Beware guys, currently police raid KTV, BBS, hotels in greater Beijing areas etc.Interesting that you mention this; I was in BJ in early November and heard this same thing. I went to a KTV place across the street from the Peninsula Palace and was told "no sex today" by the girl I chose. This nearly broke my heart as she was stunning. Apparently the boss was concerned about "police visits", so everything had to be legit. Managed to get very rushed HJ.
I thought this could have been a fluke, as the girl seemed to be new to the business. So, a couple of days later I walked by the place again. As an Asian, you can definitely get into Maggies with a foreigner. Been there in mixed groups and it was no problem and the Chinese bar-girls were all over one of my Korean friends. Not sure why they have this policy, nobody there was able to give me a decent answer. Still, my take is that if they don't want my business, I am happy to take it elsewhere. You're not missing all that much!

I've been coming here for a long time, but never noticing the private message feature in the corner until yesterday. Some PM date back as far as a year; sorry for this late reply.
Many of you asked about the group pictures I had posted. Those are from last year's Chinese new year dinner for my company (speaking of that we gotta start organizing this year's party...hehehe). The place is Guangdong province, City of Dong Guan. I'm in Beijing from time to time but mostly I'm down south or in US.
The party scene down south is quite different from Beijing I must say. It is less restrictive, girls are way more (many places have as many as 2-300 girls in one place), and prices are cheaper. The going rate is 2, 5, 8; meaning to have a girl to hang around you is 200RMB, one shot is 500RMB, all night is 800RMB. This is understood by both sides of the trade so very little haggling is necessary. But in the case of our new year party where multiple girls are invited, we can and do negotiate for better price.
It's both "well-established" and "lawless" down here, if you know what I mean.

I've seen several posts on this and related subjects, but it's different when it is personal. I was living with one of the top girls from PASSION for a couple of months before I found out how she made so much money. In japan this duality is known as tatemae and honne. Which means 'face' and 'heart' (very loosely). It also means that the person might share a very different reality to different people depending the situation. So her work is 'tatemae' but her relationship with you is 'honne'. Again, if you can accept this situation it's ok!
I tried, knowing full well these issues. Not even with a sex-worker, but a regular woman and just the fact that she kept completely separate live(s) going on without any reprisal eroded my trust and eventually our relationship. There is a saying: 'Men have stories (or: adventures), while women have a past', will say: if a woman is doing the same as a man, it is not the same by far.
Anyway: I am around since quite a while, have seen a lot of those Suzie-Wong stories, some with a good ending, some bad. It is very depending of the individual character of the girl.
At the end of the day it will come down to the commitment you are willing to make .... if you really want her to change her lifestyle.

Difficult question. From my experience, some people who have done it are very happy, for others it was a disaster.
I think it is a frequent behaviour from working girls. I had (have) friends who were working girls and married (or try to marry) with foreigners. If they met a man in their working place, they would have him pay as customer. But they also had relationships with men that they met in other places and whom they perceived as potential husbands (often they had 2 or 3 potential husbands to make sure they get at least one). Of course they never told them they were working girls.
One thing you must keep in mind is that for any non-rich chinese girl, marrying is a rational matter, not a love matter. She may genuinely love you, but will marry you to get the high level of comfort, well being, security and protection for her and her children, that she expects she will get from you. Even if she loves you, she will throw you away like an old sock, if it will not be up to her expectations. And if she works at Passion her expectations may be high !
So you must think if you are able to provide that standard of living on long term. I don't know about your work. Maybe you have a good standard of living as an expat, but not in your home country. If you come back to your home country and she find out it's not at all the same standard of living, it may become a problem. I know about some divorces for this reason.
Personnaly, there is a risk she would be attracted by her old "work". I don't think chinese girls like that job. But I guess she's beautifull, has some "class" and distinction, and has proven she is able to do anything to reach her objectives. It means that if she finds out it is not interesting to stay with you any more in the future, she will have the means to do it, and also the determination to do it without any after-thought. That is for me the most dangerous aspect.
So don't forget it is like a contract. If you think you can answer to her requirements on long term, there should be no problem.
It is natural for you to be upset that she is sleeping with other for money. But what she said is also true: Love is different than sex. It is up to you to accept these facts. The question is: Do you love her, REALLY love enough to accept her past & present enough to marry her - assuming she quits her job forever? If yes, then go ahead and marry her.
The only problem then is: MONEY. You said she has made a lot of money. What has she done with this? Invested it, banked it, or spent it all away? What is important in the days to come is: Can she be able to live a normal lifestyle on your income (as she would not be working anymore)? Will she be satisfied with this lifestyle, and for how long? And importantly - Can she afford to live on your normal income lifestyle - meaning she does not have to support someone (parents, relatives, etc). The answers will determine the success or failure of your marriage.

I lived in Henderson Center some years ago (close to railway station) and on that time there was a Irish restaurant in the same building, in the ground floor there was a KTV. There I have seen the most beautiful girls ever :-)

About a year ago, I had faced almost the same 'problem' as you facing now. I did posted our story in the forum and received a lot of comments from fellow members about our relationship. After we live together for a short period and knew her character and family background. Also with great helps and advises from member gatherings, finally I found the true love and make the right decision to marry her. Untill now, we never regret to stay close together.
Your situation maybe some varies from mine, but it all depend on how you treat your relationship with her. How deep is your love with her? Sorry, I can't give you any comment as I am not very clear about you and her status. Please try to understand her behaviour, character and background, before you jump into the final decision. There are many family problems in the Chinese that we never believe it existing. Although you can't read her mind, do understand her feeling and thinking. You can't change her past, but you have a chance to plan your future with her. I feel comfortable as she decide totally quit her 'job' because of you. Once you find the true love from her, hope that your story will reach the happy ending as our. If not, don't waste your precious time, let the relationship ended without regret.

I can tell you more horror stories than you want to hear about pros as wives and girlfriends. IMHO, the chance of finding an honest, genuine, real deal after she crosses the line is very, very rare. The lifestyle, easy money, etc. spoils them fast. Listen to the veterans here. I agree with Sojourn wholeheartedly and I quote, ''you can take the girl out of the bar, but you can't take the bar out of the girl''. There are plently of regular girls in China to pursue if you are really keen on a Chinese girl. Your odds are much better of finding true love.

You might find happiness but you'll be the exception rather than the rule and by choosing an ex pro, the odds are against you, sorry. Thanks for all your advice. I’d like to share some more thoughts and ask more opinions.
This girl has saved well and invested her money, has her own apartment, a car and plenty of savings. She never asked me for money or gifts and if I did buy her something, she’d be really happy and often bought me surprise gifts. Her life plan, like several others in Passion and in the trade, was to earn as much cash while she can and then retire. She said “When a woman is wealthy, who cares how she earned it.”
Through my relationship with this girl, I got close to a few other so-called high class working girls. A couple of them are really frank. Once they treat you as a friend rather than a client it’s amazing how open they will be about their work and their lives. I think several of you know this already.
All these other girls recommend I marry my girlfriend. “We all are looking for a husband and a chance to settle down”. Most have a target – the amount they want to have in the bank before they retire or a target date.
They give many examples of girls who quit and are happily married – their husbands don’t know what they did before. That’s why most work in another city and all use “trade names”.
My dilemma is that I do think I love the girl. I’m always happy to see her and feel like calling her all the time. Intellectually I can accept “it’s just a job”, but emotionally, I can’t handle the thought of her doing all that stuff.

3. It’s a tough competitive business. Relationships between the girls are very competitive and complex. There are factions and even cat fights. There are “rules of engagement” but these are often broken by some girls. When a girl break the rules, it spreads very quickly.
4. Time with a client is paid for, like a lawyer or a psychiatrist, there is usually no friendship outside the business, in that they won’t voluntarily spend time with a client unless it’s paid for.
5. Time with friends and a boyfriend is different – it’s their own time – the clock is not running.
6. They all say sex with a boyfriend is very different from sex with a client. Some girls really enjoy sex with a boyfriend, even after sex with a client because its for themselves and they are not. Funnily enough, shortly after I broke up with my girlfriend, one of the other girls asked me to be her “boyfriend” – what she wanted was BFE – boyfriend experience just once a week, with someone she feels safe with.
7. Sex with a client is not cheating. Unpaid sex would be.
8. It’s not a pleasant job. Not one says they like anything about it except the money. They often get clients who delay paying as long as possible, or who fall asleep without paying, and make the girls wait till the next day, or they don’t have enough cash. Most girls have horror stories, some have been robbed by clients and they can’t call the police.
9. Several say they turn their minds off with clients, though they cann act really sexy. They all say they want it to be over as quickly as possible, to get their money and leave.

11. They fake orgams all the time, but if they don’t have a boyfriend, then occasionally they will come with a client. If they have a boyfriend, they never come with a client.

I will add my 2 cents regarding Alex's situation. I have found that the longer a girl has been in the bar life, the harder it will be to get her out of it. If she is new, and you can catch her in the first 6 months, you may have a chance. Longer than 6 months and I think it will be very difficult. I know a number of girls (Chinese and Mongolian) who have mairried guys, disapeared for 6 months or a year, and the were back in Beijing. Sometimes it is because they have left the guy, or he kicked her out, but other times it is because he is back in his home country and they are out "with friends", and the next thing you know they go home with someone. I know one Chinese girl who mairried this Japanese guy who was well off, and he even adopted her daughter and moved them both to Japan. When she would come back to China to "visit her parrents" she would go out to the Pig, Hard Rock, and Maggies. While she was not as desperate as before she was mairried, I did see her go with guys when it suited her.
I have to agree with those who say that you can find a beautiful, intellegent, Chinese girl that has never been involved in the bar life. That is not to say that you could not find happiness with a bar girl, but if it bothers you this much now, I dont think it will go away. Imagine visiting a resturant or bar in Beijing after you are mairried and you see some western guy checking your wife out. If she was never in the bar life you would think "yea, that's right, she's with me!", but instead your first thought is going to be: has she slept with him? If she is truly attractive then guys are going to be checking her out all of the time, which is going to drive you crazy.

I always believing that if both of you love each other very deep in heart 'you can take her out of the bar, and you can take the bar out of her'. Although there are many 'regular' Chinese girls in our society, I do believe in fate (Yuan Fen) to meet true love.
Share your feeling of love with her and frankly discuss your thinking with her. In China, the Chinese always have a lot of family problems to face and waiting for solutions. I do believe nobody would like to be a prositute, if she/he has a choice. If you have no confident about her, dont let your hair getting wet again.
I had lost my connection with my Malaysian friend, Big L, otherwise we can share his experience. He had faced a lot of problems and much efforts to get his Chinese lover from the pro-line, because they truly love each other very deeply. We lost contact for a long period, hope they still in 'love boat' together.

I agree with all different views of many forum members. All of them are right to some extent.
Mainly I agree with those who are stressing the fact it is a matter of personal feeling, whereas type of business shouldn't be an issue, like it is not race or religion.
Anyway, it is very difficult to take such a decision, and it is completely up to you.
However, I only want to tell you what is my personal impression.
I had some girlfriends in China and Brazil, in and out of the business. I only mention those two countries because both of them are considered poor.
My experience with Chinese girlfriends is that they only want someone who can take them away from China and their miserable life.
Maybe they do not have a real miserable life, if we compare it to Chinese standard, but they think it is, as they compare it to what they think it is the western standard.
So, I always believe their passion is finalized to a very simple target.

I stayed at Sheraton Xi'an for two nights about two months ago. I belive that this hotel would consider one of the best hotels in town. There are sauna/masage parlor and KTV in the hotel. KTV had virtually no activities on Sunday night and sauna/massage parlor as well.
I have not had diverse and in-depth experiences for sauna venues in China so I can't rank this place against others in China. However, the place was reasonably clean and nice. Rooms were clean and spaceous with good beds. VIP rooms have queen size bed along with full bathroom. They offer various services from straight massage to full service.
Girls were reasonable at between 6 to 8 out of 10 and all are ready for full service. I belive that total cost was 450 RMB (if not 400 RMB) if my memory serves me correctly. I do not belive there were many quests in the house which might something got to do with being on late Sunday evening.
Due to short stay and my girl being with me would not allow me to explore the city. Hope this helps.

I'd just like to add that a lot depends on what type of wife you want - regardless of her time as a prostitute. Do you want a wife who will be independent, desire her own career and friends, and speak her mind ? No right or wrong answers here, just brutally honest questions that need to be raised. I personally would go crazy with a stay-at-home wife; I need to be with a woman who wants her own career in order to feel fulfilled.

Not much of the actions that you can find in this huge city, as compare to Beijing; except BBS and/or MP here and there. Check out my post ( June 04 ) in the Xi'an thread.
I also stayed at the Sheraton and had couple sessions of the in-house sauna/MP. Off2Golf's info. went along very well, the facility is very clean and roomy; would be rated at 8 of 10 for service and girls. I recommended the VIP with FS at 500RMB (+/-), worth it! Energized, good spirit along with bright smiles after both sessions.
I will head back there for 3, 4 days at the end of March. Looking forward to any useful info. which relates to FL, pick-up hot spots/clubs.

The one reason I like it at Landmark is it is at the HRC and girls flock there and I havent had a problem bringing them back to my room. Just outside along the bus stop and ped bridge are several SWs that can be brought inside as well.

Its been there since at least 1998 when I lived in Landmark for 18 months. It's in the basement under the connecting passage between the hotel and serviced apartments. In other words, below the gym area. Girls were really pretty; KTV isn't my thing tho. What Passion has going for it is that it's a bar/nightclub - the majority of the people who go there don't use the KTV rooms - they dance and drink and frollick.
Any girl who works in the Landmark complex - KTV or sauna - can gain access to the rooms. At least that's been my experience.
Re: Aria- I have also seen some stunners in there lately. Same holds true for Red Moom (Hyatt) and the lobby lounge (Hyatt).

The Kempinski hotel is located in this complex. The Lufthansa Center is at the corner of Liang Ma Qiao Lu and the 3rd ring road.
If you walk from the Lufthansa Center due south along the 3rd ring road, after a couple of blocks you will come across the Hard Rock Cafe on your left hand side and further along still will be Passion's at the Great Wall Sheraton Hotel.
Between the Great Wall Sheraton (Passion's) and the Lufthansa Center you can usually find numerous SW's, depending on any crackdowns or the weather.

There was a typing problem with my previous mail. My opinion was there is no risk she would be attracted again by her previous work. I have been friend during some time with a working girl, so I agree with most of your observations.

I just visited Landmark KTV. We were presented 3x choices of at least 2o girls each. All were range 6's - 9's (based on Passion standards). The KTV party is good hostess fun here and acceptable for high level business people. Maybe it's not the 'mileage' oriented place like some - but it offers a good experience with beautiful women and 'client friendly'.

Hello! Here is card to a sauna health center in Beijing. I believe you will be treated very well. You will need mandarin language skills or go with a chinese client. Price is about 1000RMB all included - sauna, snacks, massage and 90min of extended fun. Recently stayed at the Kerry Centre hotel. Went to the bar at about 11 pm, feeling both thirsty and horny.
The bar was very crowded, only hotel guests were allowed in at that time. There were some very sexy waitresses around, but it soon became clear who the working girls were.

Okay, here is the story:

I agree that I probably botched this. But please understand that I have bounced around much of Asia, and the only time I have been "taken" before was in Shanghai, where I was enticed into buying gifts and in the end, went home alone.
So in short, my guard was up, and in the end, I may have done the wrong thing. For that I am sorry and beg forgiveness.
Now the good news: After I sent the message, I started packing and guess who called me at the hotel: Jenny.

Having said that, China is also a wonderful place for real freebies..... you need to live here to have enough freebies to even out the money suckers, yes I met some.... but there are more real freebies, as long as you try, they of them even think you disgrace them if you give them taxi money.
My advise: while you are in the course of changing job.....start looking out for a China job.... :-)

The tea house for 400RMB was a rip-off unless you had the best tea from Fujian province this year. Last year's auction brought 55,000 HK$ for 500 grams so I suppose a couple of cups of this could add up. She may have taken a kick back from the joint.
Kidding aside, I reckon she figured that she could get something out of you in exchange for the action. e.g the shoes. This is normal when semi-pros don't want to be seen as such. IIMHO, I don't think you lucked into a complete freebie. It is unusual for normal Chinese girls to give head to someone they meet on the street. I believe if you call her she will ask to go shopping again. Why don't you try and let us know what happens?

Here's a story of success.
Stayed at the Grand Hyatt for about 7 nights last week. Scored 3 times without leaving the hotel lobby.
Score 1: I arrived around 7:00 pm, took a shower, and headed down to the lobby to get a drink at the Red Moon bar there at the hotel. Made it about 10 steps from the elevator and got propositioned by a mid-30's working gal asking if I wanted a massage. Perhaps, I replied - maybe in an hour. Still had time to select a delicacy from Maggies - very petite and very attractive - but worst performer I have ever had from there - still shit happens huh. I still think overall quality has slipped from 1 to 2 years ago - I might be wrong - JMHO.

Just got back from my afternoon session. What a disappointment. I had originally scheduled to meet up with a pro who serviced me tag team with her lesbian friend on two previous occassions. Had thoroughly enjoyed the show she put on with her big black dildo. Wanted her to come by today and give me a private show that would end with either CIM or CIface-breasts.

If you are a first time visitor to Beijing, and will only spend four nights, I suggest you skip looking for the Russian girls. I'm surprised by messages about the Russian club scene as well. I have never stumbled across a thriving, Russian filled club, don't even know the place some of the guys are referring to. Having said that, I find it intriguing as well.
But since I am gearing up for my next stint in Beijing, I am scouring the postings to learn more about what is up lately.

Hollywood and Ostrov are in Ritan Road and are practically neighbours (only separated by Ritan Hotel). This part of Beijing is known as the Russian quarter. Other places to look for Russian women iare Elefant, Traktir and the Den.
I have to admit, I am not familiar with either of these places and a search did not turn up anything.
Sometimes I see two Russian ladies in Maggies (blondes). One has tattoos all over her legs, kind of punk rockerish. The other, a tall innocent looker, always gone within minutes of walking in the door.
Can you post more details on the location of Hollywood and the Ostrov? It sounds like an interesting cultural experience. I would appreciate if anyone would post their recent experience and the cost of this place if they know it.

for those interested in russians in beijing i have attached a business card and a map showing you the location of this establishment. i have found that hotel staff either know exactly where this place is, and the normal reaction is a all knowing smile, or they have absolutely no idea where it is. with the latter you have the risk of being dropped off al various hotels close by to the hollywood disco, but unless you know the area you may have problems finding it. the card should resolve this issue.
my experience with russians in beijing is minimal, having only first visited this disco in january, which may not be the best visiting time. but based on my minimal experience here is a description.
the hollywood disco is next to the ritan hotel and across the road from the ritan park, right in the north-east corner of the russian sector (which incidentally has a good source of shoes and furs - if you are interested in buying, and some great russian restaurants - however english is not commonly spoken so unless you know russian or mandarin be prepared for lots of confusion).
as you enter there will typically be a few bouncers outside and a few taxis for guests to use when they leave. inside and behind the cigarette counter you can buy you entry tickets, 40rmb, which you then immediately give to the 3-4 bouncers 1-2 metres away. once you have passed this you are inside.
in front of you is the bar, a large square bar in the centre of the disco. typically this will be surrounded by the working girls, western types to the left and chinese types to the right. there is a dance floor to the right which i have never ever seen anyone use and a number of tables to the left and behind the bar. pool tables will be found in the left-rear of the disco. i typically buy a beer and head to the tables to the left, as this has the best views of the western russians.
the first thing that may strike you is how dark this place is, you need military image intensification equipment to view the women, but then i suppose this is done on purpose. the music is a mix of russian and german heavy metal and rap, with the tv's rep001tered around showing you film clips which have nothing to do with the music.
the system, as far as i can work it out, is you view the lady's and once you have selected a suitable one you approach them. unlike most places in beijing, the women seem humourless, no smiles or attempts as conversation. its all very mechanical. the costs seems to be short 800rmb and long 2000rmb. service is professional, but quick and cold. most of the girls don't speak english and seem to prefer chinese clients. i was told by one of the russian guys i met that they assume anyone who looks western is russian, and thus has minimal money. i don't know if this is true, as the girls did not seem to warm to an englishman.
once you have selected the girl as you leave you need to be prepared to be ripped off by the taxi's. this is an unusual experience for me, as typically beijing taxi's do not do this. for a 5-10min ride they will change 50rmb. as i am use to bangkok this did not worry me, but i was momentarily confused. the taxi's also play russian music in them, so i expect english visitors are not too common.
one note, its seems the girls absolutely refuse to have pictures taken of them, in any condition. also, most of the girls come from one of the stan's or vladivostok. they were generally young and good looking, but most were in town to support child born out of wedlock.

My experience with Russian girls in all parts of Asia (Macau, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo) is similar to what Sebastian My has reported. Very mechanical, but professional service in a hurry. They all seem to prefer Asian, rather than Western customers. Are there any exceptions to this rule in Beijing?

There is a Sauna at Zhi Xin Cun in Hai Dian district, named "Hai Zhi Lin (Shower from the Sea)", introduced by a friend and I tried twice, with same girl, very good HJ.
You enter the door and given a pair of slipper, the key to closet is passed into the changing room. After normal shower, sauna (if you are looking for the best sauna facility in town, this is not the place) you go back to the changing room and the boy there will ask if you want to get upstairs and "have a rest (you'll feel more tired after the rest)".
On 2nd floor you are guided into a room. In my two visits, I found there are two types of different rooms: room with one queen sized bed and room with two small beds. I didn't see any room with the normal "massage bed (bed with a hole)". There are TV and you can order drinks or snacks.
When I first visit there, I ask the waiter what service available but the answer is "no special service, but you can have Tui You (Oil Massage)" so I agreed to have one session of that. Then the girl came in, a 7 in my book, and just my type - kind of short & small.
I told her I want 'Tui You' so she went out and back with a shower towel and bottle of Johnson&Johnson Baby Oil.
The oil massage starts from the back, then goes down to the point. The girl was very good at this, tender, soft finger, konw how to keep you high but not too high, and no rush at all. Then she asked me to turn over after about 20min, further massage on my chest. The whole session is about 30-40min, including chat and smile of her.
After the main course she went out to wash her hand and then back to give me a real massage. I guess she was not a pro on massage but still better than 'massage' in some other saunas.
After another 20min I decided to leave and signed the bill. On the bill it was listed as "one session of HK style (98) + one session of THAI style(198)". She asked for some tip, I asked how much, she said 30. Quite reasonable for the quality of her service, I marked "+30" on the bill. The total demage was about 360, include 20 of tea and 20 of bath gown made of paper.
I visited there again yesterday and asked for the same girl again, after about 3 months. She recognized me, as the 'white and fat' guy. Similar experience, good service, more chat and smile. The only difference was this time she didn't ask for any tip. Maybe I'll go to her again, or try some other girl here.
Now the most important information: address and name of the gir.
If you are coming from the south part of Beijing, try to get to the Zhi Xin Qiao (Zhi Xin Bridge) at the North 4th Ring Road. Turn to north from Zhi Xin Qiao and go down the street until you find a McDonald sign to your left. Then turn left, the Sanua is about 200 meters away, with neon sign (in Chinese only),
next to a hot pot restaurant and a "Gold KTV". You cannot miss it.
If you come from the north, eg. from Peking University, Tsinghua University or University of Languages, you just need to go via Xue Qing Lu, cross the Xue Yuan Lu (University Road) and head east to Zhi Xin Cun. Then you'll find the sauna to your right side, just at a big corss with traffic lights.
Finally the girl's name is Liu Xia and she's from An Hui province.

Start at the Pig and Thistle in the Holiday Inn Lido. They have a decent 2 for 1 "happy hour" from 5 to 8 (yea, I know it is actually 3 hours). Some Chinese working girls will start to show up as early as 7, and the Mongolian girls start rolling in around 9. By 11 there are usually a lot of people, with the guy to girl ratio in our favor. By the way, there are typically some cute Chinese girls sitting at the Baskin Robins starting around 3 pm. These girls speak less English, and rarely come into The Pig. Something for you early birds. The Pig closes at 2 am, and last call is 1 am. Typically the girls will gauge the crowd and start to leave for either the Hard Rock or Maggie's around midnight.
High Roller's Optional side trip - Passion's at the Great Wall Sheraton hotel. Every taxi driver in Beijing should know where the Sheraton is, just tell them "changcheng fandian" (Great Wall Hotel). Take a look in "Passions". You will have to pay a cover to get in (120 RMB), but this includes the cost of your first drink. When you walk in the door there is a bar. Sit down at the bar and get your first beer. You may not see any girls, but they are all off hiding in the shadows near the dance floor. They will get up and do a lap around the bar, or go to the bathroom, so you will get to see them all. Here you will find some of the most beautiful girls in China (all Chinese), but they will expect you to tip them at least 300RMB just for sitting and talking with you, so don't let one sit down just to be polite. They all speak good English, and most will give you there cell number to hook up with you later, but they will want 2000-3000RMB. If you have time to kill, and money to burn, pick one out, and have her sit next to you at the bar and teach you how to play the dice game. It is a nice way to kill time, and will cost you about the same prices as 2 lap dances would cost in the USA. Their ultimate goal is to get you into one of the KTV rooms, but this is again high dollar stuff. On the plus side they take credit cards, but you are looking at around 20,000 RMB, and KTV is not something you typically do by yourself.
Average Joe's Optional Side Trip - Hard Rock Cafe. It is right next to the Great Wall Sheraton Hotel. People start showing up around 11:00 pm. You have to pay a 60RMB cover to get in every night except Wednesday, and this includes your first drink. They usually have a band playing that is not too bad. Hang around the bar. I would venture to say that 99% of the single girls there are working, and they can all speak some English. The Hard Rock is a tourist trap, so there are some non-working girls, but it is easy to distinguish the pros from the straight girls. You will find Chinese, Mongolian, and some Russian girls at the Hard Rock. Talk, flirt, enjoy the view and the music. If you find a girl you like she will be happy to go with you. The girls have to pay a cover to get in every night, plus they must pay security monthly or they will be turned away at the door, so expect to pay 800RMB for them to go with you. If you want to make a friend, offer to take one of the girls from the Pig and Thistle to the Hard Rock with you. They normally cannot get in without paying the bouncers extra, but if the girl is with a Westerner she will not be turned away. Once at the Hard Rock you can ditch her if you like, she will just be happy to be in the prime hunting grounds. Again around midnight everyone will head out to Maggie's.
Russian Lovers Optional Side Trip - The Den. When the taxi driver leaves the Hard Rock he will be heading north, but he will turn around under the 3rd ring road to head south. To drive by The Den have him take a right (west) at the first stop light (Dongzhimenwai dajie) The Den will be about half way down the block, on your left (South). The Den is also a nice pickup spot, mostly for Chinese working girls but I have seen several Russian girls there as well. It is not packed wall to wall with them like Rock & Roll next to the Ritan Hotel is, but it is on the way to Maggie's and worth a look. Downstairs is a restaurant, and upstairs a dance floor. To continue on to Maggie's the taxi should take a left (south) at the next stop light. You will see the Workers Stadium on your left (west). Maggie's is just south of the East entrance of the Workers Stadium.
Every taxi driver in front of the Hard Rock at midnight will know how to get to Maggie's, and it should cost you only about 15RMB to get there. There are actually 2 Maggie's - Maggie's Club, and Maggie's Bar. Maggie's Club is just east of the Hilton Hotel, and is currently closed for remodeling. It should open back up again in April 2005. Maggie's Bar is the Maggie's everyone refers to. There is no cover charge, but they sometimes give non-anglos a hard time at the door saying membership is required. You may have better luck on a non-weekend night, and then once you establish yourself as a regular I don't think they will stop you. At Maggie's you will find Chinese, Russian, and Mongolian girls. Almost all of the Chinese girls in Maggie's work for the bar - their job is to sell you drinks, and get you to buy them drinks. While it is possible to hook up with a girl who works for Maggie's, I have found it is rare. Maggie's stays open until everyone goes home. There have been times when I have walked in, found a girl, and left quickly, and other times I have not left until the sun came up. The main attraction of Maggie's is the Mongolian girls. The old joke is "what do you call a Chinese girl with tits and ass? Mongolian!" Plus, it is easier to bring a Mongolian girl back to your hotel room late and still get them in. Just be sure and ask her if she has a valid passport. If security hassles you on your way into the hotel you can simply register her at the front desk. Expect to pay from 600RMB up, but because it is so late the girls will almost always stay the night with you.
In the past I have suggested Wednesday night be deemed "beginners" night at the Hard Rock. There is not cover charge on Wednesday, and they play retro music. If you are new in town and looking for advice hang out on the stairs behind the bar. If you are an old hand and see some guy hanging out on the stairs say hello and offer to show him the ropes. Action starts around 11 pm, and runs until about 1 am when everyone goes to Maggie's.
Just about every night of the week can be beginners night at The Pig. This is a hotel bar, and everyone there knows what is going on. If you don't know what you are doing, just sit down at the bar and strike up a conversation with another guy. If you are lucky you may get me and I'll buy you a beer!
The KTV scene for Westerners
The easiest (and most expensive) KTV is the one in Passion's, but as has been noted it can cost you upwards of $1,000US per person, so unless you have deep pockets it will not become one of your regular spots. Otherwise you need to get a Chinese business partner to recommend one. My favorite recently closed, so I am open to any suggestions!
There are 2 major costs associated with KTV'ing - The room, and the girls. When you first arrive you will be quoted a price for "the room". This price is based upon the size of the room, but think of it as a minimum purchase - if they say it will cost 1000RMB, that means you will need to purchase at least 1000RMB worth of food/snacks and drinks. This does not include the tips for "the girls". Once you get settled the Mamasan will bring in a lineup of girls for you to choose from. If you do not find anyone you like she will probably have another group for you to choose from. I always ask the group if any of the girls speak English. Finding an English speaking girl at a KTV is rare even in Beijing (and non-existent out side of Beijing), and the Yan Xiang always seems to have a couple girls who can speak some English. A KTV Tip: Once you find a girl who speaks English it is wise to get her mobile number, that way, if you plan to go to the KTV in the future you can give her a call and she will wait for you instead of joining the line-up for other guys. I have noticed that most of my Chinese friends all have "regular" girls they call before we arrive at the KTV bar so their girl will be waiting for them. Once you have picked your girl she will wait on you, pour your drink, toast you, offer you food, ect. If you get stuck with a non-English speaker that ask to play the dice game. You can usually do this without knowing any English, and it allows you and her to drink and flirt together. I have been told that these girls expect you to do just about anything but penetrate them, so feel free to let your hands roam. The girl will typically respond to your cue - if you are bold, she will be bold, if you are shy, she will be shy.
The last few times I have been in a KTV we have played "sex games". These are actually more innocent then they sound, the kind of games you would play at parties when you were in High School, but they are still kind of fun. For example, one of the guys would be blind folded and get to feel up each of the girls and try to guess which tits belong to which girl. Or the opposite, a girl is blind folded and grabs the crotch of each guy. Most of these little games involve the girl getting naked in one capacity or another, so it can be kind of fun. Recently I have also been exposed to "sex shows" where the normal KTV girls leave the room, and another girl comes in and does a Bangkok style sex show. To be honest, I can do without that, but if that is your thing it is now available in Beijing.
When it is time to go you will be brought your room bill. Have your Chinese buddy review it and make sure you are not getting cheated. If the place takes credit cards you can typically add the tip onto the room fee, and they will write you a receipt that says "meal" or "food" in Chinese. I have been to several KTV places in Beijing, and never tipped anyone but the Girl who sat with me (and the girls of my customers if I am entertaining them), and then a max of only 300RMB. I have been told by my Chinese friends that 100RMB minimum, 200RMB average, and 300RMB if you had a good experience. Maybe I am being too cheep, but the girls never seem to get angry or complain. I will typically buy the Mamasan a drink, but I do not give anything to the waitress. Remember that this tip does not include any take out fee - if you want the girl to go to your room you will need to negotiate this deal separately. I have never been in a KTV were there was not at least some girls that were willing to go with you. You just need to specify that this is what you want with the Mamasan before you pick your girl, and she will steer you in the right direction.
Just like everything else, I think the key to good service it to become a regular customer at some bar/KTV. The first few times you go have your Chinese buddy look over the bill and make sure you were not cheated, but once the Mamasan recognizes that you will come back, and bring other potential customers, then she will never try to cheat you. Next time I am in Beijing we can all meet at the Yan Xiang and give it a try. You will all just have to pretend you are interested in my products so I can write it off
Saunas
Sometimes when you are stuck in the middle of nowhere the only bright spot might be your hotel's "sauna". Most of the Chinese hotels will have some type of massage or sauna place down in the basement, and almost all of these places will perform extra services. These services will range from a hand job to full sex, depending on the place and the girl. Your biggest hurdle will be to convince them to service a westerner, so this is the time when you will need the help of your Chinese business partner. As him to arraign your first visit, and you can then go down whenever you want after that and negotiate on your own.

As part of my continuing travel guides I will provided a description of the famous Maggies 1 and less famous Maggies 2.
Maggies 1
You will find a host of information of this fine establishment in a variety of sources, so i will only provide technical information – opinions you can create yourself when you visit. The first issue is getting their, its in the grounds of the workers stadium, across a small bridge. The attached map will provide the big picture and assist the taxi in getting their, but look for a bridge to cross and you can't miss the large red maggies sign. If you are a laowai you will no issues entering, if you are local looking you may find issues. Once inside you will find a bar to you right, some tables and lounges to your left. Further into the bar you will see a pool table to your left and a dance floor to your right, which does get used quiet a bit. If you turn right and walk pass the dance floor some more private lounges and tables can be found.
There will be three types of girls present. There are a number of Chinese bar girls employed by the bar to entertain guests, they drink and talk with you. Some are more friendly than others and some play a mean game of pool. Typically that is all you can expect. The second type are the foreign “take-away” girls, which are typically Mongolian. A few Russians may be present as well. The final type is rare, but on a Friday or Saturday evening you will find normal Chinese girls hoping to earn some extra cash. I have only seen two of these girls and one was less than attractive and the other was an admin at my office (in that case i gingerly exited the bar without being seen and made sure i never visit on a Friday evening again.) The prices range wildly, but seem to hover around the United Nations standard unit of Short US$100 and Long US$250 – but i must admit the prices range wildly and far lower prices can be had.
If you arrive before 10pm, you will not find many people around. It really starts about the 11pm mark and rages on through the night. Friday and Saturday is most crowded and i rarely go there on those days. For the other days you still get a good crowd by Midnight. If you only want to talk to the bar girls turn up a bit early so you can select one which you may fancy, however be warned – once they know you – they will always remember you. Its almost as if they plan a radioactive mark on you somewhere which causes an alarm bell to ring when you enter.
Maggies 2
This was closed the last time i dropped over and seems to only be open when there are lots of laowai in town. Once again a bit confusing to find, but not as bad as maggies 1. If you exit the front of the Hilton and turn left twice and follow the dark street until you find the red maggies sign, you will be OK. The attached map will help.
Once at maggies you will be greeted when you enter (unlike maggies 1), bar is to your left, dance floor in front and pool table up stairs. I have only been a few times and I only spoke to bar girls, I did not see any take-away, but then I did arrive a bit early, about 11pm, so who knows what goes on later. I would not try and go their during the cold months, as its always closed (lack of customers i assume).

You're right about those outrageous prices for the Passion KTV near Sheraton. This is the most expensive KTV in China and supposelly, most beautiful girls too. If you'e deep-pocketed, go for the best. If not, like myself, there are plenty of affordable fucking places in Beiging.

Thanks!I've been to this KTV Capitol Club in this hotel TianLun Dynasty near Wangfujin. It is on the second floor up the escalator after passing the hotel lobby. Room rate is about RMB1,200 - 1,600 depending on the size of room and unlimited liquor and "green" tea mixed. So if shared among 3-4 person, not bad : each ave RMB300 room + RMB300 for your hostess gal tips + RMB100 mamasan tip. RMB 700 (USD90 ~) for 2 to 4 hours of fun. No stripping or hanky panky but the gals do generally do ST or overnight at another price of about RMB1000 ST.

yes for no less than $250 I was talking about overnight, not ST. (I never go ST, why? Because ST means they can leave you once finished, would you expect them to relax and try to have a good time with you?).

ErikThanks for the update Lina Fan, you have given me hope. I will immediatly continue my search for the russian "exception" in Beijing this weekend - no matter what the cost. The cost of VIP room at the KTV sitting around 6 people comfortably was a RMB1500 minimum charge, with another RMB400 going to the mamasan. With the RMB1500 charge we were given two free bottles of Johnny Walker Black Label, we ended up not meeting our minimum charge for the night.
All the girls at this establishment were top quality, 8-10s all of them, very beautiful, the charge for these girls is RMB400 to sit and drink and chat, if you want to take them out, ST is RMB1500 (this includes the original RMB400) for overnight fun, the standard charge is RMB2500. I get the feeling that you can bargain them down too.
The second night, I went to a KTV that's actually owned by the Maggie's group, across the street from the Hilton hotel. Not sure exactly what the building is called though. This place the decoration of the KTV rooms was not nearly as spectacular as at the Hojos, and the girls are not quite as beautiful, nearing 7-8 status with one or two 9s included. However they were much more liberal in their play, having girls take off their clothes in the room was not such a rare occurence.

Look through some of the older posts in this section, there's plenty of info about ladies available in the Oriental Plaza mall downstairs, including the famous Mary.
Only a few of them are really Russian (holder of Russian passport or having real Russian parents), more accurately speaking we can say there are former Soviet Union girls.

If you bargain a little or are able to speak a few Russian (and understand who are these girls..) you can success to get same prices as for girls at Maggie’s or to get Russian prices (100-150.-USD for LT).
With some girls, you will be surprised by the service (as in Moscow) if you can handle the contact in a good manner.
The best GFE could be achieved with non-pro Russian girls doing business in the Russian sector of Beijing. All these girls are lodged in hotels (e.g. Ritan Hotel) close by , they are alone and also they are looking about "good possibilities"

I am only talking about the P4P type. Highly commercial in my POV when compared with other Asian varieties e.g. Thai, Filipino, and even Chinese pros. I have never found one even close to a GFE. Where can the exceptions be found in Beijing? How do you define "high maintenance"?
OAHThe area around Ritan Lu especially establishments like Hollywood, Ostrov, Elefant, etc. are is full of Russian ladies.
High maintenance means you take her to dinner, buy her a present, treat her like your girlfriend (GFE works in both directions, you know). Russian ladies like to be treated like princesses and if you do well, they'll treat you like a Czar.

I have no fucking idea of the addresses.
I just get the concierge at my hotel to write the addresses on a hotel card and then write below in English what address it is.
It is nothing for me to head out for a night of pussy huntingwith 5 or 6 cards from hotel ALL with chinese addresses on them - Lido, Den, Minders, Hard Rock, Hollywood, Maggies - whatever.
Just flash the card to the taxi driver and he will take you there.
As for hotels - I never give advice on hotels except to say I can pretty well guarantee you will never be stopped from taking girls to room at China World at any time day or evening.
In past I have been stopped at Sheraton Great Wall, Landmark Towrs, both Novatels and last visit I asked at Wangfujing Grand Hotel if I could take girls to room after 11pm and they said definitely not. This 5 star hotel regularly offers room s at US65 to US70 - so it is cheap.
Kunlun Hotel is another 5 star hotel that I have found to be girl friendly at all times - but that is the extent of the advice I can honestly give you.

Forget the trains and requests for info - just go to the concierge desk in China World lobby and ask them to write the address for whichever bar you want to visit on a hotel card - flash that address to the cab driver and you will be there in 10 minutes.
Save the hotel card for your return journey - flash that at the taxi driver and he will drop you and your 1, 2 or 3 little fucking machines back at the hotel.
Nothing could be easier.

back to the front guys.
ok, we went to deschengmen and walked the rep001tered area of about 40 or so bbs. not bad selection. we walked around for about an hour and just window shopped until we went in and talked to some older ladies. 60 for a massage and and hand job for 100. we split. it was cool there, they had their little boy in the shop so i played with him for a minutebecause i teach here.

If you like, you can try following rout:
1. Find the Kunlun Hotel. (Every texi driver knows it. it is on the east side of
the city. Not far from the 3rd Rring Highway)
2. Suppose that you are standing in front of Kunlun Hotel, then you can walk
back and forth on the street that in front of the Hotel. You may find
what you want. If not,
3. in front of Kunlun Hotel, get a taxi, go east. Make a right turn at the first
intersection. Now you are on the side-street that is parallel to the 3rd
Rring Highway. Looking on sidewalk on your right. You can go as far
as 3 -4 miles until you meet Chaoyang street. If you still do not find what
you want, give it up.
Last summer, I did the same. As I was getting close to Chaoyang street, there were about 20-30 sw's on the right side of the street around 11:30 PM. Some of the aggressive ones were even getting off the sidewalk and standing in the middle of the driveway trying to get attention.
However, that was last summer. Let me know what it looks like now.

Was on my way to the airport the other night for a late arrival pickup. Decided to drive around Kunlun, Hard Rock area along 3rd ring road. It was about 10:15pm. SW's coming out of the woodwork! Had been a long time since I cruised this area late at night, being the old man, early to bed early to rise type. I always book my rooms online with elong.net. They offer the best rates in China. My chinese buddies using it too. Never book a room at the Beijing airport at the Tourist counter. Even if it says "official tourist counter" or something, they rip people legaly off.
Greetings, WSG folks. As you can tell, I'm new here. I've got a bunch of reports on the way about the scene in Beijing. However, I'd like to qualify that with the following statement:
1. I really suck at mongering. Within the context of BBSing, I can never get more than a HJ. I think it's a communication issue, as my Chinese, will passable for ordinary conversation, isn't quite working here. It's not like they teach us the key words for this in my Chinese class either. If anyone could let me know key terms or how you signal to them you want more than a HJ, please let me know. I'm used to the American-style AMP/AAMP arrangement, where you automatically get FS. Not exactly how to pose the question in a hotel massage parlor or BBS, and I worry a lot that a place is "legit" or they only do HJs, and when you ask for FS, whether or not they will freak out and call the cops.
2. I always get ripped off. Like constantly and on a huge scale. I always pay more than I should. I'd appreciate any tips anyone can give me to help me out in this regard. I'm hearing a lot of people say that they can get FS at a BBS for 200 - 250, so I'm always left wondering why on earth I'm paying 1k RMB for a HJ. Basically, any help for a noob would be appreciated.
However, I'd certainly feel bad if I merely listed requests without supplying any info on my experience. Because of points 1 and 2 above, I would generally consider my experiences what you should consider as the "worst case scenario", and probably not a representative experience, especially since I've read in other reports that other people have problem getting extras. Or in my cases, some of the "extras" are more than what I've bargained for. So without further ado, my first report:
Beijing Telecom Hotel:
The hotel itself is very close to the Western Train Station. So you go downstairs, head up to the desk, and then ask for a massage. First, they take you to take a shower, and then plop you down in the sauna. (Some random service guy will be escorting you through the entire process.) After you've sweated it out in the sauna for a while, you go back in the shower to rinse off. They then will take you through a maze of unmarked doors and labyrinth-like hallways (I assume the entire building is designed to confuse LE during any raids), until you go through a large massage room with many massage beds. After you pass through that, there are a cluster of poorly lit small private rooms. You lie down in the massage bed (the one with a whole in the middle where your face goes), and then shortly the masseuse comes in.
This one acted completely legit for pretty much the whole time. I got a very good massage, which was fine, but in the meantime, I'm racking up huge fees because it's taking a while for her to do the very thorough massage. Each time increment goes by, she confirms that you want to continue. (It's like a video game that you keep on feeding in quarters until you think you'll beat the game, being prompted after dying on whether or not you want to continue.) I think each time increment was 45 minutes, but it could have been 30 minutes. So, I'm just lying there for a while getting massaged, and then she notices I have a cold. (At this point, it was a cold, but it would later turn into bronchitis, thanks in part to Beijing's air pollution.)
She then proposes some special Chinese medicinal treatment. This one is expensive. It sounds great on paper, but then I later find out that this treatment is twofold: One, your back gets raked with something horrible. It felt like sandpaper. Discussion with my Chinese friends later tells me that it was actually likely a horn from some animal. Basically, she will rake patterns into your back (and she really digs in too) that look like crop circles. These crop circles will stay on your back for weeks thanks to a "special" medicinal salve. After this, she has these glass jars which she lights a fire in to create a vacuum. After a vacuum has been created, she puts it on your back, where it basically sucks your back into the jars. Repeat that for with about 10 jars at a time. These leave huge dark circular marks on your back that make you look like a pepperoni pizza. By the way, all of these hurt a lot too.
I thought that upping for these services would make the "normal" MP service automatic. Finally, at the end, right after reupping me up for another time increment, then she asks if I want to tui you. Of course, at this point, I enthusiastically say yes, but my raw and broken back certainly made it challenging! So she does the HJ thing, and then I'm out of there, or so I think. As I walk outside the lobby, the "service people" close the exit door, physically block it, and demand a "service fee". They point to a pile of money that's been collecting next to the door. I ask them how much is appropriate, and they say, "Whatever you think is appropriate." Well, there are two big guys blocking the exit to the door, so I think 100 kuai is about appropriate to get the heck out. I go to the cashier. Kaching, kaching, kaching! After reupping like 3 times, getting the "special" treatment, the normal room fee, the "service person" shakedown, I'm probably out 1,000 - 1,100 RMB. Add in the cab ride to and from, and I'm probably paying close to 1,200 RMB for a HJ. Oh yeah, and for someone to rake your back and to suck it into jars, which will then make you a cause of laughter for weeks if you happen to go to a beach. (Just remember when they ask you about the medicinal treatment: Pepperoni and crop circles.)
In previous reports, a WSG poster mentioned that there are VIP rooms that automatically give you FS. At the front desk, I asked for the best room and service that they had, but I ended up in just a "normal" room. Certainly nothing that matched the description of the VIP room. This could certainly be a communication error on my part.
So this concludes my first "mongering" experience in Beijing. Swing and a miss from a value standpoint. I can't say that I enjoyed the service shakedown either. Massage was good, but certainly not 1,200 RMB good. Getting sanded and sucked: well, you couldn't pay me enough money to avoid that in the future. All in all, an expensive HJ. The first of many as well. More to come later!

First and foremost, reading the forum regularly is the bet way to get educated on what the going rate is and what places give decent service.
Get a fair understanding of what is going on. AFTER you read through a reasonable amount of the forum, please by all means ask thoughtful questions.
The mongering scene is quite dynamic and changes all the time, so you need to keep up with the reading - and contribute. Learn from the senior members.
Generally most places will only speak mandarin unless you go to higher end places or hang with the Mongolians (Maggies!). Sorry but this is China not Europe or North America.
Bargain harder, learn the technique. Negotiate the cost of service up front first, then agree to get serviced. You have to be very clear how much the services cost. If you don't like the price, just say "sorry, no thanks", and leave. Never put yourself in the position of not being able to leave without knowing how much first.
Never assume anything is included, you have to ask first unless you already understand (ie - you are a regular) how business is done at a particular establishment.
I personally don't know about the Beijing Telecom Hotel, but it sounds like they are in the business to extort customers rather than service customers.
Anyone have anything to add about this place?
Go to the Pig and Thistle to get started then graduate to Maggie's. Prices for take out can range from 400rmb to more than 1,200rmb. YMMV depending on your negotiating technique and the girl.

You guys did not promise too much, I must say! My buddy and me were staying at the Sheraton Great Wall. The first night was Wednesday so no cover charge at the Hard Rock. The selection was terrible in there so after a few beers we took a cab to Maggies around 00:30. Within 30 Minutes we had meet 3 girls that had apparently just arrived in Beijing and that were from the same town. Tungaa, Odnoo, and Eeggie (excuse my spelling). All 20 years old. Tungaa especially was a real stunner - a 9.5 in my book - and she also was the only one that spoke passable English. The other two were 7 and 8, respectively. We took them to the Hotel (no problems getting them to our room) and had a wild night, the five of us. Greetings, WSG folks. As you can tell, I'm new here. I've got a bunch of reports on the way about the scene in Beijing. However, I'd like to qualify that with the following statement:
1. I really suck at mongering.
2. I always get ripped off.I must emphasis this is both a very sad and entertaining story, one which i can certainly identify with (Although my rip off experiences have occurred in Japan and have cost me up to $US1K for nothing more than a talk and some bad whisky, so don't feel too bad about your experiences.)
My advise if you are having difficulty is to try something like the Hollywood Cafe or Maggies. At Hollywood you will normally end up with Russians, half of which are Asian in appearances and the other half laowai. The price is always clear, starting at RM800 for fellatio and intercourse for about a 30min time frame or RM2000 for all night – and they love Asian men. You could try and negotiate it down, but as most of the girls only speak Russian this may be difficult. At Maggies you can get Mongolians and the occasional Chinese – more negotiation required here, but at least English is spoken.
I find the karaoke places i frequent have very poor English skills, thus its hard to negotiate unless you speak mandarin. However the barber shops around Lido seem to understand enough to provide whatever service you require.

I was in the Wangfujing area, and I looked at the map and deciided to make a taxi rn from there to Chaoyang and north along 3rd ring road. In fact we partially drove in redidential areas one street further from the ring road.

I have seen them at the corner of the lower street beside 3rd ring and Guanhua Lu on various occassions. It was not before midnight and as late as 2-3pm. Never tried any of them. From a quick look around I would say the appearance of the girls around Hard Rock Cafe - Landmark was more appealing.
Also there can be longer periods without them and then they appear again. But just walk or drive around the block of the Kerry Center/Hotel and you might find them. Alternative would be the centro (bar at the Kerry Hotel) where you find 2-3 girls at the bar (ok looking) but overpriced (RMB 1000-1500 ST).

A while back, maybe 2 months ago, while walking on the first street after the HRC on the right (going north), I came accross a massage called The Regency massage. The actual address is N°39 Maizidian street, Chaoyang district. It's in the opposite corner of San Quan Appartments. You actually have to walk downstairs to the reception area. Do not be put off by the darkness of the reception hall.
The first time, I went in to ask for information etc. and a nice gentleman, Mr. Johnson Hu, Sales Marketing director who spoke very good english came over to talk (tell him Jimmy sent you and recommend him to you, chances are you'll get a better deal).
It is on the pricey side: 198 for a 45 min massage, but they recommend you take 2 sessions, 158 for the shower, 98 for the foot massage, and a VIP room costs 1180 kuai (includes the 2 times session but not the tip, around 400). Now do not understand that you get to come 2 times, it only means longuer time. The next visit I went in and asked for the same Johnson and negotiated with him a waiver of the 158 of the shower on the grounds that it was my first time there. Whe I make it to senior member, I'll post the scan of their tarif in English: you'll not understand much, but you'll have a good laugh.
Total damage including tip= 800. The showers, resting area, and jacuzzi are really high class and spotless. Kind of Philippe stark design for those who know the architect.
Initially they brought a girl rated about 6, tall but a bit too plump for me (I like them slim and tall). I asked for another one and here again Johnson came to my rescue. I believe the original rules of WSG was for photos of girls only. Is that correct? However, since Jackson does not always enforce the rule, if that is correct, then you can post any pictures you like. Since it's his website, that's the way it is.
My personal preference is for pictures of the girls only, or girls with girls. I'm not being critical of persons who have different preferences or sexual orientations. We each evolve different behavioral preferences and that's ok.

Depends on what your preferences are, though both are girl friendly the Traders probably gives you better service. Tianlun is probably a bit less luxurious (not that the Traders is very luxurious). The main advantage of the Tianlun is that you get everything in-house. At Traders, you have to go out and shop.
On the third floor of Tianlun Dynasty Hotel is the Capital Nightclub where you can pick a girl and take her up to your room straight away (you don't even have to spend time and money at the nightclub, though if you have 1,000 yuan and a couple of hours to spare you can have a girl keep you company and sing with you in one of the numerous rooms there). Price for ST is 1,500 yuan and for overnight is 2k. At the basement is the Dynasty karaoke, and the drawback there is that they won't left their girls go until 1:30 in the morning. Price is about the same as the Capital nightclub. Next door to the karaoke is the Bili Dynasty Sauna where there are standard rooms and VIP suites (fully equipped with shower, bath, toilet and steam room) where full service can be provided. You can also just call the sauna from your room and ask them to send a girl up. Full service room service is 1.4k.

Sorry to hear about your "bad" experience at the Beijing Telecom Hotel. You certainly did not get one of the four VIP suites. They are actually located outside the massage parlor area and I think you have to talk to the manageress (she's quite good looking, good figure, about 30 something) or whoever is in charge at that time to gain access. The room costs about 600 yuan and you can spend two to three hours there. Full service by the girl is 1k though once I got away with 800. Normally you have only three to four girls to choose from. They do everything, shower (even bath, in a Japanese-style wooden tub covered with a huge plastic sheet to ensure hygiene), catbath, ice-fire blow job (sometimes uncovered, depending on the girl) and of course sex (always covered).
The deal you've got is a normal massage at the common section, which does not offer full serivce, only hj. You also got an extra medicinal treatement which of course cost extra money. Next time just insist on the VIP room (unfortunately I've lost the manageress' phone number).
I only know of a few Beijing massage parlours where you can get a private suite (with shower and sometimes sauna facilities) and full service. The BJ Telecom Hotel is one, the Tianlun Dynasty Hotel's sauna (at the basement) is another. Then there is the Oriental Palace across from the China World Hotel, and the sauna at the basement of the Oriental Cultural Exchange Hotel (at Jiaodaokou). Anyone who has more information on this type of establishement please let me know.
