion service should not drop going from 1000 to 800, but perhaps could if you go from 800 to 6 or 700 hundred. If you act a little bit - say something like "gee you are really pretty, but I am afraid I can only spend xxx tonight - sorry, maybe next time" - 9 times out of 10 she will accept. Or you can wait until later in the evening, when discounts start happening.

Lots of freelancers in town these days outside HRC and at Guo Mao that will start at 500 and go down from there.

I think you guys are correct. The max you can withdraw is 2500RMB at a time from a ATM, 5000RMB per day at Bank of China. I don't recall the exact amount. My point is problem getting the money. They told me smaller branches might NOT have a line (connection) to outside China. The ATM might take your card. Only the larger branches have connections to outside China. I don't know HOW true this is since several managers didn't know themselves.

I have successfully withdrawn money using a US bank's ATM card at many small towns in Guanxi, Shanghai, Guangdong, Yunan and Sichuan provinces. This only seems to work at ATM's for the Bank of China. Only had my card "eaten" once and that was in the USA. Sometimes the ATM screens are English sometimes Chinese. You should always have a plan "B" in case your card doesn't work.

Yes, they do have a homepage in English: http://english.cmbchina.com/ and can be easily access from anywhere.

But, to access your account you'll have to use the 'profession edition of Internet Banking system' or 'General Edition', which seems to be Chinese only.

With the Union Pay card you don't have to find a CMB ATM as most ATMs give access to Union Pay cards (for a small fee), incl. Bank of China.

I like to add that it's extremely difficult to make an account transfer with CMB. There are a few thinks you have to apply for if you plan to transfer online.

For online transfer HSBC is much better and easier. So it's best to have 2 accounts in China if you plan to transfer funds.

Sadly, nowadays a few online banks are nearly impossible to use coz of silly over the top security issues. CMB is one of them.

It's true. But using the ATM of the same bank can save you 2Y (yes, only $0.25, ^O^) service fee each time, and also avoid some 'trouble with the data linkage'.

Boss,

I've had similar experiences after bargaining, but certainly do not always receive good service when I agree to the price. This week in Shenzhen, I tried a different strategy with a SW. She asked for 200 RMB. I countered with 150 RMB. She said I would be happy with her service. I told her if I was "very happy" as she put it, I would pay 200, if not, only 150 RMB. She agreed. The service was great.

Having said that, I reckon that service is below average more than half of the time for me, hard bargaining or otherwise. IMHO, great service is found less than 10% of the time in my experience. I suppose this depends on each individual's perception of "great service". My bar is set pretty high. Basically, the closer to GFE, the better the service.

I've found that service is not relative to price. I've had my best BBBJCIM in China for 100 RMB and, a complete dead fuck for 1,500 RMB.

I've also noticed that service gets better with repeat sessions with the same girl or even different girls in the same establishment regardless of price. If a mama tells her girl to give you good service, the girl will usually obey.

Just my POV.

How does MSN compare? Any other hints?

Another really active site is QQ.com. But is there any English messenger software which can handle the QQ stream in English?

I will give QQ a try. A good starting point is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QQ

D/L the English QQ here: http://qq.bur.st/data/qq2004ii_eng.exe

A good detailed english instruction how to start and get an ID is here: http://qq.bur.st/

After you signed up and everything a good start page is: http://love.qq.com/

Gee! That is exiting!

OK, here is the catch: to sign up with QQ you have to enter a confirmation code from an image. The hard part is that this are 8 chinese characters.

I installed the NJ Star software to write Chinese, but so far no luck in getting it right.

QQ update: I tried to register 100 times today from the office - no success - got always different error messages. From home I got success the first time! Means you probably need a direct internet connection and you can not connect via a router.

PS: you can not work with character images, you need to be able to write Chinese to register.

Who can put some light on online chats. I like to give it a try.

I D/L the Yahoo messenger. But the English messenger does not connect to the China chat boards.

The Chinese Yahoo board is http://cn.chat.yahoo.com/ - and the english channel is http://cn.chat.yahoo.com/?room=E-Z%E9%81%9B%E8%8B%B1%E6%96%87::1600944441

PS: you can not work with character images, you need to be able to write Chinese to register.I have exactly the same problems using QQ. I can't register because of those chinese character which I do not understand. Furthermore there are always those error messages.

Regarding the Yahoo MEssenger I just use the english version to look how the chinese should work. I mean the layout is the same, so just compare. And after a while you will know how to use the chinese version. Buttons are at the same places.

Tried it in the Cyber Love room and the english speaking one. The problem is that the few people there are all from different places except Beijing where I work.

Those other sited like 163.com or sina.com are all in chinese. So I even can't find the entry to the chat.

You don't haver to understand them, just put them in the box. I can't read Chinese at all and managed to pass it on the first go!

Just make sure you read http://qq.bur.st a few times.

In the worst case, ask a chinese friend to get you a number. Mine was crocked on the first day and a gal I chatted with signed a new one for me in 30 seconds. Or check the link I up there, in the forum is a chine guy who offers help in getting a QQ number.

BTW, you screen name is not unique. Common names are often and you can change your name all the time. The number is unique.

And QQ does work! On my next trip to the big city I have already a place to stay. Thay of course does not imply sex. Of course not!

Guys,
Need some advice, why most woman on net want a commitment to marry them, without even knowing them. A married woman from Shanghai contacted me on Yahoo messanger, she is 32 Yrs old with a 8 year old son. She hates her husband wants to leave him because he beats her up. She is looking for someone to marry, so that she can divorce her husband. She was online with me for 1 hour on the webcam, she is cute, I only want to have sex with her, but will have to spend a lot of money to fly from Guangzhou & hotel, just to get some pussy, not even sure about that yet, may be 90% chances are good. Would it be good or bad decision to go with this plan or not? Need some serious advice how to handle the situation. Don't know if free pussy may turn out to be very expensive?

I have no sympathy for women who choose abusive husbands. They have passed over *many* normal men who would have offered them something better in terms of treatment even if for a little less income. At the risk of revisiting a topic that we've talked about before: There is a huge excess of men to women here. Something like 20%. Every woman should be able to have a man and some should be able to have two.

Have you considered another possibility? They (the husband and wife) may be on the same level. In some cosmic sense, people end up with the partner they deserve. If this woman passed over all these other men in China to pick that *one* (because she thought she was going to have a guaranteed income for the rest of her life) then she is getting exactly what she deserves.

Go Joe, Your title is whether it is safe. Based on my experience and "sickness" hanging out with married women, I can assure you it is safe as long as you do her according to your plan, i.e. your choice of a city nearby and in a international chain hotel, which provides better security. 90% of the chance you will get her to bed on the very first night, and I will guarantee you 100% on the second. You must be a loser if you can fuck her on the third.

Your content talks about cost. It is not free. First, you need airfare. Second, you need a more decent hotel with good security. Third, you need a dinner, followed by some beer in one of the local bars.

These women are usually more mature, wtih more mileage attached. I dont agree with the previous two posts, because i dont want to judge them. This board is for us to exchange information and experience. Mine is they can be fun with more GFE. It is not bad to eat meat and potato everyday (pros), but every now and then, we go to chinatown for a bowl of wonton soup (married women). This is the beauty of choice.

Don't judge me. I know I am sick.

Sometimes a woman will complain about being in an abusive relationship. I know that men in china beats their wives, gf etc.. more often than here in the US.

Sometimes, there maybe a reason. she maybe nagging or whatever.. maybe this is not political correct .. but "the b*tch deserves it "

Think about the cost, for a plane fare and hotel room for couple of nights, you could be banging your nuts off at CP, DG, Houjie etc.... many times over. Cute honeys are all over the country. Why go so far to be disappointed?

Just back from China (pictures to be posted very soon now...) and did not actually find the October 1st National feast much a problem for mongering. Compared to Chinese New year, business is quite as usual in BBS and elsewhere, no major crackdown. As I tend to think, the sex industry has now entered by degree into the normal life of this contry. Also, 10-1 is not a traditional feast where girls feel they have to travel back home, so they stay on duty. Also, as more and more high school students get extra money by working in KTV or BBS in the evening or during the week-ends, this one week holiday was an opporunity for them to work.
I have found more a problem the many domestic tourists and the noisy and cheecky kids who envade every hotels and restaurants during this week. Just for that, I will avoid this period next year.

Webmaster please !

China is a very big country, with names that can be difficult to handle for most of the readers here who are not Chinese speakers, understandably. Thus, the list of content is once more a bit confusing and a mixture of different catagories. Take a report about Zhuhai, some people would post it under the Guangzhou section because Zhuhai is in Guangdong province, if they have not seen that there is now a Zhuhai section. Some other would just put it in South China section, as they would think Zhuhai has nothing to do with Guangzhou.
My suggestion : let's get a bit tiddy here. Why don't you first classify by province name (example : Guangdong), then sub-classify with capital of province (Guangzhou/Canton), and other important places in this province (Shenzhen, Donguang, Zhuhai, Other)
If you need help I can help you.

I see a lot of sniping and bitching on the China Photo Gallery that to me seems childish and unwarranted. Go look at some of the other galleries and then compare the quality of the comments, photos and yes the quality of the ladies there. There is just no comparison to the China Gallery any where else.

Seems to me you guys are doing a great job and should appreciate what you have here compared to most other galleries!

First I would like to apologize for bringing up a NON-mongering question – but I really need you guises input.
Holding a Canadian passport but resident of Hong Kong, I have a 3 year multiple entry visa to China. Unfortunately though, every time I arrive/depart China, I get one more stamp on my passport which have now practically covered my whole passport/am running out of pages.
Last time I crossed Zhuhai, I happened to follow another Canadian passport holder who had a SEPARATE piece of paper that the PRC immigration used to put his stamp on - because his pasport was also getting full of these PRC stamps. This Canadian told me that he got this piece of paper from some PRC government department – NOT from Canada. Unfortunately, I didn’t really catch the proper name of the PRC government department/shop and have up to now not been able to buy one of these pieces of paper. Does anybody here know where I can get this?
Thanks for any help

What you mention sounds illegal to me - entry/exit stamps can only be put in authorized passport pages, and passports are the property of the issuing nation - not the passport holder. So China has no legal ability to issue an additional passport page. At least that is how it works for Americans and Australians.

Why don't you just go to your local Embassy and get more pages added ? I've done it a lot, my passport looks like a short novel; lots of members have.

In most cases the China Customs will not check your memory cards or laptop, unless you draw their attention to you, with weird behavior, eg. try to hide the cards from them.

If you are really paranoid about this, you may try to email the photos to yourself insead of bring the files with you.

Language learning is a girls domain. There will be no shortage of English typing girls you can chat too, and which are eager to chat too you.

Some have a poor command of English, so use simple language. Some use online translators, which can puzzle one and leaves no clue what they want to say. Most are quite young, early 20th will be the average.

On the after-online front, I did met a girl after a chat in SZ. A 23 year old virgin (she did kiss), 1.42m tall. Neither virgins nor really short girls are exactly my fetish. At least she is curious about sex and start to ask some questions which I answer in great details. It's online fun, but in no way anything I would get involved off-line with.

Got 2 more dates in GZ. #1 is really cool, but married. #1 is from Panyu and invited me to stay in her place. Well, I do worry abit about personal safety. I think I prefer to stay in a hotel and ask her to join me. She probably speaks no english at all and uses online translators all the time.

I have to admit, it's all part of the fun. But I think in the long run I will prefer the simple P4P way.

Chat Update: After you chat a few days you can easiely have 100 female contact. All like to chat with the foreigner. So be selective! Now I don't chat with girls which are out of reach, or in places where I will never go. Also, avoid girls below 25! There is a very high virgin possibility, which is absolutely not my fetish!

An online pornography and prostitution ring headed by siblings surnamed He has been discovered by Sichuan and Shanghai police.

The duo, along with eighteen other members of the gang, were jailed this past week and were accused of spreading pornographic information via the Internet in China. They started the business at the beginning of 2005.

The sister, He Xiaoying, was responsible for recruiting prostitutes in Shanghai who then paid an "information fee" to have their contact details posted on the website. Her brother He Juyou stayed in Sichuan employing nine web developers and marketers to solicit customers online.

Police say the gang had accumulated approximately one million yuan before they were identified. The case is being processed and judgements should be released by the end of the year.

The trio are currently investigating 1568 cases and 101 people have been arrested.

For the next step, local security departments will focus on policing online chatting rooms and punish website operators who are accomodating illegal chatroom activities.

The chick on this web page looks older than the 30 she claims. With all the movement of China's floating population, people easily fake ID cards and other documents so they fit the right age profile. Some women increase their age, if they are too young to get work and housing permits, some decrease their age to marry suckers from abroad.

If you haven't seen your girl for a while and her pussy is all stretched out, chances are she is fucking an African DJ.

The guy who wrote this seems like a complete rube, for one, even if the girl wasn't cheating on him, she is old and worn out and not worth the trouble.

For those who cannot open website, but simply must read it, here are some excerpts...

"Sex, and discos are her life. She was so smart that I was unable to detect any sign of she being involved in such things. However, I had detected something on the first night during sex, she could perform something that even Porn Stars may not be able to ..."

"Husband Boyfriend and a fiancé... She look so innocent in this photograph that anyone who doesn't know her will fall for her. She is so clever that she can play different roles as and when needed. She played her husband and had a boyfriend after..."

"Father teaches her to find a rich husband from Europe... She claims that her father had taught her to find a husband from Europe, America or Australia. He advised her to lie about almost everything and appear to be a traditional innocent Chinese girl until they are married to you and then..."

the following is from the new york times, october 25, 2005
op-ed contributor - the lap of luxury
by elisabeth eaves

paris

it's happened again. another innocent man who just wanted a few lap dances claims to have been victimized by an exclusive new york strip club, scores.

this time it's an executive from missouri named robert mccormick, who, treating himself and friends, ran up a $241,000 bill at scores on his corporate american express card two years ago. american express is now suing him for refusing to pay up. several other unhappy customers have also sued scores over large bills.

these don't seem to be cases of bill padding. american express sought signed receipts from the club before bringing its suit against mr. mccormick. in the most recent suit against scores, meanwhile, the plaintiff's justification is simply that he was drunk when he signed his bills.

nevertheless, the manhattan district attorney's office is investigating allegations of overcharging at scores. to which i say, as someone who has worked in strip clubs, you've got to be kidding - there's no such thing as "overcharging" in this industry.

does christian dior "overcharge" when it sells a handbag for $13,000? that depends on how you look at it. if you see the handbag as a few pieces of stitched leather, the price is grossly inflated. if you see it as a source of heady self-worth - a passport to an exclusive club - then it's hard to say what price would be too high.

this is the economic logic relied on by purveyors of luxury goods. it's not about the utility of the product. it's about making the customer feel as if he has arrived.

strip clubs, particularly high-end ones like scores, provide a luxury service. that $3,000 price tag on a bottle of champagne isn't just for the beverage; it's part of the price of the experience. mr. mccormick probably didn't go to scores strictly to see topless women, or even for the physical contact and potential sexual gratification of a lap dance. both experiences can be had in simpler, cheaper ways.

rather, he and his colleagues probably went because being surrounded by fawning, semi-naked, champagne-flute-wielding women was for them a symbol of success. it's like hiring a chauffeured limousine: a taxi would get you there, but without the aesthetic experience.

when i worked in a seattle peep show, i had a customer who told me his name was excalibur and quietly slipped me his poetry. part of my job, in that moment, was to make him feel like a knight of the round table. this required only a show of curiosity and respect. he must have found those things hard to come by in the real world, though, because he paid me well to help spin the illusion.

with many customers, fawning is key. what a stripper sells is not her ability to dance or take off her clothes, but her ability to suspend the customer's disbelief.

if she is doing her job right, his bald spot and his mortgage cease to exist, and he enters an adolescent fantasy of sexual prowess, temporarily transformed into james bond, han solo and hugh hefner all rolled into one. the dancers keep cooing and flattering until the money runs out. it's not duplicitous; it's what the patron signs up for.

i have little sympathy for these carping customers. their complaints are the height of boorishness. it's acceptable to indulge your james bond fantasies, but it's not acceptable, when the bill comes due, to remain convinced that you're james bond. the dancers weren't in it for kicks.

among strippers i worked with, the most dreaded customers were not the obese or the lame. rather, we feared customers who thought they were exceptions to the rule. they were just handsome enough, or successful enough, to foolishly think that their own sex appeal was tip enough.

it's just this kind of guy who would backpedal on a strip club bill and go crying to the courts that he was hustled. well, sure, the dancers hustled mr. mccormick, but no more so than the occasional mercedes dealer. buyer's remorse is not an occasion to stiff the seller.

so, gentlemen, pay the bill. a reasonably priced lap dance is not a right.

It depends on the hotel. But if it were me like you, I would duck getting a girl from a hotel, as they tend to be overpriced.

I even talked to a papasan at one barbershop that was right next door to a hotel and he told me that if I came in and got one of his girls that he would charge me RMB 300 for overnight. But if I asked for a girl in a hotel, he would charge 800RMB and give the girl the same amount that she got from him in the first case and just pocket the difference.

If you are in a hotel, barbershops should not be too far from where you are. Just ask a taxi driver and he'll take you right to them.

Is there really no useful information hidden in maichun.org ? We should be harvesting it and translating it to English. Actually -- I cannot inspect the innards of the site, as the only way to get in is to be invited by someone who is already in. Being the mongers that you are, I think for sure that at least one of you have gotten in being invited by a Chinese friend monger, yea ? IF SO, Please lend a fellow a hand and invite me in as well. It looks like a good site, and UNLIKE this site, it is indeed one the govt. wants to keep blocked.

If not informative, I hope you find this story to be funny.

I was walking around Beijing yesterday with pussy on my mind, so I searched a few back streets hoping to find a pretty one. No such luck, the barbershop girls in this town are usually of low quality. I stuck my head in a shop and an ugy one offered full service at a low price. What the fuck! Am I a man or a mouse? I'll screw her!

So I go with this gal into the back room. I get it up and in, but I just couldn't finish. Damn! Kept thinking about how frigging ugly she is. Shit! So I put my red knickers back on, throw her the money and bolted for the exit.

Mouse I guess!

Moody - pretty good actually, if you can get the right tones. Small corrections, but if they work for you that's all that matters

Don't lick my balls.
Bu tian wode dan.

-- why would I want to say don't lick my balls ? anyway, that phrase can also mean don't lick my pubic regions, so you may want to use another word for balls like gao (1)wan (2), if you want the sweetie to lick your stick and toss your salad but not lick the jewels

if you want to ask for FS, many ways - I'd just say "women keyi bu keyi xing (4) jiao (1) ma ? it means can we or can we not have sex. "keyi" sounds like "kuh-yee", sort of. If you are in southern china where the dialect is different many times, I'd just go with the hand signalling method.

btw I learned the word for fu@% just by going to my Oxford English-Chinese Dictionary and looking up "fuck" - always nice when the academic community does it's part to help us mongers. I just wish they had an entry for the verb facial

Actually "Xing Jiao" means "sexual intercourse", which is correct but too formal for the girls. You can just use "Zuo Ai" instead, which means exactly "make love".

The madarin for FS in a sauna or BBS will be "Quan Tao (full set, full package)", but if your tone are not correct, it sounds like "trap", which also make sense in some cases. ^o^

Please take off your clothes? - Ba Yi Fu Tuo Le Ba (gently) or Tuo Yi Fu (demanding)

For the "don't lick my balls" thing, yeah, it should be "bie." For the record, I don't like having my balls licked, more pain than pleasure for me.

The problem with Chinese is that they're usually not very direct. You're talking about a language that says, "play the flute," or "kiss my little brother" instead of "suck my dick." They really don't say things like, "I want to fuck you." For instance, if you find a girl and say something like, "come home with me." They'll assume you want to want to fuck them.

Referring to "zuo ai," nobody really says that to a hooker. Even in English, nobody says, "make love," to a hooker. That said, if you say something like, "Wo xiang gao ni," (I want to do you) that should get the job done. Don't be surprised though, if they're a little shocked at hearing that. Chances are, they've never heard someone say that to them. Like I said, nobody speaks directly about this kind of stuff.

Some other stuff they may have never heard, but will understand.

I want to do your ass.
Wo xiang gao nide pigu.

I want to kiss your pussy (DATY).

I think the term for licking pussy is "tian ni de meimei". :-) and as I said before, if you fake that you are choking on their pubes, you can most of the time, get them to shave for you.... just like the women from back home. :-)

mab,

i agree if you can't find someone in china to suck your dick, there is something wrong with you. however, it has become more difficult, compared to a few years ago. now, girls are found inside ktvs, saunas and bars. bbs are disappearing in an alarming speed, particularly in big cities. sw definitely are rip-offs. overall, compensation is going up. it is not cheap anymore.

the only exception is dongguan, where you have a pulse and some greenbacks, you find men, woman or bisexuals to suit your taste.

Boss. Maybe we are not talking about the same book. Outrageous Chinese is a small paperback and has very little in it that is useful. It is 98% in english, has very few useful phrases and is not worth more than $5 max. This business of claiming the book is "out of print but available for $59" is, I think, a scam.

The book Making Out in Chinese is useful and is priced ok at $8, but could be a lot better.

- fire and ice : bj/cbj with alternately hot and cold water in the mouth. defintely a fine introduction to the local specialty
- lone dragon/poison dragon : rimming
- chest push/ball push : russian
- mouth explosion : bjwcim; bjwscims
- face/color shot : facial
- double bath - self explanatory
- wandering around/ants up the tree : tongue bath; variation of this is with mouthful of water and makes a constant gurgling sound
- desert strom : bj and rimming with jelly candy in the mouth
- two dragon play the pearl : holding a fruit (grape, cheery, strawberry) in mouth and tonge/push up dick/anus
- sword through the heart : suck/lick anus with ice or milk
- love of crystal : insert/play with a fruit jelly inside and have sex
- blue ice : rimiming with mouthwash (ouch!)
- flying man in air : sit on the dick and turn around
- lunchbox on the train : do it standing up
that's my collection; additions welcomed

For those of you who want to start learning chinese try, Beginning Chinese by John DeFrancis. It is a 550 page fine print university textbook with 44 hours of audio casettes. The book is 30 years old and really IS out of print. You may find a copy at Amazon, but it will not include the casettes. Try your local library for the casettes and make your own copies. Unfortunately, much of the dialog is old fashioned and overly polite. Of course, no sexual dialog.

11-28-05, 16:25
Firstly, like many others said, considering these girls work so "closely" with so many people for over 10 hours a day, it's not surprising that a high number of them got sicked more often than the average office girls.

Secondly, we have to remember that most of the cities where we mongered and met these girls are in the most urbanized, industrialized and polluted area in China: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Haerbin, Shenyang... etc. The pollution does have an effect on people's respiratory system and hence leads to more coughing, congestion and nasal allergy. So when you see some of the people in these cities cough and split, it doesn't neccessary mean that they are sick. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean that what they are doing (coughing in people's face, spliting on the street, etc.) is right. It's just that they are so used to this way of getting the pollutant out of their system.

Honestly, having lived in the first 3 of my list of cities above in the last 5 years, I do find myself too have something in my throat from time to time when I'm in China. Yet once I've left China for a vacation, it's gone!

I ask because so many seem to have colds, and few ever cover their mouths when they cough. Do they cough on you during sessions if they're sick? Am I being overly germophobic?

Only twentyfive years ago, tissue paper was very difficult to find in China. The streets of Shanghai had many "spittoons" or spit buckets. I know because I was there.

There is a famous (or infamous) picture of Deng XiaoPing sitting next to Margaret Thatcher with a spittoon between them. Old habits take time to eradicate. Not so long ago, the same was true of New York and London.

Most infections are passed by hand to mouth, so wash your hands often.

Yesterday, while walking with a girlfriend on the busy streets of Wuhan, a very young lady tried to sell me roses. The girl would not take NO for answer and she pissed me off. I told her to go away and she kept pulling at my sleeve. While she distracted me, her young male partner, the Wuhan Artful Dodger, tried to pick my pocket. The trick did not work this time and they quickly slipped into the crowd.

Beware of children or adults selling roses!

About children selling roses and other scams,
Most beggars are pro's, working for the local gang. They will get none or little of the money you give them.

In some cases, you will run into an authentic beggar. How to distinguish the scammer from the legitimate? I don't know. My local Chinese friends can tell - but I doubt I will know the landscape well enough anytime soon.

As a general rule - keep valuables well guarded anytime you are near strangers.
Westerners are rich targets.
This usually works for me: Don't make eye contact, never acknowledge them, never accept anything they give you, do not let them touch you.

there was a show on cctv12 last night about a gang of 20 plus kids, all under 16 (youngest 8) that were run by three adults, all they did was pickpocket people as they crossed a busy road in hohot. the kids were all taken from xinjiang, the gang leader told their parents that they could find jobs for them in east of china, but as soon as they were out of town the kids were forced to act as thiefs, they even had a daily quota (50rmb) to steal a day. if the kids didnt meet the quota then they were beaten and not fed that day.

it is very difficult for the police to do anything about this type of crime, unless they can catch the adults, as the kids are **** they cant be arrested or charged.

this type of gang also operates kids to beg/sell flowers/steal all over china. the absolutly worst thing you can do is give these kids money. like any business, no income = close business = kids are let go.

Believe me, the police can do something about it, they "won't" is the word.

When did the police in China start following the law? They ARE the law! I heard one city got fed up with these kind of kids, the police just cleaned it up, don't know where the kids went, but they are not there anymore, nor did new ones showed up after the clean up.

Hi all, Just got back from a trip to china and found some info on pricing. I don't know how valid this is as it came from a "big sister." This info is for major cities.

Beijing, Shanghai, and other major cities with a lot foreigners: In room full services start about 300-500. This is one where they send the girl to your hotel room and you can send them back if you don't like her. Overnight is usually around 1500. This is all for first timers. If you treat the girl right, they would give you their number and may be you'll get a frequent visitor discount.

Major Hotel massage girls with full service: 1100-1500. Decent massage and then they will ask if you want "special services" or "entire set" usually in putonghua. Good indicators of whether there are special services available are "how many lights in the massage room are on?" What they usually do is switch one light one for the massage and if you they offer and you accept special services they switch off the first light and turn on the second, usually on the opposite side of the room. Some even offer overnight services, but it's pricy, 2.5-3.5k

Ktv with takeout: Overnight is usually around 1500. Got this from one of the sales guys I work with. Entertainment is part of the business over there.

Happy hunting Gents.

The first time I was being hassled, I was feeling sorry for the kids, as I didn't know better. I gave them 5rmb, but more kids came, and I ended up give like 50rmb. But I found out later that they cut open the zipped pockets on my cargo pants and took 1000rmb from me. It was an expensive lesson learned. I was also told that most of these kids/gangs are from Xinjiang. Be careful if you see kids begging and/or selling flowers, but try not to hurt them. They are being forced into this.

I'm intending on visiting Asia next year, mostly to satisfy my asian itch. I intend to either make or break my fascination with Asian women. I must admit that I don't have any real idea of where to go though. I'd like to do the tourist thing, since I'll never have enough money to do a purely sexual holiday.

So I was thinking about China since from what I've heard its probably the best quality for price in Asia. I've skimmed through many of the reports here, and in the other asian forums (Hong Kong, Japan etc), and China probably appeals to me the most. But you guys are the experts since you're living out there either full time or visiting fairly regularly.

I went to Moscow two weeks ago, and the moscow forum was a great help in my research. However, Moscow is just one city, whereas Asia is huge. lol.

So where do You think I should go? Either within China or another country entirely (I couldn't find a General thread for all of asia)

I love the slim, dark haired look that you see with Vietnamese women, but at the same time, I like the facial characteristics of Chinese women. I also really like the Japanese female look (when they're slim and in their teens) I'll freely admit that I don't know that much about Asian people/Women.

I'll have about 1000-1500 Euro spending money, although I'd prefer not to spend that much. I'm also planning on the holiday being 8-10 days in length. I only speak English, some German, and a bit of Russian.

Any advice would be handy either here or in PM's.

Thanks. Cormac

You shouldn't need even 2K Euro for a ten day adventure in China. If you were in the states, I'd recommend the Friendly Planet Beijing & Shanghai Express, a flight/hotel package for about $800-$900 including international flight, hotel, breakfast, and internal flights from Beijing to Shanghai and back. I've been to China 4 times in the last couple of years doing this, and each time the package price just blows away the best prices I can find by buying air tickets and hotel.

Try to find a package tour that just includes flight and hotel, then you are free to explore Beijing on your own...you don't need to worry about the language thing, just bring a good traveler's phrasebook and your sense of adventure! Make sure the prhasebook has a mandarin-to-English section, so Chinese people can use it to talk to you! You will find China to be modern, the people straitforward and friendly; in addition, you will get the lao wei bonus: just being a westerner makes you somewhat exotic and fascinating to meet for many people. I've always met girls in Starbucks, parks, etc. and they were not looking for money!

Another big plus is that most Chinese girls do not have the idea that sex is sinful, so they really don't think of themselves as a "bad girl" by having sex with you without being married. Since you are a short-timer in China, they know that you don't have time for a big courtship ritual even if they wanted such a thing...Enjoy, my friend!

Cormac,
Since you posted this question here, I will beg the indulgence of our China Posters/Readers for my reply. If you have no idea of what to do in Asia except 8-10 tourist holiday with some asian women thrown in for your budget of E1500 (US$1750), I would recommend the Philippines as a first time visit, mainly due to the fact that more filipinas will be able to speak english. Your budget would be US$175/day. Allocate US$40 for hotel, US$20 for food, US$10 for taxi, and you have US$100/day for women.

If this is your first Asian experience, my suggestion is either Philippines or LOS (that's Thailand)... Go to both forums, read the FAQ and reports of distinction to get a feel for hotels, monger options, safety, etc. etc.

If you then have specific questions, post them on the appropriate forum. Good luck!

All of your messages got me thinking about the various run-ins I've had with the little buggers over the years. A few actually interesting experiences but of course, mostly very, very annoying to bad.

I remember one time when some colleagues and I were new to China and of course not knowing any better, gave a couple of mao to some kids, the bleeding hearts that we are. Well in a flash several kids come out of nowhere and literally attached themselves to every appendage of my friends (I was the only Asian so they must of thought I was a native). Well, my friends were shocked and obviously, not knowing the culture and scared that if they hit the kids or were violent, the natives would get upset and gang up on them, they basically tried in vain to shake them off.

All of a sudden this women comes flying out of one of the stores with a really large stick and just starts bashing the living daylights out of them until they let go and run away. We were just shocked but she gave us this look like, "That's the way you deal with THAT". It was one of our more memorable lessons on the culture.

Anyways, I was thinking that while I've seen these kids in every city I've travelled to and worked in, it just occurred to me that I've never once seen them in Qingdao. I've been around this area for over two years now and the closest thing I've seen to it was this sad, pathetic little thing trying to sell flowers outside the Feelings nightclub. I'm not dumb enough to think that it doesn't exist here in some form but dare I say, could QD actually be a relatively safe haven from the roaming gangs of maleovent children?

Juno Audio
12-04-05, 00:25
Don't be too surprised, they do exist in China. It's really up to the local police if they want to tolerate this kind of activities, or if they are getting their part of the pay off. Believe it or not, this "children bagger" thing is operated much like the prostitution ring in China, it is well networked and organized, and authorities are getting their cut. While the girls in prostitution is close to 30 to 40% involuntary (my opinion from my own research), the street beggars are 99% tricked into the business, if not a 100%. I mean what parents would knowingly let their children follow someone to the big city for the purpose of begging? Or the kids just got tired of working in the factories, so they want to try selling flowers and stealing instead. These kids get beat if they don't make 50RMB a day! Sometimes the punishment is withholding food! (again, this is my opinion from my own research)

Like anything else in China, the authorities will turn a blind eye to it if they are getting paid off. Learn to live with it, and know how to protect yourself, friends.

S Times,

Price in China is "regulated" by the operators/gangs/police and the supply and demand. Though nobody has the exact price, but for non-Chinese including aliens and overseas Chinese BBS is about 150 to 250, SW 150 to 400, massage (tei fei and tipes) about 700, KTV usually 2-6-10. Anything more than these can be ripoffs.

Of course, in some high end places in Shanghai and Beijing, they can charge you 2 to 3K per night, but you can find similar services much cheaper than that.

In Dongguan, the sex capital in China (or the world?), BBS is 150 to 200, massage about 500 and KTV 1-2-5 (some 2-5-8).

Don't tell me you can pay more for better service. Whether you find better service always depends how much information you have. That's why this site is so valuable.

I don't recall Core2000 saying he was coming to the other side of the world and needed to find the cheapest sex he could possibly find. To someone who hasn't been to China, or even Asia before, both Beijing and Shanghai are logical places to go - these are 2 of the most exciting and vibrant cities on the planet. And compared to prices in America or Europe, it's still quite a bargain to monger in those places.

If cost is the only consideration, Dongguan is the destination. For a good combination of cheap sex and traveling, my first pick is Yunan. Trust me, Yunan is the best for non-Chinese speaking aliens.

If BJ or SH, a newbie will need USD 180 a day for a 3 star hotel, decent food and "cheap" BBS or SW sex, but in Yunan you can get by with 80.

No to be honest, I'm going for the experience of it all. The mongering is a major influence, since I want to pop my asian cherry is a good way. So while I have the money there, I'll be careful with it. Yunan & Dongguan sound interesting, and I'm going to spend some time researching about them.

I've been looking through the posts made by the many mongers in China, and believe me they've been a great help for me to understand some of the differences over there. However, Its also highlighted how naive I am. Sure I've partook of the mongering in Western Europe and Russia, but thats rather conventional (standard sex) and rarely does it involve new techniques/practices.

However, most of the posts about China involve some reference to massage (whether foot or other), actual sex, or more teasing styles. I was wondering if someone could list out the various types of massage, their rough cost, what it entails, and generally what sexual relief comes from it? Not too explicit, but when someone mentions a foot massage, I think of a foot massage from the West (which is not sexual by any means). I think there's alot of variation wherby you could enter expecting something vaguely sexual, and leave after receiving a totally "normal" non-sexual massage. I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself well enough, lol.

Also are the more extreme techniques (electricity, cold etc) common or just something you might be suprised with? Are these techniques that the average chinese man avails of, or are they tourist/ex-pat gimmics?

I suppose I'm asking is that when visiting a massage location, what services should a beginner try out for almost guaranteed satisfaction? lol.

Time Magazine lead article last week. Mao is rolling in his grave.

Sex, Please--We're Young and Chinese

A generation after Mao suits, China is coping with an epidemic of free love
By HANNAH BEECH

Posted Monday, Dec. 05, 2005

Li Li has lost exact count of how many men she has bedded, but she knows the number is far above 100. "I don't keep statistics, " says the former journalist, 27. But she isn't averse to kissing and telling. For the past couple of years, Li has kept a blog--written under the pen name Muzi Mei--that has chronicled everything from her penchant for orgies and Internet dating to her skepticism toward marriage when it means staying faithful to one man. This fall the Beijing resident posted a recording of her own lovemaking sounds that would make Paris Hilton blush. More than 50, 000 people simultaneously tried to download the 25-minute podcast, crashing the host server. Despite government attempts to censor it, the sex diary is so popular that Li's pen name is intermittently the most searched keyword on China's top search engine. "I express my freedom through sex, " says Li, unapologetically. "It's my life, and I can do what I want. "

Freedom in the bedroom is a novel concept in China, where for decades communist minders dictated most aspects of people's private lives. Dressed in baggy Mao suits--hardly outfits to set the pulse racing--citizens of the People's Republic had to ask permission from local officials on everything from whom to marry to what kind of birth control to use. But these days many Chinese are walking on the wilder side. Sparked by the easing of government control over individual lifestyle choices and the spread of more permissive, Western attitudes toward sex, Chinese are copulating earlier, more often and with more partners than ever before. Today 70% of Beijing residents say they have had sexual relations before marriage, compared with just 15. 5% in 1989, according to Li Yinhe, a sociologist at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. A survey taken last January of seven major Chinese cities found that among those 14 to 20, the average age of first sexual experience was 17. 4, while those 31 to 40 had lost their virginity much later, at 24. 1 years old. Says Fu Zhen, 28, a teacher in Shanghai: "My parents' only entertainment came from revolutionary movies, so they were very conservative about sex. My generation, we see everything from everywhere, and we are hungry for new experiences. " As if to underline the point, Fu has adopted the nickname Carrie--as in Bradshaw, of Sex and the City.

All this hanky-panky is spawning new industries. Lingerie boutiques are proliferating in the big cities, and last month's Sex Culture Festival in the southern city of Guangzhou attracted more than 50, 000 people eager to procure the very latest in adult toys--70% of which are now manufactured in China. One of the most popular? The "erotic butterfly, " specially designed for women.

But China's sexual revolution has also brought unpleasant side effects. Although sex education is supposedly mandatory in Chinese middle schools, "many older teachers are too embarrassed, so they tear out the pages about sex from the textbooks, " says Hu Peicheng, secretary-general of the China Sexology Association in Beijing. With little knowledge of birth control, an increasing number of unmarried women are getting pregnant in a culture in which single motherhood is still taboo. A survey by Shanghai medical researcher Yan Fengting found that 65% of urban women undergoing abortions in 2004 were single, compared with just 25% in 1999. Rates of sexually transmitted diseases are skyrocketing too, with HIV infections growing most quickly among Chinese 15 to 24 years old. Brothels barely disguised as beauty salons crowd the streets of China's big cities, while certain suburbs are known as "concubine villages" because of their high concentration of mistresses.

Those extra temptations--which the communists largely eradicated after taking power in 1949--have wreaked havoc on marriages, with 1. 6 million Chinese couples divorcing in 2004, a 21% rise from the year before, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs. "Before in society, we had a sense of right and wrong, " says the China Sexology Association's Hu. "Now, we can do whatever we want. But do we have any moral standards left? "

Younger Chinese aren't too concerned. A poll by a Beijing magazine found that one-third of Chinese under the age of 26 had no problem with extramarital affairs. In a country where there's little political autonomy for young people, at least there's plenty of free love. "Maybe in the past, everyone was obedient and listened to the old grannies who lectured on who you could have sex with and in what position, " says blogger Li. "But we don't have time to listen. We're too busy having sex. "

I know you are an advocate of Beijing having been there for quite some time. For qualifications purposes, I have lived in Beijing, Shanghai, Guanghzhou and Shenzhen and have mongered in many more Chinese cities, towns and villages.

The purpose of this forum is to exchange information for the purpose of having sex with women, therefore, I assumed that his query was related to pussy. I may differ in opinion on your "vibrant city" theory, however, this is not the forum to debate that issue.

IMHO, S. China, especially DG, is the best mongering destination in China in terms quality, variety, service, options, value, etc. Although, Beijing may be best for sightseeing and Shanghai as a place for foreigners to live, they are not mongering destinations per se.

Having said all that, I would still recommend Thailand or The Philippines for a newbie to break into the Asia P4P scene. English is more widely spoken and the girls are more foreigner friendly.

Just my POV.

OAH

I don't recall Core2000 saying he was coming to the other side of the world and needed to find the cheapest sex he could possibly find. To someone who hasn't been to China, or even Asia before, both Beijing and Shanghai are logical places to go - these are 2 of the most exciting and vibrant cities on the planet. And compared to prices in America or Europe, it's still quite a bargain to monger in those places.

Why do you guys want to rain on his parade ? cripes

Right on - I understand your points. Mine simply was that he had made a choice, and after he posted his choice, others piped in on why another place was better or cheaper. After he decided, in my opinion, it was a waste of time to sugggest he re-consider.

As for a first timer to China, I'll stick by my thoughts that Shanghai or Beijing are the natural choices.

You've got me beat on places lived - I've only lived in Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Tokyo, and Beijing.

Anyway, this is a non-issue

Does anyone know if absinthe is easily available in China? A search of this forum revealed nothing. Neither did google.

I've never tried absinthe, but I understand it can get people (e.g. freebies) in the mood.

If anyone can tell me where to get absinthe around here, particularly in Shanghai, I would much appreciate it.

Not sure about China but I tried it on my last TW trip in a regular bar (New York New York). Two glasses didn't do much for me. I was told you have to have 4 or so before you feel the effect (other than the alcohol). It has a very very strong Anise taste so you or your date needs to be able to handle that.

Hope this helps a little :-)

Cheers!

this is China - of course it can be found. I've seen it 3 or 4 times are year at bars that will have absinthe parties. But I haven't seen it at the retail level. I've tried it a few times in Europe - I don't know what the big deal is - a lot of it's appeal is based in myth. I didn't hallucinate or become an artist or anything. It kind of looks like Green River (an american soft drink) - it's a really bright green.

With fake and bootleg booze being such a big problem here, I'd advise EXTREME caution - much safer to ask a friend in Europe to bring a bottle for you. Because many automobile antifreezes have a green color to them, the unscrupulous could cut the real thing with the antifreeze; then you'd have a dead person on your hands. Lotta shady characters in the unregulated liquor industry in China.

I've never heard of absinthe being an aphrodisiac - more like a thc reefer high, but only a little. It's booze.

CountI have seen it in bars in Shanghai, at least some green drinks claimed to have the content of wormwood, - an argument for a special price!

I know it from my grandmother: she used it as a medicine for almost all sicknesses in a big family.

The research shows no specific effects beside the high content of alcohol.

Wormwood as the substance which should create some special feelings failed in the studies to do so.

Dont worry about the communication barrier in China. You are always welcome to visit China eventhough you cant speak Chinese. You will rarely find English spoken people in many places, but just learn a few words like 'nin hao' (means How are u?), xie xie (means Thank you), wo ai ni (means I Love u) you will be pleased by the Chinese.

Welcome to the orient!

Been asking the below question on many boards - and it was Cebu Local of our ISG board who gave me the lead. Many thanks Cebu Local.
/////////

I've used Cebu Locals' lead and found out that basically one gets this piece of paper when crossing over to Zhuhai from Macau (as so many Macau residents travel into Zhuhai multiple times). When crossing, I would need to go to the 2nd floor and obtain this paper from the immigration/visa office there. The fone number where I got this information from is 86-756-815-6512 (I finally got this number after calling 6 different numbers - incredible!!).
Unfortunately, I've been quite busy these days and not yet able to go to Macau - and then cross over the Zhuhai just to get this paper YET. Wondering if anybody here knows anything more about this matter/can advise how correct my info is? Also, as far as I know, I can then use this paper not only in Zhuhai, but also at other border crossings into China
Many thanks

From the bits and pieces I've put together, it seems the southern Chinese are less hairy and that parts of Guangdong and Yunnan provinces might hold promise, though I've never been able to narrow it down further.

I had the same problem in China. Some internet cafe block specific sites like X-Rated, 141, 161, sammy, and WSG. I don't believe you can get around this with the cafe's computer. If it's you own computer you can, when accessing the internet in your hotel. I recall somebody posted information about using a different proxy or something on your own computer.

From what I have been reading, it sounds like the "Annual Chinese New Year" crack down has started in some areas. ( It's Year of the Dog and January 29, 2006 is the first day of the New Year ). Roofff, roffff, has any slept with any dogs. Then, be careful, there's usually an increase in petty crime during this time.

That paper is 104 x 152mm and has 8 chop spaces on each side. There are a few different, but vaguely similar papers. You find a good one below.

Just use MS Word and a laser printer and print your own. Use a low quality ivory paper to make it use more authentic.

The trick is to get the first chop. After that it's OK and others will follow.

...and possibly shoot, quartered and minced.

But that paper is not a document. It's just a simple paper. You can just use it as you please. Whether people chop on it or not depends on them. Some do, some don't.

But don't use it when you passport is already full. You risk that they don't chop on it - and you will be refused entry.

You can start using it on a half full passport. Once the first chop is in it's easier to get more. And leave the papers in when you aplly a new visa - specially if your last chop is on that paper.

For people which have some time to spend chat rooms are really a good soucing ground. It can take some time. After some time you get an feeling who may, or may not is layable.

I suggest to go with the truth. If you are married, say so. It will not have a big impact on your chances.

My GZ friend probably was a virgin. Sex was new to her (if I can really that story) - but she got really fast into it and enjoys it more then me know. She went from total darkness only to some extra masturbation in a short period of time.

But there is a nasty side effect: I have been a few times asked for money. She wants a few 1000 RMB to continue her education. During a stroll in the city she also had a look into a phone shop, selected a nice new cell phone - and had a deep a look into my eyes. But sorry.......

So, be prepared from the chat fall out.....

Maybe usefull to some...

I put this also up the photosection, but I believe it's worth to be promoted a bit more.

Those into freeby action may find this information very valuable one day.

China has people which throw themself in front of cars to get money, and I am sure there are a good number of girls which want to get pregant for the same reason. Money.

If you have an condom accident, or grave doubt that you may got the girl pregnant, read on....

In China you can buy the "Morning After Pill". It's a high hormon dose which works best up to 72 hours after intercourse, and has some effect up to 120 hours after.

Some packages have 2 half dose pills, some work with one pill. The pill is very small and oval shape. It can be easily put into some food items and get consumed unnoticed. The 1-pill pack is RMB10 - 15, the 2-pill pack is a bit cheaper.

It's available in any pill shop over the counter. There are a few different brands, but the active substance is probably the same.

Whynot0203
01-17-06, 03:51
I do not know about the one with 1 pill.

The 2 pills packet works well for my freebie. Once duing a hot session with my freebie she says it's ok with rubber and I went for it but later I got cold feet and asked her to get the pills. She bought the 2 pill packet.

The first pill must be taken within 24 hours of depositing your sperm into her and the second pill 12 hours after the first. In between this 36 hours you can continue without rubber.

Me thinks that most mongers here would be like the driver of the car that hits someone in China....Long gone!

And if the girl deliberately got pregnant, how are you going to force her to take the pill as you will only find out much later? Or are you suggesting feeding one of these to every gal after every session?

I don't know about the stomach ache, etc., but I do know that the morning after pill can make her menstrual cycle go haywire. A gf of mine took the pill last year and it knocked her next period loose almost right away, about 10 days ahead of schedule. So many girls are understandably hesistant to use the pill. I think the pill is ok for an emergency, but it's not a good idea to rely on it on a regular basis.

take this as a warning to all!

i met a gal in a chat room. chatted, had sex, the usual stuff. met her a few times. i love sex, she loved me. so far still acceptable.

after the last session she tells me she wants a baby. must be gone crazy. next day she tells me that she secretly put my sperm into her pussy. now that got me worried quite a bit at first.

but later i relaxed a little. she had no sperm access. sperm was secured by a thin film of latex. condoms were filled with water after sex (so they don't float for ages) and discharge in the loo. btw, for those who don't know, water kills sperm instantly due to osmotic shock.

she obviously confused precum with sperm. i did some research on precum. precum does not contain any sperm at all. it's a myth. precum after orgasm *may* contain some sperm. but i usually had a [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134), or a shower with a [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134).

so her chances to have gotten pregnant are very, very remote. to better my chances further i visited her 2 days later and slipt her a single 25mg "morning after pill" in the food.

so, take care of love mad gals. next time i hear the word 'love' i dump them!

I paid 188rmb for a very nice room, but Cronin told me he only paid 148rmb. The mama's are waiting for you on the streets outside this hotel. Give 100 to mama and 100 to the girl when you finish.

guangzhou: sales of adult [CodeWord131] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord131) are booming as residents prepare themselves for long-haul journeys home on crowded trains for lunar new year.

many supermarkets in foshan, a city in south china's guangdong province, have reported an increase in sales of about 50 per cent.

the products, designed for incontinence, have been repositioned at prominent places on shop shelves since the start of the peak travel season for spring festival began on january 14, guangzhou-based yangcheng evening news reported.

the number of train seats for people returning home for family reunions are limited because of the huge demand in the period.

it means large numbers of passengers have to buy standing-only tickets and have to jam into all corners of carriages, even in toilets.

this often makes it almost impossible for passengers to pass through and reach the toilets and they are forced to go without relieving themselves for the whole journey.

Initially I thought they (30 something Chinese women in Cheongsams) were mail-order brides but no, this is a place for the extremely well-off. And they had the hired-hole looks about them, albeit the posh hh look.

The rental-yield here is thrice that of HK (which is pretty bleak).

Here is something interresting I found in another forum. I don't know if everything is correct, so if there are errors, a correction would be appreciated.

TigerThen I don't suppose you could translate to Pinyin? I'll never learn all those goofy characters.

Anyone know where you can find a similar list writen in pinyin?

Sorry, I don't know. Someone Chinese might do it. But for using it with the girls pinyin is of not much use, since mostly in pinyin the tones are not provided. Even if they are, one word with the same tone can still have different meanings and also characters.

why bother anyway? just look at that list! i mean, just when is anyone likely to find an occasion to say "drink [CodeWord109] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord109) in wine glass" to some sweet young thing in china? i'm more afraid that i'll accidentally say something like that when i'm trying to order a nice white wine from the bar...

Exactly, different tones can result in entire different meaning. If there are any specific phrases you want, PM and I can give you pinyin (i won't do the entire list)...but no guarantee it will sound correct when you say it :D

Conversely, cut and paste and bring with you - show it to your girl and she how she reacts.....

Tiger 1: "Beer from male client penis." WTF?? I think you're better off skipping the pinyin and just learning about five or six basic phrases beyond inquiries about price and so on. A good girl knows what to do anyway and can figure out your sign language pretty readily.

I didn't post that because I need it. My mandarin as well as cantonese is good enough to discuss anything with the girls. Still I don't know the highly idiomatic language used in this list, so I couldn't judge if it is right and where it could or should be used. Again there are definitely some phrases that should better not be used. Only someone Chinese can decide that, and again it will vary from region to region. So I posted this to get some feedback, so that non chinese speakers might be able to use it.
There was repeated demand for a chinese phrasebook.

Sorry, I didn't phrase my comment correctly. I realized you were sufficient in Chinese. When I said "you" I meant a person who didn't speak Chinese was better off learning/memorizing a few phrases rather than carrying around a list that he can't read and could be misinterpreted to the detriment of the occasion. Let's face it, a lot of those terms on the list are way out there.

One of the big frustrations of China is the language barrier. The better educated girls speak english, but the girls most of us guys are after do not.

I think any attempt by members to teach each other the useful phrases should be welcome. Unfortunately, without a "useful phrases" thread these phrases become quickly lost.

Thank you Tiger for trying to introduce new terms.

Does anybody know how to get a new thread started? Please Jackson?

We need to clarify that the first part of Tiger's list is a collection of special terms / code names for sex games and other activities played out in KTVs. (And even many KTVs do not have such things.)

With that in mind, it is clear that a non-Chinese speaker does not need to learn 萤火虫, yinghuochong, for example. In the language of KTVs it means a naked dance with a lighted cigarette stuck in the girl's privates. But in everyday Chinese, it just means firefly. I doubt most Chinese, even a large number of providers, understand the sexual connotation.

That being said, thanks to Tiger for posting the list. It is certainly "culturally" interesting. I did not know some of these terms and hope to partake in some of these games sometime....

ok, i need to know where ktv's like this are. i wouldn't mind using the chinese terms for 'drink [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134) from wine glass', or 'dance with cigarette in anus'. sounds like a jolly good time to me!!

the ktv i went to was supposed to be a 'crazy ktv' but the girls mostly lazed around the whole night until some staff member yelled for them to dance for 5 minutes. which i must admit was great, but 5 minutes@!!@!!

i asked for the filthiest hoes the place had to be brought out for us, but they all wanted over 1500rmb to go home. fuuuuuck that!

overall night cost us each over 1000rmb. but i'd be happy to pay for some of these games and such.

so, who knows the most notorious, downright dirty ktv in shanghai?? let's get together and party there!

i'm not saying that any of these acts don't exist somewhere on this earth but if you are going to use it as a guide to what kind of entertainment to expect in a ktv you are going to be disappointed.

you are more that likely to hear more that one person in the room to refer to you as "been tie" and treat you more of an alien that your average lao wai.

What is a 'been tie'? Can you provide the correct pinyin?

As you may have noticed, these phrases came from a previous posting which makes the insinuation that such places exist.

I know it does sound very far fetched to me as well.

While I know they do exist in Japan, and to a lesser extent in Thailand, I would like to find the raunchiest KTV in China, at least where the girls are happy to get naked and play some games.

Hence my question... Is this merely urban legend or do such similar KTV's exist, and if so, where are they to be found? Has anyone come across KTV's that differ from the somewhat overpriced and overrated norm?

been to lot of KTV in Shanghai with out much sucess. Last KtV I was at we went with the local gangsters who own the club. At the start a lot of women party party go go dance in corner a8-9 with cloths on pitty. As the night progressed lot of drink games arm wrestling the local hoods women starting to thin out around 1am but there was still women around. Having a good time but no naked women next time look at watch is was 5am, there was club owner there his girl, local boys girl friends all the women were taken whats the Fu-k.

I go to the club owner and ask if can arrange any girls he said the women he arranged for us did not want to go back to hotel with us what the F-ck and they left earlier. If you were at a KTV club with club owners you think you would be sorted. They have no idea. To save face he rang up couple girls to meet us out side to take back to hotel. Go to car park 10 min later a couple 5s roll up thanks but no thanks went home alone.

I don't know the exact pinyin, but that is darn close, both in Cantonese and Putonghua. "been tie" means perversion. Anything out of the norm for the Chinese girls are "been tie". Once a girl told me a guy likes to suck her toes, and she said he is "been tie"....

The correct term is 病态[-態] bìngtài, which means abnormal or morbid.

Regarding what goes on in KTVs in China, I've come across some where the girls strip and some mild sexual games go on (girl-on-girl, BJ's). I saw these in the provinces, not in major cities like Beijing or Shanghai.

I have yet to encounter some of these "bingtai" activities but I would not be surprised that they exist. The sex industry in China is competitive and the operators have to keep on "innovating" to try to stay on top....

Pretty much on the money with the translation e.g. weirdo, sicko, etc. I've been KTVing for over a decade at some pretty hardcore places with live action but have yet to see ass smoking or [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) drinking. You are more likely get little princesses that think they are doing you a favour by letting you kiss their ass.

The only service that I can recall in that category is in Zhu Hai where they have pregnant women that let you milk their breasts into a cup for RMB60.

Also PaulB's comment is pretty common in Shanghai to hear that the gals do not go out unless you become a regular as opposed to Southern China where a lot of gals get pissed if you don't take them out for further action.

tripper, if you find that ktv, give me a call, i'm in! i have no problem covering my end of the expenses.

the last one i went to was wild by shanghai standards, from the sound of it. every hour or so the girls got up for a dance with us. they stripped, we got to touch them all over, including fingering, etc. my girl got dripping wet every time i started to finger her. it was really sort of funny. when the dance started and i first touched her she would be dry as a bone, but once th finger passed the outer lips, it was almost like a gusher. she'd just soak my fingers. she would also french kiss.

unfortunately, it wasn't a group that would have approved of my dropping my drawers and getting a bj, so that wasn't attempted. i don't know if they would do that or not. but i'd like to go back and try.

i'm going to get the name/address of the place. maybe when i'm back we can check it out.
